Cake shop
Coffee shop
Lemon and Mint is a bakery in the historical district of Segovia that specializes in ponche segoviano, a rich, lemon-infused sponge cake coated with marzipan and topped with icing sugar. The cookie shop also offers a variety of refreshing cafés.
We ended up here because the famous Pastelería El Acueducto was closed for holidays, but it turned out to be a great decision. Our goal was to try the traditional Ponche Segoviano, and the one offered at Limón y Menta is truly among the best. Perfectly balanced, with just the right sweetness and texture. Another plus is that they offer the cake in different sizes, making it easy to take home or enjoy on the spot. A must-stop for anyone who wants to taste one of Segovia’s most iconic desserts.
Q G — Google review
The ponche de Segovia was delicious. We were too full from our lunch so we decided to split one ponche between the four of us. We didn’t expect to like it so much, we felt we could have eaten a half portion each. Definitely recommend the Ponche de Segovia. We also had the cocas de piñones, pine nuts pastry. It was ok, not bad. We did a take away since the place was stifling with heat even if this was in October, probably a lack of ventilation. There were tables at the back but it didn’t seem to be too clean, maybe because it was the end of the day. Service was so so too - we weren’t attended too for a bit of time. There were 3 of us who had to try to get their attention. Maybe it was end of day and they were tired. Overall, the ponche is recommended. I would return for their ponche and do a take away again and sit at the benches at their Plaza Mayor to enjoy it.
Anna M — Google review
Crowded place with lot of tourists. Tried the Ponche Segovia dish which is the famous one from here. It was indeed tasty! Go for this place if you want to quickly try some local delicacies, but be prepared to wait in line.
Sujay S — Google review
This place smells as amazing as it looks. Everything seems delicious. We got the ponche and florones. We got the chocolate one - delish! They had a cafeteria in the back as well to sit and eat which was nice. The worker there was great in handling our allergies. She packed the dessert separately to avoid any cross contamination of nuts.
Natalie T — Google review
I tried the typical ponche Segoviano with a coffee. Very nice pastry! Lovely waitress Maria. It all of a sudden got very busy!
Carol M — Google review
Tried the famous Ponche Segoviano at Pastelería Limón y Menta — a bit too sweet for me. Same for the lemon sorbet, but at least the sour kick was refreshing!
C T — Google review
Was dying to try the ponche segoviano but didn’t want to try one whole, huge piece this was luckily sold in very small pieces in this shop. The lady serving us was friendly (though got queue jumped by a Spanish family when though we were next in line!!) . The cake was small but rich and nice.
C R — Google review
So I was a bit weary of this place due to the reviews of service but luckily we had no issues. We had 2 ladies at the counter and the one who served us was nice and answered our questions. Wesat at the back for a break during the rain and I got to try my Ponche dessert which was sweet but nice to try. If this dessert intrigues you, give it a try. We also got a pastry and coffee as well.

Confectionery store
Breakfast restaurant
Pastelería - Cafetería Mantequerías York in Soria is widely regarded as the top spot for breakfast or a quick bite. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat, a cup of coffee, or a satisfying sandwich, this place has got you covered. The pastries and sweets on offer are exquisite, while their coffee is also highly praised. Service is limited to counter orders only, but be prepared for it to get busy on weekends.
The place to have one of the best churros in the country for breakfast. They do very nice tostadas too. We visited this cafe three times during our three days' stay in Soria.
Un V — Google review
As tourist it is impossible not to see this bar/pastry shop while strolling around one of Soria’s main squares. Allegedly, this place has a very good reputation as pastry and local delicacies shop. However, we came in to drink a “cortado”. One young guy and two young girls were working at the bar. The shop was full and I had to wait almost 10’ before getting served, with only two guests ahead. The staff was surely overloaded, however they were totally disengaged from work. No smiles, no attention to the clients, if robots were there it would have been more fun, at least for the clients, to watch. I ordered a cappuccino, and with my big surprise they do it with chocolate as first layer…no comment on that. We found a seat in the back side of the shop, it was a total mess. As I am writing I am still in the shop and look at the mess in the attached photo. Nobody is coming over to clean the tables up. For sure, I won’t come ever again here.
Pietro M — Google review
Great pastry shop and cafeteria in the old town of Doris. Their sweet butter is a classic.
Manuel V — Google review
Best place in Soria for breakfast or just a sweet and coffee or a sandwich whenever you feel like! The sweets are exquisite and the coffee is also good! Service at the counter only and expected it to be full on weekends!
Helio R — Google review
Someone local recommended their churros. But when I was there the churros were finished. So I had a coffee with a croissant and later tried their bizcocho de almendras. They were all perfect. I wish I had more time to try the churros.

Chocolate shop
Cafeteria
Chocolate cafe
Chocolatería Valor is a small chocolatier located near the university in Salamanca, offering the best hot chocolate and freshly made churros. Unlike other places, they make their own churros, which are twice as big and not in the usual star shape. The specialty hot chocolates come in flavors like orange, black pepper, and cinnamon. The bar specializes in chocolate and also serves a modest Continental breakfast along with coffee and cakes for teatime.
Delicious oversized churros and rich chocolate. We tried the chocolate sampler all of which were delicious.
Benjamin C — Google review
A great Brand that deserved more respect from the employees. Service was terrible, with 5 person in the house but no one attending clients. The kitchen doors were open so the screams, laughs and singing of the team could be loudly heard inside the room. After waiting for more than 10 minutes we called the waiter that was just talking with his colleague and the answer was that we should wait and he would come to us when he should. Great food, terrible service
Eduardo P — Google review
We are 'regulars' and consider it our home from home for a coffee and churros or a beer. Customers are always made welcome even when they are busy. The boss, Ruth, is a delight.
Ashley B — Google review
I recently visited this Valor cafeteria, known for its churros and hot chocolate, and I must express my disappointment with the experience. Upon arrival, my party and I were left unattended for 5-10min despite the establishment not being particularly busy. It was evident that the staff chose to ignore us, which was quite frustrating. When we finally received our order, the churros were a significant letdown. They were excessively greasy and lacked the traditional taste and texture one expects from this beloved treat. The churros were far from the authentic delight I had hoped for, leaving a greasy aftertaste that marred the experience. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this Valor cafeteria based on this visit. The service was unacceptably poor, and the quality of the churros failed to meet even basic expectations of tradition and taste.
Lucas L — Google review
Friendly service, amazing churros and chocolate. They speak a little English but still try to make you feel welcome. The coffee was some of the best we have had in Spain. Prices also were very affordable. A terrific choice for breakfast.
Ho W — Google review
I ate "Churros con Chocolate" there at two different occasions and both time the churros were overly greasy - to the point where, the second time, I felt sick and nauseous afterwards. Staff are mostly nice and pleasant. The location is really prime: near the Plaza Mayor and the Mercado. But the fact that the churros had probably been made hours before and simply reheated for a couple of minutes when I ordered them kind of killed the vibe for me.
Gaelle — Google review
A warm welcome, excellent coffee, churros cooked to order plus many other delights, all delivered with a smile.
Gwyn F — Google review
Churros were tasteful, light, and sweet. The chocolate was rich and flavorful. Would have given it a five but customer service was lackluster. I would highly recommend this establishment.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable ice cream experience, look no further than Helados La Valenciana. This charming spot in Zamora offers a delightful array of homemade flavors that are both unique and incredibly creamy. Each scoop bursts with freshness, making it hard to resist trying more! The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring every visit feels special—especially if you’re introducing little ones to their first taste of ice cream.

Helados La Valenciana serves some of the best homemade ice cream I’ve had in Zamora. The flavors are unique and creamy, with a freshness you can taste in every bite. I tried pistachio and turrón, both rich and full of flavor, and they reminded me of true artisanal gelato. The texture is perfect – smooth, natural, and not overly sweet. The shop itself is small and simple, but the quality of the ice cream speaks louder than any decoration. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and the staff is kind. If you’re strolling around Av. de Portugal, this is definitely worth a stop – one of those places that makes a city feel more alive. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) We went to this ice cream shop this summer. There are many others in Valencia, but this is the only one that offers guarantees for people with nut allergies. The person who served us, a young woman with short hair and light eyes, understood the problem from the start. She informed us of the allergens, opened a fresh tub, and served us the ice cream with a clean spatula. Finding such a kind person, who served us with a smile at all times and who empathized with our problem, made the ice cream even better. Thank you so much for your service. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone and consider it a must-visit in Zamora.

(Translated by Google) It's been a while since we've been to the city. We bought some ice cream at this shop. Before, you could at least eat it. Now, I don't know what they have, but they're not artisanal, and I don't recommend buying them. First, you can't see them, which is normal in older shops, but the customer can't see them. Second, the makers are still electric. The pistachio ice cream seems like mint, and the flavor isn't artisanal. Third, before, you'd find chunks of the product, whole hazelnuts, and nougat. The only one we tried that retained some artisanal flavor was the walnut cream. I'm sorry to have to write this review because the staff are good, but the product is of very low quality. I don't recommend this place!!!!

I haven't been to their cafe, but I have been to their bakery and their pastries are incredibly delicious and the staff are very friendly. I'm not an expert on the local cuisine as I live very far from Spain, but I hope to visit this place a few more times. If I understand correctly that their pastries use their own brand of creme, then in my opinion they deserve a Michelin star. Also, with all the best wishes, I hope your bakery will flourish and never face difficulties. #🇪🇸❤️🇺🇦

Holy Cow Crepes, Café y Gelato is a must-visit spot in Leon. The owner, who hails from Italy, is known for his exceptional customer service and ability to converse fluently in English and Spanish. Visitors appreciate the diverse gelato flavors available, with recommendations including Ace and limone gelato. The shop also offers vegan options such as sorbets that are highly praised for their taste.
I went there and inhaled two crepes and an afogato after biking the Camino - all extremely delicious. The owner was super nice and took care of me and also speaks English! Highly recommend this place if you need delicious calories after arriving in Leon walking/biking the Camino.

Pistachios are tasty but a bit too sweet for me. However, I chose lemon for the other flavor, and the sourness of the lemon makes it taste really good together.

Awesome people working the counter and very good ice cream. Loved the excited vibe of the place and LOVED cooling down with the ice cream. Thank you to the kind man behind the counter being patient with our very poor Spanish.
Linda B — Google review
The person serving was very helpful and spoke English well which was so appreciated. He said he spent some time living in London so that was nice. He was very informative about vegan options, there were 3 sorbets at the time and I got two scoops. He made us aware of allergens present and was very kind and helpful. The sorbets were the best I've ever had! Would go again if I was near. In the pic is strawberry sorbet and passion fruit sorbet 😋

Tucked away in a quiet alley, this Italian-run gelato spot is a hidden gem. I had the gelato sandwich—house-made (I think?) walnut cookies with cheesecake ice cream, and it was simply delicious. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the texture was spot on. Creamy gelato, crunchy cookie, it just worked. If there’s an option to go with their own baked stuff instead of the store-bought cone, definitely go for it. Totally worth it. Better pay to someone who make it instead of the chain store (iykyk)

Ice cream is to die for! I had the chocolate but my wife had the lemon meringue and it was even better as it had meringue bits in it which was awesome. The lady gave us a full scoop of icecream in the cup and even more which was awesome value for money!

Pastry shop
Confitería El Alcázar is a legendary pastry shop in Segovia that offers a delightful selection of traditional pastries and desserts. Visitors can indulge in delectable treats such as the iconic ponche segoviano, a typical dessert featuring sponge cake, yolk cream, syrup, and marzipan. The shop's authentic charm harks back to the early twentieth century, providing a unique tasting experience amidst its beautifully decorated interior.
We had a taste of several local specialities, and they all were... delicious!
Dan M — Google review
We want to try some tipical cakes, but we ask for some informations and the woman at the desk answered us "nothing", showing to be terribly bored. Great work to make tourist escape. Then we have spent 30 euros in a shop in the same street. Great work, go on in this way!
Claudio T — Google review
I paid €18 for a single piece of their famous cake (cut into four small pieces), one éclair, and 100 grams of chocolate-covered orange peel. Honestly, it feels insane—I can’t shake the feeling that I was overcharged. Before me, locals were buying similar items, and I doubt they paid the same price. The cake is amazing, but the lack of displayed prices and the way the owner handled the transaction makes me think they aren’t entirely honest.
Dariia V — Google review
Avoid! Extremely rude lady who works there didn't want to weight the cookies, but randomly overpriced them. Do not confuse this shop with "Pastelería Limón y Menta" which is great and would recommend you to go there.
Srdjan F — Google review
Lady didn't seem to care, the cookies where not great. Will not go back for the level of service and taste

Delicious pastries and tea! We had it there on the cafe area and so nice service. Perfect to taste the traditional desserts!
Eva M — Google review
I went in to buy the typical Ponche and a couple of Borrachos, which I haven't eat for years. Maybe to remark that it was 36º (97ºF) outside. I hesitated about the possibility to carry the Ponche for a long trip. I spoke to the woman and, even knowing her product, she insisted that the product will last long. Forty minutes later the cake was melting and the bag sticky with sugar. They want to sell, and they don't care about the customer. I regret the choice and the dishonest chat of the woman attending. The conversation was hold in Spanish and there was no option of confusion because being lost in translation. My recommendation is not to buy here. Not only because of the price, but because the Ponche was not properly protected for a long trip as it was explained to the person who sold it to me.
Jorge A — Google review
Totally agree with other people. Product is great but the customer service is zero. They didn't even bother turning the lights on! Will I go back? Definitely not. Even if they supposedly invented the "PONCHE SEGOVIANA" the customer service is really bad. Is one of those places that eventually disappears and we all feel sorry saying we should support traditional businesses...Well, they can close down tomorrow, if it depends on me.

The pastries and coffee are okay but what I don’t like are the broken plates and the server is not gentle like she wants to really break the plates lol. Also, the pistachio cake is a little expensive, 3.95 for a small cake. Anyway, what’s nice is the ambiance, very bright esp on a sunny day.

We came here on a public holiday for afternoon tea. Even though the place was busy, the service was still fast and friendly. La Tahona offers a good range of bakery stuff such as Napolitana con Chocolate, Churros, but also bocadillos and pizzas. Everything we ordered was good and I can recommend the place to go.

It is a very suitable space for drinking coffee, tea, snacks and breakfast. It has a wide variety of sweets and croissants with excellent quality and good service. The takeout cafe also has good quality and quantity and I always start my days with it. If you're looking for pincho, you won't find it at this cafe. Be sure to try the tested croissant with Spanish jamon. If you like sweets, you must try the "Rocket"(in espanish), which is special for Salamanca. You can enjoy a variety of sweets for tea and coffee. Has employees with great morals and smiles. I can't imagine the start of the working day without seeing them. Energetic and polite people.

The woman who served us was incredibly rude. Not a great representative of the business or of Salamanca. The hornazo we bought was ok, but not particularly special. Certainly it did not make up for the ill-mannered service we received. I recommend giving this place a miss.

I've come here a few times and the service has always been downright rude. Their pastries are decent (not the best in the city) and the hornazo has nice chunks of egg in it, which I like, but it's just not worth dealing with the poor attitude of the staff-- especially the younger woman, who is just plain mean to anyone she believes is a tourist. It's particularly ironic, considering that this place constantly has lines of tourists and would not have nearly as much business without them. Very good ice cream. They have at least 8-10 gluten-free and vegan choices
Pablon P — Google review
Coming from Italy, I might be a bit spoiled when it comes to ice cream, but I have to be honest: this doesn’t really compare to real gelato. The texture is airy and a bit icy, lacking that smooth and creamy body you expect from proper artisan ice cream. The flavors sound creative, but in reality they don’t have much depth or balance, and many taste more artificial than natural. Portions are generous and the staff is friendly, so it’s fine for a quick sweet stop. But if you’re looking for authentic gelato, this is not the place where you’ll find it.

Good selection of ice cream. It tasted amazing.

Very solid spot to get ice cream in Valladolid. The liens can get relatively long, especially if you visit in the summer or if it's a hot day in general. They offer a decent amount of flavors, with some more traditional like nata and others being American inspired, like cookies and cream. I tried their dulce de leche and kinder bueno flavors. Both were relatively good. To be honest, it's not within the top 3 ice cream spots in terms of flavor I've had on my Spanish visit, but it is solid. Not excessively sweet, which I enjoyed. They are also EXTREMELY generous with the portion sizes. A small is enough to split, so it's a great bang for your buck/euro. I preferred the kinder bueno to the dulce de leche, but both were decent. There weren't any big pieces of chocolate in the bueno but a bit of the flavor all throughout. Dulce just tasted like a classic caramel ice cream. All in all, a very decent spot for ice cream. Amazing portions, nice interior to enjoy s cup or cone with some friends. Would recommend.
Ulyana K — Google review
I'm not an ice cream expert, but it is really well made (they even think carefully about what milk they use). They are super generous with their portions. Why a 4/5? The outdoor area and bar sometimes get too busy and not cleaned soon enough. Always had nice staff serving.

The girls are very friendly, and in my case, I bought some exquisite puff pastries. The only complaint I can make is that I couldn't see the ingredients on the packaging of these puff pastries, which is very important, especially for people who may have some nutritional problems. Otherwise, I encourage the company to continue delighting us with these sweets and not close down due to a lack of generational renewal. It's a shame these places are closing these days. Pastelería Bravo is renowned as one of the best pastry shops in Valladolid. The cream they offer is unparalleled, and their roscones are also highly praised. They tried to deceive us from the start, using arguments that treated us like we were stupid the whole time. Also there are a few tables and chairs there where you can sit and enjoy the baked goods there.

The most inefficient management of the coffee shop I've ever seen. There was one queue for the bakery, where people buy bread and pastries, and the same queue for the coffee shop. I waited for 10 minutes to order coffee, even though there was only one woman in front of me buying a lot of pastries. Why was I waiting? There was only one person serving both. Nothing against people working here it’s purely about how this place is managed. I ordered coffee and macaroons, but the macaroons were dry and definitely not fresh. Judging by the smell, they had been sitting at the display for quite some time. Another brunch in Leon at Avenida República Argentina is much nicer !

Pastry bakery M. Sanz has been a beloved spot for over a decade, attracting both locals and visitors from afar with its tantalizing array of pastries and delicious coffee. The bakery is always bustling, offering mouthwatering cakes and pastries that are as delightful to look at as they are to eat. Customers rave about the Ponche Segoviano, while others praise the homemade cakes, traditional bread, and fresh biscuits.
I have been savouring its pastries and coffee in its café for more than a decade. The array of pastries set out certainly 'tantalise' the taste buds. No wonder the Spanish from far and wide visit this bakery.

(Translated by Google) Disastrous customer treatment! My family has been clients of Gil's for 50 years. Charo was another member of my family. It was wonderful to go shopping and meet the smile of Vicen, Luci. And what can we say about the quality of their products. Out of 10. Like every Christmas we have ordered all kinds of products. On Christmas Eve 30 canapés, they told us that since it was before the 24th, it would be no problem to order whatever we wanted. Also cakes. The canapés in a box and everything correct. On the 29th we are preparing to do the same operation, ordering canapés for New Year's Eve another 30 canapés and cakes. And he tells me that you can't have 20 or 40 canapés. I explain to him that last week they told me that since it was before the peak date I could buy as many as I wanted. The rude and rude employee tells me that I must be wrong. Because keep in mind that for your employees, while serving they discuss their shifts and their internal work problems. THE CUSTOMER IS DUMB AND DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING. As it is, I assume I'm stupid and don't realize it and order 40 canapés, because Gil's products are eaten without thinking. But I say that please, in a box because I have to travel. What was my surprise when I went to pick them up that they gave me two trays and I told him that I asked for boxes, because I have to travel, to which again he replied that that It can't be, because they always give the canapés on a tray. REMEMBER FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES, CUSTOMERS ARE DUMB. I attach a photo of how the canapés arrived at my house. Let's see how they get to Valladolid. In short, they have some of the best products in Salamanca, but the customer treatment is humiliating and disastrous, which can result in the customer not buying again because customers are not DUMB, we are polite. Not like her shop assistants at María Auxiliadora's confectionery. A ver cómo llegan a Valladolid.

(Translated by Google) On Friday the 22nd, I picked up an order I'd placed with several items, including a 1kg puff pastry empanada with bacon and dates. It was for a family snack in the village. When I arrived in the village, I thought about how expensive the order had been, so I weighed the empanada. It weighed 1.8kg, not 1kg. My first mistake: they'd sold me a 1.8kg empanada, and I'd ordered a 1kg one. I wish that had been the problem. When I cut into the empanada at the snack, I discovered that instead of puff pastry, it was dough (the second mistake), and instead of bacon and dates, it had pork loin, bacon, and cheese (the third mistake). Since I had no other option, I served the empanada they'd placed for me at the snack, and the worst part was that it was soggy, dry, and inedible. Conclusion: They sold me an empanada I didn't order, it cost me much more, and the product was substandard, which made me look terrible with my guests. It's clear Gil isn't what he used to be.

The place is more than 100 years old, and must be one of the oldest pastry and chocolatier establishments in the region, not to mention the autonomous community. Correct, clean, with plenty of variety, it must be said that being in the summer they should not transfer all their potential and surely a meeting place for the townspeople of Miranda d'Ebro. Honestly, I am visiting this cafe for the second time, since I work near this cafe and the service from these two older blonde ladies is terrible… they serve with such arrogance! They gave me the cake on the tray without a plate, mind you, which by the way looked like it had been eaten because it was missing a piece on one side, they had it placed on a NAPKIN, mind you, and that’s how they served it to me, finally, I didn’t even eat that cake. I crushed it into pieces so that the cake would not be given to other people. WHAT THE OTHER CUSTOMERS DO NOT FINISH EATING IS NOT SERVED AGAIN, IT IS THROWN IN THE TRASH. The strawberry one is also very delicious and very different from the rest of the commercial strawberry ice creams out there. Without a doubt a good place to try and repeat.

On the other side, if you want something from the pastry shop, they don't have table service; you have to pick it up and take it to your seat. We ordered a breakfast with a whole slice of tomato toast and a coffee with milk, both of which were fine. In the pastry section, we ordered a truffle and chocolate sponge cake and another with custard, the latter of which was really good. Confitería Pastelería Santa Lucía is a charming bakery located in Plaza Mayor, offering a variety of delectable treats. The Floreta, a deep-fried pastry shaped like a flower and sprinkled with cinnamon, is highly recommended. Additionally, the shop boasts an array of items including meat empanadas and chocolate muffins. Visitors praise the establishment for its reasonable prices and beautiful decor.
During my time studying in Salamanca, I have been going around and trying croissants at different bakeries to determine which has the best. I have decided that this place is home to the best croissants. The vibes, the price, the size, the taste, all 10/10. The chocolate one is my favorite!

The croissant rellenos Nutella and cheesecake were amazing! The cheesecake ones were out of this world. I wasn’t in love with the hornazo but that wasn’t the bakery, more my food preference. This is a great place for desserts! Highly recommend!

Such a disappointment. Spotted this place one day of our holiday. Particularly liked a colourful truffle creation which was sold by slices in the shop window. I made a mark on my map to make sure I come back before leaving town and buy a few slices as gifts. The day we went back no one was in the shop so I thought i might be able to mix and match but the lady was so grumpy snappy and unhelpful. She refused to cut a piece of the truffle I wanted! Even though there was a huge chunk enough of 8-10 slices. Go figure. She just wanted to sell the ones that were already celofane wrapped. She was, for no reason snappy and downright unfriendly. Good luck with this attitude 3 days before Christmas.

The hornazo I had had good filling but the bread was very dry - as if the bread had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Same goes for the roll (forgot its name) that is sweet and dusted with icing sugar. It was so dry that I wanted to throw it away after the first bite. Very disappointed. Don't be fooled by its pretty interior.

(Translated by Google) Big disappointment. We went through the town's Renaissance Week festivities and among other things we decided to enter this establishment to bring back some souvenirs. My son liked a little metal box that they have in the window and they offered us one that has some artisan pastas made by themselves (as the man serving told us). They were friendly and treated correctly but the surprise and great disappointment came when we got home and opened it to try the pasta. As soon as I opened it, it gave off a rancid smell that I wish could be conveyed in this review. I don't know what could have happened but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to say it here, both for any other buyer (to make sure before buying) and for the seller to take action. By the way, there is no expiration date indication on the box. I realized when I got home and this happened to me since they wrap the box in paper. I don't like being fooled.

It comes in a whole loaf, but you can ask for it to be sliced. It has a slight margarine flavor (I don't know what the ingredients are, since it's not listed on the package, which I really missed). I've also tried the whole-wheat bread (€1.40 for a loaf) and it tastes great. The octopus empanada is delicious; I'd say it's almost a must-try. It costs approximately €17.80 per kilo, and they sell it by weight (you can buy at least a quarter, and they'll weigh it for you later). There's usually a line depending on the time of day. As for the cakes and pastries, everything is delicious. Just remember that good things are almost always very fattening. 😉 They have another shop in the Chamartín market and are going to open one in the Chamberí market.

SantaGloria Coffee & Bakery is a charming spot located at Plaza Del Corrillo,19 in Salamanca. It offers a delightful fusion of Costa coffee-style drinks and a bakery with an array of traditional Spanish pastries and European treats. The cozy ambiance and helpful staff make it a perfect place to enjoy organic barista coffee, teas, and other hot/cold drinks along with sweet and savory pastries.
Santagloria is a large chain of bakery franchisees spread out in Spain with more than 100 locations and in operation since 1963. We went there for breakfast and there were a lot of people. Even with this rush, the line moved up rather quickly. Service was attentive, quick and efficient. You order, pay and choose your seating area. The restaurant is well decorated and the space is wide enough to accommodate a lot of clients at the same time either inside or outside on the terrace. Coffee was better than average and all the pastries we tasted were delicious, expertly baked and flavourful. We highly recommend. P.S.: please leave a quick ❤️ if you found this review useful to you, thank you 🙏

They have a friendly service and also some English speaker. The coffee and sweets are good. I was just a little sad that they don’t have anything special (sweets) from Spain/salamanca. But they had those little croissants (without a cream inside) with different chocolates/creams above. They are tasty! It’s a little bit loud but nice to sit inside! As an information, they will not bring your order to the table, you will take it - self service.

Outstanding flavor! Super tasty and affordable. The vibes in the cafe are one of a kind. I felt super comfortable and relaxed. The croissant was buttery yet the right amount of crunchy on the outside. The ham and cheese compliment the texture and flavor of the croissant. Do not get me started on the cappuccino because as my lips met the soft and warm flavor of this drink, I ascended to heaven. The taste is blended with love and joy. The coffee beans and milk are fused with the right amount of sweetness. 100/10. Excellent experience. Only spent €5.

It was only chocolate in color. Because it didn't taste like chocolate. It was a kind of sugary symbiosis that wove a slight chocolate flavor, but it tasted like something from a supermarket series.

(Translated by Google) The best palm trees we have ever tried. They are delicious, they have more sweets than the palm trees, but without a doubt, they are the icon of this place. Super cheap, at the moment they are 12/kilo, I don't know if they will raise it, but with how good they are, I would pay double without a doubt. If you find yourself in Cuellar, make sure to stop by Bollería Helio, a delightful bakery that offers an impressive array of pastries and sweets. This charming shop is not only known for its delicious treats but also for its warm and friendly service that makes every visit special. While the quality of their products is generally high, some customers have noted a slight imbalance in the variety of pastries offered in larger boxes.
(Translated by Google) A place of exceptional quality. The warm and friendly staff makes you feel right at home. You can tell the love goes into everything they make, and that's also reflected in their pastries: homemade and delicious, with flavors that transport you. Definitely a place to return to again and again. Highly recommended. If I had to recommend one thing, it would be their croissants. (Original) Un lugar con una calidad excepcional. We bought a box of pasta, it has so much variety that you don't know what to choose. All very good. We also bought some egg and meringue cakes and others in the shape of a flower, all very delicious. And also at a very good price. To recommend and repeat if we return there. One drawback... in a large box of pastries, I got 4 or 5 almond pastries, the same number of pine nuts, and the rest, considerably more, coconut. I think it should be more balanced. The chocolate they work with is Varona, a French brand, of very high quality and great international prestige, they have very good looking cakes. Good customer service especially for the owner, the pastry chef. Indecisive people, when you enter, don't think twice, and buy one of the delicatessens they have, you won't regret it. When we told the salesperson that this cake was not the one we had reserved/ordered, she told us that they had not received strawberries or figs that day to be able to decorate it, without offering any type of compensation/alternative. The cakes are well priced to deliver them without what they offered in the first place. We will not repeat ordering cakes. (Translated by Google) Horrible experience, in fact I do not recommend it to anyone. I ordered a breakfast for my mother's birthday, they took it 45 minutes later than the time they told me, the order did not correspond to what I ordered, they added things that I had not ordered and the chocolate was missing from the cup and a millefeuille, I called them to tell them and they brought the millefeuille again but not the chocolate to the cup. And about the packaging that they said was so beautiful..., come on, if I go to the Lupa pastry shop, they prepare it exactly the same, pastries put in a paper bag. In short, a disaster, I'm sad to say because I had a lot of hope to do a special gift for my mother for her birthday since I had to spend it alone and it was sad.
