Restaurant
After 8 - Restaurant And Cafe is a delightful culinary destination that boasts an extensive menu, making it a perfect spot for food lovers. Their dessert offerings are particularly noteworthy, with options like dessert crepes and an impressive selection of ice cream that will satisfy any sweet tooth. For those seeking savory dishes, the avocado salad and halloumi are standout vegetarian choices, while meat enthusiasts can indulge in the mixed grill.
Great food (veggie options like avocado salad and halloumi were excellent, as was the mixed grill for meat eaters) tasty non-alcoholic cocktails (the pina coladas were amazing, the After Eight special was phenomenal), and the desserts… (just look at all that icecream), attentive, helpful and friendly service… arrived hungry, left very happy. Highly recommended for a good tasty feed. Note the main entrance is incorrect on Google Maps (that’s the back entrance down a dark road) so make sure you take the road before…

Decent food, very nice people. They let us stay here for 8 hrs while we waited for the ferry.

The food was really tasty and delicious, I have no complaints about it. However, I think the restaurant’s decor could use some improvement.

Thank you for a lovely meal! Very friendly staff and tasty food. Highly recommended. Also - thank you for looking after my backpack which I left on the seat outside - we returned 30-minutes later and the manager had safely looked after it for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Aqaba Souq and craving something sweet, look no further than Waffle & Crepe. This quaint little spot may be small, with just a counter for ordering and outdoor seating, but it packs a punch when it comes to delightful treats. Their menu is impressively diverse, featuring not only crepes and waffles but also tempting options like donuts, dessert sushi, pancakes, and even a selection of ice cream.
Absolutely loved my experience at the waffle and crepe shop! The crepes and pancakes were the best I've had in a long time. Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The shop's small and cute ambiance added to the delightful vibes. Highly recommended!
Angle M — Google review
One of the best chimney cakes I’ve ever had! I ordered one with pistachio and Lotus and another with dark chocolate and Nutella sauce. I expected them to be half-and-half for each flavor, but they came mixed—and I ended up loving it! The flavors blended perfectly, and the texture was amazing. Definitely coming back for more!
Lamees O — Google review
The waffle and crepe were amazing! Clean place, great vibes, and super friendly staff. Definitely coming back!
Leen Q — Google review
After walking around looking at the sites, we felt like something sweet to eat. We saw Waffles & Crepes and decided to give it a try. The place is very small. There is no indoor seating, it’s really just a counter to order. They have tables outside. They have a menu with options for more than crepes and waffles. They also have donuts and dessert sushi, pancakes, and a small selection of ice cream. We ordered crepes, all of which seem to come with Nutella and your choice of something else. I got mine with fruit which was very good, but there was a bit too much Nutella. Good place for dessert if you want something other than something with a Middle Eastern flavor. With their wide selection, everyone can find something to try.
Ted E — Google review
If you're looking for a delicious treat during your nights in Aqaba Souq, this waffle and crepe restaurant is an excellent choice! The prices are very reasonable, and their menu offers a wide variety of sweet options to satisfy your cravings. The best part is their swift service – your order is prepared quickly without compromising on quality. And don't forget to grab a refreshing drink from the watermelon behind them to complete your dining experience. Highly recommended!
Shatha A — Google review
Exquisite! I had this (cold) layered cake (owner’s recommendation) with pistachios and fruits. It’s perfectly balanced - not too sweet, very tasty, crunchy, and fresh at the same time. The owner is very friendly and the order was ready in less than 5 min. I highly recommend it!

Pistachio Patisserie is a highly recommended restaurant with delicious local cuisine. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service in English. They offer a wide variety of Middle Eastern dishes, including kebabs, hummus, fish & Arais, all of which are flavorful and generously portioned. The desserts are particularly impressive, with highlights such as the knafeh and various nut-filled pastries.
So the restaurant was really nice, it's not just sweets, you have all sorts of middle eastern food, we order the kebabs, hummus, fish & Arais all were very good and nice sizes.

The best local cuisine restaurant that I've had the pleasure of dining at. If you like the tastes of the Levant, this is the place for you. Our waiter was nice, helpful and spoke good English. Do not miss the arayes and the muhammara salad. Excellent knafeh for desert! 5/5

Loved my experience here! Amazing atmosphere and customer service! You can tell they care about the quality of the product. I enjoyed the variety of healthy options available as well. A must try spot if you are in the area!
Salma A — Google review
Beautiful and cozy café, perfect for hanging out with friends and family or to work. They have great WiFi that reaches the outside area, where you’re sitting next to palm trees and have a view towards the mountains, giving it a special atmosphere.🌴⛰️Also to mention that there’s barely any traffic or street noise as the café is not on a main road and ample parking space if you’re coming by car. The service is excellent, with super friendly staff and they even took the time for a quick chat with me. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll become very happy here :D They serve French-style pastries and desserts (I especially recommend the carrot cake), but also offer traditional coffee and a variety of freshly made salads. Definitely coming here again!!

I have been a valuable customer for this bakery since four years. Every year it never seizes to amaze me and my family with the quality of food and nice atmosphere. Jamil the staff member has been really friendly and offered great service

Absolutely amazing bakery! Everything is fresh, full of flavor, and the place has such a warm, cozy vibe. The croissants were so buttery and flaky, and the cinnamon rolls had the perfect crispy outside—just delicious! What I really loved was how everything felt made with care. As soon as you walk in, the smell of fresh bread and pastries hits you—it’s hard not to want one of everything! The people working there are super friendly and happy to help you pick something if you’re not sure. They’ve got a great mix of classic favorites and fun new treats, and the quality is top-notch. The coffee is really good too and goes perfectly with the baked goods. It’s a great spot to grab breakfast, a snack, or just hang out for a bit. If you’re nearby in Aqaba definitely stop by. This bakery is a real gem!

I can't say enough good things about this charming coffee house and bakery! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and oven-baked pastries that immediately makes you feel at home. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to work or a friendly place to catch up with friends, this spot has you covered. Their coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I tried the latte and it was exceptional. But what really blew me away were the baked goods. The croissants are flaky perfection and are some of the best I've ever had. You can tell everything is made from scratch using quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took time to make recommendations.

I like the food here.. The sweets are somewhat the best you can get in a small city like Aqaba however the service is pretty weird. Also the atmosphere is so lacking. They are serving sweets it doesn't hurt for the staff to smile and bring about some joy as they serve something sweet. For the service, you have to take a hand written note from the cashier with a number and wait for them to call your number, then they prepare your order and pack it, then you have to walk back to the cashier and pay.. And all this is guess work. No one really explains it.. 😂 They are lucky there aren't many options in Aqaba..

January 2023 The only place where you can have "Hooh", a dough roll sweet made with coconut, cinnamon and walnuts. It is roasted in an oven with local Jordanian butter and then poured in milk. It's a real local hidden gem. Homza is the third generation who prepares this sweet rolls, a recipe her grandmother created. You can buy a plate of 7 rolls for 5jod or buy one for 1 jod. The rolls are baked in the moment! Homza usually have some seats you can use to wait and enjoy the rolls. Good texture, rich flavors, quality ingredients. It was better than the ones we tried in Amman. I enjoyed all the pastries, all had something different in the taste or texture. Coffee was great too. One of the staff can speak English very well and they are all very kind. We paid 10jd for all.

Stopped at this placw to get some sweets. This is heaven for the lover of sweets😅 Really tasty and fresh pastries! I would recommend everything made in big trays or made the same day. Much better than buying a box. Also really staff and you can pay by card.

Stopped here for a quick dessert ad a coffee, wow what a selection of sweets, desserts and baklava type cakes. We had Knafeh (cheese based with sweet pastry topping, syrup and pistachio) some other shredded wheat type baklava, Burma, lots of nuts and syrup. Good strong coffee too, reasonably priced. All very tasty, very busy place, lots of locals enjoying the sweets. Will definitely be returning.

Kunefe, other desserts, everything is wow. A must visit!! Even though the kunefe is with syrup it is not extremely sweet which is a plus. You can eat one yourself and you won’t get dizzy from the sugars.

I recently visited a sweet shop in the heart of an Arabic market and was thoroughly impressed by the variety and quality of their offerings. The shop itself was small but cozy, with warm lighting and a charming atmosphere. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the sweet aroma of baked goods and the sight of colorful candies and pastries. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering samples of their various treats and answering any questions I had. One of the highlights of the shop was their selection of baklava, which was absolutely delicious. The layers of flaky pastry and sweet honey syrup were perfectly balanced, and the pistachio filling added a delightful crunch. In addition to baklava, the shop also offered a variety of other traditional Arabic sweets such as maamoul and halva. The maamoul I recently had the pleasure of trying the baklava and kunefe from an Arabic sweet shop and was blown away by the flavors and quality of the desserts. The shop itself had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The baklava was some of the best I have ever tasted. The layers of thin pastry were perfectly crispy and flaky, and the filling of chopped pistachios and honey syrup was rich and sweet without being overpowering. The combination of textures and flavors made for a truly decadent treat. The kunefe was also a standout dessert. This traditional Arabic pastry consisted of shredded phyllo dough filled with melted cheese and drizzled with sweet syrup. The cheese was gooey and melted perfectly, and the sweetness of the syrup complemented the saltiness of the cheese. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality and authenticity of the desserts at this Arabic sweet shop. The flavors were rich and complex, and the textures were perfectly balanced. I would highly recommend trying their baklava and kunefe if you have the chance - you won't be disappointed!

If you're in Aqaba and craving a unique ice cream experience, look no further than Milk'n. This delightful spot offers an innovative twist on traditional ice cream, where liquid concoctions are expertly rolled into delicious treats right before your eyes. With flavors like Oreo Nutella and Blueberry Bubble, the options are as exciting as they are tasty! Located conveniently near Haya Circle, the friendly staff is always ready to help you choose from their extensive menu of rich flavors and creative combinations.
Really great rolled ice cream, and the smoothies are also super yummy. This is a 9 minute walk from the circle near McDonald's and totally worth it. We ordered 4 things, and it was under 10 JD! We will be back! Great late night summer treat

Frosti offers a wide selection of delicious ice cream flavors. While the ice cream is highly recommended, some customers have mentioned that they would appreciate friendlier service from the staff.
Great variety of ice cream! Recommended .. the lady who works there is supposed to be friendlier though
Sarah A — Google review
This place used to ne Frosti. Now it's called Scoops, and it's operated by Eat group. The ice cream is delicious. However, I was very disappointed with the service. Doesn't meet Eat group standards and expectations at all.
Basel D — Google review
The interior is quite nice, though the seating area could definitely be improved. Sadly, the ice cream was very disappointing, all the flavors tasted the same with no flavor at all. It felt cheap, which was surprising given the touristy and upscale vibe expected from a place in Ayla.
Rahaf — Google review
It’s called scoops now , not bad ice cream but the waffle cone was too dry, and the place was so expensive, 2 ice cream cone for 10 JD
Khaled I — Google review
The interior of the shop is nice and inviting, but the ice cream was a big disappointment. In such a touristy area, you’d expect better quality!
Raghad J — Google review
I had a really disappointing experience at Frosti's Ayla branch in Aqaba. In my opinion, it serves some of the worst ice cream I've ever tried. The flavor selection was shockingly limited, and the taste was absolutely awful. There was no richness or enjoyment to it at all—just bland and unappealing. It was a big letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent ice cream experience.
Mahmoud K — Google review
Note that if they ask you if you want to add a flavour to your 1.95 jod coffee it will cost an additional dinar. He didn't say it was an extra. It was just a splash of caramel...
Terence B — Google review
The milkshakes were good. Prices are high 2.5jd for one scoop. Another .75jd for a cone. Pretty average ice cream. Nothing to go out of your way to get.

Yummy local area desserts for a great price. Incredibly friendly workers. I enjoyed the gelato, luqaimat, tulumbaor, qatayef and the zainab’s fingers. I definitely recommend and came back every night after eating dinner for my dessert here.

(Translated by Google) A tiny establishment, but definitely worth a visit. Ice cream and hot desserts. We stopped here twice, once just for ice cream which was delicious and the second time for something sweet. We bought Zalabia balls in chocolate. Great. We got a taste of the other products, all great. And the prices? Cool. (Original) Malinkatý podnik, ale určitě stojí za návštěvu. Zmrzlina a teplé dezerty. A ceny? Super.
