Restaurant
Yaffa Knafeh is a relaxed and rustic restaurant in Jaffa, known for its traditional pastry dishes such as knafeh and baklava. One of their new desserts is knafeh baked over coals, topped with a handmade pistachio and white chocolate popsicle, offering a creamy and crunchy texture with roasted pistachio pieces. The charming place also offers delightful Mediterranean delights.
Come here for an experience to remember! Some of the most delicious knafeh and baklawa I've ever had! Such a cute location, in the heart of Shuk Hapishpishim in Yafo. Surrounded by a vibrant nightlife, this is the spot to be. Their tea, coffee, and my personal favorite, Sahlab, is all delicious. You can even watch them preparing the knafeh to order right there. Go, you won't be disappointed.
Shaya K — Google review
Knafeh was quite average in my opinion. Syrup was tasteless, ratio of kadayif to cheese was wrong (too little kadayif), and the ice cream wasn’t that special. Well cooked however! The service was not there really - we brought them to table. Wouldn’t visit again.
Ermis M — Google review
Always saw the huge queue and never dared to wait, until tonight, when there was no line at all. Well, I guess what they say is true - it's delicious! I still don't think anything is worth such a long wait but, up to you. The Knaffe with ice cream and pistachio is great, and the service is food. The place itself is very small without much space to sit except a few high chairs. Recommend!
Oh G — Google review
I had never had Knafeh before this but wow was i impressed!! Dont be intimated non-Israelis, it might look a little strange but its a 10/10 dessert and this place does it right! Customer service was awesome also and they spoke great English to me so i felt super comfortable. Grab you some Knafeh then head to the beach and youve got yourself a perfect time!
Levi R — Google review
Nice place. Very good Knafeh. And the Turkish ice cream is delicious!! I recommend also to try the baklava with ice cream inside it. Plus the Turkish tea. Usually there's a long waiting line outside because the place is really small, but it's worth the wait. The Knafeh is served hot in personal dish and made instantly. Recommend for sure!
Nariman L — Google review
If you like sweets, you have to try Knafeh here. It is said to be one of the best Knafeh in Tel Aviv. Hard for me to say since I don't have a comparison. But it was very delicious yet. You don't usually have ice cream with Knafeh but they serve it here with ice cream, it was delicious. Kind of like Brownie & ice cream or Apfelstrudel & ice cream.
Mary L — Google review
Perfection! The best desert you will eat in Jaffa (heck, even in Tel Aviv). This knafeh really stands out from many others with deep, rich flavors and awesome Turkish pistachio icecream. Plus more grounded pistachio on top to boost the effect. Quite-good baklava comes second though. Be aware how popular the place is, meaning queues during weekends and evenings can be mind blowing. So go there during working week mid-day and have a hustle free delicious experience. I also suggest to skip the (mediocre) black coffee for an excellent tea.
Michael O — Google review
Wow the best Knafeh in Tel Aviv.. perfect taste and all the dishes are lovely. Open late at night will be also an advantage. Open everyday. Good staffs and this is a new place of the old classic famous Yaffa Knafeh but bot crowded as the old one. Spacious and well maintained place. Should try if you visit Jaffa. Kids will love it also everyone :)

Juice shop
Tamara is a delightful gem nestled at the intersection of Ben-Gurion Boulevard and Dizengoff shopping street, renowned for its vibrant selection of fresh juices, smoothies, and fruit-based treats. This beloved juice stall offers everything from refreshing acai bowls to unique flavors like pomegranate ice cream. But that's not all—Tamara also boasts some of the best frozen yogurt in Tel Aviv, attracting both locals and international visitors alike.
Highly recommended!! Small fresh fruits kiosks in the middle of the main street in Tel Aviv. Open 24 hours! Fresh fruits and vegetables cold pressed, smoothies, and smoothie bowl serve here. Very nice staff. No queue in weekdays morning but very long queue in Saturday (weekends here). Carrot mix green apple juice is the best **Have English menu**
Kuna P — Google review
This is one of my absolute favorite places to stop in Tel Aviv! It's open until 2am 6 nights a week. The line can be long, but it's so good, so everybody comes for another, but it's well with the wait! Freshest smoothies I've ever had
Josh S — Google review
Super tasty and fresh juice stand in a crowd city center location. I really like this place and there so many delicious options. It’s open 24/7 and that cool.. my highlight is the Açaí with fruits and granola.
Niv S — Google review
Tamara in the heart of Tel Aviv is an absolute gem and hands down the best juice bar you will ever experience. It’s not just a juice stand—it’s a beautifully designed little oasis right in the middle of the street, sitting perfectly on the island between two lanes, giving it an incredibly unique vibe that you won’t find anywhere else. The moment you see it, you’re drawn in by its charm, its energy, and the sheer variety of fresh, vibrant flavors that await. The selection here is mind-blowing. Whether you’re in the mood for a fresh-pressed juice, a thick and creamy smoothie, or even their homemade ices and ice creams, Tamara delivers perfection in every single cup and every single bite. You get to customize everything—choose your base, pick your toppings, mix flavors however you like, and every combination is guaranteed to taste incredible. The prices? Beyond reasonable, especially for the unparalleled quality you’re getting. You’re not just paying for juice—you’re getting an experience, one that is crafted with the freshest ingredients, bursting with natural flavors, and made with care. It’s the kind of place where every sip is refreshing, every bite of their frozen treats feels like a little taste of summer, and you leave feeling completely satisfied. And the best part? They’re open until 2 AM. Yes, you read that right. If you’re craving something refreshing, something delicious, something natural and energizing at any hour of the day or night, Tamara is there for you. Whether you’re just starting your day, taking a mid-afternoon break, or need a late-night energy boost, you’ll find exactly what you need here. It’s no surprise that this spot has become an icon in Tel Aviv, loved by locals and visitors alike. Every single item on the menu is a treat, from their perfectly balanced juices to their rich and creamy smoothies, to their signature ice creams and fruit-based frozen treats that feel like summer in every bite. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately fall in love with, the kind of place you make a part of your daily routine, and the kind of place that makes you wish every city had a Tamara of its own. The combination of unbelievable flavors, fresh ingredients, and a location that’s as charming as it gets makes this an absolute must-visit. If you’re in Tel Aviv, you have to stop by. If you live in Tel Aviv, you probably already know—this is the place for fresh juices and smoothies. It’s more than just a juice stand, it’s a one-of-a-kind experience, and once you try it, you’ll never want to go anywhere else.
Avigdor W — Google review
The best juice, smoothie and acai place in Tel Aviv. Don't waste your time at any others. All of the fruit and veg are fresh and in season (if you go in the fall and you want watermelon, you're out of luck as it's not in season). Almond milk base is an extra 2 shekels and adding peanut butter is an extra 5 shekels. Don't be intimidated by the line, it moves fast and it's worth the short wait!
Phil P — Google review
Lovely place for fruits, justices, shakes and more... can get busy with a long line of people waiting sometimes but in general worth it

Shakes are really nice. However the staff is very messy. And quite expensive.

Ice cream shop
Anita is a must-visit spot in Tel Aviv, offering indulgent gelato flavors that will tempt your taste buds. Whether you prefer classic options like vanilla or chocolate, or something more unique like poached pears in wine, Anita has generous scoops of both classic and original flavors. The lively atmosphere makes it a popular weekend destination, especially with its hard-to-find flavors like mint chocolate chip.
100% goodness. There are so many chocolate-related flavors. I had to seek help from the staff before making up my mind. Thankfully, the wonderful girl behind the counter offered lot of good advice. 1. The sugar-free chocolate flavor is not unsweetened but uses “fake sugar”, so not recommended. 2. The cookie flavor is a favorite. 3. Taste for yourself! I am so blissful to be offered a large spoonful (almost as large as half of a scoop) of cookie and dark chocolate flavors each. 😊 Indeed, the cookie flavor is phenomenal. It is more special than the dark chocolate flavor (even the color is darker) and tastes like melted dark black cookies of Oreo. Even better, crushed cookie pieces are present in every lick of the ice-cream, offering a sophisticated texture full of surprises. I also picked banna and dates, a more local flavor. Falling on the sorbet side, it is fluffy and light and resembles the Naked date and banana juice I have drank before. Very refreshing, not artificial. I gratefully received a half-half cup with two flavors.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are super friendly and the service is amazing. You can really tell they serve with heart — the portions are generous and the ice cream selection is fantastic. So many delicious flavors to choose from, and the prices are very fair. It's a great spot to sit and relax, both inside and outside. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality ice cream and good vibes!
Yevgeniy K — Google review
Best ice-cream I have ever had!!! What a lucky find! Your mouth will start watering when you enter. They have so many delicious flavours to choose from! I love the Salted Cashew!! We even went back the next day to try it again. The staff are also super friendly and helped with loads of tastings! 😁
Elaine E — Google review
Superb icecreams. I would eat them all. The white chocolate with pistachio flavor made me touch heaven. My favourite ice cream shop for sure.
Pau E — Google review
Ice cream is amazing to be honest! Pretty much the same store and flavors as Golda (though a bit more expensive). The nougat type flavors (white & dark chocolate with pistachio, as well as their banana and date flavor were awesome. Service is rather impersonal - try to have a look at that. Give it a go!
Ermis M — Google review
Delicious ice cream. With over 30 flavours on offer, the ice cream here is some of the best that I've tasted anywhere in Israel.

Vegan restaurant
Cafe
Anastasia is a popular vegan eatery located in the lively Dizengoff area of Tel Aviv. The light-filled restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor terrace seating, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The menu features a variety of plant-based options including vegan sandwiches, salads, pastas, and desserts. One of the highlights is the indulgent Israeli breakfast which includes a chickpea omelet and almond cheeses as substitutes for traditional egg dishes and dairy products.
Good food. Relaxed ambience. Nice service. I brought here a guest from France and he and I really enjoyed the experience. Get your reservation in early. The onion pie was delicious! I highly recommend it. The service was friendly and courteous. The outdoor seating area is comfortable and fantastic on a good evening. They also offer all sorts of vegan goodies for sale at the counter. The bathroom are clean and tidy. I would recommend that the management improve access for the disabled.

I ate there in several occasions as well as ordered take away to work. There wasn't one time that the food felt fresh, and all in all they don't match the standard of other restaurants (especially vegan ones) in Tel Aviv :/ It's a shame because the dishes sound great, but in reality what u get is kinda disappointing.

All vegan menu, creative dishes, great atmosphere and service. The cheese platter is so tasty, some of the cheese are tastier than dairy cheese (the pecan Bree is AMAZING). All ingredients were fresh and it seemed like the chefs put a lot of creative thought into building the perfect, well rounded dishes. Highly recommend even if you are not vegan at all! This is a great vegan restaurant with relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious service. It has a small dining room, an enclosed patio and an outdoors one. There are 5 stairs leading to the front door. Service was very accommodating. We requested a table by the window (that was not available when we arrived) and were moved once o e became available. The various dishes were of high quality, tasted great and were visually attractive. No customer was hurried to leave after their meal even when they were busy. A very satisfying and enjoyable meal. They also have shelving with various foods for takeout (see photos).

On a short visit to Israel, my daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Anastasia. Food was excellent, service was very friendly and prices were comparable to most other vegan restaurants we visited during this trip. They were very busy at 10pm and we had to wait a while for a table, reservations are advised. Highly recommended.

So far, my favourite vegan restaurant. It’s located in a main area. The menu is completely vegan and also offers gluten free options. They have quite a large variety of delicious food. The soba salad is especially good. The dishes are a bit overpriced, but not exceptional compared to other restaurants in Tel Aviv.
Saray — Google review
Amazing food, vegan done right, fresh ingredients cooked perfectly, with just the right balance of flavors. They have a vegan cheese plate that's just perfect. And a vegan cheese cake that is simply one of the best cheese cakes I've ever eaten, vegan or not... So I highly recommend this place, also the waters are lovely, and were very helpful with suggestions on what to pick. 🧀 🍰

NOLA American Bakery is a charming vintage-style bakery with a touch of New York nostalgia. The interior boasts classic checkerboard floors and a cozy atmosphere, while the outdoor patio and shaded garden offer additional seating options. Owner Talya Rasner draws inspiration from her American roots and her mother's cookbooks to create nostalgic treats for American expats.
My favourite place for brunch. The food is always amazing (they do great vegan options too), good service and environment. There's loads of space inside and in the indoor balcony area, and there's also an outdoor garden seating area at the back.

One of my favorite cafes in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is one of the best too find in town and so consistent. One of the best coffees that can be found. Desserts are a hit or miss but the food is excellent!
Dani L — Google review
The most expensive sandwich, the Bacon Egg and Cheese. It’s a fine sandwich, but for almost $20 (Basically 3 times the price of the USA) the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. The bagel is good. Little bit of cheese and the bit there is is pre melted and crispy. With only 2 pieces of soggy bacon and a fried egg. Genuinely trying to figure out why it costs this much. I would recommend get something else or just make it at home. I would be more willing to just quietly pay if it looked more like the photo lol.
Arielle P — Google review
What a great place in the heart of Tel-Aviv!! You can sit outside and do some people watching, or inside to escape the heat, or in the back patio if you want to smoke after your meal. Great and friendly staff, that was quick and not pushy. The bagels looked so good, so I had to try it and ordered a roast beef bagel. Slices of beef, slaw and a spicy mustard, on a bagel. Great sandwich! Could use some more beef, but the flavor combo, which is not new, was done correctly and it was delicious. Also had a Nola breakfast. Two eggs, salad, hash browns, cream cheese, avocado, and a bagel. The portion was generous and everything was good. Except for the hash brown. It was probably made in a large batch and than they cut and reheat the portion on a griddle. At least that's how it tastes. It was too dense and didn't have those classic pointy potato ends that crisp up when you fry it. I also got a Nola cocktail, with OJ, whiskey and honey. It was pretty good. Definitely a nice change from the classic mimosa or bloody Mary for breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back here for brunch, or lunch, or anytime of the day.
Gadi Y — Google review
We really liked the atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, fast and professional. The food is extremely good, and you should definitely have a look at their patisserie before you blindly order something. .. For us this place was a wonderful start into the day.

When I think about a good breakfast in Tel Aviv, Nola is always the first option! The quality of the food is amazing, everything is always fresh, their coffee is super delicious and desserts are definitely a must try! The service is quick even though the place is almost always packed. Love this place! ❤️
Hanna P — Google review
Truly well done American style breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits! The bacon is actually well cooked and crispy. My wife had the hashbrowns which were also tasty but not exactly what I would expect. The desserts are the real reason to come to NOLA. We had the mud pie which was absolutely amazing.

The bakery offers fresh baguettes and French pastries, but also features a flourless holiday display including a Fraisier Cake with layers of strawberries and brandy, as well as a Lemon Polenta Cake topped with cre fraiche.
Love the place. Fantastic almond croissant, I'm kind of addicted. I tried the little bacon sandwiches and they were lovely, with this nice mustard sauce, cutting through. Coffee isn't anything special, it's alright. I recommend you give it a shot.

I came here early morning for the first time and it was great surprise. high quality bakery with many fantastic options.. cookies, cakes, pastries and sandwiches. I ate the Chocolate halva pastry and it was so so tasty ! the coffee also was hot and extremely good, exactly how I like it ! the place is very busy in the morning time, service was very welcome and friendly. You should visit this place..

I’ve been a regular here, but after my last visit I won’t be coming back. On a busy Friday morning I ordered a sandwich and a cold coffee (42₪). When my 2-year-old saw my coffee, she asked for a bit of milk. The staff gave me mixed answers - first I was told I needed to line up again to order, after lining up I was told that it wasn’t necessary, and finally the manager stepped in and charged 7₪ for a splash of milk. The rigid attitude and lack of basic customer care over something so small left a really bad impression. Unfortunately, that was my last time here 😔

Near kikar hamidina is Bakery. I think it is a little pretentious , they have a range of cakes and pastries at the usual Tel-Aviv prices. I ordered coffee and a small pastry that cost nis 24. There is a sitting area where you can sit and enjoy your meal or pastry.

Night Kitchen is a trendy restaurant in Tel Aviv that offers craft cocktails and Mediterranean dishes. The quirky decor and patio add to its hip, young, and casual vibe. The restaurant's tasting menu is a steal compared to the high prices in Israel, offering endless dishes such as Bulgarian bread with spreads, tomato confit carpaccio, gnocchi, eggplant spread, and ice cream cre brulee pops.
I sat with three other friends here on Wednesday and we just had the most amazing experience! The staff is incredible the food is WOW. I will definitely be coming back! I recommend 5/5

Overall had a great time here. We sat at the bar so they gave us free shots which was fun. We paid 220 per person for 3 drinks, 3 starters, 2 mains, and 2 desserts. The food was great though I wouldn’t recommend the acorn starter is was kind of plain. The fried cheese was amazing!

We went for a family dinner over Friday 4 ppl, we took the set menu for ₪200 per person and it was sooo vfm! The food was great and delicious, we had so many options and a big selection for everyone. The staff were very friendly and kind.

This was my last meal in Tel Aviv. We were a party of 9 without a reservation, but we waited and they accommodated. Oh my goodness! Night Kitchen was a unique experience, the food was spectacular. The staff were super patient with all of us in explaining how they operate, it took some time for our group to understand how the menu work. Basically, they ask questions about our likes and dislikes and bring us continious yummy food. My goodness we all left satisfied and amazed. In addition, the table next to us were buying shots for us to celebrate a birthday. Night Kitchen is MUST if you are in Tel Aviv! I am sure you will enjoy.

Fantastic vibe! We went to the backyard tables, the service was one of the best in the country, so joyful and professional! I can say that the concept is super interesting and you can see the beautiful creativity from the chef in every dish! Highly recommend it!

Went with friend visiting Israel. Great restaurant to meet up with friends and still be able to talk over a good meal. Food was good. Drink options were good, even had nice non-alcoholic cocktails. Pictures from March 2022.

Absolutely 5 stars. Service is cute, cocktails are superb (Arak & thyme —> don’t miss it). Food is delicious. Be careful not to order too much. I’d say around 5 things for 2 people is sufficient. The happy hours - from 6-7 Pm - is a great option. We left full and spend ~40eur per person.

Probably the best food I have ever had. The food is simply amazing. We took three starters, two main dishes, and one dessert + lollipops. They were all very very good. The service was friendly and relaxed, and atmosphere is great. The music could be less loud, otherwise it's almost perfect.

With a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors, Meshek Barzilay presents an eclectic array of dishes from both eastern and western culinary traditions.
Food was absolutely incredible. The espresso martini was so delicious. Perfect place for a nice date. Sitting outside was lovely. 10/10 would recommend. Note : the “entree” list are also like appetizer portions. Get lots of dishes to share.

As the vegan restaurant goes, cheese for the Greek salad was replaced and changed the texture, not as expected, but seasoning was good. Steak was surprisingly good considering it was 3d printed. Enjoyed the cashew labane a lot!

Amazing gem in the midst of Neve Tsedek. Quiet, pedestrian, secluded and peaceful. The food is vegan, fresh, special, colorful and sooooo tasty. The waitresses and the hostess were so friendly. And the price very affordable. We highly recommend it.
Olivia E — Google review
I’ve had incredible vegan food before, so I have high expectations and this place didn’t meet them. It was decent, but I’m not running to go back. The best part is the atmosphere on the patio outside, if you like plants. The service was the worst of all. After not being greeted and waiting to be seated for several minutes, I finally asked someone for assistance. After sitting down, I was ignored for 10 minutes. Several waitresses passed by me; none of them offered to bring me a menu or water. At some point, I went inside to get someone’s attention, and one of the waitresses literally skirted into the kitchen after making eye contact with me—really weird! The food did arrive at my table quickly, however. It baffles me that a bowl of tahini spread would not come with bread—they make you buy it separately. This is Israel, a.k.a., the Middle East, where a meal is not complete without bread.
Shayna K — Google review
We had such a wonderful time!! The food was amazing and the staff was so nice. Totally recommend going there! The food options were very unique as well. The texture of the cheese in the greek salad was fantastic, the foccacia warm and fresh, the labneh had a tangy taste to it, the sauce of the gnocchi was creamy and comforting. Would go there again for sure😍
Naomi E — Google review
For non-vegans, this food was excellent!! Loved the risotto and the “steak” chunk. Delicious mashed potatoes too. Also loved the cocktails! Friendly and helpful waitstaff. Highly recommend!
Rachel F — Google review
Food was not that amazing. We ordered 4 appetizers, two of them were way too salty for my taste (tofu and mushrooms). Service was great at the beginning but it started to go down the hill until the end. We had a table very close to another table at the point that was hard for me to stand up because behind me was another person at the neighbor table. Deserts were ok, matcha ice cream had no flavor. Our waitress disappeared at some point so I had to ask someone else to get our bill. When we got our bill we were asked if we would like a complimentary drink at which we said yes for whiskey…and guess what?! It never came. When we left, the same lady said goodbye to us. So unfortunately not a great experience!

Its not too hearty and cheap but it has nice ring to it, interesting menu, definitely a vegans hot spot. Meals are not big but still you leave rather well eaten. Flavors are good. Service is maybe one step behind to what it could be but it doesn’t take away from the experience.

The restaurant also serves Sachlev, a warm cinnamon-y custard available only during winter, as well as a unique rose-flavored beer.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tel Aviv, Bana is a trendy eatery that redefines plant-based dining. Diners can indulge in unique offerings like charcoal turmeric bread and stuffed zucchini with squash and fig, all while sipping on refreshing cocktails or local wines. The experience is enhanced by beautifully presented dishes that are bursting with flavor, making ethical eating an exciting adventure.
I strongly recommend! Dishes are really big and generous, prices are good. The service was warm and nice. Unfortunately, we got our drinks only after the dishes but not too bad. The cauliflower dish was AMAZING. It’s served cold, so don’t think the dish is not warm. That the way it’s supposed to be. Would definitely come again!

Everything was super delicious!! 😍 their menu is very tasty. We had the bread (great), the beetroot carpaccio (very good), the oyster mushrooms (very good), the special of the day (whole cauliflower with labne) -wonderful! Ice cream shop
Otello is a popular ice cream spot in Tel Aviv known for its homemade ice cream and chocolate. They are recognized for filling their cones with warm chocolate before adding the ice cream, creating a delightful treat that keeps locals coming back. The 80% gelato, 20% chocolate rule at Otello ensures that even after finishing the gelato, you're left with a cone filled with flowing milk and white chocolate from their fountains.
I came to this shop because of its slogan “80% gelato, 20% chocolate”. Even though I don’t like the concept of vegans, I chose the vegan Ivory Coast extra dark chocolate gelato instead of the Vietnam dark chocolate gelato because the former is 5% darker. I usually eat 100% dark chocolate, so personally, the 69% extra dark gelato tastes like some not-too-sweet milk chocolate. It still has a more sophisticated taste can many other chocolate ice cream I’ve had. The coffee one is not as strong as an espresso-flavored one would be, but tastes like Israeli ice coffee in a nice way and the hint of chocolate distinguishes it from my first scoop. The crushed almonds add layers to the silky and sticky ice cream. Overall, I would recommend flavors both flavors. They are not too big, not too sweet, and not too heavy. Perhaps I’ll give other flavors a try as well. Service can be a little confusing due to the crowd and long working hours..
X — Google review
If you eat ice cream there, don't expect homemade ice cream. Despite this, the "industrial" ice creams aren't bad. Of the ice cream options in Tel Aviv, you can eat well, and they also have good service. There are relatively few flavors to choose from.

Great ice cream. A bit pricey though, and I have had not so great service with them. They are still definitely better than other ice cream shops in tel aviv.

Now I know why so many people like it. Pistashio was salty but great. Mango was devine. The tosted almonds were perfect. Only advice is not to process the pecans to a powder. Small bits will give much better flavour. Service and presantation were simply perfect. Nice and clean inside and out. Has a bathroom too. I will be back to try other flavours. Thank you.

Anita is a popular spot with several locations, including one in the trendy neighborhood of Neve Tzedek. It's the sister of Anita Ice Cream and offers a lighter version with unique toppings. The yogurt comes in various flavors, including a vegan option made with acai, and special toppings like pomegranate seeds, halva, and toasted pecans.
The best ice cream in the area!! Has everything that makes an ice cream place worth visiting: plenty of flavors both "standard" and exotic - including the must-have salted caramel; ice cream tastes "fresh" and not overly preserved; and of course freshly made cones. This place is MUCH better than Golda (the dominant ice cream chain in Israel) simply because Anita's ice cream tastes better and doesn't taste like it was made purely of sugar (although I'm sure there's plenty of sugar in there). There aren't many seats available inside but you want to take it and walk the Sarona area anyways.
Amir H — Google review
Amazing ice cream, I think it is better than Buza or Otello. The cheesecake literally tasted like cream cheese, while the salted cashew beside the great flavour had multiple cashew chunks. You can ask for half portions, which means you can taste 2 flavours in a small cup which is still pretty sizable. The smallest cup costs 20 NIS, and the service is super kind. They have multiple locations make sure to check them out when you are in Tel-Aviv ;)
Viktor L — Google review
Ice cream is too sweet and industrial-style. The flavors are far from what ice cream at this price should be. The place is pleasant, and the service is good.
Daniel W — Google review
I didn’t even buy anything when I was here. I walked in to take a look at this place and found myself hearing about the history of the place and their relationship with the Golda ice cream chain from one of the workers there. He was glad to be telling me their story and I witnessed what a good place to work this must be if the workers have such a connection to the place. When we informed them we were not intending to get any ice cream, they gave each of us a very generous spoon of a flavor of our choice and kindly said they hoped to see us again. I’ve had their ice cream before, it’s wonderful, as is their staff apparently.

Food was excellent! The ambiance and atmosphere were great, ended up staying 4 hours at our table, ordering a big selection off the menu. I normally stay away from eating sushi and raw fish in israel, but I must say, it was good and fresh. Will go again for sure in the future!

High class, fancy place. Pretty good value for money. The food is very good, especially the "crudu" dishes. Sizes are OK. Service should definitely get better though, in a place like this you shouldn't ask several times for the same thing or get an attitude from a waitress for requesting.

A great restaurant in the heart of the city. Quality food, good vibe, great service, and fair prices for what you get. The place is well designed, few areas to sit - on the bar, inside or outdoors. Excellent Vietnamese food! I came here with a large group and we all loved everything. I tried the beef banh and fish banh—both delicious steamed buns. Lots of flavor, fish was crunchy, beef was soft (both good things). It also didn’t feel overly expensive. Definitely a must-try!

Vong is a wonderful and special place with great service and awesome food! We had a Vietnamese Beach dish and it was above all our expectations! We love Asian food and consider ourselves quite the experts in this field, and we were most pleasantly surprised by rich yet delicate, complex yet refined taste of this dish. Then we had a perfectly brewed cup of coffee with mango mousse served with white chocolate and passionflower syrup on coconut meringue base and it was also delightful and very refreshing. We strongly recommend this place to everyone who loves and understands Asian cuisine! UPDATE! We went there again and wasn't disappointed! The food was delicious (this time we had two hottest noodle dishes, and they were totally different but superb in taste), the desserts were made in Heaven, really, we don't remember tasting something as delicate, balanced and rich as these desserts. We were especially delighted by their professional, fast, considerate and extremely friendly service. Good service is rather hard to find here in Israel, but in Vong it was exceptionally grand! Now Vong is one of our favorite restaurants and we heartily recommend this place to everyone!

Breakfast restaurant
Located in bustling Rothschild avenue, Benedict is a popular spot known for its round-the-clock breakfast and weekend brunches. The menu features a variety of eggs benedicts, fluffy pancakes, bagel sandwiches, and cocktails. With multiple locations across Israel, including one at Rothchild and Allenby and another in Hertzillya, Benedict has become synonymous with breakfast in the country.
Beautiful and cozy place on a busy alley. You can sit inside and outside and to order a queue on the website of all restaurants in their "network". Pleasant staff to deal with. Soft music. It’s a pity there were no blankets, my wife was a little cold (in winter it’s obvious, but even in summer air conditioners often work like refrigerators. It wasn’t very cold here, but just as an idea for development it would be nice to do). I took "Shrimps with eggs Benedict" + craft beer and my wife a "Salmon with potato" from the Special menu + mint-honey-ginger-tea. Beer and tea are like beer and tea, just normal... But the food was very tasty. I would say that for a long time I have not eaten not just a large portion of something +/- tasty, but... something really very tasty: Shrimps were in a croissant and in combination with an egg gave a pleasant soft slightly sweet taste of shrimp. An unusually made potato with salmon, egg and a good vegetable salad also seemed to taste good. And very hearty. So much so that the ordered pistachio pancake had to be taken home for tea. If I could find fault with something in this place, it was only with the mentioned before blankets because of the air conditioners and the fact that they didn’t bring honey to the "tea with honey" at first, we had to remind about it. But it's so minor, this is a great place with no less great cuisine. Prices? ...perhaps normal. There is a photo of the menu.

Good breakfast place on a Saturday morning. They have some very nice dishes that are worth waiting for. The problem is the wait. They don't take reservations like any normal restaurant, which means that you have to wait around a very long time sometimes. This does not benefit the customer or the establishment. Best to reconsider this policy. What do you say Benedict?

Benedict, located on Rothschild Boulevard, holds a special place in my heart. Serving breakfast 24/7, it's a haven for early birds and night owls alike. The bakery offers an impressive selection of freshly baked breads, including soft pitas topped with eggs and cheese, as well as flaky bourekas that are perfect for snacking.
The soft bread and varieties! One of the best bakeries I believe it’s in the old city. We were taken here by our tour guide, we tried the bread baked stuffed bread/bun with cheese and tomato sauce. The bread was so soft and fluffy but the inside was not our favorite flavor. They had so many varieties will Have to go again to take other items.

It is sad to see this place loose its dignity. I gave it a try this morning with the hopes that it would feel different but the dishonesty was prevalent. I was not over charged but it felt wrong to hand me my food with unclean hands. Lastly, the kids did not like what I brought which seals the deal for me. Sorry.

Place is located next to the Clock Tower. Tourists are everywhere so the price is quite high. Pastries are mostly fresh, but not everything tastes super good. Close to the beach, promenade and old city all around you. Open even late in the evening.

Not good - I went here after reading a few blogs that recommended it but I should have checked the reviews first. I got a pistachio croissant because it looked pretty but unfortunately the flavor didn’t match the appearance. The bread was stale and the pistachio cream didn’t have any flavor. :(

Holy mother of Bakery! A friend who used to go here with his parents as a little child guided me here for a big girl bakery experience. I was here at 7 am (they seem to be open 24 hours) and had it all to myself. The guys were grumpy and I would be too if I had the late shift but the food was incredible. My mouth is watering and I wish I wasn't miles away!

It is expensive! $5 for a single pastry is a lot. Yet, it is fresh, hot and tasty good. They are very kind and will explain whatever you ask. We took the pizza samboosaq and the potatoes one. Was perfect to start the day with

So many options, almost everything is good. Service was fast and friendly, ask them to heat your food so it tastes even better. Baked goods are all available from the street. Go inside to see some Turkish treats.

A Jaffa institution. Full of a huge selection of pastries and treats that are baked fresh in their brick ovens. I love their sambousaks and their donuts but in my opinion, they have the best toasts in the city!

Restaurant
Aria is a two-story bar and restaurant in Manhattan that offers a unique combination of fine dining, craft cocktails, and live music. The ground floor lounge features a rich cocktail bar and dishes from the chef's kitchen, while the upstairs fine-dining restaurant provides a full dinner menu alongside craft cocktails. The lounge space circles the DJ booth where top local and international DJs perform, creating an upscale atmosphere for guests to enjoy dinner, drinks, and live performances.
We celebrated a birthday and it was really a great experience. The food was super delicious and creative, the food presentation was beautiful! The cocktails we chose were very tasty and special. The staff were amazingly kind & super professionals. The restaurant is located in an old historic building of TLV, which is beautiful and adds to the great atmosphere. This is definitely a restaurant I would highly recommend when visiting Tel-Aviv. My family & I will definitely return for more tasty food & great ambience!!

We took a lot of the dishes most of them were really good and innovative the service was excellent and there is a wide variety of wine. It's an upscale restaurant and the prices reflect that also. Would definitely recommend if interested in good Israeli cuisine

Really high quality restaurant! (+) The "LAGHMAN" was amazing. (-) The steam dumplings dish wasn't tasty. Prices are very high. (-) It took a little too long for the dishes to arrive.

Great food, for Friday night need to order table. The place look Very nice and beautiful. The dishes very Expensive but tasty. They have gluten free dishes. Some dishes very small, ask the waiters about it. The service very good. Bottom line if you want nice place, good food and don't care how much it cost.

Visited the restaurant upstairs. Great building and really nice atmosphere. The food was amazing! We ended up eating a meal of starters, since they sounded delicious and diverse, which ended up being a good decision. Also, the starters cost like mains anywhere else - another thing to consider. The Kuki San Jacque were heavenly, and so was the shrimp bun (more of a grilled cheese). The duck liver - delicious. Cocktails were really good too. Dessert wise - I would recommend the chocolate nemesis. We found the cheesecake pretty blend, and the semifredo a bit too ambitious. 4 starters, 4 glasses of cocktails, 2 mains + tip - around 330 shekel per person.

It pains me to say, but this experience left much to be desired. The lack of seasoning, flavor and personable service...made this dining out a bit lack luster. Let's start with the good, i was seated quickly and my first course was amazing! I was a little concerned when they didn't have tuna and instead served me palamida (bonitos) fish. But it was well seasoned and buttery, a true delight and I though a sign of what was to come... But alas, not so. My next course the scallops... While Cooked perfectly, lacked seasoning as well as it's sides. The next dish, the shrimp showed promise but again lacked seasoning. I enjoyed the middle east flavor but it was in serious need of Salt! Lol i did like the raisins...not sure if they were fermented or what, they were a nice sour surprise to the dish. Now on to the service. The food came out fast, but i was the only person at the bar and the bartender didn't initiate any convo...i was a little disappointed. Sometimes it's nice to have a little banter in between courses! I didn't even stay for dessert! Which says a lot! Lol. Overall a 3.7 is what I'd rate. Maybe you'll have better luck!

Altho there was no parking alongside the restaurant , i parked 2 min away , I came to a wonderful place . A classy restaurant , the atmosphere is great . very good care by the staff , always got attention by the waiters . wide veriety of wine About the food , A Middle Eastern restaurant , touch of Turkish - Persian . All the dishes came fast , anfter the starters came the main and was warm . Beautifully plated with a unique taste It is a chef's restaurant , you wont expect less. Every dish was tasty , every dish has its own personality . I do recommend this restaurant and give it 5 stars. A must try !

One of the best meals I had in a while. The service was wonderful. The cocktails were very tasty and went great with the food. And now the food...there were 4 of us so we got to taste a lot of the starter dishes and they all were so so good. My personal favorites were the Shishbarak ,the smoked fish bruschetta and the white fish tartare. The entrees were very good, meat dishes cooked to perfection. Now it's not cheap by any means, but is highly recommend for special occasions or if you just want to treat yourself with a really great foodie experience

If you're on the lookout for a delightful culinary experience, Landwer Café is a must-visit destination. Known for its signature dish, the Rozalach—a creative take on Israeli Rugelach—this pastry is filled with Nutella and baked to perfection in a pizza oven, then finished off with a sprinkle of confectioners sugar. Recently, they’ve introduced an exciting vegan version featuring Lotus Biscoff spread instead of chocolate, making it accessible to all dessert lovers.
Today I was in vacation and decided to pay visit to Café Landwer. I got a nice and delicious breakfast on the terrace. The personnel was nice and work politely. Toilet room was clean. I enjoyed very much!

Yeah, location is good but thats about it. Food in best case is average, service is barely able to bring out things and to serve the customers, missing items from the menu, the boneless chicken look old and tasted like nothing really.
Kris T — Google review
First of all, the waitress was horrible, very dismissive and ignored us most of the time even though It was literally empty in the place in the afternoon. The food was horrible, I ordered the chicken with rice in sweet sauce it was so overbearing and soaked in the sweet sauce no balance to the food and not good at all, but on top of all of that there was a dead FLY in my rice. We called the shift manager over, he again dismissed it laughed it off and said sorry, asked if i wanted anything, at this point i was disappointed of everything so i didn’t want anything from the kitchen. At least he took it off the bill. But I’m never coming back. Terrible experience.

.What ever you do, Don't get in .The service is below expectations. The food is okay, but for a pizza for the kids we had to wait over an hour!!! when they didn't even have the decency to say they were wrong and didn't put out the order I recommend to all of you, there is a huge selection of restaurants in the area, try others. It is important to me to say that this does not reflect the entire Landwer chain. In most places the service and food are amazing, but not at Tel Aviv Port
Tomer F — Google review
It was ok, we just wanted drinks, but I wanted beer. The menu had beers, the waitress said there are only 2 kind of beers, and after asking the bartender I learned there is no beers! So not great overall but its only a beer experience 😅
Nadav R — Google review
It was my second time here, but I was disappointed again First time - I was with my mom and I’ve asked several times if their shakshuka is spicy or not because of medical requirements. They said that it’s not. Guess what? It was. And they say that they could do nothing about it because this is how they have it. Aright though Yesterday - they said that there was a stuff shortage because 3 of their waiters didn’t come to the shift. It caused a long waiting time which was kind of fine. When we got the order, we noticed that there were some missing items in it comparing to the menu. When we asked about it the answer was - we just don’t have it now. Hmm. Why not to say it beforehand? Why not to remove these positions from the bill? Generally speaking, they have tasty food and great view, but for the price bigger than average you might get a list of inconveniences. So I don’t say to never to go there, but be ready that something might be wrong

Located at the of heart of the small promanade at the hip tel aviv.s port, overlooking what once served as a marina this is one of the busiest spots to stop.for a coffee or brunch. Its crowded, busy, buzzing.. the service is decent considering the clients are never going to be regulars.. the human traffic here can get chaotic.. its the typical Landwer chain.s menue, food is average and so are the desserts. An option amonst many other coffee places, if theres no que, by all means, enter.
Hila O — Google review
I'll just let the picture speak for itself, this dish (chicken breast) had cost us 63 shekels, and the other 4 dishes we received look more or less the same. When queried the shift manager about the size, he told that it's the standard size of the dish - 120gr chicken and 100gr rice. Horrible place, do not give this business your money.

The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the interesting menu. So many lovely dishes crafted from unusual combinations (for example, calamari and black beans, cauliflower with anchovy sauce) make for an exciting meal. You need to order about 3 dishes per person so with drinks the bill is a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

An amazing dining experience! The Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy, served with freshly grated cheese straight from a giant wheel of Parmesan – both delicious and visually impressive. The service was professional, friendly, and quick, making us feel welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. Highly recommended, especially for cheese lovers!

Situated in the heart of southern Tel Aviv in the Florentine district. Choco Lulu is a great local urban restaurant with a rich and varied menu. Choose from the more traditional meat & fish dishes ( hamburger, schnitzel, grilled fish) or go for seafood, pasta or ravioli. I ate the sweet potato ravioli with parmesan cheese, it was truly delicious. Finish the meal with coffee and a huge portion of tiramisu. The restaurant itself is in an historic building that was once home to the Florentine family built in 1934. Recommend exercising dinner off with a casual walk around the historic district. You will find a fascinating collection of old & restored buildings.

This restaurant hasnt decided what she wants to be. Italian?diner? Coffee shop? Too many dishes in all kind of kitchens. And too large varity of desserts. The food was nice but not something to write home about. The onion soup had small black pieces in it . The restaurant was too noisy for us.and the lights were too bright. You should do something about the noise because it's impossible to talj that way. The dessert was good. We took the zebra.

Excellent food and service, and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices! Definitely go for the pasta and don't dismiss the lasagna (probably the best I've had so far) everything loaded with tons of cheese! Great dessert menu as well, will have to come back to try more. The only thing this place needs is a renovation, their decoration and ambiance is terrible but the food definetly makes up for it.

I must say, we came all the way from Los Angeles following countless glowing recommendations—and we were not disappointed. Everything was of the highest standard: impeccably clean, beautifully presented, and always bustling with life. The staff were warm and welcoming. A lovely young woman who turned out to be the manager sat with us outside—she was exceptionally courteous and service-oriented. When they heard it was our first visit, they surprised us with a strawberry éclair that was simply legendary. It’s heartwarming to see a place that welcomes everyone with open arms.

We paid 140 shekels for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. One was a bagel with the fish, the bagel was a few days old, like a stone. The fish was also not the freshest. Another sandwich was also not tasty, with cheese, pear and Chilli sauce. I had to throw everything. Old, bad tastes. Coffee was very middle, weak. Nice mirror and interior, though. Having lived in Israel for 7 years, I have never eaten such a bad old bagel here.

Vegan restaurant
Restaurant
Opa is a vegan restaurant in Tel Aviv led by the experimental chef Shirel Berger. The restaurant offers a unique fine dining experience with a nine-course seasonal tasting menu featuring curated, plant-based dishes. Berger is known for aging fruits and vegetables for 3-5 months to manipulate their flavors, creating intriguing tastes and textures. One of her famous dishes involves fermenting and cooking lychees in olive oil to produce an unexpected meaty flavor and texture.
Wonderful experience. It's fun to eat each serving, and get an explanation only after the plate... Enjoyed very much the fact that no dish tries to recreate non-vegan food.
Gil E — Google review
Wow where to start? Ok this is my third time visiting OPA but slightly different was this experience. This time the owner /chef shirel Berger wasn’t there this time and her sister Sharona was there ( omg they look alike 100%) Service was excellent! All the staff knew the menu inside out and gave us a great recommendation for wines. All the food that came out looked liked shirel was their plating plate by plate BUT she wasn’t. That mean another way to say that your restaurant is operating properly. First dish was the cucumber and OMG that was genius🤩 The eggplant, potato’s foam and bread, corn Shnizel, Jerusalem artichoke desert. Every bite was the perfect balance between art-flavour-creativity. So over all shirel your sister Sharona represented OPA Aboyne and beyond 🤪 Thank you for another special dinner. Will see you soon next time when we come to visit . Liran & Ayelet from dallas ❤️

Atmosphere is really great and special! Service is above the average. Drinks are great. The food was not so good - meal is not big at all, and quite pricey. About half of the dishes were repetitive (a vegetable and a salted ice cream served together). My vegan friends enjoyed the food, the rest had fun but wouldn't recommend it as a meal.
Or S — Google review
This was our second visit here, the first time we loved every single part of the meal, maybe with one exception, which is a very good ratio. This time unfortunately the ratio was a bit different.. it is understandable that in a 10 course meal you wouldn't love everything, but still it was a little disappointing. Although the different techniques that were executed in every dish were intriguing. The service and atmosphere were very nice.

This Vegan Restaurant located in downtown Tel Aviv is a Surprise! 10 Course Tasting menu-each course shared by 2 people. The creative chef follows the “Root to Stem” Philosophy where every part of the Plant is used-some very interesting Tastes-That you won’t Find elsewhere. Good job Chef 👏🏻👏🏻
Ran T — Google review
I don't care if you are vegan or not. You HAVE to try Opa. It's not just a really great concept, it is executed excellently. There is no menu, everyone gets the same courses and each one is more inspired than the last. Each dish is completely unique and the flavors are impossible to describe. That being said, they do a great job not to make the meal so obscure that it is inaccessible to the average palette. The staff are very nice, the service is great, and they all are extremely knowledgable. I can't wait to go again.
Jake M — Google review
Creative, innovative, interesting, exciting food. I'm not vegan and was amazed how rich a dinner can be using so few ingredients in so many techniques. Each dish was a journey. Highly recommended!
Idan B — Google review
Just plain fun for the tastebuds. Meticulously prepared savory dishes that flow between the different tastes. The relaxing ambience, ample personal space and very friendly service made it even better. We will be back! Note: Opa is honest about what it is and is not; it is not a place for people looking for large portions and huge meals. It is about quality.

My cousin took us here on our last day in Tel Aviv. The restaurant is in a small shopping center. There is underground parking. The shopping center is small but has high end items. Good we made a reservation eating at 2:00 PM. The place was very full. We ate outside (large patio ) and there was some inside space but that would have been very noisy. I had a salad and the others had fish. All very good. The service was good, considering how busy it was. Lots of staff. Only complaint my cousin had was it was a bit noisy. So if you want a quiet place this is not for you.

Ordered in. We had high hopes as this restaurant is well known and has a good reputation but we were so disappointed. We Ordered sea bass for 124 nis and we got two small pieces of whatever it was. Also we ordered the bolognese spaghetti for 78 nis and got a small dish with so little bolognese. The mashed potatoes wasn't creamy and had no taste to it and the salad was rather simple, I could make one just like it at home. We will definitely not order from here again. Very disappointed.

Babi was very helpful and accepted our terms in the event ,with organizing the music ,the sensetivity of people to kinds of allergies and bring them the correct dishes. The food was great and tasty ,top quality. Super recommended place. 5 stars!

Had an amazing brunch here! The Benedict was served with 2 slices of challah with salmon in the middle and it was just exquisite. Quick to seat us, quick to take our order, quick to receive the food too!

Waited 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order, waited 25 more.minutes for the drinks to come out, after reminding 5 waitresses, including the shift manager who apologized, and yet... At the end, after waiting 10 minutes for the bill, we just went out without leaving any tip. The restaurant ignored our customer service messages on Facebook (said we will be contacted by the branch, but no one approached). It was a great place, but I don't see any chance of us returning.

This is my favorite crepe spot in Tel Aviv! The crepes are always cooked to perfection, stuffed with delicious sweets, and topped with excellent quality glida :)

Poor crepe , baked well well done. It came with 2 icecream balls - salted caramel - was so sweet !!! And sugar free pistachio - was also sweet. The whipped cream wasnt tasty and feel synthetic The price is very high for this. The tabels outside were dirty and we had to clean it by my self , and it wasnt the dirty table that was. No parking around. I wont comeback.

Absolutely horrendous service!!!!! I walked in waiting patiently for someone to take my order. An extremely angry and rude russian lady yelled at the customer in front of me and then disappeared, she then came back and asked what i wanted, i started telling her which flavor my son wanted, she immediately interrupts me to start yelling at me like a psycho and lecturing me on how I’m supposed to first tell her what size and if i want a cup or a cone before asking for a flavor. I was so shocked! I asked if she could be nicer and she started yelling again and answered: NO, and then continued lecturing me and yelling at me like crazy. My kids were scared and i didn’t want to stay there another second. Unfortunately we ended up leaving. The other staff member just laughed instead of helping. How appalling… and how embarrassing for you. No wonder you were the only place that wasn’t packed. In the future and for your business to succeed, try hiring mentally stable people to work with customers, and not insane/ angry people who yell at the people paying you good money for decent ice cream.

"The Little Bakers" is a charming neighborhood bakery known for its delectable pastries and traditional French baking techniques. While they offer excellent cakes and cookies, their specialty lies in savory and salty pastries. The pastry chef, inspired by a trip to Sweden, has created a local interpretation of Swedish cakes with layers of yeast dough, chocolate, cre patissier mousse, and brownies.
We've tried several different things by this cute bakery, and all of them were great: sourdough bread, cakes, pretzel buns, etc. Highly recommended! They seem to have a lot of options for people with restrictions (parve, gluten-free, sugar-free)

Milk Bakery, located in Jaffa's Flea Market, has been creating quite a buzz with its delectable treats. Adi Kihan works her magic with dough and chocolate to produce an array of mouthwatering pastries such as croissants filled with cre patissiere and berries, brioche challahs, cream puffs, and flourless cakes. The bakery exudes an urban vibe while maintaining an intimate atmosphere.
Love this place. Great location in the entrance to the flea market and sitting on the street The pastries are excellent, and I tried a few of them on my visits. This time was no different with an excellent pain au chocolat, a cake with a frangipane cream, and a interesting savory. Highly recommended. Still one of the best bakery in Tel aviv if you are looking for classic French pastries.
Yvan L — Google review
The food and the drinks taste amazing, although are much pricier than most places in tel aviv. I paid around 70 shekels for two pastries and one coffee. The atmosphere is great and welcoming as are most of the staff. I had only one unfortunate incident where I asked for a pastry with a particular topping out of the few that they had and they gave me the wrong one. I came back to the counter to ask them for the one that I ordered and paid for and the person working there insisted that it's all the same inside anyway and it doesn't matter instead of just changing it to what i asked for in the first place🫤. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have ordered a particular one.
Esther — Google review
Disappointed... After all of the hype and great reviews that I read I was truly disappointed. I am new to the neighborhood and was excited that they were just a three minute walk from my apartment. I wish I had taken pictures of the three pastries that I bought to share them with my thoughts on each one. First of all, everything tasted and had the textures that they were day old and not fresh (I was there at 8:30 in the morning). I love Almond Croissants and with this one it was only the sliced almonds on top that had any similarty to an Almond Croissant. It was bland and had no type of filling. Then there was a pastry that looked like a miniature/single serving of a chocolate bobka. It had a bitter, not sweet taste. The third one was the only one that was tasty and seemed to be fresh. Unfortunately that is the only one that I have no idea how to describe since I never had anything like it. It was a square that had four sections on top. I think that the guy behind the counter said it was a butter pastry. My Hebrew is not up to par and the two young employees did not speak much English (which I am now living in Israel and am slowly learning). I thought of giving Milk Bakery a one star rating but this last pastry is what made it a two. Needless to say, I will not be going back.
Susie B — Google review
Really nice bakery. Very hip, can get crowded, but with a decent amount of places around to rest while you drink your coffee. Coffee is really good and so are the pastries.
ET G — Google review
I came here for a lunch to have a sandwich and something sweet. Unfortunately, at 13:00, almost everything was sold, just few sandwiches left that looked quite sad and no interesting pastries. I ordered a salmon sandwich, profiterole with vanilla cream and American coffee. Everything was good, not woow, coffee too watery for my taste. Girl told me to come either in the morning or on Friday, then they have amazing stuff. Maybe I will and then I'll update my review. There is no inside sitting, so in summer it is could be too hot to sit outside.

Cafelix is a beloved coffee shop with four branches in Tel Aviv, including one in Jaffa. It's known for its fresh coffee and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. The cafe's unique touches, such as a rack for leaving marked coffee cups and labeling their coffees with animal names, set it apart. With outdoor seating available at most cafes in Tel Aviv, Cafelix is no exception.
Best coffee I’ve tasted so far in Tel Aviv. The existing crowd outside the coffeeshop did not deter me from walking straight into the shop toward the end of the line. And the cafe turns out to be quite spacious inside. Iced latte with a fresh, fruity flavor. Although I don’t usually like milk coffee on the sour side, this one is really refreshing. My Scandinavian bun is made from a springy dough, topped with crispy almond flakes and filled with a perfect amount of pistachio cream.
X — Google review
Great coffee place to get a really good specialty coffee. Prices are expensive but the quality is very good. No parking, seats are inside and outside, and good bakery items. The Danish buns are highly recommended.
Eliran S — Google review
I had a great time here today. I had a great espresso. It was fruity, light, soft, and was barely bitter which I love. I chose to sit both on the inner bar, that looks to the very small courtyard outside, and on the exterior bar, that looks onto the street. Both were beautiful and calm. The staff were generous and sweet, and the cookie I had was alright haha. In general, apart from the fact that a cold espresso cost me 14 NIS, the experience was perfect. Practical, calm, tasty. Thank you!
Lior S — Google review
Delicious coffee and chill atmosphere, totally recommend getting the saffron / almond bun, worth it! Also noticed that regulars have their own cups up on a shelf, that’s such a great idea.
Katerina Z — Google review
Located in a rather residential building, you can easily fail to see this café. If so: too bad. Because it’s one of the best places in Tel Aviv to have some nice cappuccino, espresso or any other coffee-related drink. Their beans are nicely roasted and go well with the milk, both when served warm or when served cold. You can enjoy it inside the store or try to find a place outside. The staff is very friendly and just great, they even take care of customer‘s dogs. I love it!
Sebastian — Google review
Disappointing first visit. The young guy with the mustache at the counter gave off a rude and unwelcoming vibe, as if he was doing me a favor just by acknowledging me. I ended up leaving without ordering. Maybe invest in your customer service before you invest in your coffee. Good luck. Definitely not coming back.
Andrew — Google review
I was really looking forward to trying some specialty coffee, I was hoping to drink a few cups and choose some beans to take home. Unfortunately non of the beans on sale were available to try and the delicious drip coffee that I did try was out of stock. I did think the coffee was exceptionally good and bought beans without trying them as I do believe that cafelix offers some of the best coffee in israel, if you know what to order, the espresso was terrible, burnt, sorry. No where to sit unfortunately, people working take all the seats.
Esther B — Google review
I know Cafelix for a few good years, but I was recently walking nearby so I got a chance to visit again. I’m so happy I came back. Most importantly: the coffee is incredible. Some of the light roasts blew my mind. I also bought some coffee home (the variety I got is called “Borboniera”) – some of the best at-home AeroPress I’ve ever made. The atmosphere is super cozy and friendly. Much smaller compared to its Jaffa counterpart. Although it’s very close to נחת (Nahat) which is also great, you must give Cafelix a shot.

My favorite coffee place in the area. Pistachio croissant is the best and must have with after-lunch coffee. Please never ever buy Nelson bread - it’s impossible to stop if you try even one piece. For bread, cookies, cakes Lachmanina can't be beaten. Really, their artisan bread is amongst the best ..and for take-home, after 8:00pm, any unsold bread is half price. Eating in...good coffee, sandwiches, a good selection of salads. Maybe best of all, is the friendly, very helpful staff. Customer centered as you would wish other places would be, but aren't.

I had bulgur salad with olives, kohlorabi, feta cheese and cranberries. It was tart and sweet, not too heavy and very good. For desert I had a chocolate cheese cake with coffee. The portion was quite large and came with sour cream with a hint of orange. Again, very good. Would definitely visit again.

Cremerie De L'eclair is a delightful haven for dessert lovers, where the enchanting aromas of freshly baked pastries mingle with the sweet scent of ice cream. This charming spot in Tel Aviv offers an impressive selection of sixty unique ice cream flavors alongside delectable French pastries like éclairs, croissants, and brioches. The creative combinations are served in various forms—think warm éclairs filled with rich ice cream or indulgent brioche sandwiches.
Their high-end take on an ice cream sandwich is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the money at 25 NIS. Each flavor has a unique cookie that doesn't merely have a different taste, but a different recipe based on different base ingredients. It's like a boutique bakery coupled with an ice cream parlor at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

Be careful today. I bought some products at the store and the person overcharged me — they added 20 shekels on top of the regular price. Make sure to check the prices before you pay; they’re displayed on the left side of the counter. As for the person who ripped me off, obviously when I see you again, I’m going to curse you out like crazy

Came to buy ice cream at 16:00. The place was open and it was the regular working hours. The guy there said he will not be selling ice cream right now. He has no ice cream. I pointed at the row of ice cream sandwiches that were on display and asked why can’t I get one of those? He said no. He might be selling stuff in 30 minutes. Have no idea why… we just left.
Abigail W — Google review
I think it was one of the best ice cream I ever had. And believe me, I had my fair share of ice cream around the world. I didn't have the ice cream sandwiches nor any of the pastries (I saw some negative reviews about both) so can't say much about those. But the ice cream by the scoop was just TOP! The flavours are super rich and creamy. I particularly recommend Salted Pretzel and Chocolate Brownie.
Manuela M — Google review
A must!!! Their ice cream and ice cream sandwiches are decadent, especially with their additional sauces which they drizzle on top. During our 2 week stay in Tel Aviv, we visited here 3 times - getting a different flavor or sandwich each time. Our favorite is definitely the triple fudge ice cream with a warm chocolate chip cookie.

The Urban Bakery is a great bakery with fantastic coffee and pastries. It's located in the city centre, next to the American Colony in Tel Aviv - Jaffa. The dough they use is really special, and although it opened around noon, I felt that the pastries had dried up. However, I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee or some delicious sweets.
Great new coffee place in the coolest area in Tel Aviv. They have both indoor and outdoors sitting with plenty of space. They have a variety of meat and vegetarian sandwiches and all I’ve tried were delicious. They also sell pasta, olives, and other products. Very friendly and cool place!

The Urban Bakery is very nice to look at: the pastries are of high quality, well made (👍). However: it's been a few times when we recieved not so fresh pastries (but still good looking and good tasting pastries, but weird texture). We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I love the vibe of this place, it's very friendly and relaxed plus you're surrounded by plants and trees 😀 The coffee is good, they have different alternatives to regular milk and loads of pastries and cakes. And if you have kids there is a nice playground right in front of it. Definitely coming back before I leave.
Silvia I — Google review
Overall, Urban Bakery was pretty good! I got a chocolate croissant and a donut with chocolate inside it. Both were very good, but not amazing. The quality was 4/5. The croissant could have been a bit crispier and fresher since it was soft when I bit into it. The donut was very rich with almost *too* much chocolate if that’s even possible. I would recommend trying if you’re in the area!

This bakery/donut shop is famous for their delicious cookies and donuts. It offers varieties of both sweets, and the staff is always up for discussing donut flavors with customers. It's a great place to go if you're looking for something different from the average Israeli pastry shop.
A must when visiting Tel Aviv!!! Definitely my personal favorite bakery. Although the place is all about donuts and their donuts and cronuts are truly amazing (my favorite is kim k cream cheese donut btw) I do recommend trying other things on the menu as well! Their banana pudding is absolutely the best and I crave it 24/7. The lotus banana pudding is my personal favorite flavor but they are all bomb. The pillow cookies!! they are the star of the show oh my GOD!! huge soft and delicious cookies always freshly made. My favorite- definitely the red velvet cookie with the delicious cheesecake filling. I always make sure to grab one when in Tel Aviv. As to the drinks, very nice coffee and matcha. I always grab their iced coffee with almond milk which is the best pairing to a sweet dessert. Service is always good as well- they are super nice and help you when needed.

Very Instagramy. Very sweet and overloaded with sugar goods. Was a bit disappointed from the cookies. But overall it does taste good. A bit overpriced in my opinion. Cute and small bakery, we tried the double chocolate cookie which was rich and amazing, the baked pecan caramel danish which was super tasty and the creme patissiere cronut which was a bit too sweet for our taste. Second visit - Nutella banana pudding rocked and the rainbow sprinkles & whicte chocolate was a bit too greasy and sweet. Not bad at all!

Small, cozy and incredible. Pastries are soft and beautifully balanced. Sandwich was fresh with all fresh ingredients. And the coffee was very tasteful, even the soy milk's foam was good, and I don't normally enjoy it. Definitely recommend. Enjoy!

The food was nice, very pretty. The croissant with Patisserie was mostly dry and the service was disappointing, we waited a lot to order, but really... there was one person before us when we wanted to ask what the fillings were and nothing moved, then again to order, to get the receipt. What we asked them got wierd answers, generally bad service experience

We came here on a Friday for lunch based on the high reviews. Bread was great, so for a bakery that's excellent. The Israeli breakfast was eh. Sitting to eat was chaotic, disorganized and stressful. I feel like they were understaffed. There was one chaotic line just waiting to sit down and another to order takeout. The bread was really good, but I don't think I would be back due to the chaos.

It’s 2022 and Unfortunately this place still allows smoking 🚬 inside ‼️Against law ‼️Against Health ‼️Against safe space ————————————————- With great regret, I must take off at least 2 stars for: Allowing smoking 🚬 inside 🤮 And not following municipalities rules👮‍♀️ ———————-//——————- Love this place! Great new coffee shop at the heart of the most hip neighborhoods in Tel Aviv Amazing coffee, flavored and made to perfection. I’m planning to try and go there once a week until I can try all their amazing pastries 😝 Everything looked unique and delicious. I tried in there chocolate bun end it was absolutely amazing. YUM

Honestly a pretty nice coffee shop! Kind service workers, good coffee and tasty pastries! My biggest issue with this place is basically the sitting area, it's cramped and some of the time you're sitting on public benches - felt kind of weird for me, but gladly I managed to find a proper seat. Also the workers dont call all of the customers when serving coffee - so there were a good amount of instances where people took other's orders. This happened to me, I was waiting for a pretty long time for my order only to find out someone took it, gladly they just made me a new one :) Other than that it's a nice coffee place! Recommend :)

My favorite coffee place in Tel Aviv if not in the world 🌎. So special, hipsterish with seducing cool 😎 vibes. The coffee was delicious as well as their pastries. Staff was incredible, very friendly and accommodating. I have lost my sunglasses 😎 there and they returned them to me. I will never forget this genuine gesture. I wish to be back soon! Highly recommend! I LOVE YOU GUYS 💜

A lively, hipstery, corner café that serves great pastries and coffee. Pastries come out strong, coffee was nothing special. Gets quite full, service could be better - just impersonal. Worth a try.

Nice coffee shop close to hertzel st. Large coffee selection, fresh pastries yet the selection is not big. Seating is on the street with chairs and benches. Inside seating is also available including for work with laptop.

Cute little cafe in the heart of Florentin. It has little sitting space outside and inside and it’s quite friendly. Coffee was good, and their sandwiches, although a bit small, were tasty too. Friendly service and great place overall

Sweet Box is an American bakery located near the Levinsky market in Tel Aviv. The bakery offers a variety of sweet treats, including sinfully delicious red velvet cupcakes and cakes with a hint of cocoa and topped with sweet cream cheese frosting. The cozy shop also features classic American baked goods such as chocolate chip cookies, sticky buns, and freshly baked breads. While some items may not taste exactly like their authentic counterparts from the US, they are still tasty in their own way.
One of the few remaining bakeries in Israel that serve proper American desserts. Everything here is delicious. From the cupcakes, all the way to their Cinnamon Rolls. The service is amazing. They treat customers the way they treat their pastries: With love and care. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, cute little place, tons of sweets, with vegan options, super delicious, we took the vegan cinnamon roll, brownie and banana muffin, all were super good! Would love to see even more vegan options🥰🥰

Wow. Arrived really late on Friday and there was nothing left but a brownie. It was quite expensive but it was love at first bite. Greatest brownie I've had. Too bad they are open for more days during the week. A week after I came back for the cinnabon. Not as good as the brownie, but awesome still. A MUST!
Meni S — Google review
Wow! This place is awesome! Take away or a quick bite, you can easily fall in love with the pastries here. Great cheese cake, great huge cookies. Go on and keep doing good to people with your wonderful gift.

Pretty yummy and unique baked goods here. Sometimes the things they make just don't really taste like the original way they taste back in the US though, like the black and white cookie and the Boston cream donut. Still tasty in its own way, but not like the real authentic thing back home. I will keep trying all of their donuts and pies regardless since it's the closest thing I can find here to a real American bakery!

Moran Gil Cakery is a charming bakery with a lovely interior and a selection of delicious pastries, cakes, and cookies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the items on display. The black sesame croissant and brownie are particularly delightful, accompanied by a smooth cappuccino. The well-composed flavors and textures of their desserts make for an enjoyable experience. Additionally, the minimalistic European-style interior design adds to the cafe's appeal.
Spotted this lovely cute bakery while I was rushing somewhere; couldn’t help but enter to grab something to eat! Glad I have. I tried the black sesame croissant looking yummy pastry with a smooth silky cappuccino. However they had a brownie as a tester on the side which was heavenly!! So both things I tried were delicious (believe me I am picky even with my cappuccino) so def recommend the place! The staff is also very lovely and explained what each yummy thing they had on display. Oh the cheesecakes … they looked so sexy I should try it next!
Simge E — Google review
Not quite sure what all the hype is about. I tried their hazelnut chocolate filled pastry and it was really awful. The filling tasted and had the texture of a super market chocolate pudding. Granted, it was the only pastry I tried at Moran Gil's, but for the prices they charge (28 for a chocolate croissant), they should not be serving cheap, distasteful foods such as that.
Yael L — Google review
If you walk by, you already see the fancy, well designed interior of the shop. It shows some class and so does the cake and cookies. Well arranged, well composed flavors and textures, delicious taste. And yes, they serve nice coffee (cappuccino, etc.), too. I really liked their Apple & pistachio cake - Great balance of sweetness and acid. And my absolute recommendation: the Blondies. Simply amazing - just have one whenever you are there.

Wow, this place is amazing. I've always wanted to try a Cinnabon, in the US it's not Kosher, and this is as close as it gets and wow is it delicious. The cakes were perfect texture and tasted amazing as well. Highly recommended and now it's Kosher with Tzohar. Great job!
Elchanan H — Google review
New bakery. Cafe is fine but the star of the show are the cakes. I shared a pear and pistachio cake and a lemon and basil tart. Both were excellent. A lot of flavor, moist, fresh, most probably one of the best I have eaten in israel. My only complain will be the cost which sounds ridiculous high even for a great piece of cake.

We had a wonderful experience at Moran Gil Cakery - it was definitely worth the drive in from Jerusalem! The staff was incredibly patient while explaining the different flavors and options - we got to meet Moran as well and he was super friendly and hospitable. The coffee was strong and delightful and the cakes - well, the cakes were absolutely phenomenal. Each option we tasted had really unique flavors and textures that came together for an exciting culinary experience. Highly recommend making the trip!

Zakaim is a charming and eclectic vegan restaurant located in south Tel Aviv, offering a unique dining experience. The restaurant is known for its homemade vegan cheese and innovative dishes like the Beyond Meat Burger. With a Persian influence, Zakaim's menu features an array of plant-based delights such as lentil pate served with toasted challah bread and sweet tomato jam, as well as the flavorful mushroom musabaha.
Very Very good! Vegan restaurant That makes you forget about meat or cheese, everything we tried was just perfect! The staff was very nice and very friendly. The restaurant design like an old Tel Aviv style grandma home and you can see right through the kitchen. You can tell that everything is fresh and the best quality possible. Very hip and very stylish. Hi there! I wish they had some items that where a little less pricey so I could go there more often.
RAVE — Google review
It's really amazing! The quality of the food is top-notch and you will *not* miss meat here. I have never liked vegetarian food but tonight I fell in love. The "beyond"-burger is a miracle that has to be witnessed. Greetings to the staff: your hospitality is really heart-warming. We will come back!
Anton — Google review
I had diner there tonight and absolutely liked it. It was my first food experience here - can highly recommend it. I really liked the califlower. It has a spicy oil on it and you dip it in a delicious chickpea sauce. All the three courses were amazing. Service was very friendly.
Matthias M — Google review
Very unique vegan food and a really great deal during the business lunch special. The “appetizer”. Plates included hummus and falafel, israel salad, pesto and olive tapenade with cream cheese, housemade vegan challah and the best “French fries” basically new potatoes that are smashed and fried crispy - make sure to ask for the chili “mayo” which is delicious with the fries. We were 4 and shared 4 dishes. The favorite was the Cauliflower Gondi, next was the smoked eggplant with excellent spicy tomato sauce, - the Fatoush Salad was a miss and basically very bland (and we realized later that it was missing the promised nicoise olives), the potato niscoise was good but much of the potato was too big and not dressed properly which was disappointing to the people who had eaten it before. Overall though we all enjoyed the meal and were very full by the end.
Lisa T — Google review
Great vegan place with vintage vibes. The food is awesome, not over compensating or too complexed. They have the Beyond Burger which is out of this world! AFAIK the only place that serves it in Israel. All the above being said, I always get the impression that the place is a bit overpriced, and that you pay too much for what you get.
Yuval G — Google review
You might even forget that this place is vegan, since the menu is wholly focused on the glory of the ingredients rather than simply finding substitutes for meat dishes. Friendly staff and great variety!

Georgian restaurant
Nanuchka, a once-popular Georgian-style restaurant and bar in Tel Aviv, made a surprising transition to becoming 100% vegan. Despite its carnivorous past and reputation for late-night revelry, the owner's decision to embrace veganism did not deter its loyal patrons. The restaurant now thrives as a go-to spot for tasty vegan cuisine served generously.
One of the best vegan restaurants in Israel, or perhaps THE best. Great food (wish I could order the entire menu), friendly and efficient service, and reasonable pricing. Very comfortable, roomy and cosy. Will definitly visit there again (and again and wgain).

Omri R — Google review
A very nice place with some good atmosphere. The food was not a WOW as everyone is saying but it might be due to the fact that I don’t tend to like vegan food.
Shachar P — Google review
Slow service, asked for additional bread 3 times and it took them 40 minutes to get it. VERY EXPENSIVE considering the quantity of food served.
Meni S — Google review
Superb planet friendly food. This is the type of food that future generations will enjoy as the norm in a few years from now and we are fortunate enough to be alive to dine at one of the pioneer establishments that understood this way ahead of other restaurants. Everything from the salads, shawarma, the filled chanikalis was delicious but the chocolate dessert from heaven is to die for. The picture does not justify the cake since we immediately attacked the dish before taking the shot. We will definitely be back for more Nanuchka food. ”Peas” and Love from Leo and Omer

Nestled in the heart of Tel Aviv, Alexander Bread & Bakery is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or an appreciation for artisanal bread. This charming bakery boasts an array of mouthwatering pastries, cakes, and breads that are almost too beautiful to eat. Guests can enjoy watching skilled bakers craft their creations right before their eyes in the open kitchen.
We came an hour before closing time which meant that there wasn’t as much of a selection, but we got 50% off one of the items which was a definitely a benefit to coming late. We tried the chocolate cake and the pastry that was made up of croissant pastry, peacans, dates and chocolate. Both were really yummy. The chocolate basque cake was very rich and had sort of a caramel in parts of it which was nice, and the croissant pastry mix was really unique, not like anything I’ve tried before. Because we came before closing, we didn’t have the option to sit there but the hamasila park is only a few minutes walk away and a perfect location for a little picnic. Would love to come back earlier in the day and see what else is for sale!

Hands down an insanely well-balanced, tasty basque cheesecake that we absolutely loved, and a very good (but kinda empty or very lightly) filled blueberry mascarpone cruffin. Prices are TLV-ish ~ 50 shekel for both! Would definitely go again for their Basque cheesecake! (A note - Update your opening hours, literally visited 4 times to manage to get the place open)

The BEST bakery in Tel Aviv, there isn't a competition (trust me, I tried all of them 😆) every thing we tried was amazing, the selection is incredible, the service is always pleasant and the taste is phenomenal
D B — Google review
A sophisticated boulangerie in a charming corner of Tel Aviv, you’re bound to enjoy whatever you order. I had a savory sweet potato and béchamel sauce pastry followed by a poppyseed crumble cake and both were excellent; the poppyseed cake was extremely moist with different textures in every bite thanks to the added prunes and chopped almonds. The coffee was excellent as well. Two reasons for the lost star: firstly, service. The person taking orders got mine wrong and I received a small rather than a large coffee; when I flagged this, they did nothing to assist. I had to order another coffee, and the barista was very unpleasant. Secondly, while I understand flaky pastries are best eaten fresh, the pistachio cruffin I got for takeaway had totally dried out by the time I ate it that same day. In short, I’d recommend this place for a coffee and a breakfast or a snack, but takeaway doesn’t hold up too well and be prepared for a line in the morning!
Dan Z — Google review
Beautiful and delicious pastries. The place is stylish and clean, the kitchen is open and you can watch them work with the dough and prepare the pastries. We took a cold coffee and three types of pastries, all were excellent!
Nir O — Google review
Alexander is an amazing new French Boulangerie that sells next level pastries, baguettes and breads. Evertything is freshly baked just across the counter in an open kitchen mouth drooling glass display. 🤤🥐🥖 Everything that I tried was really unique and super tasty, the Lemon Cruffin was just out of this world. Crispy dough on the outside and melting cream on the inside, wow! The Vanilla-nuts Garmoshka was heavenly as well. A perfect crispy brioche on the outside filled with yummy cream. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff... Alexander is located at the shop where Hanoi restaurant used to be and currently doesn't offer any outside seating - you can grab everything to go and go sit on a bench in Rothschild or in Neve Tsedek. There's a line, which currently takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the day and hour (I was there on a Friday), the selection of pastries also changes and sells out quickly, so if you are coming in especially, I would give them a call to see what they have.
Sagi B — Google review
After receiving a lot of recommendations on the place grabbed some coffee and pastries on my way to work and was happy I did so ☺️ I chose the lemon cruffin, the classic cheese cake, raspberry brioche and pecan cookie. Everything was wonderful and fresh, but surprisingly enough we especially enjoyed the “simple” pecan cookie which was heavenly. Try it!

Tbh, expectations were v high. Maybe that was the problem. Food was v good, presentation likewise. But have seen others with equally tasty food/presentation. An acquired/developed taste for the subtle and non-simplistic plates is a must. Place itself is small, quite dark and when entering from elevator doesn't get you excited. Sitting at bar, service was great. Price on the high side.

TIPS: it is on the top floor of the Carlton hotel. Try to get a reservation for 1 hour before sundown so you can see it set. Order drinks first and go outside with them to take in the view. REVIEW:The food is excellent but the service was not good. We took drinks outside and while enjoying the view the food came but the server did not tell us it had arrived. It was getting cold by the time we returned. Our glasses sadly sat empty for long periods of time before we were asked if we would like more. It is as though the staff were not trained. They are friendly but not attentive. This could be a wonderful place with a more professional staff.

This restaurant was absolutely AMAZING. The food was good and they had both great vegan and no-vegan food. My mom and I ate there and the food tasted wonderful with servings that were a perfect size as we left full but not feeling bad. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. Not only was the food incredible but the owner and the son went above and beyond in every way including hospitality, kindness and service. I had my infant son with me and they even washed his used bottle for us while we were there as well as offered to help us get a discount on what we were looking to buy at a store next to KitKat. I could not have had a better experience for a wonderful lunch out with my mom. I will definitely return and will recommend everyone go for the beautiful, tasty food, fun atmosphere and kind interaction with the owner and his son. I’m proud to support their business and glad to have met them. Plus’s their desserts were fascinating and fun. You will feel honored and valued by them and experience being treated the right way. I can’t over state how great they were in meeting our needs and showing us kindness.

Patisserie
La Bonne Patisserie is a classic French bakery known for its delectable selection of pastries and savory quiches, along with aromatic coffee. The pastry chefs are highly skilled, creating buttery croissants, chocolate eclairs, and lemon meringues that transport you to Paris with every bite. This family-owned business has garnered praise from French expats for their authentic treats and warm service.
☕️ Smiles, best pastries and Coffee ☕️ Ever been somewhere the staff smile more than you do after your first sip of coffee? That's this place! Remember October 8th, when things got crazy? While Dizengoff Street was empty, deserted, these girls were like, "We're open!" They were the only coffee shop around for many days. And get this - they do make all their own bread and pastries right here, a family business! Speaking of croissants, wow! I'm not usually one to hyperbole, but these are the best in Israel. Sorry, beach body - these curves are worth it! Bottom line: Come for coffee, enjoy the smiles, and leave with an amazing croissant. Your taste buds will thank you! A big thanks to this awesome team for brightening our days, especially during tough times. You girls rock!

Very expensive, doesn't live up to any standart. Very bad and doughy pain au chocolat. good coffee at least. Everything looks good from afar

It's a beautiful place with great pastries and very friendly people. I like to visit this cafe from time to time. Their unfilled profiteroles are really delicious. I am very grateful to the cafe staff who encourage me to try to remember French and pretend to understand that I speak French :) it's very nice! Merci beaucoup!

Stopped in looking to fill a craving for an eclair. Ended up with a vanilla eclair and a pistachio pastry with a cappuccino. Everything was super tasty! Great little spot to sit outside. Will be going again

Had the most wonderful croissant this morning, which was a perfect taste of France. Can’t wait to try more of their pastries! I’m sure they’re just as amazing - considering the line outside ;)

Easily the best pastries in town. The pistachio chocolate croissant is to die for. And btw, they have awesome sandwiches.

Bubble tea store
Japanese confectionery shop
Mochikva מוצ'יקווה is a unique spot that offers a taste of Japan in the Middle East. This online business specializes in vegan mochi, featuring traditional flavors like matcha with red bean filling and innovative options such as peanut-coconut-miso. The shop is known for its hand-made tapioca pearls and creative drinks like Taro.
So glad Mochikva finally opened up! I've been dreaming about tapioca for a long time and my dream finally came true!! Sarah makes an amazing hand made tapioca pearls and combines them in the most interesting and delicious drinks (my personal favorite is Taro) In addition there are different kinds of mochi, traditional or ice cream, both are amazing! So if you are around I would definitely recommend you'd stop by, or come specifically for that like I did, it's totally worth it!
Romi Z — Google review
I love the Taro and Brown sugar milk tea, the best one I've tried in Israel so far. Really good service too. I dropped my drinks right after I got out of the shop and they replaced my drinks even though it was my fault.
Athena S — Google review
Mochikva is a unique shop smong boba & mochi places. The young American & British women who started & own the place work there full time & put special quality & care into everything. Believe it or not, they make their own boba from scratch! This is an incredible thing I have never encountered anywhere in the world! They use healthier and more natural ingredients than most other places, and only natural, real teas & flavors, no powders or artificial, sugary syrups. The tapioca balls were a perfect consistency & taste! Highly recommended!
Alicia C — Google review
Edit: I visited again, and it was a excellent improvement from the first time. My kids and I loved our drinks - I had the Taro one. Glad I came back and got a 5 star experience this time!
Julia M — Google review
Amazingly nice shopkeepers! Talk both Hebrew and English. mochi and tapioca are homemade, very delicious!
Local F — Google review
Went there last week with my friend and everything was just so so delicious! The service was great too, we asked so many questions and they were kind and let us take our time. Will be back for sure! And their boba is the best one i have ever had in israel 😍🧋🧋

I work close and i come. Once or twice a week I'm obbssed with their drinks Delicious and so special there is no other place you can fins this menu , also all the staff is very helpful and nice
Conty G — Google review
Edit: Rumor has it this place won't be with us very soon. It is sad to all of us and not just people from Tel Aviv but from all over the country (I myself drove an hour to get there just yesterday). I highly recommend getting a nicdrink and a wonderful mochi there while you still can! This is a rare place where I'd give 10/5 stars if I had the option! ♥️ Original Review: This place is full of love. Full, of love. First and foremost, this is the BEST Bobba in Israel. Hands down. I extremely doubt you will find BETTER. The Bobba here is made by hand... with use of a special machine, of course, but the machine only helps cut them into the perfect bite. For real, they are perfection. And the ratio and flavor is, like I said, perfection. And it's like... They're not on some industrial line of soft Bobba like in those other Israeli places I've been to, where the so-called tapioca balls just feel like a soft little bubble that mostly tastes like sugar and water. Oh no sir, not at all madam! these Bobba are a blessed pleasure. I'm not even half joking here... I enjoyed their texture as well as that so very very unique flavor SO much, just thinking back at it now I'm salavating. Hold on, better go grab a napkin before I start to actually slobber 🤤🤤🤤 And the taro root! Omfg!! 🤩😋🤑! That thing is a flavor so unique and special and delicious I cannot even attempt to describe it. Do yourself a favor and if nothing else, AT LEAST try the Taro Wave once. Seriously, there's nothing like it. And that whipped Mascarpone it comes with? To die for! Did I mention, I met the owner when I was there? She's the sweetest young woman, with an attitude that'll make you smile in a heartbeat! I was there talking about the Japanese Katakana on the sign outside, and instead of treating me like some client who refuses to move along or someone with too many questions, she opened her eyes wide, told me a bit of the story about the place, asked for my opinions and smiled with excitement that one more person wants to know about it all. In fact, when I told her I've only had their mochi but not their Bobba before, she immediately said I gotta taste it there so she gets to see my reaction. Such a sweet attitude. She seems to have a real passion for the place & the food she's making there. And you BET you can taste the quality in those yummy snacks you hold on to when stepping out of the little store. Oh, and the mochi! Yabai!! I'll admit, not all of the mochi were my specific taste. And last time I was there pretty late in the day so there were only four types left. The spicy Mango one wasn't for me, and as delicious as it truly was, the peanut butter nuttela one was way soft and a bit hard to hold. But the icecream mochi were amazing; And the first time I got a mochi from Mochikva, it was this incredible and unexpected Japanese style mochi (not even remotely western in affluence), with peanuts and I think... I wanna say soy? I don't remember what it was called, but it was a texture you don't really get with anything else in this country, and a flavor so new and special that I was left there wishing I had ten more just like it waiting on my plate. Umami yet sweet yet a touch of Salty peanuts, and all so well balanced. It was one of the most special snacks I've had in Israel. Ever. And it was so filling for something that fits in the palm of your hand. If you go there for a snack, and you're planning on both mochi AND a Bobba... Prepare your extra desert stomach 😉 I don't give five stars for nothing. But this place? This place deserves a sixth one! 🌟 I highly recommend going for the more Japanese style flavors. They are so special and well made. I can only hope they keep their quality & passion forever. Israel needs more quality like you gals! Keep it up 🤙

Bakery
Zeit für Brot is a popular bakery known for its excellent cinnamon buns, sandwiches, and coffee. Despite the long lines and limited seating, the soft and flavorful bread makes it worth the wait. The sourdough bread varieties like Kartoffel Dinkel are highly recommended, along with the cardamom buns. While not identical to its Hamburg counterpart, this bakery in Tel Aviv offers a pretty darn good experience with delicious treats that you can also take home to enjoy.
If just for the bread and coffee it's worth the wait in line outside with 37 degrees and blazing sun on a Friday morning 🤣. Excellent cinnamon buns, sandwiches and coffee. Highly recommend buying some bread to also take home and enjoy 🤤. While it's not 100% like the Zeit Für Brot in Hamburg DE that I know, it's pretty darn good!!!!
Atalia A — Google review
I’ve tried both locations of Zeit für Brot in Tel Aviv. The coffee is great, and all the pastries and cakes that I tried (over multiple visits) were really good. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the prices are a bit high, even considering the high quality of ingredients.
Elli D — Google review
The best cinnamon roll I’ve ever tasted. The dough was soft and at the same time rich in taste, the coffee was okay. The place is small inside and there are not many places to sit, but the staff was quick and efficient.
Wedad A — Google review
Lovely place! All bread are sourdoughs, amazing. Regular prices like everywhere in specialty bakeries in Tel Aviv. Bread «Kartoffel Dinkel» is perfect!❤️‍🔥 Cardamom buns 💔

Was very happy to run into this place by chance, the schnekes are awesome, also the mascarpone brioche was delicious. Coffee tasted good as well, the staff was a bit tired and miserable looking 🥲

Good coffee, berries and white chocolate. Cheese cake not too sweet and a bit sour like it should be. Can't wait to try the Bread next time.

This bakery totally rocks! They've got killer coffee too. This spot right here just adds more street cred to the already awesome Berlin bakery.

HOC - TRUMPELDOR, or House of Coffee, is a charming café that beautifully blends indoor and outdoor seating, run by a passionate husband-and-wife team. Nestled near the trendy Neve Tzedek neighborhood, this spot is perfect for coffee aficionados with its impressive selection of sixteen unique coffee varieties made exclusively from La Cabra beans.
They have a nice selection of ultra Light roasted coffee beans - Scandinavian style.. It is a great spot for coffee lovers. It was one of the best cup of coffee I had in Israel. It is expensive, but providing high-quality coffee beans and using the best possible products don't come cheap.
Lior — Google review
This coffee place is a gem for coffee lovers. The coffee is fancy and unique, with only one size available. The tableware is beautiful, and the menu is not too long but has enough variety for a morning coffee or a small brunch. Everything we had was great and tasty. The location is great, with a glimpse of sea view. The only drawbacks are that it is a bit pricey and noisy because of the traffic. But if you are looking for a special treat and don’t mind the noise, this is the place for you. The service was also friendly and fast. I would definitely come back again.
Itai N — Google review
Like: location, service, nice people (: Dislike: The coffee is tiny tiny tiny, the grilled cheese was not grilled well and the cheese was half melted, bread was dry. (Im pretty sure it was one time mistake🤞🏼) It trying the be like minimalistic place, and its fine, but its important to find the balance between minimalism to generosity. I couldn’t felt the generosity at that place.
Dan E — Google review
Very pricey, coffee is so special I couldn't drink it. Very unique taste, sour, hated it. If you sit outside its extremely noisy.
Jonathan A — Google review
Got to try this place after hearing too many recommendations about it.. the place itself nice, not having some special environment or so, only 4 options of food, pretty much expensive on something that wasn’t so wow.. the coffee was too much sour for me and that’s was weird.. I guess some ppl like it.. not a place that I will coma back again, it was nice to check it out and that’s it

You can't go wrong with HOC⭐🤌 Another gem in the city, great quality everything (interior design, vibe, plating, ingredients...). Yes guys, it is on the pricey side. If you're not looking for the best quality grilled cheese , Coffee or Matcha in the area, try other places.

The cafe serves delicious pastries and breakfast options, with highlights such as Jerusalem Bagel, Croque Madame, croissants, and babka. The walnut croissant is fluffy and precise, while the cinnamon pastry boasts layers of flavor. Additionally, the cafe offers great coffee and friendly service despite being crowded at times.
A Charming Café in the Heart of Tel Aviv This lovely café nestled at the entrance of a hotel is a hidden gem. While there is indoor seating available, the outdoor atmosphere undoubtedly steals the show. The dishes here are incredibly tasty, and I highly recommend trying the chicken salad. Their pastries are simply delicious, and the service is excellent. It's always a pleasure to return here, for more reasons than one.

This is really nice place with a good atmosphere. They have home made tea with mint, lemon and ginger. Very tasty food and big portions. Personal was not very friendly.

One of the best breakfast experiences I had while staying in Israel. The food came quickly and was absolutely out of this world. I was able to try a “Jerusalem Bagel” for the first time - let me tell you, it was FANTASTIC. I also had their interpretation of a Croque Madame, which knocked my socks off with a perfect combination of spices, soft egg, ham, and cheese. And you can’t go wrong with the croissants and babka. They’re all freshly baked, soft, and perfect. Every single one is another adventure of sweet and savory deliciousness. Absolutely worth visiting multiple times. 10/10.
