We visited Weisses Bräuhaus for lunch and had an absolutely fantastic experience. This place is not only a restaurant but also the oldest Weissbier brewery in Bavaria, with roots dating back to 1607, which adds an extra charm to the visit. We sat in the cozy beer garden, but I also peeked inside and was impressed by the stunning historical interior with its vaulted ceilings and authentic Bavarian atmosphere. The service was excellent – the staff, dressed in traditional costumes, were both professional and welcoming. The food was outstanding: the veal liver was probably the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pork knuckle was just as impressive, with crispy skin and juicy, tender meat, while the chicken in lemon sauce was fresh and perfectly balanced. Weisses Bräuhaus combines unique history, authentic atmosphere, top-quality Bavarian cuisine, and its own famous Weissbier – a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Kelheim.

Avoid this place!The owner treated us extremely impolitely and unprofessionally, they only accept cash,they have nothing of what is in the menu,the menu is not in English,the food (what they have, because they had 3 up to 7 options we asked for) is soooo mediocre! A nightmare!When we asked to speak with the manager as we did not have cash and nobody informed us in advance,he refused to talk and send a waiter (she was really kind,at last!)to let us know he didn't have time.Then we went to pay and he was there, telling me that in Italy nobody speaks German with him!But we asked a menu in English and TAP water,they served water that made us pay and again nobody told us about the payment cash only. Very yummy dinner spot! This was recommended by our local city tour guide as a great spot. I ate the Peasants Feast and it was great! Also the white asparagus are amazing if they are in season. Busy place, but indoor and outdoor seating and 2 stories so we found a seat no problem.

Very nice restaurant and bar in an awesome location/ venue in Kelheim. There were many different house specials to choose from for meals, and they were all very delicious (especially the Kürbissuppe!). The service was alright, but it was occasionally hard to get a waiter’s attention. Parking is available in the back, and they only accept cash.

We visited the restaurant part of this hotel & restaurant place as part of a group of about 30 people. Service was quick in taking up the orders - and friendly. The ordered food didn't take a long time to get prepared and arrived hot on the table. The Cordon Bleu that we had was pretty good, the fries were a bit dry but generally okay as a side dish. In addition to the small pack of Ketchup you could also get more Ketchup/Mayonnaise upon request. Prices were very reasonable. Location wise, the place is in the old town of Kelheim and only a short walk away from the big parking lot at the boat dock where we had arrived by boat. For summer, there is spacious outside seating with plenty of sunshades or glass roofs. Bathrooms were clean and equipped with the typical amenities. Generally, this was quite decent for our lunch and there was not a lot to complain about.

A nice place and friendly staff. They followed strictly the covid rules, not just for a foreign visitor but all guests. The meals I have had there ( so good I went back) are well prepared and tasty.

I stayed there for 3 nights in July. Unfortunately I received the worst service from the receptionist ever. We we checked-in, we found one female socks under the table, I went to the reception and reported that very politely to a guy at reception, and all he said was: "OK". I said probably the cleaning staff didn't probably clean properly, and he said: "Yes, Maybe" and didn't even look at me while he was typing something in his computer. I have the view of downtown Kelheim. My room was pleasant. Toilet and shower are separate. I like their floor and rainfall shower head. The over all vibe remind me of hot topic store in US. They have courtyard with fountain. The breakfast area is near elevator that's close to front of Building. It is also 3 minute walk from reception desk to bus stop. It is 5 minute walk to tourist information desk.
