Bakery
Restaurant
Gourmandise is a French-inspired bakery and cafe in Salt Lake City, known for its made-from-scratch desserts. The establishment offers a wide array of decadent pastries, cookies, cakes, and tarts that cater to both traditional and modern tastes. From English bread pudding to French macarons to Baklava, Gourmandise covers a range of worldly dessert classics with finesse. The German chocolate cake, Tiramisu, and black and white cake are highly recommended.
I visit Gourmandise frequently and I really like it. It’s a pleasant place where you can enjoy anything from a family meal, a hangout with friends, to a relaxed date — whether it’s with a friend or someone special — and the best part is that you can talk for hours without feeling rushed to leave the table. That, to me, is priceless. Their pastry is good — maybe not amazing, but definitely solid. The food is quite decent, and their mimosas are tasty, making it a great spot for a laid-back brunch as well. Another plus is the easy access: there’s plenty of parking, which is always appreciated. The service is generally very friendly and welcoming. However, on my last visit, after clearing our lunch plates, the server took quite a while to return and check if we needed anything else. It wasn’t a huge issue, but worth noting. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is comfortable and calm, and like I said, I love being able to have long conversations without interruptions. I definitely recommend this place.

We love this restaurant! Delicious and fresh French food that’s casual. The pastry case is a formidable force of awesomeness and artistry with flower and sugar. So delightful! The salads are especially crisp and fresh. Yum! Maddox took care of us and we had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
MKB — Google review
It was a rough entry but the food was worth it for the most part. They had a delicious freshly made ranch dill dip dressing. Their peach vinaigrette was fantastic. The atmosphere is a little lacking. The check-in process was a little foggy. We went on a Sunday mid morning, cusp of blnoon. I would go back but it was definitely not somewhere to go if you're in a hurry. We can skip the door line and go straight in and order coffee and pastries and pick up your cakes and then go. So that's nice. Our coffees were on point and our food was delicious.
Sherry L — Google review
We waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. We had the host and hostesses walking by us not saying something. finally a waitress had to go grab someone because we’d been just standing there for so long. After we’d been seated our server either was not informed that she was serving us or didn’t check because we sat another 25 minutes until the host pulled the waitress to the side and reminded her that she was in charge of us and another neglected table. We finally ordered and got our food and in the hour we were actually being served we got our drink refilled once and only because we had to flag her down and ask that she refill my wife’s drink. The food was okay, we really weren’t impressed by anything that we had. And finally the reason most people come here is for the dessert. Our awful waitress was the one that bagged up our desserts and we forgot to check the bag til we got back to our hotel. She grabbed the wrong desserts and even forgot some of our items. Overall the experience was a poor one and we were thoroughly unimpressed by our dinner.
Dallin H — Google review
Disappointed Despite the High Reviews I chose this place based on its high ratings, but I left very disappointed. The treats looked appealing, but they all tasted bland. Cheesecake is supposed to be creamy, but the pumpkin cheesecake had the dry, crumbly texture of a cookie. Honestly, everything tasted like it was store-bought, even though it’s presented as freshly made in-house. To make matters worse, I ordered tea and was served very cold water—twice. How do you mess up boiling water, especially at a coffee shop? Don't be fooled by the reviews—this place is meh at best.
Kenneth B — Google review
Not comfortable seating but maybe trendy. Food was good and not too expensive. Bakery items a must after dinner. Waitress was very sweet and helpful. But the BIG thing was I left my bag under the table. This was especially bad because I was headed to Mexico in the morning! Passport and everything! I freaked out when I realized I left it after going back to the hotel. I went back and it was there! I am so grateful for honest people!
Lola Z — Google review
I recently moved to the Utah area for work, and a friend recommended Gourmandise. I was beyond impressed with my experience! Our server, Leslie, went above and beyond — offering excellent suggestions, providing attentive service, and making us feel truly welcomed. She was absolutely fabulous! The charming glassware was a delightful touch, and I look forward to returning with friends and family in the future.
Griffin W — Google review
⸻ I stopped by Grimandi Bakery today and picked up a beautiful-looking eclair. It was a good size and cost $5, which I was fine with because I was really in the mood for one. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the appearance. The chocolate on top was hard and crunchy, more like what you’d find on an ice cream bar than on a pastry. When I bit into it, it crumbled and fell right off. I’ve never had an eclair made this way, and it just didn’t work. The inside wasn’t much better. While the pastry shell itself was nicely done, the filling was bland, airy, and lacked sweetness or any rich flavor. Overall, it was unremarkable and disappointing—especially from a bakery that’s supposed to be “premier.” Honestly, it almost felt like something frozen and brought in rather than freshly made

Bakery
Breakfast restaurant
Tulie Bakery is a popular spot in Salt Lake City known for its seasonal French pastries, sandwiches, and carefully sourced coffee. The bakery offers fantastic pies available only during the Thanksgiving season, with options to choose from in their pastry case or pre-order a larger pie. The flavors change annually but favorites include apple pie with caramelized apples and pecan pie with bourbon and orange.
We love this bakery! We started off by visiting their stand at the Salt Lake City farmers market for weeks getting croissants, plain and raisin, we loved them. Today we visited their actual location, baked goods overload. So much to choose from. The blueberry muffins are hands down the best we’ve ever had. The blueberries are huge and the muffin is moist and delicious. The danish was sweet and tasty. Plan to visit more to try everything once. Can’t go wrong with this bakery.

The redeeming quality of this place is the food. Otherwise the cafe is hot, you have no cell service and I’m sorry but in 2025 why do they not have WiFi? I couldn’t even get an uber to get out of there. This has not only happened to me but my friends as well when they have visited. It’s a safety concern. I ended up having to pay for Wi-Fi just to leave. I waited 20 minutes for toast when I was only one of two people in the cafe. The staff are short at best and very consistently rude. They didn’t have a place to put your dishes that I could find so I cleaned up my trash as best I could and left my one plate and one cup. Was yelled at as I left so I walked back in to buss my dishes after I said sorry I couldn’t see anywhere to put them. It felt like they wanted to embarrass me. I very much regret tipping on my TWO purchases I made and hate that I spent money here. I will never go back.
Megan — Google review
Had a lovely morning walk to Tulie last week after reading so many great reviews. I’m a huge croissant fanatic, so of course I had to try one! The service was on point and the coffee was delicious. The croissant itself was buttery, flaky, and really well made. I went with the egg and cheese croissant — the cheese was perfect, but I did wish there was a bit more egg to balance it out. The ratio was just slightly off, but overall still a delicious breakfast and a great spot to start the day.
Sejal P — Google review
Overall feeling underwhelmed with the experience here. Service left a lot to be desired, we came at a not so busy time but there was still limited staff and a wait. Our order was just left on the counter without letting us know, rather than brought to the table or even calling our name. Pastries were high quality and served cold. Drip coffee was great, no issues. No free Wi-Fi in sight, which seems strange for the environment they have and limited or ability to stay here to enjoy our food and drinks. Most jarring here is the pricing ($7+ for a croissant!). Without ordering specialty drinks we spent more than $13 per person. Far more than I would expect for small cafe.
Laurel B — Google review
Favorite bakery in town! Everything here is so tasty and really just done right. We love everything here, but my favorite is the sticky bun. I always ask for it to be warmed up. We also got a piece of the Yuzu Olive Oil cake today, thought it was a little too sweet. But, it was still good none the less.
Jeff T — Google review
I'm a flight attendant, and I love going to different bakeries on my layovers. I went here on Friday Aug 22 around 1:00. The man taking orders at the counter was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I ordered the ricotta toast, which was good. Its important to note that my cell phone stopped getting service in this area (I have ATT), I couldnt access maps, messages wouldn't send or receive, and I was traveling for work so I was using uber and Lyft. My phone was trying so hard to work that it began over heating. I couldn't call an uber to get back to my hotel, so I asked if they had wifi. I was rudely told no they don't in order to keep people from being on laptops, I understand, but I explained it was a safety issue and I couldn't get cell service to get back to my hotel and it was over 3 miles, too far to walk. I ended up walking about a half mile until I got to an area where I had cell reception. Overall this was a very uncomfortable negative experience and I did not feel safe. I ended up having to walk about half a mile and have my boyfriend send me an uber from 1,000 miles away. All of this could have been avoided if the staff put any effort into customer service or had an ounce of compassion. When it's a matter of safety, I feel like the shop's WiFi should be made available. The food was fine, not worth all the trouble and there's definitely better options with owners and staff who are more deserving of your money.

Great bakery for coffee, sandwiches and baked goods. Can’t go wrong with any of the baked goods. Cookies are buttery good. Staff is very nice and friendly. It’s usually busy all times of the day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I tried this place a few days ago and I’m still thinking about how good it was! We don’t normally eat things sugary like this, although if you want to live a little this place is really good! We had their avocado toast as well as their almond croissant and they were the best of its kind we have ever had!

Bakery
Carlucci's Bakery is a charming Italian establishment located near Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City. It offers a modest seating area and an array of delectable breads, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. The breakfast menu features creative quiches, omelets, tofu scramble, yogurt with house-made granola, and ham and cheese croissant sandwiches.
DELISH croissant!!! So flaky and tasty. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an almond croissant and both were very good!! Not as strong as an almond flavor in other almond croissants I’ve had. We also got a lemon cookie and it was fine. Wouldn’t recommend the cookie. This place also gets packed so we had to eat outside.
Gabrielle B — Google review
I love their cupcakes and I am not a cupcake lover, their cheesecake is so good too. The staff was super kind to take extra time to find desserts I could eat with food intolerances. They said they make everything fresh here. Their chai pudding is very yummy tasting as well. I was not a big fan of the lemon tart, felt very sour and strong but I tend to eat more light flavors for lemon desserts. Felt a little funny having things rung up where I couldn’t easily see or tap to pay. Also a bit bummed out that their desserts can’t be ordered online for delivery as it’s a bit of a drive and def craving their desserts as they are so good. Even the store next door loves them. Happy to have found this place on my way to buying things next door.

Love this little café. Nice variety on their menu. They serve breakfast all day, and have several delicious goodies to choose from too. Food is prepared fresh with care, so be prepared to wait a bit for your order.
Christie A — Google review
I stopped in this morning in a little bit of a rush to work and I'm so glad I did! I got the cold brew, the jalapeño/potato pastry, and the ham, caramelized onion, and swiss quiche. WOW that quiche was AMAZING! They also had my order ready so quickly. They have uncooked fettuccini pasta as coffee stirrers, which I loved ♻️ Also I love that they go the extra mile to freeze their cold brew into ice cubes to serve in the cold brew! I didn't feel rushed to drink my coffee for fear that it will water down. I'll definitely go back! Also the staff were all so kind and pleasant. The inside is cute too, this would be a cute date spot to split an afternoon cheesecake ❤️

Stoped by for a breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon. The staff was kind and helpful to take my order while I was multi tasking on a call. I love getting fresher baked goods and this place was fabulous. A definite place to try if you’re in town.

The most incredible restaurant I’ve been to in slc and I’ve lived here my whole life! Their food is so, so fresh and delicious. Everything feels like it’s been made with love, attention, and care. The staff is some of the most friendly, welcoming people I’ve met and they are always eager to assist. I’ve seen the owner on site a few times, and she also seems like a dream. If I’ve heard correctly, her family is Italian and the food absolutely reflects Italian values. I dream about coming here on weekends, and every loved one I’ve brought here is just as obsessed. 10/10, there are no poor menu choices.

The best fruit tart that I’ve ever tried…Period. Nice little spot with friendly service. The fruit tart was amazing. The cannoli and black/white cookie was just Ok.
Sal Q — Google review
**Cannoli Review ** Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, reasonably priced coffee, ok cannolis. I liked that they pipe them to order. My shell tasted a bit burnt, and it wasn’t completely full in the centre. I’ve been spoiled by the east coast cannolis (Mike’s Pastry, Boston MA), so it’s tough to find a place similar.

Mrs. Backer's Pastry Shop, a historic family-owned bakery in Salt Lake City, has been serving delightful pastries since 1941. Located on South Temple St., the shop has maintained its original design and continues to exude charm and history.
Mrs. Backer’s is a gem! I ordered a 1/4 sheet pan of vanilla cake with lemon buttercream in the middle, and it was so good. While the cake itself was a tad dry, the frosting was an absolute 10/10—perfectly creamy and flavorful. The quick, ready-to-pick-up turnaround made the experience even better. Walking into the shop, you’re greeted by the most delightful aromas that make you want to buy one of everything. Plus, they have the cutest knickknacks to browse while waiting in line. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious baked goods!

Such a delightful bakery. It's no wonder people come from all over the metro area & beyond for that special one of a kind birthday cake, pies & cookies. Staff are on hand to help you find that special treat for any occasion.

Melt in your mouth pineapple rum cake 🤤🤤 The apple fritter was amazing, the perfect amount of apple, cinnamon and frosting not too crunchy or too soft. Wasn't a fan so much of the chocolate chip cookie dough. The blackberry cream cheese danish was delectable as well as the cream cheese danish. The chocolate chip cookies were so good.

Super awesome classic old style bakery. Cheese danish was delicious cookies are out of control. A must visit in slc

If you are a pastry, cookie, cake and a few knick, knacks. This this place is a must. 80 years young and going strong. I am not afraid to admit I drive 2 hours for this treat.
Chester J — Google review
Though I only enjoy a small few treats here I absolutely love stopping here as often as I can to visually enjoy the beauty and artistry of each dessert. Its a feeling of going back in time. I actually only enjoy the snicker doodles where taste is concerned and its hit and miss there but I absolutely love all there is to see including the decorations and i love getting a treat there for someone else. Ill add pictures
Daris K — Google review
My first time here and from seeing so many reviews I’ve been wanting to try it. I love decor, it’s very cute inside. The large glass cases allows you to see everything they have. The line was long but moved fast. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. The cakes are made with real butter and you can taste the quality of the freshness. I wasn’t a fan of the cookies. The cakes tasted delicious but are very rich. When I saw the total at the end I was kinda shocked at how expensive it was. I’d go back and give it another try, my overall experience was okay. The staff are friendly. Luckily we found parking on the side of the building but there’s a lot of traffic the area.

Mrs. Backer's Pastry Shop isn't just a culinary delight; it's a visually charming escape. The shop itself is adorned in the most adorable decor, enhancing the entire experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted not only by the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked goods but also by the whimsical and cute surroundings that add an extra layer of joy to the visit. It's not just a bakery; it's a sweet escape into a world of delicious treats and charming aesthetics. Mrs. Backer's truly has the recipe for a perfect indulgence, both for the taste buds and the eyes.

Vosen's Bread Paradise is a century-old European bakery located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Owned by German-born master baker Markus Vosen, this family-owned bakery offers a wide variety of authentic German baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, and coffee. From soft pretzels to French baguettes and seasonal treats like christstollens and zimtsternes (yuletide cinnamon stars), the bakery has something for every palate.
What a cute little German bakery!🥰 You want some fresh bread, pastries, and sandwiches this place is for you! I like their cronuts, but the filling is not evenly distributed, breakfast sandwiches, and their Chai latte is good. You have to try it iced. It's worth the visit and worth the $$. A must try if you're in the area! One for the books.
Latuniua T — Google review
Pretty good bakery! We got some of the famous cronuts as well as some breads. The pastries were tasty and reasonably priced. This shop also doubles as an import grocery. Service was kind of lackluster sadly, there was a weirdly long wait considering the shop was almost empty and the staff just wasn't very friendly. Overall, it's not a bad bakery. There are better alternatives in the area in my opinion but outside of the service I didn't have any issues.
Jake P — Google review
Vosen’s Bread Paradise is such a cozy and calm spot. The baked goods are delicious, and I love that they have cakes for every taste—some nice and light, not too sweet. The coffee is good (about 7.5/10), and they carry lots of authentic German products too. Overall, it’s a charming place I’d happily give 5 stars.
Olga S — Google review
What a wonderful little German bakery in the heart of Salt Lake City. We've just enjoyed a slice of delicious Bienenstich cake and are looking forward (next morning at breakfast) to sharing a slice of Mohnkuchen and Zwetschenkuchen. In addition to offering delicious breads, pastries, and other baked goods, the shop is full of imported delicacies from marzipan pigs to Mozartkugeln to jars of red cabbage, sauerkraut, and sour cherries from Germany. All this, and the two young people working behind the counter couldn't have been nicer and friendlier the two times we've stopped in to buy things.

The service was great. We enjoyed a nice selection of 12 unique donut selections for a business meeting. Waited for our Uber with some delicious coffee. Lots of fun stuff in the store with interesting German vibe.

What an excellent dining experience. In this part of town I would not expect such a nice place to dine. But it really is quite nice. The food is delicious and gourmet, it is well put together and the wait staff was extremely polite and helpful. I absolutely will be coming back here again. So many handmade pastries and cakes to choose from, and the chai tea latte was amazing. This place rivals gourmandise for sure.

Busy spot, but it's definitely worth the hype. They offer so many varieties of delicious delights. We had the banana french toast, chicken panini, blueberry turnover, and something rum puff. 😋 Will pass on the rum puff next time but the other food was super nummmy. Our waitress was lovely. Will definitely be back. Thank you <3

Can’t say enough good about this place. Great service, reasonable prices and amazing food. The breakfast sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had. The house made yogurt was unlike any I’ve tried in all the best ways.

Delice French Bakery & Cafe is a very pleasant place to grab a bite to eat. The food is fresh and the menu offers a variety selections. Our waitress was friendly and took very good care of us. Be sure to save room for the wide variety of French desserts. There are plenty to choose from and they are all fresh. This is a great local favorite eatery. You will be able to tell by the steady stream of customers coming in to pick up desserts to go. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing find! This place has an amazing selection of bakery items and a menu filled with amazing looking food to order. We had the blueberry grilled cheese. I had the soup and my friend had a salad. Both were very good. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give more than five stars. I came into town to cook for a group of executives working. It was important to me that I serve them pastries that not only were beautiful, but were also made with high-quality ingredients that were easy to digest. These pastries were the highlight of our breakfast and I will be back here every time I’m in town.

Why have I not done a review for this place before I do not know. Because I love coming here! The service is fabulous, ask for Sol! I have never had anything here that wasn’t wonderful and I loved their oatmeal lattes! It’s a great place to come to meet a friend. And when she’s tardy you can get two lattes!
Roxy C — Google review
I've been here once before, and I liked it then. This time, however, really let me down. I started with the caprese sandwich with chips. It was quite good, but the sandwich would not stay together and was a bit soggy. I was effectively grabbing a handful of dripping sandwich ingredients in a pile because the bread was in pieces and dissolving. I then got a Milles Feuilles and a Hazelnut Latte. The Milles Feuilles was a disaster. It was very sweet, first of all. There was no balance to the flavors, so it was just sweet white chocolate top on sweet cream and puff pastry with the flavors fighting for most prominent. The layers for the pastry seemed kind of smashed together, not distinct and delicate as I thought they should be. I also noticed something black in the cream, and upon digging it out, discovered a bug immersed in the pastry. Bad enough that it was so sweet I didn't even want it, the bug guaranteed I didn't try to finish it. The latte, I asked first if they had hazelnut flavoring, and they told me they did. When I got the latte, I couldn't taste the hazelnut, but didn't say anything because I was thinking maybe it just wasn't a very strong syrup. However, when charged, I saw that I was being charged extra for almond milk instead. While I am not opposed to almond milk, it isn't what I asked for. I just paid it because I was already so done by that time. The serving staff was kind and attentive. Both the at-table servers and the pastry counter servers seemed invested in my experience. They were very apologetic about the bug, which is really the only thing I brought directly to them. I think they would have fixed the coffee if I'd told them.

Pub
The Beehive Pub & Grill is a casual eatery offering an extensive American menu with homemade gelato, microbrews, and root beer. It's known for its lively atmosphere and delicious grill-focused meals paired with local brews. As the city's only root beer brew pub, it also serves a variety of homemade sodas that perfectly complement their dishes.
We loved it here! We got the au gratin potato soup, beer cheese soup, and pot roast dinner, and a fish bowl cocktail. Everything was delicious! The portions are perfect. We timed it perfectly for no wait for a table but they do offer reservations in advance.

First time to the restaurant, I ordered the boneless chicken wings appetizer and it was good. Little bit on the asian sweeter side, it would have been great if they put more of a kick or spice to it. Entree was the Texas Brisket Burger (well done), everything was good when until I tried the coleslaw and it was plain, boring, and a waste of cabbage. The coleslaw that came with the boneless wings was far better. Beehive pub & grill was good enough that I would come back for a second try. Hopefully with better results.

We stopped for dinner on our way back from Bear Lake State Park. We had a small wait but it was busy for a Saturday night. Our server was excellent, the meals were good and excellent portions. Overall we thought the prices were reasonable. Totally recommend if in the area.

Came with a party of 8 for lunch. We were seated quickly and the staff was quick to get us taken care of. I ordered the "Beer Battered" fish tacos with a salad and house dressing to match. Both were absolutely amazing! The rice was great as well. I will be telling others to check this place out.

Great time and great food! The burger was delicious and the fries were nice and crispy. There was five of us and the booths were big enough for our party.

I eat here often because several family members and friends have celiac disease, and this is one of the best gluten-free restaurants in the valley. The portions are generous, and the gelato is absolutely top-notch. I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy here. I did have one cup of beer cheese soup recently that wasn’t good at all, but it’s normally great. Everyone’s allowed a one-off! The quality is consistently high, and I especially appreciate their seasonal menus that include everything from cocktails to appetizers, entrées, and desserts. I recently had a peach Neapolitan made with fresh Brigham City peaches that was to die for, and their summer salads are outstanding. One with roasted beets and fresh croutons was so good it actually made me like salad (and that’s saying something.) My favorite dish is the Asian chicken, but the fish and chips are excellent, the burgers are great, and the Asian-glazed salmon is delicious. The pot roast is fine but not my favorite. I adore the coconut shrimp, and the coconut shrimp tacos are chef’s kiss. Their spinach artichoke dish is also amazing. If you have anyone in your family who’s gluten-free, this is the place to go...everyone will find something they love.

This is such a great spot in Logan. The wings are a great appetizer (or entrée), get them. The kids menu fish and chips are a surprisingly good portion size, and the beer battered fries are excellent. My only two critiques: I wish they used cardboard boxes instead of Styrofoam and the music was a bit loud over our table. Give Beehive Grill a try!
B. F — Google review
Our server was excellent—attentive and always aware of our table’s needs. My chicken Caesar salad was a generous portion, and the chicken was flavorful and well-prepared. My son’s cheeseburger, however, came out well done instead of the medium he requested. My other son’s grilled cheese was underwhelming and not worth ordering again. My wife enjoyed her Hungry Hawaiian Double Stack, though both patties were cooked well done instead of medium, as requested. Overall, great service and decent food, but the kitchen tends to overcook burgers.

Eva's Bakery is a charming bakeshop located in the heart of Salt Lake City, offering a delightful selection of bread, French pastries, sandwiches, and more. This photogenic French bakery is known for its delectable coffee and pastries, making it a popular spot for breakfast and early afternoon visits.
Shout out to Tate, he’s the reason this place is getting 5 stars. Overall we were happy with our experience, we didn’t have to wait long to be sat and attended, Tate had stellar customer service! I’m typically not a fan of scalloped potatoes, however, the seasoning that was used on Eva’s scalloped potatoes is unmatched. The vinaigrette used on the mixed greens was amazing and our entrees were delicious. The atmosphere made me feel as if i were in Paris, a very cute bakery I would 10/10 recommend. This bakery exceeded my expectations, thank you Eva’s bakery and Tate!

Eva’s was recommended to us by the hotel staff when we were looking for a delicious and unique breakfast spot. It’s located on a busy downtown street along the trolley line, in a vintage building painted in blue and gold. There are café tables out front under shady trees, and inside you’ll find an amazing counter of pastries and sandwiches, with additional seating in the back. Hint: Many people stand in line, order, and take their food and drinks to-go. If you want to sit in the restaurant, you can skip the line and wait by the dining area. A staff member will ask if you’d like a table and will seat you. We came on two consecutive mornings (because the first visit was so good). Over our two visits, we tried the Almond Chocolate Croissant, Vegetable Quiche, and Roasted Beef & Avocado Toast. Everything was excellent — fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and beautifully presented. You can tell they make everything with care. They also offer all the usual coffee drinks, and my London Fog Tea Latte was very good. Service on both visits was professional, efficient, and patient. Even though it was always busy, we never felt rushed. The dining room was full but quiet enough to have a conversation. I would have loved to take more pastries to-go, but we were too full. Definitely a place we’d return to!

This place has the cutest little Parisian café vibe! We stopped in for breakfast before an event, and I immediately added it to my list of go-to spots. It was a busy morning, but they got us seated quickly. I’m not usually an eggs Benedict girl, but the Boulange Benedict is absolute perfection!! …and that sauce?! 😋 Consider me officially converted. The portions are generous, so definitely grab a cookie butter latte (trust me!) and a croissant to go. The staff couldn’t be sweeter or more attentive, and the cozy blue-and-gold café aesthetic will make you want to linger all morning. 💙☕️✨
Lacey C — Google review
Their bakery and cafe items are outstanding. Had a very large eggs Benedict on fresh bread, covered in Benedict sauce that was also quite fresh (this is not usually the case!). My bene came with the choice of either their house potatoes, a green salad, or half of each, offering a lighter accompaniment to an otherwise decadent dish, which is awesome to see. My mocha was nicely balanced and not overly sweet, another thing that can be difficult to find! Service was prompt. Parking could be a serious challenge, thanks to the location downtown, but well worth it.

What a gem! We had just landed in SLC and this is the first place we stopped. The food was fantastic! The coffee was strong and rich, as I prefer. My wife said it was the best cinnamon roll she’s ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Highly recommend

Cute little cafe with good vibe and foods. I went there with my friend and her kid for brunch and ordered a few things and we all enjoyed the food. The portion is good and the price is reasonable. Our egg benedict was tasty and the stuffed french toast was also good. Now, what I didn’t really like about the place is how tiny it is. With 2 adults and a baby, we were seated at a tulip table. We almost couldn’t put everything on the table. I think the restaurant should sacrifice some tables to put a bigger table. Most of the seat I see is probably suitable for one customer with only a few tables that can comfortably seat more. If you go there by yourself, this is great or if you go on a date, it is borderline ok. If you want to go with family or friends more than two people, I will think twice unless you are ok to wait for the only few bigger tables they have. Our server was ok, while being polite, I don’t think he did a great job. When we asked if we can be reseated in the bigger table, he just disappeared on us. I understand if other customers are waiting or something but at least he should let us know the reason and not just like “I’ll ask my manager” then gone till the food-serving time and made a comment like “it’s pretty tight here”…duh? That’s why we asked for another table. He also came and asked us to pay while the baby was still eating and I totally get it. Although, he grabbed a plate that there was still food in there (not a lot) without asking (technically he asked if he could removed my empty plate and I said yes, but that doesn’t apply to another plate with food in it). So, in summary, I like the food and the vibe. The space and service were ok and can be improved. Like I said earlier, come try for yourself or with one more company.

It was very crowded around 11:00 on a Sunday. Since I was alone, I was shown to a small space early. The eggs Benedict were very delicious, and the takeaway croissants and blueberry Danish were also excellent. The staff were very attentive and it was a great place.

I found this while searching ‘gluten free breakfast’ and options were limited for my date- but everything was delicious!! The staff was amazing, especially when we had to narrow down options for gf, the Eggs Benedict was made with potatoes instead of bread, and it was great! She was a little tortured by all the beautiful croissants and pastries that I could eat, lol. The quality of the food was gourmet- a master level bakery! You have the option to sit down - and it’s impressive how fast they can seat you! Or you can get a coffee and pastry like at a regular coffee shop at the counter. This was a fun meal and a good place to bring out of town guests for a great experience! When you can eat gluten, it’s even better! I got the French toast made with fluffy bread and a light lemon cream cheese filling. When ordering the team is great at personalizing the dish with swap outs and add ons.

In addition to their famous doughnuts, the bakery offers a tempting selection of cakes, pies, breads, and cookies - including the highly recommended pumpkin chocolate chip cookie.
Peak Business Valuation bought around 450 mini frosted donuts for an SBA lending conference in Salt Lake City this Wednesday and Thursday. With coffee in hand, we stopped in the Lehi Bakery. It would be crowded shortly, but it was not when we arrived. There was a good selection of donuts and some breakfast and dinner rolls. They did not have my favorite, a bear claw, but offered a good variety of maple bars and square donuts. All the offerings were average. The seating is limited so various sized pink to go boxes are provided. I would strong suggest eating outside and enjoying the mountain views.

FIVE STARS! My friend and I visited the Lehi Bakery yesterday, and we both bought a WONDERFUL variety of doughnuts, square doughnuts, bars, cookies, and brownies. Cozy restaurant with friendly staff serving up amazing pastries, breakfast entrees, and lunch fare. The pastries are exceptional. You can see and taste the quality. As a hard core drip coffee lover, their policy of charging for refills is somewhat irritating, but if you're going for the pastries and baked goods, you will not be disappointed.

MUST VISIT. Incredible experience. In town shortly for work, wife’s birthday was today. Stopped in on a tip from a chef friend, left delighted! She really loves her birthday and the staff made a big deal about it in a super fun way. She felt super celebrated. The kouign amann was life changing. And peep that croissant! Incredible. Canelé was great. I mean everything was great. Go here.

Stopped by here for the yelp elite event and ended up ordering some things as well. First i loved how quaint of a space it is. It made me feel like I was in a cafe in france. The service was also very good. The gentleman that helped me was super nice and attentive. The yelp kit came with a variety of minni croissants/beads which were all incredibly tasty especially the chocolate filled one. Along with it I ordered the Kouign Amann, the Passion Puff, and the rice pudding. The first was delicious and was very similar to bread pudding but way better. It seemed creamier and heartier, yet not overly sweet. It was perfect. The Passion Puff i was playing suprised by. It has a pistachio cream filling that was so unique. I had never had something like that before. It has the texture of creme but a taste that was barely sweet and almost had hints of being savory. It was very fun and tasty too try. The rice pudding was pretty basic and comparable to others that I've had. I did love it's presentation though. I also found out whole i was there that they make homemade panetone. I didn't know anywhere here, especially in utah would make this bread that is so common in my home country of brazil. I'm excited to order it in the future and try it out!!

Quaint, lovely, delicious! A unique café specializing in French pastries and desserts. There is a cute, outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. The storefront is petite with a large interior, plenty of French kitchen and home good items to shop while waiting. I ordered a “Tokyo tea” (matcha latte) with almond milk, a canele, samosa croissant, and madeleine. Any wait is worth the adorable packaging, though my wait was quite short. The latte came with a mini-Madeleine, too cute and very delicious. No added sugars or syrups in the latte, it was just as I expected. The samosa croissant is highly recommended! Filling, light, perfect croissant breading. The Madeleine was a bit over baked for me. The shop overall is really charming and the pastries are, though few in option, quite delicious. I would visit again, especially since it’s unique to the area and I love a flaky croissant.
Sophie W — Google review
I bought the croissant, kougin amann, passion fruit, canele, and a tart strawberry.  The dough of the kouign amann was smooth and flaky with individual layers, but had a very rough coating of sugar on top. Not sure if there was not enough butter to caramelize, but this was detrimental to the experience.  To me the passion fruit was by far the best of the lot. There's a lot of thought going into the filling, and it's absolutely delicious.  The caneles have the crunchy and smooth texture which is all too fun dichotomous. Sweetened mildly, these are best eaten at BULK. Don't just stop, get more. There was healthy strawberry tart. Surely be back here soon!

Nestled in a cozy corner, Windy Ridge Bakery is a delightful find for those with a sweet tooth. This charming bakery, located next to its namesake cafe, boasts an impressive selection of delectable treats such as cookies, petite cakes, tarts, eclairs, and croissants. Among the crowd favorites are the breakfast pastries and the indulgent chocolate raspberry chiffon cake.
Lots of choices to choose from! They even had dog treats they make too which was super cute! The 17 year old at the counter was very people friendly and professional! We got a bunch of cookies, kids loved them. They even have a little section for “day old” goodies too instead of throwing them out which is nice! Very friendly staff for sure! They also have a loyalty program as well!

As a local Park City Realtor, I love coming to Windy Ridge Bakery for open houses, parties and just for daily life. Their breads and sweet treats are all baked on the premises. They bring in food for takeout from local restaurants, which is perfect for people who don’t like to cook, or don’t want to cook while visiting Park City. My clients love the pies and treats I deliver to them for closings and for holidays.

This little gem hiding behind their cafe was heaps of fun. They were patient with our questions and indecisiveness, which is always a good quality in a place where the more they answer, the more I buy. I have only tried one of the treats we bought so far, the fruit tart with a chocolate crust. The crust was decidedly unsweet, which I really enjoyed combined with the pastry cream and fresh fruit. One of the best tarts I've had. They close early, though, so swing by for breakfast or take show treats for dessert later.

Very disappointed to spend $35 on a large peach/raspberry pie that was almost inedible. The peaches were crunchy, and the interior so liquid that the crust was completely soggy. Couldn't even cut into pieces that stayed together. A sad end to our family dinner.

Well worth its five-star rating on Google Maps. The pastries are flaky and buttery, with tons of flavor. The baguettes are crunchy and delicious. I had the BEST Cafe Rio ever tonight! Sebastian provided amazing customer service and I certainly left with a smile. Drayden also helped finish my salad and was very efficient. I go to Cafe Rio at least once every 2 weeks and will ALWAYS choose them over Costa Vida. They have better food, serving sizes, and customer service. Everyone in the restaurant was no nice and smiling. I always see commend going inside if you can versus the drive thru. Overall I highly recommend Cafe Rio on Main Street in Logan!
Aliyah R — Google review
Café Rio 200 North Main in Logan: The Burrito Brothel of Broken Dreams Let me start by saying—I *want* to like this Café Rio. I really did. The name suggests something cozy, maybe even a little tropical, like a beachside taco joint where the guac flows like margaritas. What I got instead was a front-row seat to a culinary crime scene. Walking in, I was greeted by the smell of... something. Hard to say what. Maybe beans. Maybe regret. As I waited my turn and considered my order, I had plenty of time to admire the steam table—aka the Sad Buffet of Questionable Choices. Now, I’ve seen some things in my life, but watching a server scrape the last of the beans from a bean encrusted, stained steam table pan like she was trying to summon a genie was a new low. The sound? Imagine someone dragging a shovel across a sidewalk while muttering under their breath. This went on for what felt like a full minute. Then—without even wiping it out—she fished a fresh plastic bag of beans out of a giant pot full of other random plastic bags like she was choosing a winner in a very sad raffle, and dumped it *directly* into the same pan she had just been scraping like it owed her money. I audibly whispered, “Noooo,” like I was watching a horror movie as I realized my bean serving consisted of a mix of new and old beans / crusty bean scrapings. I imagined how many time this scene played out today. I wondered how many bags of beans had been dumped into this poor sad serving pan that was crying out desperate for a trip through the dishwasher. The food? Meh. Not terrible, not great. The tortillas were fine, the shredded chicken was… hot, I guess. But everything tasted like it had been made by someone who heard about flavor once in a podcast. The rice was confused, the beans though freshly dispensed from their plastic source were tired, and the salsa was there mostly for moral support. I *really* wanted this to be my new spot. It’s close to my house, the other Café Rios I’ve been to were really pretty good and the staff seem like they’re trying. But Café Rio, I can’t unsee what I saw. You’re officially on my “Never Again, Even If I’m Starving” list.

I’m a huge cafe rio fan, basically begged my wife to come here. Didn’t bother to check the reviews because I always love cafe Rio, but I wish I had. I always get the sweet pork enchiladas, and today the pork just tasted like nothing. Everything seemed to be watery and pool in the bottom of my plate, and my rice was actually hard enough to crunch when I chewed, like fingernails. Wife said that the salad was quite bland. Service was great, but didn’t make up for the food issues. Music was quite loud and obnoxious too, only songs we heard were overplayed pop songs that gave me a headache. Overall super disappointed because I love cafe Rio, and I was so excited try this new Logan location as I moved to college. Looks like I’ll only be having it in Utah valley from now on.

I ordered a salad. The gentleman grabbed a tortilla that had been sitting on the stove for who knows how long. The tortilla was hard. The ranch was runny. The manager checked me out and said I could get a free drink if I wrote a review. I said sure and she said she needed to show me how to do the review and asked for my phone. I gave it to her and it was taking her a while to give my phone back I thought she was just pulling up the screen to write it. I look over and she’s giving herself 5 stars on everything and writing her own review. I told her I wanted to write my own review and tried to grab my phone. She would not let go of my phone and I had to pry it out of her hands. So annoying. Food and service 👎🏽 don’t give yourself 5 stars when your tortillas are hard, the drive through was not moving at all which is why we went inside to order. Get your store together ma’am and the reviews will speak for themselves.
Kesaia T — Google review
The food was alright compared to other locations. My tortilla was pretty much uncooked and it threw off the entire burrito I ordered. It felt soggy and doughy, not something you want in burrito. I would recommend Costa Vida in Logan.

We got nachos and they blocked beans and meat right down the center not Spreading them out. Also dumped a chunk of cheese and didn’t melt it. The taco meat was so old and looked unappetizing. I got two Niños for my kids and they were not melted. Really bad service slow waited for 10 minutes before we got help.

Visited on 5/11/25 for dinner. At least five tables were dirty. Utensils were not stocked. Piles of dirty trays at each garbage bin and in plain view in the kitchen. There were five or six employees and no line in the dining room or drive through but we still had to wait to be helped. I think the management of this restaurant is not doing their job because these employees don't appear to be well trained. My visit helped solidify why I prefer Costa Vida.

My original review 8 months ago was of the north Logan location that has now CLOSED. 5/5 This new location in downtown Logan gets a solid 2/5 ⭐️. Food: I got similar salad, but the rice was old dry, meat and beans crusted over and looked questionable, serving station pretty dirty. Grilled chicken dry, tortilla tasted like raw flour. They don’t give you as much salad dressing anymore. So… overall salad was dry. Atmosphere: Dining Music was loud AND the kitchen fiesta music was really loud too. Both were competing with each other. No tables were clean. 7 of 10 hot sauces were empty. Service: I was the only one in line - the guy greeted me with “hi, what do you want”. Very different from the last experience. I wasn’t able to customize my salad before the guy at the register asked me to pay. $16, for a grilled chicken salad and reg drink. Probably won’t go back to this location. Old review: If you love Mexican food and salads, this is the place! I got the chicken (pollo asado) tostada with ranch dressing, and my mom got the signature sweet pork salad with a vinaigrette dressing. 10/10! The staff was super friendly, and they sang a song when the couple behind us ordered nachos. You must try the mint limeade! 🤤 they also had other soda , lemonades, and Horchata. I love the bright colors and friendly staff.

Bianca's La Petite French Bakery is an adorable pastry shop with a wide array of delectable treats to choose from. They offer a variety of options such as macarons, croissants, fruit tarts, and cannolis. However, what really caught my attention were their mouthwatering cronuts. These delectable pastries taste incredible! In addition to their pastries, they also serve sandwiches and drinks.
After I dined at the local bar, I decided that I had a hankering for sweets. Enter Bianca's La Petite French Bakery! I walked in and I could smell sweetness in the air, pleasing my nose. I looked at the displays and saw rows and rows of sweets! They were BEAUTIFUL. Glazed fruits, sprinkled sugars and cocoa, puffy pastries--pleasing my eyes, and then I saw something amazing...it was called a KRONUT! Apparently this is a donut-shaped croissant. Light and flaky layers of pastry surrounding a light, foamy, creamy filling! I decided on Mango! I made the right choice. It was DELICIOUS--pleasing my taste buds. Check the photo, man! I also ordered a glazed fruit tart for tomorrow because tomorrow is Friday and that's always a celebration. I'll be here again because the sweets were sweeting!

It's a relatively small shop, but there are tables and chairs inside if you want to sit and eat inside. You've likely heard about their cronuts, which are croissant donuts. Definitely worth trying. The Baklava was good as well. They have a good selection of both food and drinks, ranging from macarons to even sandwiches, with different coffees, teas, and even smoothies if my memory serves right. I could see this as a nice place to relax and get some studying or some work done with some treats to keep you energized. This place is nice. Definitely recommend.

Very yummy- the croissant turned into a donut is really good! I reccomend the dulce de leche flavor. Key lime tart wasn't that good, the crust was intresting.. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Try this out!

Bianca’s La Petite French Bakery is a hidden gem in Provo. Every pastry in the case looked absolutely amazing — it was honestly hard to make a decision because everything was so tempting. I ended up going with the Kro-nut, and it was a great choice! Flaky, buttery, and perfectly sweet. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area and craving something delicious.

Sugar rush!!! Had raspberry key lime tart and lemon macaron....wonderful! Topped off with Chai tea, which was very good, one of better ones I've had. They had lovely looking sandwiches for breakfast or lunch that looked really good but was too full from dessert. But some had jalapeños and I absolutely love them. Would definitely recommend if you like sweets or need food!

Discovered this hidden gem in Provo while walking about the city. I ordered a Nutella croissant and it was so delicious I didn't have time to take a picture as I was devouring it. Well made pastries and a friendly staff to boot.

This place is a 10/10! There is a wide selection of both sweet and savory pastries that are baked to perfection! We tried the lemon bars (they were delicious and without a sharp tang), a fudge macaroon, a dulce de leche kro-nut (it was absolutely to die for, perfectly fluffy) and a slice of carrot cake. I will absolutely be going back because there are so many more things to try!

City Cakes & Cafe is a locally-owned bakeshop with two locations, known for its wide variety of vegan and gluten-free desserts and breads. Founded in 2010, the shop carefully selects vegan and plant-based ingredients to create decadently delicious cakes that cater to various dietary needs without compromising on taste or aesthetics. Their stunning tiered wedding cakes feature creative custom designs and meet gluten sensitivities with alternative flours.
City cakes has some of the best cakes ever. I’ve only ever had their cakes but they’re always extremely delicious. I have reviewed the Midvale location in the past and this reviews for the Salt Lake City location. Their customer service was top-tier. I showed up one late evening and had asked them to write “Happy Birthday” on an already-made cake where they responded and said they’re “not really confident in their ability & that I should come back tomorrow”. So, I came back the next day and had a cake decorator write “Happy Birthday”, but everybody was so friendly. I was happy about the experience. I don’t have any dietary restrictions and neither does my family, but I always get the cake from City Cakes because they’re just so good. The cake pictured is vanilla and was a little over $30.

City Cakes has the best Vegan desserts I have ever had. Their cakes and pastries are incredible, and the decorations are gorgeous. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had their vegan carrot cake. 10/10 recommend. Can't wait to try more. They also offer gluten free versions of their cakes. Haven't tried those yet, but I am positive they are just as amazing.

It was a true gem of a spot! Cookies galore! I'm delighted to have found such a cute spot with a take and go fridge that included items like Mac & cheese and chkn salad (everything is vegan) for a quick lunch. There is also a shaded outdoor seating area on the right of the establishment. There are so many wonderful options available for baked goods it was a little overwhelming to chose. Always a great problem to have! I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter cookie, and a pecan sandie (the classics!). The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly and engaged, the display case was everything. The cakes are beautiful. These cookies were the perfect thank you gift for a friend. They even packaged the cookies in a box as I was flying back home with them later that day! They arrived safely to their destination.🙂

I have been here twice. About 4 years ago I had googled “gluten free bakery” and they came up. I ordered a large sheet cake - with gluten, lol - and a personalized layer cake, gluten free, for whom we were having a retirement party. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this place is. The staff was so helpful, I’d never ordered GF before (and only once since) and they helped me choose a flavor, helped me with icing choices, everything I needed. When I picked up the cakes I was astonished at how beautiful they were. Not that I was expecting anything bad, but they truly were beautiful. The flavors of each cake were delicious and the attendees raved. I ordered enough for our guests and, unlike a lot of retailers, we had PLENTY for everyone. No scrimping needed! When it came time for me to order another cake (funny enough another retirement party!) and they wanted a GF option I knew exactly where to go. Again, amazing staff, beautiful product. All of this, I expected, to be pretty pricey. I mean you get to choose your cake, the icings, combination of flavors (icing and any kind of filling for layers), decorating, and message if wanted. But when I saw the invoice I was taken aback! By how reasonable the cost was!! The pricing is in line with what I’d expect for any random bakery, but what you get for that price is, to be kind of silly, priceless. Thank you for making the 2 events for which I needed cakes successful. I made sure to tell everyone who made any comment on the cakes where they came from and will ALWAYS recommend this store!!

I purchased 3 cupcakes yesterday. Marble, orange raspberry and lemon coconut. Every single one of them were the driest cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely no moistness and the icing seemed like it had been on for a while as it was dry as well. If I didn’t live 30 minutes away I would have driven back to your store and asked for a refund. I couldn’t imagine that this was a norm for your product so I’m assuming, little to no attention was being paid to how long your cupcakes are in the display. Just overall really disappointed. I love looking for cupcake shops and trying cupcakes around the country. I’ve never left a negative review before, so I hope you all consider this review enough to make changes. I purchased the cupcakes on 4/28/25 at 4 pm.

The only problem is now I need to hike, jog or run off the calories from over eating it!!! Will definitely be back!! The manager and staff were awesome.

I love the gluten free options! All their food is wonderful but it's the only place I know in all or Utah that makes gluten free and dairy free treats, giving the sugary goodness I've been craving but haven't been able to obtain here. My only complaint is how much potato flour they use. Their treats are still amazing. I wish their cheese didn't contain bell peppers but I can't expect anyone to cater to nightshade allergies and make things gluten-free/vegan.

Provo Bakery is a beloved neighborhood bake shop known for its wide variety of baked goods, including novelty donuts, gourmet pastries, pies, and cookies. The establishment values family and tradition, offering many local favorites such as donuts, cake, cookies, muffins, pastries, and rolls. Customers can order ahead online or visit the shop to explore the colorful selection of treats like rainbow bread, rose iced sugar cookies, and assorted sweet rolls.
We drove past this small local bakery the other day and did a u-turn to make a stop. It did not disappoint. The staff was smiling answering all our questions about the baked goods. We opted for a raspberry fritter. It was good. And a house cinnamon roll that was outstanding. We will be returning for the cinnamon rolls. #shoplocal

Not impressed AT ALL. Thought it would be a fun date night to get a bunch of pumpkin treats for us to taste test. Searched for local bakeries with good reviews and lots of pumpkin goodies and landed on Provo Bakery. I ordered online the day before, drove 30 minutes there and back. When I got home and had a good look at the baked goods I could tell most were over-baked. We tried the pumpkin cake donut, pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, pumpkin chocolate chip muffin (that was missing chocolate chips), pumpkin chocolate chip bread, and pumpkin bar. Pumpkin desserts should always be moist, that's what pumpkin does in baked goods -- adds moisture. Yet almost every one was dry (especially the chocolate chip cookie) and bland, with just a hint of spice in the aftertaste. I'm guessing they used the same batter for every dessert because they all tasted the same. Bland and flavorless. And the bread tasted straight up burnt. The chocolate chips tasted cheap and gritty. Only the donut and bar had any flavor, but it was purely sugar from the sweet glaze and buttercream. I spent $17.50 on desserts that were not worth eating, and went in the trash. Not only that, but the workers barely acknowledged that I was there even though I went straight up to the cash register and there were no other customers. Maybe this bakery has other items that give them good reviews, but these pumpkin desserts are not it, and sadly because there was not a single good item from what I ordered, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Overall it was a nice bakery. I’ve had the doughnuts from here before and they were good. Today I got the no bake bar, peanut butter cup, and a chocolate croissant. In most of the chocolate things it felt like they used chocolate icing instead of chocolate which was especially disappointing for the peanut butter cup. I feel like if they used just normal chocolate for all of those they would have been way better but the chocolate icing just kinda brought them down.

Wonderful donuts! Best we have had in Utah. Would prefer to not have hands in the donut display, but rather have staff with clean hands pulling out the donuts. Also, inside a little crowded, although many might consider it cozy.

This is my first time officially visiting the bakery. I have had their donuts before, but never actually been into the shop. At the time of writing this review, I have been in two times. The first employee working was nice and helpful, she explained to me a little bit about the bakery, what the customer favorites are, and what her personal favorites are. Even though she was helpful, she didn't seem very thrilled to be working. I am reading my review off of the product and the experience. For those who would like to know, she did not put on a mask when I entered. I know that as of now the mask mandate is over in Utah County, but I figured I should let people know that they are not requiring masks for customers (there was at least two other customers not wearing masks). I got a couple donuts, and they were all pretty good! I attached some photos to my review, so you can review what I got there. I went again a few days later - very good stuff. I would give the donuts 5 stars: they were very very good. I would give the overall experience in the bakery 4 stars because the two interactions I had with employees were helpful, but not happy? The second time I went in they did not give me two donuts I asked for (they charged me for one). I am not mad about the experiences, I understand that sometimes work sucks. I hope the owner of the bakery does not read this review and get after those employees, I just want to write a review about the complete experience I had. I absolutely will be returning to the Provo bakery!

So disappointed. We got a dozen donuts and my kids were very disappointed all the donuts taste like lemon because apparently the glaze has lemon in it. Also the s'mores donut is pretty much inedible, I don't even know what it tastes like but chocolate is not one of the flavors. So sad -- this used to be such a great little bakery.

The bakeshop is known for its attention to detail and high-quality ingredients that transport visitors to Paris with every bite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife has been staying at the Grand America since 2014, and I’ve been joining her regularly since 2022 as we travel to Salt Lake City from Pennsylvania for business. BONNE VIE is always one of our favorite stops during our visits. This charming little café inside the hotel consistently delivers some of the best coffee we’ve ever had—and we consider ourselves coffee connoisseurs. Whether it’s their handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, or indulgent milkshakes and ice cream, everything is top notch. The staff is always friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. On this particular visit, Austin went above and beyond—super helpful, kind, and polite. We’ve stayed at some of the nicest hotels in the country, and BONNE VIE continues to stand out as one of our favorite spots anywhere. If I could give it six stars, I would. Highly recommend stopping here whether you’re staying at the hotel or just passing through Salt Lake City.

Doki Doki - Japanese Dessert Café is a modern spot that offers a delightful array of sweet treats. Their specialty lies in crafting mille crepe cakes, which are made by layering thin, crispy-edged crepes with various flavorful fillings such as pastry cream, whipped cream, chocolate ganache, fruit preserves, Nutella, and even savory ingredients like cheese and spinach.
My friend and I came for brunch and we're pleasantly delighted. After we literally spent 30 minutes and 12 dollars later of going thru and buying stickers we ordered. The pancakes are like eating sweet air, I got the melona drink it was delicious too, didnt expect the slight carbonation in it. And the takiyaki stuffed with bacon and cheese and sausage and cheese were amazingly warm 'n gooey. Highly recommend!

The cakes are great, very balanced taste and well made, my only complaint is the wait time. If you sell a piece of cake for 10$ I shouldn’t wait 30 minutes to receive a piece of cake to go, it’s just making my experience something for once a year rather than a place I would want to come weekly. At the busy times there should be 2 persons taking and releasing orders, not a confused one. The space itself cheaply designed and not so clean. But again, the cakes which are the main thing about this place are great and tasty.

We ordered our wedding cake from Doki-Doki after a tasting in spring 2025. We chose our flavors and were told it would be delivered from the Orem location since our wedding was in American Fork. On our wedding day, the cake arrived at 2:40 p.m. — during our ceremony that started at 2 p.m. My husband has texts confirming it was scheduled for noon, though the owner later claimed she told her staff between 12–2. Regardless, there was no communication leading up to this delay. We were left stressed, calling repeatedly, and not knowing whether our wedding cake would arrive at all. We later learned that the staff member originally scheduled to make our cake tiers had an accident the night before. When the cake was delivered, the staff member told us he had been called in on his day off and had to make it from scratch that morning. The owner later denied this, but regardless of the exact details, there was no communication with us about the delay. The one bright spot was Brandon, the baker who rescued the situation. He was kind, apologetic, and clearly went above and beyond to get the cake made and delivered straight from Salt Lake. Unfortunately, his work was overshadowed by the last-minute scramble. You can tell by the posted photos that the frosting had to be rushed and doesn't compare to what their website advertised. The follow-up only made things worse. It took over a month before we could even discuss resolution, since only one manager handles these issues and she was out of town. During that time, my husband went into the store not to “thank the staff,” as the owner later claimed, but specifically to ask about a refund — only to find out she was on vacation and no one else could help us. That left us without support or answers for weeks, which is unprofessional and only added to our frustration. When we finally spoke with the owner, she insisted we had agreed to a contract. But when we asked to see it, she did not provide any signed agreement. Instead, she gave us our invoice and claimed our “contract” was simply what we discussed after our tasting — something we were never told at the time. She also told us that if we had wanted a full refund, we should have refused the cake at the time of delivery. But the cake arrived in the middle of our ceremony. What were we supposed to do — stop the wedding to refuse our cake? That reasoning was unrealistic and dismissive. We originally asked for a 50% refund, but were told only 15% plus a $100 gift card was “standard.” The owner argued this was because she had to buy extra ingredients and pay staff more for the rushed cake. But the flavors we chose are already on their regular menu, and staffing costs are a management responsibility — not the customer’s problem. On top of that, we booked our cake months in advance, so there was plenty of time to plan and budget. After back-and-forth, we settled on a $200 refund because we did not want store credit. The owner also argued that because “all of our guests enjoyed the cake,” a larger refund wasn’t justified. But she wasn’t at our wedding and had no way of knowing what every guest thought. Besides, the issue was never the flavor — it was the fact that the cake arrived late, during our ceremony, with no communication, causing unnecessary stress. Guest enjoyment after the fact does not erase poor service. Finally, we were told that if we followed their Instagram, we would have known about the Orem location closure and other changes. But we don’t use social media, and as paying customers who booked months in advance, it was the bakery’s responsibility to communicate those changes directly. A business cannot rely on customers to “just check Instagram” for critical updates. We don’t fault Brandon who did his best under difficult circumstances, but we do hold management accountable for repeated failures in communication and professionalism. While we appreciate finally receiving some refund, the way this situation was handled fell far short of professional standards and left us feeling let down on our special day.

Spouse loves the cupcakes. They are too dry and sweet for me. Toddler gets lost in the play kitchen and toys. Mini cupcakes are cute. Large variety. No coffee/espresso. Usually pretty empty, which is nice to relax and sample food. Sucks that there is no free water. Can get pretty pricey, usually we spend a full meal’s worth on dessert here.

They have the most unfriendly people working there. I love the cookies (the only reason for 2 stars the employees don't get any stars) and I might just start ordering them online. They are very rude and condescending. I don't think I've ever been treated so poorly anywhere else.

Ordered a cookie for a Birthday and never received it. Called 3 SEPERATE times and was told they would ship it out on 3 DIFFERENT occasions. Still never came. Will never be ordering anything again and will never do business with Mrs. Fields again. Worst customer service, and worse experience with ANY company

Lady is rude. Waited forever for her to come to the counter. Im sorry that you have to actually work and not chat with friends in the food court. Frosted sugar cookies are too sweet.
Vreebee — Google review
Went in to order a birthday cookie cake, was told they are only taking Valentine’s Day orders they have no signs posted anywhere saying they aren’t taking orders other then valentines. And to top it off they aren’t opening until 11:30 and their hours say 11 am. I’ll never do business with them after I waited for 30 minutes to be told that.

Located in the Granary District of Salt Lake City, The Dough Miner is a unique bakery that offers a variety of delectable treats. From traditional and creatively modern Cornish pasties to over-the-top donuts, this spot has something for everyone. The savory Miners Breakfast Pasty and the sweet Good Ol Glazed donut are just a few examples of their diverse menu. Visitors praise the fast service and helpful staff who guide them through the many options available.
This place went viral for a reason! HUGE donuts that are light and fluffy. Soft and fresh bagels! Savory Pasties, which are a hand made pie filled with savory fillings and baked to perfection. We went early to get the best selection and even on a random morning they were busy. Such a yummy place!!

The food was delicious. The server was nice and helpful. We got the food promptly. We picked a good time to go because it wasn’t too busy. We got the Classic Pasty, miner’s Breakfast Pasty, and Grumpy Morning Miner. We all enjoyed them. Two huge donuts yummy.

I was in Salt Lake City to have some surgery and my husband and I were looking for a locally owned place that we could go and get breakfast or Donuts. When we walked into this, we were walking by a very kind gentleman and offered. If we needed any help with the menu he was there to help us and that we could order whenever we were. When we were looking up the website and saw the donuts, we were unaware that the donuts were literally as big as our heads. The taste was amazing. They were very fresh. You could tell the ingredients that they were made with was fresh and they offered a very good variety. We also did get one of the bagels and split those for breakfast and I would definitely say that if you normally eat a bagel on your own that you would have trouble finishing a half of one of these as they are that big and they have a lot of stuff on them. We continue to look around and found that they offer little novelty items such as barbecue sauce, mustard and things like that that come in cute little bottles. We will definitely go back there again if we return to the area as it was definitely worth the 15-minute drive from our hotel room.

Cute place. First experience was a little rough. I got an everything bagel with butter and cream cheese. Bagel tasted great but it was ironically doughy. Cook that dough after you mine it, and support each other y'all. One guy working the front making coffee and taking orders while a handful of coworkers are out back smoking. Plenty of parking, would totally live here having this place downstairs. Cheers!

I’m so tired of the places going out of their way to make everything oversized. Strawberry cheesecake donut was the better donut out of the 3. Strawberry 8/10 Glaze 3/10 Maple 3/10 The donuts are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dry. You can barely taste the glaze.

Donuts as big as your head! I think they’ve done a great job with their menu items and atmosphere. It is unique and stands out from other bakeries/cafes. I can tell a lot of thought and hard work has gone into this business. Thank you!
Ellie S — Google review
Hands down the best (and biggest) donut I have ever had! We got the strawberry and cream donut, and it was chefs kiss. The jam and frosting topping was so good, and then the fluffiest but not too airy dough and then the JAM in side was unreal. I think these donuts should also most be classified as their own dessert as a basic donut could never compare. Not to mention the staff were kind and sweet and friendly :)
Katé ( — Google review
The donuts are the size of a small cake...SO big. They have a super crispy bottom and amazing flavor. Highly recommend if you're trying to decide on what to eat around here! The coffees were okay, but the donuts were 👍

Village Bakery is a delightful spot where you can enjoy a variety of delicious treats. The pizza, available in different flavors and sizes, is particularly impressive - fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The desserts are also worth trying; the cinnamon roll and pumpkin chocolate chip cookie come highly recommended. While the salads may not be outstanding, the sandwiches boast amazing bread. A standout favorite among patrons is the Pizza Italiano with white sauce - always fresh and delightful.
The bread alone is worth the trip! Ordered the BLT which didn’t disappoint. My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll which I had a bite and loved! My go to has always been the garlic bread sticks with ranch dressing which is still good one of my favorite things! Great service too!

Ordered online but it wasn’t ready when I got there. I waited and after asking 3 people they gave me my order. I realized they missed 3 items I had ordered - turned around and went back in. Got home and realized some of the extras I had paid for in my salad were missing. Kind of a bummer but the food was all still really good.

Village Baker in Sandy was great! I got the turkey and provolone sandwich on honey white bread and it was really tasty. Finished it off with a pink sugar cookie that hit the spot. The staff was great — big shoutout to Lucas who took our order and made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this place and I’ll be back for sure!

Very delicious food, and really good customer service, which keeps me coming back. The prices are decent compared to other places like corner bakery, or Kneaders. The store is well-maintained with good quality food, although prices may be slightly higher. Customers appreciate the clean and tidy stores, friendly employees, and convenient checkout experience.
I really like this store, I buy my food groceries from here. I'd say the pricing surprised me, I thought it would take my arm but actually most things were priced pretty fair especially compared to Harmons pricing. The employees seem happy and the store is not as crowded. I recommend anyone at least check it out.

Fresh Market, East Layton off Fairfield and Gordon is a large grocery store offering a pharmacy, meat counter, deli, bakery, fresh produce and anything else on your grocery list plus some toys, cards, gift bags/wrap and flowers. The service is great. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked. There is plenty of parking and pick up is available. This is a great shop when you want to run in and grab a few things rather than going to big box stores.

This store is one of my favorites in the freshmarket chain. It has a great new section for scrapbook fun. Isle are organized nicely and everything is easily found. They have beautiful flowers and this cute area to order balloons.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's convenient because it's right across the street from where I live. But those shelves are stocked different than any other grocery store I've been in. The prices are out of control. Everything I usually buy, is on average $1.00 to $1.50 more. They've got a point system did they make you believe you're saving some money. But quite honestly it's a joke you get one penny for every dollar you spend. Up to $10 so that's $1,000 you got to spend just to save $10. The worst part of it they do not roll over points they expire at the end of the month. Too rich for my blood but I keep going back.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Fresh Market. All locations seem to have very friendly employees and the stores are always so clean and tidy. Pretty good prices as well.

Good place to shop. Clean and well maintained store. Prices are a little high but good quality food. If I forget an ingredient I enjoy stopping here to pick it up so I can make dinner. They could work on their customer service but not horrible since the cashiers have never given me an attitude. They just don't greet or smile.

We had the chance to come and dine for dinner (a very new option here!) and it was delightful. 🥰 This place is in kind of a random part of town and we weren't sure what to expect from the dinner menu since this has been up until (I think?) this past week just a breakfast / brunch / bakery hotspot. However, we were really pleasantly surprised by the rich flavors and texture in the Wild Mushroom Tortellini - especially since we aren't typically big mushroom people - and we scraped the plate clean. The loaded potato pizza was fantastic; crispy and puffy and generous with its toppings. As for everything else.. the staff was very sweet and helpful. The prices felt reasonable. The ambience was wonderful. Highly recommend, thanks again!

Delicious Sunday brunch. London Fog was the best I ever had. Froth lasted until my last sip. The vanilla iced latte we had was also very good and had just the right sweetness. The pizza was delicious. Crust was cooked perfectly. Loved the airiness and crustiness of crust. True Italian pizza. Can’t wait to try the pastries that we purchased a box of to take home for breakfast. Perfect to get us through the week. Service was great. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely will be back.

An amazing place! I really enjoyed going with my friends. The place is large but cozy. The food is delicious, and the servers were amazing. We went on a rainy day, and my friend left her card on the table. The waitress (I wish I remembered her name) ran in to the rain to give us the card, only a good person does that! Please leave a good tip :) they deserve it 100%. And let me tell you about the pastries and breads, simply delicious! You'll want to keep eating more! I will definitely be back, also, don't forget to get your coffee!! Love this place, is a gem!!

Go early for the good stuff! I Googled it, stopped in to get breakfast, coffee, and some freshly baked sourdough bread to go. The soft scramble was outstanding. Perfectly scrambled eggs on top of a slice of their freshly baked sourdough bread, crispy bacon, and a lightly dressed salad. It was just what I needed for the ride back to Las Vegas. unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try those delicious pastries, but just from looking at them, I’m sure they were delicious. When I finally got home, I couldn’t stop eating their delicious sourdough bread. They brought it out warm and the two loaves survived the five hour trip to Vegas. My wife thought the bread was a little overcooked, but I didn’t mind charred parts of the crust. When I go back, I’m absolutely stopping in for another round and possibly a couple of those pastries as well. Don’t miss this place when in Utah.
Anthony D — Google review
Went here for brunch on a Saturday morning and there was no wait! The service was outstanding and we felt very well taken care of. The peaches and cream danish was delectable. There is a wide selection of pastries you and grab and go, or you can sit and dine. Ordered the soft scramble, garden quiche, and risotto benedict. All of the food tasted good, but note that the quiche is very mushroom forward. My only complaint is that the quiche and side salad were served on too small of a plate which made eating it difficult. I recommend Forty Three to anyone looking for a cute place to eat!

This was a great find, wish I had known about it earlier. My daughter and I went for lunch today Monday. The food was excellent. We also had a server that was top notch. I haven’t been to this shop in ages. Probably cause I’m always on the go and they’re right next to McDonald’s who has the ice cream cone and that’s usually good enough for me. In the past two weeks, I’ve visited here 3 times. Lol sure I don’t need it personally, but kids plus summer break plus hot weather usually equals a cold treat. These guys have come in clutch all 3 times. The first visit was right after a huge argument I had with my husband. 😂 we both cooled off with baskin Robbins ice cream. So not only do they serve your sweet tooth and summer heat stroke, but they also serve as a marriage counselor. Hahaha I’m kidding. Great products and great service! Only thing Id suggest - don’t get bubble gum. 😂

The bakery offers both sweet and savory options with rotating flavors, including unique creations like the pride pie with funfetti cake and blackberries. Fun little place to check out for pastries and small baked goods. We got the peanut butter bar and it was honestly delicious. If you get it, ask them to warm it up for you! Definitely planning on going back to try some of their savory items.

I picked up two pies from their booth at the farmers market- the everything tomato + peach. The crust was flakey + buttery and the flavors on both were perfect! Nicolet P — Google review
The most hole in the wall place ever, but truly such a hidden gem! We have come to 9th a million times for other locations we love and had never noticed the Pie Fight. If you blink you’ll miss this unassuming local business. We order the apple crumble mini pie, and the woman who took our order was the sweetest (not sure if she was the owner?). When we asked last minute if we could add a scoop of ice cream she did it free of charge, which she didn’t have to do and was so thoughtful. The pie crust was buttery and flakey, the filling was delicious and they even warmed up the pie. Definitely a new favorite, and we will be coming back here again! Just a note, there’s only outside seating but no chairs probably due to it being winter. But there are benches nearby or you can take it to go.

Awesome literal hole in the wall! Fun hand pies and flavors. Def would recommend for a treat. Workers always nice. Pies are a tad expensive in my opinion, but not horrible. This is a to go restaurant, you walk up to the window and order. Super fun! Not open very late so gotta get there in time.

Funny thing, my girl and I was looking for a place to to have dessert and she saw on google Pie Fight that it has pretty tasty pies. As we drove up we saw their sign but in the window are T-Shirts which was odd. We walked in the shop and they had shirts and hats still odd so we left and we to eat at the chicken place down the street ( that will be another review ). Later we look on google again and thought it has to be in the back... nope. We saw the menu on the window then another customer came up knocked on the window and a gal came out and took her order, duh! We then ordered two Boston cream smalls, not knowing what we were in for. OMG holycrap it was so delicious!! I keep thinking we should have tried the savory one too. Next time definitely going to have savory & sweet!!! There's sitting area benches in front on outside or you can try to walk with the sweet pie but I wouldn't, if you find a hole suck the cream out or it will get messy, but it's soo good ... drooling just thinking about it.
James L — Google review
Wow, these pies are absolutely delicious! It’s a small shop, but the quality is top-notch. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. There’s no tables is only grab and go!

Highlights: A fantastic new addition to the 9th & 9th draw, this walk-up hand pie shop is the perfect fit. Food: Hands down these are the best filled pastries I’ve had. The crust is flaky and buttery, while holding together well in hand, and the fillings are flavorful and plentiful. With pastries like this, the filling can sometimes be minimal and fall flat, but that’s not the case here. Excellent ratios, unique flavors, and perfectly sized. Ambiance: Simple outdoor order window (so timely for a pandemic era dessert shop). Experience: Fantastic. Great food, great service, easy accessibility.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. It was my first visiting because I live so far, but the desserts I purchased were absolutely delightful. The cupcakes were so delicious, and just the taste brought up nostalgia for me. I loved the fact they were overly sweet, and you can taste that they were homemade. As soon as I bit into the chocolate cupcake, I was brought back to childhood. It was something about that icing. If I lived closer, I would patronize this business on a regular basis. Thank you just for that experience. I highly recommend any and every one try this place.

Came here and got some Ube boba with tapioca pearls and a cookies and cream donut. The donut was phenomenal, but the boba can was dysfunctional. I couldn’t get to my tapioca pearls because the drink hole was too small. They do give a generous amount of boba pearls though 😋.

Stopped in on opening day! Donuts came out hot, and the corn dogs were great. The flavors were solid, and it was really refreshing to have a matcha flavor that is really well balanced. I’ll definitely be back, as this is my new favorite mochi donut shop. Half cheese, half sausage Cheetos covered corn dog is what you need.
Rafael J — Google review
What a fun cute small place to visit and to experience mochi donuts. Adorable packaging, and those donuts are delicious. 😍 Very reasonable price. I’ll definitely come again to try other flavors and their corn dogs. Boba is super yummy, too! Nice job guys..

Came here once before with my wife and the Korean dogs were big. Just went there today and they are 1/3 of the size I got when I came here last time. Never coming back to this one. Good food but for the amount you are getting now is not worth it
Deanthony S — Google review
I ordered from here yesterday. Barely being able to survive. I still try to do small things for my 2 daughters. I was super excited to have found this place because they have been wanting the Kdogs you offer. I surprised them. Their faces when I opened the boxes, PRICELESS. Just for them to take a bite and the happiness shattered. Why? Because 2 were so burnt that they were not edible. If a company offers a product then customers expect the best quality for their money. If a customer went to your place of business and stole something, you would be quick to call the police and press charges. Ok, well my money was stolen to be honest. If this is how you conduct business? You should be ashamed of yourself to treat customers so low when they are the reason you have a business!
Rebecca G — Google review
The mochi donuts here are absolutely delicious, especially the boba flavored one. The Korean rice hot dogs are good, as well; I recommend the hot Cheeto flavor (which I enjoy with mustard) over the original. Made better, they have beautiful presentation that make them great gifts and even better treats. I like that they rotate out the flavors every week. We found the service to be surprisingly great when we visited. There's currently a lot of construction nearby so I recommend parking in the Whole Foods parking center across the street.

Had Mochinut for the first time and it was delicious! They were fluffy and soft. I’m already a fan of mochi but my husband wasn’t fond of the chewy texture from the rice flour? However, he did like the flavors! Definitely donuts I’d eat again!

James Gourmet Pies offers a range of delectable sweet potato and buttermilk pies that have garnered rave reviews. The secret ingredient in James Edwards' popular sweet potato pies is pineapple, giving them a unique and irresistible flavor. These pies are available in both full-sized and mini versions, sold at farmers markets, events, and online through the company's website.
I became a fan of "James with James Gourmet Pies, 37" after watching Pop the Balloon. My husband decided to surprise me for my birthday with two pies and I must say, it was literally the best pie I've ever tasted in my life! I normally don't like sweet potato pie, but this was worth every bite. I was pleased with the exceptional quality and flavor despite being shipped across the country. Hands down a must try, especially if you live in the area. Many blessings and much success to you and your family. You got a winner!
Brittany F — Google review
The sweet potato pie is delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness and a lovely, firm texture. A friend of mine raved about the buttermilk pie, so I will definitely try that soon!

So I Watched the balloon and I’m going to place my order right now I’ll keep you updated… OK, cancel… James, You’re such a great guy. I seen you on pop the balloon. I’m pretty sure your pies are amazing but wow, I’m way too broke for this. I’m so sorry.😢
Carlie — Google review
James hand delivered my pies. He's so kind and appreciative of his customers. Folks, if you haven't tried his pies you are missing out. They are absolutely amazing.
Brad — Google review
Haven't tried the pies yet but I saw him on Pop the Balloon and he just seems nice and passionate about his pies! HE FAMOUS YALL 😅🤌🏾
Nic R — Google review
I received the pies damaged and reached out to the company regarding the damage. This was a gift and felt the presentation was unacceptable. I received an email from James stating “the pie looks undamaged” I replied back stating that I would like a new pie or a refund. It’s been over a week and have not heard a word. This company has poor customer service and a total disregard for the situation. I would think before you order anything from this company!
Corey L — Google review
This is NOT your grandma's sweet potato pie! James' pies are different. They are dessert for breakfast. They are delectable. They are addicting. I started with just one pie and my very hesitant fruit pie loving family looked at me like, "Really mom? You couldn't buy an apple pie?" Now, I buy two sweet potato pies PER WEEK. One for now, the other for ...well, when the first pie is gone. As a food photographer, James' pies are as good as they look!
Deborah D — Google review
First time trying James's Sweet Potato Pies, I was surprised. this was fantastic. It's now become one of my favorite pies. If you're from the South, this is slap your mama good. Anywhere else, you too will be surprised at how awesome these pies are.

Auntie Em's Baked Goods is a small pie shop in Park City, Utah that specializes in home-style pies and cookies. The pies are made with local ingredients when possible, and the cookies are handmade with love. The flavors rotate with the seasons, and Auntie Em's is pretty happy to be this niche pie shop.
Auntie Em’s is AMAZING!! Her food is my go-to when guests come into town: from scones & breads for breakfast, savory pies for dinner (we’ve had them all & they are ALL incredible!) and sweet pies & cookies for dessert, she has us covered. AND SHE DELIVERS!!! Plus, she is a delightful person. A definite gem in PC!! ❤️
Deb D — Google review
We have eaten Auntie Em’s fruit pies and cinnamon rolls dozens of times, and they are truly the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Yesterday we bought one of the green chile pork pies and it was every bit as good as the fruit pies. The crust was so perfect and the filling was bursting with flavor, and so perfectly seasoned. Park City is so very lucky to have Auntie Em’s and I can only hope that one day Em will open up a bakery in Salt Lake! I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

I'm blown away by this bakery and it's now a mandatory stop when I'm in park city. Pies, cookies, scones, all amazing. Cinnamon rolls are one of my favorite desserts and their's is in the running for the best I've ever had.

Aunty Em and team did a good job . Delicious baked goods. Cookies are crisp and tasty. Less sweet . Scones are amazingly delicious. Crispy on the top . This is unique . Overall baked goods are less sweet that’s the highlight . Must Come try .

The slices aren't big but delicious. Got a slice of apple pie and I think it might've been the tastiest slice of anything that I've had in my life, and I can imagine it's even better warmed up. The crust was incredible; I would've said it's the best part if the rest of the pie wasn't so good. Totally worth the drive from SLC.

I ordered Christmas cookies from Auntie Em's and sent my husband to pick them up on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, he wasn’t aware of my full order, and a dozen cookies were left behind. We didn’t realize the mistake until later that afternoon after the bakery had already closed. Hoping for a solution, we called and left a message. To our surprise, they promptly returned our call and went above and beyond by not only baking a fresh batch of cookies but also delivering them to our home. Their exceptional customer service and delicious treats have truly earned my highest recommendation!

There’s no place like Park City for Aunty Em’s pies. They are too good to give to Toto. The holy grail of crusts. So good that it made me, a true gluten intolerant temporarily elevate my health to devour a huge piece of Barry (sic) pie.

I just got married in October, and my husband and I wanted something other than cake for our reception. We hired Auntie Em's to make pies for our Park City wedding, and they were AMAZING. We picked blueberry lemon (my personal favorite), Saucy apple, vanilla bean sugar cream, strawberry-rhubarb, and High West bourbon maple pecan. The guests devoured the pies, raved about them all night, and have not stopped talking about them since. Emily was professional and prompt through the whole process. Thank you so much! I cannot recommend Auntie Em's highly enough.

Bakery
Sheer Ambrosia Bakery is a delightful establishment founded by Sherrita Rita Magalde, who honed her gourmet baklava-making skills from her Greek grandmother. The bakery offers an array of delectable flavors like Blackberry Walnut and Peach Walnut Cobbler, each with its own unique texture due to the inclusion of fruit. Customers have praised the owner's personal touch, as she takes the time to ensure that they are satisfied with their orders.
I ordered two boxes for my birthday celebration because my family loves baklava and I thought it would be a fun change from having a cake. I called and spoke with the owner (who is so gracious and a truly lovely person) and she included a sampler of a third kind! The baklava arrived in terrific condition, very nicely and thoughtfully wrapped and boxed. Sheer Ambrosia is a genuine first class operation. I got the traditional walnut, spiced pear, and southern pecan. It was unanimous that the baklava is "amazing". The favorite seemed to be the spiced pear. Thank you for the amazing birthday treat and I look forward to more.
Stuart G — Google review
I attended an event recently who catered the BEST baklava I’ve ever had and unfortunately there wasn’t a business sticker on the plastic container so, I made it my mission to find out who made them so I could support their business. After an extensive google search, comparing photos, and speaking with Rita, I found out she was the amazing mystery baker. Not only is she an amazing baker but she is an amazing person as well. She took me in even though she was closed for the day and was on a zoom call. I felt terrible but she made me feel comfortable and even gave me sample the traditional honey walnut and caramel cashew crunch. I bought a box of 12 of the traditional honey walnut and I’m eating them with my husband as I type this. My husband doesn’t like baklava but “Sheer Ambrosia Bakery” has converted him. Do yourself a favor and buy a box as well. Thank you Rita for being so sweet. I will be a returning customer. (:
Elizabeth K — Google review
Rita is an awesome baker and individual! Her attention to detail is amazing. The baklava is divine! You can’t go wrong with any flavor - my personal favorite is the salted caramel pecan.
Cindy N — Google review
I’m a business owner and was struggling to figure out a way to show appreciation to my past present and future clients. 4 influential companies in this case. Meeting Rita and learning about this bakery was an overnight solution to my issue. She not only has nicely decorated boxes of unique treats - ready to be shipped immediately - but she also added my company logo and a message to my clients that made all of this a no brainer for me. And the amazing price to do all of that is the cherry on top. Can you imagine the impact this can have on your business network and friends? I’m so excited to keep this going! Thank you Rita🙏🏾
Hamaidu F — Google review
I’ve ordered from Rita at Sheer Ambrosia before (to DC) and already knew her baklava was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—but nothing could have prepared me for the joy of meeting her in person! I was in Salt Lake City celebrating my little sister’s graduation from dental school and when I Googled, I saw that Sheer Ambrosia now had a retail space and I just had to to check it out! I didn’t realize it was order-by-pickup/appointment only, but the universe was clearly smiling on us because Rita was there, and she had just enough leftover baklava for my family and me to buy. It felt like fate. Not only did she greet us with free samples (while we drooled and waited for our fresh baklava to be packaged), she shared her incredible story with us, asked about ours, and made us feel so seen and special. She gifted my sister a beautifully wrapped box of baklava, a ceramic campfire mug, and a handwritten note—a handwritten note! Who does that?! Rita does! Sheer Ambrosia doesn’t just make world-class baklava (seriously—crispy, buttery, rich, and layered with love)—it’s a reflection of the beautiful human behind it. Rita, thank you for turning an already joyful day into something unforgettable. You gave us so much more than dessert—you gave us a sweet memory that we’ll treasure forever. 💛 If you haven’t tried or ordered from Sheer Ambrosia yet, do it. Your taste buds (and heart) will thank you!

I've been waiting to try the Blackberry Walnut and the Peach Walnut Cobbler. These flavors are incredible! Rita called me to make sure I knew these flavors have a different consistency than the others like Southern Pecan. These flavors have fruit in them which of course has a higher water content. Someone said it might be "soggy" but in my opinion they are not! I've never had a business owner call me and make sure I'm okay with what I've ordered after I've already ordered it! She is amazing! She truly cares! I ordered 1 box and after I ordered the 1 box I decided I wanted to order another box. She refunded me the 2nd shipping fee I would've paid! This just shows how amazing she is! I feel like most people wouldn't do that! Every order I've had has been perfect! The flavor is phenomenal, the packaging is beautiful, and above all the customer service excellent! I will always buy my baklava from Rita! She is what makes this so special! THANK YOU! 💖 This is the first review I did about 7 months ago: Sheer Ambrosia baklava is the best I've ever had! The taste is phenomenal! I ordered the traditional honey walnut and my mystery 4 pack was butterscotch rum walnut. The packaging is beautiful! The customer service is excellent! I'm going to be a lifelong customer! If you LOVE baklava you should order some now! With every shipped order you get a 4 pack of a mystery flavor! She does this because she charges $14 for shipping. The value of the package of 4 is $13. So shipping is really only $1! It's awesome that she does this! They handcraft your order the day before to allow for cooling and rest before packaging and shipping your baklava the next morning! I just ordered the southern pecan! YUMMY!
Sarah M — Google review
The best baklava you will ever taste! And Rita is so creative with all her different flavors! I have tried the original, southern pecan , Carmel cashew, chocolate almond and butterscotch!!! I loved every single one!! I have a hard time deciding my favorite! I can’t wait to try the rest! And Rita has the best presentation ! Always making her products personable! She is easy to talk to! I highly recommend for your next catering event, family night or business !!
Rose M — Google review
Sheer Ambrosia. What an apt name for heavenly baklava made the traditional way. Layers of flaky filo pastry with ground nuts, sweetened the right way with honey not sugar syrup like a lot of other baklava places. The Honey Walnut and Pistachio Pecan are amazing with just the right amount of sweetness. The owner is a true artisan, loves her craft and it shows. Orders placed online for local pick up are followed by a message from the owner to arrange pick up date and time. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be ordering from Sheer Ambrosia again and again.

Best cupcakes ever! Period!! I am so glad I found this place and got to try Kasthuri’s amazingly flavorful cupcakes! They were so fresh and soft, I fell in love with my first bite! Kasthuri is polite considerate and helpful, she works to fit your schedule and make sure you get the best experience with the cupcakes! Got these for my husband’s birthday, he’s not a cupcake person but was in love with these cupcakes! Can’t thank Kasthuri enough!! I got the cheeky choco monkey, orange wild blueberry and the cardamom kulfi flavor! Highly recommend all three. I can’t wait to try more again when I’m in the SLC area!

I’ve never written a review on Google before. I guess I’ve never had an experience so stellar that I felt prompted to do so. However, my experience with Cupcakes by Kasthuri was outstanding and warranted a review. I ordered two dozen cupcakes for my wife’s baby shower. We had leftovers of just about everything, except for these cupcakes. They were a hit. I’m glad I was able to get a few business cards from Kasthuri because I had multiple people asking me where I got them. Cupcakes aren’t really my forte, and I felt a little out of my depth with the task to get cupcakes. Kasthuri made the process incredibly simple. When I arrived to pickup the cupcakes, she gave me a full rundown of the ingredients she used, why she used them, and how her cupcakes are different than other bakeries. Not only was it extremely pleasant to chat with her, but it was also informational. Kasthuri is wonderful, and is clearly passionate about the work she does. I’m glad she was able to play a role in my wife’s baby shower, and I 100% know where I will be getting cupcakes going forward.

I chose Cupcakes by Kasthuri to make cupcakes and a single tier cake for my wedding. As a chef, I know what to look for and she uses the best quality ingredients. She was professional and pleasant throughout the whole process. I'm so glad I chose her, they were a hit! I got the Hot Chocolate and chai cupcakes. My Husband and I are dairy free so our cake was a vegan coconut creme cinnamon vanilla cake and everything was so good! even the kids liked the flavors! I would recommend her cupcakes over and over again!

We ordered the Vanilla Bean, Double Chocolate Fleur de Sel & the Lemon Raspberry petite cupcakes for a department birthday celebration. I received so many compliments from everyone that tried them. I loved how you actually taste the flavors of the cupcake rather than just sugar like other cupcakes I have tried. Very fresh & delicious! And I had the opportunity to meet Kasthuri who delivered the order to our office. She was so nice & so was the gentleman that helped her deliver. I will definitely be ordering from her again.

Best cupcakes! Totally worth it! Will order again! Can't wait to try them all. I ordered 60 cupcakes for my husband's 60th birthday. They came with a beautiful presentation, tasted even better, and everyone raved about how they weren't overly processed! Amazing job Kasthuri! Another happy customer!
Kally C — Google review
I was looking for a bakery that was...different from all the other cupcake shops that pop up. Those all are delicious in their own right, don't get me wrong, but they all taste...the same. The only difference is what frosting and cake base they use...but the consistency, the sickeningly sweeter sugar frosting...I just wanted something different...less commercial I guess. Less Food Network cupcake, more real baking and natural ingredients. So I Googled, and found Kasthuri. All I had to go on was Google reviews and see pictures, but I took a shot. It turned out to be a great decision! I ordered two different cupcakes, 4 different flavor combos and I tasted 4 different flavors in delicious combinations! The cake base was amazing, exactly the consistency I was looking for, not too thick, not too airy, moist, but not wet, and I tasted the chocolate...I tasted the Pina colada base. The frosting was fantastic. It was FLAVORFUL, not just sweet, or not too sweet. Distinct flavors rolled off, especially that raspberry. That was real raspberry! Not an essence, not from a plastic bottle...it was fantastic. The pineapple coconut milk was EXACTLY what is sounds like, in every flavor. If you are looking for real flavors, real ingredients, real hand made baking...this is where you need to buy cupcakes. The commercial places have their place, the grocery stores have theirs (i.e. kids 10 and under...), but for people looking to hearken back to "homemade" or "from scratch," this IS THE RIGHT PLACE! My only suggestion...is that Kasthuri sells me some of that frosting in 5 gallon pails...I cannot stress how flavorful and tasty it was. I would have many uses for it! Thank you!

We get these for office birthdays and its quickly become my favorite office tradition. On a personal note, Kasthuri is so lovely to work with!

Everything was hand made freshly and just so delicious, I highly recommend it. Kasthuri was so accommodating and helpful for us, and worked us in even though we had a last second order, and gave us some absolutely delicious and wonderful cupcakes on such short notice. I recommend everyone try these cupcakes! We have ordered for a few events like birthday parties and baby showers, and the wedding selections are extensive. Their display case is a feast for the eyes, featuring an enticing selection of cakes like Carrot Cream, German Chocolate, and Luscious Lemon.
We got a chocolate cake with a cream cheese frosting for our wedding. It was absolutely phenomenal. Super dense and wonderful flavoring. All of our guests mentioned the cake afterwards! They also delivered it to the venue which was a huge stress reliever. Overall 10/10

Drove from the south end of the valley only to be greeted by a dark storefront and a handwritten sign with hours vastly different than their Google site states. They have obviously scribbled out 12 (pm) and replaced it with 3PM. While here two other potential customers came. One stated the Baking Hive website says they opened at 12:00. They may have great bake goods but apparently no respect for other people’s time or needs. So heads up to anyone else thinking of purchasing from this establishment, you may want to call first to see if anyone is in the bakery.

Very good. A little too sweet for my tastes, but classic American sweets, all made by hand.
Jory A — Google review
The Victorian Sponge Cake was good, a little denser than I had imagined for a cake, loved the filling.
Stephanie P — Google review
We’ve tried to like the Baking Hive, but… We just bought an almond raspberry cake and it was so rubbery. (This is from an over mixing and gluten has set up). Plus, years ago, we had ordered a cake to be delivered yet it was never delivered. When we called we were told the the delivery person had dropped it off. The problem is that our Ring never captured the person and our 3 alarm dogs never started barking. Fine. Maybe something had happened….but we were responded to with indignation that it HAD been delivered! So we’ve gone back a few times since then because we do believe in supporting small businesses. However, it’s hit or miss on quality and the rubbery cake is it for us. So with the less than friendly service and poor/not-consistent quality, we’re done supporting them. There toffee is good and the bars seem to be good so it’s not all bad. But there are better independent, small bakeries here in Salt Lake and we’ll be spending our money elsewhere.

Summit did a fantastic job for my daughter‘s wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased! My daughter wanted a gluten-free wedding cake alternative, and her macaron tower was spectacular. We received so many compliments, and the macarons were the most delicious I have ever tasted. Not typically choosing gluten-free desserts myself, I was delighted and pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend Summit to anyone considering their services!

Do yourself a favor and hire Robi! Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and overall phenomenal at what she does. Our wedding cake was both stunning AND delicious! We had a difficult time choosing our flavor as we loved ALL of them from the cake testing. Ultimately, we could not have been happier with the end result. She helped us with every detail – design, size of cake, delivery, setup/floral placement, and even the cake stand. We will absolutely be asking Robi to make our cakes for future events/occasions. We truly cannot recommend her enough!

Robi was such a great baker to work with! She made our wedding cake in Alaska and it not only turned out delicious, it was beautiful! Exactly what we envisioned! We chose to get a carrot cake which is a non-traditional flavor for weddings but Robi was all about making our dreams come true. People still talk about how delicious our cake was years later. On our one-year anniversary, Robi made us fresh, carrot cake cupcakes to celebrate which was such a sweet moment for us. I would highly recommend hiring Robi and Summit Cake Design for your wedding but also your anniversary to relive and bring back memories from that day!

Robi completely blew it out of the water when it came to making my son's smash cake and birthday cake! Not only did both cakes blow my mind from the decorating standpoint, but also with taste! She was able to match colors and vision perfectly. The Yeti smash cake was completely her own design and absolutely adorable! It was hard to cut into the cakes because they were more of an art piece than food. We will definitely be coming back for all our celebration needs!

We ordered a pony cake for our daughter’s pony themed birthday party - Robi was a pleasure to work with, and did a fabulous job making my vision come to life ♥️ I placed my order way in advance, but then had a couple of modifications about a week before the event. Robi was so kind and flexible with the changes. Every single guest at the party complimented the cake, and Robi even included a small matching cupcake for our daughter to get to have for herself!

Thank you so much for creating a beautiful memory for my daughter’s Sweet 16th birthday. My husband doesn’t normally eat cake because of the frosting, however, he ate a piece of cake everyday. This frosting was cake was something to crave for. Not only was the cake gorgeous it was delicious as well. I will definitely be ordering another cake from her in the future. You won’t be disappointed!!

In addition to her beautiful wedding cakes, Kelly is also celebrated for her delectable pastries such as Lightning Bolts with creamy custard-like centers.
So little back story first. My daughter moved to Utah this year from AZ and we have been missing lots of family traditions. One is my wife makes a heart shaped cake every year on Valentines day for the kids. Well we talked and I went searching on line to see what I can find. I found Kelly's web site and got into contact with her. I sent a picture of what I wanted and she far exceeded my expectations of what I was looking for. My daughter and her boyfriend wer so excitd. I had delivered to her work and yes she cried. I was told by all that had some it tasted awsome. Thank you Kelly for helping us continue our tradition so may miles away.

Kelly was incredible. She worked with me and my planning to get a cake from here in Roy UT all the way up to and past Boise ID into the mountain ranges for a nature themed wedding. It turned out MAGNIFICENT and was an incredible surprise for my now wife which she didn't expect because of the planning Kelly assisted with. On top of this, Kelly sent me off with her own tools and cake plates and knives at the mere request I return them in good condition. I. Highly. Recommend.

The cakes look and taste amazing. My daughter had a 3 tier cake made for her wedding. The flavors she had picked were German chocolate, carrot, and vanilla. Both the German chocolate and carrot were very moist and full of flavor. The marbling of colors on the cake matched her wedding colors exactly. The cake was gorgeous. I would highly recommend Kelly.

City Cakes & Cafe is a local vegan bakery in Salt Lake that takes pride in offering a wide range of vegan and gluten-free options. The bakery is known for its delicious pastries, including the popular vegan cheese sauce. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, outdoor seating, and free WiFi. Many are impressed by the quality of their products and love that they can enjoy alternative choices such as coconut or almond milk lattes.
Dare I say "heaven on earth"? When I first went vegan (several years ago), the hardest part for me was baking. But City Cakes' owner has totally mastered vegan baking. You would never know. I usually don't even tell my friends when I take them there, and they can't tell at all. Also, the vegan cheese sauce is unbeatable. Just give up trying and head to City Cakes and just buy it. :) We get every family birthday cake there and all the family loves it! Cakes, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, scones, muffins, peanut butter bars, and other goodies. Plus, they serve lunch, smoothies, breakfast, etc. Also, if you get the bean pattie, it's even better wrapped in lettuce. And, they have several gluten free items.

I wanted to get a sweet for my lactose intolerant son. The server was really nice and told us even the frosting is vegan. I tried the cupcake and loved it so I thought my son might like it. He loved it. I plan on getting him his bday cake from here. Best vegan cupcakes I ever tasted.

First time, good impression. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, outdoor seating, quality pastries and hot drinks, WiFi, clean restrooms. The best part of this spot is the alternative choices: lots of gluten free pastries and you can get a latte with coconut or almond milk ! I'll be back.

I had their bread at the nearby breakfast place called five5eeds (in the same plaza) and I liked it so much I had to walk over to see where the magic happens. All the breads look delicious and I look forward to trying more of them the next time I’m in PC. Rovalis Ristorante Italiano is a family-owned restaurant located on Historic 25th Street in Ogden. It offers a lively atmosphere with a patio and bakery for cakes. The restaurant is known for its straightforward Italian cuisine, including pizza, pasta, and other entrees. One of their popular dishes is the 'Tour of Rovalis,' which features lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, and cheese ravioli.
Delicious food, the lavender lemonade was amazing! The cake was amazing. Food tasted so great and made with care. Friendly servers and cute place. Will be back again!
Lindsey C — Google review
Rovalis Ristorante Italiano is one of my favorite places ever. While their various pasta dishes are great, from their excellent spaghetti to their great pesto and their flavored drinks too, my absolute favorite part about Rovalis are their cakes. I LOVE Rovalis cakes. Andrea does an excellent job making them. I still remember the first one I ordered. It was the Strawberry Champagne cake. At that time, I thought that was the best strawberry cake I ever had. Even today, it is still one of my favorites. Since then, I have ordered these cakes for birthdays and various holidays for years. I have yet to find one cake I dislike personally. The frosting is AMAZING, and what I also love is the balance of the flavors. Most cakes aren’t overly sweet or too lacking, making them very delectable. Even the sweeter cakes are still fantastic. With Rovalis, as long as they continue making cakes, I'll continue buying them and even come in for their great italian.
Jaymes E — Google review
Really enjoyed our meal! Got the Tour and it was enough for 2. Kids dine for $5.99. All 3 pasta were good! Very nice waiter as well. Their frozen lemonade tastes the same in Italy!

We stumbled upon a real gem of an Italian restaurant. The online menu's dessert list immediately grabbed my attention, so we decided to give it a try. Even on a bustling Friday night, we had only a short wait. As soon as we were seated, our server promptly took our drink order. Before she returned, the owner himself stopped by our table. He graciously thanked us for our visit, highlighted the nightly specials, and patiently answered our questions. He even left us with a humorous joke. The food was incredibly flavorful with generous, but not overwhelming, portion sizes. The homemade cheesecake was a standout, and the variety is amazing—they offer about 10 different cakes each night, with over 75 more available to order from their bakery. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try another one!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at Rovalis Ristorante Italiano! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The restaurant's unique and lively atmosphere made our visit truly memorable. The owner took the time to personally greet us and make us feel at home, which added a special touch to our evening that we really appreciated. Our server was prompt, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations that did not disappoint. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, Rovalis was an excellent find, offering exactly what we were looking for in a place we hadn't tried before. The restaurant provided both great food and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We stopped in here for dinner this past weekend. What a treat! Alex, the owner was so charming. He was seating everyone, and was very welcoming and friendly, and even shared a joke with each table as he sat them. I tried the eggplant Parmesan, which he highly recommended. And he was not wrong — It was delicious! I got pasta on the side with mine. My mom tried the eggplant Parmesan as well but she ordered the fresh steamed veggies on the side. She said everything was very good. The dinners also came with fresh baked rolls. So much food! We love every bite. Thank you!
Susan M — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. It has a great atmosphere and the owner is a hoot. The food was good for the most part, but the Alfredo and raviolis were lukewarm on 5 of the 7 plates. The highlights were the lasagna, the sausage link, the pizza was killer, the cheese bread and the roles. But above all else, the deserts are killer, we have been eating the cakes for years. This was our first time in the restaurant for the food. I wish it had all been warm.
Brandon B — Google review
The angel hair pasta was fantastic. The meatball was a little over done. The pizza... something about it was just off. I love bubble crust pizza and the crust is great, something was up with the toppings that made it a bit saltier than normal. I've had the pizza here before and it wasn't like that... so thinking it may have been a fluke.

I was recently visiting Utah from NC and had the chance to stop at the Brigham City location. The food was fantastic, sandwiches as well as cookies and muffins, and the staff was extremely friendly. We also bought some bread that we took home. Delightful!! I will be making this a “must visit” when I am in Utah. I highly recommend making the stop.

It's your standard bakery/sandwich and soup place. Reminds me of a few of the ones I know of in salt lake city. You go in, fill out the paper on what kind of meal you want. I had the creamy potato soup. It was awesome with a ruben which was on the lighter side of a ruben sandwich but it was still delicious. Highly recommend. Especially on a cold day.

I love going to the Grist Mill. It's a tradition for my family to stop at this location every Labor Day weekend on our way to Bear Lake. The food and the service are always so good. I left my wallet in this store over the weekend and they held it for me until I was able to pick it up. Nothing was missing, and they were extremely nice about it.

Plenty of room for a group. Easy ordering where you write your selection down yourself which takes the pressure off. Excellent for families. Oh yeah, and DELICIOUS and shockingly inexpensive in my opinion. My 9 year old said she'd be willing to drive the hour and a half from our house just to come back here.

We went to get a gift basket for a friend. First off, the baskets are overpriced, we grabbed one though, filled it and went to pay. We asked for cellophane to wrap it. The cashier and a younger girl were unsure, but very nice. They asked an older lady who was getting after, who I am supposing, her grandson, she was very snappy replying we have bags but they have to pay for it and we don’t put it together. She then turned to us and said, “I have to go back and grab it.”. Again the first two ladies were nice and professional, however, the third lady was gruff, unprofessional and shouldn’t have been reprimanding her grandchild at work. Also, the basket had to be wiped down by us because it was so dusty, all of them were. It will be worth my time next time to go to Ogden’s Kneaders or Great Harvest.

This is my first time eating here, I've been wanting to come for a while. The food is good, but the presentation not so much. I liked the service, the waitresses were very friendly. I felt very comfortable!

I'm not sure when the muffin / bread basket stopped being part of the meal. That's what I used to love about going here. I tried something new. They forgot the powdered sugar, so it wasn't as visually satisfying. Potatoes were undercooked. Pasta was good, but the crab was very difficult to find in the dish.
Emerald S — Google review
If I could give zero stars I would. First clue to not go there should've been when we walked in and the hostess was standing there with her phone in hand & bright white headphone wires going into her ear. Didn't take them out to talk to you, sat and listened to her phone the whole time she walked you to your table. The waitress was the most unfriendly human I think I've probably ever met, her name was Maritza. Didn't ever ask if we wanted drinks, just gave us all waters & went on with her merry way. Finally got her to take our order, to which she went and helped 5+ other tables before ever taking our order back to be worked on. While food was being made she didn't come around a single time to our table. After waiting 40+ minutes we asked if the food was getting close or to cancel it, we ordered French toast, a RARE steak, and a trio appetizer which was chicken tenders, chips & spinach artichoke dip, and a quesadilla. None of which are hard orders. Finally the food came out, the steak that was supposed to be rare was so overcooked it was almost white in appearance, the dip was cold, chips were all CRUMBS, and the chicken tenders inedible. She never came back to ask how our food was, she gave us our check & asked if we wanted boxes because there was so much food left on our plates, to which we gave an ASTOUNDING and overwhelming NO because it was so awful why would we want to take it home. If she had even an ounce of customer service she would've asked if everything was okay, offered a discount, literally anything. But she just took our money and went on her way. Paying $30 for a 1/2in overcooked as overcooked can be steak, $18 for a pile of chip crumbs & cold dip, etc. is beyond ridiculous. I do not recommend Mimi's to literally anyone, hands down the worst overall restaurant experience I've ever had anywhere.
Rylee E — Google review
We were so excited to go to Mimi’s, being one of my mother’s favorite restaurants, which she hadn’t been to in years. But we ended up having a terrible overall experience. No complimentary bread basket. Received incorrect order, twice. First time wrong quiche with potatoes when a salad had been ordered. Second time correct quiche still with potatoes. Quiche was inedible as crust was too hard to push a fork through. Brought out a side house salad separately and forgot to put dressing on the side as requested. Salad was wilted and soggy like it had been leftover from yesterday. See photos. Manager did remove the cost for the one meal. We had also ordered a meal to go, which our server entirely forgot about. We didn’t ask about it again, as the food had been so bad. The interior of the restaurant was run down and the bench my parents sat on was broken and uncomfortable. We miss the old Mimi’s, and unfortunately will never eat here again. We recommend you go anywhere else to eat!

I have been loyal to this restaurant for 15 years now! They are still impressing me since the first time I dined in. Cozy and casual restaurant! Pleasant atmosphere! Enjoyed their classic Benedict! It was delicious! They always have the best home style breakfast potatoes too. Our waitress, Letia, was also amazing! She was the best waitress we have had after many breakfast outing experiences. She is patient, kind and attentive. I hope she is recognized and rewarded for her 5 star service. We were fortunate to be waited on by her. We will be back to greet and see her beautiful smile! Hope she sees this too! Thank you Mimi’s Cafe for keeping it real for many years and counting!

I haven't been to Mimi's in a long time, my wife and I heard that the menu had been reduced because of other closed locations. I don't know how this rumor got started, but it couldn't be further than the truth! Let me tell you this place feels like a hidden gem! Granted, it was monday early evening but it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service from Bobby was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I really couldn't say enough good things about Bobby. My wife and her coworker both had hot sandwiches, I got the French quarter berger, it was amazing! The restaurant was very clean, the men's room was spotless, the flatware was pristine. One hundred times I would come back. I ordered 2 of the Dubai muffins to go. I cracked the box they came in while I was in the car heading home (they looked so good I couldn't wait) I was not disappointed. Thank you Bobby and Mimi's! You turned out bad day into a great memory.

What a wonderful experience we just had! I took my kiddos here with me for an after school treat and the girl that helped us was adorable (Alexis I think?) She engaged in conversation with my kiddos the whole time and made their night! We chose a variety of desserts and I know that they will all taste delicious because we have tried some of them before. We also love their bread and donuts too. I love supporting schimdt's every time I'm in the area.

It's a cute little bakery with a lot of different options to choose from. We loved the s'mores bars and the mint brownies. The snickerdoodle cookies were dry and hard. The wedding cookies and the flat cinnamon roll pastry were bland as well. So it's a hit and miss on their items. They don't have a lot of seats inside either, so you'll most likely have to take the food to go.
Amanda H — Google review
I've been coming here for years, ever since I was a kid, but I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon, not with the way they made my sandwich. It took a long time, and there were barely any toppings. $13 for this? This is a three dollar gas station sandwich at best. I wish I wouldn't have gotten it to go because I would have approached them about it, but it wasn't a time investment I could make to go all the way back to the shop. Instead I think I'll just stay away for awhile.

Be forewarned though, if you come in here for a sandwich there's a good chance you'll leave with more goodies because they just look soooo goood. The place is zero fancy and looks like you have to check in and fill a form for what you want... I went there around 4ish pm and the bread trays were a little empty already. Thank you Val and everyone who helped The service and care they took to meet what I was asking for, was outstanding. My wife will throw up unless she eats exactly what she is craving, so I made a very specific request, and Val was more than accommodating. I only had to bring in the batch amount (25lb) of the organic flour that I wanted them to use, for them to make my organic blue berry bagels request (and I brought in my own wild blue berries as well). I wanted to pay more but Val didn't let me The bagels tasted amazing. Even a little addicting For those that are also overly health conscious, there was cornmeal on the bottom of the bagels, so I'll ask if that can not be used next time. All in all, spectacular place P.S. I had them make 4 dozen and froze all the ones my wife won't be eating immediately

Cutest little cupcakery ever! As soon as you walk in, you know you’re in for a treat. I love the fun atmosphere and the assortment of goodies you encounter as soon as you enter the bakery. It isn’t just a counter with a few items. They have a fun assortment beyond cupcakes, which is nice for variety. There is something for everyone! You can tell they’re proud of what they do because of the ambiance and quality of desserts. I’d rate it 5 stars, but, although their staff is usually very quick to assist once you decide what you want to order, they could be a bit more personable beforehand. After a few visits I’ve noticed that there really isn’t any interaction while you’re at the counter trying to decide what to get before placing your order and paying, which is kind of a bummer.

This bakery offers the best cupcakes including the gluten free cupcake options. They also have trifles that are so yummy! Each cupcake is beautifully decorated and the bakery has a fun, sparkly, unicorn-themed aesthetic. Watch for the variety of flavors that are added through the seasons.
Heidi B — Google review
This is by far the best dessert place hands down! Great options for Gluten-free cupcakes. You can sit down and read a book and enjoy a cupcake or treat, fun colors throughout the store. The menu items change sometimes, but they typically have at least some of the top choices. The strawberry ones come out more for Pleasant Grove’s Strawberry Day around June. You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. My favorite is the “better than what cupcake”.

Cute bakery with a lot of options to choose from. They have yummy cupcakes and nice gluten-free options. I was overcharged by workers on my purchase. They don't print out receipts or show you the prices of your purchases. I was overcharged on three 75% off items and charged full price. Didn't notice until I saw the email receipt.
S R — Google review
This is a nice cupcake store with some really good cupcakes, but the gluten free ones are not at the same level. A place to experience once, but be prepared for a pretty pricey cupcake. Cupcakes at time of this review are $3.5 for normal and $3.95 gluten free (you do get discount that grows after 1/2 dozen). We ordered a gluten free lemon raspberry (lacked the lemon flavor), strawberry Nutella cheesecake (which was our favorite), and a better than what. The chocolate cake was moist and good and the toppings are good and not overly sweet. For the price I would not buy again though.

Parsons' Bakery is a charming little gem nestled in Bountiful, Utah, and has been delighting locals since 1945. This family-run establishment is not just about baking; it's a passion that runs deep, much like their love for water skiing. The walls are adorned with magazine clippings that tell the story of their dedication to crafting mouthwatering treats.
Made me an amazing gender reveal cake, in less than 24 hours, amazing price and good customer service. Cake tasted amazing and looked exactly how i asked. Love it here! Also got chocolate cupcakes and they were to doe for.

I’m so thankful for Parsons Bakery being apart of one of the most important days of our lives. Our family is growing from two to three and they made a beautiful cake for our gender reveal. I was able to text them my ideas and they made it happen!! I was able to place my order and pick up same day!! The price was also great and I think they could charge more!! Thank you again and I can’t wait for Parsons to be apart of many more memories for my family! I also got a cinnamon roll while I was there and that hit the spot! I did get a photo of it because it was gone before I got home.

This chocolate cake is what dreams are made of. It not only looked incredible, but also tasted divine! I typically don’t even like cake because they can be dry with boring frosting, but I couldn’t stop coming back to this otherworldly cake. Kaitlin made the milestone birthday extra special with this piece of heaven. My family couldn’t stop talking about it. Thank you Kaitlin!

Parson’s Bakery is one of Bountiful’s treasures! The selection is wonderful and delicious. I try something different nearly every time I go there and I’ve always been pleased. I’ve also been impressed with the attentiveness and kindness of the employees. It’s a nice place to grab a sweet treat. There are tables out front if you want to eat there or have lunch with a friend.

Excellent customer service! I had a pleasant experience ordering my daughter’s birthday cakes. The attendant was very kind and helpful, polite as I inquired about pricing and options for the same day cake purchase.

We bought $15 worth of donuts and pastries and got mixed results. The yeast donuts were excellent for the kids. The chocolate croissant was one of the best that we've had. The texture was crisp and flaky with adequate chocolate melted inside. The kouign amann was also good, but maybe not $5 good. The ones at Farmstead in Saint George are the same price but larger and have better, chewy/crispy texture along the bottom. The bad news is that the apple fritter was burnt. The dough was OK, maybe just a little dry, but the apples that poked outside were burnt black and it smelled and tasted distinctly burnt as we cut it up to share among our family. Fortunately, our seven-year-old son liked it well enough to finish it off.

There is very little seating, but this isn’t a cafe, it’s a bakery. A good selection of scones, cookies, donuts, cakes and sometimes tarts, breakfast pasties, pastries, and of course, bread. Order ahead if you can’t be there in the morning. They do have some day-old, which is still delicious. Everything we tried was amazing.

I'm very torn on how I feel. I like their donuts and they were able to get us a cute cake quickly. Their customer service was great and their response time was quick. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I got $120 cake. It was very dry and we weren't warned that the decor was made from playdough. Although I'm not too worried about it, it smelled really bad. Also had some fingerprints on the cake which was kind of gross looking. All in all I think they tried hard but I also think it's overpriced for the quality.

When exploring the delightful dessert scene in Utah County, one cannot overlook The Chocolate, a charming family-owned café that has captured the hearts of many. Renowned for its incredibly moist and flavorful cakes, this sweet spot on State Street serves up beautifully presented slices that are simply irresistible. Alongside their classic cakes, visitors can indulge in an array of fun-flavored cookies and decadent treats that make choosing just one a delightful challenge.
Every time I go here, I plan on getting the olive oil cake it is completely divine, so much that I don’t want to waste my efforts on anything else. Today I strayed from my regular and I got a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon cookie. I was nervous, nervous to try something new. But the gamble paid off, the cookie was one of the better chocolate chip cookies I’ve had. It was a slight chewing to it with a good balance of chocolate. And the lemon cookie was so damn good. I love this place. You can taste the love in the food.

I purchased a small chocolate cake for my daughter’s birthday. We were dining out and took the cake to the restaurant for celebrations. The cake tasted really good, but it was super crumbly when we tried to slice it. It continued to crumble as the guests tried to eat it. Our waiter was kind enough to offer us spoons as the forks weren’t very useful, but the guests for the most part, just pushed the crumbs around their plate for a few minutes and then abandoned all efforts to eat it. One guest just ordered her own dessert from the restaurant instead of attempting the crumb Olympics😅. It was a waste of money for me, it was less than half consumed. But what was eaten was tasty. UPDATE: wow, excellent customer service. Owner Immediately responded to the issue with an apology and refund, which we will be using to come back in for another birthday cake! Such amazing customer service can be rare to find, really appreciate supporting a local shop that stands by their products like that. Looking forward to our next visit at the Chocolate and really appreciate such awesome customer service!!!!

I LOVE this place! My favorite dessert is called The Husband (a la mode). It’s a delicious yellow cake with creamy, chocolate icing and I have them add a scoop of vanilla ice cream . Oh my gosh- I crave this stuff! I cannot replicate the yummy goodness despite my best efforts to do so. I cannot figure out how something so seemingly ordinary can make my mouth water and bring me back again and again. See you again soon!

****UPDATE: One of the owners reached out through email and apologized for the horrible experience we had. He offered a full refund and an additional gift card to help make things right. I was ready to never return to the Chocolate, but with customer care and service like this, they’ve won my family back. We will definitely be returning with the confidence that if they make a mistake, they’ve will make it right. That’s good business and I wish more places put a focus on the customer’s experience. Highly recommend grabbing a treat at this bakery next time you’re around.**** (Original review) —We usually love getting cake from the Chocolate. My wife and I ordered our wedding cake from here and get slices whenever we are in town. While our wedding cake had a minor issue with order compared to what was received, we haven’t had too many issues here until today. We ordered my daughter’s birthday cake over a week ago for pick up today. It was set for a pickup at 12 to be at her party on time. We ordered the unicorn cake, I believe the medium size (which was about $73!!!) I sent my sister to pick up the cake at 12 and she was told it was not ready, that there was an issue with the decoration of the cake and they needed to fix it. I then called in to see if it was ready a little while later. It was ready so I came in to pick it up. I found nobody behind the counter. I waited, called out, and waited some more. Finally I found the worker was cleaning in the back with headphones in. She was startled by me and then upon request handed me the cake and put her headphones back in. No comment about it being late, no apology, nothing. Upon getting the cake back to the party I noticed that the ears of the unicorn while being described on the site as being made from sugar cookies, were made of plastic and looked nothing like the ones pictured on the site. In addition to this we found the eyes of the unicorn to be sloppy and not as neat as we expected from the picture and for the price. We cut into the cake and began eating only everyone kept spitting out the colored frosting for the unicorn hair. It was salty!! Not in a salty sweet way, more in a added salt instead of sugar way. It was disgusting! Beyond this the cake had clumps of what seemed like burnt flour scattered across the bottom of the layers. We ended up throwing most of it in the trash. All of this and we paid $73?? We will not be returning and I recommend you skip this shop in your event planning. Don’t waste your money on something that will disappoint on your special day. Disgraceful.

My review is from April but I forgot to do it until now. My husband ordered a special cake for my birthday and surprised me with it. We had been wanting to try this place forever!! We were so disappointed with how dry it was and ended up throwing all but the two pieces we ate away. I called the next day and spoke to the owner (I think his name was Brett) and he was AMAZING!! He was so understanding and helped get us a new cake that tasted AMAZING!!! His customer service was beyond anything I could have imagined and I will go there so many more times in the future because of him and because the chocolate cake was incredible!! I believe the first cake was a fluke and not a representation of how amazing and delicious this place is! Highly recommend

The quaint ambience was ruined by, disrespectful, noisy, loud staff & noisier when their boyfriends came in. I asked them to be quieter please but she offered a back room we could go in. Really?! The taste of the cake is average & overpriced. The friend I was with can make better.

So many amazing dessert options from the case, plus freshly baked cakes on display you can get slices of. They have everything from lemon bars to salted caramel brownies (even a gluten free shelf). For our recent visit, my husband and I shared a cazookie (pazookie but in a cake pan) which was half white chocolate macadamia nut and half chocolate candy egg special for Easter. Super decadent, and meant to be shared. Prices are fair, and it's a cute eclectic space as far as seating goes. Big open parking lot in the back. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

worst service ever. Wj location is 10/10. this location took 45 mins to bring us our 2 cazookie’s. we saw them being the 3 people behind us all their orders but not ours. we said for dine in, and they bring us ours in to go. Ice cream was hard as a rock and had to rip it out of the cup. didn’t even melt on the cookie because it was frozen as a rock

If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal, look no further than Corner Bakery Cafe. This casual counter-serve cafe chain is perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely breakfast any time of day. With an inviting atmosphere that feels like home, it offers an array of delicious options including sandwiches, soups, salads, and pastries.
Delicious Salads. They updated the Mac and cheese recipes and it didn’t come with the yummy crumbles. Overall it was delicious ❤️ I have noticed the last couple of times I’ve been there the service has slipped a bit. They often forget the kids dessert which causes us to have to stand in line again. It’s still recommended.

Busy Saturday at Corner Bakery Cafe. I think the food took less time to be made then delivered to my table (it was a little bit cold), despite that the food wasn't at the desired temperature it was still very tasty. I had the Anaheim Scramble egg and my mother had the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and a Truffle Mocha (I like their mocha, maybe too sweet for some people). This is not my 1st time at the restaurant I had tried some other items from the menu during lunch time, I would come back again maybe during the week. Their parking is big because are located a shopping mall 🚗. Was this helpful? 🐴🐴

I’ve always loved Corner Bakery Cafe - I’ve been to them in multiple states. I haven’t been to one in years and I was super excited about going to this one, but I didn’t have a great experience like usual. I had to post a review for the first time. -While only a handful of customers for lunchtime, there were at least 20 tables that had dirty dishes on them. It was completely quiet in there and shouldn’t have had half of the tables covered in dirty dishes. -At the register, the Verifone system had technical difficulties so customers kept having their credit cards denied or timed out. The manager and cashier (mother and daughter) were complaining about it and how annoying it was but there didn’t seem to be any hurry to troubleshoot or get on the phone with a verifone rep to fix it. I do have to say that they were nice though. -At the register, they taped a hand-drawn half-clothed anime girl to market the wild berry lemonade. While probably fun for some, it’s not recommended as professional/classy marketing material. It was completely out of place and misaligned with Corner Bakery aesthetics. -While the food was good, the portions for the “choose two” were larger than necessary. The half Mac came in a normal bowl size. It’s definitely a bigger portion than it used to be for half size. Just a few things we noticed while going there.

The avocado wrap was great and the salsa was even better! A smidge slow, but nothing unreasonable. Nice healthy options. Would go back if we are in the area.

I ate a salad and soup Tues Oct 26. The greens had that funny moldy smell. The chicken was dry and seemed old, it was not cold or warm. By 2 am I vomited up this meal. It's been 9 months since I was sick like this and that was in Asia after drinking a gulp of lake water when swimming. It is now Sunday and my tummy is finally recovering. I won't be eating here again.

The Cupcake Shoppe and Bakery is a charming establishment that has gained a reputation for its exceptional products and friendly service. Customers have praised the shop for its beautiful treats, which are not only visually appealing but also delicious. The bakery offers a wide variety of delectable items, including macaroons and cookies such as the cowboy cookie and salted caramel cookie. Visitors often find themselves unable to resist the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked goods when they step into the shop.
This bakery is the best!!! They have a great selection and everything is always fresh! I've been coming here for a while and tried many things, they never disappoint!! I've been purchasing their items when I host everyone. I love it! They have a great selection of GF items, and you can order things ahead as well! The ladies who own it are so sweet and amazing, just like their bakery!! They go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! Every employee has been pleasant and helpful! The establishment is very clean and well kept! Some of my favorites are the cupcakes they rotate the flavors, i love the "better then sunshine," their macarons are good, and they have a nice variety. Their coconut macaroons are sooo good, I think this is my number one favorite! Haha. They have amazing GF rolls and pies! They make amazing chocolate chip cookies with caramel and half chocolate dipped with seasalt.. amazing!

Wow! We hired the Cupcake Shoppe to do our personal wedding cake and cupcakes. My husband and I audibly GASPED when we bit into our cake on our wedding day- it was delicious! The cupcakes were the most complimented thing at our wedding. The service was phenomenal. Really, just an overall wonderful experience.

Amazing job on my wedding mini cupcakes! When we contacted them about options and tastings, the owner, Jennifer, gave us her personal cell number and sent us home with a list of different flavors we could try. We couldn’t narrow it down so we picked 5 flavors: Caramel Pecan, Carrot Cake, Lemon poppyseed, Peanut butter, Raspberry white chocolate. When it came to the tasting, the cupcakes were UNBELIEVABLY GOOD and Jennifer constantly talked about the recipes and the love she and her crew put into each one. I’m very much a icing girl and I was so impressed. Each cupcake also has their own fillings which was a delicious surprise. We even talked about gluten-free options and she blew me away explaining their process of how they separate out their batches, making them super safe even for those with allergies. When it came to our wedding day, we had a dozen of each of the 5 flavors and it took no time at all before all the cupcakes disappeared. My guests LOVED them. I made sure to steal 2 cupcakes for my new husband and I to take on our honeymoon. I wish we saved more! Jennifer kept thanking us for our business but honestly we should thank them for completing our day. Best decision we ever made!

I had the best cupcake of my life, thanks to Anna from the Cupcake Shoppe! She kindly shared a caramel bacon cupcake with me on the bus, and it was amazing!! perfectly balanced with a bold, sweet-salty flavor that blew me away. Anna’s warmth and generosity make her an incredible ambassador for this shop. I’m already excited to visit the store, try more unique flavors, and explore their other treats. Trust me, you need to check this place out!

I absolutely adore this shop. I’m not much of a cupcake person and never was but years ago my cousin showed me this bakery and I was HOOKED, it used to be called Ye Old Cupcakes. I live down in Midvale and I am more than happy to drive to Ogden. I’ve been to other bakeries near by and they can’t compete. I’ve also ordered cakes for weddings, Halloween, and birthday events. Yesterday I picked up my “30 years young” with 6 cupcakes and it was $81 which I think is a great price. The cake was absolutely stunning and not only the reason why I choose this bakery, the flavor is AMAZING. Unlike other bakery the cakes are cute but unfortunately dry but NOT this place. 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️ thank you guys again for everything.

One of the things I appreciate about a small, local business is the kindness and excitement that you get as soon as you walk in the door! We met Jennifer today and she was so lovely! She told me about all of their gluten free options (a bunch!) and said they are working on more variety. If you are gluten free, I HIGHLY recommend the cinnamon roll! I have not had one in two years - it was phenomenal! THANK YOU!

The cupcakes were delicious. We tried death by chocolate, lemon, and something with moon in the title, I can't remember. We also tried the chocolate dipped salted caramel cookies and some macaroons. It was all fabulous! The owners are also very kind and chatted for a bit with us. Will definitely go back!
