Cafeteria
Las Violetas is a 19th-century cafe and restaurant that exudes elegance and grandeur, maintaining its timeless charm with bronze columns, stained glass windows, and impeccably dressed waiting staff. This iconic establishment offers a taste of Buenos Aires' Golden Age, serving high tea with a spread of sweet and savory delights in an atmosphere that harks back to a bygone era.
Beautiful old craftsmanship in this restaurant. Had coffee and medialunas special. Treated very friendly as a solo diner. Good food as well.
Dawana D — Google review
Completely honest review. The place itself it’s nice and the service it’s good, now the food it’s just ok, the pastries were mostly dry and even a bit old, nothing great.. much better pastry shops in Buenos Aires for that price and even cheaper. It’s an experience and I think you pay for that, good to visit once but wouldn’t go back.
Val C — Google review
A true historical landmark of Buenos Aires. The architecture and ambiance harkens to the end of the 19th century when it was built. With over 30K reviews on google maps, very little else could be said about Cafe las Violetas. But I will add this, the food and pastry are hearty and delicious, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. I will also add that it is a must-visit item on your sightseeing itinerary of the city.
Anas K — Google review
This is one of the emblematic cafés in Buenos Aires, making it a “must visit.” However, in our experience, it was extremely overrated. We got a table quickly. Our servers were friendly and the service was fast - this was the only good part of our experience. We ordered the mixed sweet-savoury merienda for $50,000 ARS. For the price, one would expect top-notch quality. That simply wasn’t the case. The savoury platter was better than the sweet one - but it was “meh” at best. The cakes and pastries tasted old and stale. I’ve bought better-tasting cakes at Costco and Metro in Canada.
Mina T — Google review
The service could have been a little more attentive, like cleaning up the plates when we were done and ask then if we would like to order anything else. We were talking for half an hour over dirty plates until i finally waved the waiter and asked him to take the plates and to bring me some tea. He was very nice but I think waiters there should be trained to be proactive , approach the table from time to time and ask if the guests need anything even after they serves the order.
Elena — Google review
The interior is beautiful, and that alone makes the place worth a visit. But that’s the only reason you’ll have. The menu options are limited, the desserts are average, and the place itself is very packed and therefore quite noisy. You’ll hardly be able to have a relaxed conversation in a comfortable setting here. Prices are moderate.
Rinoa R — Google review
This is a must-visit coffee place in Buenos Aires! It vibes with its history and it takes you to other times. It’s not a modern coffee shop - but it brings its greatness to the present. Staff were friendly although moving a lot considering the place was busy. About the food, the juice and the cappuccino were great! - The grapefruit juice was abundant (see the pic) and it was super fresh. Cappuccino was also a nice size and delicious. The Avocado toast wasn’t as great as others I’ve tried but it was good. I don’t know if other stuff of the menu was better, I usually always ask the Avocado Toast for comparison to other places and because I really like it - I’d recommend making it a little different, maybe adding some tomato cherries or trying a different presentation with something that elevates it a little bit. I spent 10000 pesos Argentinos (January 2024) (remember I order juice, cappuccino and a plate)

Fast food restaurant
Chori is a vibrant and casual eatery known for its creative sausage sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. The star of the menu is the choripan, a classic Argentine street food featuring a simple yet delicious combination of chorizo sausage grilled over wood charcoal, nestled in a soft bun, and topped with flavorful chimichurri sauce. This popular dish is a staple in Argentina, enjoyed by locals before football matches, favored by taxi drivers, and readily available at markets and street stalls.
Very good choripan! The Nice neighbourhood of Palermo contributes to the vibes! Street food in a hipster place is sweet! To try but pricy for what you get. It’s a fast food/ street food that you get on plastic tray. Can we please avoid to put tips on the paying machine?
Giorgio F — Google review
Super tasty spot! I’ve tried both the smoked and the classic choripán — the smoked is definitely the winner. The ensalada de choclo is alright, but I’d go for the fries instead — better flavour and a more generous portion. The choripán itself is on the smaller side, but it’s absolutely delicious. Highly recommend getting it with the garlic mayo and a Patagonia beer. I’ve been before and I’ll definitely be back!
Jennifer P — Google review
Good spot for a classic local dish done right. I went for the traditional choripán and paired it with a Patagonia beer, great combo. (Small personal gripe: not a huge fan of the Stella Artois pint glasses, but that’s just me) My partner tried the beef choripán. Definitely not traditional, more like a burger, but good all the same! We visited on a quiet weekday afternoon. The place had a relaxed vibe with good music playing. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Would happily come back.
Laura B — Google review
Best choripan I've tried in Argentina. I had the smoked sausage and it was really good! There's a printed menu both in English and Spanish. You can sit outside if it's not too hot. My experience was really good and I hope I get to visit again soon.
Martina — Google review
SO delicious. Staff were friendly and provided a menu in English. Food was hot and fresh and just what I wanted.
Katherine D — Google review
Chorizo on a bun is a new experience for me and my life is forever changed. Burgers wish they could be this tasty and flavourful. Great combo of flavours for each type of chorizo. Fries were just ok, could have been hotter or fresher. Nice combo deals with drinks.
Angel L — Google review
I ordered the Porteño Choripan. The sandwich itself was great, the fries were ok. Total combo was around $20k. One thing that I don’t appreciate is that even though you line up to order and they don’t bring the food to you, they ask for tip.
Jaime A — Google review
Centrally located in Palermo. More of a gourmet take on the original choripan sandwich. The corn salad is very good. Takes credit card. Prices are higher than the rest of Buenos Aires, as any other place in the Palermo neighborhood.

Bakery
Daniel Bakery is a charming little bakery in Buenos Aires that's known for serving some of the best croissants in the city. The pastries are described as being on another level, with thin, crispy layers of golden-brown perfection. The glass counter inside displays a variety of pastries, each filled or topped with something special. Customers rave about the buttery and scrumptious croissants that are generously filled.
This bakery came highly recommended for having the best croissants, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! We tried the pistachio croissant, which had the perfect balance of creamy filling and pistachio flavor, and an apricot Danish with a subtle almond layer. Both were absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to come back and try more flavors.
Stefana V — Google review
Very delicious chocolate croissant filled with caramel. Freshly baked. Croissant baked perfectly and very generously topped. 4000 pesos for a croissant, so quite pricey. Sugar overload!
Commando M — Google review
The often imitated (by like every sub-par, instagram worshipping bakery in BA) but never duplicated, original stuffed croissants. Good quality, visually appealing and fairly priced. I also like the plain old croissants they sell. Get the fresh ones off the rack!
Jay — Google review
The best croissants in the city. Different tastes, always a win. Coffee is good as well. Super friendly and guest-oriented. Love it!
Irine F — Google review
You don't often come across this expertise in croissant making. Out of this world, possibly the best croissants I've ever had! The price is a bit higher than others, but worth every cent. The pistachio creme one is paradisiac. Look nowhere else for your breakfast.
Cristian G — Google review
Fabulous and creative pastries! I especially loved the pistacio croissant. We enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk patio with our treats.
Caroline A — Google review
This place is absolutely amazing! There are so many different types of croissants with different types of fillings. All of them look so good. The pistachio cream croissant was recommended (as the most popular flavor), and it was SOOO GOOD! I also had an ice latte to accompany the croissant, which was also very tasty. *Follow me if you want to see my reviews on other restaurants/cafes in BA*
KayKay W — Google review
This bakery is fabulous, I cannot stress how good their special pastries are. I couldn't finish a croissant by myself because of how buttery, scrumptious and full of filling they are. But that won't indicate it's not good - it's just super big, full on filling. I had their famous pistachio croissant. Oh my god, the patissiere is very light, and the pistachio cream, it's like a white chocolate Nutella with pistachio. It is delicious, really. The flakiness, buttery taste of a fresh croissant. Their coffee is good, but I didn't quite dig the almond milk. I think these treats are great to share with people, just four croissants to bring somewhere and everyone would enjoy. You can see people making and filling the fresh croissants in front of you (they have flavors such as patissiere, mango, raspberry, chocolate) and you can have your bite and your sip on the sidewalk seats. Give it a try!

Argot Café is a centennial bar in Buenos Aires with a retro porteno vibe. The café features a bookshelf of vintage Argentine cookbooks and offers a moody ambiance with original wood bar and tiled floor. It is run by budding restaurateurs Kenya Ama and Alejo Benitez, who also own the old school pizzeria El Lunfardo across the street. Visitors have praised the quality of the patisserie, describing it as luxury and made with love.
Friendly people, lovely vibe and delicious coffee!

(Translated by Google) A restaurant and cafe with a seasonal menu in the Villa del Parque neighborhood. I went on a Wednesday at 5 p.m., and there were plenty of free tables. The counter features freshly made products and several sweet and savory options. 📋 We ordered: 🫖 Hibiscus Iced Tea $4,400 ☕️ Iced Latte $4,300 🧀 Chipa $4,800 🥥 Cocada $4,000 🫖 The tea was delicious. I feel like it needed a little more hibiscus flavor. It comes with a thin slice of lemon. ☕️ The latte was good. 🧀 The chipa was very good, one of the most delicious things I had this afternoon. The portion is large and the filling is fluffy. It arrived warm. 🥥 The cocada is a coconut cone filled with dulce de leche. Delicious. Both drinks come in glass cups, which I find a bit small, plus they add a lot of ice, and it ends up being a bit of a drink. I'm disappointed that they don't offer almond milk when it's listed on the menu, and when I asked for lactose-free milk, they told me they only have whole milk. They have a seasonal menu that changes throughout the year. The dishes look very good and are a good size. You can find it in their Instagram highlights @argotcafe. 🏠 The space inside is narrow, with a couple of tables inside and a couple of tables outside. The atmosphere is beautiful. They have an open kitchen and a counter full of delicious products made that day. They welcome you with a complimentary bottle of water. 🐶 It's pet-friendly, and there's a very friendly greyhound wandering around the tables. I'll come back for lunch. ⭐️ Chipa

Confitería Ideal, a historic two-storey building that once sold luxurious European home wares, now houses a charming café. The ground floor offers morning coffees and afternoon tea, while the first floor hosts milongas and dance classes. Visitors are greeted with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The café also caters to vegetarians and offers tempting cakes and pastries displayed in glass cabinets that used to showcase fine goods.
From the moment you walk in the door, you are taken care of. The place is stunning and they really have maintained this place [since 1912]. They had a wide variety of desserts.. hard to pick since they all looked scrumptious. We all loved our food and drinks. The service was top-notch with the delicious food and ambiance to boot. The pricing is about what you would expect for this type of place. Next time I will try to tea time with friends. Don't skip this place when in Buenos Aires. Highly recommend!

This place is so beautiful and such good places like this are really hard to find these days. The atmosphere is really out of this world, like the place is still in 1912. The food was great, warm and just fabulous. The service was Great, no wait time, almost nothing unpleasant. I recommend this place highly for people who want to enjoy a special one time experience. A bit expensive but it is worth it.

I had a quick snack before my flight and hostess was very helpful when I asked for a recommendation. Food was great and the owner walks around and talks to customers. Very nice guy. I recommend this place not just because of history and architecture but also service.

It is impressive to see the details of the building and how much history has been well preserved at this cafe. They offer traditional breakfast menu which of course, medialunas, tostados, and cafe. Sparkling water is provided if you order cafe - very nice touch! It might take a while for the waiter to come to you and take your order. However, patience will give you a wonder experience of Argentine breakfast or merienda.

A beautifully renovated Confiteria in Buenos Aires. The interiors are stunning. When it’s full the vibe is like in the old days. The food and coffee is delicious. It’s a bit pricey, but at least for tangueros, this is a legendary place. This is where you could see Javier Rodriguez dancing with Geraldine Rojas in the film “Tango salón, confitería La Ideal” with Pupi Castelo.

Must try restaurant. Ask for Rogelio. The coffee here is in its own category. The menu feels like you are ordering from a movie. I’m not a big sweets person but I had to try everything. Make sure to get the cafe de le maestro. You won’t be disappointed

Such a fancy café — feels like stepping into an old aristocrat’s home! I didn’t expect much from the desserts, but they were actually delicious and not overly sweet. Just a bit pricey, though
Wei S — Google review
Found this place as a breakfast place but it is really a high tea spot, I.e. loads of sweets and finger sandwiches. There was one scrambled eggs on the menu which I ordered and ngl it was the best scrambled eggs I ever had in my life. They only have cow’s milk, and no americano so I convinced the waiter to add water to my espresso so I can have a black coffee. Also ordered a baguette (ham and cheese) which was sooo good and extremely large. I would say share a breakfast here and be prepared for cow’s milk. The venue itself was gorgeous and the staff are super polite and helpful.

I loved it. Food isn’t brilliantly cooked. Not far from school food standard. I went for dinner and maybe coffee/ pastries are their strengths? Staff are a bit disinterested to begin with. But once you settle into the pace and style (it’s a bit New York in attitude) it’s great. Don’t come for the food necessarily at night (can’t comment on the cool looking pastries and coffee machines) but the vibe is really good. Also really good value.

6th March 2025 I was there, poor service cause the waiter think that I’m not understand spanish which is I speak. At the beginning I can see he not will not give good service to me. So I speak only English with him. I wait food for long time 40minutes for 1 steak only! And end of service waiter ask me for tip. I give 10dollar to him and thats my last time there. Not gonna comeback! Poor service!

I was quite frankly disgusted and appalled by the service of the Florida Garden Staff. My wife had prepared a bottle of milk for our son after a long flight. At first the staff said sure until they realised they couldn’t „sell“ us the water as the bottle was already made. They then proceeded to ignore her and when she talked to them. I can’t rate the food but on human decency they don’t deserve any better rating than 1*

Not sure why this is categorized as hotel because it was a restaurant. The waiters all dress up in white and they have displays of a lot of sweets. The restaurant seemed to be in a rough condition and the waiters are not really attentive and nobody might talk to you when you walk in. The food wasn’t bad considering how touristy restaurants here suck. This place has edible tasty food.

Maru Botana is a popular spot known for its delicious cakes and pastries. It's conveniently located next to El Torreon, making it a great place to enjoy lunch followed by some delectable desserts. The Rogel cake comes highly recommended, especially if you have someone to share it with. The Sable de Frutos Rojos is also a must-try, described as possibly the best cake in existence.
Yes to everything you order here😍This is one of the best go to bakeries in Buenos Aires. Please try their Tartas, I was obsessed with the one with puerros, Parmesan and ham. One of the best I’ve had! Their medialunas with ham and cheese. Their menu of the day will surprise you in a pleasant way. The atmosphere is tricky because it is a very tiny place and they usually have a lot of wait. Their cake portions are HUGE, I tried the maracuya mouse bacause I felt overwhelmed with the other options, I was scared they would be too rich.

We came here as friends invited us over. First of all, I was told it’s a famous Argentinian Chef making amazing sweets, so I was curious. We had some coffee & shared a lemon pie. To us the Merenge was simply too much for a good lemon pie & the coffees were good. Less good was the service that showed up exactly twice, once for order, once for payment. When we hadn’t even payed, I went to the restroom (rather unpleasant) and when I came back the waiter already had given my chair away… :-/ Additionally, cause it’s so well-known it is also massively overcrowded and therefore quite noisy.

What a disappointment. Starting by the slow service, followed by menu items not being available. Bread for one of the sandwiches was replaced by a sad undercooked ciabatta, server had to go out to buy almond milk which I was told was available. My sandwich was burnt and when I pointed this out, there was no apology, the server just turned around and had another one prepared for me. Coffees took forever because they did not have almond milk. Only good item was the lemon pie which was delicious. Totally overpriced and not worth it.

unfortunately bought 4 alfajores yesterday. They all tasted very old and expired. These should be fresh everyday. Please replace produce every 2-3 days. Do not keep these on your shelves for weeks at a time. Very disappointed. VERY

Good place to have something sweet. Maru Botana is well known for the delicious cakes, that have no waste, but this time I went for lunch. I’ve been before in another branch, where I had a veggie pie with salad that was INCREDIBLE. This time I had a burger with chips, pretty good! I wanted to hace smth sweet but I had no room, will hace to get back! Speaking of this specific brunch, the place is in front of a park, very cozy. Just a bit small and the tables are too close to each other. Table service is not good at all, unprofessional I would say.

Dos Escudos is a bakery and café in Buenos Aires, Argentina that specializes in classic Argentinian pastries and sweets. The café's interior and atmosphere aren't necessarily memorable, but if you're around the area it's worth a visit. There are tortas, croissants, donuts, churros etc. all oozing with dulce de leche from every pore. It can get busy at times, but it's a great little cafe for lunch.
Im afraid living next to this place has cost us a pant size. I have probably tried everything and everything is absolutely delicious - the cakes, the medialunas, the freshly prepared to-go food. I am in love 😊
Oxana R — Google review
Great breakfast options, good portions. The only “issue” for us was that when we ordered a double espresso, we got a 8oz coffee. The cappuccino was delicious, and the orange juice too (freshly squeezed).
Carol S — Google review
What a great little cafe. The coffee is excellent, especially when you ask for crema. They do great salads too and in particular their pollo wok is wonderful. I'm there almost daily for a coffee!!! Muchas gracias
Ruth O — Google review
Dos Escudos is both a cafe and a pastry shop. This review is about the bakery and pastry shop, which is our favorite "high end" patisserie in Buenos Aires. High end because it is more expensive than most, but not by much, and especially because the quality of the confectionery is just outstanding, both in terms of ingredients and preparation. The raspberry cake with chantilly cream is absolutely to die for and the Sandwiches de miga are second to none. The store is most often packed (always a good sign) but you take a number so there is no need to stand in line and wait for your turn in a crowd. Service is very attentive and the old ambience of the place adds to the charme. If you want to bring a cake to a dinner, they also come beautifully packaged.

Gustado's Bakery, located in the Flores neighborhood near Caballito, is a charming establishment that caters to both sweet and savory cravings. The bakery offers an extensive selection of baked goods including tortas, pastries, factura, empanadas, and sandwiches. Visitors praise the attentive and amiable staff as well as the high-quality offerings. While some note that prices are on the higher side, many believe it's justified by the exceptional food quality.
The place is always packed with customers trying to buy something. Cakes, sandwiches, pastries, bread, whatever you get in this places is guaranteed to be amazing! However with such good quality in food comes a high price but in my opinion it is worth it.

Over priced and the sandwiches are nasty. These people make a killing considering how much they charge and how poor the quality the sandwiches are. Empanadas are good and the facturas are good, but sandwiches stink. Spend your money else where.

Co-Pain, located in Caballito near Parque Centenario, is a beloved bakery that has undergone a transformation after the departure of its legendary owner. The boulangerie now offers an array of reasonably priced French pastries and breads, including croissants, brioche, pan au chocolat, and various regional specialties.
The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We ordered soup, the Brie on baguette, and a ham and cheese on a softer bread that was recommended by the waitress for the girls, turned out to be a major win. The girls loved this place (6 and 3) because their sandwich was delicious but also the fresh smoothies. The service was excellent, I cannot say enough!

I really wanted to like it but it wasn’t a great experience, the staff seemed stressed and rushed and so we felt rushed and then they were out of what we both ordered (regular croissant and mini pound cake). I tried the pistachio croissant but it was too sweet and rich for me. Mainly the dine in experience wasn’t great but I’d go back for plain croissants to go

Fantastic coffee shop! Definitely one of the most expensive coffees in Buenos Aires but the quality was great with both the cappuccino and the pain au chocolate. The interior has a very nice, cozy aesthetic as well.

My favorite coffee in Recoletta! They have the best homemade almond milk in the area and their flat whites are to die for. The California sandwich is essentially the same as Kyoto sandwich, a bit underwhelming for the price, but the cinnamon roll was totally worth it. Overall, it’s crazy that a good coffee would cost you almost 7dollars (even San Francisco doesn’t have those prices) but it’s not them to blame.

Pretty good coffee, but not great. Especially not for the price. I know it’s specialty coffee, but I feel like it’s hard to justify asking €3,80 for a double espresso. Especially when coming from the Netherlands, that has ridiculous prices overal but where the most famous cafes/roasters in Amsterdam (one of the most expensive cities in Europe) are still cheaper than this….

Amazing little breadery. They have a small selection of about 6 fixed bread items, and then about 6 fixed pastries; on top of that they usually have one or two wild items that they'll only have for that day. Everything is super tasty! They also serve a coffee which is just ok, but serving coffee seems more like a cheeky addition, rather than an actual product.

Bought one pistacchio roll and a nutella + cream roll. Maybe I was too ambitious for expecting to feel any pistacchio or nutella taste, because it didn’t happen. The pistacchio roll is filled basically with pastry cream, while the nutella one is filled mostly with a similar cream that has a more sour taste. Also, I’m very disappointed to see, in the old photos posted by other people, that the nutella roll was really filled with nutella in the past.

You’re looking at about 2,000 pesos ($2.50 at the blue) for one of the biggest and tastiest pastries you’ve had in your life. Ask for the stuffed croissant or anything stuffed. Dulce de leche, pistachos, and even passion fruit. Do not miss this! Make it number one on your list to visit when in Buenos Aires.

Hands down the best French style laminated pastries in town, but with local flavor twists. The stars of the show are the croissant rolls (aka NY rolls), which you’ll find filled with anything from Nutella, pistachiella or local dulce de leche. Also available as alfa-rolls, as an homage to the local alfajor (dulce de leche filled cookie sandwich). There are only a few tables and a bar, so you can eat in while having a coffee or just take home if there’s no space. Pastries selection changes through the day as items run out, but new different items are replenished fresh.

Went here yesterday, alongside my girlfriend. We had a ham and cheese medialuna, a piece of red velvet cake, a pistachio croissant, and a baguette to take home. To drink, my girlfriend had a latte, and I had a bottled orange drink. The food was, simply put, DELICIOUS. Seriously, this has got to be one of the best bakeries in Buenos Aires (the pistachio croissant, in particular, was amazing). The staff was extremely courteous, which they had to be, because the one downside of this place are the extremely long waiting times: we easily waited over 40 min, between the ordering line and waiting for our food. Granted, the place was packed, and the food was worth it, but the place would be near perfect if they managed to shorten the waiting time.

Malcriada BAKERY DE BARRIO is a popular spot in Palermo that has recently moved to a larger location. Known for reshaping classic treats, it offers delicious coffee and an array of baked goods, including white chocolate brownies with raspberries and fluffy cakes. Visitors can enjoy iced Americanos and big chunks of chocolate chip cookies while relaxing at the ample outdoor seating.
It is almost impossible to resist trying every single delicious pastry they have on display. A wide variety of both savory and sweet, ranging from fresh well-balanced sandwiches to delectable mouth-watering cakes and puff pastries. The atmosphere is cosy and warm, it complements very nicely the hearty and buttery flavors of the cookies and alfajores they offer. It easily ranks as one of the top cafes/bakeries in Palermo, as well as one of my favorite spots to sip a delicious coffee and read a book, and of course enjoy the desserts.

The coffee was delicious! Flat white was very good. I've always wanted to come here but every time i saw long lines and could never get in. Now they moved to a bigger place so I saw the opportunity to enjoy. I ordered a white chocolate brownie with white chocolate cream and raspberries on top. It was very big and very good. The brownie wasn't very gooey it was more of a fluffy cake. If you're a total fan of raspberry desserts this place is a must. They have lots of options with raspberry which in my case is one of my favorite fruits.

Everything here looks irresistible. I tried the chocolate dulce de leche cake my first time and it was amazing. The second time I went for the pepa de dram Jess and the vanilla/chocolate cookie. The cookie was one of the best I’ve ever had but the pepa was a bit dry. It’s definitely a pricey place, the cake being 13,500 pesos slice but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to try more.

The Bagel bagel and cakes were super delicious and the best meal I had so far in Argentina(and I’m trying a lot) The food really is exceptional. The only bad thing is, that there is not a really nice place to sit.

It’s a huge portion so that kind of balances out the much higher price point, the cheese cake is very light and fluffy you just keep eating it. Had pistachio croissant so yum as well.

Cafe
Bicho Café de Especialidad Recoleta is a charming little café in Buenos Aires that offers a delightful selection of baked classics and expertly crafted coffees. Despite its small size, the café's precisely made coffees, such as the perfectly steamed latte served in handmade red clay mugs, are a must-try. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it an ideal spot for serious coffee lovers to enjoy their favorite brews.
Came in for a quick pick me up in the evening before dinner, so I didn’t want to fill up. Only went for a flat white and no food, though their pastries looked good. Maybe next time. Coffee tasted great, though I would have liked it a bit warmer - but that’s on me for not asking ahead of time as this is quite normal for cafes in Buenos Aires.

A good place to grab a cup of coffee. Baristas are very lovely, they also serve pretty nice cinnamon rolls. However, cannot recommend medialunas and canele, undercooked, tried several times. Still is a good place to visit!

Really cool vibe! The outdoor seating is nice, and they have good, high quality espresso. Super cool crowd too -- an Argentine university student studying, a French family, and a supposed big shot Argentine actor (according to the Argentine I was with) -- at the time I was there

Came to Buenos Aires for business for four days snd this cafe is one of my favorite cafes in the Recoleta area. I ordered the Latte with a Croissant con JYQ and a Yogurt con granola which is probably one of the best I had in the city. My colleague ordered the Flat white with a Scon de queso and a Tostado de Jamon y queso that did not disappoint as well. The service and the vibe of the cafe was great as well! Definitely will be coming back if any chance presents itself to be back to Argentina

Nestled in the heart of Belgrano R, "Cruasan" is a charming bakery run by the talented baker Andres Brunero. This unique spot, located in what was once a garage, offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely afternoon at one of their sidewalk tables. The star of the show here is undoubtedly their croissants—crispy, light, and perfectly layered.
Omg this place has one of the best classic and special croissant in BA. There barely any room to stay there, it's best to take away. They also offer cookies, coffee and other puff pastry options. Don't miss this little spot in Urquiza
Mavi C — Google review
I guess the owner served me because he feels entitled to take the customer to the absurd… When I ordered a croissant with coffee, he treated me like an idiot for not knowing exactly what they called the standard coffee (like in Italy, where you just ask for a coffee and they know what the standard is). The man seems to think he’s very successful. And the iron chairs on the sidewalk… My God! Elon Musk type of guy but without the billions of dollars, just a dirty little place right next to an avenue full of buses… After reading the bad reviews I now know which ones are the real reviews and which are not… Also very expensive, just go to Ninina, The Coffee Store that are cheaper, spacious, beautiful, clean…

An excellent place for a coffee on the go. Their espresso is strong and smooth. Their pastries are on another level - especially the croissants. A Buenos Aires Gem: Ada Café Nestled on a bustling street corner of Buenos Aires, Ada Café stands as a testament to the burgeoning coffee culture slowly weaving its way through the city. This charming café is easily one of the top spots for coffee aficionados and casual sippers alike. The employees at Ada Café exude warmth and friendliness, adding a personal touch to each visit that makes you feel right at home amidst the urban hustle. When it comes to value, the café hits the sweet spot with prices that won't break the bank, making it a go-to for anyone looking to indulge in a coffee break without any guilt. The display of food and sweets is a feast for the eyes, and while I haven't sampled these treats personally, the buzz around them suggests they're as delightful to taste as they are to look at. The café's popularity is a double-edged sword; its allure draws in crowds, meaning you might find yourself waiting for a table more often than not. Additionally, the vibrant street life characteristic of Buenos Aires does not subside here, with the adjacent roads bustling with traffic and the city's soundtrack. While this adds to the lively atmosphere, it might detract from the experience for those seeking a quiet corner. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Buenos Aires with a craving for a good brew and a vibrant atmosphere, Ada Café is a must-visit. Just be prepared for a lively, and potentially noisy, café experience reflective of the city's soul.

They ask you to stay no more than two hours, but there weren't that many people when I went, and I ordered again, so it seemed flexible. I started off with a cold (but no ice) matcha latte with dairy-free milk, and it was so good. It had the perfect amount of sweetness already. Later on, I ordered the menu of the day. To make it vegan, I got the black bean, avocado, and strawberry salad with the strawberry lemonade and a piece of banana bread. This is the first banana bread I have tried here in Buenos Aires that rivals my own. The salad was so fresh. I'm inspired to recreate it at home. The strawberry lemonade was also quite good, not too sweet or tart. I was very impressed with everything I tried here and will definitely be back to try the rest of the vegan options on their menu. It was a bit on the pricey side (total came to 15000 pesos after a discount for paying in cash), but it was worth it. The menu del día at 11000 pesos was a great value.

Lovely little place. Food is prepared with love and tastes great. The pastries are excellent quality and the creamy eggs + avocado is my favorite breakfast. Will keep on coming back.

Interesting choices here, we got the flourless chocolate cookie, and it was a heat; then we got the Matt lemonade and it was good, but the coffee was great… interesting enough. It’s only dripped coffee the one that serve up here but it’s a nice blend. Bonus point for a really good service

(Translated by Google) Everything we tried was delicious, including the Basque cake and croissants. Perhaps they were a little crowded because there were so many people and several items were missing from the menu, but the service was still very good. I found the coffee light but tasty. The place was pleasant, with good prices and generous portions. I would go back to try more. (Translated by Google) A great lunch option on Saavedra. We spent around $65K and ordered two chicken sandwiches, a chipá, a Milanese with noodles (the dish of the day), and the Basque cake. The prices were very affordable for today, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Everything tasted homemade, with great ingredients. I highly recommend the same dishes I ordered. They also include a spectacular sourdough bread basket. A special mention for Tita, the restaurant's dog; she's a sweetheart and wanders around at a slow pace. The place also has a terrace, which unfortunately was occupied. I recommend going very early because the place fills up (we had to wait around 25/30 minutes). The only downside, with the greatest respect, is that on that day it was very windy/cold, and we were sitting right at the entrance, and a rather friendly little whistle was coming in under the door. Beyond that, I repeat that the food was fantastic.

While you can't actually rent any films here, the ambiance will transport you back in time. The café not only serves delicious food but also offers generous portions at reasonable prices.

(Translated by Google) On August 10th, I bought an ensaimada at "La Ensaimada" in San Pedro. According to the recipe on the box where it's sold, the "pastry cream" says it has eggs, which it doesn't. I was tricked, and I paid for it as pastry cream. As most or all of us know, pastry cream has eggs, and it had no flavor or the typical color that eggs give it; it was a clean white. Everything here is delicious and top shelf. The staff is polite, efficient, and warm. The menu is seasonal, ever-changing and superb. They package their ingredients and sell them to, and believe me, whenever you taste what they have to offer you'd like to get them. It's an unpretentious place with emphasis on quality and service. It's always takes up with a solid clientele that keeps the place just from dawn until dusk. One of my new favorite places for sure, luckily, they have other locations I look forward to visit. Give stars aren't enough.

We got vegan options for takeaway: ragú, tartine, hummus and babaganoush with bread. Everything was pretty good except the the ragu lacked a bit of flavor, could use a kick of more spices. The tartine was alright, maybe a pesto or a sauce on top wouldve done the touch. You can tell its quality ingredients though and thats awesome. Definitely will return.

Yesterday, Sunday 13th of January, I went with my wife and friend at 18:30 hrs to have an afternoon tea. The experience was disappointing: the waitresses were not concentrating in the orders, there was almost no choice available from the menu to share with the coffee or tea, and the quality of the waffle I finally chose was very poor. The price high! Next time I will try other offers available in Nordelta!

My friend had the pork sandwich described containing onions and green peppers, I guess they ran out of green peppers. I had the chicken sandwich described containing caramelized onions and rucula, some kind of green. Just a plane dried chicken breast on dry bread and a bit of boiled onions. No flavor at all. Left it on the table. Disappointed 😞 their excuse "they ran out if products". But charged me just the same. They're pastries are very good. They should just stick to a sweet coffee shop.

I had lunch today. The food was OK, nothing special. Edible. The quality of the coffee was low, burnt. After complaining and ordering a new one, the manager came to ask me to never go again since he didn’t want me to complain about the quality of the products. If the manager offers this kind of treatment, you can imagine the rest. Absolutely dreadful service. Don’t recomment it at all. Not only did the manager came to threaten me at the table after I had my lunch but also showed to have no respect for clients and I had an awful time. If you are at Cardales better eat at home.

(Translated by Google) I am always looking for places that meet my expectations of quality and service. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Hausbrot, a place that promised a cozy and familiar experience. However, I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed. In order to provide a fair and complete review, I will divide my analysis into different key aspects. Let's start with the issue of prices. It's true that Hausbrot is an affordable place, costing approximately $1,100 per person. As for the place itself, Hausbrot stands out for its beauty and cozy atmosphere. Despite its charm, it is worth mentioning that the space is somewhat small, which may affect the comfort of diners, although the place was not as busy as I expected. Perhaps this lack of influx is due to the lack of variety in their menu. Precisely, Hausbrot's weak point lies in its lack of gastronomic options. During my visit, I was surprised to discover that most of the dishes I wanted to try (which were on the menu) were not available. This limited selection of dishes left a lot to be desired and did not meet my expectations. Moving on to the drinks section, I was equally dissatisfied. The infusions I ordered were lukewarm and were not accompanied by a glass of water, which I consider an unacceptable omission in an establishment like this. I had to request additional water, which showed carelessness in service and lack of attention to the simplest details. Regarding the payment experience, the time it took to get paid was excessive due to staff shortages. Although they offer a wide variety of payment options, this delay was unacceptable. Finally, I want to highlight the attention of the Hausbrot staff. Although it was generally acceptable, I noticed that they lacked enthusiasm and desire to satisfy customers' needs. If they were asked about any particular detail, they responded without much dedication. Overall, if you are looking for a quality and excellent dining experience, I would recommend exploring other options more in line with higher standards.

(Translated by Google) A warm place to go for lunch or a snack, alone or with someone, they have a great variety of delicious things. In my case, I ordered an avocado toast that was exquisite, I must admit. I accompanied it with a bowl of coffee with milk that, to my taste, was very watery and extremely hot. Apart from that, it is not expensive and the service is good. What surprised me most was that they didn't give you a receipt; they charged me the total without giving me any details of what I spent. Plus, you order something, and they bring it to you in the most rude way. I won't be back. (Translated by Google) My girlfriend and I have shopped there several times, and the truth is, we returned because, even though their prices aren't the cheapest, the quality was always very good. Why the 3 stars? Because our last experience was awful. We brought the dozen pastries, like the last few times, but they gave us pastries that I can compare to bakeries that sell the dozen for half the price here. It seems harsh because it happened to us once, but honestly, if the product clearly didn't turn out as expected, they shouldn't even be selling it. It was obvious they weren't their usual counterparts, but we trusted them anyway, and we got this unpleasant surprise.

(Translated by Google) I stopped at a well-appointed bakery because I was passing through. An employee served me without much desire to show me good options, so I quickly chose a pudding from the window. To my surprise I found an AWESOME marble pudding cooked just like at grandma's house. Extraordinary sponginess and exquisite flavor. Standing ovation for that magnificent white chocolate coating that hugged it, giving it the real finishing touch. The only thing I tried, it is 100% recommended!!
