Un repas d’anniversaire inoubliable! Had a wonderful birthday meal here- delicious and good sized portions. Had a set meal with starter, main, cheese board and dessert. The wine pairings for the mains were excellent! Was pleasantly full and not uncomfortably stuffed. Didnt have to worry about language barriers- our waiter Jonathan was super accommodating explaining the different wine pairings, and was maintaining speaking French to me whilst also speaking to my partner in English. 10/10, would recommend! Merci bcp! Ps. Try the in-house madeleines- they’re great! 👍👍

Had dinner at À la Table du Bon Roi Stanislas in Nancy and was thoroughly impressed. The place is small and simple in interior design, but it exudes a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Started with the Quasi de Veau rôti au basilic et parmesan, which was excellent in taste. The veal was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the basil and parmesan. For dessert, I had the Blanc-Manger, which was delightfully light and creamy, providing a satisfying end to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Despite the modest decor, the quality of the dishes truly stands out, making this restaurant a must-visit for anyone in Nancy.

We had the most amazing meal here and they were so kind to us and made it easy to interact in English. The food was delicious and we had the best and friendliest service in France.

Very good restaurant in a side street in Nancy. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and a knowledgeable and attentive (but not intrusive) front of house. Food was very good with a Polish influence and the portions were of a good size without being too large. A good selection of beers and wines were available also. Very reasonably priced, we came away feeling very happy and well fed. Highly recommended.

Best food experience in Nancy!! You definitly taste top quality and freshness of the ingredients. Each dish is home made and prepared with fine skills. We stayed 2 nights in Nancy and came back here TWICE. Super professional service, the waiter really took his time to explane everything on the menu. Don't hesitate to come here!

Their foods, service and atmosphere were nice. I'm not the biggest fun for french cuisine but their products reminded me Japan often and I really love it. A little bit salty for me, but i prefer light taste tho. Thank you!!

5 star!! We stopped here a couple of years ago, pre pandemic (sadly many things have changed during the intervening period), and decided to stop in on this visit to Nancy. On arrival, we learnt the ownership had changed having previously honed their skills in England - yes, I mean it! We opted for the 3 course menu with wine pairing and were not disappointed. The menu was balanced and seasonal. The preparation and presentation inspirational. The service was informed and delightful. The view of the park from the terrace on a lovely summer's evening was a bonus. What a delightful evening. Highly recommended and look forward to coming again on our next stop though Nancy.

Such a great dinner from the service to the food. Everything was well orchestred in a charming atmosphere. What I appreciated the most was the staff! Young, polite and elegant. They made us feel comfortable. A huge thanks to them.

Excellent cuisine and a very pleasant service in a beautiful environment. Especially beautiful in the evening hours when the lighting is switched on. Excellent wines! All in all very inexpensive for quality.

Beautiful restaurant and good service but the food simply doesn’t live up to expectations. From the first bite of oily, rubbery, deep fried (long before service) noodle canapé to the last bite of several days old madeleine. At any restaurant, most of the dishes sent would not be acceptable, let alone at a Michelin star establishment. I could go on but I don’t want to ramble. I cannot recommend this place.

This restaurant has excellent food. The dough was well prepared and baked to perfection just as we like it. We do reccomend making a reservation. We were very grateful to be seated without a reservation after driving from Germany. We are appreciative of the owners kindness and service!

Me and my friends were looking for a place in Nancy to eat on a budget and were not disappointed by Restaurant Pidice. Our entire meal was €36 and it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was receptive to us not speaking French and was helpful. The owner even came up to our table and asked us where we were from, and thanking us for our service. We will definitely be back again.

The food is great, something really special. Would love to have something like this a bit closer than 1000km away. Ice tea was fantastic. The owner needs to learn something about Slovenia, he tried but failed 😁

So delicious, this place is amazing. I found it when i first time planned the trip to Nancy and i had to visit this place. I am a huge fan of Pide. I tried so many different pides in different places and this is one of the best. It was freshly made from scratch , with fresh and delicious ingredients mixed together. Vegeterian, fish and meat versions are avaliable.

Everything was perfect, great meal Pides were delicious and hot, and ice tea was very cold and refreshing. Excellent, friendly service!

We had a beautiful family lunch on a Saturday. The menu is gives plenty of options and each plate is beautifully crafted and simply delicious. The service is warm and attentive. Just the right amount of attention when needed. Mr and my family had a great time… most importantly… the food is just delicious, delicate and flavorful.

Excellent small restaurant. Quiet, discreet atmosphere. Kind, polite staff. Outstanding cuisine. Be sure to try the local Toul gris (rose) wine. Only seven tables so reservations are a good idea.

We very much enjoyed our meal at V Four. It was a lovely evening and we were able to sit outside in a very pretty part of town. The restaurant staff were very welcoming and competent and the meal was delicious. The restaurant itself is quite small, but nicely appointed.

Food was excellent. Service ? : we asked for water and 2 glasses of wine at the beginning of the order and had to ask again after serving of each plate. As my wife doesn’t eat meat I joked with the waiter to put her chorizo on my plate when we ordered the mussels for starter with the result that none of us had the chorizo on the plate 😤

This was the best diner we had this year The restaurant is small and nice. We had the opportunity to eat outside but decided to have our diner inside. We went for the 6 course menu and asked to get accompanied wine. The food was just excellent and the wine pairing was great. The young lady gave a very good explanation of the wine. Price of champaign was rather high (17€), but the food and wine were rather cheap. We will certainly be back to Nancy and to V-Four as well Thanks to the whole team for our special evening and fantastic experience

The menu was excellent. The service was good. The only thing we didn't like is a division between tables that is not well installed and, as we experienced with our toddler, very easy to knock it down. The food was generous at a reasonable price.

Had dinner at Brasserie L'Excelsior in Nancy, and the Art Nouveau interior is absolutely stunning. The ornate ceilings, stained glass, and the central tree installation create a unique and memorable atmosphere. I ordered the Choucroute Strasbourgeoise as my main dish. It was not bad at all, featuring a generous portion of sauerkraut and assorted meats. However, it didn't particularly stand out in terms of flavor or presentation. For dessert, I had the Tout Nancy, a local specialty parfait with bergamot and mirabelle. It was pleasant and light, offering a nice regional touch to end the meal. The service was totally fine, with staff being attentive and courteous throughout the evening.

I almost never make reviews so this one is for the skeptical readers—There’s so much mixed comments about this place that I can’t even begin. I decided to visit and thank God I did—we had a wonderful time. Yes, the food indeed took some time but nothing absurd or unusual. Dishes were delicious. We had oysters, the duck and the steak. Everything great. Desserts, ugh. 🤤 The profiteroles + crepe were so, so good. The place itself is beautiful and we had a lovely waitress who made us feel welcome.

Nestled in the heart of the city, it is a stunning tribute to the Art Deco style of the 1910s, seamlessly blending elegance with a nostalgic charm with intricate geometric patterns, rich colors, and stylish furnishings that evoke an era of sophistication. The menu features a selection of classic French dishes Soupe à l'Oignon and Steak Tartare. The food is acceptable but not as impressive as its deco.

We had a late breakfast with pastries, coffee and hot chocolate stopping off on the self guided Art Nouveau walking tour. Server was patient with our basic understanding of French.

It’s like time slipping into the Art Nouveau era. Perfect place for a date but a little noisy. Going there early was a good idea o avoid the massive crowd. Food was nice. Choucroute was lovely. The cabbage was perfect, a little on the soft side though.

I was about to order two dishes when the waiter stopped me, he was right. I was full after having the Lorraine quiche and the crème brûlée. The brûlée was five times larger than ones I eat in Japan and had a great bergamot scent. I think you can access to delicious dishes at a reasonable price. I went in around 6pm without a reservation, but if you can, I recommend making a reservation in advance. Even if you don't speak French, you can feel at ease.

Great place- fabulous location, quick and friendly service. Simon our waiter was wonderful and a masterclass in up selling! He recommended great dishes and drinks and was very knowledgeable. Very relaxed atmosphere and whilst not exactly low cost it was value for money.

Proper brasserie vibe, with lots of customers, fast and very professional service, and reasonably priced food (if you consider the flashy location right on Place Stanislas). Definitely worth a detour for a lunchtime outing. The fish and steak mains and pavlova dessert all went down very well.

Nice location, you can sit inside an elegant place inside the beautiful Stanislas square. A good dessert, but definitely not a good service. Customer’s attention doesn’t belong to this Café. The staff is not polite and they just fill the place to make money. The tea service is also not in line with the name and the elegance that is supposed to belong to such Café similar to other historical Café in Europe. Definitely a place I will not go back the next times I will be again in Nancy.

The management of this restaurant is not very client friendly. We were directed to a table on the terrace next to the restaurant and then suddenly taken by a different manager to a table on the terrace in the square. He said it was due to the need for a table for seven people but that was a lie. Subsequently there the table we were at was filled with three people. The manager then told us it was due to the need to manage the waitstaff. This manager was very unfriendly and had no ability to care for the client. The food was relatively good but the experience was not at all good due to the unfriendly nature of the management. The waiter did his best but I would not recommend going to this restaurant given their lack of consideration for the client.

Grand Cafe FoyOur dinner was very good one plate fish and one plate chicken. The atmosphere would have been enjoyable except I think the waiter was having a bad day. The window pinkish colored chairs and table, the seats were uncomfortable, very low to sit in. We asked to move , the restaurant was empty at the time and the waiter rudely moved us to the next table . After a while another couple was seated at the same window table and asked to move. Again he was rude , grabbed one of the chairs and literally tossed it to the side , grabbed a regular chair and she used that. Her husband sat uncomfortable during dinner. All of it seemed unnecessary. We all have bad days, yet customer service is important. We did not return for another meal

Came here without prior reservation. The staff was very welcoming and courteous. They gave us a table at the window on the floor with a wonderful view over the public square. The food was delicious, and the desserts mouth-watering. All in all, I recommend this café.

Despite it is very touristic place it is worse visit. Steak Rossini is delicious. Also try their croissants in the morning - one of the best ever

Cosy restaurant with a few vegetarian options. My main course was a bit too rich overall, but it tasted very nice. The soup was amazing. Excellent wine as well, and a nice atmosphere. Great service!

Located in a street with many restaurants we found this place. The area looked a little touristy but when our starters came we were very happy to chosen this place. Food, especially the starters were excellent. The main course disappointed a bit unfortunately. The service was good, though would recommend one of the staff to take care of personal hygiene on hot days (use deodorant).

Enjoyed very much this welcoming, stylish and cozy, culinary find in the heart of Nancy, a short walk from Place Stanislas. Traditional and modern cuisine are served and hosted by foodies who are also great wine and local produce lovers. Can't wait to return to enjoy this on the outside terrace in this quiet street.

Beautiful food served by very welcoming and accommodating staff! The staff were happy to translate some of the menu for me. I had beautifully seared scallops with Pea Puree! A salad of ricotta with squash. Duck breast with sweet potato puree/ bacon lardons. And a Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream (which was stunning!) Will definitely be coming back soon, if not for the food then definitely for the extensive wine menu!

We had a lovely dinner here last night. The food was excellent. You do need to be a little patient between courses as they are actually cooking it for you. General ambience and service was also very good. We ate outside as the weather was lovely, but the inside dining room also looked very nice. We went for the fixed price menu Gentilhommiere, which was ve4y fairly priced given the quality of the food.

Great food, although the fries were more like left over fries than fresh. It was over crispy. Quality of the potato was great and the burger was great. The chairs are terrible and not comfortable to sit on. The outside seating is uncomfortable because the street has a high gradient. Staff can be trained better on customer service. The toilet seems to be temporary and needs serious work

Super great burger. The best in Nancy. The burgers are juicy, well garnished, fresh, tasty and most importantly big. The restaurant offer a wide range of meet burger and an option for chicken. (Also options to go vegetarian). They come with a homemade french fries side, salad and their special sauce. We came without reservation and you can sit outside or inside the restaurant. Staff friendly.

Great burger with REAL ad tasty meat cooked to the point, good french cheese on top (from umsterilised milk which you don't get often, it really adds to the taste), the fries are perfect. Also, the concept is kinda cool (the facebook-like-machine, the thursday rock-paper-scissors-free-coffee-game) and helped along with super nice and humorous staff.

Classy and cosy place. Good atmosphere not too calm nor too noisy. Tables are well organised and the food is great. The dessert were amazing. The main course was not my favorite but it was ok. The service was very efficient at the beginning and was slow at the end we waited for 40min between the dessert and coffee that we decided to skip for the the bill. I recommend this place if you have time to enjoy nice food. The salmon gravlax was delicious.

The food was really great but we were disappointed by the service. Our table was attended very seldom and we even had to go to the cashier ourselves to ask for the bill. This is not the type of service you expect at this price point

We have been a customer to Monsieur Fuji Sushi for 2 years. We discovered this sushi shop in 2021 and we always used the delivery service and it was outstanding ,not waiting too long, good communication and a polite deliveryman . They always keeps their standard by maintaining their food and service quality. This is the best sushi shop in Nancy for me. Good rice + fresh ingredient+ so tasty. I have never been disappointed as every orders that i have made always have the best quality. Also, our favorite set is Kaiten Murai, we always order this set home for 2 people. We will continue being their customers. Very recommended to try. C’est trop bon🥰

Really good sushi, made by Japanese people. You can also buy some Japanese beers. The place is a bit tiny but you can go with a group or just 2 people. The service was quick and good. A bit expensive, but good price for what you get.

We came in after the closed for lunch. I didn’t realize at first and then apologized but they served us anyway! It was so kind of them, the definitely did not have too. My daughter and I really enjoyed our sushi! Highly recommend visiting if you love sushi and are in Nancy.

They refrigerate sushi here (saw them take out sushi that's from basic menu and then they will prepare the 'fresh sushi' if its more pricier speciality sushi that they haven't prepped beforehand to be refrigerated. Either that or they make sushi for lunch and any leftover that's not sold goes in the fridge and stay there in open air for good 6 hours mixed with other open air dishes in the fridge. You would have better tasting sushi by buying at E.Leclerc than here. And it's 8 euro in E.leclerc so. After I complained, they said they will 'talk to the chef.' Chef should already know that's a bad sushi ethic because basic thing about good sushi is you never leave sushi in the fridge after being made. I would have given a pass if I got a sushi from like all you can eat for 15 dollars -wok restaurants or something where it's not only sushi but all you can eat buffet but nope, not here because you literally have Sushi in your business name. Si j'avais voulu des sushis réfrigérés, je serais allé à E.Leclerc et j'aurais acheté des sushis à 8 dollars où ils préparent les sushis à l'avance et les placent dans le comptoir réfrigéré...vraiment c'était plus savoureux là-bas qu'ici où j'ai pays 14.90 euro pour comme ça Si vous me sentez mal à l'aise avec la cuisine, je vais bien sûr laisser un commentaire pour que personne d'autre ne paie des sushis réfrigérés hors de prix.. voila, plus clair en laissant un commentaire ici

What a fantastic way to end a trip. This two person show works like clockwork and is like a friend it cooking for you. Hummus with warm mushrooms was lovely, and the salmon plate had a nice diversity of flavors and veggies. Menus changes routinely, but it seems that based on the other reviews, it doesn’t matter - it’s all good.

Nice place. Full of patrons when we ate there on a Sunday lunchtime. Great service and good prices. The food was not exceptional though, simple I don’t mind but it tasted rather bland.

This is a delightful little restaurant. It is owned by a young couple who are kind and passionate about fresh ingredients. My husband and I came for breakfast and were very pleased. The homemade apricot jam was delicious, the coffee tasty and the fresh squeezed orange juice flavorful. They have a limited menu, which means that everything is homemade. Our breakfast was less than 15 euros for two people, so it was a bargain! My only criticism is that the homemade granola was slightly over toasted. I recommend this place!

A very cozy place, popular but not over crowded. The stuff is super friendly. The food was amazing, simple and light, full of delight and flavor. The owner and the chef speaks perfect English and she moves in the kitchen so smoothly it is a pleasure to watch through the window. The fact that she is the only one that is cooking amazed me and this adds a home cooked food vibe to the restaurant which is even nicer.

Delicious breakfast!! Their scrambled eggs are amazing, the perfect amount of salt and pepper! I usually need ketchup with my eggs but not this one since it is perfect. Good coffee and pastries too. Baby stroller friendly

We recently visited this restaurant, and it was just okay. The atmosphere was nice, but the fondue didn’t impress—it lacked depth in flavor. The sausage platter was large but the meat quality was mediocre. The wine also didn’t pair well and was a bit flat. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t stand out. There are definitely better options for a fondue night.

A cozy family style restaurant with some great food and one of the most hospitable staff. We really enjoyed our dinner here and felt taken care of! We went with a group of 7 people and managed to be right on time before the place was full. So we recommend making a reservation if you want to be sure. Their cheese platers are so huge that even two people can't finish a plater. Taste-wise they are very delicious. Kids do not have enough space to move around here so i wouldn't recommend it for young kids.

Special place with quite interesting atmosphere and decorations. Meals are also special. Portions are big, the plates with different things as well as fondue are very attractive. Menu is very big, i personally don’t appreciate that. Service is fine too. One of the waitresses speaks English and was very very nice to everyone. Prices are fine. We only spent one night in Nancy and we were pleased with this restaurant which provided a good selection of typical Lorraine food. I can't really speak to the authenticity and I would say that overall the restaurant seemed geared more to visitors than locals. Definitely a great place for kids given the entertaining presentation of dishes and the cute decor.

This is a great restaurant and we will definitely return. We have order a Tartiflette which was absolutely great. However, when we ordered the super Entrecote which was the most expensive dish in the restaurant, it was no way super, rather very basic...the quality of meat was very poor. I had so much expectation but the quality of the meat, which was not at all soft rather sinewy and chewy, made the experience very disappointing. Again, we will come back to try the Tartiflette and Fondu, which we feel are great. So do visit and eat and drink in this wonderful restaurant.

We went there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty full, but the friendly waitress instantly tried to find a spot for us and found one. The food and the drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was really beautiful and we felt like we were in Italy itself. On top of that great experience was the extremely kind waitress named Yris who did everything for us to feel good. She even made our cocktail herself when she realized, that the bartender was busy - plus a really deep and cool conversation. We definitely come back to this place, even if it’s just for the nice woman. An absolute recommendation! If you are there, ask for her to serve you, you won’t regret it!

Great Italian restaurant close to the heart of the city. Very busy, both lunch and dinner, so be sure to make a reservation (easily done on their website). Food came fast during lunch. We had the Cappellacci Tartufo & Porcini and Risotto aux noix de Saint Jacques & Gambas. Both were delicious. Dogs allowed.

Let's start out with what was positive: - service was quick and waitress was friendly - entrée and dessert were very good Now let's explain why we won't be coming back: We're vegetarian and ordered some gnocchis and pasta zucchini and they were very bad. The "creamy sauce" was basically water with some spices. Looks like they ran out of cream, spices, salt, pepper, and cheese on the evening we went... If you're vegetarian don't make the same mistake we made.

It's really nice, with lots of tables outside, super pretty nostalgia style decoration, near the famous square, good food and friendly stuff, my dish was good but would be better with less mayonnaise, it covered the original floavor of the ingredients, that's a bit too much🤣🤣 I found the price is a bit high compared with other stores in Mancy, but it's I'm a good location so probably touristc Btw, i have to ask for free water to get the same treatment like local French ppl, because they first tried to provide me a bottle that I have to pay, so Non-French speaking ppl may want to pay attention to this

After reading great reviews, we had high expectations and were very disappointed with the food. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, it was just very very average. We didn't even bother to take a dessert because we were so unimpressed with the rest of our meals. Nice concept for the place though and service was friendly and efficient.

My family and I were in Nancy on 26 Dec 2018. We found this restaurant near our hotel and Place Stanislas using Google map, and decided to have our dinner there. We asked our hotel to help us reserve a table as the staff who took reservations was not very fluent in English. We were expecting a rather snooty service on arrival. To our pleasant surprise, the staff at the restaurant were really friendly. There was one particularly bubbly server who was fluent in English at the restaurant, and she helped us with our order. From past reviews, there were several complaints of very slow service, but we did not experience it when we were there, much to our relief! I can't remember exactly what we ordered, but we enjoyed almost every single dish, except the frog legs starter, which we thought was rather bland and tasteless. The beef in the mains was really succulent and delicious, and my sons particularly enjoyed the 'Toblerone' tiramisu desert. We found the prices quite reasonable for the amount of food we ordered.

Very kind waitress. Very slow kitchen-took us well over half an hour to just get the starters. NO FROG LEGS HERE NOWADAYS- which is the biggest disappointment. Foie gra taste was overwhelmed with fried up sesame seeds, which were used for the topping. On the side note - we were not asked for our vaccination certificates :// and some tables were very much under 1.5 m apart.

Very tasty food (we had menu for 26 Euro and it was truly amazing!), however I cannot give 5 stars due to a bit slow service - we have been waiting good 30 minutes for each main dish and dessert. But still, highly recommended!

We had very nice time there. Among typical "tourist restaurants", almost by chance we chose L'Escale. I didn't expect much, but the dishes are so nicely displayed and of course the taste was fine. The madam(?) in the ground floor is friendly, and the waiter as well. Next days we went to some others, then we recognized that this one is exceptionally good.

Service is really slow despite the lack of customers. Dishes have two bits battling each other but are somehow okay. Bill at the end was really high for what we had. Came out still hungry and a bit angry.

Magnifique😍 our first trip to Nancy and with many choices. But we wanted escargot and risotto. The chef allowed to combine the two and we were blown away. A must visit.

What an amazing experience we had at this restaurant. It is located in a small street with many other restaurants. Service was excellent and we chatted quite a bit with our waiter who shared his experience on Annecy, where we were heading next. The food was excellent as well. Escargots are prepared with cream and cheese which was very testy. The lamb shoulder, slow cooked for several hours was also excellent. Food overall was well prepared, well presented and traditional of the region. Highly recommended

Very friendly service, with the staff communicating to us in English (rare in this town). Even if the vegetarian options were not many, I could find a very delicious dish while the rest of the family ate the high quality meat. The wine was a very good suggestion of the owner and the dessert exquisite. They have the kids menu which makes this place children friendly too!

The experience was nice, my husband enjoyed his tuna dish. However, there were technical issues with my plates. My salmon was very dry and cold and the myrtille dessert was tasty but the crust was very wet.

We came in on a Friday and asked for a table for 5. The manager was nice enough and gave us the round table in the corner. Food is nice. I went for goat cheese and tomato as a starter that I recommend and Frog legs as a main that I don’t recommend as they forgot to put garlic in it... waiters were quite lousy but they did it with such a smile and good mood that we felt it was ok.

This was a lucky pick as we strolled through this charming town. The staff was the best we experienced in the Riviera and Paris. Americans are welcome and the staff is accommodating. Also if you are homesick for a good burger this is the place.

It was an unexpected delight. The portions are smaller but tastefully presented and each mouthful delicious. The champagne and wine we had were excellent choices to have. My absolute favourite was the dessert buffet. The only thing that could be optimised, the iron chairs make a dreadful noise when moved on the cobblestone pavement outside. A cushion on the outside chair would also make the world of difference. The crockery lovely but also terrible scraping noise as it wasn’t glazed. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had lunch on a Sunday and everything was delicious! From the atmosphere, over the fast and nice service, to - last but least - the food. Main dish could have been a bit less fat, but the dessert buffet was great again.

First, the positive aspects of our visit: the food was good but not amazing. The negative aspects sadly overweighed our experience due to terrible service. Also I mentioned that I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and they did not listen at all. The water tasted of chlorine and the wine was warm. Have I mentioned the long waiting hours? Everyone coming after us received their food earlier. Quel domage!

The menu has some flaws but it is very worth the price you pay. It is not comparable to a top-Michelin restaurant and there was not a specific dish that amazed me, some like the entry with tomato water were even a bit boring. There are still some points to improve.

The wine list was extensive. Although the menu was in French, we appreciated the effort made in explaining the various dishes to us in English. Also another kind of good gesture from the restaurant, we were offered two little cakes with marshmallow for the coffee. ✅Nothing to complain about the taste of food and the service as they were excellent. One of the most amazing meals i have recently had, and i’ve been to the food heavens of Italy and Greece lately! We tried starters of gravad lax and fried chicken, followed by a main meal of fish, and a tartalette with meringue (sorry for spelling in French). There was no cooking involved in their preparation other than the excessive deep frying. I have had great Indian food all around the world, but this was not among those. I would rank our dinner by a wide margin at the bottom of that list. I strongly recommend against eating here.

Good sandwich for an average touristy area price. Friendly owner and staff who explained the sandwich making process to me in English. My only regret is that I should have gotten the special sandwiches instead of making my own since it looked a lot better. Card accepted if over 9€. Some outdoor seating available. We ordered 4 fromages, and chicken pizzas, and grilled chicken, frites. The only food that I can suggest you is chicken pizza. Unfortunately the rest wasn't good. I chose this restaurant according to the Google comments. But in my opinion, they aren't showing the reality. What an unfortunate response from the restaurant owner! What does this issue have to do with my race? My favorite cheeses are French chèvre and Roquefort fromage. Maybe the quality of the materials you use should be better.

Overall, my experience was underwhelming, especially given the cost. While the presentation of the dishes was impressive and the service was friendly, being charged for water that is customarily complimentary was a letdown. Additionally, my fish was served undercooked. Although it was taken back and properly cooked upon my complaint, the lack of communication during this process was noticeable. Regrettably, the meal did not sit well with me, leading to stomach discomfort later that night. Despite the positive reviews that led me to choose this restaurant, I was left both disappointed and unwell.

At the very first we were a little bit worried when arriving to the restaurant in noon since the lounge was completely empty with no other guests, but suddenly we felt relieved because the guests were just arranged in the terrace deep behind the lounge. Service was flawless, every waiter tried his best to satisfy the customers' requests in time. We got basic introduction of the wine list and dishes in simple English, free water, refillable basket of bread, two candies made of bergamot (one of the most famous local fruit) and lots of smiles. The environmental hygiene was also well-maintained since they cleaned the used tables with disinfectant sprays. This restaurant is one essential piece of our trip in Nancy, we will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Laeticia was extremely warm and welcoming and recommended some excellent wines by the glass. The food was perfection and one of the best hand cut steak tartares I’ve ever had dressed simply with good olive oil and Thai herbs. Don’t hesitate to book this gorgeous wine bar!
