The food was good, and the service was pretty good, though a bit slow. The food tastes great, and the atmosphere is nice too. It's a great place to hang out with family and eat.

Ordered chicken fingers basket with onion rings for carryout. 15 dollars and they literally gave me 4 onion rings and i don't know what this is in the photo but it came out of the first onion ring i bit into. This place used to be great but since the new owners took over it has gotten really bad really fast.

Wonderful experience. We were greeted right away seated promptly and had an awesome server. The restaurant was busy and everyone was still being tended to immediately. The food we had was amazing and very reasonably priced. The whole restaurant seemed to work like a well oiled machine and all the customers seemed very happy. I can’t wait to come back here again and try something different. We had vegetable stir fry and chicken shish kabobs. Yum!!!! Thank you everyone for a great dinner.

I went here this Friday when my family was visiting my extended family for the 4th of July and I have to say this is a great place. I recommend anyone either visiting or locals to check this place out. It's and old style place. Food is inexpensive. Large portions. The waiter was great. From the time we sat down Cameron was attentive and very polite but not overbearing. At the end of our meal he wished us a great holiday and God Bless! We will be back here next year because of this great experience.

A whole lot of awesome! Our server was patient and double checked our order. The portions were very generous. Breakfast all day is always a happy event for me. Our party of 6 had so much to take home. the fresh dinner rolls were amazing. dinners include a dessert. they had extra desserts for sale at the checkout. If we are traveling this way again. we definitely stop again

Honestly every time I go I don't have any issues. The staff is amazing. The food is great. It is a bit warm sometimes in the summer, but that's alright. I go for the food not the ac. I've tried plenty of items on the menu and all have been great. I would highly recommend.

Managers attitude is horrible. I asked for my tenders to be tossed when I ordered take out. They were not. When I called and asked about my order she told me she knew they were not tossed. Didn't want to make me a new order. Said I had the sauce in the bag. I can toss them myself. Love the food. Hate the attitude and now I have to check my food every time I order before I leave because something is right or missing.

First time, dinner style food and shakes, sweat tea was very good, not overly sweet. Portions of sides were big, burgers were pressed flat and tasted fresh. Enjoyed the melt and onion rings.

Went with the kiddos. First time to this location. Very cool set up. Jada (?) was very very attentive and took care of us. Looks like she was running the show by her self for front end. Food was good and very hot. I only take away one star because my root beer float was a little light. When I visit the one on Ridge Road in Munster they provide the float with additional pop and ice cream. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with that location having the cold ice ream bar in the other side, but I did feel slightly short changed and wanting more.. But location just cool and appreciated the excellent service.

Best burger more like trash burger and trash service when brought to the cooks Attention he thought it be OK after the conversation to talk crap about us about the food he thinks is OK to eat talking about how he had to walk away before he flipped out so rude and bad food won't eat their again.

These are hot, thin and crispy "smash" style patties. Menu options are exactly what you expect at a burger joint and you won't be disappointed. Staff are nice, they keep the place clean and service is quick. When I want a good cheeseburger, I come here.

Friendly and attentive service. Food is delicious and the decor inside was very cute. They have green river on tap and their sweet tea is really exquisite.

Spectacular burger spot. Just a little ways off the highway for easy access. This burger joint is serving up all kinds of friendly vibes and has a great welcoming feel full of character. The inside is decorated to the hilt don’t be fooled by a plain outside, this place is crammed with rt 66 old school Americana. But the main event is the spectacular burgers and fries, perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. There are a variety of burgers to choose from, as well as some other fast food type options, soups, salads, and sides. Cannot recommend this spot enough, take a break from the traffic and get some food at Schoops!

It was my first time trying a smash hamburger and honestly it was one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever tried. The meat was juicy, cooked to perfection and it had that amazing fresh & delicious taste to it. All the other ingredients in it made it taste even better. The place was clean and in good order. Today is my husband's birthday. We came here because he received a gift card. The food had no flavor. My husband ordered a burrito and it was not a burrito. It was 2 tortillas with watery pork filling rolled like 2 separate tacos and flipped upside down and the ends were not tucked in like a burrito. We were expecting one burrito but instead it was just 2 big tacos rolled over. It was supposed to have lettuce and tomatoes inside and it did not. They also charged $3 for 3 tiny containers of sour cream. When I say tiny I mean they were like teaspoon size. They never mentioned we would be charged for sour cream!! The waitress was lovely and did a great job but the food was awful! Also the tamales tasted old, like they've been sitting out and the ends were crusty. Gross 😝

Food is quite flavorful and tasty. However, the portions are average but where they really drop the ball is their drinks. Margaritas come in a very small glass and I’m not sure if there was tequila in the drink. I had two and didn’t taste or feel a thing. Not worth the $9! For their location at least allow me to get a buzz!

I used to live near here 30 years ago, and there is a very good reason this place is still open after 50 years, authentic Mexican food! The queso fundidio con chorizo is awesome!

El Taco Real is an iconic, destination restaurant that has been serving unique, home style Mexican cuisine based on the Garcia family’s personal recipes for over 50 years. I have been dining there for decades, and remarkably the food and flavors are the same as when the restaurant first opened, thanks to second-generation owner Raymundo Garcia’s dedication to quality, consistency and flavor. The restaurant has a huge and dedicated local following, but out-of-town fans traveling through Chicagoland know that the restaurant is a convenient stop just minutes from both the Calumet Avenue exit on I 94 and the Hammond exit on the I 90 toll road.

I ordered menudo, now I know its made many ways but I swear this was the worst one I've had. It had absolutely no seasoning or flavor at all, there was barely any hominy in it and I ended up having to add the largest amount of salt and whatever the seasoning shakers they set down which was Italian seasoning and some type of chili flake/ all purpose seasoning mix which made it taste so weird. We ordered "nachos deluxe" and all it was was about 10 soggy tortilla chips with melted cheese and the canned pickled jalapeños and carrots placed on top those were about $10 alone. A plate of rice and beans were $6 but thankfully my husband enjoyed his meal. I personally won't ever eat here again but doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out they may have more flavorful options and I just came on a bad day. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I have nothing against El Taco Real, but it seems to be the favorite Mexican restaurant of quite a few non-Mexican people I know. I know someone who lives in Lowell and drives all the way to Hammond for this restaurant, when Mi Ranchito in Lowell has better food. El Taco Real, for their taco toppings on the menu, list lettuce, tomato, and cheese. This is strictly American. I asked the waitress if I could have just cilantro and onion, and she agreed with me that’s the only way to eat them. If you aren’t Mexican (and I’m not) and you casually go to Mexican restaurants, this is a great place to go. If you’re like me and like to go to places where most of the clientele are Mexican, there are other choices in Lake County that have excellent authentic food for way less money. They do have Negra Modella, so that’s a huge plus!

Heard great things about the pizza so we stopped in. Their prices are good, especially on drinks. Pizza was good but not great. It’s a solid thin crust option.

We were traveling through, decided to order delivery from here because of the over 3k likes. We ordered a pizza with sausage and pep, breaded wings with some mozzarella sticks. They told us an hour, but it arrived early. Pizza is a cracker crust.Two of us thought it had a good flavor sausage, good flavor sauce, and pepperoni was good. One of us thought the pizza crust was a typical crust that you can get anywhere, it's garbage. I loved the ranch dressing with the wings. We all agreed the wings were good, one of us said that he would definitely get more wings if he came back. Two of us enjoyed the wings but would try some other restaurants, before coming back. I thought the mozzarella sticks were cold, another person thought the sticks were nuked an hour ago and the third person thought they were made this morning or left over from last night.

My husband and I had a great date night here. The food was delicious, and the drink was made perfect! The ladies' restroom is in need of an update.

The first time here, I almost didn't make it in because the parking lot was full, and I managed to grab a spot because someone left. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Pizza and appetizers were very good. Drinks were solid, and i really like how they have a lot of space inside and a full bar. Would recommend and would come back.

Chicagoland resident here.. House of Pizza made pretty decent pizza, considering it was from Indiana. It was about $35 for a 2-topping, 'giant' size pizza. I skipped getting their beverages; prices looked pretty steep.

First time having pizza here since I moved out here 3 years ago and it did not disappoint!!! I've had pasta from here before too which was also AMAZING! I would suggest they hire some more staff to answer call-in orders, spent over 10 minutes on hold every time I've tried to call an order in, which also happened today so just went in to place an order, but they got my order done so fast!

Where do I begin this place is an unknown gem well at least to me. After my first visit, I went back the next day. On my first day, I started with the 10-piece Buffalo wings nice big wings and good sauce, and the appetizer trio. Fried mozzarella sticks and I chose double mushrooms this was great! Then I had a jumbo thin-crust pizza with sausage pepperoni and bacon. It was deliciously fresh and hot. I also had a blue moon! On my second day I opted for the Cajun chicken pasta with some great garlic bread. (I got some bread to go lol) the pasta was nice and saucy and delicious. I also had the chicken enchilada soup. My mom had the catfish which was seasoned well with a garden salad. We also had the combination trio with all 3 items they were all great. Service was also great staff is really nice and very attentive. The only thing I have to complain about is the restaurant itself. I would love to see the inside of this place more modern and maybe some cushion on the hard surfaces like in the booths. I believe if they create a better atmosphere they could make a lot more money.

First off I’m just gonna say I know this building is very old and has been around for a very very very long time so major renovations are absolutely needed from the time you walk in and you can see that. The guy who greeted us was extremely kind. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant which made me a little nervous being. I read the reviews about how good the food was. I was thinking there would be more people there.. We ordered our drinks. I ordered iced tea and I never ended up getting it just water. Then he asked where we ready to order I said yes I said I would like the chicken. He said they didn’t have it because the girl was on vacation. Then I said OK can I have the open roast beef and he said they don’t have it I said well then can I have the shrimp or do you have to go out and catch them?Lol So I ordered a shrimp dinner that had six little shrimp and a Baked potato, they need some training on presentation. My husband and friend ordered the perch and shrimp and fries and there was a lot of food on that. They were very happy with that. My other friend ordered the Polish platter which she said was very good and there was a lot of food on that also. The bar needs an extensive cleaning and decorating. We were the only people in there the whole time we were there.. I would say the food was basically average for what you pay. I’m not sure we’ll be going back. Like I said, the people in there are extremely friendly.

The people are very friendly and inviting. I'm from out of town and they made me feel like a regular. We split the stuffed cabbage meal and it was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit!

Great place! Reasonable prices! A quiet esperance in the restaurant section. Offering the best breaded pork chops around. The only beers on tap are Bud Light and Okocim (it's a Polish beer).

FILTHY FILTHY FILTHY. I have seriously never been to a dirtier, run down place allowed to serve food. Polish food?!? Maybe years ago but not anymore. The pierogi were more like an empanada. The sauerkraut seemed to be mushy I wasn’t sure it was possibly potato mixed?? It was nothing like I have ever had. I have had many a pierogi in my lifetime and this is not a pierogi. I’d sooner have a store bought frozen one. But honestly my real complaint is the filth. If you don’t take pride in the cleanliness of your place just hang it up. I don’t care how much history is in the place it’s seen its day.

The Cavalier Inn is a quaint mom and pop bar restaurant with nostalgic flair. Delicious, flavorful Polish food- authentic and homemade. Very friendly family owns the place and makes you feel right at home. Have the Polish Platter and take leftovers home!! Definitely recommend this place for great authentic Polish cuisine and a friendly atmosphere.

I love Greek Chicken and was in the mood to have some for dinner. I called and placed my order, the employee said it would be ready in 5 and it was. The skin was nice and crispy, string beans tender and the potatoes and rice were an extra added bonus to get me full and fed. I also enjoyed the seasoned buttered bread. And to top it off I had the best mango lemonade. It was very refreshing!! The restaurant was clean and the server was very pleasant. I appreciated being able to get in and out. Ordered here before... usually purchase the burger, but today I had a taste for fish. Therefore, I ordered the Salmon dinner. It was definitely delicious and filled with flavor with the grilled vegetables! Wife had the Spanakopita dinner. This was one of the best we had ever tasted! Service was good for take out! Doesn't seem like a place where many eat on the inside but, still take out is great!

Gina at the counter is such a sweetheart. She offered menus upon entering the restaurant. It was a very quiet atmosphere. Service is good. Food is hot and fresh. I would return to eat here. Their were dead bugs and dust in the window. The floors could use some tlc by sweeping up food and crumbs. The doors and walls by the bathroom could use a wash or fresh paint. The mirror need cleaning in the bathroom.

I've always enjoyed the food here. Our server was extremely nice as well as kudos to the manager. He not only spend time at our table, he got me to add the coconut pie along with my pecan pie. It was well worth it.

So, this was my first time here. The lady at the register is such a sweetheart 💕. I was greeted upon arrival and my food didn't take a long time being prepared. Ordered for carryout: 2 orders of four-cheese ravioli & a large thin sausage pizza. Total was $46.76. Ordering online was easy to do and quick and picking up was also quick and efficient. There is a specific carry-out door to use for this. That was easy to find and use. The food was decent - although we ordered marinara and alfredo sauces with our ravioli and only received the alfredo. It was still decent. The pizza is good, not excellent, but good. The sausage was made of chunks and had a good taste. The cheese is very good and this pizza has a crunch and I would go again. For the ravioli - the menu says: "Four-Cheese Toasted Ravioli Eight crispy breaded ravioli’s, stuffed with our four-cheese blend. Served with your choice of dipping sauce." We ordered two orders of the four-cheese, and normally that would be 16 total...but for some reason we only received 12 total. I assumed two orders would be 8 x 2 = 16? For that reason and the missing marinara sauce I deducted a star. It's not like they were crazy busy on Monday night.

$16 for a fettuccine Alfredo with no chicken. It had no flavor what so ever. I would not recommend .

This location I believe, has the most hospitable service. The servers are attentive and appropriately dressed. The dining room has a totally different vibe from all the others. None of the tables are dressed with the red and white checkered plaid that you'll find in every other Aurelio's. The color pallet is bright and grey with dark brown tables and longer booths. I didn't notice any stain glass decor like you'll find in other locations. We visited on a Friday from 4pm-4:45pm and were The only customers in the dining room at that time. The pizza matched the quality found in Cedar Lake, unfortunately. The appetizer menu is missing boneless wings as an option. However, the price here was the lowest so far. We did not order the combo platter during this visit but, they offer a deal called Happy Hour where they offer $10 off your order between 3pm-6pm. I don't know what days of the week they offer this deal but, it applied on the Friday we visited. Our total for the pizza and 2 soft drinks came to a mere $32 after the $10 discount. The staff and management was very receptive to our feedback and I suspect if we had ordered the combo platter without a discount, the total would have been slightly high at about $59.

Went to dinner with family. Everything was amazing ! Carmen was an amazing server, and Angelea was an amazing busser both very attentive and friendly. Pizza was perfect, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders were fantastic. We will definitely be back

This place should be jam packed every night. Aurelios is my favorite pizza but can vary some per location. This one is top notch. Plenty of sauce which others sometimes gets wrong. Plenty of toppings. Service was outstanding. We were in a hurry and pre-ordered. Everything was ready when we got there. Server was very fun

I ordered a large thin crust 18” Fiesta (which is like a delux) and it wasn’t bad. But I also ordered a large 16” stuffed pizza with pepperoni and it was flatter than a pancake. The red sauce was kind of funky, too. Together they cost $97 so it wasn’t a cheap meal either. The carry out space is very no-frills but the people were very pleasant.

Food was amazing as usual and the server / manager Mary was so attentive and amazing. She made it a point to make sure we were ok and kept our beverages full. Anytime we needed anything she was on it. Would definitely go back again and request her by name.

Went there for the first time and I’m sorry but there was a couple of things that made my experience not pleasurable. Our waitress was very busy to the point that she was not attentive to us like other servers where to other guests around us. Unfortunately my steak was half raw half medium, I have to say that the part that was medium cooked was very delicious. We also tried the brick chicken and it was a lot of great potential but it was very salty. Like that char on it was very good but the saltiness ruined it. Drinks were delicious no complaints on them! Once we finished our food the waitress took long to come and once she showed we were told that the one dessert was sold out during lunch that someone bought All off it so unfairly we could not have the full experience of the new restaurant menu. We were celebrating a lot our wedding anniversary, going there in memory of my brother that loved the place, and my birthday and I was sad that we could not get a good dessert. I have to say that we heard the owner talking to a few people and had good conversations with them and even learned about the history which was nice. Like I said unfortunately I did not have a good experience but try it, it may be different for you and good luck to the restaurant revamp.

We had heard good and bad about Freddie's. Good from friends. So we decided to give it a try. Kara had a coffee crusted pork chop with cherry glaze. It was delicious. I had a rib eye that was really tasty and good perfectly. We were full but orders a cheesecake to go and it is almost a pound by itself. We will go back.

If you wanna go to a steak restaurant that has a more cozy intimate setting this is the place! Every time we come here, the food is great! The service is amazing! And the drinks are made to perfection! I have no complaints about this location. You truly get what you pay for and I’m OK with that!

Food was horrible and under cooked!!! Everything we ordered was either raw or undercooked they need more than Ramsey to fix this place! I honestly would waste your time coming to this place!!! The steak I order was Med well and I ended up getting raw!! When your in the dining room all you here is the kitchen complaining about the food coming back to the kitchen but it wouldn’t be coming back if they cooked it correctly in the first place if the food is not ready don’t send it out how hard is that it’s way easier to do it right the first time so you don’t have to do it over and over again!!!

Well we went to try out the new menu! Ups and downs I'd have to say. French onion soup was good but $12, oyster Rockefeller was just ok, crab cake was the best appetizer not a lot of filler, swordfish I didn't like at all, ribeye was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! Kat is an amazing server/bartender!!! They got rid of a lot of their items they were know for like the burgers, chopped steak, chicken piccata, all the fish options and pastas. The old fashion drinks are really good! Oh yeah and the cheesecake was delicious

My wife and I were heading one of our spots for a good burger and Crafted Beer. And come to find out the place was closed for a special event so we come across your restaurant crossed our path and gave it a shot and was very surprised and made us both smile walking in and getting a great greeting and were seated in a perfect spot and William was so great from the open greeting and all the way thru dinner til the end. We had so much fun. Thankyou William you are the Bomb.

Absolutely impressed on my first visit! Jennifer, our server, was kind and attentive. My medium New York strip was cooked perfectly, and the crab cake (with what tasted like homemade tartar sauce) was delicious 😋. Plus, the prices beat Theos. I will definitely come back and try their lunch menu.

The service feels homely, lovely time here. The atmosphere gives it an almost as if at a dinner table with loved ones with a host providing some excellent food. Been coming here for a short while now and can give a solid score of 8/10, its perfectly good, trust worthy of the quality of food, and some pretty good heat level wings. Will keep coming here further on and definitely looking forward to another jack n coke.

Can’t rate the food for this visit being that we waited over 35 minutes to get a salad and sandwich by the time it got to us the sandwich was cold and the salad was warm. This place has gone down hill in the last few years this was the third strike. We’ve had a dead bee and ants at the table, we’ve been ignored when coming in. Used to be able to get a great meal for a great price. What happened?

Last time I had dinner there?. Was around 1996. The food was good, but small portions. The service was a little slow too!. Maybe things are much better now!.

We’ve tried this place twice while we’ve been in town. The atmosphere is very inviting and the service is friendly enough. The food however is barely ok. I hope they switch some things around because it could be a gold mine. We had breakfast the first time (not good)and lunch the second. They replaced the blt (limp bacon, unripe tomatoes) with a chicken sandwich which was good. The German chocolate cupcake was good too.

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and the prices are affordable and you get a good meal and a good amount of food! Why spend 20.00 at McDonald's when you can get a more filling meal at Johnel's and for half the price?! I love this restaurant. And the atmosphere is so comforting, like Grandma's home. Lol

It was my first time going into this place because the food looked good from the photos. But the service wasn’t it. They sat us down and gave us paper menus that was all over the place.. we never had anyone come us to us asking us if we needed anything or even take our orders for drinks.. a family of three came in right after us and their order was taken and we were still ignored. Whoever Cristina is, is a horrible waitress. Because when we were taken to our seats they said she will be our waiter and never seen her or greeted by her. We waited for 15 mins or more before we decided to get up and leave. The two ladies at the front desk didn’t even care like they are used to people walking out.

My first time there and never coming back. Got seated but never got greeted by a waitress. Not like the place was packed. There was a few families but plenty of empty tables everywhere i turned. Was in here for 15 mins and nobody ever came to take my order. A family of 3 came and got seated next to us and within 3 mins they had their orders taken and drinks on their table. Im only giving them a 1 star cause thats the lowest rating allowed.

Got the Tuesday special Lg w/3 toppings and 2 cans of soda for 18$ I’m not a fan of a soggy green peppers or rubbery shrooms. Ask for our pizza to be “well done” sadly it was not.. AS FOR Italian beef was on point! Absolutely delicious!

I'll start by saying the service was excellent. The pizza I took home was acceptable as-is, but it just wasn't my favorite. There was nothing wrong with it, just not my style. They are close by my house so I'll give them another try and get something else on the menu, but overall not bad at all.

Love this pizza. Usually. Today we ordered $20 special, a medium pizza and small cheese bread. It was right after they opened. The bread was hard as a rock so much we threw away the entire cheese bread pizza. Everything was dry and overcooked. Do better!

I have not had their pizza for years. It was just like years ago, delicious.

Very well balanced flavor. To me a good sauce and crust are key and theirs is superb. We now live almost 30 minutes away and still make regular trips. Best pizza in Chicagoland!

I hadn't been to Madveks for several years. They were always so good, but things have really changed. The meat didn't taste anything like it use to. Very plain, but also had an odd taste. I ordered a cup of cheese for the fries, it was ice cold. They must keep those in the refrigerator and didn't bother to warm it. We all took a couple bites and threw the rest away. Sad to see a neighborhood staple decline so much. On the bright side. The place is still extra clean.

We ended up stopping here coming back from the beach. The food was good but that’s about it. While ordering I was asked if I wanted just chili and cheese I said “just chili cheese and onion” the man taking my order proceed with you said jsut chili and cheese now onions?” Confused I said yes all three. Because that is what I had stated I wanted chili cheese and onions. We finished our order and was waiting for our food. The man who took our order ended up dropping one of our drinks and when our drinks came out he said next one that falls is on you. Weird joke for a first time customer but ok. We finally see our order ready and was asked if we wanted ketchup or salt. I said both please. The man said I said or not and. I said I’d like both please. He then started to yell at us about how he said or and not and. My boyfriend was visibly mad at this point for how he was treating us being that we do not know this man and have never been here. Went there for dinner and pie. Worst decision ever. The chicken dinner with rice was cold, dry, and disgusting. It made me sick and I only had 2 bites. The pie was supposed to be a chocolate cream pie but ended up being a moldy chocolate pie. It had green mold on it. Disgusting. They replaced it with a warm chocolate cream pie that made me sick. I will NEVER eat there again. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

These people never get your order right I ordered two simple orders and they decided to take upon themselves and give me two totally different orders and charge you for it then when you call and tell them that your order is messed up all they can do is say sorry and we owe you. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from them anymore this is suppose to be a plain gyro just sauce. And the soup taste old noodles soggy and the restaurant was empty when I got my food. You would think they would put a better effort into making your food

A direct representation of the decline in Hammond. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't good. From the host, putting napkins underneath the table to make it stable, extremely pushy waitress, No attention paid to coffee or iced tea, Chicken wings that came directly from a pigeon, The waffle was good but there was only four pallets of butter for the entire table. I would eat there again if I was meeting a group of people again but just on my own I will never go back there....

Petros Restaurant was a bit of a surprise to me. I had passed by this place many times before deciding to try it out. I am very glad I did! Offering delicious dishes for reasonable prices. I tried one of the specials they offered. "Las Vegas Special" absolutely delicious! This special came with a small salad, a grilled chicken breast covered with Spinach, Feta cheese and baked potato. Absolutely delicious and very filling! For $1.70 more you can get the dinner which includes a bowl of soup and a dessert! Tons of food! The service was good our waitress was friendly, attentive and very helpful. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Because of social distancing rules some tables and booths were blocked off. This did not take away from the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of Petros Restaurant. Try this place for some good food.

Today I came in and got the same chicken pita that I always gotten. Unfortunately the meal was prepared differently. I got way less food for the same price I’d usually pay, granted it is still tasty I may or may not be back.

I haven’t had anything from here in years and really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak. I go in and order the combo meal which set me back $16.00. I should have known something was wrong because I didn’t smell the garlic bread when I got in the car. What I got was a Zels roast beef instead of the thick steak that I would get long ago. The meat wasn’t seasoned and the bread wasn’t placed on the grill to toast the garlic . The meat was low quality and tasted like nothing. Never again will I pay this much for a tasteless sandwich. This place has lost its luster and the food was horrible. You would think that a Philly would have thick pieces of steak like the sandwich is supposed to be made. Look at the beef sandwich meat on the picture posted on their website that I put in the post to compare. My sandwich has shredded meat like Zels yet the beef sandwiched has the thick slices of meat that belongs on the Philly cheesesteak. The Philly is the only thing I’ve ever bought from this place so I know that the sandwich they gave me was the wrong one or they changed how they made it. Regardless I’ll never go back.

Usually a pleasant experience, but they had a new cashier and as we were waiting to order she was placing a slice of cake in a to go box, pushed it off the spatula with her non-gloved hands, stuck those fingers in her mouth afterwards to get the frosting off, then proceeded to serve another slice after without washing her hands. Upon taking our order, she used the same unwashed hand and wiped the snot off her nose. Not really something you want to see before eating.

I ordered ahead to so that my order would be ready by the time I got there to pick up In the drive thru. 20mins later I arrived to find out the did not have my ticket. So I waited, granted not too long maybe 5mins or so , which leads my to believe my food wasn't cooked fresh, but anyways. My wife ordered this while I was out of town and sent me pictures.....so first night back I told her I need that in my liiiiiiife. Go the party size Venice special. It is absolutely incredible. The crust the sauce the cheese the toppings is everything I needed and also cooked to perfection. Way better than any other local pizza places by far when it comes to quality and value especially for the party size. I pray they stick around and their business flourishes.

Was in the area and searched for a pizza joint. Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom plus bread sticks and a brownie from the very nice lady attending. The prices are very good. The order was ready in 20 minutes, everything was delicious! I'll be stopping anytime I'm around and suggest you do too. Support local businesses!

I travel around the country for a living and there is no pizza like Venice Pizza in Hammond, IN. I have eaten pizza at THOUSANDS of pizza joints and Venice pizza is THE BEST IN THE WHOLE UNITED STATES! I am a plus size man so you know I mean that with my heart and soul. I always get my pizza well done and light sauce and it comes out absolutely perfect every time! I always recommend this spot to Dave Portnoy on his channels. I hope he comes to review it too

I’m pretty disappointed I don’t even live far from this place. It’s my first time here and last time. Ordered orange chicken and I got super soggy chicken with alot of sauce! The flavor is passable if you’re really hungry like I was. But is it good is a great no no it’s not I’ve had way better orange chicken than this. The second item I ordered was a shrimp lo mein I am also disappointed because I asked for a small and they literally gave me basically a cup of lo mein and it’s the first.usually it’s a bigger size then that little tiny cup. The second thing wrong with my noodles was my shrimp wasn’t fully cooked, and the lo mein has a lot of juice which usually looming has a little bit of juice and it’s mainly dry if you have a shrimp lo mein or a vegetable lo mein they don’t add a lot of liquid. The third thing about it was I paid $14 with something cents and I am not happy with my food at all. I’m pretty disappointed also in the food sizes. And I don’t even want to start on the place it looks dirty in the front and I saw a couple insects crawling on the wall it looks similar to a cricket just a little bit smaller and the color brown I don’t know what type of insect it was. I would rate this a -2 but I’m just gonna keep it at two stars because the guys customer service was nice and I ended up leaving a five dollar tip and that’s what I really appreciate because customer service is very important usually some Chinese restaurants they’re very rude and I was surprised that he was very nice and I appreciate that that’s why I rate the place to stars. My husband and I had a taste for some Chinese food. I was told by a co-worker that Wings Chinese restaurant had some delicious food. We arrived there on Thursday in the mid-afternoon , parking was available on the side of the building and there wasn't a crowd. We were greeted and told to wait just a couple of minutes. We took that time to look over the menu. I am vegan so I ordered vegetable fried rice with no eggs , vegetable spring rolls, and an order of stream vegetable which white rice came with it, my husband ordered the lunch special orange chicken which came with fried rice with only eggs because he didn't want pork in his rice and a spring roll. We were both very satisfied with our food the taste and amount of food was very reasonable and we will be going back. My husband's next order will be the Chinese chicken wings because my co- worker said they are really good! I will get the steam vegetables again but without tomatoes and vegetable fried rice.

So, it's average Chinese food, the general Tso chicken didn't taste the way I would've liked, but maybe some other people would like it. The portions are huge, so if you are looking for large quantities at a cheap price this is the place. The lo mein had too much soy sauce and wasn't very pleasing. The shrimp was tasty I will say, it wasn't fishy or small. This was my first visit and I'll probably be trying out a few other places in the area before I would come back here.

I haven't eaten here since finding little fish bones in my Shrimp Fried rice!!! This was probably about 3 years and I know I gave a review about it BUT I don't see it! I believe it was the fish from their lobby.

I had been craving my late grandmother’s cooking for several days. While taking a detour through Hammond I spotted MJ’s on Calumet Avenue and decided to drop in. I’m so glad I did! The nice folks at MJ’s happened to have a batch of hot, fresh pierogi ready to eat. They were kind enough to package them up and I drove home eating possibly the best savory pierogi I’ve ever tasted (I don’t think my grandma would mind my saying so if she could taste these!) Between bites, I kept saying, “I can’t believe how good these are!” It was a great, unexpected treat that really hit the spot for me. I will definitely make MJ’s a regular stop on my trips between Chicago and Fort Wayne.

Sometimes the smallest shacks be the best places to eat. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants around town. They are good and fast. You can't seat and eat but it doesn't stop me from going. My tacos are gone before I pull off. Fresh and ready!

The food was great. The steak and pork skin tacos were delicious. Not the best I've ever had but definitely up there. I think the thing that really separates this place is the salsas. So good and so much flavor. The salsa they include with the chips con salsa is absolutely insane. Packed with flavor and loaded with heat. This place is not playing around when they say spicy. It was so good and I intend to come back every time I come to Hammond.

Been going here for about 2 years. Sometimes twice a week. I use to tell everybody about the dollar tacos and had a lot of people going there. They don’t have the dollar tacos anymore they charge 2 dollars which is cool but they are the same size. You get two free toppings and have to pay for every other topping after that. Today however went there to get my usual 10 tacos and was going to try the tamales and also a cup of elote. I asked the cashier could they make sure I get the toppings in the middle as well and she flat out told me no. The corn is already always super wet instead of freshly cut off the Cobb. Once you get towards middle of the cup it’s always bland corn out the can I’m sure of it. The new cashiers is young and rude especially to black people. I won’t spend another dime in this place and will tell the 10 plus people that I told about this spot don’t support them because we all been experiencing the same issues when coming to spend money with them. It was cool while it lasted for the $1 tacos but now it’s over won’t see me any more

I have been going to this place for years because of their delicious tacos. So I decided to purchase some today, because I haven't eaten there in so long. A lot has changed Did not know the toppings on tacos were being charged. Purchase two churros, one with strawberry filling, no type of flavor no cinnamon and sugar just plain bread. I am very disappointed.

There were no towels in the bathroom to dry your hands off. When I let them know, she just shrugged her shoulders. It's just a very cold atmosphere, not friendly at all. They have Pepsi cups everywhere. When she asked me what I wanted to drink and I said Pepsi, she said. "All we have is Coke." She never asked if it was here or to go. And we were eating there. Hand me my drinks in a paper bag and our food in another bag. Like I said, it was just not very friendly at all. I can see why they're closing. And it's sad because I love Zel's. The one in Crown Point we love. We stopped at the one in Hammond because we were coming back from the doctors appointment in chicago. But we won't be returning, sad to say.😔

Doordash in a lot of locations, Tennessee where I'm from Delaware where i visit and now here in Indiana. Every now and then you get a pickup from a off beat restaurant. This was one of the unfriendlyest places I ever picked up from. I can't even base it on race because I'm African American, and they were African American, by their actions you would think I had a KKK costume on......😥😥😥😥😥😥

First time eating here... Really love this place. I got a number one. Big roast beef with fries and a drink. I got mine with Pickles, peppers and mozzarella cheese. Seriously a good sandwich. It's simple, but really hits the spot... the only word of caution I would give is the au jus sauce... this is basically the pan drippings from cooking the beef. That's not a bad thing as it was a great sauce to dip my sandwich in. Not your standard reduction though.

I highly recommend their sweet and sour sauce.. it’s amazing.. but I’m sad that they closed the buffet. I loved that place but now it’s too expensive and not worth it because they skimp on the meat and sometimes portions. Flavors are also inconsistent, and then they stuff hard, unseasoned broccoli at the bottom of ur bowl of meat to take up space. I ordered a chicken noodle dish recently and there were only 2 extremely tiny pieces of chicken.. and not the nice, flavorful velvety chicken I expected. And then too many onions.

I have been ordering from here for years, so when I came across a problem I didn’t hesitate to call it in. To my surprise the lady that answered the phone did not care that I was dissatisfied. My food was cold and I placed my order while sitting in front of their business. She said 10 minutes it will be ready. I came in in 11 minutes. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant so there is no way my food should have been as cold as it was. The lady told me to put it in the microwave. I will no longer do business with them. The people I have recommended to them will be informed of this problem.

I've been ordering from here for years but the last few times I've ordered my food wasn't up to par. Today I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was loaded with pork that looked old and the shrimp wasn't cooked thoroughly. I called and they replaced it and the shrimp was still under cooked. The beef chop suey had no flavor and was very light on veggies. I was very disappointed. They must have changed cooks. I will be looking for a new place to order from.

So we just had this food delivered. We were happily enjoying the appetizer and then my son pulls a long hair out of his mouth. He is a boy and was like oh well I don't want to wait for more food. Then I open my burrito and right on top stuck in the cheese another Long hair. At that point that's just gross. 2 hairs in 2 different plates something is off. Did they comb their hair in the kitchen? Were the hairs purposely put there? Maybe their whole kitchen is dirty and there are just hairs laying around everywhere? I don't know but we paid $75 with a tip for the seamless driver. Seamless did refund our money but now we have to get dinner another way and wait longer for dinner. Of course the boy is mad about it but it's just too gross at this point to allow my child to eat it. Picture of food in trash so everyone sees this is not bull.

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was horrible. It's so sad when you have a good thing and the employees or owners ruin it. They have a good location, great food, but beyond horrible service. I pointed to each item on the menu as I ordered, from the lunch special menu. Each item was supposed to cost around $9. Out comes our bill ...$63 for a carryout order of 3 meals and no drinks?? How?? The rude woman taking orders didn't ring up the order properly. I paid the bill, took the food, and will never return. They have awesome Adrian's style nachos, but $16 for 8 chips.....um never again... It's not that good. I'm assuming the girl at the register is the owner's daughter...She wouldn't make eye contact...ruder than rude. I was a server for years and I always tip everyone.... except this time. So sad. This place won't be around very long with these people...

I saw this restaurant when I was in the area and stopped by for a late lunch in the dining room. I ordered two enchiladas from the a la carte menu and enjoyed them. The service was fast and the place was perfect for a quick late lunch.

Traveling thru Indiana and we stopped at this lil gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh! Took a lil while but didn't mind because I know the microwave was not getting any love at this place lol! Chips and salsa were very good. Chilaquiles verdes were so good and the chips were crispy, egg was mixed in with the chips which I absolutely love (a lot of places have the egg separate and on top), perfect amount of sauce --was a tiny bit spicy but the sour cream helped :). The enchiladas verdes were delicious and that sauce, yum! The sauce was not spicy and it tasted like a creamy poblano sauce, just delicious!! The milanesa del pollo (breaded chicken) was so fresh (prepared made to order), crispy and very tasty!! The Mollete ranchero was absolutely the best I've tasted! I loved that the bread was crispy and not soggy which is usually the case when I have tried that dish at other restaurants. The sauces, rice and beans were very good too! Prices were not bad at all. Hands down this place served very delicious (budget friendly) fresh food and would definitely recommend, hope to pass by here soon!

Horrible Customer Service. Tried something new and was disappointed. The heavy set girl from start to finish was extremely rude. She should not be the point of contact anywhere. She refused to give taco sauce and ketchup with 2 taco dinners and fries. Spent over $25 here and didnt eat the food from possible tampering. Will NEVER RETURN. 5000 reviews say "re-open the buffet" so I'm here to be 5001 to say the same. Without the buffet, you're just another casino, and they keep opening more of them. Every day that remains closed, you're less and less worth visiting and more irrelevant. Very unfortunate, used to be my favorite spot.

Stopped coming to Horseshoe ever since they closed the buffet. The buffet was great and was a big part of the experience of going out to gamble. I can't believe it is still closed, but will not come back to Horseshoe until the buffet returns exactly like it was

Im at the horseshoe today and a heads up, THE VILLAGE BUFFET IS NOT OPEN...had my hopes high but just a heads up😵

This was my first time here (came because of T-Mobile) and really wasn’t happy with the food. My server, I believe his name was Tyree, was polite and attentive. Well the whole staff that I encountered was polite. The establishment was clean. However, the food just wasn’t all that great. I got the fish since it was Friday with Mac and cheese and fries. The fries tasted like it was cooked in old grease and the Mac just didn’t have any flavor. The fish was kind of on the small side but was okay. I did get the tenders to go and the tenders were well seasoned and juicy. I got rice and it was actually really tasty. I did come late (8pm) so maybe that’s why the quality of food wasn’t all that great. I will be back during the daytime to give them another shot.

I was so pleasantly surprised. This place is like stepping back in fine. The store is adorable. Food was delish. Prices were so reasonable and the staff was super nice. It was clean and very busy but everyone kept up and things were out very timely. I work close by so I’m really looking forward coming back again for lunch. The fried pork chops were a big hit! Try them!!

We had dinner at this retro-style restaurant with a cozy grocery store. We ordered three Campfire meals and one Cheeseburger kids' meal. The food was not too acidic, but the S’mores were too sweet.

Ordered the pot roast dinner to go and was not pleased with the food portion, it had only 5 little pieces of meat. I was wondering if i got the end of the pot. Also the food wasn't even warm. The mashed potatoes was dry and didn't have any gravy. Wasn't ask if I wanted any so you would figure that either way they would add some or ask you if you wanted some. Prior to ordering the pot roast, I asked for the chicken campfire and was told they were out, and no more. I said you guys are advertising on a big billboard and you don't have it, did you ran out? And was told yes. That's bad business to advertise a signature meal and not have any. Was very displeased with Crackle Barrel. It used to be 1 of my favorite places to eat at. Quality and quantity have decreased. Very bad.

My shrimp came out very undercooked. It seemed very obvious even in the low lighting the grey and translucent, uncurled shrimp. My waitress was very understanding and polite and put in my replacement order as soon as I let her know. Unfortunately, in doing so she charged me for the tenders on their own with 2 individual sides instead of replacing the entree. So what was originally a $14 shrimp entree and sent back for a $13 chicken tender entree we paid $17 when they made the mistake. I know it’s not my servers fault the food came out raw, it’s the cooks who should know better, but the issue also wasnt satisfactorily resolved as I paid more than even the original entree. I definitely don’t recommend getting seafood here to avoid this situation all together

We got the campfire chicken dinner with red potatoes, carrots corn on the cob. It arrived piping hot wrapped in foil fresh off the grill. Probably the best meal I have ever had from there and I’ve had many. Highly recommended looking forward to trying the campfire dinner with beef next.

Pancakes and bacon were great, and my waitress was super sweet. But the hashbrown casserole was cold and too dry, and the cheese on my eggs wasn’t melted. my server took care of it, though. Overall, there were some hits and misses.

I love coming here! The view is amazing. James did the dang on thing with my strawberry sidecar and my husband’s Hennessy and cranberry. Doris was our server and she was very attentive and personable. My favorite menu item is the mussels I get them every time!

It has been a while since I had a drink made right the first time with great service. James has definitely changed my opinion on sitting at bars. I cannot wait for the next girls night at this lovely restaurant.

Came here to eat before a show at the venue. My sister got a Cesar salad which was good. I had a New York strip with gorgonzola that was really bad. The steak was barely seared, chewy, not seasoned and there was this really long thing running through most of it that I couldn't cut. I asked that waitress what it was and she said "part of the steak". It was very off putting and unappetizing so I didn't eat anymore of it. Also the gorgonzola had some sweet note to it and wasn't good so I scraped that off. I also got the brussel sprouts and while the flavor was good, there wasn't one actually whole piece of a brussel sprout, it was all leaves separated. I don't know if it supposed to be like that but I expected actual halved or quartered sprouts. Atmosphere was beautiful but my food was bad enough I wouldn't go back. I was really disappointed especially for the price I paid for it.

The crabcakes were absolutely phenomenal. Probably the second best I’ve had in all my years. The wedge salad was perfect. I couldn’t add or take away from any of it then I had the tacos, which were really amazing as well. My daughter thought the calamari was on point and she knows her calamari. Our waitress was kind and attentive, and we also were conversing in speaking with another waitress. Our waitress was Doris ! Solid wine choices. Will be back!

I had a phenomenal time here at the restaurant for my first time. The food is absolutely amazing. The drinks are great! The staff is friendly and attentive. Service was beyond exceptional and catered to all our needs. they were personable and professional thank you to James and Kendale for making my experience, upscale and memorable.

Had dinner on Friday Night July 25, 2025. First time there and the the service was absolutely horrible. We had reservations and were seated relatively quickly. We placed our food order and waited and waited for over an hour for our food to come out. The waitress never checked on us in the mean time. We had tickets to see Jeff Dunham and were extremely worried we were going to be late even though we had allowed plenty of time for dinner. I highly doubt NOT recommend this restaurant. A restaurant of this caliber should have exceptional service. It was the worst service I've ever had at any restaurant.

NY strip was really bad... not seasoned at all & was super chewy. We added gorgonzola on top of the steak and that was "off" too.... looked like gravy and was sweet....gross. The server didnt check to see how everything was until we were almost finished with the meal. Side salad was good. Wine was $48 for 2 glasses (I buy the same wine for $13/bottle). Atmosphere was beautiful!! Won't be back....

Why is the best food at a hole in the wall shop? Some of the best street shrimp I've had. Place could use a major upgrade. Plus inconveniently cash only. In 2025 they are a cash only store. Shrimp is great though. Fresh, clean, properly seasoned, slightly sweet, almost buttery.

If your in the area, it's a must stop no question!! It's a pick up and go spot, no seating, that's OK, could be a little more inviting in the waiting area, but overall good spot. Will return for sure.

Bobs Shrimp is a staple in the area. There is no place that compares. No frills, no credit card fees (cash only). This is the BEST shrimp in Lake and Porter counties. Take the drive! You’ll be glad you did. 5 stars!!!

Grab your food and go. Not a dine in place but the shrimp is AWESOME!!! Ask for crackers if you want them. Cocktail sauce is really good too. CASH ONLY💸

I tried the Fried Shrimp and honestly, I wasn’t impressed. The breading was pretty bland even with the sauce. On top of that, the shrimp itself was overcooked. I’ve had shrimp from plenty of other places that are so much better. I was honestly disappointed, especially since I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and had heard good things. I wouldn’t go back or spend my money there again.

It seems clean. The servers are always in a hurry and do not like to answer questions. Although it is "cash only," they have an ATM. The food was good, but not as good as it used to be. I have been going to Bob's Shrimp for over 30 years. Be sure to check your order before you leave the building.

The shrimp was good. The fish chips needed more seasoning it tasted plain...it's not better than goose island shrimp, but I would go back if I'm in the neighborhood.

We have had take out from Langel’s before on some occasions. Nothing was ever special about it, but it was a local pizza place we supported nonetheless. My family and decided to dine in, and we sat down fast and that’s where our dining experience started and ended. I understand that it is a Saturday and it is approaching busy hours but not even to be attended to is what really frustrates me. We just sat down and were completely forgotten about. Again, I can understand that you can be short staffed and/or busy, but not even to be offered water is ridiculous. I saw a family sit down and get attended to after we arrived. That’s when I went to the hostess and explained we have been waiting for 30 min and no one had shown up. She was apologetic and grabbed the young man who sat us and told him the situation only to hear him say that he told our waitress three times that we were waiting. At that point we decided to just leave. As we were packing up a waitress did show but we decided to leave regardless. She didn’t seem to care and only came to ask if we were staying when she saw us packing up to leave. Things happen but overall attitude in that situation was not a great look. I would not return.

Our first time here Monday evening was a chill , they said sit anywhere. It was quite a while before someone came for us to order . We ordered a large cheese pizza and bone in BBQ wings. Wings came first and it was big, hot , fresh and tasty. I usually don't like big wings but they were cooked right . Their BBQ sauce is good but their ranch is the winner 🏆. The pizza was good too ,especially the cheese pull . The thin crust was nice and crispy 🔥! Will definitely order again 👍🏽

Worst pizza I’ve had. Just ordered for pick up and felt like I was chewing on a shoe. Dry and no sauce at all. $19 thrown yo the garbage. Never coming back. 👎🏼

I placed an order today and I had two orders of fries and the fries were raw. I called to speak to the manager Gloria and she said oh you were only charged for one fry. I can only give you credit for one fry. I said OK that’s fine. After we hung up. I looked at my receipt and seen I was in fact charged for two fries, so I called Gloria back. She said I’m gonna be honest, I lied and I didn’t even look at your receipt. I said oh so you were trying to scam me. How unprofessional is that and you’re the manager? She then proceed to tell me to shut up, have a nice day and hung up on me. Langel's Pizza Highland are these really the type of people that you hire to manage your business? I am a long time customer and it’s sad that she is who you hire to represent your business.

Heard great things. Wanted to try it out and was sorely disappointed. Delivery was 30 minutes late. First time in my life that I received two pizzas that weren't cut. Pizza was barely ok flavor wise, but I was also raised in Chicago so I'm a snob. Deep dish was not deep dish, it was thick crust. Sauce was flavorless. Base Crust on the thin crust was soggy, but the outside crust was burnt and harder than bricks. Not sure why this place is so highly touted, but at the same time there are very limited options in NWI so I get it. Won't try this spot again.

I only recently discovered Langel’s and have been back multiple times since! It has a fun, chill vibe and the interior design is just great! Langel’s is also probably one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to which is so appreciated! The service is consistently fantastic as are the food and drinks. If you haven’t checked Langel’s out yet you MUST!

I went to Langel’s with my family and will NEVER be coming back. The pizza was stiff and had a gross, spoiled smell to it. On top of that, the service was terrible. Our server rushed around but was still slow to refill drinks, barely made eye contact, and didn’t smile once. To make things worse, we could clearly hear the employees cursing and complaining about working there, which just added to the bad attitude across the whole place. Between the awful food, rude service, and unprofessional staff, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your time here.

Shaq a Roni as you can see in the picture hardly had a lot of pepperoni.then they pushed the 16" when I wanted the 12.99 one.ended up paying $25.12 pizza is not Worth the price it was good and service for the pick up was very good.that was it! Girls in their did have their hair up or under a hat? Fast food code violation.

My guy Chris is one of a kind I wish every papa John’s had a guy like him. I can see him as manager or ceo 1 day. Also the greatest personality ❤️🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Worst service I have ever experienced. This place needs some management. No one acknowledges you, people just standing around. I was told that I could place an order if I wanted to wait for an hour. Orders were already behind, and staff had no idea what's being made. Since they didn't want my money I left.

Gluten free crust was pretty good. No sauce. No seasonings. Barely any meat. Overall pretty awful pizza.

Horrible Customer service. No acknowledgement of the issue even after we confirmed order. There was a reason why they had 0 customers there. The easiest thing to provide good Customer Service is provide a smile and acknowledgement which they lacked. Need a manager who cares..

This place is horrible. This is what they tried to give me tonite……this was AFTER ordering well done and after I spoke with the manager Lexi about my last visit which was also a train wreck. I check my pizza and see it’s like this so I ask them to put it back into the oven since it was clearly messed up, they hand it back to me after I have to wait longer for the oven like these pics show, before I leave the lot I picked up a piece and it’s like the photos. I go back in and show her. She literally shrugged and said oh well nothing we can do about your pizza. Look at these pics and tell me this is something you would or could eat. Told her I’ve been eating at Papa Johns for over 30 years and I know exactly how it’s supposed to be and this isn’t it. Last visit they waited till I showed up and told me 2/3 of my order was unavailable. Wth. As you can see I gave them several chances last visit and this one to make things right. I said that to her if this is something you would eat she just looked at me and said I would eat it, well guess what now you can; give me a refund. I gave her several chances to offer to make a new pizza. She simply didn’t care. Two visits in a row were train wrecks. Don’t waste your time if you expect customer service or even a pizza you can eat. Or a manager that gives a damn.

How the heck you're still in business is beyond me. Who on earth doesn't have lettuce for a sandwhich shop? That was so disappointing and ridiculous to cost $14 for meat and bread. The turkey was like government issued mystery meat and what's with the plain, unseasoned green peppers. Gross.

Great subs! Very friendly staff. We had a large order and they were really helpful with packing our sandwiches so we could carry them easily.

"New" location (first time there-moved out of the area) same great sandwich that it was 30 years ago when I had my first Super Sub. It is the best.

Eh,. They raised the prices due to vendors raising their prices. However, the sandwiches are not the same caliber as the old owners. 13$ for a sub that has 5$ of meat. They used to take out the bread to pack more meat in. What a shame. Still same meat products, just less. Not worth the 13$. I'll make my own at home.

Nothing special about this sandwich. There was zero flavor in the Ruben, soggy bread and dont think I would go back. Disappointing since the reviews were so great not a whole lot of flavor in the sandwich.

I ordered a large stuffed pizza with Alfredo sauce, chicken, green peppers, and onions, along with an Italian beef sandwich. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. First, they messed up the pizza order and put marinara sauce on it. When they called, they said they’d “scrape it off” and add Alfredo sauce instead. As you can see in the picture, it was a complete disaster—soggy crust, way too much sauce, cold, and falling apart. It was as gross to eat as it looked. The Italian beef sandwich wasn’t any better—dry and bland. If this is “old world pizza” like there website says it should have stayed in the old world.

I asked for whole pizza sausage 1/2 jalapeños. The pizza is wayyy more than 1/2 jalapeños. It is barely any sausage. Paid 3.50 per topping. Spent $53 all together for 1 pizza and appetizer trio. I tried calling no one answered the phone 🤦🏾‍♀️ The lady that took my order was nice.

Absolutely the worst!!! I opened the box to a cold MESS!!! I should have gone back and demanded my money back. Disgusting, soggy crust, rubbery chicken pieces, and horrible horrible taste. Tried to look past the mess and think OK we’ll take a bite just to see… Bad idea!!! How does an employee look physically at that mess of a pizza, decide to close the box, and hand it to a paying customer. How??!!

Came in, atmosphere was okay for an old school sit in pizzeria. Buffalo sauce from appetizers tasted like hand sanitizer. Dough from pizza tasted like dish soap. Canoli tasted frozen then warmed and like eating custard with sand. Chicken tenders were flattened to seem bigger (thought I received fried fish fillets). Best part was jalapeno poppers. Not coming back lol.

I wish I could give this experience zero stars but it’s not allowed. I ordered an 10” deep dish. Got to the restaurant and checked it. It was very runny, the bread was not all the way done and it was falling apart. So I spoke on it. He said they would remake it. I changed it to a thin crust instead. So I come back and ask for my change since there is a price difference between the deep dish and the thin crust. He handed me my change, I said thank you. His response was, “yup.” That’s fine. So I went and had a seat to wait on my pizza. As I’m sitting there I hear him talking big mess with the cook. How are you mad because MY $30 pizza is UNDONE!! So after hearing what he was saying, I asked for my money back. I don’t have to spend my money where it’s not respected. 0/10 do not recommend. Will not be returning.

Pizza and wings were very good!!! Customer service was excellent.

I had the house sampler that was good, and the street tacos that was too salty. I couldn't eat them but my server Orland took them back with no problem. He was very helpful and friendly.

We came here on a Sunday around 5:30. I would say maybe half full. Server was more worried about holding the counter up then bringing us silverware (after 3rd time asking he did bring 2 forks not even wrapped) Cheese curds were cold but we were hungry. When the food finally came out it was also cold and shriveled up. Asked for a manager and Bart came out. I was shocked that they let “management” present themselves like that but whatever. Bart was 0 help and never apologized for the nasty food. Maybe someone from this store can go to BWW in Elkhart IN to see how a restaurant is to be cleaned, food delivered fast and fresh and great server’s who know that their service rides on their performance.

Just had lunch there, ordered from the Pick 6 Menu. Our server was Tay and she was friendly with great service. However, my wings were cold and so were my fries, but my boyfriend’s burger was hot. I wish they would time things in the kitchen right so my food wasn’t sitting there getting cold. I recommend if you go to ask the server to bring stuff out as it’s ready, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a cold meal from here. As for the price, I think that deal is actually pretty good. They have a variety of options and we ended up leaving paying only $21!

First time here, I always forget this location is slightly hidden. The vibe was great. Good music, all the games going. Not too loud, that we could have a conversation among friends. Food was good, no complaints. Our server John, was on it, energetic, sweet, and knew what an Arnold Palmer was. We'll be back more often.

Last night, I visited your location in Hammond Indiana. My friend and I arrived a few minutes before 6pm. Once in the restaurant we had to wait for someone to come check us in about 2 minutes, wait for a staff member to clear the table and then wait at least 10 minutes before our server came over. Once she came over I asked would she be able to honor the happy hour prices because we've been waiting, she immediately responded by saying in a very defensive tone, we were only waiting on her for 2 minutes which was untrue and that I'd have to pay full price for the drink. I obliged and placed my food and drink order. My friend who was at the location with tried to explain to her that we arrived at the location before 6pm and that we've been waiting. Again, in a defensive tone, she dismissed our concerns and my friend asked to speak with the manager. The server, very rudely just stormed away. She never apologized for our wait or even made an attempt to understand what we were saying. 5 minutes later, the manager Raul comes up and introduces himself and asks us to leave the restaurant. Confused, I asked why, he said he was unwilling to service people who were rude to his staff. My friend inquired how were we rude to her and he responded that she told him we yelled at her which was untrue. Why would we yell at her? I try explaining this to Raul and he told me he wasn't interested in what I had to say and that we needed to leave. My friend asked again for his name and mentioned that we would be reaching out to corporate because we had done nothing wrong to which he responded with and elevated tone his name and that we could "call whoever we wanted". We left the restaurant in total confusion, quietly. I have eaten here many times with no issue, but my friend and I did not deserve to be asked to leave the restaurant by asking for a manager to clarify if we could receive the happy hour price. As stated earlier, I placed my drink and food order, meaning I had plans to eat at the restaurant either way. Raul was rude and unprofessional and so was his staff member. I'm very unhappy with my experience.

I've been to a number of local BWW and my lady and I were in the area and decided to try this one out. The atmosphere was great- sports games on the multiple TVs, a large bar, outside seating area, etc. However, the problems are with the service. My female companion and I have no problems conversing with each other (and we understand a Tuesday would be busy because of the deals) but we waited 10+ minutes to order drinks, around 15 minutes to get those drinks, and then longer to get our food. Why? Well, we noticed servers were going table to table not knowing where orders were to be served. We had to call over the server and let them know it was our food Another issue was that my friend didn't get her Pepsi until halfway through our meal and we were given dirty dishes that we had to send back. To top it off we were charged for an item that we redeemed with points (points were taken away but we were still charged for the food) and the only saving grace was waiting an extra 20 minutes for the manager to at least give us a discount on the food and trying to resolve the points issue. Needless to say...probably will not be back

My wife and I haven’t been here for about a year. We get the meal for two, she ordered an adult beverage and we both added to our order something extra with food. She got queso and bacon on the wedges and I had cheese on mine. My wedges had one clump of cheese that didn’t cover any of the wedges. There was no mild sauce on nearly all of the wings. Her’s came out with some bacon but no queso. He brought out mild sauce and queso instead of taking it back. After we had to prepare our own food at the table, he never showed up with our drinks. The manager comes by and we tell her about our experience. She asked us if we wanted them made again and we said no because we waited 30 minutes for our wrong order. She brought out our drinks 2 minutes before we left. She took six bucks off our order that we didn’t eat and had to prepare at the table. She admitted that there was hardly and sauce and cheese on our order. We never saw the waiter again that evening after the complaint. This will be the last time at this location. To the manager, you don’t charge people for wrong orders when we have to fix them at the table. Honestly we shouldn’t have to pay for a meal your staff got wrong and what makes you think that I would trust the same people to remake my order and get it right the second time? This location needs new managers, waiters and cooks. You’re about to 3 stars soon yet no one has addressed the issues brought to your attention before mine. Totally waisted my money.

I finally made the trip. My friend and I were celebrating my birthday late (9/11) on 9/27. Our bartender was awesome! The food deal of the day was a burger 🍔 with white cheddar, cherries and bacon jam on a brioche bun, fries 🍟, a shot 🥃 and a beer 🍺 for $22. Everything was fantastic!

unfortunately I have to make this review due to the experience I had for memorial day and the website is down so I can't send a private email. I get to 18th st and find out the brewery is closed for renovation while the distillery side was still opened, then on top of that there was a very limited menu option(social media said business was opened for memorial day but left that piece of info out and actually the distillery had pretty good food in the past so kinda bummed about that too but I wasn't going to fault it that much). now as time went on it became obvious that there was only one server who was getting our drinks, placing our food orders, and running food out while more customers started coming in for memorial day. I even heard the customers express confusion not knowing the brewery side was closed. I can't stress this enough how our server was a lovely young girl but there should have been no reason for her to be the only server at any point. we never saw any other worker come out to help her in any way. we get our food and partner's food came out perfectly fine but my order clearly had crucial missing ingredients(i know this seems petty but I genuinely couldn't tell if the kitchen had messed up or if they just ran out of ingredients). I am genuinely someone who doesn't like to make a fuss if there was something wrong with my order but this was baffling. I was going to bring it up to the server about the issue.... HOWEVER. She literally never came back to check up on us BECAUSE she was the ONLY PERSON that was doing EVERYTHING. It wasn't like she was just pouring beers, she had to make cocktails too. now I did like the cocktail that I got and I even bought a bottle of rum for home but I have to give a non-stellar review because that poor server had nobody else the whole time we were there(if there was someone else there, we never saw them helping out) and this will hurt the business in the long run if this is a trend.

This place was interesting. One door leads to the cocktail bar, and the other door leads to the brewery. So we started out with a cocktail, the bartender was very nice and helpful, the drinks definitely packed a punch, and the place was clean and classy. Then we went over to the brewery for lunch and more drinks. The entire staff were super happy and friendly. Which seems rare now a days. But it's definitely very welcoming. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, it was a nice place and we will definitely be back!

Amazing selection of beers and good set in a cool atmospheric beer tap room. Great service and music to boot! If you’re anywhere close to the area try this place out! 2025 update: unfortunately, they’ve cut back on the beers to four options now. There’s a lot more liquor options, though if you’re into that. The atmosphere is still welcoming. it seems like they reconstructing the set up of the brewery and hopefully this is just a temporary thing.

Amazing beers, everything we had from them was good. Only got appetizers this time, but the cheese curds were amazing. Atmosphere is great, staff was super friendly. The waitress even gave us suggestions of where to go locally after they closed. The outdoor patio is great for the summer, they have a bag set, and bocci ball, with several picnic tables, and are dog friendly. A+++ We will definitely be back despite the fact that it's a 50 minute drive for us.

I stopped by for lunch at the bar and I was very happy with everything. The beers were good, but the sandwich was amazing. I had their fried pork sando, and the pork cutlet on this was huge and wonderfully crispy. The brioche bun almost feels just like a handle for the meat, but the pickles and sauce complemented the fried pork nicely. I ordered quite a bit, but I was very happy with it all. The bartender was friendly and quick to handle the customers too.

This is a cool spot! We were honestly more impressed with the food than the beer! They didn’t have a hazy IPA when we went, but the food definitely made up for it. Our chicken sandwich & fish sliders were both hot, fresh, and delicious.

Lung Wah restaurant is a great disappointment. While the service was just a little slow, the food prepared was very poor. The chow mein Cantonese w/vegetables was very hot (temperature), it was quite unappealing visually and nearly tasteless. The general Tso’s chicken had some flavor, but the meat was actually cold and tough as though the meat has been cooked many hours (days?) before. The parking is fine… Only takeout still as of this date

I went there today an been going there since they opened but the older woman have a nasty attititude i spend 30 or 40 dollars every time i go an i asked her for sum extra soy sauce packs for mu fried rice an she rolled her eyes an gonna tell me a $1.45 for sum extra soy sauce ! Never again im going there an im posting this on social media ! Rude woman an nasty attitude ! Im good on them an advise people to stay away they dont care about loyal customers its all about money wit them an the place had a smell that almost threw up wen i walked in!

Y’all need to go to culinary school to learn how to make Asian food . This is awful . No flavor at all. Where are the seasonings? I ordered the beef lo Mein and I can’t chew the meat. Last time I got the Mongolian beef, No flavor just tasteless gravy. That was my last time trying this food. Extremely disappointed. It’s not that difficult, Add a little sesame oil, some dark soy sauce, oyster sauce. Not just some bland coloring.

After coming here for 5 years without any issues I placed an order on Friday to get a beef fried rice and pepper beef spicy. I got caught by a train and did not make it before the restaurant was closed. I called twice no response. I come here to order dinner today and was yelled at by a lady that embarrassed me in front of other customers. When she could have pulled me aside shown good customer service and actually talked to me like a human being. The only reason I made a purchase today was for my 81 year old father. I will never eat here again personally, you lost a customer that have brought you dozens over 5 years. Extremely disappointed. As a small business owner myself I understand her frustration but I would have been happy to pay for the meal she threw away but screaming at me about it like I purposely inconvenienced them often. Is a no for me. Hopefully she learns from her error.

Pizza is good, but it's really a go to place for subs. Super Subs took it to another level. Huge subs. Don't be fooled by the price. You'll get two meals out of it. Super All Meat, BBQ beef, meatball ( my favorites ) plus many more. Support your local business.

I haven’t been here in a while so I went last week. I was craving their pepperoni stuffed crust pizza. They add ground pepperoni inside the crust but I ask for it all over. In combination with the sliced pepperoni, it’s absolutely delicious. I love the taste of the thick layer of cheese and the crust is oh so good. One of my all time favorites. And the lady at the counter was very nice. Great job guys.

I've been going to Key pizza for years and it has never changed. They have delicious pizza and I recommend getting the 'stuffed crust' or 'fold over crust' which basically makes the end of each slice of pizza like you have a calzone! the crust folds over some of your pizza ingredients and makes it so much more interesting than an average pizza slice. Their cheese has a greasy salty flavor and I mean that in the best way possible, it really is delicious gooey goodness. The sauce is great. And they offer a huuuuuuge pizza,which is impressive. I love Key!

NO STARS! This place has put unwanted mushrooms on my pizza twice now, and mushrooms absolutely make me sick. But the sad part is when I called back and talked to someone they wanted me to bring the pizza back when my grandson had already ate a piece because he doesn’t mind mushrooms and that’s how we knew they were on there. The lady I talked to wouldn’t do anything for me besides remake it only if I brought it back but I didn’t have an hour of my time to give them and did not feel like going all the way back there. I have the receipt to prove I didn’t order mushroom on it and I have a picture I’m going to show the lady the next time I’m there.

The Harbor restaurant is closing this Friday, just so sad. Food still delicious but somewhat expensive, plus fries are now extra. Gonna miss you Zel's, but I must say the prices is what kept me away.

Exactly what you think you will get when you pull up. Great beef, plenty of the extras, fries that just are included with the sandwich, and the classic and authentic vintage space that you might not even know still exists in a diner.

This place is great got the Zel's burger and let me tell you it was so good I upgraded my fry to chilly cheese fries plus I got a brownie with a strawberry milkshake uff so good

Let me say first I got a chicken sandwich from there which was pretty good. Sadly tho' not very friendly. Zels for years included fries with every sandwich but not any longer. You have to pay for fries if you want them. My daughter ordered the meal which I thought fries would be included. I didn't get them. The Harbor location was by far the best location and woman at front counter has been there for years. Maybe she could've been tired. That chicken sandwich was pretty good! But service could be better!!!

Italian Ice are the best! You can taste pieces of the fruit at times while eating one (mango & strawberry). Mango is my favorite flavor. The 2 1/2 hour drive is worth every bit!!!!

Known for the Italian Ice, which is good, just not my thing. The cheessteaks are the bomb. Be sure you are up for it before you get a large. The mediums are big. Their fries are tasty as well.

Happened to search up Italian ice near me and this popped up so myself and my daughter took a trip.. when I say this is the best Italian ice I’ve had in a while it was so good! Tasty treat for summer weather

They have a great variety of flavors. I've tried several different combinations. The taste is spot on for each flavor. I haven't tried any of their food, but it is on my to do list. All staff are friendly and polite.

I went to Jodi’s and I had the most pleasant experience with the girl who waited on me! Her name was Alissa. I had never been there before, and I was really in the mood for something different. She put my order together and was so kind and sweet. It was really hot in the place but she still smiled and kept waiting on everyone with a good attitude. Even when the customers were complaining about how hot it was in the place, she just kept taking orders and getting the food out. A++ customer service from this girl!

The breakfast was good no complaints. But the restaurant old 70s style which is fine but can smell cigarettes when you walk in. I’m not sure if you can smoke in the restaurant or not!

What I love most about Flat Rock Tap located off Calumet Avenue, in Hammond, Indiana, is the regular Thursday night Open Mic's hosted by Marc Adrian. They run from 7pm to 10pm or a bit later. Mr. Adrian holds his own on acoustic guitar, but many other amazing local musicians drop by and share their talents with the audience. The service is terrific and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you're a musician, please stop by and jam with us (performers get one drink on the house!) If you don't play, that's ok. Come by and enjoy the great music and service!

Been here before and had a good time it was a cool vibe, trivia and a good bar tender. This time we stopped in for a quick one and got Elise as the bartender. Downhill from there. First...we were the only two black faces in the place. No problem...we don't care about those type of things but this time we got treated just like that. Elise poured me a double that was smaller than single and swore it was a double. She insisted she poured twice and when asked to pour a single she said she was out of my liquor. The double was so short because she ran out, but instead of saying that she tried to act like we were crazy. Then she proceed to tell us if we had a problem we could go somewhere else.... We were like wow! To make matters worse she went to the end of the bar and started talking to the guys sitting there about us like we couldn't hear her and when she was called out she told us to leave even though we hadn't finished our drinks. We told her to refund us and she gave us half what we paid and at that point there was so much tension, especially with her bf glaring at the side of my head, we just left. Flat Rock....your Sunday bartender Elise, sucks and comes off prejudiced even if she's not. Maybe black business doesn't matter to you but if it does...she's not the bartender for you.

Great dive bar, but not a consistent time to the kitchen. Seems like every time I show up the kitchen just close. Maybe they have a picture of my face at the bar. I don’t know.

We were told by several people to go to Flat Rock and have one of their burgers. It was one of the best burgers I have had in that area. Saturday special is a burger and side for $6.50. The hand cut fries are my wife's favorite. Bartender was great, my beer never went empty.

We went in for the Saturday burger special. It was delicious flavorful burger. I’m not a burger person so finding one this good was a delight! The wings were very good too. It’s a relaxed atmosphere which was so nice to enjoy our meal and drinks.

The music is way too loud. The server never came back after taking our order. The food was flavored but the beans taste like they were out of the can. The atmosphere esthetics was nice. I went to this place in May of 2023 I had gotten guacamole and a main dish. It didn’t turn well with my stomach and I got food poisoning. Maybe it was coincidence but I felt better after a week and then exactly two weeks after my first visit I went there again with my sister niece and mom. I got steak something completely different from the first time around then I was out for the rest of the day. I had gotten food poisoning again. My sister and the rest of the family had gotten the runs but I had it the worst of them all. Why is it so hard to be sanitary in these restaurants? Do they have inspection often because how are they still serving food? All that to say the food is okay. I just had a soup even after I told my mom not to order from there. Idk why she keeps going back but I’ll keep y’all updated to see if I get sick again and if their cleanliness has gotten better after more than a year. The chicken soup tasted bland and the tortillas had a weird after taste.

So I’ve gotten takeout most of the time from this place and it’s hit or miss, but usually miss. Their drive thru is super awkward and lots of the time I’m left waiting for a very long time even after they take my order. But I don’t even order food anymore, just their cremoso salsa verde. Like, I’ll buy 8-16oz at a time. It’s actually pretty consistent for the most part but sometimes it’s unbelievably spicy and I almost can’t eat it. I recommend getting chips with it. Their chips are delicious. Today I went and got some salsa and it had the perfect amount of spice. There’s no salsa in town better than that salsa unless you’re making it yourself. I got some pico de gallo too for the first time and it was pretty good and very fresh, just needed a pinch of salt.

We waited approximately 30 minutes for our food. The omelet was over cooked and the french toast was terrible. Tacos were skimpy & very, very small portion of beans and rice. The music they play is so loud you can’t hear each other. Not everyone wants to hear music loudly especially during the a.m. The waitress was nice and we tipped her very well. Do not recommend

What I ordered, what I got for $20. Aldi would have been $6 & better. They thought I just wanted the chips? Then why would I say no jalapeños? It was on time & warm, but the meat wasn't seasoned & I think $20 for some chips and canned nacho cheese is... I won't be back

The food was hot and fresh. We were seated quickly. The waitress was pleasant. All of our orders were correct. Whoever made the music playlist that day was really rocking it! 👌 The TV near the bar area had ESPN on, which was a plus for me. There aren't many Pepe's left, so please support this location! The food and service are always good. Tip: Ask for pico de gallo when they bring out the chips and salsa. Tip: Try the Pork Burrito Suizo.

Ordered a taco dinner and found a foreign object in food. Server took my plate and brought back the bill and deducted 1 taco from order. I asked for a manager and server said there is no management on staff at the time. Horrible customer service will not return to this establishment! Customer beware! Food was overpriced as well!

Definitely will not be coming back to Hammond Pepe's. Not only was our food wrong and had no flavor they also didn't want to honor the coupon I printed from their website because we had ordered steak meals which they said are not included even though the coupon and fine print doesn't state anything about exclusions. Very very displeased with this facility. $90 meal and then didn't receive the right food for one meal and both meals with steak tasted terrible. At least my kids meals were alright. Do not recommend!!!

my only complaint is the margaritas are over priced for a generic tasting margarita. Even with great tequila they aren't worth more than $6

This Wendy’s location was one of the dirtiest restaurants I’ve ever been to. The floor was greasy, ceiling tiles stained, and some seats were broken or filthy. The bathrooms were not maintained. Can only imagine the kitchen. Even though prices are standard for fast food, the lack of cleanliness made it feel like a waste of money. Would not recommend until management takes care of these issues.

Traveling through, left the Interstate to use the restroom. We decided to eat as well once we saw the Wendy’s. I have never seen a Wendy’s so dirty and rundown as this one. The staff was friendly but did get our order wrong and it is obvious that they don’t have enough time to clean. The restroom was disgusting, the floors felt oily, and those vents of my photos, super dirty. Come on Wendy’s we can do better.

On 8/13/2025 I arrived at 10:26 AM. I asked what time does lunch start. The lady over the speaker said 10:30 I said so in 4 minutes? ( I was going to go around and park to wait) she said probably not then because we still got breakfast. I repeated what she said just to be sure that’s what she meant, she confirmed I heard her correctly. I will never return to this location again.

Got the chicken tenders and they were crispy and tender! The service was outstanding very welcoming. I also received my food quick. The only downside were flies around.

Service is major crap here! The employees are all lazy and ignorant towards the customers! They never get food right so don't dare go threw the drive threw or you'll be making a trip back every time! I didn’t catch the name of the server that gave me my food but she was a blond haired heavy set women and she was very disrespectful to not only me but her workers and there was homeless people in and out of there. I couldn’t enjoy my meal , it’s very unsanitary for me and my kids to eat on a table used as such, every time I have gone in it smelts disgusting and stuffy. The women who served me was also giving out free drinks and food to the homeless people and I didn’t enjoy my food without smelling someone. Nothing was being done and I noticed it was not only me who had a problem with it because I heard the people next to be complaining about the smell as well. Great service from everyone but that women who served me. No reason why it smelt like that around a place of food service. I didn’t have a good time to enjoy my meal with my children

You wouldn't expect to see this beauty in industrial Indiana, but the location is just stunning. The patio seating is where it's at. It overlooks Wolf Lake, the golf course, and you can see the Chicago skyline. The food was great, especially the pork chops and appetizers. Surprisingly, the entire menu is extremely affordable. I'd recommend coming here for graduation dinners, date nights, and family outings. Check them out!

Fantastic Company Golf Outing at Emerald Green at Lost Marsh I recently hosted a company golf outing at Emerald Green at Lost Marsh, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The food was very good, the service was absolutely spectacular, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for corporate events. If you're planning a company outing or golf event, I highly recommend sticking around and having Emerald Green provide the food service. It really elevated the overall experience and made our day that much more enjoyable.

Service is hit or miss, mostly miss. Come here for lunch from work which implies a limited time to dine. We were served our sandwiches 55 minutes after ordering. When I went to inquire about getting our check for just the pop we had had i was informed that a large party in the conference room caused our delay. Three minutes after I asked for the check our food arrives. Why couldn't our waitress tell us about the delay due to the large party? She came by only once while we waited 55 minutes to refill our beverages and only stated our food would be up shortly. Really? 55 minutes to wait so we have to throw back our food in 12 to get back to work. Come here if you have all the time on your hands to dine or ask them.up front what kind of delay is in the kitchen - eventhough you only see 5 tables filled.

Walked in to a ln extremely freezing restaurant. The bathroom had music blaring in it so loud you couldn't even hear yourself pee. We ordered to go. Food was gross but starting to think that is just all McDonald's now

Evening crew is absolutely horrible. The store is a nightmare! The store is filthy, trash cans are overflowing, and you'll be lucky to find a clean table. The drink area has garbage all over the place. Not to mention the customer service is horrible! Total 180 from the fabulous afternoon shift.

We misunderstood and pulled up to the first window to pay. A woman leaned out of the second window shouting at us. When we got to the correct window the same woman had an attitude that we went to the wrong spot. It was a simple mistake and she was very rude towards us about it. The rest of the interaction wasn’t any better. She handed us our food and said have a good night but we hadn’t gotten our drinks and said that which she acted offended by and said obviously I’m about to get your drinks. We had asked for ranch when we ordered and it wasn’t in the bag so we asked for it and she stared at us annoyed and said really? I’ve worked in food service and know it sucks but damn girl chill.

Placed a mobile order for 3 special edition gold snack wraps and a small fry. Was told to drive around and wait. After waiting I received one gold snack wrap. One spicy wrap. And one ranch wrap. Either they ran out of the special edition or they completely missed my order and guessed. Either way I did not receive what I ordered.

Mix of employees ranging from very nice to the rudest ppl you've ever seen in the food industry. There's 5 employees tripping over themselves next to the drivethru window and screwing everything up. No quality control as there's no quality or anything "fast" besides tempers and attitudes in this ____food restaurant.

Waited 20 mins for my curbside pick up… until I talked to an employee. Then they forgot half my order and told me I had to wait in the drive up line which was at this time 8 cars +. So in total I waited 50 mins for my order which was only a couple items. On top of this I have a new born crying, 2 year old crying and 7 year old crying. The employee sent the cook to give me the rest of my food because they knew they messed up. Never again

Super cute family restaurant! :) I ordered #26 Pho Special, Pad See Ew, and Honey Pork Rolls. Nothing blew me away, but it was pretty good. Prices were very fair. The smoothies were the best thing I had. They were so fresh and sweet!!!!

It’s a tiny little spot but the food is so good! One of my favorite things about my experience was being able to see the food be prepared. The wings are something special 😍. I got the honey chili wings, shrimp fried rice and pork and shrimp dumplings. The wings were saucy and still crispy. Definitely coming back again and again.

So I ordered a pork fried rice with double shrimp. They gave me five shrimp. Is one serving 2 and a half?. So you charge me $8 for double shrimp that I don't get. But also make me pay a mandatory tip... ok make it make sense. Food was good just not what I paid for. Will try again but only once more if they can't get it right.

Great place to eat when you want authentic Vietnamese food. The chef knows what she is doing. The dishes are delicious and service is great. Will come here when I can't make it to Vietnamese town. I would recommend the beef pho, shrimp crispy crepes, and the noodles dry dishes.

Went in for food as I was looking through the menu the lady started turning the pages to what she thought I was looking for saying that what I was looking at was an “acquired taste” smh. I still ordered anyways they didn’t have a place to sit cause all the tables were dirty so I took my order to go. They gave me cold Pho broth and all the ingredients separate guess I’m supposed to warm this up at home. I wanted to take this order back and get a refund waste of money and time. Instead I’ll just leave this review and never go back.

I stopped going to the one on Ridge Rd and found this location to have wayyyyy better customer service although they take some time. I didn’t mind the wait. Tonight, the service was good, but the order was all messed up! I ordered an eleven pc and received ten. On top of that, this is what the inside of the chicken looked like on seven of the pieces. Disgusting! I tried calling to the restaurant and the voicemail of a 312 number answered, but was full. I won’t be returning.

Let me start off by saying, this is the worst Popeyes i’ve ever gone to. I arrived and went inside, I had a pick up order, so naturally I went up to the counter and said i had a pick up order. Some girl gave me an attitude for no reason and told me to get in line. So there i was, waiting in line for 45 minutes. Someone else came in with a pick up order as well and was taken care of right away. He was not told to get in line. Anyway, after waiting for 20 more minutes, i finally get my order and there is no sauce in the bag (i ordered bbq sauce). I ask the same girl that had earlier given me an attitude and she says to me, “we don’t got no bbq sauce”, with an even worse attitude than she had earlier given me. But no, this wasn’t the worst part. I get home and my family is waiting to eat. We sit down and are expecting a nice meal, but the nuggets are so salty they are barely edible, and the fries are cold and stale. The thought of returning them crossed my mind, but getting my money back wasn’t worth going back to such a terrible, terrible place. In conclusion, if anyone wants terrible customer service and disgusting food, this Popeyes is definitely the place for you :)

I've never had any bad experiences with this location when I dine in food is always hot and they serve in less than 10 minutes. However, the drive thro takes quite some time. I'm always satisfied with the taste especially the shrimps they're amazing. The staff is friendly too.

The cashier in drive thru is always very nice. However, when I made it home, the chicken was old; hard, and dried out. My children were hungry and had picked at portions of the chicken before I realized it. I could not get through, by telephone, to express my disgust. I've posted a picture of the remaining peices.

My review is only about the service. I’m currently waiting for an online order and it looks like they might be short a person or simply just busy as hell. There’s two girls and one guy manager working and they are doing an AWESOME job! They’re communicating great with one another, making sure they are getting every order correct and moving as quickly as possible. I’m impressed. I know how it is on those busy days where you got a bunch of ppl waiting and needing something, but they’re handling it graciously. Good job team!

Nobody is in there. I waited for 20 minutes. So I don't know if it's any good or not. If it helps, it's 1:33 a.m., and they claim to have a 24-hour drive thru. There are 5 cars in line right now, and the restaurant is empty, with no machines on or anything. And no sign to tell anyone they are closed or why.

This burger king does not respect medical issues or religious beliefs I ordered a number 3 which is an impossible burger..I was asked when I made it to the window did I order a baconator I said no..as I pull off I opened up the sandwich and it's bacon in there which let me know they just took the bacon off a MEAT sandwich and put it in an impossible wrapper I'm disgusted with the staff that think that's ok..me and my family don't eat meat

The food is ehhh. Workers are very nice. My orders aren't always correct. Not my first choice for a Burger King but it's the closest to my house. I rather drive to the one in Schererville.

Looks good on the outside. Horrible on the inside. Sloppily made barely any veggies. And the ones that were on there didn't taste fresh. Only reason they got a 3 is because the fries were fresh. This location usually does pretty well as far as quality but someone dropped the ball this time.

I'll NEVER return to this burger king again! I ordered the #1 no ketchup, add cheese and bacon, three 2 for $6 whoopers ( 2 no onions, 2 no ketchup add mustard, 2 with everything and add cheese on all). Everything was wrong. I talked to the manager, who was kind in the beginning. He said keep the burgers and he'll redo the whole order. He did. They were still wrong and I didn't receive the #1. I explained this to him. I also told him I didn't want all those burgers, I just want the one corrected. He threw a bagged burger at me, still incorrect. He told me that he's not dealing with me and closed the window in my face. I asked for the corporate number, through the closed window. He said google it. I didn't move from the window. He yelled for me to move or he was going to call the police. I told him to call. The police came, asking me to move to the parking lot. The police was very kind and understanding to my plight. I received the corporate number but left with 13 burgers that noone could eat and $35 less in my pocket. 0 STARS to the burger king on Kennedy in Hammond, Ind.

I'd stopped there this morning(2/26/25), ordered 4 croissant sandwiches and hash browns, thru drive-thru. I paid for those items. After getting to my job, I pulled up a chair to have breakfast with my buddy. I'd only been given 2 croissants instead of 4, and no hash browns. I'm a very rational person and am quick to defend an honest mistake, we all make them now and then. The problem, and why I'm now totally dissatisfied with the ordeal, is because I've been calling that same store every half an hour, only to get the message, "we're busy right now, try again later". No answering machine. I've never had this happen before, leaving me a bit irritable.

They were actually very nice respectful n even joking around having a great time while they work makes it go so smoothly
