Always delicious. Chef Tammy brings the flavor to every dish that she offers at her restaurants. Had the asparagus rolls and chicken wings, Spicy basil catfish, and tiramisu. The spicy basil catfish is one of the best dishes that I’ve had the pleasure of eating and the tiramisu is very well balanced with every element present. Excellent all the way around, from service to food to hospitality. Eagerly looking forward to returning

Very good food! Probably the best Thai food in the area in my opinion. Tasted very fresh and flavorful. The sweet chili sauce is a 10/10. Will be coming back to try other options. We got the Pad Thai and Sesame Chicken and not pictured was the Calamari which was breaded perfectly

We stumbled upon Asparagus for a weekday lunch, and while it looked promising as an upscale Asian restaurant, the experience fell short. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it still took a while for us to be seated, which wasn’t a great start. I ordered my go-to dish, Drunken Noodles, expecting the bold, spicy flavors it’s known for—but unfortunately, it was completely bland and lacked any spice. Overall, we were very disappointed with our food, and it is definitely not worth the price.

The service is pretty hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's amazing, and sometimes it leaves a lot to be a desire. My most recent dining experience was the latter. The service wasn't great, but the food is always amazing. We had to look for our server. A few times he definitely forgot a drink..... It wasn't busy at all, I think he's just maybe not the best server. When you are spending what you spend there. I do expect an upper level type of service. But again, the drink was amazing. The appetizers were phenomenal, & the food excellent!

This is a beautiful restaurant! There are always fresh flowers on the table and even their utensils and dishware are very elegant. The food and drinks are amazing! I love everything I've eaten! My favorites are pad see eiw, pineapple fried rice, and The Devil Made Me Do It cocktail. Everything is so delicious and you get very good portions. You seriously can't go wrong. We had the asparagus crispy rolls, the wings, catfish curry, fried rice, 2 drinks, and tiramisu for dessert. Best lunch ever!

Pretty space with comfortable seating. The waitress, Courtney K, (hey Courtney🤩) was kind, patient, friendly and just a beast in general! The food! I love this food! I highly recommend! Visit! ❤️❤️

Very nice clean restaurant. Very friendly staff we had a great waiter. He was very attentive. Join their app program. We got a free blooming onion for joining the app program. All of our food was cooked fresh and hot and was very tasty. They have a great Caesar salad. They also have some really good deals where you geta salad or soup and your choice of burger or shrimp with fries or a potato and a dessert. Great deals.

The Chicken Caesar Salad that I ordered to go had rotten lettuce in it. When I noticed, I stopped eating it. I pray that I don’t get sick! First and last time ordering here! I’m going to contact the Department of Health!

My son and I had takeout after winning both baseball games. I had the salmon and asked for it to be cooked longer, which I would’ve like even longer. I didn’t even eat more than 3 bites of it. The rice was bland and dry. Broccoli was however, yummy. The Cesar salad was actually good considering it’s hard to mess those up? Anyways, won’t be returning when we are back in town.

Boomerang flights were delicious but had no alcohol. I drank all four glasses. It was fine because I was driving but I atleast expected a little warm feeling. Food, can't really mess up a steak too bad. But the coconut shrimp had way too much breading.

I usually order a lot of my food to go on the apps because I travel so much. Tonight, I didn’t realize that I was in a different time zone than the restaurant I was ordering from so I accidentally put my time for an hour later than When I would actually be there. I called the restaurant and they fixed it for me right away and it was ready when I got there. The food was delicious and the steak was cooked perfect. They were so friendly in helping me fix my mistake.

Me and my mom have been driving and moving around for hours. The time is 9pm so an hour before they close and we placed a pick up order because we were starving hoping for good food somewhere. We usually do fast food but we took a shot in the dark and got Outback Steak House! We were not disappointed........the staff was so polite, the food was cooked, seasoned, and fresh to perfection! The wait was super short and we were very pleased customers!! Coming from Cincinnati, Ohio this was exceptional 👏 If I had my wallet on me at the time I would have tipped more than I did online if I would have known. -- MERRILLVILLE

Always a pleasure dining at Gamba! They treat me like family! The food, wait staff, and bartenders are always on point, very friendly, and always professional as well! My wife and I absolutely love it there!

To say this Italian restaurant is amazing is an understatement. The half-moon ravioli stuffed with Chianti-braised beef short rib in a brandy cream was absolutely outstanding. The red wine–braised duck with peanuts was equally unforgettable. And the tiramisu? Without question the best we’ve ever had. Between the unique menu, unbelievably delicious food, and our waiter’s outstanding service and personality, celebrating our 20th anniversary at Gamba’s made for a dinner we’ll never forget.

We hosted a 60th birthday celebration at Gamba yesterday. Tori was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! The food was wonderful, the drinks were amazing, delicious sweets! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening! Thank you Gamba and a very special thank you to Tori! You rocked it!

Excellent Olive Garden franchise. We came on a Monday for lunch and still had to wait 10-15 minutes—their business is doing great, very popular here. Our server was full of smiles and everything ran smoothly. She was perfectly accommodating. The bathroom was clean and our dishes came out at a good temperature. The dishes were high sodium but some of that is to be expected.

We are very happy that along with all that, we also got to meet you and be a recipient of your great service. You did everything in the right amount. Timing of your appearance upon introduction, timing of requested drink (water) to the table, timing of the requested food items (soup and salad) to the table, timing of checking on us, and the amount of times you checked on us was not intrusive. So, from the beginning to the end you could not have done a single thing better. My favorite food at Olive Garden has ALWAYS BEEN THE BREAD STICKS. Not any longer, they were dry, skinny and tasted very blah. What the heck is going on? We did not take left overs nor the remaining bread sticks. This Sucks!!

My s.o. & I ate here for our 12th anniversary on Sunday 10.5.25. Food was amazing as always, though felt like the mashed potatoes were maybe a bit more dry than they typically are; but not really a complaint since I still ate them all & it was delicious. I just want to compliment the servers here. We don't actually eat here too often (usually get orders to-go), but our server was superb! Very attentive, checked on us often. I think her name was Emmie? Or MJ. I wish I would have asked her for confirmation before we left. Younger woman with dyed reddish/ginger hair in pig tails. She was a bit anxious (she told us this) but she was wonderful! I hope she gets recognition from this and others as well. I've been to this specific location since the early 2000's and don't believe I've ever had a negative experience. I love Olive Garden! Especially the minestrone, OMG. I always order a half gallon of it, at the least 😅 the salad is amazing, and breadsticks, though I don't eat them myself anymore since they upset my stomach. I really appreciate that they carry gluten-free rotini; that is my main go-to with marinara (vegetarian/vegan at home.) If you've never been to this location or an Olive Garden, please check it out! I don't think you will be disappointed. We will be back whenever possible and order take-out (though my s.o. agrees the dine-in food was better than take-out.) He ordered their shrimp Alfredo, which he loved. All around a pleasant dining experience, long as you're not seated near customers with crying babies (not the staff's fault, lol.) Though maybe a note/suggestion if ever possible, it would be great if they could seat families with young children away from couples without kids, who would prefer a more peaceful dining experience.

When we entered there was a really strong unpleasant smell in the entire restaurant. I hopped it was only at the entrance (bathrooms near entrance) but the bad smell was even in the back dining room. Smelled musty wet. I wonder if it has anything to do with the sewer work taking place outside the restaurant on Rt 30. I wish I would have trusted my instincts and left. Portion sizes are big. Didn't take home leftovers because it just didn't taste very good. Spicy meat sauce was a new menu item and it was better than regular meat sauce. Probably won't go back. Server was really good!

This restaurant gets very busy for dinner. Even with it being so busy today, we had the pleasure of having Arturo as our waiter. He provided great service, was kind and friendly, and kept checking on us with a smile. Thank you for the delightful dinner.

The endless pasta special would be great if you were able to get sauce with the pasta I ordered 5 different combinations and I was only given 1 tiny ramakin of sauce which was not even a tablespoon for each order and I was told that's all I could get on the reorders no more !!!!!! What a rip off the advertisement says all you want including pasta and sauce won't be back for this scam ever!!!!! This was Michigan City Indiana Olive garden and I spoke to a manager about it and she said that is the company policy, so they need to look over the advertising they provide it is very misleading!!!

I've always wanted to try Indian food. I finally did. I ordered the lamb tikka masala. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! The service was excellent. I'm now sorry my first experience with Indian food was here because I will always judge any Indian restaurant to this one. If I could give them more stars I would. Highly recommend.

Got there relatively late on a Saturday night, but the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we never felt rushed. The chicken tikka masala was great with just the right amount of spice. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted great.

First time having Indian food since moving to NWI! I’m so glad we stopped here!! Friendly service and didn’t take forever to get our order ☺️ I forgot what my appetizer was called (lol) but we got chicken makhani and garlic naan and it was EXACTLY how it should be! Hit the spot!! I ordered chicken noodles through their official website but received vegetarian noodles instead. When I called to report the issue, they checked with their chef and confirmed it was their mistake — yet still redirected me to a third-party customer service team. It’s frustrating that even after acknowledging the error, they refused to offer a refund or even a coupon. Completely unacceptable service.

TLDR: This place has a nice and homey atmosphere and the food is delicious! Check em out! Hello everyone! I wanted to write a review of this small cafe here! I wanna first state how wounderful the service was. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, and was quick to make sure we had a wounderful time. Albeit, we did come in when there wasn't much people. I know she worked hard to make sure to keep things running and doing her best! Today, we ordered their lunch special: Patty Melt Deluxe, with our side being cittage fries. It comes with their soup: Lemon Rice. Now, I'm a big sucker for Lemon Rice soup and their Lemons are great! You can taste the zestinesa from the lemon mixed with the contents of the slightly salted soup. The rice is perfectly cooked, no hard rice here! Their bread rolls aren't as soild on the outside as your typical roll, but they were easy to tear apart and dip into the soup! No bread bowel, but soup dip is also a favorite! The Melt though, was the dish to get. The Pattu Melt comes with carmalized onions and cheese. At this time, we are unable to tell you the chese as we ate the patty quickly due to it being delicious. The cottage fries were very delicious as well. Soft and salted to perfection. We may have ate a bit to much, but we were satisfied. My Italian cheif friend here agrees that you should come over and support this small little place and give them love!

The prices went way up from what the pictures show and the food looks and tastes like it's all from a can. Even the hot sauce tastes like they added something to stretch it. Service was ok though.

We honestly really wanted to like this place. I ordered the chicken stir fry and was very disappointed. From the dried out chicken to the frozen (not fresh) veggies along with uncooked rice it was horrible. The waitress was wonderful and we actually tipped her extra.

We were looking for food at a local business and this was a great choice. It's a small place where the people are comfortable enough to take off their shoes while eating. The service was great as was the food. The prices match the amount of the delicious, freshly made food served. There are regulars who are known by face and name. Go early because it fills up quickly. We wanted to go back for breakfast on Sunday but by 9:30 am the place was already at COVID capacity. If we're ever in this area again, we'll be sure to stop for a bite to eat!

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the gravy look like the meat might have been spam because it didn't look or taste like sausage. And it had a brown tint to it. It did not taste good at all. The bacon and eggs and hash browns we're okay. There are better choices for breakfast in the area.

I just want to say that I ordered the southern skillet and the diced potatoes were horribly freezer burned , which made the whole thing taste really bad. No kind of real apology was given , except the server did say that when I mentioned it that they could have told me that. And the biscuits and the gravy they use is homemade and terrible.

Quiet out of the way place with great food and welcoming atmosphere. All home cooked goodness.......HOMEMADE GARLIC SALAD DRESSING!!!!!!! Great place to hang out with friends.....not rushed. Highly recommend

It was my first time ever having lunch at this restaurant. It's usually a breakfast spot for me,and a coworker wanted the fried chicken 🍗 . We wondered why it came out before the other orders at the table. We were informed that the chicken is not made to order. That is a preference for me. However, it was enjoyed, but the meatloaf was questionable and sent back. I enjoyed the catfish dinner 🍽 and I'll stick with that!!

Food is good of course. One of the white women (Christina is her name) working here was very rude and definitely did not want to be working today. I’m walking with my elderly parents and she’s just yelling excuse me rudely. Then she ends up being our waiter and come overs dry and super rude. I get the manager (older black guy) and explain the situation to him and he seems very understanding then comes back and scolds me on there policies of the $20 mimosa. I wouldn’t come here unless you plan to be scolded 3 times back to back. Clearly the customers are not respected and they don’t care about customer service just what you spend & tip. 2nd waiter was amazing & apparently he was informed of the situation and stated. He didn’t know what was going on with the other waiter and then proceeded to inform us on the id situation. Will R was amazing. Definitely recommend asking for him. He was perfect and definitely cares about his job.

Biscuits were horrible. The campfire beef was really good, but the amount of beef and food for $17 was pretty poor. It left me hungry. A little less money at Texas Roadhouse filled me up and the quality was superior. Service was excellent except it took a little bit to get seated. I was pretty disappointed that Cracker Barrel doesn’t have a military discount. To sum it up, it’s been a while since I’ve eaten at a cracker barrel and tonight’s experience reminded me why. It was an average experience that cost more than most restaurants. It will probably be another 10 years before I eat at another one.

We have ordered take out from here on several occasions over the past few years. Very seldom have we gotten everything we ordered, most times had a long wait for our order, food is not the best and often encountered rude employees. I have stopped ordering from them but today my husband wanted their breakfast. He is disabled, so I had to go in to get the order. First off, I was told that the order that should have been done 20 minutes before I got there was not done. Then I was told that the ham that my husband ordered was not available. I waited for them to give him sausage instead. At the point where I was about to ask if they had to go out back and slaughter the pig, the food finally arrived. I should have checked it all before I left. When we got home, we found the ham that they claimed they didn't have, and it was hard as could be. He only got one piece of bacon instead of the two he was supposed to get. For his sides, he got apples and gravy, neither of which did he order. And he did not get the $5 meal he ordered and paid for. And when the girl brought the food out, she just handed it to me, no apology, nothing. This is it for us and this place. Bob Evans is much better!

I always get the Roast Beef dinner but now it's changed. Server said they don't make and slice their own Roast beef anymore. It now comes in already prepared packet with about 5 chunks of roast beef, a couple carrot pieces, onions, and celery in gravy. You don't get what the picture shows, that's for sure! And it came out like warm. I wish they'd go back to sliced roast beef!!!!!!

I broke my ankle a couple of weeks ago, and I'm using a walker to get around. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, beginning with the manager who held the door open for me and got us a table right away.. Our server, Brandy, was wonderful. The food was delicious (as always). I always enjoy my visits to Cracker Barrel, and I love the new redo to the dining area (although I'm glad they kept the original logo.)

Finally had the boil bag and it was definitely worth it! Well seasoned entirely. Our server Laura was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to have her. Great Job Red Lobster!!! That's how you make a come back. Kudos to the new CEO!! 😊😊

Chas was our waitress and very sweet. Even though it was super busy, she made sure that she was super attentive and catered to us. Everything about today’s visit was wonderful. I’d like to suggest one thing: some type of hand mitt for the servers to use for the hot plates

We came around 3 pm yesterday after a full day of shopping. We sat in the bar area in John’s section. My sons were pretty rowdy and overstimulated. Our sons are 7 and 9. They got to order for themselves when our server called my youngest by name he got so happy and calm. (Our server learned his name by listening to our conversation). My husband and my oldest our both named John. My boys told me I should get a J name too. Food was hot and fresh and exactly how we ordered it. I left my card at the table and my server brought it to me. We lucked out because he wasn’t busy. He pulled out a lobster from the tank and my sons got so excited to touch it. Our server is so knowledgeable he showed us how to tell if it was a boy or a girl, how they taste and hyper sensitivity In their legs to sense danger and wave direction, eggs, molting is very similar to reptiles and how they shed, two stomachs one is behind the eyes, their teeth are in their throat, how they swim. The lobster he pulled my husband noticed it had barnacles and our server confirmed it was. It was pretty awesome have a little science fair shop talk about lobsters. It was a memorable experience my sons are not going to forget. Thanks John

Great food and customer service was excellent, the wait was not bad at all considering that it was really busy with people. My favorite is the lobster and garlic shrimp, the drinks here are also good as well.

The service along with the food was great! High recommend the shrimp linguini Alfredo. Randall was a great server! He was so kind and gave me and my sister free ice cream for our birthday. :)

The service was great. I normally get something different but id thought Id try this for a shot. The burger was no more than a burger but the corn on the cob was different than suspected. Me and the hubby went out today for dinner. I tried their Shrimp, Broccoli, and Sweet Potato this time. Couldn't believe one thing I TOTALLY enjoyed though was the broccoli tonight !!

Excellent food and servers are always friendly and attentive! Steaks are great. Lamb chops paremesan encrusted are amazing, and the spinach dip is the best! All menu items we've had were 5 star!

It was a lot going on that Tues They sat six of us at a table that offered our group no elbow room The excuse was they wanted to save that table in case a bigger group came...... On a Tues yea no They didn't give us bread right away, they were out of key things on a menu, and they tried to make up for it. Hello 👋 I wanted to share our experience at a celebration birthday for my 20yr old daughter last night Friday October 10, 2025 . At Merrillville Indiana location. We got there at round 4pm . Not busy at all . Place is really cool . We were greeted and sat immediately. Our waitress was really helpful. My daughter got chicken strips and saled and asparagus.. my hubby got the Tbone and ceaser saled and baked sweet potato. I got 9oz filet , Mac in cheese and Brussels. We also had the appetizer fried shrimp . Everything was excellent. But one thing was not right . Some how they mixed up mine and my hubby's steak on the way we chose to have them cooked. Asked for a manager he came over and we explained. Offered to cook him a new steak . He declined . And he took 25% off our bill . Which was a very good meal at an excellent price. We have a new bday , anniversary place. Was an Execellnt experience with excellent food and prices . I recommend going . They also gave my daughter a delicious strawberry 🍓 shortcake with a candle in it . So sweet. 100 .00 with the 25% discount which was almost 27.00 . Tipped 30 bucks . She was so sweet. I should have gotten her name .

We always have a wonder lunch at LongHorn Merrillville. The renegade sirloin and broccoli is our favorite. Liz is the best server. She is kind attentive and our order always comes out perfect. We will definitely be back for lunch and request Liz!

My son and I hit up the Longhorn Steakhouse on our overnight stop towards South Bend and a Notre Dame football game the next day. The service was good and the food met the same standard. We both had the Ribeye. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My son ordered the Mac And Cheese for one of his sides. He said it was so good, he would have just ordered that if it was offered as a main dish. I had the brussels sprouts. They were probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. I'll be looking online for a recipe to try to replicate them the next time we have brussels at home. To top off the good service, it was speedy too. Definitely a great place to stop if you're looking for a good steak and quality service.

As soon as we came in, all the employees scrambled and we were left to wait until someone felt like giving us a table. Food was pretty good except for the fish, it was very fishy, not that our server cared, she dropped the check when the entrees came out. Won't be returning.

We tried their weekend buffet, Sunday 1-9, (reservation recommended), which was phenomenal. The buffet had like 10 dishes, but all were equally delicious and beyond expectations. The lambs were tender, the rices were flavorful, the pastas were scrumptious. They provided pita breads on the tables which is really nice to eat with the soup, particularly the lentil soup. Only downside is the lack of beef dishes (there was only one with okra). The dessert section was a bit limited but they were amazing. 30$ for this halal buffet may seem much, but it’s totally worth it.

Really good restaurant for dine in and good food. Friendly staff and great ambiance. We stopped on our way to Chicago and liked the food. The Sultan platter was good and more than enough for 4 of us. The rice tasted ok, but was different from other Mediterranean places tried and not my favorite. Grilled meats were good. Their lentil soup was also good. Would recommend this place if you are looking for good Mediterranean food and dine at a clean restaurant with family.

The service was fast and the wait staff were very friendly. The food was delicious! Everything was fresh and homemade. Definitely authentic and you can taste the seasonings in every bite. The coffee was delicious but so was the hand squeezed orange juice. Can’t wait to come back again soon, can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try this hidden gem!

The food here is seriously good! The hummus is so smooth, and the falafel is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—just perfect. The shawarma had great flavor, though it was a little on the dry side. Service was friendly but a bit slow, especially when it got busy. The place itself is cozy but could use a little sprucing up. Overall, if you’re craving solid Middle Eastern food, it’s a great spot.

Delicious and fun dining experience. We got the four course fondue dinner, which included a cheese fondue, salad, entree course, and dessert. While the portions look small, we both left feeling satisfied.

Expensive. Salad was from a bag. Brown and tasteless. Could of put more time in a fresh salad with some fresh veggies. Server saw that the salads were not eaten, and asked if we enjoyed their homemade dressing. Ha! Dessert was the best if I had to give one thing that was good. It was also annoying that they said next time call first for reservation. Place was empty and waitstaff was standing around. I wont be calling for reservations because I will not go and waste my money. Bill was over $100.00 for 3 of us with soda drinks. Disappointed

I brought my husband who has never been for his birthday and he loved it! The food and the staff are great! For anyone who has never been plan to spend on average 1.5-2 hours as it does take some time, but it makes for an excellent date.

Great cheese and bread appetizer the salad was just a little lettuce. It was completely ridiculous. I can't believe they serve such a plain drab dish. The entries were small but good quality. My wife liked it. It's a unique way of dining but I was hungry when we left and wanted to get some food somewhere else.

I was here a while ago, the fun of choosing what you’re dipping your food in and trying new things together was something I really liked, the food was delicious. I feel that the food is as good as you’re willing to make it, if you want more cheese or sauce or chocolate or to try this or that together you get to choose. I’d highly recommend for a date, it’s fun to try all of the options and actively interact with your partner/date/friend. The calm atmosphere was relaxing, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed and concerned. I’ve been a loyal Chick-fil-A customer forever and have always trusted their quality — but this experience completely changed that. I ordered two meals about 40 minutes before closing, and the chicken nuggets I received were cold, sticky, smelled strange, and looked gray/pink and undercooked on the inside. It was so disturbing I couldn’t even finish my food. I even felt sick afterward. I went to the restaurant the very next day, showed the food and photos, and the manager showed little concern — offering only a refund for the nuggets, which did not feel appropriate given the situation. I also reported the issue to Chick-fil-A corporate over a week ago and was told someone would follow up — no one ever did. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and food safety in this case. I hope this location and corporate leadership take this seriously before someone gets seriously sick.

Loved the one location in Valparaiso. Very clean and sandwiches are fresh. And the staff helped me order through my phone. They have a QR code on each table and the food comes to you. Very nice. There is a kiddie corner for the little ones to play too

I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again wasted $45 on food for me and my family. Came here on Saturday to get food we ordered four different meals and the chicken tenders were not in the bag. Also, we were missing chicken on the salad and the lady refused to give us more than one sauce per meal and I asked her just to charge me and they said we don’t do that! And she didn’t believe me that we were missing food

The absolute worst service I’ve ever had at a Chick-Fil-A. I received chicken strips instead of chicken nuggets and they wouldn’t correct it because I didn’t have a sticker that was on my tray. When I asked to talk to the manager Shirley she was extremely rude and refused to help me. So I left paying for food I never received. This was the complete opposite of any other CFA across the country where it is “my pleasure” to serve you. Needless to say, I’ll never go back there again.

Great spot for a Culver's. Servers were friendly, food came out quick with no mistakes and was a good temperature. Nobody said bye as they usually do at Culver's this time so I took off a star for service. Also one man at the end of the day was throwing rolled up mats under a table quite quite carelessly and had an obvious sense of "im-done-i-dont-wanna-be-here" attitude. Looked upset as if someone gave him a super hard job and he was at a breaking point. Just made it awkward to look at but oh well it's Culver's. Haven't had a problem here getting a wrong order. Nothing's been too hot or not hot enough here. 8.1/10 or 4/5 for a Culver's quality

Seriously, Hayley was the best! She even shares my weird love for thin rough beef jerky! The food was delish and the entire staff was so helpful. Honestly, I wish this was closer to our home since we were only visiting for travel baseball and everyone was great here.

Our waitress was phenomenaland so was our food. I forgot her name but she was running the bar as well. Love us some Red Robin. We both had the Cheesy Bacon Fondue Burger. Sooo good! Boneless Buffalo Wings were amazing as always.

Britt is amazing waitress. Always has smile in her face as well as the greeters at the door. We love our speckled lemonades which is what brought us in today. . We are repeat offenders. Today she had our drinks and appetizers on the table by the time our butts hit the seat pretty much. She even had refills for drinks without being asked.

As soon as I walked in it was a very welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted immediately with the sweetest host. My server Brittany was absolutely amazing. She was so nice and made me feel at home. She was on top of her game for sure. Even the management, Tim and Natalie, came over to welcome me to Red Robin. Cooks did an amazing job on my burger. Thank you to all the staff working this day. I’m visiting the area and stopped by Red Robin. Hannah was super friendly and welcoming—she made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. She recommended the Spiked Freckled Lemonade, which was perfect—refreshing and not too sweet. I had the Whiskey River BBQ Burger with bottomless fries, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The place had a chill vibe, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Big thanks to Hannah for the great experience but also the laughs!

You could say I’m a Red Robin original. Been coming here for 15 plus years no joke. Easily the best spot to eat around the area. Service is top tear especially Britt and Mrs. Chris Blue! Britt always has a contagious positive personality! Food came out quickly and tasted great. 10/10 would recommend.

Server was wonderful!!! She was informative, cheerful apologetic and helpful, but,silver ware was dirty and she brought us plastic disposable.. ordered the food and then she came back to tell us they were out of burgers.. dirty tables sat the whole time were were there there were 5 servers and maybe 20 customers.., most of which were at the bar... Servers were horse playing loudly in the back rather than doing basic dining room upkeep..

We arrived and waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. If it wasn’t for the sweet bartender seeing us waiting and seating us, we would have left. Our waitress was Niesha. She took our order, and while we waited for our food we noticed she was being very attentive to a larger party seated beside us, we figured we were in good hands. WRONG. The food came out and she rushed to the table set the food down and immediately left not a “how does everything look, do you need anything else” we were gonna order more food, but didn’t even get a chance before she turned around and left. My bf finished his drink and had to share mine because she never came to give him a refill. I asked for an extra dip and it took her about 15 minutes to bring it, by the time she came I was almost done with my food. Oh, but the table beside us had refills, sauces and constant check-ins. Overall terrible service, if it wasn’t for the food actually being good and fresh I would have given a 1 star.

Very disappointing. We always have a great experience at every other hooters I’ve ever been to. We were traveling through the area and decided to stop for dinner. My partner has a service dog that she is literally in life threatening danger without. We we’re sat next to a very ignorant table and got comments such as “you better not have a dog in here” and when we explained he was a service dog we we’re met with another snarky comment of “he’s not servicing me”. All of which our server overhead and did not say a word to either us or the other table. We later found out that the other table was her family. Eventually we got our food, the marinara for the mozz sticks was disgusting and absolutely nothing like what’s usually presented at hooters. It seriously tasted bad like something was wrong with it. When we brought it up to her she said she couldn’t do anything except “bring us a ranch” and proceeded to show us the sauce from another table and said it’s just how they’re coming out right now. I would’ve preferred she just took them back and took them off our check but of course we got no offer for that. The rest of the food was fine except that we never got refills even when the drinks were gone for the majority of our visit. Katie may have noticed if she wasn’t too busy snuggling with her boyfriend one table over. Her son also dropped a yo-yo over into our booth multiple times while trying to look at our dog. Which is not his fault but the family members sitting with him should have not let this happen continuously. All this happened while the manager was watching aswell. When Katie thought we had been here long enough she put a check on the table. Still no refills, no asking if we wanted the check, how we wanted it split, nothing. We would’ve preferred to order desert but instead we just left. We won’t be back.

Fried shrimp is amazing with mild sauce! Chicken sandwich was avg and Philly was pretty tasty. Took quite awhile for food and fries were cold, but overall staff was friendly and it was a decent lunch! I love their seasoning salt!

We love our hooters night it's been awhile. Definitely notice the food quality was not there. Buffalo shrimp tasted fishy and were cold when we got them, along with the frys. The menu was so dirty to the the touch and had so many items crossed out in black sharpie. Just a bad look. Restaurant was clean around us and, server was good though!

The server I most recently had was beyond a nice. I feel like I never have a bad server. I have regular buffalo wings tossed in medium sauce and they were fine. I feel like the shrimp was overtossed and soggy. I always get shrimp and I always get chicken so I have plenty of experience to compare. I also overheard from where I was sitting two servers complaining about management and favoritism. I've had both of those servers before and they are great servers! Bad managers make good employees Not want to work as hard.

Absolutely horrible! Found out 5-10 minutes after we ordered that what we ordered was no longer on the menu. Two of us got food then had to wait about 15 for the other two to get there food. The waitress couldn't answer any question without talking with the manager. Had to wait forever to pay to leave. The food wasn't good at all. Very disappointed.

Im sure everybody is doing there best , food service is hard work and employees need to be paid more. Variety of foods and dessert where very good. I gave them 2 stars because I came for the steak, it's wasn't the same , cut of meat was different and portion size was ridiculous. Size of a piece you would cut up for a toddler.

Server was wonderful. However everything else was terrible .. Visited 10/15/25 with my family, there was starchy water in the mash potatoes, pasta noodles were soggy not al dente, food was bland, pot roast was cooked separately from the veggies which was mind boggling as I have never seen this at ANY location! Food was not good. And the restaurant was freezing cold. Not the normal cold, but cold to the point where mine and 4 other tables were asking could the heat be turned on. Terrible experience overall and me and my family will not be returning.

Today after memorial service of a dear friend the late Howard Walker 7 of us from the Glen Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness’s. Went to Golden Corral it was the best experience the food and service was excellent!!! The news wings and chicken fingers was amazing!!! We socialized and our waiter was very attentive we appreciated this experience. We will return!!!

Came here to eat some food. The only thing is they didnt have any food out to eat. Salad bar EMPTY. How is a salad bar empty? Theres no food to cook. No fresh fish or any other hot food for that matter. This is pitiful. I"ve been here for about 10 mins now and still no salad bar food. The lettuce is scarce...no tomatoes but I raggedy tomato. This is really sad! Maybe there were call outs or something because i just cant imagine this business surviving with this kind of service. Will I come back to this location....maybe not. I feel like I've been bamboozled. I paid to eat upon entering. I feel like I should've been given a disclaimer upon entering. I should've know something wasn't quite right when there were hardly any plates. Terrible experience. No plates. No spoons. No food hot or cold. The entrees were terrible stocked. I asked our server who was nice to speak with the manager and he never came. Maybe they were short staffed but the manager at the very least could've talked to us and acknowledged that. This was the WORST Golden Corral that I have ever gone to. Eater beware!

I previously stopped going to the golden coral in Schereville due to a biligerent manager that I personally witnessed demeaning customers and employees. I refused to eat in an environment. I have been going this location in Merrillville every since usually on the weekends for breakfast and have had outstanding experiences everytime. Unfortunately I was very disappointed to see that this manager is now at this location and the atmosphere is already changing. She looks like she hates her job and I now will be boycotting this location as well now that she has moved. She is unprofessional and not a good look for golden corral. If you're looking for a peaceful environment to enjoy a meal avoid this location.

Hidden gem. If you're from the east or SE from this spot, there aren't really better options and this is worth the drive. Try the chaparral tacos, I was confused at first but now I need these every week. They're a blend of beef, chicken and shrimp in a red sauce that just explode with flavor. Everyone at my table said their food was salty but I didn't get that.

We tried the shrimp tacos, steak tacos and a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. Ok my husband SHRIMP tacos stole the show they were flavorful & a nice size ! My steak tacos although great presentation we're lacking flavor. They were bland unfortunately. The chicken enchilada was more flavorful but I tried the green Verde sauce instead of the red sauce which I prefer more but I tasted the chicken alone and it was good. The 🌟 of the show was Shrimp tacos and I don't even like shrimp 🤣. The DRINKS are Strong! We had Pina Coladas !

Very authentic tasting food. Wide variety of selections on the menu. Very festive and inviting ambiance. Service was super friendly and very attentive. We had camarones a la diabla, a nicely and comfortably spicy shrimp in tomato sauce. Also had a cheese and spinach enchilada. Spinach one was a bit too salty but they quickly offered to make it right or take it off the bill which was nice. If in the area we will visit again.

Authentic Mexican food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Affordable compare to similar places. Their drinks are excellent.

After reading the reviews, of which were all favorable, I decided to give them a try, and I ordered the Tacos Chaparral, and for my wife 2 steak 🌮s to go, and the food was good but 🧂ty as the ocean. No complimentary sour cream was provided, which would've cut the salt just a little. I battle with high blood pressure, and after eating just one out of the 3 🌮s, I've been chasing it down with bottles of 💧 to hopefully flush out all the 🧂. I'm not sure if I'll be back, but based on the reviews, maybe a 2nd visit is possible in the future. Perhaps I caught them on an off night or something. I feel like I wasted my hard earned $40. Life goes on! #oneunhappyvet on Veterans Day, and a not so great or impressionable first-time experience. 😔

Stopped on our way out of Chicago. Food was amazing! Staff were awesome, our waitress, maybe Cindy? She was on our beverages before we had to ask. I asked for recommendations, she named a few and I asked her to pick her favorite. I am glad she did she picked the Bistek Chaparral. Best Mexican meal I have had hands down. There was an awesome live band too. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Customer service was cool until it wasn’t. We had an issue with communication and made it clear that we weren’t really upset about it and as far as I knew the cashier knew that. Guess not though since she decided to change her demeanor. The manager was literally no help because of course he wouldn’t be, food wise it was okay atmosphere dirty. Issue wasn’t resolved either we basically paid for little to no help of service.

Buffalo wild wings you have to do better service over the phone is horrible. Also missing items from my order not even worth calling in about because if I ask for celery and no ranch and I get double ranch also the salad was horrible basically inedible filled with cabbage, which could’ve just been coleslaw. Wings are always underdone and not enough sauce.

I only dine in Monday- Friday because of J-Ro!! She is not only an amazing bartender but her customer service is the best around!! If she's not working I will definitely just get food to go. She always makes sure the food, atmosphere and drinks are to my liking. She is the greatest part of the Merrillville location!!! Stop in during the daytime to experience the atmosphere she provides.

I'm too nice and non confrontational to say this stuff out loud, but the service was bad. The bartender lady was too busy talking to the same table for minutes on end multiple times to see that I needed something, and after paying I sat around for 10 min waiting just to get a lid for some sauce, eventually just left. The breading on the chicken sandwich I ordered was gushing loads of grease into my mouth and was not crispy as well. Drink (alcohol) I got was way stronger than usual and the added ingredient has carbonation, but mine was flat. I figured I drank too much of it before I decided I didn't like it so I didn't say anything.

Our server was amazing and on top of everything! The food sucks. Very tasteless. Atmosphere is fine. Its a sports bar and grill. Why would I hope to actually be able to hear the family member sitting next to me?! Did I mention the food was awful? Haven't been to one in years because the food wasn't great. Nothing has changed there.

Been sitting here in the lobby staring at 4 empty dirty booths & a hostess who hasn’t made a move to clean them to seat us. She has offered us finally a dirty booth with her nasty bad attitude because we didn’t want to sit at the bar... we are sitting now at a dirty booth waiting for a server. So far not impressed with this location in our first 30 minutes. Server did clean our table after we sat here a bit. She’s friendly & making up for the nasty hostess tonight for sure! Ordered nachos without the chicken but they have chicken & it’s so dry & crusty :( Our server’s pleasant attitude is the whole reason this is a 3 star & not a 1. She did however charge me full price for my cheeseburger instead of $5 & thus got less of a tip. Over all, we will not be returning to this location & I don’t recommend wasting your time if you want to eat & have a good experience while watching a football game in Merrillville...

Is it even possible to mess up a quesadilla? Yeah, I guess you can if you just grill a tortilla without adding the cheese into it? At that point is it intentional? Surely they can’t be that incompetent, but I’m guessing mismanagement at that point.

Do not order from here after late hours.. my food was cold, sticking to the packaging and falling apart before I could even eat it. They always forget the sauce packets and they did not give me my Large drink with my combo. There was a piece of chicken with what almost looked like mold on it in my cheese sauce.. disgusting. I want to begin by saying the manager and the front office staff (order taker) are some of the kindest people I’ve come across in all my visits to restaurants and fast-food places. That’s the reason I gave service and atmosphere five stars — they truly went above and beyond to be polite and helpful. Now for the reason my overall rating is three stars: the food preparation was unacceptable, and it could have had very serious consequences. I’ve never had an order come out so wrong before — food made incorrectly, items missing, and even things I never ordered showing up in the bag. Normally, that’s just an inconvenience, but in this case, it became a safety issue. On my order, it was clearly written no tomatoes. My wife has a severe, life-threatening tomato allergy. When she got home, I began sorting through the food and discovered tomatoes not only on my meal but also on hers. If I hadn’t checked before she ate, it could have been a medical emergency. That alone is alarming. I immediately brought everything back. The manager and the front counter staff handled the situation professionally and with compassion. The manager personally instructed the kitchen to remake everything with no tomatoes, clearly telling them in person, not just relying on the order screen. When the food was finished, the manager and I looked it over at the counter. From the outside, it appeared correct, so I took it home trusting the issue was resolved. However, when I got home and went through the food again, I discovered that my wife’s order had finally been made correctly — but mine was not. My food was still covered with tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and other ingredients I did not ask for. After two attempts and a direct warning about a severe food allergy, this level of carelessness is completely unacceptable. This isn’t just about an order being wrong. It’s about the lack of attention to detail that could put someone’s health, even their life, at risk. Allergies are not preferences. They are medical conditions, and when restaurants don’t take them seriously, it creates a dangerous situation for families like mine. I truly appreciate the kindness of the manager and staff, but the kitchen staff needs immediate improvement in how they read, understand, and follow orders — especially those with clear allergy notes. This is not just a matter of customer satisfaction; it’s a matter of safety. Until I can be confident that orders will be taken seriously and prepared correctly, I cannot recommend this location despite the excellent front-of-house staff.

If I could give them a zero I would. Everytime I have gone thru their drive thru they get the order wrong. Yesterday in particular I ordered 2 cheesy bean and rice burritos for my daughter and they charge me for 2 chili burritos. I got so far down the road to hear my daughter say that it did not taste right. So I bring the receipt in to tell them that I didn't order the chili burritos but cheesy bean and rice burritos and they make the food but I notice that there is a price difference also. So the lady hands me $2 in cash and says we are even. Those must be pretty expensive burritos as I have never seen 2 cheesy bean and rice buritos come out to $4.40 after I deduct the $2 she gave me. By far the worst Taco Bell in the area. If you don't care about getting ripped off and your food made wrong then definetely go to this Taco Bell as they are notiorus for doing just that.

They gave us the wrong bag and took it back... You should never take a bag of food back after you have handed it into a vehicle. My bill was 37.78 and they would not take a $50 because... "I don't have change for that" and there's a pack of spilt nails all over the parking lot. My food was good though.

I ordered 5 things. 4 out of the 5 things I ordered were incorrect. They automatically upsold me on chicken instead of the beef as well. Once I got to work & checked the receipt I was upset & attempted to call the restaurant at least 10x. Let me let u know NO ONE ever answers this phone. So, I contacted corporate customer service. They took a formal complaint & said someone from that location would get back to me via phone or email by a certain date. That never happened. I don't like being overcharged for an order that was completely messed up. I know this is fast food but at the end of the day it's still a job. Do better...

Very rude people working here. Asking for sauce and didn’t get any. Waited for a my food for about ten minutes. (Yes I check they were not busy at all at this point of day. 1:28pm) sighing when I was about to order my lunch. Two car pulled off because of the wait. My client and I will not be back.

I'm not the complaining type of person, I know how stressful the service industry is. However the service was beyond rude. Every time I would order an item the cashier would say is that it? Like I was inconveniencing her, missing plenty of opportunities to upsell a drink dessert or anything. I ordered a fish sandwich with tartar sauce on the side and was told we don't have anything to put tartar sauce in you can have it on the sandwich or not at all.when I got to the window to pay, I couldn't find my card, which seemed to aggravate the cashier. She puts my drink out the window and releases it before I fully have it in my hand, luckily I caught it. I included photos of my food. I've never had pickles on fish, the lettuce is garbage. Mayonnaise is just slapped on both sides of the buns of the chicken sandwich.Then I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no mustard, they put mustard on it. Instead of correcting it they drowned it with ketchup. I would understand if it was busy but they only had 4 guests. Do better your paying guests deserve better.🤬

Food took way too long, they forgot about my order multiple times. Everyone was friendly except the manager, who definitely was on a power trip on her employees and snippy with other customers as well. Tables and floors in lobby were dirty.

Employees, including the manager, were busy on their phones instead of engaging with me, the customer. I had to ask multiple times for zesty sauce, which they still forgot, forcing me to return to the restaurant and ask again because the employees (including the manager) were more interested in their phones. The bathrooms were disgusting, with filth everywhere, and it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or restocked in days.Kudos to the one cook/worker who was actually working. I strongly recommend the owner review these issues, address staff training on customer service, and ensure proper maintenance of the facilities to improve the overall experience.

Worst service I have EVER had. Sat in line behind 1 car for 10 minutes before it was my turn to order. Once I got to the ordering microphone it was another ten minutes before someone took my order. Once that finally happened i knew I was in trouble because the car I sat behind for 10 minutes was still at the window. Sat there for another 15 minutes while they got her order together which was a small bag of food so it was not a huge order. Once I got to the window I thought things would go a little quicker, all I ordered was a Whopper Jr. I was wrong. I watched the employees walk around without a care in the world. Zero urgency. There was no one else in the place and no one else in line. 20 minutes later I got the crappiest hamburger of my life. I am furious. This was my lunch hour and I was gone for over an hour. Unacceptable!! DO BETTER BURGER KING!

Came here after work to pick something up to eat and I ended up waiting 40 minutes for my food. It turns out they forgot to make my order, and even lied to me and told me “we just started making those” and then told me to pull up and wait. I saw everyone in line behind me get their food until there was nobody left in line, multiple times. When one of the employees came out to hand someone else their food, he saw me and asked me what I was waiting on, and I told him. He went inside for about 5 minutes, came back, and asked what my order was. What was wrong with this establishment? It’s by far the worst fast food place I have ever been to in my life. I

I am editing my review, because what kind of jerk leaves a one star review just because a place closed 12 minutes early!? Things happen. I don’t know anything about why they closed early. Maybe someone had an emergency. Who knows? What I do know is that I tried the barbecue brisket whopper the next day at a different Burger King, so everything worked out and it was even better than I expected!

Food was good and hot. But the service was horrible. My wife asked for a pop behind the counter due to the pop machine in front having no ice with warm pop. The cashier looked at my wife and said it's the same pop. She gave her a cup of ice and walked away with an attitude. I'm sorry your young and was asked to do your job. SMH... Won't be back to this location.

My food was good, my service was not. The young lady we had was more attentive to her other customers than us. She finally sent another server, Tim to bring our bill he was very nice and helpful, I told him I wish he had been our server the whole time.

The waitress was very polite and friendly got our order pretty quick we got our appetizer quick which was good then over an hour later 3 of the 4 dishes came out about 7 mins later my meal came which a picture will be with it. I've run 2 different kitchens, and the cooks' time management is horrible, and I'm not expecting 5 stars, but come on, at least try. I will say the management did try to help and do their best. One is supposed to be a sweet potato, and the other is the is the Texas grub, which is void of all flavor even smothered with A1.

1st Timers and 1st Impressions are everything!! The server was on her game, the food was perfect and delicious and the place was clean and inviting. Everything was enjoyable and we will be back for sure.

This was the BEST meal I had at a restaurant in the past few months during my travels! The buns were hot and fresh; served with an apple cinnamon butter. The pork chop was grilled to perfection. The sweet potato was savory. The service was above par. I can't say enough about this place!!! I'll definitely come back during a visit to Indiana.

I absolutely enjoy everything at this location. I had the shrimp fajitas. It was so tasteful and not overcooked like it can be at most Mexican restaurants. The drinks were great as well!

Wonderful place for lunch or dinner, service is pretty fast. The place is pretty similar to Texas Roadhouse but compared to that it was unexpectedly really good. Foods are served pretty fast, and quite delicious in comparison to same dishes in Texas Roadhouse. I will definitely come here again, to try some dishes! Extremely satisfied for the price.

This was an amazing cat cafe and a must see for anyone visiting the area! They have a wonderful space available for the kitties and so much amazing merchandise for purchase. Their food is made fresh and they have a full service coffee bar. I tried their matcha oat latte which was vegan. There is even a lobby area upstairs with additional seating and games. Staff was super welcoming and friendly.

The staff were so helpful with choosing the perfect drink from the cafe. My iced coffee was amazing!! We spent an hour with the cats in the lounge area and truly enjoyed the experience. Playing and loving on the sweet kitties was perfect. Can’t wait to visit again!

I've been twice and I always enjoyed the drinks! The chai and other teas were good. The cats are so cute but when are they not? The staff is friendly and chatty, it smells good and looks clean. The cat merch is also is a wide variety!

What a wonderful place full of CATTITUDE! Lovely gift shop with yummy snacks and drinks. A cat room with adorable cats. I absolutely love the seating and lounge area upstairs, and you can view the cat room from up there.

The cats are amazing and it was delightful meeting them, their caretaker was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the cats’ habits and personalities. You can tell she deeply cares about her work. The coffee itself was pretty good and was served quick to me upstairs where there’s windows that look into the cat room from above, so it made for a very cozy experience

Absolutely the best DQ in NW Indiana! The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable! Customer service, they need to teach every business on how it’s done! Ordered a cake and pup cups for a Dog party, living 30 minutes away from the location! Everything was PERFECT! People who had the cake and said I cannot believe it from Dairy Queen (They had bad experience with other locations). I was referred by a friend. The experience was amazing, the cake was amazing, the staff was amazing! I would give to 100 stars if I could! Thank you so much! Made the party perfect!

This is a very nice place and friendly staff. The only thing I don't like is they discontinued my salted caramel truffle blizzard. 😔 But the place itself and the employees are very good! There is not a long wait, I went through the drive-thru and was in and out.

I went here because the other one near me didn't have the churro dip.. I ordered a large dipped cone ... I asked the kid if they take the extra ice cream home they don't give to customers cuz this was the smallest "large cone" I ever got in my life .. then this kid tried to tell me it's by weight !!!! Needless to say I'll go to hobart next time ... I literally feel robbed... the plastic lid is taller then my ice cream on my large cone!

From The Ease of Booking, Beautiful Atmosphere and Flower Arrangements we enjoyed ourselves so much. We was charged for things we didn’t know had an additional price to it for example when you order the hot tea, they give you a nice huge selection to choose from and we wasn’t aware that you can only pick one tea packet. We also wasn’t aware there was an extra charge for a scone that said on the menu it was included with entree purchase. It’s no big deal we just would have wanted to know these things upfront. Overall it was a great experience and we recommend you give them a try. One last thing the tea selection wasn’t unique and more natural herbed based as we expected. They use some brands you can get at your local store.

My mother-in-law and I went for lunch yesterday and we could not be more satisfied and happy. We did make a reservation the day before for 11:15 am. and were seated within 7 minutes. The ambiance is beautiful and true to a tea room. We were welcomed by a hostess, and our table had clean, pressed white linens along with beautiful teacups as well as a scone and a piece of pumpkin bread...delicious. Our server came immediately with hot water and then tea. They had a wonderful selection of teas. The menu was just perfect... not large but just enough to tickle your fancy. I chose the Chateau Earl Grey and my mom in law the Metropolitan. Both were delicious and came with a side salad. We were full and took our desserts home. Thank you for making our celebration of becoming a grandma and great grandma one to remember. I recommend the Tea Room over and over again and will be back again! Keep up the great work! An extra 5 stars to our server, who was sweet, informative, and just super nice!

I came in to grab some flowers for my mom who just lost her dad and they were so sweet and helpful. They really listened to me and put together a beautiful breathtaking bouquet of flowers that she loved so much. The place sells so many cute items that you won’t find at just anywhere. We went during the Christmas season and it was amazing. From the delicious food to the decorations throughout the entire building. Although it was very crowded the wait staff was kind and patient with everyone. I plan on taking my sister there for her birthday. She's never been before but I know she'll love it. It's such a unique place to sit an enjoy a delicious lunch and wonderful conversation with a friend or loved one. I highly recommend this wonderful little escape. I hope to have or girl group and work group go too. I tried to order flowers once but it was on a Monday and they were closed. I'll try again as the arrangements I've seen are beautiful and unusual. We had fun, waiter threw a knife at me and gave me my extra soup to go. Poured a glass of water in my husbands drink and we got a brand-new one. Band is playing now. Awesome. Fun place to go with friends.

Overcharged us!! My husband and I went on Saturday to the restaurant and the comedy club, and they ended up overcharging us. We've been calling them since Sunday and the are just giving us the run around. Telling us "yes we see you were overcharged," and "the manager will call you." And nothing, nobody has called us, so we have been calling them everyday and it's always the same response. 😡 And we heard from other people that it happens quite often.😡😡

I love this place. My husband and I go here when we want a cocktail, good food, and live music. They have all kinds of bands and the bartenders are great!

She was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect from start to finish. I ordered Dana’s Chicken, and it was cooked to absolute perfection…flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything from the food to the service exceeded my expectations, and it’s clear that the staff truly cares about providing a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Natalie again. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the dish!

Decided to stop for a little lunch. I normally order the drunken shrimp, but my waiter Brennan suggested I try the crunchy shrimp. They were amazing, definitely a better choice! Brennan was the best waiter I've had in a very long time. Absolutely delightful and very attentive

Our daughter hosted a baby shower for her sister at Cooper’s Hawk. I had been there before, but not in their party room. Our host/waitress was Marley. She matched our daughter’s energy. The tables came with silverware setup, two long tables with table linen, a drink, and a dessert. Our youngest went all out for her sister. She turned the room into a beautiful ambiance, with a perfect color scheme. She #didthedangthing!! Marley was everything we could ask for. She kept checking in our group, we asked for little things, and she had NO PROBLEM providing those things, and you know it can get irritating having people continuously ask for things. Mommy to Be 🥰 loves the egg rolls, and she had plenty of them. If you are looking for a small and quant place to host a get together, check them out. I have included a before and after. We were so happy with the look and service!!!

We had another wonderful dinner at Cooper’s Hawk. Bri G. was our server and she was amazing. Always attentive and she always has great suggestions. We love Val and Bri at this location. Great service every time! We had the filet, potstickers, flourless chocolate torte. So yummy! The strawberry rhubarb spritz and the dark chocolate martini were also excellent. Thank you for another wonderful meal and great experience.

Rachel W. was are waitress and from the time she came over to greet us until the time we left, she was absolutely amazing! Her upbeat and sweet personality made are special evening outstanding. I would recommend if you are going to the Merrillville location to ask for Rachel! We will definitely be going back and asking for her.

We have always liked this place. Wide selection on menu for every need and an outstanding selection of wines. However what made it extra special today was our ser er Mike. What a pleasant young gentleman with punctilious manners. Very much in tune with the customers. It was a pleasure learning a little bit about his values and priorities. In short he is a real thing in these unreal times. This place never disappoints. Had another pleasant lunch experience. Our server Kim remembered us from the last visit including dietary restrictions my wife has. Very impressive. She even recalled the table we sat at the last time. Needless to say the food was usual par excellence. Lobster bisque was one of the best with bits of seafood and drunken shrimp was heavenly. Never had bad service here and food is always good.

The beverage was mixed as expected, The bean and ham soup was decent, the mushroom caps very good. The shrimp dejonghe was probably prepared and served as intended and was tasty enough, I just didn’t care for its excessive richness. The menu itself lacks creativity and variety unless you are ISO what they serve. My server for the evening was Sam, he was very pleasant and attentive.

The food was fantastic. Even the bread they served was delicious. The food portions were spot on and came out hot even with a large party. The service was really quick too.

We were in town due to a death in the family and decided to have dinner here. We were not disappointed, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.

Yesterday, on April 11th, Tuesday, I had the pleasure of dining at Gino's steakhouse for lunch. As I perused the menu, I couldn't help but notice that the lunch selection seemed a bit limited. I was unsure of what the dinner menu had to offer, but the offerings that were available for lunch were quite broad, ranging from hamburgers to steak, seafood, salads, and soups. What stood out to me, however, were the complimentary green peppers that were served in oil. They had a subtle sweetness to them that added a unique flavor to my meal. Additionally, I appreciated the complimentary bread and butter, which was a nice touch. For my lunch, I opted for the chicken Caesar salad, which was really delicious. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I also decided to try the bacon cheeseburger, which was incredibly fresh. The bacon seemed to be cooked right before being placed on the burger, and the bun was soft and fluffy. However, I did request my burger to be cooked to medium temperature, but unfortunately, it was closer to being well done, with no hint of pink. On the side, I had the real potato fries, which were just as good as the ones from Five Guys, if not better. They were thicker and had a great texture, indicating that they were not frozen but freshly made. Despite the fact that the restaurant seemed to be short-staffed, and there was a long wait for our appetizers and meal, the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, I had a great experience at Gino's steakhouse, and I would definitely return for another meal. And just to be clear, my intention to return is not a threat, but rather a testament to the quality of the food and the dining experience.

This is a very nice Pizza and Bar food restaurant. We had a very nice waiter. It was very clean on the inside and the service was fast. They had a good selection of Gluten Sensitive meals. The cauliflower crust pizza was very tasty. We also had Nathan Crust pepperoni pizza that the guys really enjoyed. This will be one to keep on our list to visit again!

First the good, the burger was DELICIOUS. It was a cheddar burger with a garlic aioli. It was juicy and delicious. The ok, we ordered a small boneless wings. They were nothing special, but the sweet smoky sauce was very good. Now the bad. I ordered the Detroit Deep Dish pepperoni. There was very little sauce and it was all in the middle (very few pepperoni pie es as well). The crust was good, but there was an old oil taste on 1/2 of it. Overall I would NOT get the pizza again.

Great jalapeño pretzels, very friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere. We ordered the Chicago 7 pan pizza, large. It comes with 8 slices and has a variety of ingredients. I don't eat pork, so they did a half and half for me. I tried the chicken on my side of the pizza. The crust has a nice crunch on outside and soft on inside. You can taste a hint of buttering. There wasn't enough sauce in my opinion. It was sweet from what I did taste. I was not fond of the mozzarella they used. I think it wasn't gooey enough. I was surprised our pizza didn't take long to serve, and it wasn't hot, but warm when we got it. Weird. I'm used to Eduardos and Giordanos. Their pizzas come out piping hot and you can feel the heat on the pizza itself. This wasn't like that. I would come here again because the service was great and the atmosphere is great for a group or a date. Pizza was a 3 out of 5. Little better than pizza hut, but not as good as the two I mentioned above. We enjoyed ourselves though.

Joe took great care of us at the bar! There were so many selections of beers to choose from and Joe made me a bloody Mary, boy was it yummy and filling! Just ck out the pictures. The burger is to die for! And not to mention the pizza is pretty delicious too!!

Food is usually good. Huge tap selection. Today got two pizzas with garlic and two beers. The pizza was covered in raw garlic. They did reach out and offer a refund which I appreciated. Went back to use the refund. Got chicken tenders. Black burned, dry, full of grease and no fries. That’s it for me. Just overall bad. Really nice bartender though.

The server, Amber, wasn't warm... At-times she could be perceived as even rude to us. Example: Prior to ordering, my partner asked if the spice could be removed from the fried pickles appetizer. The server replied, "No. It comes with it." Was the server implying the food was frozen? That the spice came with/on the frozen product? Regardless, we found her statement to be untrue as once the appetizer was presented to us, the spice appeared to be sprinkled on post-cooking. The Pepsi was flat. The sweet tea was better, but certainly not award-winning. Both my partner and I ordered calzones for our entree, and they turned out to be the highlight of our dining experience at Old Chicago. Would I return? Possibly, but it wouldn't be my first choice for dinner. There needs to be some changes... I'd ask for a different server if seated at their table again.

I would say this is a gimmick-y place to go - but also decent for a large group and entertaining if you have never been. The atmosphere in here is very unique - you even cross over a bridge over a Koi pond when you go into the main restaurant. Prepare yourself for a TON of food. You should NOT go hungry. The prices HAVE increased through the years, therefore it's NOT cheap. I would pass on the cocktails - they are pretty watered down and fancy, but expensive. Also - appetizers are decent, but you already receive SO MUCH FOOD with your meal - don't overdo it...unless you MUST have that sushi! The food again is prepared LIVE in front of you on an extremely HOT grill and the chefs are entertaining but decent enough to cook your steak how you like it. The wait staff is also pretty attentive and everytime we would finish the last drop of our soda, another one replaced it. So that was cool. Definitely try if you like hibachi style food and entertainment - don't be shy - nothing to embarrass you here. Enjoy the food - prepare to bring some home!

My son got the salmon and shrimp with white rice, and a side salad. He was very pleased. I got the shrimp and ribeye, I also got a salad, and white rice with it. I gave my son my rice. The ribeye was a little tough, all in all everything was really good. It was pretty cool watching them cook for you

We were a group of 3. They sat us right away, it was busy so we had to wait a little while for a chef to get to us. We all ordered the Steak and chicken, which comes with vegetable and noodles, rice or fried rice and 3 dipping sauces. I got noodles, and the other 2 ordered vegetable fried rice. Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious. We were served a bowl of soup and side salad as well. It was my first time here and a really fun experience to watch your food being cooked right in front of you. You get so much food,it's a huge heaping plate of food. I had a full to go container of food to take home.

We took our kids out for a treat. They like the show. We've never been to this location. The food was fine, but a little disappointing for filet. My big problem... After we've finished dining finishing up to leave, some employee, not our server or chef, randomly sneaks up on my 5 year old and starts tickling him on his ribs. What the heck!? Under what circumstances does a grown man put his hands on a little kid unannounced? We had zero interaction with this individual. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Quite literally the best chicken fried rice I’ve ever had. Shrimp fried rice was good but not close to the chicken. Philly roll was good (abnormally large). Shrimp tempura roll was good but very different than traditional. Gyoza was average to above average. Get the chicken fried rice. 🤯

I ordered calamari for the appetizer and the ribeye and shrimp combination entree and ordered kids meals for my children who also had steak. I was full by the time my fried rice was cooked. Out of the 20 times I have been here... I've only been disappointed once, and it was just over packed with people that day... had to wait for seating. Otherwise I am always happy with selection and the food!!! So I continue to come here to eat!!!

Atmosphere was great. Everyone greeted me. Sushi was above the normal. The buffet did not match up to the hype. It's only 1200 and most of the food is cold. Eggdrop soup,dumping, sweet&sour chicken, noodles and the green beans were all cold. Not a great experience 😕.

Our group of 9 recently had an amazing experience at BC Osaka! The sushi was absolutely incredible - everyone raved about it. We were blown away by the huge variety of fresh salads, desserts, and authentic Japanese dishes. The seafood was also top-notch. We were so impressed when they happily prepared a special dish for us that wasn't even on the buffet menu. It came out hot and fresh, and it was delicious! Our waitress was fantastic and always made sure our drinks were full. Overall, we had an unforgettable dining experience and would highly recommend BC Osaka to anyone looking for a fantastic sushi & authentic Japanese buffet!

I would highly recommend this place, it seems unlikely for me because I don't eat red meat I don't eat many kinds of seafood I also don't eat pork or anything raw. Great vegetarian selection. They cooked my raw chicken in front of me, cleaning the grill and making sure no ted meat or pork was near it. The tables were clean, the bathroom was clean, peeked in the kitchen. Clean. I will go again! Very well priced as well.

Tried this place for the first time and I was honestly surprised of the quality of the food. I loved the large variety of sushi to choose from. They even had a sushi roll I've never seen before, it was a deep fried sushi roll. I personally recommend it to any sushi lovers.

I had never been in or even knew about Bob Evans. My wife made me come. I had breakfast. Started off with a very friendly and helpful hostess. Then a server took our order. Even better than the hostess and that's saying something. Tabitha took our order, helped me decide by giving great suggestions. Excellent choices. I ended up with a sausage biscuit with home fries, egg and gravy. It was good. Cooked just right. And did I tell you that I felt like home. I wish there was a Bob Evans in my state.

Came in today for breakfast, and unfortunately, I left disappointed. Let’s start with the potatoes: they tasted like they’d been fried in old oil and were still undercooked. No seasoning to speak of. The sausage? Crunchy—not in a crispy way, but more like charcoal. The bacon was so tough I could’ve mistaken it for venison jerky. And then there was the gravy. It just tasted... off. It had a strange gray color and was so thick I could probably use it as drywall compound. Not exactly appetizing. Originally, I was going to give 3 stars. While the food missed the mark, the service was quick and the staff were friendly—that counts for something. But what made me drop a stars was the price: $14.35 before tip for a meal like this!? For that kind of money, I at least expect the food to be properly cooked. Overall, just a disappointing experience. There are always alternatives—some better, some cheaper, and many more consistent P.S. I only touched 5 potatoes. Thats the amount that came with the plate.

My son and I visited Bob Evans today, and I have to say it was an amazing experience! I honestly don’t understand why this location has so many bad reviews. The service was excellent, and I really loved the welcoming environment. This was our first time visiting, and since we’re from out of town, we drove quite a distance—but it was absolutely worth it. We would gladly make the drive again!

We came every Saturday in 2016-2017 5 stars then. This place has went downhill. We were seated fast however the table was still wet and the hostess put the menus on the wet table. I asked for napkins to dry off the table myself but never received them. I had to go get new dry menus and napkins to dry the table myself. Waitress never introduced herself. The young couple at the table behind us came in well after she took our order but somehow they received their order about 10 minutes before we received our meals. I could go on about the horrible service but I won’t. Now the food: horrible. The potatoes were burnt so I asked for them to be replaced they came out burnt again. Pancakes were hard, eggs were cold, sausage was undercooked, and bacon was hard and overcooked. Waitress gave our bill/check 5 minutes after she gave us our meals. We waited by the register for 15 minutes to pay before anyone came over. No the place was not busy. Staff was just standing around. Will never return to this location.

I love Bob Evans restaurants to begin with. This was a nice establishment. Clean, friendly and efficient staff, and the food was great. I also didn't have to wait very long for my food to reach the table. My server was super friendly and good at her job.

Went around 1130 waited for 20mins before being seated. Order our food about 5min after being seated and 40 minutes later still no food. We were not the only table waiting for food several other tables who were seated 15min before us still never received their food. Ended up leaving

Fun sports bar. They have a variety of foods and specialty drinks, if you don't drink beer. Multiple sports games on the TV. There is an outdoor patio as well. Our waitress was nice and checked on us multiple times. Lots of sports decor throughout the bar. Fun place to watch a game.

Atmosphere was good, that’s pretty much it. Really wanted to like it but every thing we ate had NO seasoning. Bland burger, fries, pizza(overly sauced) chicken sandwich (dry) all extremely bland. One person in our group wanted another drink but was never asked if he wanted a refill… on a better note, the drinks were good & loaded. Won’t be back.

Jellyfish is my favorite breakfast spot as someone who lives on the boarder of Northwest Indiana. The food is great, always hits the spot. The atmosphere is always pleasant. The staff is always warm and welcoming no matter the day. Drinks are made properly, NEVER too much juice when mixed with an adult beverage, definitely a good balance. Love this place!

The decor is fun and the place has a fun, family friendly atmosphere. The staff is nice and efficient, and the food is pretty good. My hubby and I stopped here for breakfast on our way back to Illinois after a wedding. I would definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area.

I went early not to pack nice place had the strawberry mamosa the fried chicken sandwich breakfast sandwich that come with bacon and fries egg on it choice of Toto’s fries and something else. The chicken was tender but they need to change their oil soon

All the food was pre-cooked. The bacon was so overcooked. The flavor had been cooked out of it. The crêpes were horrible. Shrimps were grits with grits was nasty. All you taste was the nastiest of the shrimp propose to tasting shrimp. Worst experience I ever had at jellies.

Great experience, a diamond in the rough! Great hospitality and great food! The green tea w/ cardamom had the perfect balance of taste and strength. The lentil soup was a bonus! Coming from NYC I have a high standard and man did this hit the spot! The ambiance was also quite calm, maybe a bit a soft Mediterranean music playing in the background would help (wouldn't hurt to explore?) Highly recommended!

I eat at Roxana's regularly. It is truly a gem, hidden in plain sight. The family who owns it is kind. Service is good, albeit slow at times. The food is delicious and the prices are totally reasonable. It's also a great place to eat on a no- or low-carb diet because you can skip the rice and bread and still feel totally satisfied eating the protein and vegetables. The lamb is INCREDIBLE! Get your spinach on the side if you order the lamb and spinach so you get more lamb. They have an all-you-can-eat buffet on Wednesdays.

Delicious food!! Lamb was great!! Hummus was great!! And make sure you try the rice with carrots and raisins!! That was amazing!! Also has a big selection of sandwiches and hamburgers and even tacos.!! Try the skewered meat dishes!!

Wholesome organic food. The Adobo chicken is fantastic. All the dishes are very tasteful and well prepared. The service is great too! They keep the restaurant clean and inviting. The outside of the building is hard to miss, even though it's on 30. We drove past it accidentally and had to pull a u turn.

We stopped in after Church and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The roasted Greek Chicken was moist, lemony, and perfectly seasoned. The Pork Souvlaki Kebob was excellent in flavor and perfectly cooked. The gravy on the open faced Turkey was bad to be honest, maybe out of a jar? The Greek lemon soup was ok, but too much corn starch made it more like pudding. I recommend this diner for home cooked Greek food. The service was fast and our waitress was very nice.

Prices have damn near doubled since I first started coming here 10 years ago. I guess that was unavoidable. Service is good, not sure if it's the same cook though. 10 years ago, they would've gotten 5 stars from me. Now, it's just another decent place to sit down and eat. Nothing special.

I've been here before and would've given them a 3 but this time I enjoyed my food thoroughly. The greek pork chop was amazing. The flavor made me want to vome back for more. My service was still not the best this time or the last time I came here. I waited for a server for so long that I had to tell them hostess. Then she came and wasn't very friendly.

This was my to go place for breakfast and occasionally dinner but now that is over. While preparing my oatmeal to be eaten, I saw something in it. So I isolated from the oatmeal by moving it to the side of the bowl and it was a bug. I called the waitress over and she took it to the kitchen. I was told “it was an earwig” by one of the waitresses. That’s a problem!! Needless to say, I will not be bringing my children back to this restaurant!

I’ve been coming here for years, the food is mediocre. The soup and saganaki are the only things worth getting, in my opinion. I’ve had one waitress, Carol, a few times and if you come in even 2 hours before close she rushes you out. Yesterday she grabbed my friend’s food with her bare hands and threw it in a box urging us to pay and leave. They weren’t closing for another 50 minutes and we were being quiet and polite. We had been there for awhile as my friend was recovering from oral surgery and needed to eat slower, but we were the only ones in the dining room area. I was so embarrassed that I brought my friend here, the service was bad, AND she had to toss her leftovers. After paying, the waitress was clearing off the booth and made it clear she was upset we were coming back to the booth. She asked us why we were back, because she wanted to leave, and I was only returning to leave cash on the table for her. I’ve always thought this place is a comfort spot, but if this waitress serves me, my friends, or family it always seems like an uncomfortable and rushed experience. It just has started to feel like a hit or miss experience depending on the waitress.

This place is always clean, and their bathrooms are taken care of. Their food is pretty much always very good, though some things can be a bit pricy. Their lemon rice soup is never ever anything other than perfect. All of the staff here are always so nice, patient, and personable; they are truly the main reason I come here over other places. They also treat their mail carriers with so much respect and I wish all businesses were half as great as Maxims is. 10/10

Stopped for late lunch, Cashier was busy cashing out, called for owner to help. He couldn't find us a table in the half empty place. So he went back to the bar. We're standing there waiting for 10 mins, watching the bus boy run around doing everything. 2 waitresses stood next to us yapping. That's when I noticed the brown stains on the ceiling, that appeared to be dripping, and huge cracks in everything chair. What happened to this place? We walked out.

Classic sit down Mexican food place. Very clean, service was good, some of the better pastor tacos I've had in a while. Pricing was fair. Borderline irresponsible with their chips and salsa... There was a server waiting in the wings with a fresh basket of chips and a salsa refill ready to go any time we were getting low. I don't need three baskets of chips before dinner, but if they're there, I'm gonna eat them.

We have been going to the Valparaiso and Chesterton locations in the past and this Merrillville location was just as good. I believe they have 1 other in Munster area which we have not checked out yet. We went on a weekday for lunch, shortly after they opened and there was no wait before we were seated. Our waiter came to get our drink orders shortly after we sat. Overall the time between our order taken and getting our food was under 20 minutes. They were not full but enough customers, yet they had adequate wait staff so our orders were delivered to table timely. We were starved when we got there, so we appreciated that. Over-all customer service was good. The food was consistent with what we expected from their other locations. It was well seasoned, presentation was great and the portions were generous. I like it when they incorporate serving food in unique bowls instead of the usual boring plates. To me that means, the food will not be bland so maybe that helps. All the little things, adds up. They have both regular tables and some booths, cozy and comfortable. They had music playing in the background but not too loud that you cant have a good conversation. The price was fair for what you get. We ordered an appetizer and 2 main entrees with beverages and no dessert, our bill came to $75. We had enough left overs for another meal at home, so factoring that in, made the meal a deal. Menu selection typical of most Mexican restaurants. I would classify this place as above average and is one of our favorites in North West Indiana to go out and have a meal. The restaurant is attached to other businesses in a small strip so they share parking spaces, enough during the day we visited. It is right off I-30. The inside decor was okay, nothing extraordinary. The entire facility was kept clean albeit the menus were a little sticky, but that might be a bit nit-picky for some, definitely not enough to knock down a star rating. I believe they deserve 5 stars all day long, for as hard as their staff work to elevate the customer experience. As always, staff can most times, make or break a business especially in areas of service delivery.

The menu has changed. The service was so bad. Slow. Only 6 tables were occupied so it wasnt like they were short handed. Tea glass was empty without an offer for a refill the entire meal. Wait staff was standing around socializing. Corn shells holding my Mahi Mahi tacos were soggy and fell apart when i picked them up. I have never been so disappointed with this restraunt in all the times ive been there. Took an additional 20 minutes just to get a box for my food.

Being that I hadn’t been in Fridays for years, I was really excited about going. We waited about 8 minutes before someone came out the back to seat us. A customer sitting at the bar went to the kitchen doors and yelled out that we were there to notify the waitress that we were there. The waitress was very nice but the table and menu was sticky, a few flies were in the establishment and a few dead ones were on the widow seal. And I know the dead flies had been there a while because dust had settled on them and the window area. The chicken strips were pretty good, my fries were slightly cold and the coleslaw was not good at all. It really killed all and any great memories I had about Fridays. I was really disappointed. But the waitress was super sweet. My husband didn’t care for his food either. He ordered the pick 3 appetizers. Even though the strips were okay, it wasn’t worth the price.

Firstly, there was a server named Bry we had. It started off nice but then it took a while to get 1 soup to come. (Everyone else we came before got theirs before us.) The words "since you didn't bring my soup I don't think I want it anymore it's been too long" ( sternly but not rude at all.)were said since it did take a minute and she didnt come by to let us know it would be a minute or anything. Then, it came to my aunt unhot, she was going to eat it since they brought it anyways but it wasn't hot.. "Well you should have told the other server" Bry then leaves and kept avoiding our table after and never got us our check. She left it to another server and one being trained after trying to get her attention multiple times. Luckily those two were nice and quick with their service. Other than that, the cooks do pretty well. As well as they can. My burger was good. My aunts burger was good and my other aunts fish and chips came out well. I do think the place needs to be remodeled for sure. Not the cleanest. Cups were dirty. Every single cup they brought us were not clean. And on top of that, it took them a while to bring us our actual drinks besides when they first brought out the water.

I should’ve known something would go wrong once I arrived and seen the sign on the door saying burgers were not being sold at this time. I experienced a few things during this visit. While the appetizers didn’t take long to receive, we waited a long time for saucers. One of my mozzarella sticks didn’t have ANY CHEESE in it, hardly any cheese pull when were finally able to eat. Who orders mozzarella sticks and expect NO PULL. Ridiculous. I wasn’t going to wait for fresh ones. My order came back with honey mustard sauce instead of barbecue sauce per my request. It then took a few employees to flag down to get the right sauce. One of the plates had stickers that were under the cooked and plated food as if it was cooked in the broccoli. Overall the food was okay, could’ve been better. Same for the waitress. It’ll take an invitation under certain circumstances for me to return. For the price of these meals there should be no room for error. I paid a pretty penny because we were celebrating my daughter’s graduation.

Very upset that I just ordered almost $70 worth of food from here tonight through delivery and they gave me the wrong type of ribs for my half rack which the receipt clearly says whiskey glazed ribs. I received some type of spicy ribs which I don’t eat and when I contacted Grubhub with the issue they refused to refund me for something I did not order! I’m taking a hit for the store that messed my order up. Very disappointing and has ruined my experience for this Fridays restaurant. I tried calling the restaurant and the lady transferred me directly to the restaurant where the phone just hung up. I called back and pressed 3 as she stated to do and the phone just rang and rang. Very disappointing and now I have food I can’t eat. Please take the time to read the kitchen orders correctly as everyone doesn’t eat spicy food. Now I just wasted $10 with this place and no one will help me make it right. Update: I received an email stating that someone would be in touch with my but no one has reached out to me over their mistake of the wrong type of ribs being served to me that I was unable to eat. Very disappointing.

I have the two chicken breast with two sides one which was jasmine rice with had veggies in it and on the menu it fine specify that and the chicken breast was very thin like also I didn’t quite care too much for the whiskey bbq sauce the ribs was good

Our waitress was fantastic. But the food was just okay. I got the sauced & grilled option with the chicken breast. I got my sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because it wasn't good. I originally ordered the broccoli and the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad with my meal; straight trash. Vegetables in the salad were not fresh, all the sauce was at the bottom, and they served the Salad in a warm dish. I asked the waitress if I could change it to broccoli and it wasn't a problem. The chicken and broccoli were seasoned well. And the music was on point!!!

Food was not ok, we felt something not good in stomach later on in the day and couldn’t eat lunch. It tasted ok, but not sure what went wrong. Staff were friendly and polite and great location while we took a pit stop for gas at Costco and breakfast here on our road trip. Would not recommend this place.

The food was great and the staff was great. I just wish the staff were treated better :( I accidentally walked in on two separate occasions, in the bathroom to one waitress crying and the other chain smoking her vape with a look of despair before heading back out to the floor and I just felt it in my heart as a former waitress myself what those days were like.

Anthony was an amazing server! He was very attentive throughout our visit and kept us smiling with his fun sense of humor. I mentioned that I was the only one at the table who liked pickles, and he made sure my burger was loaded with them—such a thoughtful touch! He brought great energy to the table and made our breakfast experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Anthony if you visit!

I choose IHOP each year for my birthday because of the variety for my whole family and I, and it seems like we almost always have a great and thoughtful staff when we go! Our recent waiter let us try different refills to explore the many new drink options and the kitchen staff didn't make any mistakes on our big complicated order! This location is still my favorite soI'll see you next year (or sooner!)

I used to love IHOP but this is the last one. Generally the service in the last few IHOP restaurant visits were bad but this one was the worst of all and have decided to avoid IHOP now on. I wish them well. I hope they will be able to have good trained staff and keep a good ambience. I hope they will serve tasty food the way it used to be served in IHOP earlier. I don't want to write any specific negative comments. This review is for public awareness as genuine star rating has to reflect our experience and will prompt the owners to improve and correct. On a long road trip, usually we stick to chain restaurants hoping a similar quality and service. But that doesn't happen always.

Dining in at Chili's just isn't what it used to be. We were pleased with the food and our service. A male server, who was simple yet efficient in his care of his tables. We came on a weekday for a late lunch. But the ambiance was so blah. Employees were having sidebar conversations, diners were speaking loudly and inappropriately. Meanwhile, others were on cell phones having conversations, and others were playing videos on phones without earbuds. There was just a lot going on. I'll definitely do takeout moving forward, but won't dine in.

I ordered the pick 3 and it comes with drink, soup or salad, and a burger. I got tea, potato soup, and a bacon cheeseburger and loved the taste of everything I ordered! I did get a side of cooked mushrooms, but the fries did it for me!

We went to Chili's for lunch, and we were not impressed. We ordered a sampler type plate with southwest eggrolls, chicken strips, and fried cheese and we ordered a beef queso dip. The southwest eggrolls were great! The chicken strips and fried cheese were ok. The beef queso was awful. It was burnt so bad we couldn't eat it. It was terrible. (See photo) It was clearly different than pictured in the menu. The only thing worse than the burned cheese dip was the service. I asked for some sweetener for my iced tea and after the server made several trips to the table without it, I had to go get it myself. Food items for others in our group were also forgotten. We had to ask for the cheese dip as it was forgotten... it was probably sitting in the kitchen burning! Forget refills! Also, it took a while to get the ticket. The staff wasn't friendly, clearly need customer service training. I do not recommend this location. Ok, maybe to get the southwest egg rolls to go. Lol

Worst service I have ever experienced. Why did everyone at my table but one person get their meal? And then we have to wait 20 minutes for you to even come to the table to tell you? Make that make sense. It’s not even busy today and this is the service we are getting. They have checked on us 3 times since we got here. They gave us our drinks 20 minutes after we ordered. We ordered 3 meals. We got 2 after 40 minutes then had to wait an hour for the last one. I will never eat here again and I strongly suggest other people don’t. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. And I never write reviews so I am actually mad.

It was my neice 18th birthday. Crazy but true, this is what she wanted. She has literally never been. The manager and team were awesome. It was a wait to be seated, but the food was awesome.

I actually usually love Chili's but this one needs to get it together. The place was filthy, floor was sticky and flies buzzing around everywhere. Not coming back to this one anytime soon. A “food delivery person” messed up our order, or stole it. Hard to tell. Cleo and his staff completely took care of the entire situation. And our dinner was incredible. I was blown-away by the care they provided us. I’ll continue ordering from Chili’s! Don't let a couple bad eggs keep you from a great dinner. 100% ordering again very soon! Around the Clock - Schererville, IN Midpoint meetups are always a great way to catch up with friends, and we decided on Around the Clock diner as a halfway spot. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The diner’s ambiance and decor felt dated—perhaps charming to some, but it didn’t add much to the overall experience for us. As for the food, my friend ordered the Chicken & “Brick” Waffles, and I opted for the Veggie “Onion” Skillet with French Toast. (Emphasis on the word Brick & Onion) While the portions were fair, the taste was far from flavorful. It’s safe to say their cooking style may cater to specific, acquired tastes. Service didn’t improve the experience much either. Our waitress, though polite, was cold and inattentive, which only added to the underwhelming vibe. A final rating of 4/10 for the food and a 5/10 for the service feels generous. The standout at this diner was their dessert display. 🍰 Though I didn’t try any, the baked goods looked absolutely scrumptious. Perhaps this diner’s real calling is as a bakery! If they shifted focus to selling sweets and shipped in lighter, pre-prepared meal options, it might revitalize the space and attract more cultured patrons. Overall, Around the Clock has potential, but as it stands, it’s not a place I’d rush to in the near future.

I had such a great experience thanks to our server Sarah! From the moment we sat down, they were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and always checked in at the perfect time. You can tell they genuinely care about the customers and love what they do. It made the whole meal even better. Excellent service—definitely the kind of person who makes you want to come back!

I quit eating there after several bad food experiences. I ordered French toast and it came out half cooked and runny. No powdered sugar or cinnamon on it. Never had French toast arrive at table with nothing on it. A few times the bacon came out almost raw. The biscuits and gravy suck--gravy is a thin grayish gruel and basically no sausage. No reason food should be prepared this ineptly.

There were 3 soups that we ordered, potato, cheese brocolli and chicken noodle soup, they were all great. I had Sunday (chicken) classic with 2 sides and it was also good. One of us got roasted chicken, chicken by itself was a bit dry but with the included filling makes it better. And then someone had a BLT sandwich, unfortunately, everything was overcooked/dried even the toast was burnt. Staff were wonderful. The place is well kept and clean.

Food is really good, prices were really favorable. I can't really judge the waitress cuz she was super busy but our order wasn't messed, up food was right and the bill was nice. I had to ask for real creamer which was kind of a surprise until I seen the lady next to us filling her to go plate with the creamer that I had asked for.

The service was good. The brunch was horrible. The blueberry muffin tasted like it just came out of the freezer after 5 years. The fruit was good, but not cut correctly. My sister didn't like that the skins were still on the kiwi, and the core was left on for the pineapple. The eggs were hard and grainy doughy balls. I didn't eat the biscuits and gravey, but the rest of my party said that was good. The sausage was good. The cheese blitz was poor. The waffles were the frozen kind and hard. OVERALL the food quality was bad.

Delish! At first i thought is was going to be a long wait hostess had said they only had two cooks for the evening. The cooks knocked it out of the park. We got our appetizer in 10 min. My husband and I shared an appetizer beef Cajun tenderloin kabobs that was mouth watering. I ordered the Roasted Salmon topped with Lemon Pepper Dill sauce and asparagus delicious so worth the wait. My husband ordered Rum glazed ribs and chicken he said the ribs weren't as good as the chicken. He loved the appetizer.

The service was fantastic. Everyone was cheerful and efficient. Our food was excellent. We go frequently to the restaurant.

Steak was a 0/10. Terribly overcooked, after my wife and I ordered medium rare steaks. There was zero pink and it was too hard to even chew. Manager came out and offered to fix the issue by taking the steak meals off (2 for 30) and fixing a new one.. we gave it close to 20 minutes waiting for a new steak before leaving and no meal looked to be taken off. It said -15.99 at the top and still charged the 2x $34.00 at the bottom. Appetizer was great, but that was about it. Likely won't return.

After waking in I waited a few minutes for someone to seat me. There were no bartenders seen or any other staff members. I had a party of 5 and was the first to arrive. After being seated, Ari read me the drink menu and told me the el jefe margarita is the best and strongest. The rest of my group arrived, we ordered our drinks and food right away. The drink menu with all the specials wasn’t effective until tomorrow but they can still make the drinks, we were told. The table behind ours arrived after, ordered after, and left the same time we did. They received their drinks and food before we did. We had the same amount of people in our parties. Our friend’s appetizer platters looked good and our shared opinion ring appetizer tasted good. We ordered the $2 Jose margaritas with sugar on the rims. We received 4 drinks and only one with the sugar rim. The main course. My husband’s bourbon steak was cook just as he requested. There were no complaints about the mushroom burger. The salmon meal; the salmon was dry and tough, she picked the whole piece of salmon up with her fork. The chicken tender meal was so greasy, it looked like it had been fried more than once. I put a napkin under hoping to soak it up but it didn’t help. I bit into the hard chicken “tender” but the grease was horrible. The chicken was dry and hard. The fries were good. Good seasoning and not overcooked. The baby back ribs were tiny, dry ,hard, and just a waste of time and effort. I bit into it hoping to taste juicy bbq ribs and couldn’t even bite the meat off the bone it was so hard and dry. We tried multiple times to alert Ari our waitress when she was around but we didn’t see much of her. When we did tell her about the ribs she said she doesn’t eat them because they don’t taste good. She took them back and they removed them from our order. Thank you. I thought about it and decided the tenders needed to go back too. So the manager came out and I explained and showed her the tenders. She asked if I wanted a replacement I replied no. She took $10 off for the tenders. My friend didn’t want to complain about her salmon. The lighting inside was very dim. The lighting outside was broke and there were no outdoor lights. One of the people we sat by complained about his handicapped wife tripping and falling because it was so dark. He used his headlights to help her get into the truck. Yes the tip was an insult but so was the service sometimes knowing when to keep your comments to yourself pays off.

We decided to go Applebees because we haven't been in a while. And I remembered why. If I could give this place all ZEROS then I would. We stood at the door to be seated for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. We waited an ENTIRE HOUR for our food ( I had to ask the server what was the hold up) There were maybe 15 people in the restaurant including us, so I didn't understand why the long wait. I ordered this meal and it was cold 🥶. The plate was sizzling but the food was 🥶. I am so DISAPPOINTED. I have had better service at MCDonalds!

Place is obviously understaffed and could use some better management. The onion soup was sour and had to be sent back, could be from reheating or too much vinegar added. Waited over an hour for our food. Waitress had way too many tables to serve, felt sorry for her. Mine and my wife and daughters food was fine, but could tell it set under the heater for a little too long. One of our guests food, the quesadilla, was fine. But our other two guests food was cold. So I’m not saying the food was bad, I just think they’re either having a hiring issue or a management issue. The waitress was nice but a little short, clearly being overworked. And it seemed like they only had one cook, clearly overworked as well.

Upon entering Applebee's, (around 6:30 pm) no one acknowledged our presence for much longer than was acceptable...especially considering the fact that there were employees walking to and fro.. Finally we were told it would be a 30 minute wait...for food..we asked? We were told it would be a 30 minute wait before our party of FIVE could even be seated...even though the restaurant had only approximately FOUR other parties in the restaurant. How can the Applebee's corporation or independent owner allow potential revenue walk out the door? A party of FIVE..🤷🤷🤷🤷 I didn't appreciate the nonchalant attitude the staff exhibited. It was like they equated shewing customers away with less work they had to do. We would have waited a few extra minutes to place our food order or perhaps get our food...but it was like they were trying to discourage us from staying. Here's a suggestion: Do everything you can to keep customers in the building; perhaps, seat them and offer them chips and salsa or a soda while they wait. Who is monitoring the profit margin of this establishment in relation to the number of staff on duty from day to day? It couldn't be good 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤷 Who's training these manager's and employees? 🤭🤔🫣🙃🫤😠 We went on to have dinner at another restaurant and OBVIOUSLY WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN 💯

Don't eat here period. Listen to the previous reviews. I'm too exhausted from waiting for my food this evening and getting disappointed once it was delivered to write all that was wrong for us. The Pop machine was out & to be serviced during dinner. No broccoli-recalled No cheese in our quesadas. Reordered. Waited Main course shoe leather( 6 oz steak)needed to be reordered. Simply tired at this point we don't want to reorder. My husband's meal was the only one right. Onion rings grilled cheese burger So,if you want The food is poor. The server seemed over worked. Most of few people there were crowded into his area. As if they operating on a skeleton staff on a Friday night. Applebees empty on Friday night? (All signs of not a good experience ) 😕 Please just try a different location. You'll thank me later.

Don’t waste your money on take out. Ordered a full slab of ribs from the Merrillville Indiana that were so tough and dry. The ribs couldn’t even be pulled apart nor cut with a knife. Called to complain but because I wouldn’t bring the food back after arriving home 25 minutes away, they wouldn’t refund just the ribs to my card. I assumed the skin was left on the back but the Manager quickly replied that all they do is heat them. I’m now assuming they were over or under cooked. Very unfortunate situation as I payed $25 dollar for this uneatable meal. I guess do a taste test of the ribs before leaving the restaurant next time would be the only solution to avoid my situation.

Pros: good (borderline great) food, priced perfectly, great hostess and waitstaff. Cons: at this time the outside seating area appearance is quite rough. Easy fixes but greatly dampers experience to look at. Might not be a diamond in the rough, but emerald definitely. We ordered the Sol Maya Combination and 3 meat Fajita Dinner. Once set in front of us, the smell was great and the plate setting was appealing. Opting to sit outside was great. The inside was a bit too dark for afternoon eating. Outside is almost a perfect balance of scattered tables like a social event. The one downfall is the different little tables messing up the scene. Some landscape and cosmetic changes are needed as well. For this, I give it 3.7 out of 5. Next time I hope to bump it to a 4.5.

What a wonderful place, stopped by after a Christening. Our service was the best, Brook took great care of us. She was very informative about the restaurant and the menu. Made many good suggestions. Food was excellent. Brook informed us of the reward system and made sure we checked out the patio. Very beautiful patio and looks like a lot of fun. Will share with others and be back for sure.

Great Mexican food. The staff is super friendly and decor is cozy. We have had the chicken fajitas, tacos and flauntus and they have all been delicious. Prices are not bad. The outdoor patio is very cute.... wonderful on summer nights. I would definitely recommend this place.

First time coming. I went in to get carry out and waited in the front for a while before I decided to go and FIND an employee to help me. The bartender sent over a server who knew NOTHING about the prices or menu and she seems a little intoxicated. Nonchalant attitude and all. I may give them another chance simply because I know restaurants have bad days like people. I also haven’t tried my meal yet, but customer service sucks!

Worst service I have ever had, I have been going to this place for years and enjoyed the open patio. This time however was terrible. Our waitress did not know what beers they carry or the price of things she didn't know. After 2 trips for her to check things we finally just gave in and ordered a bucket of lite beers with no idea what it would cost. As she started walking away I requested 2 glasses. When she finally returned she had 2 glasses of draft beer followed by a bucket of beer. The bottom line is we just wanted to eat and sent back the bucket of beer and asked for the manager. It turned out that the 2 draft beers were $7 each, Corey the manager came over and was unwilling to do anything other than knock a buck a beer of off the bill. I am done with this place, There are to many good Mexican restaurants in the area and plenty of places with outdoor seating.

Wow! So much food for a very reasonable price. I had the skirt steak with shrimp and made the mistake of eating it all when I could have saved enough for another meal. Awesome drinks, delicious food and friendly service makes for a happy gringo.

You must use a kiosk to order your food so don't expect to flirt your way into a free anything. Bro who was working at the door did everything for me though. Good thing he did because I don't use kiosk. Burger was great though and the claw machine was full.

The food is better than ever. The beef tallow really does make the fries taste better. The manager showed us how to use the new kiosks for ordering The only thing I didn't like was having to scan a code to get my drink

Feels old and a bit grimy. Bathrooms need a refresh. The burger without a bun should be presented much better on the plate. A little bit of care and attention to detail and this place would get points back. We go here out of tradition.

Ive gone to this Steak N' Shake both times Ive been to Indiana and theyre always very kind here! The food is also very good and the shakes are amazing. The food comes out quick. The service and food are very good here :)

came here to redeem a free milkshake and the lady working at the window was rude as hell beyond words! the one and only thing we came to order was that ONE free milkshake and there were NO other cars behind us or even in the lot! we ordered at the speaker and then she told us it will be full price just to let you know and we are like okay? we decide to just wait till we are at the window to provide her with our code because thats how most places work and we have NEVER experienced a worker at a fast food restaurant of all places, show such Hostility like she was INSANELY inconvienced or something ehen she was NOT! we pull around after ordering and let her know we have the code and she immediately just says “how come you didnt tell me that before” with the ugliest most god awful attitude them took my husbands phone without a word and closed her window to put it on then gave his phone back gave us our shake only 60 seconds later and then shut the window again with no goodbye, good day nothing. if shes so pointlessly miserable she should not be working there at all. safe to say we will not be returning. we were purely shocked by how something so simple turned so horrid. I would advice you to not bother coming here and dealing with this lady as she is always there. shake was decent though.

so unfortunately when i attended they messed up my order the first time after i had gotten home. i went back to the location and talked to a nice guy and he took the messed up food and after a few minutes game me my correct order plus an extra burger!! the customer service was amazing and they were very apologetic after i told them about the mess up. thank you to the friendly staff that dealt with the mess up! ps i demolished the burger! amazing food.

I just randomly found this place. It was a small restaurents but food was good. I oreder something just by looking at the menu picture. The food was typical but the portion was really good. It was for more than one in my opinon. The food was delcious. I was asking for meat rich food, it would be great if they could provide a little bit more meat. Other than that, it good delecious food for me and I enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, margaritas are huge and so delicious. The staff is nice, they can be pushy at times about wanting to get your order right away. However, they are respectful, and you get an excellent customer experience. Food is always sizzling hot 🔥 when bought to your table.

This place used to be so good. Now it’s definitely not. Spent $30+ on the mocajete and it was garbage. The steak was not edible. The chicken was dry. The shrimp were still in their shells covered in sauce. Who wants to fish out shrimp from sauce and peel them and make a huge mess. It was mostly veggies and hardly any meat. I would 100% go to EL Jamidor any day before I come here again. Most importantly my daughter had a dead bug in her drink. 🤢 🐜. Don’t waste your time or money to come here. Griselda M was our server at the time of our visit we occasionally come here for tacos and the sampler platter. To start off our visit she threw the straws at my boyfriend and met us with an unnecessary attitude as we haven’t even began our orders yet. Upon placing the order she rushed passed my man while he was still stating what he would like to eat. She failed ro come back to the table after our food was brought out leaving us to request service from surrounding servers for simple requests as a cup of water and napkins. Mind you she was just walking back and forth and sitting up front on the bench on her phone. We came in all smiles and left disappointed. We were used to great food and great service but Griselda left us with a bad taste in our mouth as she acted as if she didn’t want to work .

Service is always excellent, food is delicious and gets to the table in minimal time. The cucumber margarita and quesabirria from La Carreta will cure my bad day EVERY time. I'm new to Merrillville and this is the best Mexican spot so far!

The service was terrible. I’m a server myself so I still tipped 18 percent. Ordered to go for my family at home. First of all 30.00 for 9 tacos is wild behavior, but anyway I payed 30.00 for 9 steak tacos and 27.00 for 9 chicken tacos. Only received 6 chicken and 6 steak tacos. They asked me to go count again. Can count to 9 in English and Spanish. I can speak both. They advertised this lovely taco salad, mine was nowhere near the picture. Barely any lettuce. Never offered to take care of anything. Added on extra cost for extra sides when we received dry ass meals. The only halfway decent item was the margarita and I feel like they spike the drinks in order for you to stomach the food. Never again and on Mexican Independence Day? Shame on you!

This was some of the best Thai I've had in a while. I had the yellow curry and my husband had orange chicken. Our kids ate chicken wings. B was a really good server.

Pretty good Thai food. I liked their curry, would eat again if I could. Fair warning though this is a two person business so expect a somewhat long wait for your food. But overall pretty good.

We started with egg rolls and crab rangoon (both were fresh and delicious). Then I had the Tom Yum soup (the broth was tasty, but the soup had very little in it for the price). Then we had the orange chicken and the shrimp fried rice. We both drank water, and the cost without tip was around $67.

The service was excellent, and the waiter was engaging. The atmosphere was very cozy and cute. We ordered for our appetizers fried spring rolls, fried tofu, and pot stickers. For our main course, we ordered vegetable pad thai without baby corn and the orange chicken. The food tasted fresh and was delicious.
