Wonderful museum with a fantastic collection and rotating special exhibits. Absolutely stunning building. Big enough to cover lots of artistic territory, but spacious and curated amazingly well so that you don't feel overwhelmed. Cafe on site. We spent about 4 hours there and saw about 75% of the exhibits. Strongly recommend.

One of the best museums in the country both inside and out and incredible views right on gorgeous Lake Michigan. Plan to have lunch at the awesome cafe overlooking the lake, which includes a patio. Collection is beautifully arranged with an incredible American modern collection, best in Midwest. I got a membership so I can walk over and do laps around the tunnels which overlook the lake and city! Cafe is excellent with perfect espresso, salads, wraps and subs, soups and wine, etc. Supporting the cafe supports the museum! Well done!

My boyfriend and I went to the art museum today to take pictures with his new camera. There were only a few spots we took pictures and were really respectful of those around us but we were followed on the lower level of the museum the whole time. We couldn’t go in a new section without a worker watching us. We were in no way doing anything that caused any disturbance to anyone or anything there…that kinda ruined the experience for us. Other than that the art is gorgeous and I have always loved art since I was a kid.

We come here about once a year. It's not something we normally plan to do, but think about it when we might be downtown for some other activity and find that we have some time. Always enjoy the building itself and the featured exhibits. This time they were showcasing some of the Bradley Collection. Another special exhibit (although much smaller in scale) was the "Reviving the Dance of Death." The docent suggested that we use the magnifier app on our phone to get a closer look — great suggestion! We never try to see everything, and usually have enough after one hour. The lower level parking is a great option if there are spaces available. The MAM is a nice amenity on our beautiful lakefront.

This museum is a dream come true. We traveled from Michigan for Summerfest and knew we had to go to this museum while we were in town! Our first impressions were just marveling at how beautiful it was. Even the underground parking is beautiful! For some reason the wings didn’t open at noon and flap, and we didn’t get to see them open at all this weekend which was such a bummer! The museum is fairly priced at $27, and this place is *huge*. We kept thinking we went through every room and just kept finding more art! We spent almost 3 hours here. The cafe is really nice for a quick bite and beautiful view. Just keep in mind they are cafe prices. I liked the gift shop but I wasn’t blown away. Overall you will see some great things at this museum and you’ll be happy you went!

Beautiful Spot by Lake Michigan The Milwaukee Art Museum is a stunning place for a walk along Lake Michigan. There’s a nice café with great views, and Discovery World plus two lovely parks are just a short walk away along the shoreline. Plenty of parking available — perfect for a relaxing visit.
Manuela ( — Google review
The museum is well appointed on the Lake Michigan shoreline. It already encompasses the threat of a future romantic destination. If you are a fan of Futurama, you will understand. Initially I intended to visit the museum to explore Calatrava's architecture, which I like. Culturally, it seemed essential to understand why it was positioned in Milwaukee, instead of Chicago. If you recall, the Chicago spire (project started but not completed) was a Calatrava design. Many, I believe, felt slighted by comparison. The project manifested versus the project lost. It was a blow for the birth of the skyscraper city. An old narrative now, but relevant, if only comically. I was not surprised for the setting to be naturally beautiful - you can feel the magnitude of Lake Michigan from inside and outside the museum. However, what shocked me was the glass work throughout the galleries. I was not expecting such an impactful collection, enough to inspire to revisit the topic of glass collecting as art in lieu of paintings. The restaurant needs improvement.

Absolutely beautiful! Wonderful exhibits, amazing staff. Took my friend, my partner & her niece/nephew and we all had a blast. Ten/ten, definitely going to come back again!

The Harley-Davidson Museum, located in Milwaukee, is a must-visit for motorcycle enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Established in 2007, this museum showcases the rich heritage of the iconic American brand, drawing over 350,000 visitors annually. Spanning 20 acres along the Milwaukee riverfront, it offers a captivating journey through more than a century of motorcycle culture and innovation.
A great museum showing the motors from Harley-Davison model 1, which is made in year 1903; also it shows special motors built for police, WWII armies, US mail, etc. the most exciting part is to ride on the newest models in the museum, also the hottest models. They are so cool. It is great to visit it with the children, they love watching a lot of motors and ride on the motors, they are so happy. The location is great, it is very near the Discovery Museum and Art museum, together can play for a whole day and have the great dinner and lunch next to the museum. The gift shop is also good to visit, there are 30%-60% off items, which is very good quality and reasonable price.

⭐️ A Legendary Ride Through Harley-Davidson History – A Must-Visit Iconic Museum! 🏍️🔥 I had an amazing time visiting the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee — an absolute dream for anyone who loves motorcycles, history, design, or true American culture. The entire complex is huge, beautifully designed, and perfectly placed right by the river, which adds a really cool vibe as you walk around the grounds. Even before stepping inside, you’re greeted by impressive outdoor sculptures and classic Harley details that immediately set the tone. Once inside, the experience only gets better. The museum showcases motorcycles from every era — from early 1900s originals to modern designs — each one displayed with great storytelling and historical context. You can easily spend hours walking through the exhibits, exploring legendary models, rare prototypes, and beautifully preserved engines. Everything is clean, well-organized, and very accessible. One of the highlights for me was the gift shop. It’s packed with awesome merchandise, collectibles, apparel, patches, and unique items that you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re a hardcore rider or just a traveler looking for a cool souvenir, you’ll find something worth taking home. The museum requires a ticket, but honestly, it’s worth every dollar for the quality of the experience. There are great photo spots, indoor and outdoor areas to explore, and even a restaurant on-site if you want to relax afterward. Overall, this place is a perfect stop for travelers, motorcycle fans, photographers, and anyone who loves American heritage. Highly recommended! 🛠️🏍️🇺🇸

So much better than expected. Two dads met up with their 9 year old girls and they had a blast. STEAM Day helped but it's set up so well that I'm sure they would have had fun without it. Nice place, easy parking when it's all not busy. Great food on campus. Can't wait to return. Maybe solo to really digest all the info

A Must-See in Milwaukee! The Harley-Davidson Museum is an absolute must-do when visiting Milwaukee. It beautifully tells the story of how Harley-Davidson began in 1903 in a small shed and grew into one of the most iconic motorcycle brands in the world. The exhibits showcase historic bikes, racing legends, and design milestones in a modern, engaging way. Right next door you’ll find a large shop — mostly apparel — and a great restaurant on the beautifully designed museum grounds. A perfect stop for anyone interested in innovation, craftsmanship, and American heritage.
Manuela ( — Google review
The Harley-Davidson Museum is more than just a place to see motorcycles—it’s a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and the spirit of the open road. Every exhibit is thoughtfully designed, from the earliest Harley models to the incredible stories of riders who made them legendary. Walking through the museum, you really feel the pride and passion that built not only a brand, but a worldwide community. It’s inspiring to see how Harley has touched so many lives and carried the idea of freedom across generations. Whether you ride or not, this museum is a must-see. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.
Jack C — Google review
An incredible experience for anyone who loves motorcycles design or American culture. The museum tells the story of Harley-Davidson with passion and authenticity from its early models to today’s innovations. Each exhibit is beautifully presented with vintage bikes rare memorabilia and interactive displays that make history come alive. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming and the shop and café added to the overall charm. A must visit destination in Milwaukee that celebrates freedom creativity and the open road.
Gönenç K — Google review
I thought this was a very nice museum. It’s filled with lots of iconic bikes that roll off the line. The only thing is I wish they would’ve had some of the customized bikes. I understand that the people customize them by their selves, but they’re usually customized with Harley Davidson parts.
Jody L — Google review
A great place to show their bikes from the very beginning of their production. They served Army, Postal, Medical, Police, Refugees and to take away pets or people. Visit it and know their bikes. I posted some important information as well.

Milwaukee Public Market is a bustling marketplace located in the city's Historic Third Ward, offering a diverse range of local culinary delights. The industrial-chic setting houses numerous vendors selling everything from baked goods and cheeses to meats and fresh produce. Visitors can indulge in an array of prepared meals, including Thai sushi rolls, chicken Tikka Masala, specialty cupcakes, deli sandwiches, pizza, and grilled meats.
Visiting from Melbourne Australia and this is my second time here. This is a place that I would recommend everyone visit in Milwaukee, the market is small but it is diverse and capacious enough that there is likely something for everyone regardless of one's interests. There's a sense of movement in vitality pulsating throughout the market, and the clocks depicting the times in other great markets around the world is a bit of symbolism that feels earned. Yes, this place does feel about as culturally rich as the likes of Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne and that is a high compliment. This is probably the place one should go in order to experience the lifestream of the city, and all its earnestness and all its love of beer and cheese and many different varieties of meats. St Paul Fish Company is our go which is a particular specialty. Even vegetarians and vegans can find something to love and enjoy here: it's that large and cavernous.

Great food. So many options. I had blackberry crumble cupcake and it was divine. The spice shop has the most beautiful bottles with great selections and blend I bought several for presents. The restaurant up front was amazing. I bought fun tees as well
Katie S — Google review
Loved it here! As a foodie, hearing there's an entire market jam packed with impeccable food, I was RUNNING - which isn't common for me. And it did not disappoint!!! Anything you could want is in there. You can easily waste way too much time in here picking through vendors. (Ask how I know) Sandwiches, seafood, asian cuisine, BBQ, coffee shops, spice shops, candy shops, ice cream, bakeries, florists, delis. There is seriously so much to try here. You need to check it out! Come with your wallet, you'll need it.
Alyssa F — Google review
this market was so quaint and adorable to visit! Prices seemed slightly high, although for most of the vendors being private, they have to fit the demands of inflation. The coffee shop was very nice, lots of availability for lunch and dinner offerings. Many options for parking garages, but you can definitely find on street parking if you search hard enough. Would highly recommend when traveling to the greater Milwaukee Wisconsin area!!!!!

This is a really fun and cool place to visit. All kinds of food to eat, to take home or eat there. They have a fish market, a deli, Mexican restaurant, coffee bar, liquor bar and so much more. So much to see taste and enjoy. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by.
Yvonne M — Google review
Super cool place. All sorts of food vendors, whether you are looking to eat in the moment or take something with to cook at home later. Fresh meats and seafood, spice vendors, cheese and lots of great looking bakery. Ready to eat foods include smoked meats, a middle Eastern joint and many others. 2nd floor has a good sized seating area to eat, and picnic tables outside. Definitely stop here more than once.
Charles G — Google review
If you're in the area, I would totally recommend checking out the Milwaukee Public Market! There are so many restaurants, food stalls, and unique shops to explore. You can find everything from fresh meals to fun local gifts, and the atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite, wander around, and support local businesses.

The Pabst Mansion is a gilded age house museum in Milwaukee, once owned by the famous beer family. Built in 1892 for Frederick Pabst, this Flemish Renaissance Revival mansion boasts a heavily ornamented stone exterior and an interior filled with intricate details. Saved from demolition in the 1970s, it now offers daily tours showcasing its 37 rooms and extensive art collection.
This tour was totally worth the price of admission! It started a bit late because the tour guide was waiting for everyone who had bought tickets to arrive, and then lasted over an hour. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and did great answering our questions. Sadly, not everything in the house is original but a lot was. Everything was thoughtfully curated to match the time period (early/mid 1890s) and the pictures of what was originally in the house though wallpaper/wall color is not completely restored. This is history worth preserving, and I'm so grateful the group continues their phenomenal work. I enjoyed learning about the early history of Milwaukee. I totally recommend this tour for visitors to the city as well as lifelong residents. There is a modern elevator and, I believe, a small restroom available for use on the first floor. Our group was 22 people, and we didn't have much trouble fitting in the rooms or any problem hearing the tour guide despite a lack of a microphone. Great experience! Also, easy, free street parking by the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
Lynn R — Google review
Great tour of the Pabst mansion. The tour was led by a volunteer, Karen, and she was knowledgeable and informative. The house is being remodeled on the exterior but still open for tours. They offer discounts for seniors and students. Highly recommended while you’re in Milwaukee.
David F — Google review
Very nice tour. The docent was very knowledgeable about the history of the mansion, but I felt her delivery was rushed at times. Most likely due to the size of our group (we were split into two groups) and that there were other tours immediately following. The most disappointing thing about the tour however, is that the exterior of the mansion is completely surrounded by scaffolding which makes it impossible to get a sense of the grandeur of the architectural details. When I went to purchase the tickets online, there was no mention of it, but I guess since the tour is of the interior, they must not have felt the need to call it out on their site. Be sure to watch the video in the welcome center next door (the place you gather before the tour) as it contains so great information about the history of the Pabst family, the mansion and the other mansions on the block that have been destroyed.
BrandAction A — Google review
Beautiful Historic Home The Pabst Mansion offers a rich, well-paced glimpse into Milwaukee’s past. An informative short film sets the context around Captain Frederick Pabst, his family, and the brewing-era prosperity that shaped the house. We opted for the self-guided tour, which lets you move at your own speed through elegantly restored rooms, period furnishings, and thoughtful exhibits. The mansion is in very good condition; note that the exterior façade is currently under renovation, but it doesn’t detract from the experience. Built in 1892 for the Pabst family, the residence later served as the Archbishop’s home before being preserved and opened as a museum in the late 1970s. The blend of architecture, social history, and careful restoration makes this an engaging stop — plan about an hour to enjoy the film, explore the interiors, and appreciate the craftsmanship.
Manuela ( — Google review
Highly recommend visiting this stunning mansion. We took a Sunday morning mimosa tour and our docent Genevieve was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable on not just the mansion and Pabst family but the entire era. The mansion interior is just phenomenal. The woodwork alone is breathtaking. The restoration they’ve taken on is impressive. We will be back when the outside is fully restored and will take the Behind the Scenes tour.
Elizabeth W — Google review
I attended the opening event for the Christmas decorations at the Pabst Mansion. The mansion looked beautiful and the staff / volunteers were excellent. I'm looking forward to returning with family to see the beautiful displays.
Katie D — Google review
We took the guided tour for $19.00. They do have military, senior, and student discounts. Don't go to the house check in at the gift shop first. Directly across from the gift shop is a free parking lot. The tour was right around an hour long. We got to tour all three floors of the mansion. They do have an elevator for guests to use. Our docent/ tour guide was great. She answered all of our questions and provided tons of information. When we went the front of the mansion was getting construction. It didn't affect the tour at all. After the tour we went back into the gift shop and bought a Pabst blue Ribbon ice cold beer. It was a great way to end the day. Everyone was super nice, and accommodating. I scheduled my tickets online their website is very easy to use.

A wonderful slice of American History. Thankfully this place was saved from the wrecking ball. It could have been another ugly modern US building or a parking lot. Well worth your time to visit. Also see the Pabst Brewery tour as a supplement. Learn how corporate mergers, greed, and acquisitions by private equity has destroyed another American Icon.

Museums
The Milwaukee Public Museum is a captivating destination for those interested in anthropology and natural history. With three floors of exhibits, visitors can explore a diverse range of attractions, including a butterfly garden. The museum boasts an impressive collection of 4 million specimens, featuring highlights such as a 14,000-year-old Hebior mammoth skeleton and the immersive 'Streets of Old Milwaukee' diorama that offers a glimpse into the city's early 1900s era.
We were so glad to visit this amazing museum. Sadly, we found out that it would be demolished and another one would be built. I hope the architects do a great job because this incredible museum has great exhibits, displays, and much art. You can spend the whole day there. Among our favorite exhibits were the Native Peoples, the European Village, the Egyptian exhibit, and the dinosaurs. We would love to go back and finish discovering the rest of the exhibits we couldn't visit. We are also glad to share with you that this museum is part of the reciprocity programs among science museums. We have a membership from the Science Museum of Minnesota, so we were able to attend for free. We highly recommend this place. P.S. To the ones planning on the design of the new museum, I hope you do a good job. Please preserve the gorgeous displays that already exist. The European village is filled with charming details that make you feel like traveling in time. There are other cute displays like a cat hidden in an alley that meows when you walk by.

This is hands down one of the coolest museums I have ever seen! The displays are top notch and full of interesting exhibits! My 15 year old said this is the closest she's ever come to enjoying history! Plenty of options for ADA compliance, plenty of exhibit topics to provide fun for everyone!
Carrie — Google review
We all absolutely loved this museum!! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us! Clean bathrooms which is always wonderful. There is so much to see and do you could spend a whole day here learning and exploring. Everything is so detailed and fascinating to look at. You can really see all the thought- time and hard work that went into the making of the museum. Learn about history and culture and so much more. There is even a butterfly room! Fun for all ages- three levels of fun. They even have a cafe on site and parking garage next door (fee). We had so much fun i can't wait to come again and spend more time exploring the museum.
Cortney F — Google review
Fun museum with some hidden gems that keep it interesting for everyone. From the butterfly exhibits to the rattlesnake in the Buffalo hunt, there's so muchto find and discover. The European village and the old streets of Milwaukee are one of the most unique exhibits I have seen at the many museums I've visited.

Such an amazing place! I home schooled my 3 kids and would have loved to have had access to a place like this! It's fun, entertaining, educational, emotional, friendly and incredibly interesting . I def recommend 100%
Danielle S — Google review
Totally surprised by the presentation of this facility. We came in skeptical but left impressed. The outside of the building wasn't appealing, so when we saw the displays we were shocked by the professional layout. Great artists have been a part of this, and sculptures could rival any other facility. Often, the displays had much more detail than necessary to make the point, and I, for one, appreciated that. We have visited many, many museums. This was one of our favorites.
Steve R — Google review
Three floors- so a lot to see. We enjoyed the planetarium show the most. The butterfly room was also really cool! Ate lunch in the cafe. It was convenient and the pizza was pretty good. There’s a lot to learn about Milwaukee and it was an interesting museum.

Great museum, one of the better ones we've been to. Multiple time visitor, been visiting for 35 yrs. We drove from Michigan (6 hrs). My kids absolutely loved the dioramas, the dinosaur one and the buffalo hunt were visited a couple of times in our trip. The streets of old milwaukee was so cool, and great for teaching the cultural backgrounds. Sadly I've heard the museum is planning to remove all that, so this may have been our last time visiting.

The museum features educational experiences and interactive exhibits centered around technology and freshwater sciences. I had an awesome experience visiting Discovery World with Kids on their end of the year school trip. I have been praising the experience ever since my visit. I will definitely be coming back. Topping on the cake was seeing some conveyors the company I work for made! Very cool!!

Our family spent 4 hours here and could have spent more. The kids were 7, 8, 9 and 11. The aquarium side was small but still interesting (we touched a sturgeon, ray, lobster and sea cucumber in the petting tanks) and the tech side was definitely cool. I’ve been to a fair share of natural science and children’s museums and there were things here I haven’t done. And a beautiful location overlooking the lake. I recommend this for a family friendly stop in Milwaukee!

This is a great place with to go visit with your family on a weekend or weekdays. If you are disabled they have wheelchairs. There are a lot of interested displays. They have a huge model of Milwaukee including Allen Bradley clock Tower. There are big displays with many different kinds of fish and turtles. There is a place where children can stand on the steps and touch surgeon and stingrays this is very fun but the water is a little cold. It also offers a great view of the lakefront and a little cafe where you can go buy burgers drinks and snacks. And a gift shop stuffed animals, jewelry, and a variety of other merchandise.. my daughter and her best friend got matching bracelets with stingrays on them and I got a stingray plushie for me and my son. A very enjoyable time. I would highly recommend it to people visiting Milwaukee or families looking for something to do on the weekend or days off of school.

I took e kids (15, 12, and 6) and every one of us had a great time! Arrived within an hour of opening and there was plenty of parking in the garage! The touch tank was a HUGE hit and the individuals monitoring were kind when correcting patrons and very helpful! All the staff were helpful and patient! The sensory bags were so helpful for our sensory sensitive kiddos!

Admission price is a pricey, but worth every penny! We spent 3 hours in the museum, could spend even more. Our kids (she 8, 5, and 2) had a blast! I learned a lot too! Parking is expensive. If you don't mind walking, park 1-2 blocks away and walk to the museum.

What a cool place! Super easy parking underground and reasonably priced. The value for your entrance ticket was excellent as there is SO much stuff to see. Highly recommend for your whole family. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan.

Wow, beyond amazing! The aquarium is small but jam packed and the wastewater treatment portion is really cool! Tech side is neat too. Highly recommend!

The Milwaukee County Zoo is a sprawling 190-acre attraction that houses over 2,000 animals from more than 350 species. Visitors can enjoy animal exhibits, pony and train rides, a carousel, and entertaining sea lion shows. The zoo also hosts various events such as workshops, holiday celebrations, concerts, and food festivals. Additionally, the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory known as 'the Domes' showcases tropical, arid, and seasonal plant displays in three distinct domes.
Possibly one of the best zoos around the country . Very well maintained spaces and facilities for the animals and guests . The area is surrounded with trees and natural environment making part of the entire experience of being outdoors : one with nature. It is a very big campus with a lot of opportunities for walking and enjoying the outdoors and the animals . Well paced and certainly well maintained. Bought tickets online in advance and arrived later in the afternoon to avoid crowds . Best idea ever . Parking is sprawled and easy in and out access to the zoo.

Such a nice zoo. Clean. Staff is pleasant and seem to really like their jobs. Animals appear to be well cared for. The predator prey set ups are nice. The plush scooters are fun. The gift shop is nice. There are multiple food options.

Very nice zoo with shade and easily walkable. They had all the major animals. The only downside was some of the exhibits. For example, the big cats (e.g., lions, tigers) are all inside. It was cool seeing them so close, but I couldn't help but feel bad for them in such tiny enclosures. Now, it appears they each take turns using the outside exhibits, but it still, it was sad seeing them in these glass cages. I haven't really seen that before. There are a variety of food options and spread across nicely. The elephants had a big exhibit and appeared active. Hippo was also really neat.

Cyroni standing tall, phone in hand, legacy in progress. Then BOOM—elephant locks eyes like it’s snack time. 💥 Was it a charge? Was it a warning? Cyroni says nah—it just thought my phone was a banana. And honestly? That’s the kind of energy we bring: so fresh, even elephants want a bite. 📢 No fear. No flinch. Just a legendary moment. Cyroni didn’t back down—he just laughed it off like a true explorer. I really liked this zoo! Very beautiful and a lot bigger than the map make it seem! All I could wish is the train and the skyride were free or at least cheaper and that the parking was cheaper. The day I went it was a pretty empty parking lot so I would've hoped it would be reduced or free. I love the koi fish!

Wonderfully beautiful zoo. Well kept, the animals seem happy and healthy. Great variety. We didn't wait to see any animals. There was no crowd except when getting snacks. Some of the snack locations ran out of many items. The price for snacks was very high compared to ticket prices. Otherwise we were very happy!

This is a nice escape out of Illinois. In the summer months, it’s a great time to walk around and see different animals and look at different attractions.. The elephant and monkey displays were great for the kids. Signage was clear and most things were easy to find using the map or the signage The zoo is adding more features this year, which is nice to see. One room for improvement is some of the food places were not open on a Friday during summer. Online ticket purchase is easy and saves you time when you park.

The Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a must-visit attraction. It features three distinct domes, each functioning as a greenhouse with tailored temperature and humidity levels to simulate specific climates. Visitors can explore the desert, jungle, and seasonal flora environments at their own pace. The conservatory houses thousands of plant species protected from insects and parasites without the use of pesticides.
As a Wedding Photographer, I think that the Mitchell Park Domes are a Milwaukee treasure! The Domes are a fantastic place for indoor photos - an invaluable asset on wedding days in Wisconsin, allowing couples an option for "outdoor" photos even during the worst of Wisconsin's mercurial weather. There is really nothing else like them - they give greenhouse & garden feels with a strong side vibe of Mars’ space colony. The combo works incredibly well and provides both a diversity of nature environs for photos as well as a strong architectural canvas to work with. Each dome is its own environment, and I mostly use the Tropical and Desert domes for portraits. The Domes are a perfect option for couples who want to bring a little magic to their wedding day portraits or really any other photo need you might have!

Beautiful Experience – A Must-Visit, But Could Use Expansion Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory is a hidden gem in Milwaukee and an amazing place to spend a few hours surrounded by nature. The three domes—Desert, Tropical, and Show—are well-designed, peaceful, and filled with stunning plants from around the world. It's a perfect spot for families, nature lovers, photographers, or just anyone looking for a relaxing escape from city life. One of the biggest perks is the free and easy parking, which made the visit super convenient. The ticket prices are very affordable, making it accessible for just about everyone, especially considering the quality of the exhibits inside. Each dome offers a unique vibe—the Tropical Dome feels like stepping into a rainforest, and the Desert Dome is fascinating with its collection of cacti and succulents. The Show Dome rotates themes seasonally, and it was beautifully decorated during my visit. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the overall size of the park. While the domes are beautiful and well-maintained, the entire experience is a bit on the shorter side. You can comfortably see everything in about an hour, and I found myself wishing there was more to explore. It would be wonderful to see the park expanded with additional exhibits or outdoor gardens in the future. Overall, Mitchell Park Domes offers great value, stunning plant displays, and a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, and I’d love to see it grow even more over time!

Very BEAUTIFUL & well maintained. We spent approximately an hour to 1.5 hrs. Self-paced. There are 3 domes which represent 3 different regions of the world with native plants. There are a few benches to sit on, however I feel they could add a few so more people can sit and relax or take a little break. There’s a gift shop in the entry way building. Plus public restrooms.
Lisa Y — Google review
The day I went, only two of the three domes were open. One was in transition - the seasonal one probably getting ready for Christmas. Despite that disappointment, I found it really peaceful and enjoyable to walk through the domes. The colors in the tropical dome were amazing. To me, definitely worth the admission.
Andrea P — Google review
Amazing. There are themes for each dome. Fantasy, Desert and Tropical. Each one is excellent and had different flowers and vegetation. My favorite is the fantasy. The flowers and vegetation were awesome. They had a (fake) Unicorn, a Phoenix, a DragonBall dwarfs amongst the flowers. I picked up a few things from their gift shop.
Yvonne M — Google review
The domes are absolutely stunning, both in their unique architecture and the vibrant displays inside. Each primary exhibit offered something special, showcasing a wide variety of plants and trees from different climates and regions. It was fascinating to see so many species in one place, from towering palms to massive cactuses, especially since most of us are used to only seeing them as small houseplants. Being able to walk among them in their full size was truly a memorable experience. The layout makes for an easy and pleasant walk, allowing you to take your time and really appreciate the details without feeling rushed. Every dome felt thoughtfully curated, with plenty to see from start to finish. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend setting aside some time to visit—it’s a beautiful, educational, and relaxing spot that’s well worth the stop.

Wow! I didn't know conservatories could be so BIG! Whether you're outside or inside, the view is gorgeous. There are so many educational signs to read up on all of the flora, and there are so many plants to look at! The fountains outside were my toddler's favorite part, they were a great way to cool off on such a hot day. Definitely recommend!

Solid swimming if you love cold plunges. Great smells if you like dead fish. But seriously, a fun beach to hang out with friends and plenty of volleyball courts to play at.

Bradford Beach seems to be well taken care off. Nice and even sand, and easy to find a spot to sit. Parking might be a bit iffy at times, but that just shows how nice the beach there is.

Beautiful beach with multiple volleyball courts and a nice bathroom/changing room in an old retro building. There are drinking huts too. Great place to catch a sunrise.

I thought North Bradford beack was safe from the sewage. Nope, I was sadly wrong. Literally 150 feet of poop and sewage just sitting on the beach in the water. It was so disgusting, I left immediately. I saw all these kids and dogs playing within 100 feet of it.
Brandon M — Google review
First time really spending time here, I was really impressed! This is a must stop if you love volleyball, people watch, walk, drink, or just soak up some sun. It's a more trendier beach for sure. There's scooter rentals, about 3 tiki bars right on the beach, benches all around the beach, tons of volleyball nets, an awesome concession stand w decent prices (serve alcohol too), and clean bathrooms. I was so impressed with how clean everything looked. There's cops always somewhere near, so it felt safe and they were friendly too! The beach itself is a little rougher and deeper. Might not be as great for the little ones. This is a great place for pictures too as besides having the beach view, there's a bridge, a woodsy walking path and large white rocks near the water edge. I'm coming back next time to sit in that tiki bar and enjoy a cold one! After my swim of course lol
YANA S — Google review
I’m an out of state visitor staying for a few weeks in Muskego. I wanted to see a beach, or at least the shore of Lake Michigan while I was here. I’m so glad I decided upon Bradford Beach for a short outing. it is still winter technically, but the day I went was sunny and warmish. There were maybe a dozen other people on the beach. It’s a lovely, peaceful place – at least on the day I was there. I imagine in warmer months it is quite active! which would also be a lot of fun.
Gretchen G — Google review
This place is a gem (that many people know about)! I visited Milwaukee for a Brewers came and fell in love with this city. Bonus points for the chance to hang out on the beach of Lake Michigan over the next afternoon. I grew up close to the Atlantic Ocean and lived on the Gulf Coast and I was pleasantly surprised. I can see why this is a top city beach. I loved hearing the sounds of the waves landing on the shore at Bradford Beach and watching the tide come in and out. Bradford Beach has volleyball courts, tiki bars, rocky jetties and plenty of places to sit. I only wish I had more time to chill here and go for a swim.

The Milwaukee RiverWalk, a charming pedestrian walkway that winds along both sides of the Milwaukee River, offers a delightful experience with its mix of public art, historic landmarks, and various dining and drinking options. This six-kilometer pathway connects the Historic Third Ward, Downtown, and Beerline B neighborhoods. The walk is not only a great way to explore the city but also provides scenic river views.
This is a very nice adventure that goes along the river. There are several stairs up and down you must navigate to stay on the Riverwalk. There is one section that has an elevator at both sides I couldn't get it to work though for some reason. It's definitely worth doing this on a sunny day
Daniel K — Google review
From a fitness perspective of a scenic run focusing on your health and steps, this is a great spot for a good morning or evening workout. If you are here for recreational purposes, this is not the spot. Very nasty and trashed water that looked far from its natural state. Lots of cigars, alcohol, and beer lying on the side of the walkway by the river. Mediocre experience coming from a frequenter of the Chicago Riverwalk.
Muhammad T — Google review
Milwaukee is a clean, quiet, and gentle city, and the Riverwalk truly reflects that character. I expected to see a beautiful riverside view, but what surprised me most was just how peaceful it was. At first, I enjoyed watching a sightseeing boat pass by, but then I witnessed something even more fascinating—a bridge lowering to reconnect the road. It was such an unexpected and unique sight, something you don’t get to see just anywhere. The Riverwalk offers both calmness and moments of wonder, making it a memorable part of the city.
Julie S — Google review
Despite the rain, Milwaukee’s RiverWalk proved to be stunning! . The gentle patter of raindrops only enhanced the beauty of the riverside views, creating a serene and almost magical atmosphere. Whether it's sunny or rainy, the RiverWalk always offers a unique and enchanting experience. Don’t let a little weather (or the half naked homeless lady changing her pants) stop you from exploring this gem in the heart of the city! 🌧️🌊✨

Summerfest is usually great, but this year I'm not sure what happened. The last weekend there were multiple fights and during a set a guy fell and hit his head on the concrete behind us. It took forever for staff to get to him (like 15 minutes) and then it took another 15-20 for medical to arrive. There should be an EMT team at each stage. I truly hope the guy was ok.
Randi S — Google review
Due to high heat, Summerfest is allowing carry in of water bottles. Any other day just bring in an empty water bottle and fill up at the water fountains. The best thing we ate this year was the deconstructed s’more empanada from La Masa. There are multiple entrances into the festival grounds. Check which stage do you want to go to before you map your ride or decide where to park. If you’re using uber or Lyft you may want to get dropped off a couple blocks before and walk in which will be faster. Lime scooters are everywhere too and can be booked in your uber app. The summerfest merch this year is awesome!

Came here to experience the “China Lights” exhibit & it did not disappoint!! Would recommend the earlier time slot if you are bringing younger children. Otherwise, that walk through as the sun sets helps to illuminate the art! It’s absolutely breathtaking & majestic either way! The night definitely brings it all alive. Pro tips: Pay for the $15 parking lot instead of waiting in a long car line to take a free shuttle. Just saves you time & the headache. The staff & security were professional & spaced out perfectly. There are adult beverages for sale as well as some snack options. Pre-purchase tickets online.

I had such a wonderful time at China Lights. The displays were absolutely stunning, vibrant, detailed, and so thoughtfully put together. The atmosphere was lively yet still family friendly, with plenty of space to stroll and take everything in. The live performance was so much fun to watch, and there were food and drinks available for purchase, along with seating areas. One tip: bring bug repellant since you’ll be outside after dark. It’s a beautiful experience whether you go with kids, friends, or on your own. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Milwaukee area or visiting. Definitely worth the trip.

This has become a fun tradition for my best friend and I. The first one we came to was Alice in Wonderland and to this day, it’s my absolute favorite, but every year is over the top. There are so many beautiful displays. I can’t imagine how much time it must take to set everything up. There are food, vendors, some of the most amazing kettle corn, ice cream, adult beverages, a little bit of everything. On the way out there’s a mini donut vendor, you don’t wanna miss it. They are warm and delicious for the ride home. There was a beautiful young lady in the back, who was painting the inside of bottles to create a scene. You could buy Christmas ornaments, which I bought 2, A little tea pot, a bottle, all kinds of other fun things. It was incredible to watch her paint. Everything is hand painted on the inside of the glass, which is not only an insane talent, but imagine how much patience that it takes. The only negative I could say about this is the parking. The main lot fills quickly so you have to be bussed from a remote lot. That’s difficult when I’m bringing my 78-year-old mother. Aside from that, it’s one of our favorite fall excursions. We drive an hour from Chicago and it’s absolutely worth the drive.

The China Lights exhibit is a wonderful event for all ages. My fiancé and I come yearly with our closest friends, it has become a tradition in our friend group. Today, my partner proposed to me at the Botanical Gardens. The place is like a mystical fairy garden, and I will always remember this event, its beauty, and the sense of community coming together. Everyone should come experience this!

2025 China Lights review: I took my children here and we all were intrigued by the amount of lights and designs placed so over. the price was about 30$ per person and came with parking and a shuttle to the event space. upon arrival you walk to the ticket area and through a beautiful corridor. there's a map at the beginning if needed, but honestly just exploring the lights, entertainment (also has a stage for performances), and food was incredible. tanpopo had a food stall and provided amazing choices. alongside that is popcorn, 21+ beverages, and a small stand with incredible art pieces relating Chinese culture! Wonderful event for a date, family, or group trip! tickets sold fast so buying online in advance is recommended!

The Boerner Botanical Gardens are gorgeous all year round offering a place to indulge in tranquil natural beauty. A highlight of the Garden is their yearly China Lights display. The Lights during the day and night each offer a unique experience. Experiencing the China Lights during the day is lower traffic; you're able to take your time and admire the craftsmanship and details on all the lanterns. The Night viewings are high-traffic and more popular amongst visitors. The Garden has free parking available for patrons. Ticket prices for the Garden depend on the event. The year-round brews feature a variety of India pale ales, lagers, and seasonal beers.
Lakefront Brewery is an absolute gem and such a fun experience from start to finish! The tour really showcases the history and heart of the brewery—you get to see the tanks up close and learn about the process, but it never feels boring. The guides keep it lively, funny, and full of personality. The nods to Milwaukee culture (like the Laverne & Shirley) make it feel extra special and unique to the city. The riverside patio is a highlight—it’s such a perfect spot to enjoy a fresh pint while watching the boats drift by. And of course, the food and beer did not disappoint! The cheese curds were absolutely spot on—crispy, melty, and delicious with the dipping sauce. Pair that with one of their local brews and you’ve got a true taste of Milwaukee. What really sets Lakefront apart, though, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re in Milwaukee, Lakefront Brewery is a must. Between the history, the river views, the food and drinks, and the incredible staff, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and

The brewery was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the cheese curds were fantastic. They were super chewy and had a little grease on the outside. The downside is you can’t eat a lot of them at the same time because of the cheese and grease. They don’t offer flights on the weekends but I got the dive beer and it was a nice light beer. You have to pay for the brewery tours and they are only available on the weekends.

Great atmosphere with plenty of beer options and a decent size menu. The cheese curds were the best I’ve ever had! The only down side is parking. It took us 15 minutes to find street parking. I can’t imagine trying to park during peak times. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend!

Our company set up a tour here and it was a lot of fun. Our guide George was very entertaining and did a great job. We each got several chips to spend on drinks. My absolute favorite was their Eastside Dark, followed by the Hazy rabbit and Bumble Bear. They have the absolute best cheese curds I have ever tasted.
Barry D — Google review
So many things to love here! Ahead of our tour we enjoyed some incredible fried cheese curds and a giant pretzel -- we loved both of them. Then onto the informative tour with JD who was funny and knowledgeable and did a great job keeping control of the group. The $17 tour price is a bargain since it includes 32oz of beer as well. (Tip: I'm not a beer drinker but I enjoyed their Shandy, a mead, and their highly delicious root beer.)

This is a Milwaukee classic. Food here is super on point. Some of the best cheese curds l've ever had! Huge space with bench seating so you'll likely have someone on the same table but it's not an issue. Can still get pretty packed. Right next to the river. If you're on a boat you can dock, get a beer, and head back out pretty quickly. I recommend doing the tour its worth $7 3 drinks and a awesome lake front beer cup! 100% recommend!

Great beer and food. We took the weekday tour and it was great. You get 4 generous half pint samples. You also get a coupon for a free beer at participating restaurant/bars. Add this tour to your list.

Food & atmosphere was great. Best cheese curds I’ve had! I ordered the sausage mac & cheese and it was delicious. It had caramelized (I think) onions and it elevated the dish to a whole new level.

Museums
The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is a vibrant haven for young explorers, particularly those aged ten and under. This interactive museum offers a plethora of engaging exhibits that blend fun with education, making learning an adventure. Kids can immerse themselves in various activities, from role-playing in a miniature city to experimenting with water dynamics in the Wisconsin Waterways exhibit. The museum also features intriguing science displays and creative art areas that spark imagination and curiosity.
Very nice day outing for kids. We went with our 4 and 2 yr old and they were busy for 2 hours straight. Lots of activities for the kids mostly indoors, some outdoors. Dress appropriately.
Rajneesh N — Google review
This is SO fun to go with the kids! My toddler loved it. There were some broken pieces on the displays and when we brought it to the person working, they shrugged it off like “oh yeah it’s broken” but didn’t seem interested in fixing it right away. Also the school play area was in disarray with missing pieces. However it was gorgeous views of the lake, we had fun running into friends and had fun overall.

I do really enjoy this children’s museum and my kids do as well (7 & 11months old) however unless there is an exhibit going it’s pretty empty over by the garden area and I feel as though for the outside portions they could do a little bit more but positives are that kids of all ages can enjoy this place they also offer a parking discount for the parking garage and they have a nursing room which is honestly ideal when coming with little littles

A great children’s museum with ample activities and play areas for kids to explore. The Sendik’s grocery store and mechanic shop were the highlights of my kids trip! They had a blast and it was fairly quiet for a Wednesday afternoon.

Cravings M — Google review
My kiddos had a blast. Lots to do and all age appropriate. I especially appreciated the 4 and under play area, as we crossed paths with a field trip of older kiddos (6-8 yrs old) and felt a bit overwhelming with my 3 yr old and 10month old. The bathrooms were nice and accessible for strollers. My kids were never bored. I especially appreciate seeing staff often picking up/rearranging and keeping things cleanly. We personally saw a young lady disinfecting connecting play parts. It was great having hand sanitizer stations all around. There was a nice sitting area for those who brought snacks/lunch. There was also a coffee station where things could be purchased. Overall, really great experience, especially during these cold winter months! I'm sure we will be back!
Pakou L — Google review
I took my grand babies, and this place is NOT what it used to be! Rowdy misbehaved kids running everywhere with no staff (or parents) anywhere to keep any sense of order. It's basically a free for all. In the area designed for the very young ones, there were middle school aged kids running around and pushing the little ones who got in their way, no parents anywhere I could see! Same case for everywhere else we went. Also, the cool exhibits they used to have are no more. This was a place once suited for smaller kids with lots of neat things for them to do-its now a rowdy mess with minimal things for the kids to interact with. I was literally not comfortable even letting go of my granddaughters hand! It's so sad how downhill this place has gone!

American Family Field, formerly known as Miller Park, is a modern baseball stadium with a retractable roof and serves as the home field for the Milwaukee Brewers. The stadium offers a variety of delicious food options beyond traditional ballpark snacks, including bacon mac and cheese, roast beef sandwiches, churro doughnuts, tacos, barbecue, arepas and sushi.
One of our favorite ballparks. Tailgating before a game is a must and the locals take their tailgating seriously. Tailgating usually opens 2-3 hours prior to game time. There are bars/restaurants close to the ballpark that offer free shuttles. Traffic in and out of the stadium moves quickly and there’s easy access to major highways. The team store is large and has everything Milwaukee Brewers related. Food and beverages were tasty and more affordable than many other ballparks we have visited. If you sit in the Miller Lite Terrace the high top bar tables have phone chargers and beverage chillers on/in the table. We entered the game early and our kids were able to watch the visiting teams batting practice. They were also given a couple baseballs which the players gladly autographed. Don’t miss the sausage races and if the Brewers hit a home run be sure to watch the outfield for Bernie Brewer on the slide in the outfield. Great family outing.
Gregory W — Google review
Going to a Brewers game at American Family Field is always a fun experience. The energy in the stadium is great!! fans are passionate but also welcoming, so it feels like a true community atmosphere. One of the best parts is the famous Sausage Race, which is such a quirky and unique tradition that makes the game feel extra memorable (and always gets the crowd hyped). The retractable roof is also a big plus, you don’t have to worry about games getting rained out, and it makes the stadium comfortable no matter the weather. Food-wise, you’ll find plenty of classic ballpark eats along with some Wisconsin favorites like cheese curds, brats, and local beers. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s pretty standard at MLB parks. The staff throughout the stadium is friendly and helpful, and the whole place is kept clean and easy to navigate. Parking can get a little crowded, but the tailgating scene is part of the fun!! lots of fans grilling out before the game adds to the whole experience. Overall, the Brewers stadium offers more than just baseball. it’s a mix of tradition, good food, and a welcoming fan base that makes every game feel like a celebration.
Alysia C — Google review
This is, without a doubt, one of the best ballparks in baseball and a must-visit, even if your team isn't playing. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is electric and uniquely tied to the city. The architects did an incredible job blending modern amenities with a classic, old-school ballpark feel. The sightlines are superior from every section. The concessions here are what set this park apart. They offer typical stadium food, but they've partnered with local restaurants and breweries, offering a fantastic variety. When you couple the food with the wide selection of craft beers, you have a superior concession stand. There are plenty of social spaces, fan zone and childrens experiences to gather at, like the "Kids Zone" on the terrace level and the "Power Playground" on the field concourse. The integration of team history is also superb, with beautiful plaques and statues of team legends inside and outside of the stadium. Don't forget to check out the "Selig Experience" exhibit. It's a must for any Brewers fan. Overall, it's a wonderful experience and a shining example of how a modern ballpark should be built.
Ryan P — Google review
That visit and The Game with Diamondbacks I will remember for so long. That was a thriller. Both team could get a win ticket before last inning 8:8 - but the huge visitors support and perfect organization and atmosphere- were helped for Brewers. I have never seen not only support, but an entertainment on the stadium. Screen plays, the fun run, music accompaniment- it’s a Top level not only for Baseball. Thank you for excitement. See you in Philly 🫶
Iurii N — Google review
One of the best ballparks in baseball! The retractable roof ensures that rain or shine the game will go on! For beautiful summer days with the roof open, there's nothing like it. Great food and drink vendors all around the stadium and love the Bernie slide for when the Brewers get a home run! There are usually lots of brand activations inside and outside of the stadium too that give away free swag which is a nice touch.
Bailey J — Google review
We had a great time at American Family Field! We parked in the preferred parking lot to be closer to the stadium. By the way, pre-purchase the parking before the day of the game to get a discount. Our seats were on the top level and we found elevators and escalators to assist us. The fans are incredibly friendly. You must see the sausage run! We’ll be going back for every home game next year!!
Marcos A — Google review
Best time ever! Even though we are Cubs fans, the Brewers fans were nice to us and the whole vibe & stadium was beautiful. Plenty of accessable bathrooms too. Don't plan on rushing out though leaving that parking lot was a cluster of craziness! No one is guiding traffic out so just don't hurry out. We also appreciated the free parking since coming from Chicago we are used to paying an arm and a leg! That was a nice surprise! Can't wait to come back again.
SalsaChik L — Google review
Great ballpark, even the seats up high have a good vantage point and you can see the whole diamond quite clearly. Things in the gift shop and/or any food is ridiculously expensive, but that's any sports franchise stadium for any sport. Nothing out of the ordinary or extravagantly expensive or anything like that. Parking is ok, this was the first time we spent extra for "preferred" parking and I would definitely recommend that to anyone planning on attending a Brewers game. It has (as I'm sure most if not all do also) some very long escalators so you do not need to walk up several flights of stairs to get to your seat if you are way up. Overall I like this stadium a lot and I recommend catching a game if you get the chance to.

The Basilica of Saint Josaphat is a stunning Roman Catholic church with a striking copper-domed rooftop and vibrant murals. It was constructed in 1901 and is open to everyone for self-guided tours when there are no masses taking place. The basilica, reminiscent of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, stands over 250 feet tall and features impressive architecture dating back to the late 1800s.
The Great Catholic Church is very beautiful inside and out. I have plenty of things to purchase from the gift shop. You become mesmerized by all this historical parish has to offer. Be sure to bring your camera and video camera too to take stunning photos and videos. You won't be disappointed with the tour or mass they offer either.

An incredible and amazing place! Really beautiful! The lower level is beautiful too with many, many relics on display, all behind iron gates. So precious. We pulled off the highway unplanned when we saw the brown sign for historical sites. You really must go and visit the Blessed Sacrament there and admire the vast amount of work to make this sacred place. Thanks for having it open.

Very beautiful building. We thought this would be a fun stop while visiting Milwaukee. This is a must-see. Doesn't take a long time to visit and there's plenty of free parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We did the audio tour of this stunning place ($5 recommended donation), and we learned that the building was designed by Germans, built by Poles, and it now sits in a Latino neighborhood. We also saw a painting of Polish hero Tadeusz Kościuszko, who was a Colonel in the Continental Army (the good guys) in the American Revolution, and then fought for Polish freedom during the uprising against the Russians that was named after him. I've never seen any war hero paintings in a church before. Regardless of these things, this place was just a marvel of beauty and inspiration.

We are all spirit, soul, and body. Those three elements make us who we are. No spirit, no life. No body, no existence. No soul, no feeling. It’s places like this that are meant to transport us to a higher place that cannot be seen with the naked eye, but has been “made” visible by the majestic sights in this building. Outside are stresses and troubles. Inside is peace and protection. Outside is darkness all around. Inside is glory and light. The goal of this place is to lift us higher beyond the weight and heaviness that we wearily carry. I’ve been to cathedrals and basilicas all over the world. I add this place as a definite must-see. Come and find rest. Come and be captured by spectacular visuals of what Heaven is like. Let’s be good to each other and reflect in our own lives what this place stands for.

This is hands down the most beautiful Catholic Church in all of the Greater Milwaukee Area. It's extremely welcoming to visitors, so if you've never been, look at the mass schedule online and check it out! There's even a gift shop on the lower floor before going down to the chapels downstairs.

The Pabst Theater, situated in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a historic gem built in 1895 by Captain Frederick Pabst. This venue boasts stunning German Renaissance Revival and Baroque architectural styles with ornate interior features such as intricate plasterwork, gilded accents, and a hand-painted ceiling. As the fourth-oldest operating theater in the US, it has hosted legendary performers like Sergei Rachmaninoff and Anna Pavlova.
The Pabst Theater is a beautiful location to see a show. We were in the first balcony and had a fantastic view. The workers were friendly and helpful. The process to get in and move around the theater lobby wasn't bad at all. You could get to the bars and easily spend some money at the Merch table. The crowd was fun and ready for a great show!!! Now, about the show... Thank you Matt Matthews for an incredibly fun and interesting evening! Very personable and you made sure to reach out and touch everyone in one way or another. Came back after a quick bite and a different security “team” could not agree on what my “stamp” from the preshow meant- just followed person 1 instructions - person 2 thought that screaming at me was appropriate when she disagreed with what person 1said. The park where this lighthouse stood was so lovely. The staff at the museum there was friendly. Its only 7 dollars to tour. A gentleman named Dave asked us kindly if we wanted a little Milwaukee history which we obliged and learned about it's growth and vast network of lighthouses along the Great lakes and their purposes. We signed a waiver to climb the tower and enjoyed the view. We bublr biked all the way from downtown to here. That made the trip to the lighthouse ever more special.

My friend and I visited in July 2022. While there, we could see the set-up for a gorgeous wedding in a private section of the property. For admission, we were welcomed, given a short tour, allowed to peruse the museum, and climbed the top of the tower to see some great views of the bay. The climb is steep and there are appropriate warnings for it, but for two able-bodied women in their 20s, the climb was fine. There is a gift shop with shirts, books, and other fun lighthouse merchandise. I recall being politely asked to quiet down during a loud chat, so if you're boisterous like me, keep in mind that the lighthouse honors library manners.

Lakeshore State Park is a 22-acre urban oasis located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. It features a fishing pier, marina, benches, and a 1.7-mile paved trail that connects to other lakefront parks in the area. The park offers stunning city views and a small beach, making it an ideal spot for activities like wedding photography. Visitors can also reserve overnight boat slips for added convenience.
Surprising fact: it's a state park! This place is like Veterans Park, but more secluded. Hidden behind the Summerfest grounds, it stretches along the Lake Michigan shore and gets wider as it approaches the Discovery World building. I love the lighthouse and the view of the Hoan Bridge. Walking here reminds me how beautiful our city is.

Beautiful little state park right on the lake in downtown Milwaukee. There are nice paved paths for walking or biking and plenty of open space to sit, relax, and watch the boats go by. The views of the skyline and the Hoan Bridge are amazing, especially at sunset. It’s usually pretty quiet and peaceful even though you’re so close to the city and Summerfest grounds. Experienced Fiserve Forum in Milwaukee for the Bucks game. Had wonderful seats, food was Fantastic in the Mezzanine club and parking in the garage just north of the game was easy. Exciting game and they won!!

The venue is actually nice. Comfortable seats with just enough leg room. My issue is with Levy Restaurants, who supply the food. The box of popcorn i got was a box of kernels. I was so mad I had to walk back after the second half had started for them to correct the issue. A sleeve of popcorn is 5 bucks and a soda is $4 but no lid or straw. I'd rather starve while I'm here than over pay again.

Love going to Fiserv for concerts. Our seats for Alan Jackson's final road concert of his career were in section 117 row CCC (front row on floor, side) seats 3&4 were excellent! No one in front of us (I'm short, lol) and close enough to see Alan well. Floor seats never work for me due to my height so this was the best experience I could have asked for!

1st time at the FISERV for a Buck's game. Great set up in the traffic areas to keep folks moving. Liked the convenient parking with the bridge across so no outside walking necessary. The steps descending to our seats were a bit awkward as they start as regular steps then broaden and get less steep. Difficult with a disability to access, but do-able. Seats were very comfortable and the entertainment was constant. Really enjoyed the entertainment.

Make sure to tip the magician because he is "hands down" a true master of his craft! Take the time to enjoy everything this place has to make your time here memorable and fun. Oh and the secret password to get in is...... 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT GOING HERE! Find yourself down a little road looking for a door and knocking and saying a password to get in.... Are you an agent or a spy... Or worse, a double agent! Awesome experience that even Obama has been to and so many more people that it will literally take you hours to consume it all. Ask for Agent Bunny G, tell her Agent Google Guy sent you! Great experience! Must do! Food - Awesome Service - Amazing, Thanks again Agent Bunny G! You made the experience! Atmosphere - Awesome Magician - Yes, they even have one, magical!

Great food and great service this place is awesome! The Double Agent with fries was really good and is certainly a cheesy burger! The rye bread here is just awesome as well so it’s definitely the current favorite! The red Cajun fries are really good as well and the ambience of the restaurant is certainly worth visiting. They have some really cool artifacts and signed pictures that are certainly worth seeing. Lastly, I recommend the scavenger hunt as it helps you see some somewhat hidden parts of the restaurant….for sure coming back again and again!

Great atmosphere, kid friendly, the food was pretty good. I had the Cuban missile crisis, and order of cheese curds, my son had the Thunderballs (meat balls). And I had a few adult beverages. All and all, we had a great time at The Safe House!

Absolutely love this place. They truly make u feel like a spy. Wish I could give you guys 10 stars. And the magician did an amazing job he was so much fun. And agent 0so M was the best waiter you could ask for. She made our whole night. She was so nice and caring for a agent. 10 out of 10 experience.
David L — Google review
Agent Nephew was our server, he was very acknowledgeable about the menu. Was willing to be honest about what he did and did not like. The mac and cheese was amazing, as was the burger. Def will be back next time we’re in town.
Lexi M — Google review
This place isn’t what the reviews make it to be. Giving it a 2 star is being very generous and looking for all the positives of the place. The food came out cold, bland, dry, and I’ve had better food in the deserts of the Middle East than this place. I’ve had better service by a blind homeless man at the local 7/11. The atmosphere is okay it’s a cool concept with an out dated vibe. I’ve had a better experience with 1 night in the county jail than this place. But the cheese curds is what boosts this rating to a 2 star. If you’re gonna try try one just to say you did it.

If you're looking for a sophisticated evening in Milwaukee, the Great Lakes Distillery & Tasting Room is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in the vibrant Walker's Point neighborhood, this distillery has been crafting exceptional spirits since 2004, making it Wisconsin's first new distillery post-Prohibition. Here, you can enjoy classic cocktails like the White Russian or Bloody Mary alongside local favorites such as the Milwaukee Mule, which features vodka and Top Note Ginger Beer.
This is a great tourist stop, but I'm sure I'd come often if I lived here. Kevin and Ian were amazing bartenders! Very solid drinks that showcase the taste of liquor, not hiding it under heavy mixers and garnishes. The ones we had were well crafted. The bar was clean, service was great, and prices were decent. I love Great Lakes Distillery. Will be back!

Great tour. Not a big place, been to bigger Distilleries but this tour was very informative. I like hearing how they make their products. Definitely worth going.
Ken Z — Google review
We ended our day in Milwaukee with a stop at Great Lakes Distillery. We had a white Russian while we waited for our tour. Very tasty. The tour was very informative, and we got to sample 7 shots of their products. We left with a bottle of cherry liqueur, apple brandy, and the tint of honey whiskey.
Teresa P — Google review
The tour of the distillery was informative and interesting: had the chance to taste a good handful of their most recommended spirits. Our tour guide Kevin was a G: he was very personable, knowledgeable, and made our first-time experience memorable. Would definitely look forward to coming back, as locals.

My wife and I stopped in randomly a few days back while on vacation and it was the best decision we made our whole trip!!! Didn't even realize there was a tour but came at just the right time and tagged on at the last minute. Both bartenders were awesome and helped us have a rediculously good time. You could tell these guys really enjoyed what they got to do and walked us through everything. We are usually brewery folks, but we will definitely be back next time we are in town!!! Grab a couple of bottles while you are there as the liquor is fantastic and definitely wallet friendly compared to other craft distilleries. Their stuff is so good it almost made me like gin.....lol

Unfortunately no tours when we came due to a pop up event, but did not detract from the experience. Great drinks and great service. If I lived here, I’d be coming here a lot
H S — Google review
We stopped for a tour and it was awesome! The tour and tasting were great and so were the drinks! It was a nice atmosphere to just hang out with some good drinks. It was great learning about the history as well. Only negative I can say was it didn’t have a changing table in the men’s restroom. I had to change a diaper on the bathroom floor which is never fun. Maybe next time I visit they will have added one.
Zack H — Google review
Took the 1 pm tour. It was a great time. The tour guide knew the company, the distillation process and made it very entertaining. The tap room is well designed with a ton of choices. The drinks were very good. We had a Wisconsin old fashioned and the samples from the tour. We ended up buying a couple of bottles for the holidays. There are so many choices to buy from so it is definitely a place to try out and then return again. It was a very neat tour and tap room.

Nestled along the scenic Milwaukee Riverwalk, you'll discover the charming "Bronze Fonz," a life-size statue that pays tribute to Arthur Fonzie Fonzarelli, the iconic character from the beloved TV series Happy Days. Crafted by American artist Gerald P. Sawyer, this delightful bronze figure captures The Fonz in his classic pose—giving two enthusiastic thumbs up!
I couldn’t visit Milwaukee without finding the Bronze Fonz, even on a freezing cold day! Growing up with Happy Days made this a must-see for me. The statue is a fun and nostalgic tribute, and the spot overlooking the Milwaukee River is beautiful. It’s the perfect blend of pop culture and local charm. It's worth braving the cold for this iconic photo op!

I visited this statue on a cold night. It’s very strange to think “I’m lucky to have seen a statue of a fictional character”…. But I did, and I do. The surround views were nice. The lights reflecting off the water made it even better.

If you are letting Google Maps show you the way there, you will get yourself turned around trying to find him. Why not take a nice Riverwalk and discover the beauty of the Milwalkee River downtown and see Fonzi along the way, you will be glad you did!
Lynette W — Google review
On a business trip to Milwaukee I enjoyed the Riverwalk. I did meet up with the Fonz in Bronze.. it was fun to snap pics and say, heeey! 👍. I recommend finding the Fonz during the daytime as there are a few people sleeping on the benches in that area and the area didn't seem to be as well lit as other sections on the Riverwalk.

Milwaukee is a vibrant city with a great mix of history, culture, and modern attractions. The lakefront is beautiful, and there are plenty of museums, breweries, and restaurants to explore. The people are friendly, but the city often feels a bit empty with not many people on the streets. Still, it has a unique charm and a welcoming atmosphere.

Odd Duck is a unique and lively restaurant that offers an ever-changing New American shared-plate menu and creative cocktails. The atmosphere is vibrant, reflecting the restaurant's energetic approach to food and drink. The chefs incorporate fresh local produce into their dishes, resulting in a diverse range of flavors and techniques from around the country and the globe.
Absolutely loved my experience here! When I visit a city, I love an adventurous foodie experience at least once where we can splurge and small plate restaurants are my favorite for doing just that. In a city where cheese and burgers are ubiquitous, we needed a break from typical American food and we got that and more at Odd Duck. The service was awesome from the host to the food runner (special shoutout to them) and our server. We ordered about 5/6 dishes as per our servers suggestion and I enjoyed every single one. We started with the chips and dip, the karretensalah, the hamachi crudo (as coursed by them) it was a good fresh start, my favorite being the crudo here then the salad was super fresh and I loved the touch of the apples. We went into the hot food after, which were the smashed potatoes coated in tahini and something sweet which was a nice tough to balance the savoriness and umami flavor of the tahini. Then we got the lamb manthi dumplings which were good but not as good as the Japanese beef short rib curry. So comforting and flavorful and rich! The pork belly was another favorite as well and I’ve never considered pairing with black eyed peas but it was awesome. For dessert, we got the crème brulee (a MUST HAVE) need I say more. And the chocolate ganache cake with meringue cookies, this was good but if you choose only one go for the crème brulee. The drinks we ordered were also very unique and flavorful. They have an extensive wine list which I enjoy but I felt like I was missing out if I didn’t order a cocktail and I’m glad I did. Overall, loved this experience and sad I don’t live in the Midwest anymore so my chances of returning are slim but I will recommend to anyone visiting Milwaukee.

Odd Duck is quirky and delightful. My partner and I went here for a birthday celebration, recommend getting a reservation. I loved all the duck decor. The staff was down to earth and kind. All of our food selections from the menu were adventurous but still accessible. The only thing I wish could have been better was the noise level. At some points it was overstimulating. That being said, once the menu rotates, we will be back.

Odd Duck was fantastic! my wife has Celiac disease and i have a nut allergy. they were so accommodating, they marked off everything we couldn't eat from the menu and handed it back to us. everything was delicious, especially the crispy fried oyster mushrooms. we will absolutely be coming back to taste the menu again in the next season. thank you Odd Duck 💖 you made our month. pictured - house made chips with French onion dip and caviar, fried oyster mushrooms, and braised short rib

We had an enjoyable dinner here. We had heard much about this place and we are happy we could make it for dinner during our short stay in Milwaukee. We ordered the board with cheese and charcuterie, the oyster mushrooms, the hamachi and two desserts. The hamachi dish and desserts were delicious. The board offered a great variety of cheese, salami and pate. The oyster mushrooms, while tasty, were much too salty. We opted to eat at one of their tables outside. It was much quieter.
Babette L — Google review
Easily our favorite spot in Milwaukee! I love their rotating menu and the creative food fusion dishes — everything always feels fresh, unique, and full of flavor. The drinks are not only tasty but beautifully crafted, making the whole experience feel special. And their chili crunch deviled eggs is a must-try every time! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and it’s one of those places you can’t wait to come back to.

We were so lucky to get tickets for this year’s Halloween six course menu based on the Goddess Baba Yaga! We were welcomed in with a cocktail, a beet deviled egg, pickled mushrooms, and a savory cracker. Highlights of the meal included pine cone jam on the fanciest ham and cheese sandwich, a large plate of stuffed quail, the delicious pierogis, potato salad with rich smoked trout, and the Baba Yaga’s hut cake, a cheesecake with tart cranberry sauce. The owners truly love Halloween and it is so fun to see the decorations and costumes. We will absolutely back for both other Halloween dinners, as well as a nice date night. Everyone at our table- besides my husband and I- had been to Odd Duck and were singing their praises of their deviled eggs and unique cocktails.

This is the third time I’ve come here. The dessert drink was absolutely delicious, I haven’t had a drink this yummy for a while. We tried several dishes and we loved the catfish. It was crispy and juicy. The crispy mushroom was not my favorite. The breading was too thick and hard made it difficult to eat. The flavor was really good I just wish the breading was lighter. Buttermilk chicken is good, I loved the grits. Overall it was a fantastic experience again, I would recommend it to my friends.

I enjoy going to the Marcus Performing Arts Center. I especially enjoy attending the Broadway shows. My most recent visit was for Wicked, which was spectacular! The actresses and actors played their parts well. The sets were incredibly well done.
Kathy B — Google review
We saw Wicked, August 2025. We had the full view of the stage and orchestra from the balcony. Everyone was friendly and guided us through the center. Getting tickets online really does not give a clear understanding that seating is multi-floors above the orchestra seats. I believe the balcony had better viewing than the loge a floor below.

The show I saw was amazing, but I was furious about their bathroom situation. I was told by a staff member to go to different bathroom line downstairs since it would go quicker. There had to be at least 30-40 people in line. I came back late to the second half of show because of all the people. They need more bathrooms and/or longer intermission time to accommodate everyone. I was so upset I missed part of second half of show to one of my favorite musicals. :(

The garden also supports artists through fellowship programs and grants. With its picturesque lake and lush greenery, the garden offers a dreamlike setting where art seamlessly blends with nature.
I truly enjoyed everything about this Garden it’s filled with wonderful sculptures, gorgeous flowers and trees. To add the pond is a true sanctuary. I adored taking my babygirl to get some fun pictures and letting her run through the wildflower meadows. My wife and I happened to arrive at the gardens right at 10 am when they opened, and the grounds were damp and marshy. My wife had white tennis shoes that got fairly dirty since there aren't well established paths or walkways; I was a bit better off in my Keens. So be sure to wear appropriate footwear if it has rained recently! The lack of paths also makes this place inaccessible for wheelchairs. The sculptures themselves were decent, but I don't feel it's a place I need to visit again now that I've seen it. Certainly did appreciate the fact that it was free.

Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, located in the suburb of Bayside, offers a 185-acre habitat with diverse ecosystems such as forests, wetlands, prairies, and Lake Michigan shoreline. The center features approximately six miles of hiking trails that cater to various interests and abilities. Visitors can explore the stroller and wheelchair-friendly boardwalk around Mystery Lake, ascend a 60-foot Observation Tower for panoramic views, and stroll along a paved trail leading to Lake Michigan.
Surrounded by Nature, Schlitz Audubon is a beautiful and peaceful wedding venue. There are gorgeous nature trails, teaming with life and flowers, a lagoon with a boardwalk, a cute beach along Lake Michigan, and a wooded clearing for weddings! As a wedding Photographer, venues that are too remote can create logistical challenges for wedding days, but Schlitz is the perfect balance of being in nature while also being accessible. Boardwalks and bridges make taking in the trails in wedding attire an attainable feat, and you just can’t beat the way the sunlight trickles through the trees during the day or how it makes the tall grasses glow around sunset. The spacious Nature Center building offers all the modern amenities large celebrations require while maintaining the right vibes. Its wood and stone construction and large windows keep guests in nature while providing plenty of space for candlelit dining.

I love this nature center. I come here every first Saturday of the month for Raptor Day. They have 15 raptors and a crow they’ve rescued you can see up close and take pictures of. The gift shop is beautiful and everything is fairly priced. There is an admission fee but if you go enough, I recommend buying a season pass that you can upgrade to allow up to two other guests to bring with you for free and you get discounts in the gift shop as well. Right off of Lake Michigan and plenty of trails and a watchtower. A lot of the trails are handicap accessible as well. 🙂

An amazing place to visit. The space is incredibly well managed both from an ecological standpoint and trail infrastructure. Late July is not a great time to go birding in around here but I still managed to record 14 species on my hike. Huge array of native plants in woodland, meadow and wetland ecosystems, a large number blooming this time of year. The trails in the Solitude Marsh section are a bit overgrown, I was not able to hike through with my kid in our backpack carrier, and there is some buckthorn back there, but this is still an incredible place to hike and get a sense of the biodiversity native to southeast Wisconsin.

We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding at Schlitz during the Milwaukee flood storm. Even with the unexpected last-minute change for our ceremony, the team made everything absolutely beautiful. A special thank you to Emerson for making the day so seamless and unforgettable. ❤️

This is one of my favorite nature centers I’ve ever been to. I’m from Illinois and drive about an hour and a half a few times a year to visit. The lily pads weren’t in bloom yet and that is one of the best parts of the nature walk. I also love all of the turtles and really beautiful birds that make their way here. Black Cat Alley is an urban outdoor gallery located in Milwaukee's historic east side. It was established in 2015 and features over 20 vibrant murals created by more than 24 artists from around the world. This unique alleyway, developed by a community of artists and sponsored by the East Side BID, offers a diverse collection of street art that continues to grow. Additionally, it houses a hidden speakeasy called Shanghai MKE, accessible only through Black Cat Alley.
We've been trying to make it here for a few years but we either can't find any parking near there or run out of time. We went and had lunch at Comet Cafe and decided to walk down to Black Cat Alley. I'm so happy we did, it was absolutely beautiful with such a cool variety of different art throughout.

This open-air alley is filled with rotating murals, bold color, and great energy. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time wandering, snapping photos, and noticing new little details in the art. Each piece feels intentional and expressive — definitely more than just “street art,” it’s a creative experience. We visited on a weekday and had plenty of room to walk and take pictures without crowds. No wait, no tickets needed — just show up and enjoy. Henry Maier Festival Park, operated by Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., is a vibrant 75-acre lakefront venue in Milwaukee. It hosts the renowned Summerfest music festival and a variety of other events throughout the year. The park features 11 stages that come alive with live performances during Summerfest and other cultural festivals such as Festa Italiana, Irish Fest, German Fest, Mexican Fiesta, Polish Fest, Pride Fest and Black Arts Fest.
I go to a ton of festivals every year and I promise you won't find one better equipped for a great experience than Summerfest. It's got permanent stages & bathrooms, very reasonable food & drink prices, fireworks, an excellent view of the lake, crisp sound & video boards at each stage, endless places to sit, tons of shade for those hot afternoons, kayaking, a driving range, a playground & kids stage for the kids, and of course 10+ hours of live music a day. At $30 per day it is arguably the best deal for a music festival in the country and if that still breaks your bank there is almost always a promotion to get in for free. I am incredibly lucky to have grown up in the city that calls this massive and INDEPENDENT music festival its home and my love and appreciation for it grows each and every year. If you ever find yourself in Milwaukee at the end of June or beginning of July this festival is an absolute must!
Justin B — Google review
I came here for the Mexican Festival with my family, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The park is large, so be prepared to do a fair amount of walking, comfortable shoes are a must! One of the highlights is the absolutely gorgeous view of the river, which makes the atmosphere feel extra special. The park itself is fairly well maintained, and I was impressed by how friendly and attentive the workers were. At one point, I needed to find the nearest ATM, and instead of just pointing me in a vague direction, one of the staff members actually walked me there while making friendly conversation. That level of hospitality really stood out. Most places would never go that far. Another thing I appreciated was how thoughtfully the festival stages were set up. They were spaced far enough apart that the music didn’t clash, which is rare for big events like this. It made moving from stage to stage a lot more enjoyable. Like most festivals, food and drink prices are definitely on the higher side, so come prepared to spend more than you normally would. The main drawback was parking. Definitely utilize spot hero for affordable priced parking. The lot across from the venue charged $50, and it took over 30 minutes just to leave the lot after the event. When we arrived there was a police officer directing traffic, but none were present during exit, which created unnecessary chaos. I’d love to see the city take a more thoughtful, long-term approach to parking and traffic management. Not everyone can or wants to park far away and walk long distances, especially elderly visitors, families with young children, or those with disabilities. A more balanced parking approach would benefit everyone: affordable closer lots for those who need them, clear designated spaces for rideshare drop-off/pick-up, and improved shuttles from farther lots for those who don’t mind parking away. Just a thought 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Such a beautiful spot on the lakefront! Even when there isn’t a festival going on, it’s a great place to walk around, relax, and take in the view of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline. Lots of open space, clean paths, and a peaceful atmosphere. You can feel the energy of all the events that happen here, but it’s also calm and scenic when it’s quiet. Perfect for photos, a walk by the water, or just taking a break in the middle of the city. Stopped by to see the lighthouse on the lake, and it was definitely worth the visit. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan, the shoreline, and the skyline in the distance. It’s peaceful, easy to access, and a great spot for photos or just enjoying the breeze off the water. A simple but charming stop—especially if you like history, lakeside views, or just a quiet moment by the water.

This is where Summerfest is held every year (usually the last two weekends of June and the first weekend of July). They also have a fantastic amphitheater (extra ticket needed) on site. It’s right along the lake so you do get a cool breeze on those hot days. There are also a wide variety of activities ranging from live music to kayaks and everything in between.

Henry Maier Festival Park is the premiere outdoor music venue in the Milwaukee / Chicago area nestled on Lake Michigan. Summerfest and numerous ethnic festival make their home at the grounds providing amazing summer entertainment. What makes this a great venue is the constantly improving permanent infrastructure. Definitely must is the Sky Gliders that take across the park, giving gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. The food options are numerous and often change with Summerfest and the other festivals. Admissions prices do vary between festivals, but they usually very reasonably priced for a major metropolitan area.

We always come to events at the Festival grounds but I never posted a review. It's always a great time here for any event. Plenty of restrooms and food options for all the festivals throughout summer. If you are not from Milwaukee or have never been, please stop by for any large event. It's well run and soany things to try and vendors who sell, advertise, promote, ect. The music from many different cultures and ethnicities are what brings the community together and build stronger bonds. Always a wonderful time here with the lake breeze right next to the venue.

The Old German Beer Hall in Milwaukee is a local establishment that pays homage to the famous Hofbrauhaus in Munich. The hall is designed with Bavarian traditions and history in mind, offering an atmosphere that replicates the original Munich beer hall. Visitors can enjoy a variety of German beers, pretzels, bratwurst, and other traditional dishes. The menu features local Usinger Sausages made daily across the street and giant pretzels imported from Munich.
This place was a great surprise!! We tried a sampler platter. Everything was exactly what German food should taste like.

Can't complain about the service, as it's non existent. (Update: Just watched an elderly couple walk out after waiting 60minutes) One waitress and one chef rostered on for the whole dinner service. I'm sure the waitress and Chef were doing their best but tables were left waiting extremely long to order and even longer for food to arrive. Management need to roster on more staff. Interior decor aims to meet that of a German beer hall and looks reasonable.

This place looked like a nice spot at first glance, but there is one server and one bartender for the whole spot. On top of that, my whole family orders schnitzel and when they came out, they came out without any mushroom gravy. When we asked they said they were “out of gravy”, yet nobody ever told us before we ordered that they would not have the gravy on the meal. The whole meal ended up being super dry and definitely not worth its price. I expected more from hofbrau house since we traveled from Florida to try it. Avoid this spot if possible. I’m sorry if you chose to eat here and experienced the same.

This restaurant oozes with old world charm! Our waitress Bri was amazing - fun, friendly and attentive even on a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely delicious. We split the OGBH platter and everything on that plate was spot on. Tasty Hefeweizen! Must try the apple strudel - it was just the right level of sweet with fresh whipped cream and warm gooey apples. Can't wait for another trip to Milwaukee to return to this gem.

We ordered the giant pretzel with the cheese spread—delicious and perfect for sharing. Tried a German beer, and the bartender recommended adding lemonade to make it a shandy. We loved it! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely a fun spot to stop by in Milwaukee.

Slim & Christian were great bartenders... PROFESSIONALS! Slim gave us a shot of Killepitsch... A liqueur that is better than Jagermeister. The pretzel was insane! The beer was beyond amazing. If you come to Milwaukee, come here and be ready to drink some amazing beer!

I've been to Germany with the military, and this place is the real deal. I'm not a drinker, but the friend I ate with was very complementary of their liquid refreshments. We had lunch, and it was superb (Weissgerber Smoked Bratwurst, hot potatoe salad. Spätzel and sauerkraut). It was worth the trip!!!! Great atmosphere, and it filled up right after we arrived. Monday mid-day and hopping. I will for sure be back on my next trip!

The Grohmann Museum, located on the MSOE campus in downtown Milwaukee, boasts a vast collection of over 1,300 paintings and sculptures that depict the evolution of human work. The museum's centerpiece is 'The Man at Work' collection donated by Dr. Eckhart Grohmann, showcasing men and women engaged in various forms of labor throughout history. In addition to this permanent exhibit, the museum also features digital exhibitions, rotating special exhibits, and family events.
Finally took the time to visit. This place is a treasure. Wonderfully curated and focused. It was just a wonderful place to walk thru. Dedicated to "Work" it was a very educational depiction in a variety of art forms. I was happy to see representation of both male and female persons "working". It would be interesting to see an exhibit specific to Milwaukee industries, (there were some elements of this). It will be interesting to see how this place evolves as the 21st century evolves. Can't wait to come back for another stroll.

The Grohmann Museum was amazing! We spent over two hours there and only left because it was closing time. Dedicated to working trades and crafts, it is full if amazing sculptures (bronze) and paintings. There are plenty of descriptions and occasional QR codes for informative audio. We learned a lot and greatly enjoyed. This is the only museum of its kind in the world solely dedicated to human work. One of the top 3 museums in the world that I have seen and would recommend as a must see.

Went here for Mumford & Sons (which was an amazing concert btw). Lots of parking nearby, and there are many restaurants and bars within a few blocks. Entry to the stadium was a breeze, with plenty of staff at the gates. Everybody we encountered working there, from security to concession workers, were all exceptionally friendly. We were on the second level but the views and acoustics were excellent. Very clean facility overall. Only negative was the seats weren’t very comfortable. Tight leg room for those of us with longer legs.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly, and helpful with giving directions on where to go, what stairs to use, ect. Bathrooms were very clean, as well as the entire building, both inside and out. Great food selections too, they had a chick-fil-A! Would gladly attend another concert/attraction here.

We went to see Deftones at Fisher Stadium and it was an unforgettable night. They were joined by Phantogram and The Barbarians of California as support acts, which made the lineup even more exciting. The sound quality was excellent for an open-air venue – Chino’s vocals were clear, the guitars were heavy, and the bass hit perfectly without too much echo. The view of the stage was good even from further back, and the atmosphere in the crowd was incredible. Organization was smooth overall – security and staff were helpful, lines for food and drinks were average, and restrooms stayed clean. Deftones gave a powerful performance, and with Phantogram’s dreamy set and The Barbarians of California warming up the crowd, the whole night felt complete.

Went to see the Bucks vs Houston Game 11/09/25 and had a blast. Was able to see them play up close was definitely a good vibe for me. Tickets were not cheap but not to expensive either. If you are ever going to an NBA game make sure you're there an hour to 30 mins early as the lines will be jam packed and some parking my be hard to find. But other than that I had fun with family and friends. And will definitely be heading to more NBA games out there.

The Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee is an absolutely top-notch venue! It’s clean, modern, and incredibly well-organized — everything about the experience felt smooth and enjoyable. Even at a sold-out event, the staff handled crowds and lines efficiently, and I was impressed that there was no wait for restrooms. Parking was easy and convenient, with plenty of options just a short walk from the arena. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and flow of this place. Honestly, other event venues could learn a lot from Fiserv Forum. It’s a great example of how to make large events stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Milwaukee City Hall, completed in 1895, is a landmark building known for its Flemish Renaissance Revival style and iconic bell tower. It was the city's tallest building until 1973 and features a striking design with granite at the base and approximately eight million pressed bricks on the top six floors, along with terra cotta sculptures. Designed by architect Henry C. Koch, this historic structure underwent significant renovation from 2006 to 2008.
As a tourist visiting Milwaukee City Hall, I was thoroughly impressed by its architectural grandeur and historical significance. This iconic building stands as a testament to Milwaukee's rich heritage. The exterior of City Hall is striking, featuring intricate detailing and a prominent clock tower that offers a glimpse into the city's past. Inside, the grand staircase and beautiful stained glass windows add to the building's charm and elegance. The interior design seamlessly blends historical elements with functional spaces, making it a fascinating place to explore. One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of the building through informative displays and friendly staff. Overall, Milwaukee City Hall is a must-visit for anyone interested in architecture, history, or simply experiencing a key piece of the city's identity. It offers a glimpse into Milwaukee's past while standing as a proud symbol of its present.

OK, this place has a nice view and good ambiance, but overpriced drinks. Ordered something the waitress said was like a frozen margarita for $16. It was in a tiny glass, maybe 6oz? It was smaller than the water glass! We just laughed; it was like a big shot glass. 😆

Now I love the atmosphere in this place never had an issue whenever I come. Yesterday around 10pm we waited to be greeted at the bar. There were 3 bartenders and 2 other people who were just cleaning the area. No one ever came up to greet and acknowledge me and my partner. I understand it was busy we weren’t being pushy at all. As we waited we noticed were being overlooked and discriminated. I felt beyond dismissed. There were other people who were acknowledged and order taken that came up to the bar after us. Also there was a white guy and white girl who never showed any customer service to us and actually laughed that we said “hey can you take our order” after we noticed the bartenders didn’t want to take our order. We don’t know if it was because we were black and regular dressed? we should have never been treated this way. The one bartender who was black that took our order was not so welcoming either. The attitude he displayed wasn’t pleasant at all. I felt so uncomfortable, outcasted and honestly disgusted that we were treated with much prejudice. We left the establishment wondering what we did or said? If the manger or owner would like a follow up I’m sure to give it. I’ve never felt like this before leaving this place I’m so sad that I don’t feel comfortable ever going here again. I hope there are training videos on cultural diversity because last night was definitely a showcase of racism. -Mya. Drink was 8/10

I asked her to make the dirtiest, filthiest martini with Kettle One vodka and the olives they have (that are made with dill pickles, green olives, and tomatoes, mind you), and it was the best dirty martini I’ve ever had in my 30 years existence. Their tomatini is sensational also!!! ASK FOR EMMA!!!

Come on, admit it, this place is at the top of your bucket list isn’t it? Well if it’s not, it should be! What a fun museum, it may not be not very large in square footage but it more than makes up for that in content!Whether it’s sports, pop culture, or current events, chances are there’s a bobble head in here that you’ve always wanted to see! I found bobbleheads from my youth such as Lou Brock & Hank Aron, our Presidents, the cast of the Big Bang Theory and the all-time greatest coach in NFL history, Vince Lombardi! It’s upstairs which isn’t great, but the stairs were easy to navigate and there’s an elevator as well. It was easy to find through Google maps and there’s plenty of free parking. I HIGHLY recommend this as a must see stop on your to-do list!

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, is a distinctive structure designed by the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Completed in 1962 after Wright's death, this church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is considered one of his last major works. Its blue-domed Byzantine-style architecture has attracted visitors from around the world since its opening in 1961.
Have you ever attended a Greek Orthodox Service during the Easter Season? Holy Friday is remarkable for the reason that the hymns sung during this service chronicle the life, crucifixion and death of Jesus. The melodies are captivating and if I may, a shout out to Alexis Krenitsy Ganos, choir director who skillfully manipulates the beautiful voices within the very Byzantine chanting. The melodies this evening were the ones I grew up with and remind me of the time there were no seats to be had in this amphitheater like place of worship. God is here. Please attend our Easter Pascha midnight service… so much beauty and pageantry but faith filled, Biblical, ancient yet up to date. Tonight we passed beneath the Epitaphion, the cloth on which the body of Christ is depicted. We die with him but as we pass beneath, we emerge victorious and see a glimpse of Heaven. Please join us.

Unique architecture. I study the design and art work for churches in different cities and I have to admit this one is very unique. The curves and the reflections are very well designed. Located in an open area that makes it easy to spot the church from different angles. I didn't have a chance to go inside since it was closed. But I hope people discover peace and beauty at this place.

I believe the shootings were the result of bullying by the people mentioned in the shooters manifesto. It's a shame his coping skills were so poor. And this bullying may very well be the cause of sandy hook and so many others. I know bullying. I was bullied at Whitnall middle in Greenfield Wisconsin in 1985. Hate is the tool of a society that admires itself too much. Why doesn't the media mention this truth?

Uncle Wolfie's Breakfast Tavern & Nite Wolf Ramen is a warm, family-owned spot in Milwaukee's Brewer's Hill known for its creative takes on breakfast and brunch classics. The cozy corner bar atmosphere and curated retail space make it a favorite among locals. Their menu features dishes like the BELTCH, Spamelette, McJohnny, cold fried chicken bahn mi, and ube cheesecake.
Uncle Wolfie's is an unbelievably great breakfast/lunch spot! I have eaten here twice and both were wonderful experiences. My first visit a year prior in 2024, I was even lucky enough to be served by the owner himself, Wolf. I told him then and I'll say it again here, this place is something special! They have a very interesting menu with a clash between time-tested classics as well as incredibly unique, ultra-flavorful menu items. Their food rivals the quality and flavor profile of many Michelin Guide designated or James Beard awarded restaurants, without the frills (or price tag) of a true 'fine-dining' experience. The tavern potatoes are a MUST! The kitchen staff and service team deserve a standing ovation. They've taken an unassuming breakfast joint and turned it into a place I want to return every time I visit Milwaukee. My server/bartender [Carson] was knowledgeable, kind, and had great recommendations for me, top notch service all around! Photos [sorry for the mid-meal quality pics] feature their crispy chili-oil fish sandwich, tavern potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. Be warned, they are popular and you may need to wait or go early to get a table when you want it! Already looking forward to my next visit to Wolfie's!

Overall, a cozy, well-kept spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!

We have been hearing about this place for a while now and I’m so glad we finally got to try it out. The wait was pretty long (45 mins at 9:30) but was well worth it. The service was phenomenal; Matt made sure we were well taken care of, sharing the specials, refilling our coffee and water, and just overall being a delight. The steak and egg burrito was fantastic, and my boyfriend liked his “big wolf” breakfast. The only con to our dining experience was that my matcha spritz took a while to get to the table (ended up getting our food first), but it was a busy Sunday so I didn’t fault them for it. Definitely try this place out! We’ll be back!

Wanted a breakfast/brunch experience with great local’s reviews. Found the right spot. Shout out to Autumn for awesome service. Great location with retro vibe. Enjoyed their lunch menu Spamellete omelette. Check the menu description for details. Asked for a side of their corn meal biscuit with homemade sausage gravy, which I really enjoyed.

This place is truly cozy and inviting location with an amazing chef. The dish I tried was absolutely incredible, and it’s really rare to experience such a perfect combination of flavors. The chef clearly knows exactly what they’re doing, and the service is excellent. A quick note: be prepared to wait for a table about 25 minutes on weekdays and possibly around 40 minutes on weekends, according to my friends who live nearby. They’ve also mentioned that it’s very hard to get a table on weekends. I was absolutely delighted by the food. The potatoes were simply amazing- perfectly cooked inside. I suspect they might boil them before baking, but whatever the method, it was incredibly tasty. My friend and I were both very impressed. The only thing that disappointed me was that some drink prices were missing from the menu, such as lemonade, coffee, and matcha. I also found the price of the matcha lemonade quite high -almost $10. Had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the lemonade very tasty, even though I asked them to reduce the syrup (it usually comes very sweet). I also didn’t realize that extras like fresh mint and syrup were charged separately, and I could barely taste them. So this part was a bit upsetting. I recommend asking about the price of drinks not listed on the menu beforehand. Another nice touch is that in the same building, there’s a small shop selling cosmetics, bags, and, as it seemed to me, a few antique items. There’s also a terrace nearby where you might be able to enjoy drinks, though I didn’t quite figure out how it works. Overall, though, this place is wonderful, and I definitely want to return to try more of their likely delicious dishes.

I gave the food 3 stars because the cornmeal pancakes were super good, and the portion size was just right. The breakfast burrito was tasty too, and the house hot sauce really complimented the flavor. I did notice the burrito had a different flavor style and cut of steak other than what was listed on the menu, the burrito was a handheld because of the cilantro lime sauce that was drzzled on the tortilla. The house potatoes were crispy and seasoned perfectly definitely a highlight. The place has a cool, trendy vibe and seems like a local favorite. It’s in a small historic building, which was really neat. It did get a little noisy, but that just added to the lively atmosphere. There’s also a cute little boutique in the back not part of the restaurant, but fun to check out while you’re there. The host was really friendly and let us choose between a table or bar seating. I wish they had outdoor dining since the weather was perfect that day, but overall, it was a great spot for breakfast with good pancakes and potatoes and nice service.

Heads up: This is mostly a biscuits and gravy review. If you’re craving traditional buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, that’s not what you’ll find here. The biscuit is overly sweet (I think they use cornmeal?) and more crumbly than fluffy. The gravy was thin and saltiness overpowered all other flavors. The best sausage gravy is infused with the flavors of sausage, while this was a little flat/one-note. I would definitely go back to Uncle Wolfie’s to try something else on the menu. My friend’s breakfast burger looked impeccable and the vibes were excellent, even on a random Tuesday morning.

OMG! The food was chef's kiss!💋🤏🏾 My first bite of the Wolfundido had me melt into my seat! No extras needed - eat it as is! All of the flavors happily pop inside your mouth. My plan was to order the Pannise Benedict as my meal and the Wolfundido for take away (because I love me some eggs benny and the reviews were screaming about the Wolfundido). Shortly after I placed my order, the server returned to my table with the menu and told me that the kitchen had run out of biscuits due to the busy morning. So, I ordered what I had planned to take away. After a couple bites, my server walked to my table with the Pannise Benedict!!! WHAAAAT?! She said that the kitchen found some biscuits and the dish was ON THE HOUSE!! 😲 When I told her what my plan had been she said, "It's crazy how the universe works" 💫😉 Listen.... Even without the comped dish, this place delivers great service! And if I were a resident here or had a longer contract, this would be my brunch spot! 🙌🏾 The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. P.S. Don't forget the potatoes! No ketchup needed IMO.

Nestled in the heart of Milwaukee, the Charles Allis Art Museum is a captivating destination that beautifully marries art and history. Set within a stunning Tudor-style mansion once owned by local businessman Charles Allis and his wife Sarah, this museum showcases an impressive collection of 19th-century French and American paintings alongside European masterpieces from the 17th to 20th centuries.
Went during open doors and was free to visit, very unique place . So many beautiful works of art and even the interior is decorated with exquisite wallpaper, rugs and furniture

Visiting this museum was part of an enchanted afternoon in Milwaukee's Lower East Side. You'll have to decide for yourself what's the most appealing: the private art collection or the home itself. I ambled thru the museum at my own pace and enjoyed all of its tranquility. While standing on the second floor marble staircase, I watched a wedding reception on the patio below. What a lovely setting for special occasions.

Awesome little local museum representing the life and art collectioning of Sarah and Charles Allis at the beginning of 20 century. I've had a great hour there. Recommend to visit.

Spent 2 hours. Self- guided tour through three levels including the antique bowling lanes in the basement. Beautiful and eclectic art collections, lovely woodwork and well-preserved home. They had a modern exhibit throughout the home which was a fun mash-up of old and new. All in all a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon

Beautiful old mansion. Well worth a visit.

Gorgeous house museum. First floor focuses on furnishings showing how the family lived plus a diverse and global art collection procured by the Allis family. Upper floor is more minimalist, showcasing temporary exhibits and contemporary local artists. This dual-function house means locals can return with confidence that they’ll see something new each time. And visitors and locals can glimpse into the past thanks to the first floor. Admission here gets you admission to the Villa Terrace Museum, just make sure you obtain proof of ticket purchase. Or even better - purchase a membership! Recommend!

Beautiful historic home, made for a nice walk through. The museum lacked information about the home itself and its art collection. Though the current exhibit ‘Ghosts of Segregation’ was fascinating. $10 wasn’t bad, but like i said would have enjoyed more historic information on the home and individual.

We attended a beautiful wedding there in October! The weather was perfect to walk around the outdoor patio and the large exhibit room was wonderful for dancing. It was fun to explore the museum as the room was being switched from ceremony to reception. Beautiful building! I love the staircase.

Bryant's Cocktail Lounge is a stylish and historic gathering place with a hipster vibe, offering an extensive menu of vintage and creative cocktails. Since its establishment in 1938, this swanky lounge has become known for its deep catalog of over 400 cocktails, including the famous Wisconsin brandy Old Fashioned and ice cream concoctions like the Pink Squirrel. The bar's ambiance takes patrons back to a simpler time, with dim lighting, dark carpeting, and leather chairs.
Hidden gem. Bartenders were knowledgeable and interactive. No menu, the bartenders ask you what you like and they use their mixology talents to whip up amazing libations. I hope bartender Kai is there when you are, he made the whole vibe that much more fun.
Rebecca P — Google review
Didn't eat so can't rate food if it's served here. Drinks were OK but pricey. Service seemed like it was going to be great when we first entered. We were told how it was going to work- "bartender will ask you questions about your tastes & what you like then will make you something special based on that." That's not at all how it went though. Maybe we just came at a bad time 🤷‍♀️
Amanda S — Google review
This speakeasy will take you back many years, has a cool dim lit ground floor bar area with a velvet laced entryway upstairs to another lounge. Just describe your flavor palette and they will create unique drinks all night long.

Gorgeous atmosphere, very intimate and captivating. One of my favorite places to go to on an impromptu date night or mingle with friends. Pick any spirit of your liking and they’ll make one out of over 500 cocktail recipes. Always have had wonderful service and beverages. No food but not why we come to visit.

Great cocktails love the no-menu and historical (supposedly since 1938) aspect. Bartender knew his stuff and whipped up some great riffs on my cues. If you’re a cocktail enthusiast this is the spot in mwke.
Austin C — Google review
No food. This is strictly a cocktail bar. Very dark atmospheric ambiance with jazz playing in the background. The bartender really knows her stuff. She even fixed up a couple of trial NA cocktails for my friend of her own concoctions. There's some great history to this place!
Spike K — Google review
Give the server your likes and dislikes and trust the process. More than 600 drink recipes and while we only had a few they were all amazing. Low light and cozy booths.
Blair L — Google review
Bryant’s cocktail lounge was included in a book called “where the bartenders go” which has yet let me down. Bryant’s cocktail lounge is as advertised. A bar that has hundreds of purposeful and well thought out cocktails. They have a wide variety of classic, prohibition and post prohibition cocktails. They also re-invent those classics and bring them to the new world with unique spins. Recommend you eat first, call an uber and get ready for a wonderful cocktail experience that can be customized to your liking.

We were busy in April with NFL Draft, NBA Playoffs, etc. So I told her well we can always celebrate later so we did in total Roblox theme and 3rd Street Market Hall was PERFECT! They arrived in total style too with 2 limousines, so they were ready to party! Thank you 3rd Street Market Hall for hosting her party via TopGolf Suite! My niece Naomi guest list of 15 turned into nearly 40 kids. We had a party of about 45 total with parents that attended to help out. Omar, Allie & Sam, thank you for the hospitality and coordinating! The kids definitely are still talking about the party 1 month later.

My first time in Milwaukee. I ordered a platter at Creta Mediterranean grill. It says $17.50 on their menu, but on their register it charged me $18, and they had run out of rice. The lady said she cannot change the price and I will have to order as is if I still want it. I went ahead and ordered it- the chicken in the platter was like eating salty cardboard- totally inedible. The fries were cold and limp. I don’t know how they could serve such bad food and charge $18. Please don’t eat chicken at Creta- it’s horrible.

Best Place is a small chain coffee shop that has locations in Milwaukee and Madison. It is especially special because it is located in the former Pabst Brewery building, which was also used as an offices and later as a gift shop and cafe. The brewery was shutdown in 1996 but Jim Haertel, who owns Best Place, bought the building and restored it to its original condition.
Pinnacle spot for taste of MKE history and atmosphere. Yes, you might be waiting for a few minutes as the baristas diligently make your drinks. However, they are worth the wait. Seasonal drinks are plenty and cold brew is simple perfection. The patio is the picture perfect for reading a book with a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. Plus, it’s dog friendly.

Jo was our tour guide and he has been one of our best your guides across the US. He has a passion for history and continues to learn about things. The walking tour was perfect. Can't say how it might compare to the normal tour though. There is plenty of value in the cost of the tours from theamount of beer given for drinking, tour guide info, time length, and the proceeds that go towards renovations/ restorations/ reservations. We bought tickets online but there were enough spots available when we went that you could have bought them at the door. Parking was free and easy on Saturday. 2 hour paid parking otherwise it looked like. There are some food selections at the coffee house connected to Pabst, but otherwise you would have to find food at the food court around the corner or walk a little further for a restaurant. The gift shop is full of fun surprises and unique items.

As a Milwaukee Wedding Photographer, I love weddings at the Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. The venue has two options for weddings: The Great Hall & Speakeasy or the Blue Ribbon Hall & Captains Courtyard. I actually love both options - but the Great Hall & Speakeasy option has more capacity (up to 250!) While the Ribbon hall and Captains courtyard has an out door option for the ceremony (150 max). Both options are fantastic. The prohibition-themed Speakeasy, located under the great hall, is perfect for pre-wedding activities, including hanging out, getting ready (with an attached bridal suite), and cocktail hour, while the Great Hall is transformed from a ceremony space to a reception hall. The Speakeasy boasts its own bar, a cool beer cellar converted into a lounge, and a “drunk cell” that makes for fun photos and a great place to store rowdy groomsmen. The Great Hall started its life as the corporate headquarters of the Pabst Brewery. Many of its original features remain from the original stained glass windows, ornate woodwork, and the cream city brick exterior. Additionally, couples can collect gifts in Frederick Pabst’s old office. Conveniently, there is also a large bar in this space with a great selection of pours that comes in very handy after the space is flipped. The floor is also gorgeous and deserves to be noted! The ceremony space allows couples to make their vows to each other framed by the classic woodwork and backlit by the vintage windows. Some fun history: Joseph A. Zilber, a Milwaukee icon, had a vision to create The Brewery District from the remains of the Pabst Brewing Company in 2006. The Giant Pabst sign was turned from an aging historical artifact into a symbol of Milwaukee’s renaissance. The Best Place lives in the shadow of the giant Pabst sign, and photos with the sign are a must for any wedding in the area!

Its a real life history book in a venue. There for a wedding. So was limited I believe to the whole place. Food , atmosphere, nostalgia and serves was outstanding. Take a walk on the sidewalk with the iron plates for more history of building. Parking was tricky and have the old coin parking meters but it seems weekends are free. There are parking garages around as well.

Ultimate trendy hip food hall with unique choosings. The atmosphere is modern yet inviting wrapped up in an artistic culinary palette. I got KFC special of the day pizza from E&F Pizzaria which had corn, chicken and mashed potatoes and was a fun and tasty experience! The crust is crunch and the toppings made the inside gooey with cheese and delicious! Everyone there was so friendly and willing to help narrow down our options on what sounded good too. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I visited Crossroads Collective for the first time on a Saturday late afternoon with a group of four. As it was between lunch and dinner, we had no trouble ordering and our food was received in a timely fashion. The space is very nice; modern and a good set up with plenty of seating options, be it the bar at the location you’re eating/drinking at or a table to share. The prices seemed reasonable, and the main reason we chose this was the options – it’s great to have half a dozen or so vendors in the same space to choose from. The service was generally friendly, although the parking situation was dire (but hey, it’s the East Side on a Saturday). I opted for Egg & Flour Pasta Bar, and felt my (Creste de Gallo – walnut basil pesto) was good but nothing to rave about; the pasta was a little undercooked for my taste but the pesto that was on it was good. The person preparing it was only wearing one food safety glove, which was off-putting. They were grabbing ingredients with their bare hand and throwing them in the bowl to mix, and then wiping their hand on their pants and apron. The price ($10 + tip) for the portion size I received was good. My friends and significant other chose sandwiches and soups from Frida. My significant other had the Cubano and Pozole Rojo, which they enjoyed. I had a few bites and I thought it was good, but again, nothing phenomenal. The price tag was a little much though; $19 + tip for a small sandwich, a cup of soup, and a small bag of chips. This seemed pretty excessive. One of our dining companions absolutely did not like their sandwich or soup though; they ordered the BLT, which I also found a little weird…bacon, American cheese, and a spring mix-esque purple-y green lettuce that didn’t looked like it belonged on a sandwich. They ended up not being able to eat it and ordered from Heaven’s Table BBQ to go as we were leaving, which looked really good. I would recommend Crossroads Collective if you’re dining with a group and can’t decide on what kind of food you’d like, or would like multiple options conveniently in one location. I would like to go back and check out the raw bar for seafood and Small Pie some time.

Clean and modern interior with excellent options inside all the way from delicious vegan dishes to award winning barbecue, soups, sandwiches and tacos. Definitely not your average "food court" feel. Prices ranging from about $7-15 per entree. Very affordable and options for everyone. Their bar is a great central place to get friendly advice and suggestions or just to sit and have a drink while you figure out what you want. Pro tip: the bar keeps a menu from each vendor available so you don't have to walk around to each place to see what they have. However, I do recommend taking a self-guided tour as each space, although cohesive to the establishment, has its own unique ambiance.

Place is nice, Bar is good. 👍 Food is over expensive and not worth/tasty/as per the picture. 👎 This is a nice at the corner food court/market place. I liked the concept and experience of being there as in - under one roof I can have variety. There are many small independent vendors in the cafe. It has a nice seating, beautiful decor, and good local vibe. 🤩 Thee reason for low rating is taste of the food for me personally. Some people may like it although. Also, I didn’t find the cost justified. Especially from Ruta’s. And, I felt misled for what I ordered. The picture showed a Grilled Veggie sandwich for $13 + $2 for a single slice of cheese. 😡 Similarly, the mushroom pizza slice has countable mushrooms in it, whereas in the picture it was full of it. The bread stick wasn’t well baked. 🥱 Also - there is no coffee. 🙄 I’ll not go back there.

Pizza, empanadas, bao buns, smashed burgers, noodles, artistic coffees, and drinks can all be had here all at once or perhaps over a few visits! I would certainly recommend any noodle dish from Egg & Flour and any, any coffee from Discourse and give the iced coffee and toffee ice cream a shot from Scratch, truly creamy and smooth and full of coffee goodness!

They should tell you this before you buy a tag and they don't give you any paperwork for a receipt. I will not be reserving any more events through the county parks. Everything went well with reserving my venue and holding the date. The on site crew was really nice. However, after my event, it took two and a half weeks to get my security deposit back. First it was waiting for the park manager to report the site as okay. Then it was that the supervisor for the office had to approve. After that it was because they can't transfer over the weekend, even though it was their fault it had to carry over into the weekend in the first place. Even then they told me to expect it on a Friday, a full week after they supposedly sent the transfer and a two and a half weeks after the event. I'm assuming they didn't do it until I called that time.(the beginning of the second week after the event) At the time I'm writing this, I still have not received my deposit. I'm expecting there to be another excuse on Friday. The on site crew was great, but it's not worth the hassle of trying to get my security deposit back even when I left the site as I found it.

With three auditoriums and a bar serving beverages, it offers an unforgettable movie-watching experience.
This isn’t your ordinary movie theater - this feels like an experience every time we go to a movie here. It’s truly like you’ve been transported back into vintage Hollywood! Elegant, quaint, wonderful staff… if I could go to every movie here, I would! Even the bathrooms have charm! Always clean, not so many previews before the movie that you forget what movie you came to! Concessions are great. You pick your seats as you enter and what’s open. I’m even willing to give up reclining seats - seems a fair trade!

Been to this theater numerous times. It's a unique experience, in so many ways. The is one of the few locally owned theaters that isn't playing the standard movie lineup that you get in all the other theaters chains. Her you get a wide variety of oscar winners, documentaries, foreign, art, and other niche genres. The theater itself is a gem for Milwaukee. It has been lovingly restored to much of it's original majestic beauty. The lobby still provides an actual person in the ticket book. Beyond the lobbies are gender bathrooms, that are always cleaned and fully operational. The snack counter has a great collection of cocktails, soda, seltzer, beers and water. The popcorn is fresh and some of the best that you will find in the city. And the staff have always been friendly and helpful. The seats are not the dream loungers, but regular seats that are well padded and comfortable. The seats are kept clean as well as the floors. My sense is that patrons here are doing a much job of helping to keep the place clean, than you might find in other theaters. A great place for catching a great movie.

Great historic movie theater! I especially like the popcorn here, the butter topping is super delicious. Great programming and movie selections, along with the Milwaukee Film Festival each year. I would recommend joining as a member since you get a free members-only movie screening each month and discounts on concessions. If you haven't been to a Rocky Horror showing, it's a can't miss event! It's open seating, so just be aware in case it's a popular 1 night only screening and you're arriving late since you will get the remaining seats. Parking might be a pain if you're not used to the area, but there's usually free street parking nearby after 6pm plus parking structures & lots if you hate to parallel park on a busy east side street. Definitely recommend stopping by one of the nearby bubble tea shops or bars before or after the movie for a sweet treat!

What a cool place! The theater is in a bustling area of Milwaukee and is intimate and unique. The atmosphere is dark and interesting, with lots of "oriental" designs which are beautiful. The accessibility is good, and the acoustics are good for someone like me who has a bit of a hearing impairment. There are plenty of spots for wheelchairs to park, and the sight lines are good from every angle. The refreshment stand has lots to offer, and the restrooms are accessible despite being in an older building. This is not your typical movie theater, and you can see arthouse films along with box office offerings. There is street parking as well as parking garages nearby ($7 for 5 hours), and the costs are super reasonable. Getting here is not a hard drive, and I hope to return soon.

Nice theater, seats are old school but that only bugged me because I've been spoiled by reclining seats at fancy theaters. This theater has a great atmosphere, cool overall vibe. Lives up to its name.

Amazing historic theatre featuring many of its original details, which includes Indian, Moorish, Islamic and Byzantine architectural styles. Its design shows the amazing work of it original artists. The Oriental Theatre was built in 1927 as a single auditorium originally seating over 1,400 guests, but currently it's divided into 3 separate smaller theatres. The Abele Cinema (in center) is the closest you'll get to the original grandeur of a bygone era, but the back rows of the lower level have been removed to accommodate two smaller 220-seat cinemas on each side. Also, the balcony was closed off, so I'm not sure it's ever open for movie seating. Some of the modern updates include 4K digital projection with Dolby Vision 3D; and 35mm and 70mm film projection with 8-channel Dolby Digital Sound in the Abele Cinema. The Theatre's main lobby, restrooms, and concession stand are all wheelchair-accessible, and all three of its auditoriums have reserved seating for guests who use wheelchairs. In addition, all three of its cinemas are equipped with hearing loop technology, enabling any patrons with T-coil hearing aids to receive audio signals directly to their device.

What a beautifully restored, grand theater! It's absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel like you've stepped back in time to the golden age of cinema. I've only seen movies in the main theater, which is also stunning. The selection of films are very well curated and offer film lovers classics across decades and genres. If you're in Milwaukee, you owe it to yourself to stop by and enjoy a film in this wonderful theater.

Awesome theater. Love the throwback movies. Haven’t been in a while because the last two times I went people were talking. I had to ask them to stop both times and it kind of sours the experience. The employees should be responsible for that kind of thing.
