Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Tinley Park White Water Canyon Water Park is a delightful destination for families looking to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. This charming water park boasts two expansive pools, complete with thrilling side-by-side slides and a relaxing 600-foot lazy river that invites guests to float along at their leisure. For younger visitors, there's an engaging sprayground designed specifically for toddlers, as well as a sandy play area filled with toys to spark creativity and joy.
This a very nice waterpark for everyone! Went here on a weekend and the crowd isn't bad. Non Tinley park residents pay $20/person as compared to residents, $5-10/person. They have a lot of life guards and life jackets . Lockers are available. There are alot of areas to enjoy to, a lazy river, place for diving, sand play area. Food bought outside are not allowed inside the park. They have a Cafe with reasonable prices. There was a time where there was a lightning/thunder, we were asked to go to a safe area for 30 mins. It was good that they practice safety.

Visiting your pool yesterday on such a hot day was a great relief from the heat. Your pool is great and always clean never really any issues. Except the bathrooms. I feel an outhouse would've been cleaner. I am more comfortable taking myself and my children to the shower to pee and rinse when we're done then using a toilet. Someone really needs to be responsible for cleaning them throughout the day. So many people on a daily basis bring so many germs, bacteria, and just plain filth.
Kathy R — Google review
Registered the family for the pool pass & the front desk staff was very friendly & helpful.
Wendy R — Google review
A nice small community water park. Not to many people, and the kids had plenty of fun. Would definitely come again.
Derrick C — Google review
The waterpark is a great little waterpark if you live close by. The non resident pricing though is pretty high. There are some cons to the waterpark, such as you are unable to bring food that you order to your lounge chairs, you must sit at a wooden table right by where you order the food. Which is pretty difficult to do when there are dozens of bees, wasps, etc flying around landing on you and your food. It’s ridiculous you can’t just take the food with you to your chairs when they have plenty of trash cans throughout the park. Also, their “splash pad” area has concrete instead of a nice artificial turf or some sort of rubber ground. So that seems a bit dangerous in my opinion. The last thing is you have to have a tube to enter the lazy river, so there ends up being a long line of people just waiting for tubes. I believe they should have separate tubes for the water slide and separate tubes for the lazy river. Overall, it’s a decent little waterpark.
Michelle ( — Google review
I like the lazy river. The water is cool and it flows nicely. The tube floats are clean. I wish they would update the splash pad for the little ones. The water fixtures are rusty and some don't even shoot water. The bathrooms need some upkeep as well.
Danielle — Google review
Locker room changing area was filled with mud and mold, there was poop smeared on one of the changing room curtains. Amenities are compared to Naperville, but the atmosphere of the people would be compared to Cicero/West Garfield Park. Very crowded. Lifeguards were blowing their whistles every 5 minutes because the adults were fighting in the pool, freakin adults. Bags were searched on the way in. I get the bag thing but that means the people coming here are bad and misbehaved enough to where this policy is needed. Not recommended for someone with anxiety issues. Rice Pool in Wheaton doesn't have to do that, nor does it have mud, mold and poop in their locker rooms. Glad to have given this place a shot, but I'd rather drive an hour to a nicer area with a nicer pool
Ashleigh M — Google review
Terrible life guards, my child’s nose got clocked and had a bloody nose right in front of them and they did nothing (I was right there), they did not even acknowledge it let alone offer assistance to me or him, the smaller play area for younger kids that cannot enjoy the big slides is over taken by big kids that plow into younger kids, again life guards do absolutely nothing to remind the kids to WAIT until the bottom of the slides are clear. Very disappointing place to take a child under 7 unless in the slash pad.

Odyssey Fun World is a long-standing family attraction located in Tinley Park, offering a wide range of entertainment options for visitors. The facility boasts an extensive arcade with challenging games and a redemption center where guests can win prizes. Additionally, there are various attractions such as mini-golf, zip lines, batting cages, bumper boats, laser tag, an adventure park with bounce houses, indoor playgrounds, go-karts, and carnival rides.
So, I had a party for my 4 year old and classmates and they loved the place. I know it is older there, but I really love not having a crowd and being able to let the kids run and play. 🎉🎈🥰 This place is very comfortable and relaxing. I'm going to bring the kids back again on rainy days, hot days, or any day that is not suitable for playing outside. ☀️☔️😄
Monica A — Google review
Came for the go-karts—it was my first time, and the experience itself was great. But walking in, there’s zero direction. No greeting, no guidance, no signs about where to get tickets or wristbands. The booth isn’t even near the entrance—you have to wander to find it. At one point we walked straight to the inner tubing area, and the staff seemed ready to let us ride for free without bands. I passed on it though, since I wasn’t planning to get sprayed in the face (one of the features). We eventually made it all the way to the go-karts before realizing we even needed tickets. The place overall felt neglected. From the outside, the building looked faded and run down, and inside, several benches were the same. The lunchroom had multiple dirty tables with no staff in sight. Bathrooms were messy, wet floors, unclean toilets, just not well kept. Sure, there are plenty of games, prizes, and activities, and the go-karts themselves were amazing. But beyond that one highlight, everything else felt like poor upkeep and absent customer service. Most workers seemed distracted, glued to their phones, or just hanging out with friends instead of helping guests. I’m sorry for whoever actually built this place and put it together because it’s not being treated nicely.
Angelena S — Google review
What a FUN place! Came here for a Jeep Dog Charity event. So many cool games, bumper cars, racing and fun! I was taken by surprise by the food. The fries are SO good! Hot dogs were good and the pizza puff. Also the nachos were really good. I had fun & liked the place. :)
Carm A — Google review
Our visit to Odyssey Fun World Tinley Park on October 18, 2025, was absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable. I hadn’t been here in over 15 years and was excited to bring my kids — but that excitement turned into instant regret. Most of the arcade games were broken, and after spending nearly $200, the manager refused to offer any refund or even a small accommodation. My children were crushed. Then, in the ball pit, my 2-year-old threw a ball covered in mold, and when I looked closer, many of the balls were visibly moldy. It was disgusting and unsafe. We tried to salvage the night, but even the ticket system was inaccurate, and my kids earned far fewer tickets than what they actually played for. To make things worse, the candy they picked from the redemption counter was over six months expired. My youngest ate a pack before I noticed and later got diarrhea and a rash on his neck. This place is nothing like it used to be — unsafe, unclean, and poorly managed. My kids left sad, confused, and disappointed. I would never recommend Odyssey Fun World to any family!
Alishia — Google review
This place is fun but the water near the go karts and golf course is SO dirty. And I was told someone drowned in the water. The bridge is super shaky and I was scared the whole time crossing it. They really need to start caring about their business. But we had fun on the go karts and mini golfing.
Ramzy H — Google review
You get your moneys worth with the points for the arcade, but the arcade is not like it used to be, fewer options. Turning in tickets was OK but not enough options if you have a few hundred tickets. The 3-hour wrist bands were awesome, and the place was clean. Can't rate the outside because it rained. I will go back but I will eat some were else. We got supreme nachos, but they did not give us jalapenos after messing up our order but they were very friendly.
Theodore T — Google review
I paid $40 for majority of the games not to work, laser tag is closed and outside is closed because it’s cloudy, and the forecast says NO rain. It’s ridiculous that they charge you, answer your questions knowing the place is basically a ghost play place. Wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this place!
Shanice A — Google review
This place is great! If you like standing around & doing nothing for two hours. I went here on a school field trip (I’m a student) & we received a ton of misinformation about what would be open & available to all of us. We were all told we were too tall to go in the adventure crawl space, only two of the bumper cars worked, we couldn’t get into laser tag despite paying for it, & nothing outside was open. I was told school staff asked weeks in advance if these things would be open, & they said they would. We were then lied too multiple times throughout the trip. When the go karts would be open, when the outside would be open, etc. We were also told that all the game cards we paid for would be unlimited for the entire time we were there. Some kids had more points than others & it was NOT unlimited. (I personally started out with 15 points & only got to play a few games before I ran out) The manager & staff then tried to play damage control, offering us “free” laser tag & go karts, despite the fact we’d already paid for it. In all, I would not recommend coming here for any occasion unless you plan on spending tons of money for little to nothing. (We paid $3000 for 45 kids + chaperones) Go to any other arcade I bet it’d be much better than what we paid for. (These are pictures of me & my classmates standing around, trying to play the games & being turned away from rides)

Roller skating rink
Tinley Park Roller Rink is a classic roller skating venue with a nostalgic ambiance, complete with a disco ball. Owned by the Quitters, a renowned pairs skating couple, the rink offers family-friendly events and open skates. It features age-group scheduling for public skating sessions, as well as theme nights with DJs and line dancing. The staff is known for their warm welcome and helpfulness. Visitors have praised the accommodating party booking process and enjoyable experience for children's birthday parties.
THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME. It felt like the 80’s again. Decor was awesome and music was pretty good. The arcade was small but fun and I won a few prizes. However when I went to get food staff there had a little bit of attitude but otherwise this was one of the coolest places I have been. P.S go on new years it gets crowded but it is so much fun.

Had a bad experience with the party planner named Deonna from the very start all the way to the end of my party. Every question I asked she answered rudely and with an attitude. I can believe they would put someone with that type of personality to work with customers. The other staff on shift was friendly and helpful so good that reason, I'm willing to give some stars.
Lisa R — Google review
Had daughter’s birthday. She had a blasted it was fun. Easy to book a party very nice to work with pizza was good hot and came on time it was a win win! I would definitely have another party there for my other children.

The Tinley Park Roller Rink is amazing!! Welcoming and friendly staff, clean facility, and good food/drinks. The DJ on Saturday evening 8pm-11pm (I think his name was DJ Smooth) curated the vibe! The entire experience was enjoyable!! We will definitely come back!

My daughter had THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY here and the staff went above and beyond to ensure it happened perfectly! The rink was clean and well organized. Confortable for parents to let kids go and enjoy. Will be back!

Took me back to teenage years. Lots of fun. Staff very accommodating. The kids had a blast. Great value!!
Audrey G — Google review
I'll share both pros and cons. Cons: 1. No air conditioning, it's hot and very uncomfortable. 2. Very packed. I'm not complaining about families wanting to bring their loved ones, but there should be a capacity that's reasonable. 3. Needs some updating, especially the transition from carpet to skating area needs some attention. 4. There was only 1 attended for skate rentals and to run the rink. She was great and attentive but just a lot for 1 person to manage, successfully. 5. No beginner skater helpers. 6. Food is a bit overpriced. Pros: 1. Very good price to take children. 2. It's a nice rink area overall. 3. Family friendly. 4. Employees seem to want to be at work and help. 5. Music was appropriate to the age group in attendance. 6. Interactive announcer. 7. Fun Place!
Maria C — Google review
Horrible experience. Went for a birthday party, AC was not working. It was hot and uncomfortable. Seems like an health hazard to me? It even still smells like the 80’s in here. The only staff I seen was the young girl at the skate rental, and she seemed bothered she had to be there.

Tasty beer. I recommend VZS Marshmallow. Vlad Vs Zombies Vs Sharks: a Russian Imperial Stout aged in Blanton’s bourbon barrels, clocking in at 18%. Very smooth though. Dominatrix, a triple IPA, also good.
Rick B — Google review
Stopped in to check out the adult book fair. They have plenty of pinball games to play. Sometimes, the line to get drinks is rather long. It was busy that day, so there were not too many places to sit. The book fair was a little small, but they did keep restocking books, and they had some neat things. Parking was a bit of a hassle. It was an ok place, but it was really not our vibe.
Brenda B — Google review
This review is only related to the pub grub ordered during a brunch / lunch visit. The biscuits and gravy was excellent. Its an ample amount of food on the plate. The biscuits was buttery and flaky, holding up well to the sausage gravy. The gravy was flavorful, fatty and peppery. For lunch, had the beef on weck which was good but the roast beef was a bit too tough and could have been cut thinner. I liked the salt and caraway seeds on the bun which cut through the fatty roast beef and horseradish aoli, but it was a bit messy. Also, if you are not into the salt, it can be a bit overpowering. But it was still fulfilling. The atmosphere is inviting and all the staff was friendly and attentive. Will visit more of the food menu during future specific stout releases.

Good beer, really good atmosphere. The live music was way too loud

Great beers all around! We've been several times and attended the Oktoberfest last night. Beer was great, pretzel was great, and place was packed just like a real beer hall! Def make your way here!

Hailstorm Brewery Review Ambiance: Hailstorm Brewery boasts a beautiful layout and spacious interior, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy their craft beverages. Blueberry Cider: I had the opportunity to try their Blueberry Cider, a refreshing cider with a 6% ABV and coming in a 13oz serving. Overall: Based on the beautiful ambiance and the description of the Blueberry Cider, I would recommend Hailstorm Brewery to anyone looking for a welcoming place to enjoy a delicious cider. The 6% ABV suggests a cider with a good balance between sweetness and tartness, while the 13oz serving size is perfect for enjoying a flavorful cider without being overwhelmed.

Great place to go and enjoy a cold freshly brewed beer while listening to some live music on certain days. The beer selection is very good and very tasty. They also have a limited bar food menu and a few other snacks. The patio area is a nice addition to the taproom. The atmosphere here is kind of laid back. The one thing I didn't like is that there's no TV'S and no bar stools to seat at the bar. The parking lot seemed kind small for the size of the taproom.

Store is half empty and normal prices for little they do have. Not an outlet. Better off going to worlds finest outlet
Ashley E — Google review
The rudest, most condescending staff work at this location. There’s nothing ever in stock, the employees are unhelpful and the shelves are half empty. Don’t get me started on the manager, Danielle. I’ve gone in this location several times and each time she’s rude to me and especially to her employees. I would rather drive the extra 25 minutes and go to any other fannie may than to this one, even if it means paying a bit more — at least the candy would be fresh and not served with an attitude.
Taylor M — Google review
The best prices for your favorite Fannie May candies is at this location. You will need to convert the Julian calendar to determine the expiration date.
Judith O — Google review
Ordered Dixies which is Carmel with pecans both rolled into a ball .. idk what they've been doing to the recipe but they are def skimping on quality bc the caramel doesn't even stretch anymore the entire thing just crumbles if you squeeze it. It's like caramel paste or something weird .. got the nerve to raise prices but give out worse quality than ever before. I could see raising prices but keeping same quality.. raising them and being cheap on products is Nottt acceptable
Courtney D — Google review
Went here to buy marshmallow easter eggs said they were out of them bought other things tried using the $10.00 coupon they sent me but there’s a catch you can’t buy discounted items and still use the coupon the hook to catch the fish! Be careful!

Okay... I will be easy. This is an outlet store so, I say okay for the minor inventory. Still does not negate the fact that it really is minorrrrr inventory. It's like, what's the point? Fannie May could sale these same products at a local grocer and recoup cost by not having to lease this storefront. I'm okay with the pricing and the candy was exquisite as always for American chocolate. I gave them four stars for customer service. The young lady at the cash register was very warm and welcoming.

The Plush Horse Ice Cream Shop in Tinley Park offers a nostalgic ambiance with its monochrome tiles, creating a timeless atmosphere for customers to enjoy their handcrafted desserts. The ice cream has an acceptable quality overall, with a good texture, although some flavors lack the desired intensity. For instance, the butter pecan and butterfinger flavors could use more distinct tastes. Nonetheless, the friendly staff is patient and accommodating towards children who sample various flavors.
This plush horse location is absolutely phenomenal. The staff there was beyond kind and friendly. Of course, all of their ice cream is homemade, so it goes without saying that, that was absolutely delicious. This time I enjoyed the key lime pie. Ice cream with Graham cracker crumbs in it. It was absolutely phenomenal. I would like to give a special shout out to the manager who went out of their way to help something to do with my kindergarten class. It was very nice of him. Thank you so much for being a great location. And having a great product and a great product and a great staff. Kudos to all of you.

I know the other location has more history and looks cooler and whatnot, but this location is better in my opinion. There's never a huge line and I can take my time reviewing options for me and the kids without worrying I'm holding up a line. Plenty of seating and the parking lot is fairly ample. Last but definitely not least, their ice cream is fantastic.

Decided to come here with a friend. Their cookies were delicious. Ended up purchasing a valentine cookie along with a sundae. The sundae consisted of Grasshopper flavored ice cream with gummy bears, hot fudge, and nuts. Aside from the treats and ice cream flavors, I really appreciated the customer service. When I first got the sundae, I noticed the gummy bears were missing on my sundae. When addressed this, one of the staff members fixed my order and it made my night. I’d come back again.

Loved the high rise section and the other build tables as well. My son was proud to display his fine creations. LEGOs are awesome and we had alot of fun! I even won the race 🏁

The Tinley Park convention center is great for small to medium size events. I have been here a few times and have never had any issues. It's spacious enough where you could get a pretty large group setting, but small enough that you don't have to walk for miles to get from one side to the other. The lighting is always good. The food and snacks are not great but adequate. There is plenty of parking for the size of the venue.

I'm traveling through the state as a brand new travel trailer owner Not booking a spot early in the year for Labor day weekend won't happen again. Every place is booked till the 5th. I'm learning. I am wasting time in their parking lot till my place is open

My daughter graduation was on the 29th. And it was held here. The place was clean and everything was well organized.

Attended here for an event, the venue was nice large and open. The food left a lot to be desired. the bathroom cleanliness was subpar. Not being too harsh though as generally events with tens of thousands of people, it’s hard for staff to keep up.

A good better-than-barebones expo center. It's starting to show it's age though: lots of wear and tear out in the public areas and bathrooms, water fountains broken, etc. my real complaint though is the food on site. Not only is the quality terrible, but it's also priced absurdly high. I'll be bringing my own food next time I visit.

Lots of rooms from small to big to fit all your event purposes while you stay upstairs to ensure you make it to your event on time. Stores are pretty close by and a little snack shop in the lobby. Did two weddings here the same day(shows how popular it is).

Centennial Park is a delightful oasis for both people and their furry companions, offering ample space for dogs to frolic and socialize. With dedicated areas for small dogs, waste receptacles, and even a rinsing station, it’s a pet-friendly haven. The park features a scenic walking trail that meanders around a large retention pond, providing stunning views of nature.
Beautiful nature, nice walk, very fresh air!

Beautiful park with a walking trail around a large retention pond. The trail could use slightly better grading to deal with a deep slant or two, but the elevation changes or something you wouldn’t expect here — it’s great to see retention ponds used so well. There’s also a pier for fishing , lots of seating around the pond for those who can’t make it all the way around without stopping, and plenty of playground space and picnic tables, which were full on a Sunday afternoon
David S — Google review
Beautiful park! Water level rise up today on some lower areas but there's alternate route to take! Still beautiful scenery!
Mary C — Google review
I found this park to be amazing. If you like nature, walking, biking, sand volleyball, baseball or softball, kid playgrounds, family or group picnics, basketball, skateboarding, fishing this place has it all. Just a lap around the 12 acre lake will give you 5000 to 6000 steps. The nature is beautiful and it ties into McCarthy Park and Tinley Junction so there are also batting cages, miniature golf, concession stand and plenty of places to gather. If you haven't checked this place out, you should definitely do so.

Very nice park, with a large pond that could be used for fishing. Ample parking, even though many people were there.

The weather is beautiful and is getting better now. Spring is in the air. If you've been spending way too much time indoors because of the snow and gloomy freezing wintery weather, now is the time to get back to outdoor activities, wake up those bodily muscles that have been asleep for months. Enjoy the spring air, natural scenery and the sounds of beautiful birds chirping, if you want all of these wonderful things, you need to go to centennial park. You can enjoy a brisk walk, a stroll, jogging, running, riding a bike. You can sit and watch ducks and sea gulls. Or enjoy quietness while fishing. There are a lot of things to do at centennial park. You can even hold gatherings with family and friends, while your children paly in the playground and you enjoy a meal without being confined in a house. I extremely recommend this place, come out and enjoy before winter creeps up again.

Great walking trail around a small man made lake, maybe a mile or a bit more, you can fish with a permit but no swimming or boating. Fun playground for kids about age 3 and up, lots of benches, tables, and grass. A small skate park for older kids and a Porta potty by the play ground is also nice for just in case. There is also a work out station across the parking lot from the play ground. Over all a great park with just the right amenities :)

I went for meetup event and was my first time at this park. It was very nice, well maintained and not overly crowded. We had our girl talk in beautiful environment. I will definitely return to try walking trail and check out the rest of the park.

Tinley Park Public Library is a standout in the South Suburbs, offering a stunning boardwalk for families to explore preserved wetland and prairie areas. Inside, the second floor features a children's area filled with books, Legos, and puzzles. The library also participates in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten reading challenge. Visitors praise its cleanliness and spaciousness, especially enjoying the toddler area with various activities.
This library is one of my favorites! It's beautiful inside and out, and it's always clean and well-kept. I sometimes take my kids there because the entire upstairs is perfect for them. There's a little toddler area with lots of fun activities. It's pretty big, too. I love that there are so many places to read, and it's always nice and spacious. My kids have always had a great time at the drop-in activities here. On the 15th of every month, I am able to sign them up for the following month of activities. We are interested in the family nights. I will also be bringing my almost 8 year old to do some of the new activities they have...there are some that are "drop in" which means you can just come in and you don't have to sign up. The other ones I have to either call, website or in person. They are super friendly here and very helpful ☺️

This library is great, but it’s going through lots of renovations on the second floor, so there isn’t much area there. All the computers were taken away, and most areas are closed off. But the first floor is amazing. It’s nice, there is a fireplace, computers, and movies! They have a nice selection of books, and they even have games for PS and X-box that you can rent. It’s a great library, and u would definitely come here.
Ademide L — Google review
The library staff is absolutely awesome! They do an incredible job with storytime. They are friendly, warm and greet everyone especially the children with a smile. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding books we are interested in. We were at the Lego train event. Our grandchildren loved it ages 3 and 5.

This library has a great organization of books, amazing stock, helpful information, and very informative signage, it’s a lovely library with crafty decor! Would recommend, it’s a vast, resourceful place!

I once made a review about the noise, but they really listen to their guests, it has improved. I signed up for a library card and Kathy was beyond sweet and helpful. This library is like my “third place.” Its great, staff is amazing, and I get work done with ease here. Thank you TPPL, and thank you Kathy!!
J H — Google review
Excellent library, from what I've seen! They have good parking, very friendly staff🙏, high quality books/DVDs for sale, etc! To top it off, the library has a BEAUTIFUL WATERFALL🌟 at the front entrance. Almost makes me want to move to Tinley Park (except for the relatively high taxes)!
Richard K — Google review
They are nice people but the services are not welcome to everyone . I never had a problem anywhere else with getting a study room but for some odd reason you have to have a card specifically with them to access a study room . They even gave me the runaround with an interlibrary loan but everyone else does not . If I could go anywhere else to do the interlibrary loan I would’ve done that but trying to push me off was feeling like if you don’t want to and can’t just be blunt about that .
Alaj — Google review
Visit your local library and check out things, its a great activity for anyone to do even if you don't read it all! Their study rooms are great and they let you book 2 hour windows to chat in and have a whiteboard to write on. Also the staff is so wonderful and knowledgeable, this is a good library and should be open later because its very relaxing to sit down and chill or study here

Volunteer Park in Tinley Park offers a range of activities for kids of all ages. The playground features a zipline and a large play structure for older children, while younger ones can enjoy swings, slides, and pretend play stations. The park is well-maintained with pristine equipment including 3-level slides and toddler play spaces. There are also basketball and sand volleyball courts, a baseball field, and walking trails available.
Had our large family picnic at the Pavillion. Even though it rained (a lot!!) We stayed dry. The water didn't come up onto the picnic/covered area. The drainage of the whole area was good. We were able to get to Port a potties (in good condition and handicap accessible) and playground without puddles. There's a large grassy area between the playground and picnic area. This is great for playing and for separating parties from the playground area, while still being close enough to monitor the kids who wanted to play there. Water fountain available. Plenty of garbage cans, just far enough away to keep the bees away. They even have permanent bean bags boards! Just bring your own bags. Great picnic- even though it rained we were still able to enjoy the day!!
Kristen N — Google review
Be aware that there is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the actual park. The park is pretty nice. Seems fairly new and it's being kept up pretty well. It's the first one I've seen with a Zipline. It has two smaller areas for really young kids and a massive structure with some really tall slides. My 3 year old likes it but he is a bit too young for the big structure and a bit too old for the small structure. There is a better park nearby for his age group.
Nijaal M — Google review
Excellent park for the kids. Equipment is in good shape with things for both younger and older children. Variety of slides, a short zip line, musical toys, and lots of opportunities to climb.
Dean S — Google review
Great park, lots of different things to climb on and giant slides for older kids and multiple small play areas for the young ones. Park does get very crowded
Daniel D — Google review
My kids love this park. I think there are two things that they could improve: the first is more tables under shade near the playground itself. There are currently two tables under an awning but every time we have been there they are full. There are benches but they're in full sun. A few more shaded areas would be nice. The second is port a potties near the playground. The port a potties are currently located at the parking lot which is quite a hike when you're carrying a toddler who waited too long to ask for the bathroom. 😂 This park has always been clean and well maintained. The port a potties are well maintained too.

In our mission to review and post updated pictures of playgrounds in the Tinley Park area, we decided it was time to review Volunteer Park. No pictures were necessary this time around due to the current abundance. This park is wonderful. With everything from 3-level slides, a toddler play space, all the swings one would ever want, and a well-kept zip line. Everything is pristine here and you’ll find kids of all ages and abilities enjoying this park. Also, talk about green spade! It provides access to a soccer field, volleyball court, baseball field, basketball courts, walking paths, and built in bags/cornhole. It’s a great place to play and appreciate the joy all around. The only pitfall to this park is the sun’s ferocious heat on all the toddler equipment on summer afternoons. We call this park as “zip line park” because when I identify it any other way, I get a 4-year old reprimand. We give this park a wonderful 10/10

These family-friendly events offer a range of music genres and provide food tents for refreshments. Additionally, the plaza is home to various attractions such as the Caribbean fest, farmer's market, and scenic park benches.
I have watched our little Tinley Park Farmers Market grow so big after over the years. It’s recently become an event with the anticipation of moving to Harmony Square and you can feel the momentum in the air. We like to buy our fresh produce, bacon, coffee, bakery goods here on Saturday mornings from local growers and artisans. It’s such a treat to have in our neighborhood. We miss the Rise and Roll bakery though! Come back!!!

The Vogt Visual Arts Center is a charming gallery located in the historic home of Tinley Park's first mayor, Henry Vogt. Established in 1996, it showcases the works of both local and renowned artists through captivating temporary exhibitions dedicated to specific artists or broader movements and themes. The center also offers a diverse range of classes for people of all ages, covering skills such as watercolors, stained glass, and ceramics. Additionally, it hosts various events including art fairs and concerts.
We accidentally discovered this Tinley Park VOGT visual art center and we were sooooo glad we did! My 9 years old was over the moon with all the trains, trains and more trains!!!!! They had multiple displays of trains all over the place. And it was FREE to visit. The staff was so nice and friendly and most of the trains belong to them where they put it on display for us to see and admire. I love the little details around the trains with Santa, reindeers and if you look closely, you'll see the back to the future car and even Batman and Robin! The young conductor showed us how to operate the toy trains and even let my 9 years old drive it. He had a blast. The thought, time and hard work they put into the display were simply amazing. It was soooo beautifully done and there were pictures of the old Tinley Park train stations hanging all over the place. If you're ever in the area, please stop by and check them out. They put in so much work so for all the little boys and girls in us who loves train can enjoy a wonderful time learning and seeing all the cool trains!

Highly recommend. Very easy to submit your artwork on display for monthly art shows. This includes opening nights which are very pleasant and opened to the public several days a week. Ambiance is in an old Victorian home. There are classes held upstairs. Worth visiting admission is free.

Once upon a time, this was a very neat place to be. This was an inclusive environment that held all kinds of events, including art shows for Easter Seals. Then, something changed. They abruptly stopped allowing another transition program to come for job training recently. Apparently they have new owners or management or something, but it's not a place I'd associate with anymore.

Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre, formerly known as the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, is a popular live music venue that can accommodate up to 12,000 people with pavilion and lawn seating. Visitors have praised the well-designed space and ample parking options. The venue offers easy access from both sides and provides various concessions for attendees. While some find the pricing of food and beverages on the higher side, others recommend being prepared for security checkpoints to save time.
Last night was my first experience at this venue. I saw KESHA!! We had a great time! This is a great place with lots of seating available including under the awning, on the balcony (also under the awning), grass seats, and more specialized seats with your own server! Though we didn't sit on the balcony, it looked to me like there were bathrooms and bars on every floor. But the best part was when you sat down, you had space to sit and weren't crammed in next to people (I'm thick and really appreciated this). I also dropped my ID and decided to leave a message with the admin office. They called me this morning and I had it back in my hands before we even left. Not only did they go above and beyond for me, but the venue was beautiful, spacious, and clean. I never once waited in a line longer than 5 people. And of course, the show, which was sold out, was absolutely fantastic!!! I can't wait to come to this venue again. Here are a few photos ❤️

Went to see Twenty One Pilots there with my son and hadn’t been there since the very first lollapalooza. It brought back a lot of memories. The venue staff was fantastic. Got us through the lines quickly and kept the place moving.
JJ — Google review
The amphitheatre is really nice! The sound system is good, and there's a nice breeze in the venue, which was great during a high-energy show like Twenty One Pilots. The staff is helpful and friendly. One of the parking lot attendants went the extra mile to help us find our parking lot. However, venue attendees aren't as considerate. The excessive drinking and eating by some of the people in our row made the experience less enjoyable, especially when there are pizza boxes and beer cans all over the ground and there's no room for your legs. During the concert, weed and cigarette smoke wafted into the stands. This wasn't fair or considerate of other concert-goers. While it's a nice venue, other attendees make it less enjoyable, especially those smoking around others. Is this even allowed?
Leina E — Google review
One of my favorite venues! Great sound, easy parking, and friendly staff. They bring great bands every year, and it’s always fun! Security is great; they keep things organized and people under control. Beer and alcohol prices have gone up and are a bit overpriced. Expect to pay between 16-18 dollars for a beer and 20++ for other drinks. They keep bringing more food vendors so you have a few options for food. Overall, it’s a great place to have a good time and enjoy some great music!
Marco R — Google review
Loved every minute of being here for Big Time Rush!! The staff was more than equipped to handle such a crowd. I was impressed with how efficiently equipped the staff was at parking, security, food lines and bathrooms. All the staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient with their service! My party and I were more than happy with the free refills on our fountain drinks since it was such a hot summer day. I am looking forward to my next event here!! Music was awesome and the show was absolutely perfect!! Thanks guys for being so equipped with making this night so memorable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a great time!! We went for Jonas Brothers and had lawn seating. The staff their were very friendly. My only complaint would be the pricing.. if you plan on getting any kind of adult alcohol drinks plan on taking a loan out before hand 🤣 .. $25 for one drink was probably the most expensive hangover I'd ever paid for. 🤣
Katie R — Google review
Giving them a 5, because I was treated with so much love from our Ticket concierge ladies! Was a FANTASTIC birthday for me and my bestie. They were able to get us upgraded seats from the lawn to Row Y, which was amazing and so much appreciated. However… the ticket concierge package, in my opinion, is not worth the price. You do get convenient parking, a “lounge” section which is just some patio furniture (which was wet) and some tables. We had free waters given to us & there were Private restroom trailers. You do have the choice to be escorted through the grounds, or to the front of any lines. Which was nice going to our seats with because we were able quickly by-pass the security/ticket checkers. However, the lines weren’t bad ❗️If there would have been any kind of view of the stage from the lounge, or even have screens up… it would be worth it. But there is NO VIEW of the stage and that was disappointing as it kinda defeats wanting to be in the lounge area. Now, that is just about the upgrade package, which is an add on to your ticket purchase. The venue itself, all staff was very friendly. Grounds seemed clean, everything felt safe, they had photo op boards in multiple places, lots of food, drinks and merchandise sales flowed quickly- Ps. Vicky in concierge was PHENOMENAL and the absolute sweetest! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Always Love the lawn seats for the price! Ive seen Alot of phenomenal bands there for less than $40. Leaving the parking lot is Hell at nights end And the liquor prices are high but on par with other large venues these days. Lawn seats, bring a blanket! Jenny our server was awesome!!! Had a party of 14 after a special family event and Jenny was extremely attentive and very nice. The pizza seemed a little different from the last time I was here last October. Bar is great. They have any drink or beer you want. Appetizers were awesome.

Came here Sunday for the bears 1 topping family specially for $19.61. Also had the appetizer platter. Unfortunately the onion rings were deep fried to death and my wings had no sauce. For the price you’re better off picking 2 apps instead of the platter since it only includes 2 wings. The pizza was a great thin crust and our server Joe was very friendly and his service was on point. I will come back, bust not for the app platter.

Came here on a friend's recommendation. We ordered a thin crust pizza with ham, bacon, and pineapple (no judgement please). We have had a LOT of pizza from quite a few places. This was, hands down, the BEST we have had. Ham and bacon is always wonderful, but the pineapple was absolutely delightful. Perfection. Service was fantastic - and the turtle cheesecake was wonderful.

Was there on Saturday, August, 24th. Waited 2 hours for a pizza. And all we were told was that "we are busy". No apologies. Not even a compensation for the super long wait. This is completely unacceptable! And in the end, the pizza didnt even taste good. Judging by a couple other comments here, im not the only one that had this issue. I absolutely will not be back!

Cold January afternoon we decided to venture out a little further. My wife and I were getting tired of the same restaurants in our immediate area. Both craving pizza. We drove out to Tinley. Not many people there just after noon. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I can see this place hopping around dinner time. We ordered a couple small pizzas and an app to get a good idea of what they had to offer. Sausage and mushrooms, and the Sinatra. Started with the spinach dip. Everything was delicious.

Love it. ❤️ When my daughter was younger she asked me if we were Italian. I said your Great Grandfather was and your other Grandfather is from Louisiana. I was killing it in the kitchen. I made an Italian dish everyday. I felt ask if they were cooking with me. 😢

Haven't been here in about 17 years! Couldn't wait to check out the store after all these years. Same as I remember. Got some lasagna and chicken parm to take home. Food is delish, service awesome and the store is organized nicely and clean. Highly recommend!!!

It's a neighborhood Italian deli and grocery store where we get all our fave Italian goods and grab a custom made deli sandwich for lunch or a quick dinner. Some of my faves are their spinach lasagna, minestrone soup, chicken noodle soup, Italian sausage, and cannolis. All their items are homemade. I also like getting a 10in turkey, ham & Swiss sub. It's build your own for $9.99 and it's so much better and fresher than Subway! Rubinos is pricey and sometimes you do have to wait in line a for long time at deli-meat counter to get your stuff but it is worth it. One downside is they started charging a fee for using a credit or debit card tho instead of cash. So bring cash if you want to avoid the fee. You can't get out of there without spending at least $100 it seems so be prepared...

Families appreciate the restaurant's accommodating seating arrangements, which are perfect for little ones in highchairs. Had a great experience at dinner on a Monday evening. Food was outstanding at the hibachi, as was the service.

I've always enjoyed the food here. I feel like the filet mingnon is always a quality cut of meat, the vegetables are always full, crisp and flavorful and the the shrimp aren't those shrimp that shrink up in most shrim fried rice combo deals lol. The portions served here are very plentiful also. The service here isn't horrible but could be better. Often times the waiter takes drink orders then has to ask you to repeat yourself because she was going around the table taking other drink orders and collecting menus. Also be aware of the 18% included restaurant fee.

I was in town visiting family and friends for the holidays. One of my old coworkers took me here and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the lemon 🍋 🍸drop martini was yummy.

Food was great but I would say it’s overpriced. We got soft shell crab for appetizer and I love the soft shell crab! My husband ordered fillet mignon and shrimp hibachi and I got steak and squid hibachi. The meat was cooked well and was very tender. My squid (they called it calamari) was cooked great as well. Our teppanyaki chef was very skilled and entertaining. Kudos to him he is excellent! The atmosphere was ok. Dim lights sets the mood but the surrounding was too noisy that we cant barely hear our server asking questions.

I’m a repeat customer for the last 10 years. This is the first time I was very disappointed. I came to celebrate my birthday with family. Food was good, but the experience felt very rushed. The whole thing felt very uncomfortable since they were trying to get us in and out. The cook barely interacted with us which is the whole point of going to a hibachi restaurant. I won’t be going back and I recommend others going else where as well.
Marissa C — Google review
We came here a few days ago on a Friday night and made a last-minute reservation. To my surprise they were able to accommodate us right away. I’m pretty sure they newly renovated some of the space, and it looks great. Everything looked very clean. Our hibachi chef was so fun and pleasant, he made it an enjoyable experience for everyone on the table. Half of our group had never had hibachi before, and he made a very good first impression. The mushroom soup was delicious and the ginger salad is a staple. I wish they had different water cups, for some reason they felt dirty to everyone on the table. The meats, shrimp and chicken we’re all delicious. The noodles are addicting and the fried rice was perfect. Excellent service, would definitely return!

The Open Bottle in Tinley Park is a popular beer shop and tap room that offers a diverse selection of beers from local and international breweries. The owners, Patrick and Julie, are known for their flexibility and generosity, while the staff is highly praised for being friendly and knowledgeable about different beer styles. The establishment allows outside food to be brought in, making it a great place to enjoy a drink with your favorite meal.
This place has been our staple for 10 years. Not only are Patrick and Julie flexible and generous owners, but the staff is phenomenal. It’s home for us. Everyone knows us by name and knows what we are drinking. They know our styles. They are one of the few brewery/bottle shops in the area that are truly dog friendly. We bring our boy, my mom’s dogs, and they have adoption/fundraising events for dogs. Thank you for always being an amazing business that is welcoming of all 2-4 leg beings!
Lauren G — Google review
It deeply saddens me to see one of the most community and customer friendly small businesses in the area being slandered by hearsay. I’ve been a customer of the Open Bottle since the first opened, and there is no business I would support more. As far as these fake “allegations” go, they are completely erroneous. The owners and staff are some of the most kind, caring, and respectful people I know…ESPECIALLY when it comes to dogs and veterans. They have LITERALLY had events for veterans and dogs, among other various charitable fundraisers they have sponsored. If anyone writing a negative review about this place actually went there instead of just believing something they read on the internet, they would understand too. It’s sad that we live in a world where everyone believes everything they’re told without hearing two sides. On a personal note, I had a battle with cancer 4 years ago where I wasn’t allowed to drink..and when I finally beat it, the open bottle was the first place I went to celebrate. When the owners, Patrick, Julie, and the general manager Erin (3 of the sweetest people I knew) found out why it was my first time there in several months, I was greeted with a growler on the house as a gift. If that doesn’t speak to you about the character, class, and love that these people have for their customers, I don’t know what will. I beg anyone reading these nasty reviews to actually come in to the open bottle and see what a great business and community it is…or just keep reading stuff on Facebook and listening to lies. Your choice.

Great selection on tap. And KILLER selection to go. It's not a liquor store though- you can pay a small fee to drink your beers there. They offer Bingo, Yoga, a Running Club, tastings ALL the time. They just had a movie night. They offer more than I've even tried but I will keep coming back :-) Our area needed places like this. It's great to see that they are popping up and doing well.
Alejandra — Google review
Amazing place for those who like to try a variety of only the best beers/brewers around. They have a fairly straightforward website to browse and place orders for pickup. Better yet, they have a taproom so you can sit down and indulge in a cold beer when picking up your orders or browse and buy in person.

Happened across this place, and it is everything I look for in a beer store / bottle shop. Lots of local beer. Can buy individual cans or bottles. Super helpful staff. Clean environment. Very well organized and displayed. So far away from my apartment, but definitely want to return.

Tandoori House Indian Cuisine in Tinley Park offers a menu curated by four brothers, featuring favorite Indian recipes made with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is praised for its authentic Indian cuisine and friendly staff who provide attentive service without rushing customers. It's considered a hidden gem with amazing food, making it a recommended spot for those looking to try something new.
This was the first time that I have been at Tandoori and I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was good but quiet which makes it a bit of uncomfortable to talk out loud. The server was kind and attentive but the food take a long time to come out. There was only one person taking dine-in orders and additional person would help with pick-up orders which is a management issue for having two employees on a Sunday afternoon. Apart from that, amazing food, service was amazing and was attentive and would definitely come back!

🍛🔥 A Flavorful Indian Feast at Tandoori House! 🍗🍚 Tandoori House Indian Cuisine offers an authentic Indian dining experience, bringing together rich spices, smoky tandoori flavors, and comforting curries. However, the wait time was a little longer than expected, especially when it came to drink refills. That said, they remained attentive and professional, ensuring that everything was served fresh and hot. --- 🎶 Atmosphere – Cozy & Traditional! ✨ The restaurant had warm lighting, traditional Indian décor, and a relaxed ambiance. It was a comfortable space to enjoy a hearty meal, though it could feel a bit crowded during peak hours. ✔️ A cozy and inviting place to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine! --- ⭐ Final Verdict – A Must-Visit for Indian Food Lovers! 🇮🇳 ✅ Food: Rich, bold, and expertly seasoned—each dish was full of authentic flavors! ✅ Service: Friendly and knowledgeable, but slightly slow. ✅ Ambience: Warm and inviting, though it can get busy. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine this the right place in Tinley Park, IL

After reading the reviews on Google Maps and Yelp, I've landing on Tandoori House Indian Cuisine in the Tinley Park neighborhood. It's my first time trying Indian food, and Tandoori House did not disappoint. Upon arrival, you must stand in the same line as the patrons getting carry-out orders. I can imagine depending on the day of the week and time of day, this can be a very slow process. We arrived on a Saturday night around 7pm, and waited about 20 minutes to be seated.  The clerk at the desk was handling multiple tasks. Once seated, we were able to order right away, however the food did take a while to come out, approximately 20 minutes before our appetizer arrived. I checked out the menu before arriving, and had an idea of what I wanted. Thankfully the menus explained all the ingredients for each course, and our hostess asked for our spice level preference. Since it was my first time eating Indian food, I looked for foods that were different, but familiar. Everything was delicious and flavorful.  The portion sizes are huge. I had left overs for two days! Whether you're a longtime fan of Indian cuisine or just exploring something new, Tandoori House offers a warm and inviting space that feels like a home away from home.

Traveled from downtown Chicago to try this place. Hands down, they have the best Chicken Makhani (reminds me of butter chicken) which is absolutely fantastic. Chicken Briyani, also great. But definitely will forever crave Chicken Makhani from now on 🤤 Staff is also amazing, welcoming, & run a very clean house inside.

First time trying Indian food and omg did not disappoint . It was AMAZING. I was intimidated since I’ve never had Indian food before, and didn’t know what to get-but Lucas at the front was awesome and so kind. He recommended me foods to try, and all were amazing! Definitely going back.

Tandoori House is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in the suburbs. The food is excellent, and you can tell from the care and time they put into cooking each dish. If you’re expecting food in 10 minutes, this might not be your spot—but if you want authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine, it’s absolutely worth it. Lucas is amazing to deal with—always cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. Be patient when ordering—the food is definitely worth the wait!

Crack The Code Room Escape Tinley is a popular escape room attraction in the Chicago area, offering three different rooms with varying levels of difficulty. The Garden of Chaos room features a mystic garden with a curse, while Runaway Freight challenges players to escape a booby-trapped elevator. Behind the Bookcase takes place in a haunted mansion. This venue is suitable for all ages and experience levels, making it an ideal choice for family outings or special occasions.
Came here last night for the first time and had a 9pm reservation for the mansion murder game. They had the room all set up within five minutes. Employees were awesome (funny too), room was set up great, and it was challenging. We will definitely come back and try the other rooms and the Mokena location soon. It was a great time!

I went here last minute last night with a friend. There were mini puzzles in the waiting area for us to play to get the blood flowing. The room we chose was definitely fun but difficult for us. Our game master Brittany was completely supportive in explaining things to us. She also gave us more clues because we had multiple times where we were just stuck. Brittany even allowed us to work some bonus puzzles after our time ended. Because of her great service I plan on returning to try a different room.

I can’t remember the game masters name but he was a younger guy with glasses, very nice and helpful. For the price and availability it was very fun!! First ever escape room experience and we did the Bottled up game and you can tell the gentleman was very passionate for the puzzles and seemed genuinely interested in us having a good time. Would/will come again when the puzzle itch comes back.

Came to this escape room in late September of 2021. We got the plant themed room to ourselves and were given an hour to complete the puzzle. It was an engaging and well thought out room with details that I enjoyed. I did like that the game attendant made very clear to us what was NOT part of the puzzle so that we didn’t waste out time looking in places we didn’t have to. I only had two gripes with my time there. One was the price. For roughly $25 a person it’s a very short experience at only an hour max. Secondly some of the small details that were meant to help us were not maintained. The flashlights in my case. We were instructed not to use our phones but one of the two flashlights we were provided in the room died as soon as we started our escape.

Cuzin's Tavern, Gaming & Pizza Tinley Park is a sports bar with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The pizzas are outstanding, especially the sausage and beef toppings which perfectly complement the cheeses. With six slot machines available, there are plenty of opportunities for entertainment and possibly losing money. On Mondays, no reservation is required and there is a special offer of half-price pizza. Two pizzas cost only $49. The bar can get busy but the staff is accommodating and provides fair service.
My wife and I have been here a few times on Wednesdays for their burger special. Burgers and fries are very good. Burgers are 50% off on Wednesdays, draft beers were 25% off and a good selection. We like the local bar atmosphere. Bar tendress-Jenna provides great service. We will try Monday night for their pizza specials next…

I stopped by here because I was picking up my resume at A Better Resume Service which is in the same Tinley Park Professional Plaza. It was lunchtime and they were able to seat me and take my order right away. This place has a nostalgic diner type of feel. As I was by myself, I order Stromboli, although they do sell pizza by the slice. I saw they have a bar and a sign saying that they have live music at times. This place was perfect for a quick bite to eat for a guy on a busy schedule

I asked the bartender if she had cheap bomb shots and she literally dug through the cooler and found some random bottle. She wasn’t even sure if they were good and still to my surprise charged us $8.50 PER SHOT! in what universe does a neighborhood bar charge almost $9 for a shot that they aren’t even sure is expired or not. Ridiculous. Will never be back.

I want to preface this message by saying the be been a patron of Massage Envy for many years even before becoming a member. have been a paying/subscribing member and also buying their products for more then 8 years now. A dedicated member who always pays on time. These last four or so months have been bad for me medically and multiple deaths in the family. Now they wont reinstate my 20 plus credits and would have to start new. Maybe even pay the other moths I missed. This is a horrible location and horrible business to consider when you are hoping for a company that cares for its long term clients. Horrible. Oh and if it’s another location (oak park is my original location. I moved to Tinley. The ones individually owned and operated- you’re screwed. There is no customer service and the employees there can’t even ask for a manager to speak to you. This is insane. And a scam. Do not sign up for massage envy subscriptions. You can’t even change subscription locations without it being a problem. This place is fraudulent and taking your money because they can with all their “I socially owned business” but those places make all their own decisions on their process. It’s a freaking joke. I’d honestly use a worse word if I could.

Steven is amazing. He asked my concerns on specific areas of focus and followed through with great execution and also provided a great complete massage from start to finish. In the past at other locations, I could tell when the masseuse would get tired and not give as much energy towards the end or rush through. I did not have that experience at all with Steven. He was so great and on top of that such a kind person. He would definitely be my pick each time. He listens to what you need and provides excellent service. I feel fantastic and so relaxed. I would highly recommend him.

I have NEVER experienced someone being so rude to the extent she called me ignorant on the phone. I recently cancelled my membership at the Tinley Park location and needed to speak to them regarding hours on my account. Danielle answered the phone kept talking over me, cutting me off and being rude as I was talking. I know in customer service rolls we have to deal with all kinds of people, but NEVER have I seen behavior like I did today. I am waiting on a manager to call me so I can find some resolution to my original concern. I’m also going to call corporate. I informed Danielle that I had her on speaker at the Highland location and 3 people heard the entire conversation including her rude behavior and calling me ignorant.

Angela was great! She took the time before my massage to ask me questions. She went above and beyond doing what she felt would give me the most benefit for my 60-minute massage. I felt better the moment she started and left feeling refreshed and stress free. Thanks Angela!

I went here a week ago, this is my second time at this location (first time was great) but this time was awful. My masseuse was Deanna, the room was cold, the table was cold, and the oil used for my massage was cold. I Informed her several times of this and was only responded with “Im sorry”. She never once adjusted the temperature of the room, she said the table had went off during the massage, but during the duration of her cleaning, she turned it back on. It was still cold, and the oil was cold, and she just kept rubbing her hands together in an attempt to warm it up. I informed the manager. Was then greeted again with, and I'm sorry. I just think for the amount of money I paid And as a regular customer, something else should've been done more than saying I'm sorry. I won't be returning back to this location.

I have been going to Steven for over a year and a half now and I won’t go to anyone else! He makes my muscle tension disappear and leaves me feeling like jello afterwards. He pin points where the problem areas are and listens. Not only a great massage therapist, but a great person also.

Worst bartender I've ever had! Ive actually invited other friends and all agree worst bartender ever! Wish I remembered her name but older white lady. Seems to be the prime time tender! Watch out cause if u even wonder why it takes so long to get a drink... she will kick i out!

Heard a lot about this place. I hope to give it a better review once I try the food. Kitchen closes at 9:00 though. Staff was really sweet. Kinda seems like a place where you have to be a regular to fit in though.

Before I even walked in; sign said no public restrooms. Being at the shop next door, I had to use the restroom and assumed a nice friendly environment. If a restroom is a luxury I’d hate to see their prices

The Vogt House, now under the ownership of Banging Gavel Brews, has been meticulously restored to its former 1865 glory. The outdoor patio is a highlight with ample seating, a dedicated bar, and pleasant breezes. The brewery also offers event hosting in a spacious and accommodating room, with an attentive event coordinator ensuring flawless execution. Guests rave about the delicious food and the intriguing historical atmosphere of the Vogt House.
A group of our friends decided to get together and enjoy the Restaurant Week offerings at The Vogt House by Banging Gavel Brews. We started off with a cocktail in the bar. We then moved over to the dining area not in the bar area. Comfortable, beautiful and very conversation friendly would be words we would use to describe our experience. The staff were very friendly and the barkeeper was very knowledgeable on cocktails and wines. The tasting menu was very balanced and had lots of options to choose from. The regular menu is also expansive and is likely to have something for all diners. Overall a great evening. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We had our wedding celebration here in June, and it was absolutely perfect - thanks to Mary Ann! Mary Ann was so helpful with coordinating the day, and incredibly kind through the whole process! She is so thorough with planning, and making sure everything was to our liking! The day of our celebration everything was amazing and went smoothly! The food and drinks were a huge hit, and the entire staff was incredibly kind! We were also happy with the gluten free options and dietary accommodations !! Would HIGHLY recommend having an event here, and also a meal and drinks! Thank you so much for having us!

This was our second time here and first time enjoying the patio. I have to say the patio space is absolutely awesome!! Plenty of tables, a dedicated bar and bathrooms outside, nice bathrooms. They had burger and beer special so we all jumped on that. Burgers were cooked on the flat top right outside. Nothing gourmet just very tasty burgers!! The beers were really good too! It was over 90° out but it was breezy. The sun sails helped shade a few tables but a few more sails would make it perfect. We will definitely be back for some evening beers and a bite soon. Such a beautiful space, inside and out!

I really love this place! I've had a great experience everytime. The place is beautiful - inside and outside. They have a bonfire pit and plenty of outdoor seating on their patio. They have a wide selection of drinks too! Craft beers that are delicious and plenty of cocktails to choose from too! Last time I was there I got a salted caramel martini and I asked the bartender if she could add espresso to it and she said "no problem." It was one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. Check this place out if you haven't already!

We loved it! We ordered a veggie flatbread pizza, the pimento cheese and seasoned saltines ( omg they are addictive) whipped edamame and salad . Everything was super fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back. Kat the manager was very attentive and friendly and took us upstairs to see the private banquet areas. There was no food service in the beer garden but they let us order our food and bring it out ourselves. Its a beautiful space.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience hosting our post-wedding ceremony cocktail party at the private space on the second floor! Mary Ann was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our event special. She took the time to meet with us and carefully plan out the hors d’oeuvres and drink selections, ensuring everything aligned perfectly with our vision and budget. There were no surprise fees or last-minute changes, which gave us total peace of mind during a busy time. The second-floor space was perfect for our 60 guests—intimate, stylish, and just the right atmosphere for a relaxed, celebratory gathering. The food was outstanding, and the service was just as impressive. The bartenders and servers were friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly. Mary Ann even made sure our cake was beautifully cut and served without us needing to lift a finger. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a venue with great food, a wonderful team, and flawless coordination, this is it!

Great food and drink menus. Would have liked to enjoy the inviting firepit outside but it was too cold. It was Halloween so the crowd was low and the atmosphere was somewhat flat. Kudos to the staff for dressing up and staying in character! Would go back!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Tinley Park, Pekoe & Bean is a delightful spot that beckons visitors with its warm ambiance and friendly service. This charming establishment offers an array of delectable food options alongside expertly crafted coffee and tea selections. With a menu that changes seasonally, guests can indulge in both sweet and savory treats that are sure to please any palate. The inviting decor, complete with antique furnishings and cozy seating arrangements, creates the perfect backdrop for leisurely gatherings with friends or family.
I rented the smaller “Birch Room” at Pekoe & Bean to host a Galentine’s gathering, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the team was so accommodating and sweet, making sure everything was just right for our event. The room itself was already beautiful, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere, but we added in special decor for the occasion. The food and tea were terrific, with every bite and sip feeling like a special treat. Well worth the wait. My favorite tea was the peach tea. The ambience, service, and attention to detail truly made the experience unforgettable for my small event. Both private room options would work great if you’re looking for a charming, welcoming spot for an intimate or larger gathering, or just to dine in without a room rental. I can’t recommend Pekoe & Bean enough!
Joi H — Google review
Pekoe & Bean – Tinley Park, IL Tucked inside an older commercial building along Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park is a quaint coffeehouse called Pekoe & Bean. I’ve driven past it for years with every intention of stopping in, but never did—until today. Though the building itself is dated, it’s clean and sits in a family-friendly stretch of old downtown Tinley Park. Stepping inside, you’re immediately struck by the charm. The space is graced with antique-style furniture from a bygone era—tables, artifacts, seating, and décor that create a rustic warmth. The countertop has the feel of an early-era bar. My guest and I were warmly greeted by Debbie, who was personable, attentive, and well-versed in the menu. I ordered a medium roast coffee and a strawberry muffin, while my guest enjoyed a cheese Danish latte and a lemon poppyseed muffin. Both were excellent—but what truly stole the show was the soup. If you visit, don’t miss their white bean soup with seasonal vegetables. It was absolutely delicious—clearly homemade, perfectly seasoned, with freshly diced chicken breast, greens, white beans, celery, and onions that blended into a flavorful, hearty broth. This is the kind of soup made with intention and care. I could have easily eaten a large bowl and would return just for that alone. The menu is varied and worth exploring—take your time with it, and don’t hesitate to ask questions. Debbie’s knowledge of the offerings was impressive. While exploring, I also discovered their private dining rooms, which can be rented for larger gatherings—a great option for groups. My only concern lies with the location. Parking is very limited, and the narrow entry/exit on busy Oak Park Avenue can be difficult to navigate. The area is car-heavy, which I suspect limits some of the walk-in business. I can’t help but imagine how much better this café would thrive if the strip had wider sidewalks and more walkable streets to match the ongoing revitalization along Oak Park Avenue. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy, though I think a little brightening—lighter walls or ceilings—would make the space feel even more inviting and alive. On the walls, you’ll also find local artwork for sale, along with a collection of house souvenirs available for purchase. One note: the menu does include a request that guests be mindful of a 1 hour and 45 minute seating limit. All in all, Pekoe & Bean is a charming spot worth visiting—and if you do, make sure the soup is part of your order.

Had the opportunity to photograph an event here. What a great space, I love when people open little businesses like this. A definite hangout can't wait to be back in the area so that I can sit and find a nice little corner to work on updates for my business. The staff here was super friendly and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area or nearby to stop in and sit and relax and enjoy.

Top notch place for tea! I love getting dressed up to go here. They have a nicely curated seasonal menus and the table service is great. My only complaint is that they really should start training on how to make lattes-- just because for the price, I expect it to be a GOOD latte. I took one sip last time of the sugar cookie latte and honestly I left the entire thing because it wasn't tasty. But everything else phenomenal!

I’ve been to pekoe and bean multiple times and it never disappoints. The service, the food, the location is always great. I love the fall menu and the afternoon tea. Definitely one of my top favorite places to just relax and enjoy my morning and afternoon at.
Daisy G — Google review
Adorable tea 🫖 room with a great vibe. Ill break down our experience by first saying we had fun and my daughter just loved it and we would return but probably just for tea . Im a foodie and a chef so I can be a bit critical but all in all everything was fresh and tasty. The portions are very tiny as others have said.. but it’s a small independent business not some big box chain so someone is personally assembling your meal and washing your dishes. This is why they can charge what they do. They use cute little china plates and tea cups and such. There is very limited staff( maybe 2 people?) so you may have to wait a bit but that’s kinda the point.. sip your tea or coffee and slow down. I like that. We got a mini charcuterie board, a pot of peach tea, and we each got a meal. The food was very fresh and plated nicely. I wouldn’t recommend the charcuterie board… it says assorted meats and cheeses but it was 3 slices of Swiss cheese, 1 tiny Tablespoon of whipped cream cheese with everything bagel seasoning on it, 6 club crackers, 2 pieces of salami and one piece of prosciutto. Just not worth the $13. Assorted should have at least 3 cheeses and 3 meats.. my suggestion would be slice your meats and cheeses super thin and it will go further and at least allow each cracker to have a topping. If you are looking to get a big salad and soup combo this is not the place and I don’t think they intended it to be that. As I said the food was fresh and we loved the tea but with tip our bill was $70 so just not something we personally can do every weekend. But we will absolutely be back in for tea and coffee and maybe a muffin just to enjoy the atmosphere. The tables were full and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. They also have adorable small party rooms in the back that would be perfect for a small baby shower or birthday party if tea time is your thing. Overall I recommend giving them a try. We enjoy ourselves.

First time visiting and definitely wont be the last! It may as well be the only true locally owned cafe in the area. The food and coffee was INCREDIBLE, shocked me how good it was since this place operates in a very low-key fashion. Offers fun and affordable mini-events and features local artists. What more could you ask for? :) The muffin blew my mind, it was almost like angel cake?? So good!

An interesting and inviting place to spend time with friends over a cup of tea, coffee, and/ or snacks and pastries. An adorable tea party- themed birthday party was taking place in the back party room. The antique decor- furniture, tables, chairs, even plates & linen napkins- provided a comfortable and cozy seating and atmosphere. A very unique place! Great selection of teas too. Delicious and enticing coffee drink menu for the spring. I could barely decide and ended up choosing the pistachio latte. Delicious choice! Friendly service. Outside table and chairs. Parking available just in front. Charming and unforgettable. Will be back soon!

I had an ice cream date with my daughter for her birthday it was our first time visiting Eiffel waffles in Tinley Park Illinois our service was excellent. The ice cream was great. We will be returning. Also we tell our family members and friends they should come and visit as well.

I had a good experience at this shop. I received great customer service. The staff were very kind and polite. I ordered a bubble waffle and it was delicious. My only issue with it was the ice cream was dripping on the side of the container it was in as soon as I received it. It created a big mess. Maybe if I had a cup or something or a bowl that would have helped the situation. Other than that I would definitely visit again and try something else. FYI for those with children there is no baby changing table in the bathroom. I think it would be beneficial if the bathroom had a hook on the wall or door to hang your bag or purse while you're in there so you don't have to sit anything on the floor or try to juggle. There is plenty of parking on the side of the building.
M L — Google review
The staff were very friendly and the waffles were made fresh which pair perfectly with ice cream on top, a creative twist on the traditional Hongkongese versions that I've had. However, I could also see that it'd be slow if more customer were to show up as they only had two people working.

We had a girls afternoon with 5 of us and we had so much fun! We brought a bottle of wine to sip on while they were setting up for us. Stephanie was our guide and she was awesome! She gave us step by step instruction and made it simple to create beautiful tumblers! We had an early dinner across the street and we all agreed we would be going back!

I booked a tumbler class with my bf that we attended today. Patricia (or Patrice?) was teaching us today. She was really amazing! Super sweet and helped guide us to ensure our pieces were to our liking. I can’t wait to book another class! While looking around, I noticed they had tiny silicone skulls for purchase. I’m highly interested in making them since she said they are looking to open a class with silicone molds. Yay! She also ended up giving us some coupons for some nearby restaurants. 10/10 Would highly recommend. Such a fun experience!

I stopped in after Lunch with some friends on a Monday afternoon. We had a fun time here. The bartender Mickey was very friendly and made us great drinks and bombs. Definitely will come back.

Nice bar with 6 video gambling machines. A bit off 159th but not hard to find. Lots of parking. Daily drink specials and wednesday bar bingo

Truly a sorry excuse for an establishment. Ive never entered a bar/restaurant and felt more disgusted. Both patrons and servers alike were rude and unwelcoming. Heed my warning and do not consider setting foot in this place. Food and drink were disappointing and everyone seemed like they were upset with their life decisions. I have never been more happy to exit a building.

Walked into the building and was met with an unpleasant aroma. Decided to take a chance with it despite that, huge mistake. I saw a rat run across the floor behind the bar and the bartender didn’t even flinch! Totally made me lose my appetite and I did NOT finish my food. Worst part is, the wings were ACTUALLY the worst part. Do NOT SPEND ANY MONEY HERE!!!!

This place is really going downhill as a bar/restaurant. The menu was downsized and then items were scratched off of that menu. My burger looked and smelled great but had no flavor. Garlic fries looked and smelled good but something seemed missing. The beer special in cans wasn't much cheaper than bottles and the beer seemed off. I then ordered the bottle and it was fine. I haven't used the OTB side in a couple of years so I can't comment on that but they do have Arlington Fastbet so I was able to wager on my phone while eating dinner on the bar/restaurant. That is a plus.

I went to this school in the 80's and I'm impressed with the changes this school has done.

Went to my granddaughter Gracie Clarke's Grandparents day celebration at her school last night! What a great time it was. We played Bingo, colored rocks, and ate ice cream. They also had a photo area where you could have a picture taken with you and your grandchild. It was a beautiful evening to spend some alone time with my granddaughter!

Great little spot for just to relax and clear your head. Also bridge connects to cemetery and close to Brookside park which is great for the kids with the massive playground, pool, basketball and tennis courts.
De 3 — Google review
Great park that is off the beaten path. Speaking of paths there is a pedestrian bridge that connects to Weston Cemetery. Its only downfall is there is no bathroom facilities.
Michelle M — Google review
Great, quiet little park. Has an awesome bridge leading into the cemetery.
