The chocolate dessert was fantastic, and impressive. The atmosphere is nice and slightly sophisticated but, the fish was not fresh and had a smell to it. And, my salad and escargot were pretty good, so it is a solid 4 put of 5 and yet still quite far from being a 5.

Upscale dining spot in Rabat. Their cocktail options are limited, but their signatures are tasty and strong. Highly recommend! The seafood quality didn't feel the best. We didn't feel any stomach issues like I read in some other reviews, but just didn't feel like it was the best quality. The monkfish was a letdown, but the grilled duck skewers were pretty good. The desserts were decent, I'd rate them 3.5/5, the Rhum baba was a bit too sweet (and also very strong rum haha), the tarte tatin wasn't bad.

Very good food with nice presentation and a good ambiance. Waiters were nice, wait time a bit long but not too long. Not a place if you want to get in and out in an hour but a delicious place for a good dinner.

My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant while in Rabat and we had the most magnificent late lunch. The staff was engaging and the food was absolutely delicious! What a gem!

I went on a Sunday night, which it was relatively empty. However, the experience was still peaceful and relaxing in itself. The restaurant is beautiful. It has an up and downstairs, a smoking and non smoking area. The food was tasty, I had the snow crab with avocado, salmon with cream cheese spread, and bread. Then apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I didn’t take any pictures of the food but the presentation was good and it tasted even better. They also have a wide selection of choices for drinks. (Alcohol included) Customers will have options. The service was good and spot on. My French is sub par and waiter tried to accommodate me by speaking English. The icing on the apple pie was the staff playing music in the restaurant to make it feel lively. I appreciated that. The prices are higher then other places in Rabat. But if you want a nice restaurant and atmosphere, it makes up in that. I will definitely be back in future but with others

I came across this spot for a casual quick lunch and it quickly became a favorite. We ordered the complete and coin coin galettes, and both were delicious! They come with a side of salad included which is always appreciated. Their location is super cozy too. I would love to try their other items and will come back soon! Definitely a spot to recommend.

Remarkably good. A great atmosphere and the food was just perfect. If we'd had more time in Rabat we would have gone back for another visit. An absolute must if you're in the city and fancy a delicious French meal :)

This place is electric! The food/service is outstanding, too. There is more than one location but this one has beautiful ocean views. Traditional/authentic Moroccan cuisine with a touch of singing/dancing...how can you go wrong. We had tagine with chicken, lamb, and lamb with veggies so we could try everything. The flavors were outstanding! And of course amazing bread and taktouka, zaalouka, marinated carrots for dipping. Great place to share great food...and like most places in Morocco, the service is amazing, friendly, and so very welcoming.

Dar Naji was such a memorable experience—easily one of our favorite meals in Morocco. We tried the tagine (absolutely delicious), the fish, noodles, chicken, a flavorful mix of cooked vegetables, and fresh, warm bread. I completely indulged—everything was rich with spice, perfectly balanced, and deeply comforting. The tea service at the end was the highlight—so much ceremony and excitement, and the sweets served alongside were just right. The decor matches the spirit of the place—colorful, textured, and full of character. It’s located right on the ocean, across from a small luxury mall, with windows flung open to let in the sea breeze and a view that’s hard to beat. Service was attentive and warm. An unforgettable experience all around.

The outdoor sitting area was the highlight of my visit; it overlooks Bab el Had. The atmosphere was awesome, with an authentic Moroccan ambiance. On my latest visit, I ate the Trid. It was good -- not great, not bad. I have tried a variety of dishes here in the past, and my sentiment remains the same: the food is consistently decent but rarely exceptional. Also, be aware some dishes might be unavailable depending on the demand.

A beautiful traditional Moroccan restaurant with a great view and a spacious interior that’s very well managed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our visit. We tried several dishes, and every single one was delicious. The highlights for me were the Tanjia and the Rfissa Prestige, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Personally, I would have preferred the Rfissa without the dates and dried figs, but the unique blend gave it a truly distinguished taste. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Moroccan dining experience with excellent service.

If you would like to experience Moroccan traditions, this is the place to go! Everything from the interior to the clothes of the staff represents the culture. We had tajines and rfissa - everything was very delicious! The tea was also excellent. We were also impressed by how polite and friendly the staff are, we are especially thankful to Karim who made our visit unforgettable! Thank you!

The atmosphere and the service are amazing. The staff is friendly, we were helped to and from our table, greeted with smiles and sent with smiles. The food however can use some improvements. The cocktails we ordered were rather watery and didn’t taste like their regular versions and for me the steak, that I ordered was really dry, at least the veggies and the sauce were really tasty. We tried traditional Moroccan salads (would recommend specifically the Taktouka and Zaalouk) and also the duck. The duck was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. So, in a nutshell, a place with nice view and atmosphere, be choose what you order carefully - might be great, might be hard to swallow.

We went to this restaurant because we had heard a lot of good things about the quality and taste of the dishes it offers. Honestly, we really enjoyed the food, the dishes were indeed delicious. However, we found the prices of soft drinks and fruit juices quite high compared to what you can find in America, Europe, Australia, or even elsewhere in the world. The customer service was excellent! A gentleman served us; he spoke several languages and was very attentive to our requests. Up to that point, everything was great. However, our experience was completely spoiled afterward, which literally brought down our overall impression of the place. We had to pay a total of 1566 DH, and we handed 1600 DH to the same gentleman from the customer service team, saying “You can keep the change,” because we truly appreciated his professional service and his communication with us. But that’s when our experience took a turn for the worse. The man came back to us after counting the money and told us we needed to pay a 10% commission. We didn’t think too much about it at the time and gave him an additional 100 DH. Later, though, we couldn’t stop thinking about how strange it was for an employee to ask for a commission on the restaurant’s sales, since he works for them. Before leaving, we went to speak with the manager or team leader and explained our situation. The team leader confirmed that the restaurant does not operate on a commission system and that employees do not receive commissions from individual clients. This confirmed our suspicions. Unfortunately, even after calling over the staff member in question, the team leader couldn’t do anything except apologize to us. The staff member, on the other hand, completely changed his story. He tried to make us believe that clients often give extra money as a tip, and that we were misunderstanding. But we are not stupid, that’s exactly why we said, “You can keep the change.” The staff member tried to justify himself in every possible way, but honestly, that completely ruined our experience. We’ve decided not to return to this restaurant, which is a shame because we had planned to come back with friends and recommend it to more people. The issue is not the 100 DH itself, but the feeling of being deceived and taken for fools. If the 10% commission were truly something applied to all customers, the waiter should have followed through correctly, because a simple calculation shows that 10% of 1566 is around 156 DH, not 100 DH. We just find it foolish to ruin such a positive experience, especially since we were extremely satisfied with the overall customer service. Why spoil everything like that? Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed.

Pleasantly Surprised Le Dhow was better than expected! I had the octopus and tuna starter, which was well-prepared. The place itself is a bit tatty around the edges, but it has charm, and the staff were really pleasant and welcoming. A nice spot for a casual meal with a view.

We were in Rabat over Halloween and this was our favourite haunt. Perfect location, beautiful views, lovely decor, friendly staff, yummy food, great atmosphere! We enjoyed it so much that we went back again for lunch the next day!

I had a lovely experience here: tasty food, friendly staff, nice view above marina. I completely recommend the seafood lasagna, it was very tasty and consistent. The swordfish skewers were served in a fancy way and the fish was incredibly tasty. 💙

We went for wine and the view, it was pretty good. Anyways, we ordered some food and the pizza was really bad. The atmosphere is pretty full of man, one table even sent a bunch of tequila shots for us - which we didn’t drink - so not that safe for women going by themselves. ‼️ Just saw the restaurant owner response. You don’t need to be a pizzeria to serve a good pizza. Food for kids should be as good as for adults.

Great experience at the Dhow! The setting is exceptional with a breathtaking view of the Bouregreg, the atmosphere is chic and the service is professional. The dishes are tasty and well presented. Perfect for a night out with friends or as a couple.

The gastronomy was pretty good. The couscous and tajine were good not excellent but the salads and the pastilla were great! 135 MAD for a full menu is more than descent. The place is good in the heart of Rabat medina and close to souks and shops. 4 stars because they do not accept card payments which is UNACCEPTABLE anymore! Morocco is a touristic country so this is why u have all to accept cards. Cash is a shame!

I found the food here very disappointing. We paid 145 MAD for three salads and a main, which felt extremely overpriced considering the limited menu options. The quality did not match the price — the dishes were average at best. To make matters worse, there was a piece of plastic in my chicken and lemon tagine, and the couscous was bland with no real flavor. For what we paid, I expected much better. Overall, this was not a good dining experience. I definitely do not recommend it and will not be returning. There are far better places to spend 145 MAD on food in Rabat.

Ask for vegan 🌱 options and they’ll have em. Basic tagine without any flavour. A bit pricey too. Loved the appetizers!

Very nice authentic restaurant in the Old Medina. Atmosphere and service were exceptional. The staff speaks English, they are were professional and kind people. I loved the live music, which makes the place more cozy.

Amazing tajine. I went for the dried apricot chcken tajine, and it did not disappoint. The entrés were impeccable, too. And then there was live music, complementing the atmosphere.

Hidden behind a mirrored door, the restaurant appeared closed upon arrival. However, the door opened after a minute or two of standing outside and we were welcomed into the restaurant by our server. The decor inside was gorgeous and the room was laid out in a traditional manner with one central part to the room and 3 alcoves with tables in each. We are both veggie so we ordered vegetarian cous cous and vegetarian . The restaurant was busy and food took some time to come out, which would suggest that it’s all freshly prepared. The food was delicious and worth the waiting time. Overall I would recommend this restaurant as it has a buzzy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food.

The food was good, but the service was terrible we were told to sit where we wanted among the three tables but later were moved to the least liked table, as 2 people who were dressed better arrived!!! the waitress was rude and could not tell tell the difference between two types of sausages for couscous, she was just ignoring us when we tried to order deserts. Also this place is overpriced for nothing, there was no good atmosphere in that place, was really loud and noisy and the waitress made it even worse. Half of the menu was not available Also it’s TOURIST TRAP !!! There are way more nicer places out there and with better prices.

Absolutely fabulous food we asked the waitress to choose use a meal from each section of the menu and she smashed it. Lamb shank tagine was the best lamb I have ever eaten ANYWHERE cooked perfectly in a divine sauce with apricot, prune and really well cooked vegetables. Chicken leg couscous with super fine couscous moist and tasty on the bone chicken and caramelised red onions was gorgeous. Finally a pastilla for the English read cross between a samosa and mince pie layered crispy pastry around a chicken and fruit/veg/miscellaneous filling. Trust me no matter what you are thinking you need to try one of these like all the best things in life it is so much more than the sum of it's parts. A cross between a meal and a dessert and an absolute game changer. Do not come to Rabat and not eat here it's a real hidden gem

Nice restaurant with pleasant staff , menu a bit short but you find some good food there. Over all happy from the visit and good value for money, loved the in side decor.

I’ve eaten at Dar Zaki more times than I can count and I’m honestly shocked I’ve never left a review until now. This is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Rabat for authentic Moroccan cuisine. Located inside the Medina, the short walk to the restaurant is already part of the charm. It’s set in a traditional riad that has been beautifully transformed into a warm, welcoming dining space. The décor, the food, and the service are all 10/10. Every dish is made with love, and you can truly taste it. If you’re in town, this is the Moroccan restaurant you shouldn’t miss. I’ll keep coming back again and again.

This place is excellent! The food is so good that we had dinner here two times in a row. My favorites dishes are the lamb aubergine, the zucchini–mint pastilla, and the walnut-date cake. The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, and the staff is very kind. Highly recommended!

The food is incredible! We had the veal tajine and it was the best dish we had in Morocco. It's a cosy restaurant with nice background music, really nice ambiance. Can definitely recommend! I would suggest to arrive early, when they open at 19:30. Or make a reservation. There were several guests who walked in around 20:00/20:30 and were told it was full.

This restaurant is very well located: only a few minutes walk away from the main train station. Typical Morocco food. Price has gone up since a few years but still reasonable. Overall good dining experience.

Authentic, rustic and cozy. The man singing and playing the instrument in the corner was a subtly beautiful background to the amazing food experience Veal tanjin was out of this world. (I had a chicken tanjin somewhere else and it was so underwhelmed. But this was incredible!) Chicken couscous was very very nice The chicken briouates with Aubergine caviar was delicious! The pastille dessert was real real good as well.

Came here today based on memories from more than 10 years ago, when I had an amazing lamb shoulder. Will definitely return, for both the food and the great atmosphere.

I ate here a few times eleven years ago. I loved it then, I love it now. The restaurant serves fresh and delicious Moroccan classic dishes like lamb with eggplant tajine, chicken with seven vegetables couscous, pastilla and briouate. The musician softly plays classical songs with his oud, making the experience even more memorable. The staff is very attentive and hospitable. I was very delighted to have had a chance to visit it again with service and quality still great.

we dropped in for coffee only as we were going on a nice walk along the foreshore. The best thing about this cafe is the extraordinary view. I suspect it is geared up for bus loads of tourist who arrive on the cruise boat. But for a drink with a lovely view it’s difficult to beat.

The setting of the terrace is unbeatable, absolutely stunning. The food was fairly shocking. Kebabs so chewy and not actually grilled, the kids "Kentucky chicken" was mostly lacking CHICKEN. These were bits of the chicken you wouldn't normally bother battering and frying! One of the few places to get a beer.

Very good and fresh seafood in this restaurant that is very well located, close to the Casbah of the Uzbayas. Friendly service, average prices for Rabat. The portions are generous. However, service can be a bit slow during busy hours. The fried fish and calamari are the quicker options.

Hard to know where to start. Huge restaurant in a great location. Unfortunately only one other couple in it. Our waiter was both accommodating and attentive. We ordered seafood paella for two. What arrived could have served four easily. Really generous amounts of fish and seafood and the rice was very tasty. Had two oysters. I ate one but once opened the second didn't look at all healthy so was left. Lots of large shell on prawns that contained mush. I could squeeze them out like toothpaste. All of these we left as well. We ate the white fish and small shelled prawns with the rice. Nice beer nice wine. I just can't forget the oyster and mushy prawns. Final point, the toilets had two dispensers for paper towels to dry your hands. Both empty. Like they don't care.

The place is fairly good. We went for food. The prices are acceptable to me, but the quality of service is not as expected. We ordered food, but we were surprised that what we ordered was not served for an hour. When we were about to leave, he came to tell us that our order was almost ready. He apologized politely and explained that the problem was that our order was lost, and another new order was prepared, which is why the delay was significant. I thank Mr. "Lotfi", who was professional in intervening and apologized for what happened and invited us to come back and visit the place again at another time. He was a professional person.

We came as part of a tour group. Everything was ready. The food is quite good. We had a side salad & a plater of fried fish, prawns & squid. The service was very prompt as well. The restaurant has a good view of the Atlantic ocean. It's pretty windy outdoor.

love the decor & ambiance! Foods are decent with nothing outstanding in taste or portion. Grilled steak was thinly sliced and grilled too cooked thus steak was too dried and unevenly cooked. Lamb shank, grilled shrimps and puff chicken pastry were tasty. Great service overall!

An intimate Restaurant, tucked away behind an unassuming door, hides some of the *best* restaurant experiences one can have in Rabat. The decor, with the small indoor fountain, and the subdued lights, creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere - bring your romantic dates here. The food and drinks are always excellent. Not exceptional, but excellent. I have tried all their starters and Tajines and recommend *all* of them. The drinks and wine list is also very good - not eclectic, but very, very good. Service is good, maybe sometimes a bit to reserved - but that may be due to my weak signalling as well. The prices are very fair. All in all - la Menora is one if those increasingly hard to find "secret" tips in Rabat. If you'd like some space and calm for your group or romantic partner, this restaurant will be perfect. It's not fancy or extravagant - but it's good. Kerp it a secret please ;)

We were supposed to try the restaurant across the street but it's closing at 7pm. So we saw this restaurant and decided to try as we're really tired after long flight.... The decorations is so pretty and there's no other customers when we walked in. We were a bit nervous. Maybe it's very expensive? Maybe the food tastes awful? We ordered fish and lamb. Out of our surprise, they tasted good and it's not expensive! (330MAD) BTW, a group of people came in after we ordered... 😁 Just one last thing to mention is you need to wait quite a long time for the food to come... Even those there was not many customers there.

This is a beautiful cafe right outside of Bab Oudayas by the sea. The setting is outdoors with lots of seats to view the ocean. We came for snacks and were greeted with cookies and mint tea. Very nice after a long day of touring Rabat.

This is an obvious stop for many tourists in the Kasbah because of the view, which is worth it. The tea wasn’t very good as it tasted like it was sitting for too long and was thus too bitter, but we enjoyed our time here nonetheless. We wanted to use the bathroom, but it was very gross and the male attendants were waiting directly outside of the doors. We passed on using them. Finding a seat can be challenging. In the shade, even more challenging.

Nice little cafe serving tea, coffee and a few soft drinks. There is also someone selling baked goods. It was a pretty location but otherwise it wasn't overly special. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but a cute pit stop if you're already in the area.

We came to enjoy and partake in Iftar, it was a lovely meal and we really enjoyed it. It was a nice environment and we were able to take part in this Muslim tradition. Bouras was an excellent waiter and saw we were attended to the entire time.

Our first night in Rabat and we were disappointed by this meal. We arrived on the earlier side for dinner, the first people to sit down for dinner. Yet our waitress did not welcome us or ask us if we had any questions. Just “What do you want to eat?” And then she never came back to our table to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert. We had to wave her over to pay our bill, even though there were only 2-3 other tables with people at them. The restaurant is pretty, but there is no natural light so they have spotlights in part of the restaurant, blinding anyone sitting against 1 of the walls. The food was just ok. The chicken tagine had a good flavor but was dried out. The fish tagine was better but not the best we had by any means. I would say skip this restaurant for dinner and enjoy a meal at Golden Fish in the same hotel.

I visited Al Warda for dinner while staying in the Sofitel and really enjoyed it. It’s a very well-decorated restaurant and my chicken tangine, in particular, was really excellent. In addition, Lamiae, Sanae, and Zahira provided friendly, professional service throughout the meal. Recommended even if you’re not a Sofitel guest to experience excellent Moroccan cuisine!

I had great food and drinks at Al Warda restaurant in Sofitel, Rabat. The staff were great, very pleasant and very kind. Lamiae and Sanae and Zahira were special. They did everything to make my dinning a memorable experience. The food is incredible.

You are paying for the atmosphere and service, not the quality of the food. What I ordered was VERY PLAIN, my friend's dishes were better but only marginally. Considering the price point, I would consider it a crime against food an insult to intelligence. There was very nice live music, and location was amazing. I would say go if you are in Rabat but only for drinks, DO NOT order this food at this price point.

Noon to eat, is very hard to find outside looks like not in business, but push the door into the very obvious Moroccan flavor, food flavor general price is slightly higher, experience the Moroccan flavor restaurant can try!

Our hotel recommended here for dinner . I guess they receive commission. My chicken was as dry as Sahara desert . May be cooked few days ago and just placed in a bowl of sauce . Terrible food ! My chair was wobbly. Very uncomfortable seating . This is a tourist trap . Don’t believe other reviews they are made up !

We have been here four times. It is always an incredible experience magicians food presentation taste. It really is incomparable and so this is by far my favorite restaurant and all of Morocco the attentive nature of Mr Adelkader the manager makes it all worthwhile. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Great place for gastronomy and overall atmosphere. It is an expensive place, but for a caprice one night, or a romantic dinner it is worthwhile.

Dinarjat is in the Alou neighborhood of the Medina of Rabat. You can follow google maps to find your way there through the twisted streets of the old city. It’s best to park outside the walls and walk from there. I”the restaurant’s unassuming exterior makes the interior even more of an unexpected delight! You will have to tuck your head and step over a high transom to enter through the wood door. From there you will be ushered into a palatial two story high room, with elegant tables set with heavy white tablecloths, quality table settings, wine and water glasses and covered with red rose petals. Seating is on plush velvet settees with comfortable pillows behind you. The dining room itself is breathtaking: Antique tile, very high arches and carvings, Romantically up lighting all in the Andalusian style The red bathroom was so unique it merited a photo too. There were even rose petals in the sink The house was built in the early 20th century and was owned by two families and at one time was a riad before being sold to its current owner who transformed it into a restaurant. The meal begins with an assortment of salads set in the middle of the table - eggplant, lentils, salad, potatoes, zucchini, filo rolls of chicken, meat and vegetable, carrots… What made them so delicious was the unique blends of spices and herbs. The chef is very talented! They offer wine and beer as well as non alcoholic drinks Following the first courses comes a wide assortment of roasted vegetables stuffed with a delicious beef mixture. They also offer vegetable or fish tagine. Everything was excellent! Dessert is a gorgeous “pearl” pie made with filo, crème anglaise and rose water. The waitress cut and served it at the table and it was fantastic The prices are high for Morocco but Dinarjet is not just a meal, it’s an experience and well worth the cost A lute player, percussionist, and singer entertain, playing andalusi and moroccan tunes. At our dinner, we began to clap and all of a sudden the chef was there and we were all dancing and clapping among the tables - greet fun to cap a wonderful evening.

Nice restaurant by the pool of the Sofitel. The surroundings are very nice and the furniture is very cosy. The food is nice and good. However they are a bit slow in service (20min to take order and 50 Min to get served that's too much for 4 people at lunch and the restaurant was 50% empty) Update : bien meilleur service ce soir de 2023. The restaurant is located in the Sofitel Hotel backyard’s beautifully designed garden featuring delicious food and outstanding service! Zohra and Omar let alone other servers did an outstanding job to make us feel at home! The food was really great and we had amazing service from Salah, Safae and Oumaima. The fish and vegetables were very fresh and good wine selection as well!

If you have a passion for food court-quality sides, this place is an absolute must-visit. It doesn’t matter what fancy culinary description was written on the menu. It’s a very cosy place with candle light. The pizza’s ingredients could be little bit more tasty like mushrooms, ham. I like the pizza bread, the cheese is little bit heavy. Staff is kind.

We enjoyed a late night dinner at La Mamma in Rabat. Lovely energy at this candlelit, bustling restaurant. The food was okay and the service was alright given that they were very busy. Overall would recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere.

Saw this place while wandering around. The place looks closed but it’s not due to the closed facade - It’s with colourful tinted glass. The staff left a good impression in welcoming us and we’re really impressed all throughout. The restaurant has a good vibe and designed with veggies hanging in the ceiling. We had lasagna and romaine pizza and they are really good! I honestly don’t understand separating smoking and non-smoking area if there are 2 big open windows and a big open door in between. We had chosen a corner table but it could still smell all the smoke. The smoking area was full of people smoking, and of course, most of the smoke also came to the non smoking area. They should close the smoking area and let those people inhale their own smoke! This just really killed the dinning experience.

Frankly speaking the food is not wow I attached some photos, I ordered entrecôte medium well It’s came black burned without sauce but with fresh tomatoes and lemon and lot of lettuce .??! The fried calamari was not up to Italian standards with no sauce at all and a lot of lettuce. Pizza margarita was not bad but now wow As there is a lot of Italian restaurants in Rabat serve better food than this restaurant..

Il Giardino in Rabat is a decent spot with a pleasant atmosphere. We tried their pizza and a chicken dish—both were good, though not outstanding. Overall, a solid meal, but not quite enough to make me eager to return.

Great pizza. Sun, wine, coffee… what more could you ask for! Burrata was creamy and delicious - but a bit lonely with just a few tomato slices… 9/23. Possibly had the best pizza of my life. Baratta and pork with basil. Sooooo delicious.

Had an Arrabiatta Penne which was seriously spicy, I can handle spice so it was excellent. Had thé entrecôte steak as well, it was nice a tender with nice grilled veggies on the side. Little steep on the price side but had Moroccan wine for the first time and it was actually good.

Food was amazing and authentic Italian! Also, the outdoor seating was very nice and the servers were friendly. I tried the Pizza Salmone and my friend had the Penne Al Pesto, and both were delicious. Reminded me of my travel to Italy. I would keep in mind that the food is a little pricier than other places nearby.

We came here on a Monday evening. We chose a table outside in the courtyard for a lovely ambiance. The waiter was very attentive, he kept refilling the hot bread rolls and even brought a candle to our table. We ordered an assortment of fish and seafood platters. Everything from the food, ambiance and service was perfect.

Iwas eager to eat seafood and fish ,so i came here , i ordered this horibale salad which was meants to be seafood salad , but in reality it was not , it is "vegetable" salad with some old seafood on top. The food wasn’t great. Certainly not bad, but just a bit underwhelming. The service was generally good, and we were rarely left waiting for much. The real gem of the restaurant was the garden/courtyard area. The ambience was great, and the whole area was a nice place to enjoy the evening.

They don't make bistros like these anymore. Varied menu with a wide variety of fishes, pasta. Their filet is literally perfect, juicy, tender and flavorful. The staff is professional and friendly but the terrasse is its best asset. It is on the pricey side however, it is perfect for business lunches or if you want to spoil your loved ones :)

Probably the best middle Eastern food in Rabat. A quaint Palestinian restaurant offering a variety of dishes from the region. The owner was excellent, and spoke really good English. We had amazing food, including the hummus with lamb, the fattoush salad, falafel, aubergine dips, mouqallaba and more. We were a party of 6, and everyone loved it.

we were beyond happy with the food, atmosphere everything. the owner and staff were really helpful with my boyfriends severe nut allergy. the hummus was super creamy, the falafel extra crispy and the tabuleh very fresh. we loved everything and visited twice during our 2 day stay in Rabat. we will definitely come again♥️👍🏼

A wonderful Palestinian restaurant with delicious offerings. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful in suggesting dishes to order. The chef even provided a complimentary order of fabulous falafel. A visit to Rabat would not be complete without visiting this little gem of a restaurant.

Incredible food!!! We ordered the Chickpea Fatteh and the Falafel Platter for takeaway for two people, and it was SO good and so tasty. The waiters were very nice, polite and kind. And sooo much food, more than enough for two people and only 60dh. Can’t wait to come back!

The meal I ordered seemed to be made in bulk, and the waiter recommended it to everyone, likely to get it sold. The meat was quite dry and not as flavorful as I’d hoped, and the chicken was overly fried, which wasn’t what I was after either. The waiter handed me the menu but only mentioned what they didn’t have after I was ready to order, and it felt like he’d said the same thing too many times that day. They also kept changing the music, and for a few seconds at a time it would suddenly blast at full volume, which made the atmosphere a bit jarring. The overall “Palestinian” vibe also felt somewhat inauthentic so if you’re visiting in solidarity, you might notice nuances that make you second-guess the experience. That said, the ice cream at the end was excellent, and the falafel was genuinely delicious - I wish I’d ordered two portions. All in all, it feels like more of a tourist trap than an authentic spot. I wouldn’t go back, but if you’re in a bind, you could certainly do worse.

We really enjoyed our one night at this lovely hotel and we would definitely recommend it. It's in a very safe area, surrounded by large residences and embassies. Once you're through the gate, it's feels as though you left the city behind. The grounds are beautifully kept and have a real peaceful feeling. We enjoyed relaxing in the common areas and around the pool. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with its own little terrace. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and food on both occasions was delicious. Service was delightful - friendly and attentive.

I've stayed at Villa Mandarine a number of times and keep returning when visiting Rabat . The grounds and rooms are stunning - staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They consistently deliver a very high standard of service. The peace and tranquility at Villa Mandarine is remarkable and the experience is enhanced by the grounds - Enjoy.

Overpriced and out of the way. The hotel charged us a different higher rate for the same room via booking.com, they also charged us a extra person tariff despite the booking being for two. They also only gave us one towel for two people- despite charging a double tariff and higher room rate. Breakfast was not great and lacked basic eggs and bacon- again, overpriced as only one of us had breakfast. Double standards. Unrecommended. Will not stay again. . Restaurant is good, hotel setting is nice, gardens lovely but overpriced hotel rooms.

I visited Villa Mandarine with a friend for coffee, but we were quite disappointed. The drinks were not satisfying, and the prices felt unreasonable for what we got. The atmosphere was also underwhelming — several orange trees looked unhealthy, possibly affected by fungal disease. We also noticed chickens in the café area that seemed sick and poorly treated. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for.

I came here expecting a memorable dining experience and it was, but for all the wrong reasons. From the moment we walked in, the attitude was clear: the staff believed they were doing us a favor by letting us dine there. No warm welcome, no smile, just an icy “Do you have a reservation?” as if we’d already offended them by existing. This place is all style, no substance. It may have the aesthetics of a luxury restaurant, but the soul the hospitality, the care, the actual service is completely missing. I left hungry, frustrated, and lighter in the wallet. Never again.

The restaurant owner doesn’t seem to let tourists in. He saw my very non-Moroccan face and told me I couldn’t eat here because I didn’t have a reservation, despite not asking if I had one. Food looks interesting on the internet but not worth the walk if you’re foreign. You may have some luck if you’re with a local.

A great local bar, but the restaurant is not open so the pictures you see on here will not be accurate. It's basically a cheap and lively bar attended my ordinary (i.e. not rich) Moroccans (and in practice exclusively men).

Disgusting place full of men smoking. Sadly like the previous reviewer walked out without attempting to eat. Photos are several years old - no sign of any white table clothes nor anyone eating.

The most lovely experience we had in Rabat! The staff is beyond generous and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. So many places you go to in Morocco make you feel like it is all about the money, here you can feel the love. The Moroccan salad and lamb is the best we had in all of Morocco! Great food and setting but weird discriminatory practices: our black friend wearing flip flops was prevented from entering because of the “dress code” even though there were Moroccans wearing flip flops inside.

Had a dinner here last night with my wife and it was most fabulous. The restaurant lives up to its name and reviews as an excellent place for gastronomic experience. Every aspect is well covered. The welcoming ambiance and warmth of the place, the attentiveness and the personal attention of the staffs without getting intrusive, and the quality of food and its presentation far exceeds expectations without breaking the bank. Kudos to the management of this gem of place in the center of Rabat.

We planned our entire Saturday in Rabat around being near to this restaurant for dinner, and it is not open at 7:30pm, despite Google hours saying it is. Check the hours or contact the restaurant before coming here as they seem to not have consistent hours or may be closed permanently

I really liked this place. It had a very nice ambience, chill music and very friendly stuff. The wine was moderately priced and I saw some pretty decent steak selections on the menu though I didn't order any. Definitely a place I'd wanna go back to again.

I ordered Cappuccino and a piece of cake from the counter. Even after reminding the waiter twice he never came with the cake, I went to order at the counter still never came. This was probably the worst Paul I have ever been in the world. No customer experience, literally no one cares here. Definitely will never visit here.

The environment is very good cafe, if you meet the comment section said tall male waiter immediately change seats, he really will not come to serve you, waiting for nearly half an hour to get coffee or not much customer time!

A very nice bakery, love their pastry, bread, viennoiserie etc.. the very best pastry in town in my humble opinion. The only thing down are snacks, one of the worst ever yet soo expensive. The place is very nice and well taken care of, love the warm colors and cozy atmosphere, a perfect place to take ur coffee and enjoy some pastry. Love the place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Everything is good! We are vegetarian, and they offered some delicious veggie dishes. We tried veggie lasgna, veggie linguine, and veggie paella that they tailor made for us ! They are all very delicious!

The seafood paella is delicious with fresh seafood. There are many other seafood dishes that I would like to try next time. The service is prompt and friendly.

We know this restaurant from google, seeing how good the review is, we decided to walk into the restaurant without reservation. When we arrived there are plenty of tables were reserved— so it kinda raise our expectation. We were given free compliment (see on the first pic) it was nice. Here is the review : We ordered Marea Salad (2nd pic, So delicious, would recommend!) Seafood risoto & seafood pastilla (3rd &4th pic)— risoto is good, pastilla portion is too huge! As for the dessert they called it mojito on the jar— if you like sour go for it, but for us it is too sour and don't taste like mojito at all, we won't recommend! Drink are average. Some foods are good some aren't (subjective)— for us we just dont understand why the review is so good while it was just okay-ish. Pretty underwhelming experience.

We came across this restaurant while wandering with my family. The food was good, and the staff were very accommodating, even bringing extra coloring sheets for the kids. The dishes were well prepared, although a few of the shrimp hadn’t been deveined, which brought my review down by one star. The platter I ordered also included two very small pieces of swordfish, which made the added cost feel unjustified given the portion size. The dessert was fantastic, and I’d definitely go back to give it another chance at a full five stars.

The waitress must have had a bad day and was picking up fights with every costumer, what's more she also stared throwing around the flowers decorating the tables. A small Alhambra 15 minutes from the Medina.. + The house is very old but it's in a pretty good conservation state. It has a beautiful Alhambra style. Moroccan-style breakfast is fine, although it can be improved. The location is good, but not excellent, as it is a neighborhood of Spanish-French origin, with European-style housing blocks, close to the sea and the Medina. The staff is very friendly. Cleaning is fine, although it can be improved.. - Above all, some rust stains on some blankets, sheets, shower plate... Mirror absent in one bathroom and very rusty in another. Some plug sockets pulled off the wall. Please note that one of the toilets is accessed through the kitchen (which is very secluded). One of the taps loses water. The vintage closet is great, but it didn't have a coat hanger. The mattresses look like upholstered boards, they're the strongest I've ever found. Breakfast tables are round and low, but you have to sit on straight sofas, so some people have a hard time getting close to breakfast and run the risk of getting stained. In short, it needs some reforms and improvements..

We read the reviews and decided to go there for a cool drink and ice cream, although we were warned. We regret it. From the start, I felt like I had to wash my hands just from touching the old and dirty menu. Surroundings were very 5 is surprising with the amount of people you see walking around and cleaning the city. Ice cream tasted very artificial, unlike their neighbours at Le Dhow and Apricot. The oreo and biscoff came stale. As you can see, left the ice cream uneaten. Warned a family who sat next to us to go elsewhere while they still had the chance. They left. We paid and left very unhappy. My partner said his chocolate ice cream was edible, but the strawberry, just like mine, did not go down well at all. Unless you're gettinf a coffee or cold drink and want to get out of the sun, do not come here.

Was apprehensive because of other reviews but we actually had a nice experience. We had grilled fish and a vegetarian tagine. Both dishes were delicious and tasted fresh. Our food came with complimentary bread, dips and olives. We finished off the meal with delicious Moroccan mint tea and asked for it only lightly sweetened.

Very disappointing breakfast! The quality was extremely low for the price—no charcuterie, just two plain eggs with no sides, definitely not worth 55 DH. The “beldi” option was also a letdown; the msemen was so tough it was nearly impossible to bite into. On the positive side, the waiter was very welcoming, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the food quality. I wouldn’t recommend having breakfast here.

Very poor food quality. Beef taghin contain mostly fat. Stake medium was extremely dry and well done. I ordered french fries and got rice. The only positive stuff at this place is a great view at the old town.

A regular coffeshope, i don't recommend this place for people who don't smoke, busy often, coffee quality is Ok, uncomfortable chairs, the staff are doing their best, I think this place need some innovation it starts to look outdated, not a bad choice for a quick cup of coffee, noisy all time (in my opinion).

The place is professionally run. The service is good and the place is always clean. I never had lunch or dinner here, but had a croissant for breakfast, and it was definitely from the night before. Overall, I recommend this place over others in the station if you have to wait for your train.

What a great service! I had to take my train and had no much time, so I cancelled my previous order and wanted to go. But the woman in the kitchen offered me to prepare a vegetarian sandwich to take away, quickly for me. So there was a great team work in the kitchen and at check out in order to place my order on time. Very kind, professional and fast. Place is very clean and food was yummy! I definitely recommend it. Located in Rabat Agdal train station, Moojood is one of the best options for dinning in and while waiting for trains. Very nice tea, food and traditional desserts and sweets. The place is very good looking and well decorated with different seating options in&outdoor. Value of money and very convenient and quick service. Tried is twice and never failed.

I Will say that the most better thing here is the way the service make you feel , so good way to explain the food … but the food yeah is healthy but is not the best I hope start work more about that ❤️

I recently visited Kasr Al Asil, and I was blown away! The food is absolutely delicious, with so many options to choose from. The service is outstanding, and the staff are incredibly helpful, especially if you’re vegetarian or have special requests—they’ll cater to your needs perfectly. AMAZING! The decor amazing atmosphere. Fast and really polite waiters. Not crowded, big space. A short menu with only traditional dishes and fair prices. the beef royal tagine and maroccan trio starters were really good but the best thing was the Rfissa with chicken. Must when in Rabat!

BEST COUSCOUS IN RABAT Very nice terrace restaurant in Hassan, good coffee, good tea, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. If you want to eat a delicious couscous on Fridays for lunch, this is the place. The only thing is that you have to be there just around noon, because they finish it quick, especially the veal one. Portions are generous, the food is really tasty and the service is very good. The prices are very good for what you get.

Update REVIEW: Horrible food, Couscous on fridays used to be delicious and cheap (35MAD) but not anymore. SEAFOOD SOUP is TASTELESS and the worst I ever tasted in my life. NON-Smoking area DOESN'T EXIST anymore, u could be chocked by the smoke even inside the restaurant wich gives you an unclean atmosphere for yourself, your companions and ur childreen. Imagine a restaurant that allows some of its clients to smoke inside, WHAT A SHAME! THE AC (Air conditioner) still unfonctional for three years now !!! OLD STATEMENT: Nice place with delicious food and couscous (once a week every friday and only for 35MAD, cheap but super super delicious).. the staff are very nice and helpful, the only thing down is the AC (Air conditioner).. I went for lunch today and it was super HOT inside, I started sweating and things went even worse when I started eating.. they need to fix the issue as soon as possible !!

Sadly, not a family place, don't ever think about it or bring kids. Full of smokers and no zone for non-smoker. It is all mixed that you won't even be able to breathe. It was terrible. In the evening, it got even worse, small and not cozy, plus the cigarette smell. It feels suffocating. We got drinks, a couple of Jus, no food. It was alright.

So I have eaten here a couple times and ordered dessert as take away. I have been pleased with portion size and price of food. Service was good and staff were friendly. My French is under par and they make the effort to speak in English as well. Will definitely continue to go here and recommend it

Tonight we were in the mood for a burger so we came here. My husband had a burger, I had a quinoa salad with avocado, cherry tomatoes, green salad and chicken, and my son had an omelette. We were satisfied. The place is not touristy, and this is evident from the friendly service and quality food. I personally really enjoyed the quinoa salad. Prices absolutely within the Rabat norm. A pity about the lack of a non-smoking area. In any case, I think we will be back! 100% recommended!

I really liked this bakery, plenty of bakery and cake choices. Their coffee was very good too. They made my daughter’s birthday cake and communication was very quick and efficient via WhatsApp. A Lovely team working there and a very nice cafe spot for brunches!

I was eager to try out this place, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered the Spanish breakfast. One bite of what was supposed to be a tortilla made me want to puke. The cheese was aweful, put on warm bread it made it lukewarm. The eggs were tasteless and at the same time a smell/taste of animal grease as if the pan was used to bake meat. As a vegetarian I was repulsed. I ended eating only the bread rolls (not the toasted ones) which was good, and the tomato pulp.

Can't believe these "almond" croissants cost 12dh. What an embarrassment for a "French" bakery. This place used to be good but looks like they're skimping out on basic presentation, ingredients and charging the same. How pathetic. Also, they taste like they're from yesterday which isn't satisfactory. Too airy and not buttery like they used to be. I won't order from them again. The photos of their pasteries on Glovo are all wrong so don't expect you'll get what your ordered.

One of the best bakeries of the downtown, they make a delicious pastries and a good bread, a very good service, really the waiter was courteous and attentive, he keeps checking on us and was quick, quite good coffee and good choice of pastries, clean local and clean restrooms. Last night my husband and I stepped out for a date to dance.The thing that we do once in very long time. we went to Harold’s for a bit which was fun, But we decided to check another place. we went to the place next door called “ART PATIO” we spent some time there and Then Jayme wanted to use the bathroom so I pointed to him where the bathroom was...Which by the way,has no signs that label women or men bathroom! One of the workers who controls the restrooms directed jayme to use a specific restroom so jayme followed.upon coming out of the restroom the owner of the place was screaming at Jayme’s face saying what are you doing using this restroom and calling him racial slurs. Jayme pushed the owner on self defense as the owner was clearly drunk.jayme was then attacked by two people. One of the workers came up to me and told me that my husband was outside and calling for me to come out! When i heard the story from my husband I couldn’t believe that the owner had made such a huge problem from from a simple mistake as going into an empty bathroom that is not categorized after being directed by one of his employees.We were then locked in the lounge for about 30 minutes being told that they were waiting for the keys to the front entrance for us to be able to leave. Meanwhile, they allowed all the other customers to exit from a different exit. As we tried to find the other exit, we were assaulted,dragged, and robbed by the employees in this place! One of the female employees even threw a bottle at me while other employees assisted in trying to barricade us in with tables. We were out to have some fun but they managed to hold us against our own will and try and do who knows what.

Fantastic location in the Rabat Medina the room was luxurious beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast was super on the rooftop near the pool. Beautiful views from the top. All staff friendly and helpful. We loved every moment. Excellent value.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The overall decor is just spectacular and extremely comfortable. It's very quiet. It's in the Medina, but close to the main roads. The rooms are gorgeously appointed, with modern amenities and classical beauty. The food, breakfast and dinner, is excellent and the staff could not be more friendly. There's a small swimming pool and a number of wonderful spaces to spend a quiet hour. Even the Wi-Fi is great. No notes - possibly the nicest place I've ever stayed.

Magical stay in the heart of the Médina. Ideally located. A sumptuous riad with elegant, refined decor. Each spacious room is uniquely designed. Attentive staff. Delicious meals.

Great renovation for a Riad that is aesthetically probably one of the best we have been to so far. Service is excellent and prompt. The staff is very dedicated and surprisingly highly educated, soft spoken and quite knowledgeable. The fixed menu for dining has limited options but they are all delicious and the food quality is really good. The chef added a good and delicate twist to typical traditional local dishes to make them a bit more refined without transforming them into something they are not supposed to be like it sometimes happens. So: well done! Easy access to the rest of the medina, beach and the Andalusian Gardens, everything is literally 5 minutes walk. The other great advantage of the location is the proximity to the river and boat service to go across the more high end and refined area of Salé and it's marina and restaurants. Also 40 minutes walk to the Chellah and 20 minutes to the Hassan Tower. This Riad ticks all the boxes. On top of the above, the Hammam and massage services are of really good standard. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back!

This Riad was a gem and I highly recommend Best location in Rabat - quiet area of the Medina. The rooms and common area are very luxurious with lots of amenities. We have a private dinner on the patio and breakfast - both were delicious and beautifully presented. We thought we were dining in a Michelin star restaurant. Lastly, Reda provided the highest level of service to us and made us wish we stayed longer.

Overall & location: Beautifully restored 100 year old Riad of a previous Pasha (judge) of Rabat. Excellent location within the Medina and easy walking to all sites (except Chellah fort). There are 9 rooms/suites - 5 within the main Riad and another 4 in the seamless extension, each named and themed after a flower. Room: Narjiss on the first floor was superb. Large room with lovely seating area and well equipped bath with shower, safe & storage. Cons: Some very minor noise issues and need the central window blind to be lowered for privacy when internal lights are on. Also, no usb points for easy device charging. Finally, except for the welcome bottle of water, all other water is part of the minibar & chargeable. Breakfast & dining: Very adequate continental breakfast and option for omelettes (though this was not offered on day one). Dinner at the Riad is expensive but worth it. A set menu of 5 lovely salads, choice of 5 mains & 4 desserts, freshly prepared to order by in-house chef Amina. Cons: The rooftop seating area is a bit cosy.

Such a lovely hidden gem in Rabat. Definitely worth visiting. Great location just 5 minutes from the station. Staff were so helpful as we were in a rush to catch a train and packed everything to go for us really thoughtfully (they even sealed everything so nothing spilled)! All around, I loved this brunch spot! However be prepared to wait as there is a queue for such a popular spot. The wait isn’t long and the staff is proactive in accommodating everyone. Andrea was taking care of my orders and she was an absolute delight! So kind and quick! The food was great, the music was a vibe, the fruits are fresh and seasonal to avoid wastage; the pancakes were indeed very fluffy! And don’t skip out on the Bissap, it was authentic and rich ;)

While visiting from abroad, decided to have dinner with family members on 23 October. Great place if and only if the service was a bit better. Frowning server with a very dry tone. Okay, forgrt about the server. Tried to order Seabass with Ratatouille ( Server: Non madam, it is only served with St Pierre). 1 star so far. Ended up ordering Seabass as is and St Pierre to get the ratatouille. Als, Paella Valencienne: Amazing taste and flavors, and that made me jump to 5 stars. We ended up getting 2 seabass with two different sidedishes. The waiter insisted it was a st pierre! Back to 1 star. All in all, invest in training your people. Don't like the service. Don't like lack of parking validation Don't like fish: felt it was not fresh or rather defrosted Love the outdoors Love the paella. Love the senior host (Fassi Accent, a bit mature) If you care about my opinion, I will see change when I come for my paella next time and salade araignée (was not available). Recommendation: make indoors non smoking 🚭. Sorry for any typos. All in the spirit of improvement.

Very nice place to enjoy a good meal and specially a good, tasty fresh fish. The place is nice, the sitting in front of the marina is pleasant although you might need to book a table beforehand to enjoy the best view. The service is good, I gave it 3 stars only because you have to wait for a little while before getting an available waiter.ress and getting your order. .. the waitress was nice and friendly and gave us good recommendation regarding the main dish.. The food was delicious and fresh, up to expectations. They have two restaurant (Spanish and Italian card) so make sure to ask for both coz it's not automatic. The prices are a bit expensive...but worth the experience!

No one speaks English, not even one word. Look at the price thought it is fine dining but the staffs know nothing about serving wine. I ordered one glass of house white wine, not let me try but just place a glass in front of me, taste very bad, alcohol only, returned. All food that I wanted to order was not available. The salad big like in McDonald's no taste no sauce full of cheap lettuce. The seafood is over cooked so very hard and no taste. The sauce is thick like clay. The service is horrible!! Not recommended !!! Very expensive for cheap service and food.

A very long day to get to Rabat, and we wanted to finish it off with a great seafood dish or two. We were NOT disappointed. The soup was fantastic, you could not beat the wine selections, and we had a very respectable meal! The service was fantastic as well.

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow; we had to wait an unreasonably long time for our main course to arrive. When it finally did, the grilled fish was cold, which was completely unacceptable. It felt like the food had been sitting around for a while before being brought to our table. For a place known for its seafood, this was a huge letdown. Definitely not worth the wait or the price. We won’t be coming back.

I cannot believe how kind and helpful is everyone in this hotel - from the receptionist, the sweet waiter in the restaurant and the kind lady lady who cleans the rooms. The rooms are spacious quiet with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and there’s even vegetarian friendly meals 😍😍😍I just love you guys for the hospitality and whole care

Location: The hotel is ideally located in a vibrant and secure area, surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafés—perfect for relaxing or grabbing a bite on the go. Room: The room was clean and comfortable. While not luxurious, it met all expectations and was in line with modern standards for 2025. It offered everything needed for a pleasant stay. Service: The service truly stands out. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and eager to assist—whether helping with luggage or offering directions and local tips. Their attitude made a real difference. A special mention goes to the way they handled our early departure. I had to leave for the airport at 7:15 AM with my wife and two kids. The staff granted us early access to the breakfast buffet and even provided takeaway containers, saying, *"Your kids might get hungry on the way, and there’s no need to spend extra on expensive airport food when you have everything you need here for free."* That level of care and thoughtfulness is the definition of excellent service. Overall: A well-located hotel with clean rooms and **exceptional customer service**. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

This hotel was ideally placed with only eight minutes walk from the main train station Rabat ville and also close to other sites and the medina. The hotel itself was a bit dingy, especially the restaurant and bar, the room was okay, clean and spacious nothing special. Derelict building view from my window and yes no toiletries. I’ve given it a three because the breakfast was very disappointing. They could’ve made more effort, although the croissants were nice and warm and fresh. It lacked cereal, juice choice and taste, it basic and very little choice and some of it was not very nice. It just didn’t have a very welcoming atmosphere as other hotels do.

Found this place from google close to my hotel. The reviews were good so I decided to walk down and am very glad that I did. Had the mixed grill which looked exactly as in the menu and tasted awesome, best u have had in all my travels. The owner is very polite and speaks good English so communication is not a problem. Pretty good food at a pretty good price, but you can find much better food, service and ambiance a few blocks away for the same price, so while we were pretty happy with things, it's impossible to give more than 3/5. Oh yeah, the portion sizes were on the smaller size compared to other places at similar prices, and I actually left hungry, didn't want to order more since it was a bit of a hassle. So maybe the 3/5 is quite fair. The cook/waitress didn't speak English, and clearly I couldn't pronounce the Moroccan dishes or point at menu items well enough for her to understand, so she got someone else to translate. We really did enjoy the presence of the cats though, while they were very demanding for food, we liked that 😻😻😻

I had the chance to have lunch at Chez Chihab restaurant during my holiday in Morocco. From the moment you arrive, you feel as if you are in a true Moroccan home. The warm welcome from Mr. Chihab is simply amazing—it instantly makes you feel that you are “chez Chihab”, which in English means “welcome to Chihab’s house”. The food is absolutely delicious: the chicken tajine with taktuka, paired with a homemade spicy bell pepper sauce, is top-notch. The refreshing and healthy juice perfectly complemented the meal, leaving me with an unforgettable feeling. A big thank you to Mr. Chihab and his team for their warm hospitality. I will not hesitate to visit Chez Chihab again whenever I am in Rabat.

We had lunch here twice and it was super delicious. We are vegetarian and had vegetarian tajines and different vegetarian side dishes with bread. Food was fantastic and the staff was super friendly.

Visit time : 20 April at 2:00 pm lunchtime. being a regular I have to show my biggest disappointment on how the hostess handled herself while doing her job. She showed no courtesy no enthusiasm in finding us a table. Being a regular many waiters recognised me and been actively trying to sit us. Waiting time was almost an hour without any effort from her to follow up . when finally a kind server found us a table with a missing chair , the hostess again stepped in and said no chairs available, the server managed to find one. This is an explicit complaint on how Rude was our experience with the hostess.

I had high expectations for Robuchon Club House, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and finesse, which is surprising given the reputation. Even more frustrating was the poor service — inattentive and unprofessional. Definitely not the standard one would expect from a place carrying the Robuchon name. Would not recommend based on this visit.

Very elegant and relaxed restaurant with great outdoor seating, a well thought out menu and some excellent dishes. We had the supreme de volaille and the dorade, both were exquisite.

A selective place for selective people, food is delicious, staff is nice and attentive, it's overall clean, a bit pricey but nothing you wouldn't expect for the quality provided, I'll surely come back soon

I’m really glad I booked Riad Zyo. It is very central, but once you step inside it is quiet and very relaxing. The staff is super friendly and doing everything in their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast was super, fresh food, fresh make omelette. Rooms are spacious. It would’ve been nice to have a little fridge in the room to cool water. Overall very pleasant stay in a beautiful area + Riad!

This is a lovely hotel for a short stay, with an excellent location inside the old city. The manager and daytime staff provided exceptionally impressive service. Unfortunately, our experience with the gentleman working the night shift was a disappointment. We ordered two chicken pastillas and a bottle of water. When I asked for the bill, the staff member told me, "You know the price of the chicken pastilla; it was on the menu." He then charged 50 MAD for the bottled water, which was an exorbitant price, especially since 1.5-liter bottles typically cost 15-20 MAD in local restaurants. I felt deliberately overcharged. Despite this one negative incident, the place has many positives, but potential guests should be aware of this inconsistency.

Wow! We are staying here as I write. This is one of the most comfortable small hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. A modern update of a traditional riad, or house with solid exterior walls and interior rooms surrounding on open courtyard with a pool. I’ve included only a picture of the ceiling in our room to make sure you understand this isn’t in a public area. That ceiling is in in our bedroom! Every detail throughout is made for relaxed comfort. We came back from touring in the heat today and my wife took off all of her long clothing and we sat in our bathing suits, hers a bikini, around the pool drinking beer before a fabulous lunch. Great service and wonderful food! We highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to the real Morocco and as an oasis from its heat.

We stayed one night at Riad Zyo. The room was beautifully designed, featuring elegant stained glass windows and grand doors. The architecture is a work of art. The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable stay. I would recommend the riad to start providing private transfer services from the train station but otherwise it was a perfect stay.

Amazing place, the sunset on the terrace is pure magic, the rooms are generous and the staff is one of the most helpful and friendly I have ever met. We can’t wait to come back ♥️

Located within the Rabat madina; close to all the main attractions within 15-20 mts walking distance. Get a full local cultural experience. Rooms are clean, reasonable amenities. Manager/ Owner was ok; not overtly friendly or informative. Breakfast is ala carte and they cook to your taste.

Quiet restaurant tucked in a side street in the bustling Medina of Rabat. We ordered Fasulye, green lentils, a beef tagine and a chicken tagine. The food was served with lots of fresh bread and was well seasoned. We really enjoyed it and the prices were reasonable too. The women provided excellent service.

Wow. What a find in the Medina of Rabat. A ladies run kitchen offering authentic home style food available for next to nothing. I don't like to go to the same restaurant twice, but went here twice as an exception. We had white beans, lentils and 2 tagines the first time which were excellent. We found out they do a special of Couscous on a Friday, along with a side dish of chick peas and lamb trotters. Sublime. The Couscous was beautiful, topped with caramelised onions and raisins, with a lovely fluffy texture. The trotters and Chickpeas were delectable, with a lovely taste and consistency. Highly recommended.

A small eatery in the Medina offering simple yet delicious and very affordable local fare. I particularly enjoyed my Hargma, as though someone’s Grandma prepared it. Lovely ladies running the place. Would definitely recommend.

I would say that visiting this place is only possible at your own risk. To be honest, I was misled by all these good reviews to this place on the map, but now I can't believe that I was in the same place as all these people. The lady who serves guests is very rude, and always brings you completely different food than what you ordered. The food is very cheap, they serve simple homemade food, and very poor locals eat here. Keep this in mind before visiting.

A traditional little restaurant situated inside the Rabat Medina. We had tagines (I had chicken and my wife had lamb), and they were incredibly tasty and fantastic value at only 25 dirhams!

I don’t understand the rating. We walked out of the touristy area hoping for an authentic experience. I ordered carrot juice and it came out as vinegar water with small chunks of crunchy carrot in a glass. The chicken and fries & trotter with chickpeas were edible. Nothing especially tasty about either dish. The meat ball looking dish is room temperature and taste of fishy tuna. Bummer that this is my first meal in Rabat.

One of the worst experiences I had. The glasses were disgusting. The cutlery was dirty. The servers were very rude. A woman kept looking over our shoulders and didn't say a word. Very creepy. The server with the hat never smiled and kept coming to our table with food in his mouth and knocking glasses over on our table. Very unprofessional. I ordered Chicken Tajine and the food came like a block of charcoal. Not eatable an full of oil. Never ever again.

Expensive and poor quantity.. we have waited for one hour to get what we asked for even though there were not many customers.. very noisy like you are in a wedding..

I walked in & the bartender saw me, then went back to drying glassrs. A server was busy chatting with, I quessed, the hostess. She was facing me & barely gave me a glance, he turned & saw me & then went back to chatting & the bar tender didn't look at me again until I said "Am I invisible!?", then threw up my arms & walked out. They clearly need some education on customer service! No wonder the place was empty!

Big plus for open kitchen area, which gives this place real modern look. Big minus for microwave which is in first place in there... We ordered vegetarian tagine, which was chicken tagine with removed chicken meat pieces... small fibers of meat was still in dish. It's non acceptable nowadays in modern kitchen. Shame.

A true hidden gem! From the outside, you’d never guess how beautiful this place is, but once inside, it feels like stepping into a little Moroccan jewel. The food is 100% authentic and absolutely delicious, just like a real Mi Lalla Marrakchia would make. Everything is spotless and perfectly maintained, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely a place worth recommending! 🇲🇦

What can I tell you about this Secret GEM of a restaurant that is hidden but in plain sight! We are the MOST AUTHENTIC Moroccan dishes here, from their tagines to their stews and their desserts !! Absolutely delicious. The Owner is very kind and generous and the service was excellent. They truly care about their clients and their food !!! We were on a vacation from Canada and our hotel was walking distance to this resto. We will definitely be returning back !! MASHA ALLAH. MABROOK on a gorgeous restaurant with impeccable food !!

Wife and I arrived in Rabat and wanted to experience local cuisine. So glad we picked this gem. The service and Manager/Owner was so hospitable. Once we told him we never had authentic Morocco, he welcomed us like we were in his home. We ordered 2 Tajines, one chicken and one kebab. He also included a local dessert, on the house, which was perfect. Amazing service and food. Will come back and highly recommend.

Now that's the real moroccan food. You can't easily find similaire or better speciality food. We had cow feet, nems, zaalouk, harira and taktouka, it was beyond delicious, we cleaned the plates 😋

Let me start from the beginning everyone on the staff was welcoming and genuinely helpful. The food was absolutely incredible, whether it was Moroccan cuisine or international dishes. The Chicken Pastilla was truly unforgettable, the Kofta and Chicken Tagines were perfectly cooked, and the steak was spot on. We also really enjoyed the Moroccan sweets and tea they were the perfect way to end the meal. A big and special thank you to Ms. Hanan for her outstanding hospitality, kindness, and warm attitude. She truly made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended

Bit disappointing over all. Cafe Âu Lạt delivered with no milk. Took forever to get that fixed to the point the coffee was cold and the brought me a fresh one. Rack of lamb was really a greasy rack of mutton. Try something else. I think they knew it was a poor showing, as the cost of the coffee and the side order of green beans was waved without me asking so credit to the restaurant for that.

Pluses: nice European decor, quiet, and great pasta with smoked salmon and light cream sauce (and a big portion at that- I was sorry I couldn’t take a doggy bag, no fridge at the Riad!). The bad: the service was friendly but extremely slow. The nice: they called a taxi for me (not always easy to find one in Rabat). If you want to take a break from Moroccan cuisine, it’s worth a go!

Excellent food and service! We had the Friday special: lamb, couscous and cooked vegetables. It was served with three sauces: sweet, mild and spicy. All three had fantastic flavors! Our server was attentive and efficient! If you're there on a Friday, I recommend the special.

Excellent food. Well prepared and splendid presentations. I stayed at the hotel for one week. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner from La Brasserie.

Worst place I have ate in Rabat. Bad food and worst service ever. 1/ 4 out of 6 that ate there (those who ordered an entrance) had extreme food poisoning with severe vomitting and stomach issues!!! 2/ Service was terrible! We ordered steak tartare with gratin potatoes. We waited so long to get it, we got the steak but without the gratin. when we asked where is it they said it’s on its way, then nothing came. We asked again and they said gratin is sold out! That was ridiculous and unprofessional. We had to order a new meal and wait again a long time. 3/ There was a problem with the bill and we finally managed to pay, we were on our way out and the waitress ran after us to tell us that they forgot to charge us for the drinks so we had to come back to pay. Overall TO AVOID!!!!please do not eat there even macdonalds would be better. Eating at this place is dangerous for your health.

The restaurant is very nice. We were a big table. The time of service was good. Noce selection of food. Food is delicious and nicely serve. The waitress was really good and helpful. The desert were so good. Highly recommend we had a delightful experience.
