Hotel
Hotel Manzoni is a centrally located property in Montecatini Terme, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a refined restaurant, and a spa area with sauna. Guests can enjoy massages, body treatments, and facials at the full-service spa or take advantage of recreational facilities such as an indoor pool and spa tub.
I need to hedge my score by saying that I don't really think it's 5/5 as much as I think it deserves a score above 4.0 and it's currently rated 3.9 which I think is unfair. It's a quaint little place in the city center. It's well equipped, the staff are amazing, the breakfast and poolside cafe are pretty good. Sure, there's rough edges all over the place, could certainly do with some more refurbishing, the pool area isn't exactly screaming luxury (nor should anyone expect that) and the rooms are a bit on the small side, but overall it was amazing value for money and we had a great stay.
Bojan M — Google review
Definitely not shabby chic. Extremely disappointed with the room. Not as advertised. Basic, small, tired with stained old decor, loose fittings, flaking paint and plaster. Twin beds pushed together with one being higher than the other! Appreciated that the cleaning staff did their best, but a losing battle as needs a complete refurb. Surly reception staff where mostly ignored. When got their attention were disinterested and unhelpful. Felt like a different hotel when in restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Good plentiful and variety of food at breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed the lovely sun terrace area and undercover pool and spa. Fantastic location. All walkable to places of interest. Lovely spa town. Great shopping and eateries. Highly recommend Montecatini, unfortunately not this hotel.

Excellent service some of the best food I've had in 25 years of travelling. Comfortable room with air con and clean bathroom facilities . Staff are all very friendly, speak English well and can't do enough for you. Sad I'm leaving tomorrow.
Keiron C — Google review
The SPA staff is extremely polite and customer oriented, the human resource manager has talent to hire . The owner which is a family do not offer to privates an access carnet at affordable prices which is a pity . The swimming pool facilities are tiny but the location is central . Worth visiting in low season .
Hayley S — Google review
We used this hotel for massage and hydro facilities and were very happy. We were not guests there but the deal for spa day is superb and massage ladies working with Nicoletta are great. They gave us towels and padlock and no extra charge which is unlike the others in the area. Great for pre-flight treatment My star rating for rooms is to be ignored as we were not guests but restaurant area was great. I was unable to complete this review without an entry on Rooms hence one star. Vandana Patel
Vandana P — Google review
We only used the spa for the day, but the staff could not be nicer, the location more perfect and the facilities were exceptional!!
Jeannie M — Google review
Left my car in hotel's garage, and my car keys at the receptionas as that was 'mandatory'. A week later found my car in a parking lot. Reception did not have my keys; keys were in the car!!! They took my car out of the garage and left it in a parking lot WITH CAR KEYES ON A DRIVER'S SEAT!!! That's the ultimate disrespect and irresponsibility towards the guests and their belongings.
T M — Google review
Not as advertised, do not let them park your car! Location is good. The service not very pleasent

The hotel boasts a fine-dining restaurant, outdoor pool, and a full-service spa where guests can indulge in massages and body treatments. **Review: Exceptional Service and Kindness at [Grand Hotel Vittoria]** During my recent stay at [Hotel Vittora], I was particularly impressed by the outstanding service and kindness demonstrated by Diana and Giorgia. From the moment I arrived, both staff members went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Diana's warm welcome and attentive demeanor set the tone for my visit. She was always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any needs. Her genuine care and professionalism made me feel truly valued as a guest. Giorgia's kindness and attention to detail were equally remarkable. Whether it was during breakfast service or assisting with special requests, she consistently provided service with a smile. Giorgia's dedication to ensuring a positive experience was evident in every interaction. Thanks to Diana and Giorgia, my stay at [the Grand Hotel Vittoria] was memorable and delightful. Their exceptional service and kindness are a true asset to the hotel, and I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

6 stars!! Fabulous hotel with the best buffet breakfast of all time. The staff was so kind to book our airport taxi and pack us to go breakfasts at 4am! Highly recommend visiting their spa - Roberta is an incredible masseuse and the sauna is just lovely. The location is perfect - 15 minute walk to the Funicular or train station and a 5 min walk to a beautiful park with walking trails. The rooms are also massive with stunning views of Tuscany...I can't recommend this hotel enough.
Camille S — Google review
Everyone was very friendly, specifically the staff at the bar. Breakfast buffet was nice with many options and good coffee. Room was very clean and had a lot of space. Bathroom was nice with a good shower. Air Condition in the room worked very well. Pool could have more sun chairs as it was like all the time crowded during our stay in August. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants in the center (10 minutes) The Funicolare to Montecantini Alto is also just 15 minutes by feet away.
Michael B — Google review
We booked spa services. First we enjoyed the steam shower, dry sauna and jacuzzi. Second, Roberta gave us a very relaxing massages. Her technique was perfect. The facility was very clean.
Susan R — Google review
The rooms are as cold as outside. After all, it's 2024. The air conditioners have four settings: heat, cool, air dry, and fan. But this hotel has central air conditioning. Half the year it's set to heat, and the other half to cool, just like 50 years ago. So it's not possible to comfortably decide how you want it. The temperature will be what you don't want, but what the hotel has decided for you. Let the children freeze. And who needs children, that's their problem!
Доктор Б — Google review
Lovely historic and quaint hotel with all the necessary amenities centrally located in Montecatini. Beautiful experience thank you
Safka G — Google review
This hotel has a simple elegance. The interior design of carpets, the lobby and bar, and the rooms makes it feel special and sets it apart from simple three star accommodations. The beds are comfortable and the triple rooms have little stairs leading up to a loft type space that makes the rooms fun and unique.

Hotel Minerva Palace is a laid-back accommodation option located just a 5-minute walk from the main square, Piazza del Popolo. The hotel offers free private parking and Wi-Fi throughout the property. The rooms are functional with amenities such as air conditioning and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. Guests can enjoy Tuscan cuisine in the hotel's fresco-decorated restaurant or relax at the rooftop terrace bar. The historic building provides an elegant setting for guests to enjoy their stay.
We have stayed here several times. The last time we were there, was for close to a month. The staff is incredible! The front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the house keepers; all amazing. This probably why we choose to stay at the Minerva Palace. Although this may seem a bit cliche, they are like family, only nicer. My friend Mark says this hotel has the best air conditioning; he likes things frosty. For me, the breakfast is always nice and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I would not consider staying anywhere else. By the way, the location is very convenient. Florence is less than an hour away as is Pisa. I discovered a new city called Lucca, which won my heart, a mere 30 minutes away. Base your vacation here, and you are in the heart of Tuscany.

5 night stay as part of fly/drive/stay tour. Great location for touring local area. Short walk to piazza, restaurants, shopping. Our room could use a furniture refresh, and breakfast was redundant but solid; but for the price & ease of use it was good. Staff was friendly & helpful. Parking is a challenge but not as bad as reported in some other reviews.
Kentwood W — Google review
The location of this hotel is excellent because it is in walking distance to the train. We had rental vehicles for our vacation, but after using the train, it was a wrap on the cars. Daily breakfast and dinner in the hotel had some great options. Breakfast was delicious each day, and the convenience of staying in was the best. The hotel is dated but quite charming and spacious and eclectic in its decor. The best support and customer service was from Evista (probably spelling that name incorrectly, and I apologize). She was superb each day and very helpful in helping us navigate our outings. She was always kind and helpful and we appreciated her kindness. The hotel is in walking distance to the post office to exchange money and tons of shops and dining bistro options.
Ms J — Google review
We stayed here as a chosen hotel with a travel package of flight rental car and stay. It was easy to find. Parking was not available on the street, but they did let us use the lot across from it, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. At first impression you don’t think the beds will be, but they most definitely were along with the pillows. The bathroom was spacious. It is in a great location to walk to many restaurants and shops, but also very close to walk to the train station to take it to Florence and then Rome which we did. The breakfast had many options from fresh croissants, fruit, eggs, bacon, bagels, a wide variety of juice and coffee. We enjoyed it most mornings. There is also a bar that has happy hour, but we were never there to take advantage of it.

Cutest hotel in Montecatini-Terme. We loved our two nights stay there. Breakfasts were good, rooms were clean and cozy. There were some nice bars next to with live music and great drinks! And of course, gelato bar had amazing 🍦🍨! Very safe and walkable area!
Daria O — Google review
Bad.Bad.Bad. I had an awful experience. The rooms smell weird, the bedding is old, the mattress is uncomfortable, the room and bathroom has bugs, and the door doesn't close properly. Please don't go. There's also a crack in the floor and the bathtub is dirty.
Iris F — Google review
The room was a little disappointing, but the staff were amazing! It was only a short walk to many stores and restaurants. It had a rooftop terrance where you could sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine from the bar downstairs. It also was a nice central location to go to many Tuscan towns
Amanda K — Google review
My stay in this hotel was wonderful. The room is clean, you have a nice bathroom and much space for all of your stuff. You can choose if you want your room to be cleaned or not. You even have a mini fridge. The breakfast was ok too and the staff is very nice. If I ever visit this place again, I would like to stay in this hotel. The location is perfect too and I saw a great parking space.

This hotel has got it right! Location, Facilities and most important warm, genuine guest care. Kitchen staff happy to be flexible about set menu content based on being vegetarian or not wanting a particular dish with a smile. Very helpful reception team . Owners on sight keeping an eye on things too and amazing arty ceilings to gaze at before we fall asleep . Thanks to Julia reception, Rosa and Marco whose names we caught but to all at this special unique boutique venue. Easy connectivity to Lucca, Florence and Vierriegio by train. Very nice staff. Room nice. Bed horrible. Tiny shower. One glass of Coke Zero was €5!! Not a 4 star hotel.

A lovely hotel with excellent customer service. All of the employees are professional, courteous and conscientious. Nice variety at breakfast to start your day off right, and the restaurant has an interesting variety of food. It was good place to stay there during our trips to Lucca, Pisa and Sienna.

Stayed at The Puccini Hotel for a week with my husband in October 2023. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The owners were always at hand to oversee everything went smoothly , it created a family and relaxed atmosphere . The food and service were very good , the bedroom very quiet, comfortable and clean . The public area was elegant and stylish. The hotel had an outside sitting area with beautiful sofas ideal for pre and post dinner drinks. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the town centre.

Friendly staff with all the information you need of town. Good hotel but a bit more expensive than it should be
Milos V — Google review
A genuine 'Boutique hotel' , the owner and staff most cordial. Our superior room was, really spacious and tastefully furnished, better than 4 star. The meals were good . The overall appreciation of a lovely stay was however spoilt by the following : on our return at lunchtime of the first day our room had not been done; on complaint the receptionist apologised and offered us an aperitif while we waited for the room. Okay acceptable we thought, can happen , and they have offered us an appeasing drink. Two days later, on leaving , my wife settled the bill while I fetched the car , they added a hefty amount Euro 15 ?! for the Spritz and Non alcoholic drink they 'offered' us whilst waiting for our room which they had ommitted to make up !!!!
Craig B — Google review
Hotel Puccini is a quaint hotel, with just the right amenities. They have a restaurant and a small bar. Room was clean and fairly spacious for Europe. The bathroom and shower are very small, but clean and functional. The bed was very comfortable. I liked being able to open the balcony door with the shutters closed to get fresh air. The personal service provided by the staff cannot be matched by large chain hotels. It feels like a family run business, and you get the feeling that they truly care about you while you're staying with them. There are fancier options nearby, but I truly enjoyed my stay.

Belvedere is a charming hotel housed in a historic building, located just 1 km from Montecatini Terme Train Station. The hotel offers spacious rooms with modern decor and parquet floors, equipped with amenities such as air conditioning and satellite TV. Guests can enjoy the shared terrace for sunbathing and relax by the indoor pool. The hotel's restaurant specializes in traditional Tuscan cuisine as well as Mediterranean and international dishes.
This is the second time that I visit Palazzo Belvedere and it’s been a pleasant experience again. I participated to one of their yoga classes, very relaxing, calming but also a useful exercise for my back and body in general. They usually program some workshops and I joined a home made candles one. Would recommend Palazzo Belvedere to those who are looking for relax, quality food and wellness. Congrats to the staff and to the owners!!

We recently stayed at the hotel and couldn’t have been happier. Check-in was seamless, our spotless, spacious room with a lovely view felt like home, and the staff—from concierge to housekeeping—were friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, with a huge parking area just steps away. Highly recommend!

A very nice hotel with perfect service, good cleaning, it’s really beautiful. Spa is very small but ok. Massage was good. Breakfasts are very poor, but you can do fresh juices - that’s a plus. Bar is good. It’s super close to the Thermes.

We just visited this Place and got hungry. So we went in to this nice little park with a huge open door which belongs to the hotel. But then we got a nice greeting (not) that this is a private entrance and we can not just walk around and take pictures as we please. I can understand that but he could've told us off a bit more politely (there is no sign or anything that would tell you anything outside the big open entrance). He then also didn't want to let us through the door to the restaurant there but wanted us to walk the way round just to make his point clear. Thanks for nothing. Went to eat at another place.

A spa hotel that looks impressive on the outside, and provides a warm welcome, after cycling from Lucca the welcome drink was very welcome! The spa is just as extensive with indoor and outdoor pools steam room and sauna to name just a few of the facilities. This is the type of place that you could arrive at and not leave until it was time to go home. The rooms are stunning and very relaxing.
Nick P — Google review
We honestly did not know what to expect when booking this hotel. We booked it last minute and came to Montecatini for 2 days. We are so happy we did end up here. Starting from the moment we checked in until we checked out, the whole staff was super hospitable and friendly- and were always available at any hour of the day/night. The service is stellar, there is lots of options for food at the hotel, and the bar stays open till very late at night. The rooms are very good (we booked the traditional suite), very clean, and the ac worked perfectly in the room (we were there during a heat wave). The gardens of the hotel are lovely and the space outdoors is nice. The only negative was that you need to check your bill at the end of your stay because they charged us many things twice or 3x when we only had it once/ there were mistakes in the bill. They mentioned they will reimburse us with the money for the things they wrongly charged when we brought it to their attention so it was handled well. The other thing we did not like was the massage, not recommended as a service. Overall we had a really good time and the staff was flexible.
Hanya K — Google review
The only slight disappointment has been the breakfast, I find it annoying to come to a five star hotel with breakfast included and to have to pay extra at breakfast most cooked options... only include scrambled eggs and have to pay for fried eggs or omelet, only include hard boiled eggs and have to pay for soft boiled eggs...

Overestimate for sure. Good location, near the city center. Breakfast, like a joke, not answering at the standards of a 4 stars hotel. Medium level of the personal's behaviour. Never again there.
ATHANASIOS S — Google review
Definitely not 4 star. Rooms tiny but clean. Windows did not open. Terrible decor especially black rooms with red decor. Dining room was extremely good service and breakfast was great!
Maya T — Google review
It is an unfriendly hotel for families with babies or for people with disabilities. The elevator was only one for all the guest of the hotel and breakfast on the fifth floor as a result, we had to wait for a lot of minutes until it comes and most of the time it was crowded! The most annoying part was that the staff didn’t help when they saw you with luggage, even though I was holding a baby and a stroller on hand! The receptionist was always on a bad mood with no obvious reason! To sum up, I do not recommend that at all as the hygiene was terrible to bathrooms and floors, with dust all over the place and cockroaches on stairs next to where we ate breakfast.
Loukia T — Google review
The hotel is a disaster. Where to start, as a mother of twins the elevator didn’t fit the stroller. No one came to help me go with the stairs even though I had my luggage with me. it’s dusty and dirty as hell. The floor is not cleaned the bathroom was full of other people’s hair . There were cockroaches on the floor next to the breakfast room. Also the staff was rude . The receptionist was not friendly, when I asked for an adapter as there were not available plugs on the room it costed 4€ extra. The windows couldn’t open, and when I asked for help they came into the room angry asking what the problem was. Finally there is only one elevator and it was crowded all the time let alone that it could not fit more than 2 people. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Small rooms, smaller showers , not for the tall, beds are very firm and not real comfortable. Food was well done. Bar service needs attention.

Loved the location of this hotel! The view from the restaurant on the 5th floor is beautiful! However, my son was staying in room 311, and he woke up after his first night surrounded by 5-6 bed bugs. He had been bitten three times. I understand that this probably happens in most international hotels. But when we communicated this to the staff, we were first told that we were mistaken and that they were mosquitos. We know what a mosquito looks like! Then we were told that they would change the sheets and not allow us to change rooms. My husband and I had to communicate that this was unacceptable. They finally let him change rooms. He and his friend were moved to room 411. When one of them showered in the morning, he found a dead bed bug on his bathroom towel. Thankfully we were checking out anyway that morning.

This 4* hotel is amazing. Montecatini Terme is the hidden gem of Tuscany. Great town with lots of places to eat, including the mountain town of Montecatini Alto with a great square for local shopping and dining with a great view of the valley. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, modern, with a classic feel & SUPER well price!. It's a few minute walk to the town center which has great shopping and places for coffee and to eat. Has free secure parking in the back of the hotel. We so happy with my stay and hotel.

Great value 4 stars Hotel situated in Montecatini Terme (have a visit of Montecatini Alto, very nice detour) for your visit a the Terme and as a starting point for your Tuscany tour. Your room will have some old fashioned furniture and need some renovation but it is very clean and quiet. Breakfast is varied, not exceptional but you have some choice. Also, there is a restaurant in the hotel and so many options around. Nice service staff.

When I got sick, they helped me find a hospital that was open and book a taxi for me and my boyfriend. Great breakfast where the staff asked to make you barista coffee, cappuccino or tea ect every morning. Only downside was the Queen-sized bed which were uncomfortable. But most helpful and service minded staff ever to be met!

The hotel is very dirty, there are no blankets, no body wash, the curtains are torn, and there are cobwebs in the corners of the floor. It’s really awful. How can this still be rated 4 stars? That’s too ridiculous. forgot to mention, there are even double eyelid stickers on the bathroom wall. Clearly, it wasn’t cleaned properly at all… What I thought would be a place to rest turned out to be somewhere I can’t relax at all.
Narsha — Google review
I honestly feel that even giving this hotel two stars is too generous. There was no drinking water provided in the room, and no kettle either. If you want hot water, you have to go to the restaurant—and even then, they charge you for it. The WiFi setup is frustrating and poorly designed, requiring guests to log in with a personal account just to connect. As for the amenities, the hotel still uses disposable plastic cups for rinsing, which feels cheap and environmentally unfriendly. To make things worse, the elevator light was broken during my stay and clearly hadn’t been fixed in a while. The buildings surrounding the hotel also look abandoned or half-ruined, adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend this place unless absolutely necessary.

We went there as a family of 4 with friends and stayed for 2 nights. The location is amazing and staff was very helpful. Anna from receptions shared lots of useful information with us along with suggestions on what to see locally. The rooms was spacious and clean. The breakfast was fresh, lots of options and yummy. We would highly recommend this hotel and is well placed if you want to see Pisa or Florence or both.

Not happy with the staff at Tuscany Inn. A man at the front desk didn't acknowledge me until he finished a conversation with his colleague as he was leaving. Secondly, Reception told me I can get 2 wine glasses from their upstairs breakfast room. The lady there gave me 2 small paper coffee cups and refused to give me the glasses. I went back downstairs to reception to report this. Only then did reception call the colleague to ask for the glasses and expected me to go back up to collect the glasses. This is an inconvenience to go up and then down between reception and the breakfast room as it is at a higher level. Back in the breakfast room, the same lady gave me scratched juice glasses with a cheeky smile. Hospitality needs to be respected and tourists shouldn't be taken for granted.

Very good value for money. Amazing hotel. Breakfast was much better than many Hilton hotels that i have stayed in to. Well done team!
Salman K — Google review
The front desk staff is very unfriendly. Asked to refill the detox/ welcome drink, he straight up said no, as far as I know drinks are kept for guests. The rooms were very run down, the beds weren’t comfortable at all, the water was yellow in the bathroom. Absolutely won't recommend this.
Milli P — Google review
The room is poorly cleaned up, the bedsheets seem to be clean but yet every single bed in the room has hairs on them, hairs in the bathroom floor and hairs in the shower which are obviously not ours because we just arrived here. The mattresses are really hard and feel cheap and the showers are small. The rooms sound isolation seems to be okay except for the door, you can hear everything going outside in the hallway if its noisy, it will definitely wake you up. Reasonable price.

Hotel Reale Montecatini Terme is a cozy choice located in the heart of Montecatini Terme, just steps away from Terme di Montecatini and Piazza del Popolo. This golf hotel offers comfortable rooms and a range of amenities including an outdoor pool, bicycles for rent, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals at the on-site restaurant with garden views or take advantage of 24-hour room service.
Lovely hotel in a great location within Montecatini Terme. Hotel is nice and quiet, lovely courtyard area for drinks. There is a little swimming pool area that was perfect for cooling off after a day out exploring. We did the half board option, breakfast was a little basic but perfectly adequate with continental and some hot options. Dinner was ok, 3 choices for starters and mains so usually something for everyone. We ate out a couple of nights which wasn't a problem and there are lots of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are quite dated but simple and comfortable. The real stars of this hotel are the staff, everyone was really friendly and helpful, the bar is always open and nothing is too much trouble. Sarah at the front of house was super helpful and directed us to local places and booked us taxis here and there. Overall great value hotel in a great location would recommend.

A lovely family run hotel perfectly located in Montecatini Terme. Stayed 4 nights in April 2025 and loved this hotel. The owners and their staff were very accommodating. The food was very good and it was reassuring to see the owners and their family joining us to eat in the evenings. The hotel is located right in the centre of Montecatini Terme, close to the railway station, Terme park and the shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was very spacious with a balcony and terrace and it was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a relaxing 4 night stay in this charming family-run hotel in Montecatini Terme. The dedicated and hard-working team really makes your stay special. Must mention Angela and Sara at reception for their friendliness and ability to resolve any concerns quickly. Food was honest and home-cooked style, great breakfast selection. Many grander "names" in Montecatini hotels, but you won't get a warmer experience than Hotel Reale. Thank you for making my daughter and I feel so at home.

Lovely staff in a 3 star Hotel. Nice pool albeit a little fresh! Breakfast was a buffet and plenty of choice. Dinner was 3 choices of primera, 3 choices of secunda with one warm veg and a dessert. There is a buffet of cold vegetables/salad that was varied and tasty. It's not starter and main course, this is Italy so the two courses are both hefty. Staff were all lovely and attentive.

Extended stay hotel
Hotel Torretta is a charming family-run hotel located in the lush greenery of Parco Delle Terme, offering a perfect base for exploring Montecatini. The warmly decorated rooms feature modern furnishings and free Wi-Fi, with some rooms offering private terraces. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and a bar, as well as cool gardens and reading rooms. It's conveniently situated near the city's parks, spa facilities, and sports establishments.
My visit was for the purpose of giving a concert at Montecatini Terme at the end of the week our group stayed at Hotel Torretta, the first week of August 2024. We were given use of the ballroom and the piano for our rehearsals. Meals were provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Water, tea and coffee were provided to us during our rehearsals. We had use of the pool and gardens. Our rooms were tidied up between breakfast and lunch. We also had bar service for coffee or drinks at our request. The facilities are well maintained and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. I needed a taxi to the airport far an early morning flight and it was simply arranged for me, the charge included with my bill for incidentals. No worries. No hassle. Although it was not exactly a vacation, I was able to enjoy my stay at the hotel the same as if I were simply staying to relax and get away from daily life. I have been very happy with every aspect of my stay.

Hotel Torretta is a delightful, family run establishment. My room was kept extremely clean. The food was varied and delicious. It has a nice 15m swimming pool. The staff are thoughtful and kind. Montecatini al Terme is a pleasant town with some nice shops and a pleasant park. There is a good sized public swimming pool. It is close to the largest thermal baths which is a beautiful site to visit. The hotel is close to the funicular ride to Montecatini Alto which is a pretty hilltop village with nice cafes and places to stroll and take in lovely views.

We stayed here for a week's family holiday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. We stayed half board and the food was delicious, with a beautiful salad buffet alongside three courses at dinner. They accomodated bespoke pasta and gelato options for my fussy child without drama. The place is very clean, the beds are comfy and the pool area is wonderful. Parking is right outside and is free. There are many things to entertain, either in town or within short drives or train trips. There were several solo travellers staying at the time we were, and I think this would be a great option for them. I felt truly refreshed after a week here and would certainly stay again. The service and welcome is impeccable, and I hope this place thrives for years to come.

This hotel is a delight on all fronts. The building and grounds (including a big pool) are stylish and comfortable, and the location in this art nouveau town is ideal for relaxing in peace and greenery. Day trips to cities such as Florence, Pisa and Lucca are easy by train. But best of all is the warmth of the welcome from the Simoncini family and their staff, who have been with them for years. Lovely people, lovely place, excellent food.
Alison S — Google review
The breakfast was excellent. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff was very attentive. I really appreciated both the warm welcome at the reception and the polite and lovely attitude of the service staff. Both the common areas and the room were very clean. Additionally, the garden was very pleasant and enjoyable.

As a solo female traveller this hotel was perfect in every way! I was made to feel at home from the beginning to the very end of my stay. It is a family run hotel and this added to my Italian experience and comfort. The food was amazing and my room was cleaned with clean bed sheets every day. The gardens and pool area was perfect for taking a day out from exploring the beautiful town and just relaxing. The location was great with close proximity to the funiculare that takes you to the hill top old town of montecatini alto and an approx 10 min walk through the beautiful park land to the town. I truly relaxed throughout my break thanks to my stay at this hotel. I will definitely be returning asap. Thank you so much!

Hotel Salus is located in Montecatini Terme, within walking distance of Terme di Montecatini and Terme Excelsior. The hotel offers a restaurant, snack bar/deli, and bar/lounge for guests to enjoy. While the building is old, the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning. Some visitors have noted that the breakfast could use more variety in terms of fruits and vegetables.
After drinking 22 bottles of water I can say it is of good quality 👍

I recently stayed here with a big group of people and it reached a good standard. It is a typical Italian hotel from the 80’s. Decor is dated but it had character. Nothing really fancy but it was clean. The bedrooms were clean and the mattresses were all new. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful in my opinion. We also had a group dinner here and it was again good. Only 1 A/C out of the 25 rooms that our group occupied didn’t really run well and didn’t fully chill down the room. All in all. Good for a student group. Staying for two nights. Also the area around the hotel is quite beautiful and chill in the evening times.
Daniel C — Google review
Stayed at this hotel for a school trip. The hotel was tired but the facilities were all that we needed. Everything was clean and the beds were made daily. The towels were very thin and not at all absorbent, so I would recommend bringing your own! The breakfast selection was limited. Dinner was fresh and a wide range of food was served but the service itself was very slow. The staff were friendly at all interactions, and there was somebody at reception 24/7. The hotel is an okay walking distance from local supermarkets and the town square.
Omar K — Google review
Contrary to previous posts, there were no bed bugs or rats. Rooms were clean. We had a student group traveling so we had 25 rooms. The only issue was one AC unit not working properly. Asked management to fix it but it still didn’t work. Asked to change rooms and were told “no”. That was the only negative we ran into. The location was not wonderful (some run down/falling down buildings nearby), but we never felt unsafe.
Autumn C — Google review
The hotel has hollow walls, you can hear all the guests from the hotel a few floors above. The hotel door can be locked in the middle of the day and you have to waaaait for them to open it. In the middle of breakfast time there can be no food and you have to wait a long time for them to bring you something else. Staff was unkind. Recommendation to avoid it
Dusko P — Google review
Came here on tour to Tuscany with my wind band. The building is old, but the rooms are decently nice, all have air-con and the service is great. The breakfast is pretty good, with croissant and cake, but a complaint among us was a lack of fruit and veg. The area isn't that busy, until you walk a bit to the high-streets, and there is green-space nearby.
Ryu M — Google review
Avoid at any cost. We got this hotel via traveling agency as a part of the package of exploring Toskana region. The place is almost in ruin, doors work poorly, windows are barely opening, everything needs renovation. Breakfast? Best part of the story. I understand that Italians eat basic stuff a croissant, some cheese and a coffee for breakfast and I am fine with that, but I've never seen hotel giving you only one croissant per person, will add a picture of that as well. Literally you have one croissant per seating in breakfast area and that is it. Everything else constantly runs out, and there is no one to refill it. Go anywhere else but here. Montecatini is a an amazing place to enjoy, don't let this God awful hotel ruin it for you. Rating 2/5 just because it's cleaner than you eould expect.

Owners are good people. Hotel feels like it is in the 80's. Rooms size is okay, bathroom is very small. We needed to wait for few minutes for warm water for shower. Service was nice. For breakfast we had a lot in quantity but the food was the same every day. All in all, very good experience.
Mihovil I — Google review
I'm afraid I can't share the postive ratings for this hotel. I stayed there for a week at the end of September 2021, and it was sizzling hot in the town (almost 30 degrees every day). My hotel room at Brennero and Varsavia was even hotter, so I could find no sleep. But the hotel management refused to switch on the air condition despite several requests of me. First I asked the guy at the reception, but he declined, saying that other guest had complained about the rooms being too cold. I can't understand this because every guest can switch the air condition on and off individually. After that I asked the leader of our travel group to ask the hotel management to switch on the air condition - but to no avail. Then I asked my travel agency for help. And guess what happened: nothing! The hotel management did not bother to switch on the air condition, stating it was off-season already. Haha! It was hot like in mid-July. I think this is extremely disrespectful towards the guests, baring in mind that at the entrance of the hotel there is a big sign saying "aria condizionata" (air condition). But on top of it all, there was no toilet paper in my bathroom for the last day of my stay. A sweet revenge by the hotel management?! All in all: no more than one out of five stars!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming, family-run hotel. It’s a simple place—nothing fancy—but perfect for families who want a clean, pleasant, and comfortable base to explore Italy. The area is quiet and safe, and our group of teens had a great time walking around nearby. The family who runs the hotel is absolutely amazing—warm, helpful, and truly dedicated to making sure guests are well taken care of. They went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs (no pork, no mixing of meat and dairy), and the food at dinner was delicious and abundantly served. We stayed for a week with a group of soccer players and their families. Everyone had a great experience—my son, his friends, and the parents. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a cozy and kind place to stay in Italy!

The rooms are dirty. The shower door cannot be closed. The refrigerator in the room is not working. The balcony door cannot be closed either. The draperies on the windows, as well as the headboards on the beds, have a stale unpleasant smell. Dirty, dirty, dirty. I have never stayed in a worse hotel. The only thing is that the location is good. Staff not interested. They don't care when you address them. They just pass you by. The receptionist is also a waiter and assistant in the kitchen.... You will be waiting waiting if you need something. Departure from the hotel, which was supposed to be at 10 a.m., has been moved to 9 a.m., because there is a new group and they are forcing us out of the rooms earlier in order to "sort them out". The beds are miserable. Metal, peeling legs, wardrobes as if they were from 50 years ago. TV shelf full of dust. Although the age is double, there is only one old metal chair on the terrace…. This hotel does not deserve literally a single star. I wonder what the criteria are in Italy if they categorize this hotel with 3 stars.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It's a family hotel. All the staff of this hotel are very kind. Great praise for the owner and his son. This is not some luxury hotel, but the rooms are spacious and clean. Here you can feel the family warmth and hospitality. For the price of the hotel the food is just fine. You get dinner in three courses. Within the hotel there is a swimming pool and a small terrace. For those who are not demanding this is the right place to relax during tourist visits.
Ana K — Google review
This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever been to. Honestly, I can't believe this place is operating in these conditions. The bedspreads were stained, and the beds and bathroom were covered in hair. The air conditioning is only on fan mode and doesn't cool at all; if you want to set it to cold, it turns off. The problem isn't that it's old, it's that it's very unpleasant and shouldn't be open to the public. We ended checking out the same day and moving to The Hotel Reale which is very close and is a thousand times better.

We were lucky enough to stay at Villa la Moresca for almost a whole week in August. All over, it was a wonderful stay. The owners are incredible. They welcome you so warmly and make you feel like you are on holiday at your friends house. The breakfast is a highlight with all the delicious homemade things. Every wish is fulfilled and even special requests such as gluten-free or lactose-free dishes were extra prepared. The garden area including the pool is beautifully landscaped, so you can enjoy the pool and the great view all day long. (Translated by Google) Disappointing. First of all, the villa is an outbuilding of the Michelangelo hotel, there is no swimming pool, the garden is not landscaped, no dining room to have breakfast, no private parking. These are only rooms annexed to the hotel. If you want to go to the swimming pool you will have to go to the hotel one but the few deckchairs are reserved in the morning and the towels are charged at 5€ per person and the swimming pool juxtaposes the street with a lot of views. We had chosen a superior room and had a room in poor condition which smelled old and musty, the toilet leaked onto the floor, the roof window blind broken which woke us up at dawn, very poorly soundproofed us heard absolutely everything, and to top it all off insects (spiders and others..). Poorly organized breakfast, only one waitress serves the buffet even though the hotel is full. We preferred to shorten our stay from the first night instead of staying 4 days. The people at reception didn't even ask how the stay went and why we were cutting it short. Not even a “thank you goodbye” after checking out. I advise against it, move on quickly.

(Translated by Google) Unique structure, very clean and welcoming. The managers (mother and daughter) were very courteous and helpful. They prepare super abundant, varied and rich breakfasts every day. Air-conditioned rooms and absolute relaxation. The only improvement to be made (but precisely to reach the top) is to modernize the shower compartment. We will definitely return and recommend it with a score of 10 (Original) Struttura unica pulitissima e accogliente. Le gestrici (madre e figlia) molto cortesi e disponibili. Preparano giornalmente colazioni super abbondanti varie e ricche. Camere climatizzate e relax assoluto. Unica miglioria da apportare (ma proprio per raggiungere il top) rimodernizzare il vano doccia. Located in Montecatini Terme, Grand Hotel Croce di Malta offers luxurious design rooms and suites as well as a Thai Silk spa. The property also features an outdoor pool and a restaurant.
Beautiful, modern yet still maintaining the local feel of the Tuscany experience with the beautiful decor inside and throughout the hotel. Each employee is welcoming and kind not just to le, but over and over I witnessed their hospitality. From the check in to the check out experience every single aspect was spot on and I will be retuning and HIGHLY recommending this hotel to everyone. The hotel has an amazing restaurant that they serve a large variety of breakfast foods for anyone in the family to find filling and delicious. They also have a nice menu to select lunch and dinner options from if you wanted to stay in and relax poolside or in your room. Speaking of their pool……BEAUTIFUL and relaxing with plenty of lounge chairs and outside seating with the bar open to serve your wine and drinks. They have the Thai Silk Spa to indulge in your massage and wellness needs. You will notice each employee always smiling and greeting you, no matter the time day or night. This is the difference and experience that will have you feel when you are a guest of Grand Hotel Croce Di Malta. This hotel is perfect for your solo, family, vacation or business travels and you will absolutely already start planning your return trip (just like me) when you get back home because of their employees, the hotels beauty and modern comforts and location of right in the middle of the peaceful park and local lively piazza. Thank you to the management for getting the hotel experience right and safe for travelers! I HIGHLY encourage and recommend everyone to stay here while traveling in the Tuscany area due to being about 30-45 minutes from EVERYTHING you want to see and experience in Italy.

Great Location, comfortable beds and room service was friendly and did a wonderful job. Fabio was polite, friendly and offered exceptional service. We wish the air conditioning was working. We were told it was due to the city rules, so no fault of the resort.

The reception area and maid service was excellent. The hotel is air conditioned but if you open your balcony door make sure it is closed properly, as it is tied to the AC. If open, the AC won't work. The restaurant does a good job with breakfast but if you are American, you may find the scrambled eggs and bacon not cooked enough. The selection of other items is great! Dinner was also flavorful and there are plenty of choices on the menu at a reasonable price.

Truly beautiful hotel! Large, clean rooms with a terrace. Food was wonderful, the pool was lovely & the staff were all great—they went above & beyond to help & answer questions & give advice. One of our group members was injured & they were prompt in getting her medical help. We had contacted the hotel before our flight, asking for a room on a lower floor due to my husband’s walking with a cane. They were happy to help & they have an elevator! We’d love to go back again!

Great spot, was underwhelmed by the staff. They were not very helpful nor were they welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous, as is the pool. We spent a whole day at the pool and it was lovely. The spa is not worth it. We did the “Turkish bath” which was nothing like a Turkish bath, and the “warm bath” it was a lukewarm tub. Some of the jets weren’t working either. Very disappointed for the 100 euros we spent there.

The hotel rooms are very good, modern and much bigger than many other hotel rooms that I have seen in Italy. However the service definitely needs an improvement.

Rooms don't have tea, coffee fisilities. Basic room but bed very comfy. Bathroom very nice. Balcony was small but nice. Restaurant & staff very nice. Food lovely. Hotel beautiful. Didn't use Spa area as was on a group trip, so didn't get time to experience the Spa area.

Grand Hotel Tamerici & Principe is a luxurious 4-star hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, offering casual rooms and suites with balconies. The hotel features a Tuscan eatery, spa, and outdoor pool for guests to enjoy. It is well-placed for access to the town center and is just a couple of kilometers from the funicular to visit Montecatini Alto. The spacious rooms are immaculately clean and offer beautiful views of the rooftop and mountains.
My family had a great experience staying at the hotel this summer. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful personel. Tasty and delicious dishes. Spacious rooms. Close to the main attractions, a park with thermal springs, and also a train station.

The Grand Hotel America and Principe is a great location to visit Tuscany. The area is very safe for walking and the neighborhood has a peaceful air about it. The owner, Emilio Pancioli, greeted us and made sure we were satisfied with the hotel rooms/staff service and restaurant accommodation. The staff was very kind and went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. Very accommodating. Our grandchildren enjoyed the hotel pool and our proximity to town center. The nearby Finiculare and thermal baths is a must visit for everyone.

Very nice location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful and has great potential but honestly, I think they got 4 star because of the spa facility. The hotel is so old it smells of dust and the air conditioning is non existent. I complaint so many times but they did nothing.
Mutaz H — Google review
This hotel is SO old and dated. Looks like a luxury hotel from 1890s. Areas throughout are dark and dingy, decor is shabby, rooms are small, beds are hard as rocks and towels are old and thin. The keys (an actual door key) have a 2 lb weight attached, the A/C doesn't work, and the breakfast is mostly from a can or pre-packaged breads. Hotel is directly across the street from several bars that don't close til 3 or 4am so it was loud ALL night long. Not worth the $$ spent (we stayed on a group tour - did not get a choice on accommodations). This place is a major dump and I would never stay here again.
JulieAnne F — Google review
The hotel seems to cater for tour groups, although there one or two couples who probably wondered what had hit them. At times there were 4 tour groups and there were just 2 coffee machines, so there were huge queues at breakfast, especially as some people would take 3 drinks at a time! Downstairs was fine but the room was very dated, with light switches not working and curtains hanging off the hooks. Balcony furniture was dirty. Bathrooms were very clean. It was in a good location and food was fine. Staff mostly pleasant but the main barman could be very moody and grumpy.
Sarah — Google review
Not enough staff to support their customers. Multiple times there was a line of people at the desk complaining about the air conditioning not working and they seemed to make a note about it, and left it at that. After a couple of days at the hotel it still hadn’t been fixed. I saw a lady ask to get some sheet music copied and they kept making the same mistakes and charged her 20 euro for all their mistakes. They are either incompetent or dishonest. I’m not sure which. WiFi is worthless. Just plan to use your mobile data plan. I couldn’t even browse the internet, much less stream anything. Update: They did eventually get us a new room on level 1 after showing the big sores my wife had from trying to stay cool the first night by leaving the window open. The temperature was at least reasonable in that room.
Peter I — Google review
We came here with a huge group (school trip) and as soon as we entered our rooms some of our friends found fleas everywhere (in the bed on the ceiling etc) the staff was too angry to deal with this and just gave them a new room but as the night began we went downstairs to ask about the breakfast and they just told us to go to our room and didnt answered our questions abt breakfast. We did not felt safe here, there has been a robbery of a car and that was terrifying. Location is too dangerous service is rude and the rooms? Yeah no beed to talk after the fleas. After the trip ends ima go and get checked at a doctor.🤢

While some guests found the rooms to be hot due to poor AC and encountered issues with WiFi, others appreciated the cleanliness and basic amenities provided.
I spent 3 nights in this hotel with two of my friends and we really enjoyed our stay.Good location, warm atmosphere, fantastic food and very clean. And another thing that really impressed us was the staff , they were very welcoming and friendly. I really recommend this hotel.

We've visited Monte Catini as dance group od 80people (most of the children) and this hotel was disaster! On the reception there was granma 90 years old and she coundn't help us of anything. There was one elevator for 2 person or just a suitcases wiht veeery slow speed. There was a sweemingpool but we didn't get permision to use it! Shower cabin is to narrow! Bigger person can't shower here! Last day in the morming staff turn of the aircondition in all rooms to get wet and leave the hotel as soon as possible 😠

If you are going to Montecatini Therme, I suggest you book somewhere else, because the experience wasn't nice at all! Air Conditioning is not working, because *saying the owners statement* There aren't a lot of people, normal act to save money... Let's just say that it was NEARLY 40 degrees C I couldn't even breathe and we needed a FAN, which we waited 1 hour for... The swimming pool was full of dead fly's and other creatures and it was the size of a kids pool, at least make it a little bit deeper, you can't do anything! Owners yell at you for not having a swimming cap. As for the rooms, a bit outdated furniture, but the staff have a history of stealing and there were hairs everywhere. Bathroom was small, had an extremely small shower cab and the hair dryer didn't do anything I washed my hair for 1 hour!!!!!! Staff is extremely rude and they can insult and accuse you for nothing. The breakfast is so boring and you have to eat the same thing everyday. And I got food poisoning from the red juice, it hurt really bad. When we were in our rooms there was too much noise like the rooms were made from foam. I just think the hotel needs new and better staff, and a renovation to the rooms and swimming pool.

Very nice hotel, with a beautiful location. In the center of Montecatini. Very nice atmosphere and people who are the owners and workers. I recommend.
Marija N — Google review
Awful. The hygiene was horrible, and the rooms were disgusting. Before I left to go for a walk, I set the lock on my suitcase on 333, and returned to see the numbers set on 554. Apart from so, I returned to see that someone used the shower while I was absent. It still had water in it, along with a strand of someone's hair. The walls were dirty and filled with stains, the bedsheets were dusty and smelled horribly, and the towels were dirty. And food? The portions were extremely small. One time, for dinner we had only ONE egg and an orange. The elevator is extremely small, and only one person can fit in it with a small suitcase. It is located in some form of a ghetto, where if you go outside men would follow you, record you and catcall you. The staff ignores all complaints and pretends to not know a word of English.

This is the worst hotel i ever visited in my life! Dirty, smelly. They dont throw the garbage every day!!!! The furniture is old and outdated! The so called swimming pool is almost like kids pool and there are tens of conditoons to use it even though it is not so clean also! The ultimate disaster is the air conditioning! It is practically not working! In July, in Italy, when outside is nearly 40 degrees C they dont have a proper cooling system in the rooms!!!Unbelievable mysery! The owner try to safe money and switch it off during the day when it is mostly needed! His statement is that in his hotel, air conditioning shall not working during the day- so smart of you, stingy r@t! People, be wise, never book in this miserable hotel!

Hotel Parma e Oriente is an elegant 1920s property located in Montecatini Terme, offering upscale rooms and suites. The hotel features a salt-water swimming pool with a hydromassage area surrounded by tropical gardens. Guests can enjoy Italian and Tuscan specialties at the posh restaurant and relax at the bar. The spacious and elegantly furnished rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, and en suite bathrooms.
We had a very peaceful and enjoyable two weeks on half board. Our room was in the Villa rather than the hotel. It was rather dated but very clean with ample hot water. The Villa has its own lounge area to relax in. We took a travel kettle and coffee sachets as the room does not have one as standard. The safe key deposit was 20Euros which was refunded on return. Very comfortable beds. The hotel is centrally located just off Via Verde, conveniently positioned for Terme Tettuccio, the Funicular to Alto and only 10-15 minutes walk to the two railway stations which give you access to Florence, Pistoia, Lucca and Pisa. Want a nice friendly cafe for coffee, wine, pastries or lunch… head for 54 Via Verde. You need to understand that Montecatini has many closed hotels and spas but retains its upmarket feel.

Excellent location in an a fascination town. Proximity to railway station s bonus. Staff super efficient, I like pasta so all good for me. The wine good value for money. Excellent pool, I enjoyed it for an hour a day The rooms : bathroom / bedroom small by todays standards. Terrace a good escape from the room. Thank you - we'll be back.

We were a little apprehensive about our stay here as could see it was dated and not the kind of place we would usually choose, but the room was clean and comfortable and we had a really stay here. The pool was nice, plenty of loungers and the bar was good. Breakfast was solid but hit and miss. Parking available just before hotel for 15€/night. Only one iron in the whole hotel and no filtered water available so spent a lot of small bottles at the bar. Quite a lot of noise in the morning from other guests/the restaurant/other rooms/plumbing but not noisy generally.
Lexie N — Google review
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We recently stayed at the hotel and overall had a pleasant experience, but there were a couple of hiccups worth mentioning. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was incredibly warm and welcoming — truly going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It was clear she cared about our stay and did everything she could to assist us, which we really appreciated. However, one thing that caught us off guard was the parking situation. We were informed that parking was payable on-site, but the hotel only accepted cash. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash on me at the time, which meant I had to take a 20-minute walk to and from an ATM just to pay for parking. This was quite inconvenient, and it would have made the check-in process much smoother if this cash-only policy had been communicated beforehand. The other issue we encountered was with the night porter. We often like to unwind in the evenings with a bottle of wine back at the hotel, but it felt like asking the night porter for a drink was an imposition. His customer service left a lot to be desired — he rarely engaged with us in a friendly manner and, on several occasions, was quite sharp and even rude. This was disappointing, as it detracted from what was otherwise a comfortable stay. That said, these were the only real problems we faced. Aside from these points, everything else about the hotel and the staff was great. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were good, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. With a little improvement in communication about parking and some customer service training for the night porter, this hotel could easily offer a five-star experience. We hope our feedback is helpful and that the hotel takes it on board to enhance future guests’ stays.

My single room with a balcony was small but very comfortable and had everything I needed. I really liked the traditional painted furniture. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was excellent.
Moira C — Google review
I would have given this hotel an overall five stars, but the food presentation wasn't the best I've encountered. Just seemed to be lacking something and shutting off of coffee machines etc was very time restrictive, i.e. everyone expected to vacate dining room at 10am or 9pm. (That said the staff were under pressure to clear and present tables for next meal session.)

Grand Hotel Panoramic is a 4-star hotel situated in the northern borders of Montecatini Terme's famous thermal parks. The property boasts modern facilities, luminous halls, and a beautiful winter garden with large glass windows facing the terrace and swimming pool. The individually furnished rooms and suites offer various amenities such as spa baths, panoramic balconies, or little gardens. Additionally, guests can enjoy discounts at Montecatini Golf.
After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly a bit worried about what we would find. We arrived yesterday and were welcomed wonderfully. The check-in was smooth, and the room meets everything that was promised. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The staff truly does their best. A hotel with charm.

Decided to book via booking based on the photos. It's just a mess. It is not a 4 star hotel for sure, maybe in the 70s or 80s but not now. Booked the superior room with balcony, just awful. Was expecting much better for a 4 star hotel and based on the booking photos. Will not recommend to anyone and will present a complain via booking. Felt like a scam. The only good part was the staff, very professional and helpful.

Grand Hotel Panoramic – Good, but Missing Love for the Details Overall, the stay was mostly OK. The outdoor pool is great for longer swimming, and breakfast was good. But… there are small details that really affect the overall experience: • In the shower – only frames, but no grid! Where to put shampoo, soap, or anything else? • In the room – two huge additional mattresses just lying there. Why? No place to move them? • Outside areas – visible garbage and lack of care. These may seem like small things, but they make a big difference in atmosphere and guest comfort. My honest wish: Please pay attention to these details. They don’t cost much, but fixing them could completely change the feeling of the hotel.
Darius R — Google review
This hotel was an emergency booking for a week as the hotel we we had booked just happened to have drained the swimming pool and would not be fixed for at least three days. So quick search online and Grand Panoramic seemed OK, we even went for a superior room. Oh my what a mistake. We lasted one night before we gave up. Where to start. The room, bathroom and general hotel areas are still in the 1980's. Just check our our superior room un the pictures and the bathroom. The bar although 24 hour only has house wine, you can't buy a bottle, drinks are very limited as they seem to be pushing 8 euro cocktails. We were told the bar was cash only and you can't put drinks or bar food/lunch on the room. We went to order a 10 euro pasta for lunch only to be told its 2 euros person cover charge to eat anywhere at the hotel apart from your own room. The interior furniture is a mish-mash of furniture styles, all from at least 20 years ago. Breakfast buffet has only warm scrambled egg, with otherwise a very basic continental breakfast but with dry bread. The "spa" area is sqeezed onto the side of the ground floor of the hotel and consists of a small pool, a hot tub and a sauna, charged at 25 euros a day. Check out the pictures, I would not risk my health using that. The pool looks grubby and unfinished and the wooden bridge does nothing to help. The evening meal charge at 30 euro per person for a limited set menu selection, we did not entertain given what we saw of breakfast. This hotel is seriously under-invested in and the only thing not 1980's about the hotel is the WiFi. If you are all out of luck and desperate as we were booking this hotel, you need to make some allowances, but we just could not put up for more than a night at was us supposed to be a four star hotel. So asking to cancel our reservation the hotel owner met with us and claimed, you can put drinks on your room from the bar. Our rooms bathroom was only recently upgraded, the spa charge was for the week not per day and she has spent over a million on the propertyjust in the kadt year.. All very interesting and totally unbelievable given our pictures and what the staff repeatedly told us. On reflection, this has to be the worst hotel we have stayed at with an owner clearly in total denial about the state of her establishment. We checked out the next day, crossed the street to the lovely hotel behind with a modern fresh feel you expect and saved 100 euros in the process even after paying for an extra night as cancellation fee.

Few things- this is not a 4 star hotel. Do not stay here unless you have a car. It is very dated and the air conditioning barely works. The coffee should be made available 24 hrs but they close up at 10 am and there are no coffee pods in room. Front desk service is not so great, you get the typical service, taxi service is weak, they arrive when they can and is expensive. Public transport from here works at will and not on schedule. All in all not a location and hotel to picked.
Immaterial G — Google review
Rooms are clean, room service impeccable, nice view. But they have a system to put the drinks consumption on the room number, and things that were never consumed appeared on our room. And staff wasn't collaborative at all to fix the issue. They also don't have any security cameras to prove the consumption.
Laura N — Google review
TLDR: clean, excellent value for money, friendly staff, poor wifi. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. We were given a room at the end of the corridor which we were happy with. Good size, nice bathroom, hallway, closet, long dresser, drawers. The bathroom had a comfortable shower, wc, bidet and hairdryer, nice window with shutters. Bedside there were bedside cabinets, power sockets. It's worth bringing a converter or distributor, or buying locally, as there is only one socket for each of the bedside cabinets, the smaller 10 amp variety. The schuko plug does not go in. There's a TV with Italian channels, and a small fridge that can cool quite a lot of things when neatly packed away. The room is cooled by fancoil, if you need a cold beer quickly, just put it on and it's ready to drink after 15 minutes :). The fancoil and the fridge are a bit noisy, but we didn't mind, even though we are sensitive to that. The cleanliness was first class, the maids were kind and attentive. We did not have to be told once about anything. The wifi in the rooms (at least in ours) was pretty poor. Even when it was connected it was slow, or when it was peak time it disappeared for minutes. I think this could be improved. They were also nice at reception, although they didn't have much to do with us as we didn't have any problems. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet breakfast. It's not a big thing but it does the job, you won't go hungry. I ate for two weeks, with a little attention you can vary it. The waitress at breakfast is really cute and smiling, a great way to start the day. The coffee is quite drinkable for Italy. The sweetener tablet is behind the coffee machine! The location of the hotel is quite good. No noise, the windows are very well insulated, although in the evenings a couple of bikers do pull the throttle, but you don't hear anything else. The Funicolare is very close, well worth the go up to Montecatini Alto. If you want to get to crowded area, a walk through the park will take you to the centre of town in 10 minutes. On the way there is the old spa building, definitely worth a visit. There's a nice big car park opposite the hotel, very convenient if you're coming by car. There was always a space. The hotel pool is usable, finally a place with deep water, you can swim a few laps normally. Thank you Hotel! The sun beds are comfortable and when we were there, there were always free. There is a pool buffet, good for a beer (although 8 EUR) but don't expect great shows. All in all we were maximally satisfied with the hotel, we will smoothly go there again if we go that way. I think the value for money is among the best in the area. Suggestions to the hotel: - Improve the wifi - Could have more hangers. It is, but could easily fit more. - Have soap at the sink for hand washing, because it's more environment friendly than opening the individually wrapped shower gels.

Clean rooms good facilities pool etc. Service very good and helpful. Breakfast adequate and help yourself. Evening meal was possibly the 3rd worst meal I have ever had. Starter: was tasteless apart from the tomato sauce. Main: two bits of over done sausage, one bit of tough chicken, two bits of hard bread and some terrible mashed potatoes and sloppy mushy broccoli . (Totally Awful) Sweet: some type of custard slice (No taste) This hotel needs a chef!

Hotel Montecatini Palace is a luxurious 5-star Art Nouveau establishment located in the stylish town of Montecatini Terme. It offers a polished restaurant, rooftop pool, spa, sauna, ice room, Turkish bath, indoor pool and wellness treatments. The hotel is conveniently situated within driving distance to major tourist destinations such as Lucca and Siena.
We stayed here for the weekend. There was sauna, jacuzzi and rooftop pool and bar. Very good place to have a relaxing time. Our room was warm and small and the first night we basically couldn’t sleep. We left the window open and of course in the morning it was too bright and noisy. The AC was under the table and that must have been the reason. I was happy to see there was an electric kettle and coffee maker in the room with tea bags because my tea and coffee are very important to me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good too. Of course it was a pricey experience but we were satisfied.

My friends and I, who have been staying at this hotel while on a tour of Tuscany, are shocked that this is rated 5 stars. They must have bribed someone! There is cheap laminate on the floors in my room which has warped and bubbled up. You can't control the temperature in your room, which is a problem. I sent laundry at 8:00 am (I was told "in by 11, back by noon the next day") and did not get my laundry--which was only a few small items--back the day it was due. The website shows the hotel lit up and beautiful at night, but in fact they never turn the front lights on, though we have asked--we'd like to sit in the front of the hotel and all the others in the neighborhood are lit up and friendly. The rooms were not ready at 2:00 PM for check in. The restaurant is really overpriced. Look, I would be fine with this place had I been expecting a 3 star but the quality is mediocre. We laughed when I poured myself a class of water in the lobby and chased me to the elevator saying "you cannot bring that to your room!" Although it was a cheap plastic glass. Attached is a photo of the floor where you can see the bubbling.

The room was nice; however, I was disappointed to find out that the biscuit and wine that were located next to the water that said was complimentary were actually not. Be careful to only take things that actually have the complimentary label attached to it and not next to it. Also, we were charged 7 euros more for the wine than others on the trip.

Great spa! Had a wonderful massage. Food and beverages on site were extremely expensive and not very good. Breakfast however was included and was really very good! There are many great places to walk to for dinners so not a problem. Staff was great!

This hotel looks good from the outside but has a lot of issues. Once we got in our room we felt that the AC was not working. After several complaints - also in the middle of the night we didn’t got a solution. Only the second night at 11PM we were offered another room after again multiple complaints. The hotel told us to reimburse all costs. Until today we didn’t receive anything and don’t get any response.

Fantastic experience at the hotel. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke English which was helpful. The hotel is stunning - a great location just 10 minutes walk into town and parking on the street outside. Rooms are super spacious with high ceilings, rainfall showers and we had a wraparound balcony on our Junior Suite. Breakfast was included with our stay and was on the good end of the spectrum when it comes to hotel buffets. A nice selection of pasties etc and also fresh egg omelettes/poached egg on toast. Restaurant staff were super friendly and attentive and by the second breakfast Gaetano had already memorised our order 2 cappuccinos and 2 ham and cheese omelettes 😅. Every day of our stay, the room was tidied and refreshed by Housekeeping. Kristina was amazing and although we couldn’t speak Italian, she was so friendly and warming. The room was lovely and quiet - there is full sound proofing and also electronic shutters too. Bed was comfortable and a good size. Complimentary water in the room each day. If you’re driving make sure to ask reception for both a parking permit and also a ZTL (congestion zone) white list, just incase you accidentally go down the wrong street. A huge thank you to Marianna and Francesco on Reception, Cristiana in Housekeeping and Gaetano + the rest of the restaurant team!

Hotel
Nestled in the heart of Montecatini Terme, Grand Hotel Bellavista Palace & Golf offers a luxurious retreat with stunning panoramic views of the Tuscan hills. The hotel features a blend of Art Nouveau and modern architecture, housing elegant suites and guest rooms. Guests can indulge in fine dining at two restaurants or unwind at the bar. The property boasts a spa, exercise room, and two pools for relaxation.
From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Bellavista Palace, we were captivated by its grand elegance and impeccable style. The décor throughout the hotel is truly breathtaking — an exquisite blend of luxurious furnishings, tasteful color palettes, and beautiful accent details that exude classic charm and sophistication. Each morning, the breakfast exceeded all expectations. The buffet included a delightful assortment of fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, premium local cheeses, cold cuts, and a selection of hot items like eggs and pancakes. The quality of the coffee and fresh juices was exceptional — it consistently provided a delightful start to our day. The pool area felt like a private oasis amidst the hotel’s lush surroundings. The water was perfectly clear, the loungers were plush and plentiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Whether taking a refreshing morning dip or enjoying an afternoon lounge, it was the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate. Hospitality was as refined as the ambiance — the staff was attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist with a warm, gracious smile. In short, the Grand Hotel Bellavista Palace offers a flawless combination of luxurious décor, superb breakfast, and an inviting pool setting. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Montecatini Terme for a truly memorable and relaxing experience. I can’t wait to return!

We arrived a lil bit after check in time, and waited 25mins at the reception desk before someone came to finally help us. One of our rooms was not ready and still dirty. They said they’re going clean it right away and 15min later it was „done.“ It’s hard to believe that 1 guy could disinfect at least the bathroom, change the bedsheets, the ‚blanket‘ which seemed like a couch blanket, vacuum etc. The rooms themselves were outdated, spiderwebs everywhere, lamps/furniture broken, wall outlets were falling off, flooring was cracked, our toilet was leaking and creating a puddle , not to mention the bad old smell in not only the room but the whole hotel. The terrace behind the rooms had old feces everywhere and was overall dirty, even old smoked cigarettes were in the ashtray and on the ground. Walking past the dining hall/spa, pool area, the hallway is not ventilating at all creating moisture and humid air which you could see on the windows. Moving on the first morning, as we sat down on the table some of the silverware was dirty and rusty. We proceeded to get some food, only to realize that the for example eggs and bacon were FRIDGE cold, not cooling off cold, it was literally cold, even tho they were on a ‚heater‘. There were options to get some ‚fresh‘ eggs and bacon which for a 5 star hotel you wouldn’t think of needing to pay for overpriced. After experiencing all of that we ended up both having breakfast at all, since the coffee was from a outdated Machine as well which was not drinkable. It seemed very understaffed, there was no bartender on New Year’s Eve. We had to ask the front staff personnel for help and he ended up giving us our drinks. The staff was somewhat nice, whenever we confronted them about the issues they were somewhat nice about it but they also kept saying that this was the style of the hotel. I don’t how being unsanitary is a style. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all, the only thing that was good about it is the location, that’s it. The free parking on the other side of the hotel is just a public parking for everybody.

An amazing and romantic hotel with a very friendly staff. The outside pool area is the best feature of the property with sun all day. It is the best place to relax. The food is really good and the breakfast is lovely, especially to be enjoyed outside. It’s the fourth year in a row that we have visited in the summer and certainly not the last

Great facilities, terrible and rude waitress at the dining room that ruined the good impression of the hotel.

Room was beautiful, but the staff that served breakfast were racist and rude to us and our group the entire 3 days we were there. They really favor Western Europeans, but show little to no hospitality to anyone outside that niche. It's quite disappointing and it ruined the experience.

nice rooms, every evening the whole hotel and everything around starts to stink of burnt wood and smoke so close your eyes if you have asthma it will be very difficult for you, it is not possible to open the window, the whole room will stink of smoke. I don't know why it is. it's a very bad experience, breakfast was identical all 10 days, I mean 200% the same, nothing has changed, it's hard and not pleasant. you are forced to eat because you are hungry and what you have has long been tired.

The rooms here are so spacious. We had 1 and a half bathrooms (that mean a room with a toilet and bath/shower and ine with just a toilet). The area is so beautiful, the hotel has a mineral bath (i believe it's called that). The food there was great as well as the best service we have had at hotels in Italy. Bravo Bellavista

This is probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the region if not the country, immersed in tranquil surroundings and beautiful views of the hill top castle town. The elegance of the by gone days of the Belle Époque period in Italy are well preserved in the beautiful features of the hotel and the wonderful rooms. I had a fantastic junior suite that came with two balconies offering two great vies. The large windows also had fantastic views. The bed was most comfortable and all items provided from towels to amenities were of the most high quality. The breakfast was exquisite especially when compared to Italian standards and it also comprised of small special unexpected items such as fresh fruit smoothies. The indoor pool too was a place of great relaxation. So was the out door pool in the well kept garden. Whilst such a place definitely must require great care and up keeping, and definitely some things can (or maybe cannot) be adjusted, I cannot point to anything that deserves mention and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting the most charming spa town of Italy. A mention also to the staff who are most professional and non intrusive making this hotel a fine example of exceptional service and glamour.

Hotel Ambrosiano in Montecatini Terme is a charming 4-star accommodation offering a pleasant stay for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel features a bar, restaurant, terrace, and an indoor pool. With its convenient location near the city center and close proximity to Montecatini Terme and Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" Airport, it's an ideal choice for exploring the area.
I Highly recommended this place. Very Nice staff. The Rooms are newly renovated and really nice food in the restaurant. They have an outdoor bar with a Nice atmosphere in the Evening. Im looking forward to come back to this beautiful place😍

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. If it were possible to give - a star, it is all minus 5. Dirty towels, cold, either cold or hot water runs, because there is no pressure it is impossible to regulate the heat. And in the morning when you are hoping for a good breakfast, you will hear a constantly screaming person from the hotel, he ran the whole morning and screamed at the hotel guests what they can take and what they can not. He did it absolutely without any respect, screaming and gesticulating. No one deserves such an attitude. Not to mention the fact that people paid for the hotel services. Think about it if you need this attitude, if you want to spend the night here. There are many other hotels in the area where you will be treated with respect and will provide excellent service for your money. Never again
Ruslan C — Google review
After our two-week trip across Europe, this hotel stands out as the absolute worst experience of the journey. The rooms were incredibly small, dirty, and uncomfortable, with constant noise from outside disrupting any chance of rest. However, the real nightmare began at breakfast. The man managing their meager buffet station was shockingly rude, yelling at guests, berating them, and belittling them openly. Don't sit here, don't sit there, don't use this glass, don't use that mug, etc. Whenever food ran out, he would audibly groan in frustration and loudly complain about how much people were eating, as if providing food was a personal burden. The buffet mainly consisted of bread.. just a lot of bread. They had jam, ham, yogurt, and drinks. Some guests would get egg and hotdogs but not everyone is entitled which also irritated the old man. This is unacceptable behavior, especially considering guests have paid for these services. A proper, plentiful breakfast is the least they deserve to start their day after saving and planning for a vacation. Until this hotel addresses its many issues—starting with respect for its guests—I would strongly advise against staying here. Avoid it at all costs. Additional thoughts after hotel's response: The hotel's response to my review only reinforces their dismissive attitude toward customers, labeling them as "rude customers who do not understand." During our stay, my group was served eggs and hotdogs, but another group seemed to be denied the same. While I understand that different groups may have paid for different packages, how are customers supposed to know this without any clear signs or communication? Instead of addressing the confusion professionally, the hotel chose to label these customers as "rude" for something that wasn’t their fault. A simple sign or clear explanation could have prevented this issue, but instead, management resorted to name-calling and blame-shifting. This pattern is evident in many recent reviews, which highlight poor hospitality management and subpar customer service. Rather than addressing valid concerns, the hotel responds with an accusatory tone, further demonstrating their lack of care for their guests' experiences. This response only underscores how little effort is made to improve, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this management team.

Overall, physically a nice hotel. Clean modern rooms with good amenities, a beautiful garden sitting area. FYI… you have to purchase something from the bar, even if only a water, to sit in the garden area. Internet 50/50… worked 1 day of 2. Service was tenuous at best, curt at times, especially in the dining area and bar. The hotel appears to make a substantial business catering to groups, but the staff comes off as annoyed and unduly burdened. It could be so much better. Update: Educational Trip for teenagers with teacher and parent chaperones. No inquiries or complaints to our group leadership in 2 days regarding the behavior or transgressions you alleged. Your response further emphasizes the point of my review regarding your hotel’s culture and attitude toward its customers.

- 2nd Floor two days ago: Overall three stars - 1st Floor today: Four stars. It seems that the rooms on the first floor of this hotel have undergone repairs and renovations, making them distinct from those on the second floor. The reason for the slightly sour smell in the hotel towels might be due to the detergent? The towels were clean, but it would be nice if at least a small towel could be provided for free, as only one towel is given.

Great hotel. with English-speaking staff. -It's pretty, the rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. - the swimming pool is gorgeous but only open between 10am and 6pm so we did not get to use it. - Wifi everywhere but our entire group had trouble connecting. The next day it was fine. It reached everywhere. Dinner: - Amazing live music (albeit a bit loud so I could not speak to my spouse), good food and presentation. Really nice staff Breakfast: - There was a VIP section that served bacon and eggs (I asked about upgrading, but the guard did not understand me) where someone was stationed to keep the other hotel guests out. They had a nice full english breakfast with bacon and eggs and everything while the other groups had sugary snacks. Everything was sweet. The only savoury option was ham and cheese on toast. Very minimalistic. You get what you pay for I guess. Our agency paid less. Bathroom: the shower door was broken and with cleaning they threw away the soap we were still using, such a waste. At least they replaced it with two bars. Room: - big TV - with AC - mini fridge

The room is old and simple, and the auto door system is new and functioning OK. The toilet is pretty new, but the light went off after certain timing. Room set up is simple, the bed sheet and towels can see a bit ageing. The flooring is parquet laminated, but some area was dirty, and I stepped on some sticky liquid. Hence, I have to clean the floor with tissues.

Hotel Marina is a relaxed hotel located just a short 2-minute stroll from Montecatini Terme town center and 250 meters from the spa center. The hotel offers comfortable air-conditioned rooms, a cozy restaurant, and a bar where guests can unwind. While some guests found the rooms to be basic, they appreciated the complete bathrooms and the option to request additional amenities such as extra pillows from the accommodating staff.
The room is ok, the bathroom is complete, the breakfast is ok but it is more than the hotels of the same stars and price! The breakfast is good enough for what you pay, there is no extra pillow but you only need to ask the staff, the aircon has a limit but could be used without limits if you pay 6 euros extra a day. The location is ok, can be walked from the train station except when raining or when it is too hot. I am recommending the place if you're a backpacker or a family that needs a quick lodging in montecatini

Everything bad about hotel: it smells disgusting, it's not clean at all, rooms are horrible, toilets are disgusting and I used it only when I had to. Food in hotel was disappointing and not good at all. Hotel service were also very rude, especially girl with classes. In the room for three people they didn't even put one toilet paper, we had to go and complain so that we could get one toiler paper. There were not any hot water. And, because our rooms were dirty and disgusting when we got to hotel we didn't clean all the things and they took 10e from us because we left it dirty. That behavior is horrible, we didn't get anything good there and at the end they took more money then they should. My advice, go to any other hotel, this one is not even 1 star rating, it should be -1 or 0.

Decent hotel We were expecting really bad things after reading all the ratings. The food was really nice, though at first the staff was rather rude if one wasn't hungry after a long day (19 hour bus drive). Rooms were okay too, ours was rather small but still livable Yeah, the shower had to be "build" and was really small but that didn't really matter Location was awesome, 10 minutes away from the center by foot Awesome small shops and bars to spend evenings in and the Funicolare was cute too :)
Chantal W — Google review
The rooms are pretty small and old interior. The service is terrible we arrive and had to wait 1:30 hours and no one told us before hand that it would be like this so we were homeless at 37° outside and it was forbidden to wait in a lobby without ac because almost 100 guests arrived at the same time and made everything full with their luggage. The room was a catastrophe. After waiting 1:30 hours for it. It was still dirty the floor dirty. Some weird black stains on the ground. Under the bed. Full of dust and some weird ruber bands on the floor under the bed. The Air Conditioner costs 6€ per night and is forbidden to use on day time. It's criminal at almost 40° in my opinion. The bathroom is very tiny and basically has no ventilation and it feels like a Sauna in there. Then in the shower were hair of the people who were here before us. So also not cleaned. Many stains as well. Some of the interior looks like there are urin spots on it. The food was tbh okay everyday there was noodles with some sauce and the same breskfast but that is okay. The 2 women who work with Vincenzo the owner were also nice but Vincenzo screamed at them before the guests. The night portieur also was a nice friendly guy and the only one who could talk english. In the eating room phones are forbidden because they do not want you to make pictures of the food. And the worst they go into your roam and "steal your personal stuff" we had a multiple charger with us and when we were out and came back it was gone. They took it down to the lobby and didn't gave it back till we check out. He said it's because of electric shortage but I guess he doesn't want to pay that much for electricity which would explain the air conditioner problem. As final words avoid this hotel at any cost.

The bad reviews made me worry. However I didn’t think it was so bad after all. The rooms were clean and apart from a broken toilet flush, everything was kept in a relatively good state. The food was however… quite an adventure. The pasta starter was quite descent but the main was usually unidentifiable, smelled funny and looked like a mess. For vegetarians, they served fish. Most waitresses were very friendly though. What was really annoying is that the owner persists in locking the door at 12 PM. I really don’t believe that this does any good for the hotel itself. It’s far from luxurious and I wouldn’t stay here for two weeks (also because Montecatini isn’t that spectacular) but for shorter trips it’s worth it’s price.
Lasse B — Google review
Poor communication, the owner doesn't know the most used language in the world. You speak to him English and he replies in Italian- catastrophic. He closes the front door after 23.00 o'clock and you can't go out or if you did, there is no way back in, so be careful. Rooms are not good and also not that bad. But there are beds that you can not sleep in. They're broken just like his English. 👋🏻

We had the misfortune to stay in this hotel because the travel agency booked it. The problem is if you hated it during summer, you'll hate it much more in the winter. Central heating exists, but it can't heat the room at all. Travel agency had to step in so owner had to turn on the air conditioning. Even that wasn't enough, but we managed somehow. Showering is a little adventure on itself, because some assembly of the shower room is required.

Very poor breakfast. We've stayed there for 5 days and every single day we had the very same breakfast - one sort of salami, one sort of cheese. I mean, come on! The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its friendly staff (though most of them don't speaker english) and quite good food, especially for breakfast, but other than that it has no good qualities, the area surrounding it is ugly, the rooms are small and with old, often damaged furniture from diffrent sets, the walls were dirty in some places, also since the staff doesnt speak English they didnt understand that we didnt want them to enter our room and clean it ( we were worried about our things, though nothing went missing). It is underserving of the 3 stars it has and was a negativr experience, I will definitely never come back and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is nice in lobby, but soon as you go to room there is a surprise. Sleeping area is nice and comfy. AC (heating) works in most of rooms but there was few where it didn't work. There is free WiFi but you wont get any signal or almost 1 dot. Bathroom is a different story. Small, where you can get your morning routine done, but when you come to shower part nightmare begins. Shower is very small and is impossible to do anything, only if you are small like kid. 3* hotel doesn't have mini bar or small fridge, bad WiFi.

This hotel is disgusting in every single way. I wouldn’t book it even if I don’t have where to stay. Rooms are dirty and beds are broken. Food is disgusting and the utensils have stains on them. The staff is so rude, they don’t know English and will make fun of you in Italian in front of you. The decorations are scary and it looks like a big cult. The shower gel was open and used half way, and they gave us dirty plastic cups. Dresser door fell on me. Horrible hotel. Don’t stay here. Ever. A park bench is a better option than this.

One thing we noticed, however, was that the room we had needed some maintenance. The bathtub had a plastic frame held in place with a wooden wedge, and some pieces in the shower were loose. Let's just say that for the high price of the place, you'd expect something more. No complaints about the staff, however; they were extremely kind and helpful. (Translated by Google) We stayed at the Suite Dreams Hotel Montecatini Terme for a weekend and were really impressed! The property is located in the center, very convenient for reaching all the main attractions of the city on foot. The only flaw is the lack of private parking, but there are several free and many paid parking lots nearby, so it wasn't a big problem. We booked the “One Thousand and One Nights” suite via Smartbox: a truly splendid room, with attention to every detail to recall the theme. The bed was very comfortable, I think I have never slept so well in a hotel, and the pillows were perfect too (we asked for two more and they were provided to us immediately). The rooms are spotless, equipped with courtesy set with shampoo, soap, shower gel and towels. The hot tub is one of the strong points: spacious, with different levels of bubbles and chromatic lights that can be adjusted to create the perfect atmosphere. The exterior of the hotel is also very refined, with elegant green lighting that makes it recognizable even in the evening. The interior is equally refined, and the reception truly welcoming. The girls were very kind, they also recommended an excellent restaurant (La Cascina) via email and for breakfast in the room they made us fill out a questionnaire with our preferences: we especially appreciated the fact that they had lactose-free milk. The only negative note, unfortunately, was the presence of a couple with a very small child who cried and screamed until one in the morning. We didn't think children would be allowed entry, given the type of structure, but evidently it is. We didn't contact the reception because it was late and it was no longer active (only for emergencies), but it seemed like a small discord in an otherwise perfect experience. Overall, a magical stay that we recommend to those looking for a different experience from the usual hotel. We would happily return to try another themed suite!

Hotel Ambrogini is a charming and unassuming property that provides cozy rooms, a restaurant, and a lobby bar. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi during their stay. Renowned for its excellent service and prime location, this hotel is highly regarded by travelers. Situated in the heart of the city, it offers an affordable yet delightful accommodation option for those seeking comfort and convenience.
I stayed in Ambrogini Hotel at the beginning of May (2023) and I felt exactly at home: room and bathroom very clean, perfect services including home-made cakes every morning! The hotel has a perfect position, at less than 2 minutes both from the Big Square and from the railway station (Montecatini Centro) - so I was able to enjoy all Tuscany, by train, în one week.

Clean, comfortable, easy, good value for money. On the opposite side, I found it quite frustrating to not be able to enter the hotel after coming from a late gala dinner, because ... the door was locked. Knocks on the door and calls didn't work, it took me over 20 minutes at 3am to be able to get hold of someone who came to open the door.

(Translated by Google) The structure is managed with extreme kindness towards the customer by the owner who with extreme modesty makes his constant presence available to the guest, also supervising the vehicles parked outside the hotel despite parking being permitted, if I understand correctly, only to residents. Opposite there is a bakery/bakery where you can buy everything you need for a snack. Breakfast is a typical Italian dessert with very few (fortunately) industrial products. The room was not very large but clean and equipped with air conditioning, a television screen and a bathroom with shower equipped with numerous towels. Too bad that the night's sleep was disturbed by nearby music. But it was Saturday night....

(Translated by Google) I stayed in this hotel together with my boyfriend. What can I say... Surprising! We stayed two nights. The owners are very nice, you feel at home and you really feel like a family. They served us an abundant breakfast, with an excellent donut! One thing really struck me: they have several hand sanitizing points. They are present at the entrance, at the top and at the bottom of the corridors leading to the rooms. They even have a special bin for disposing of masks (which I have never found anywhere and which I really appreciated)! I felt very "safe" with the owners respecting all these rules which made me, for a moment, forget that I was in a pandemic.

Dear Luigi and his fantastic crew are very helpful, excellent value for money, rooms always well-kept and comfortable beds. Then the breakfast: like champions. Wide choice of pretzels, cakes and typical Tuscan products, not to mention the fantastic frozen orange juice which was a blast in these days of African heat. And after a nice chat with these very sociable and kind people, I returned home happy to have spent a wonderful holiday in Tuscany. I recommend to EVERYONE! 🤨

Villa Le Fonti is a stunning accommodation in Montecatini Terme, offering breathtaking panoramic views and unique privacy. The beautiful villa features a superb swimming pool and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, free bikes, and a garden. However, access to the villa involves navigating a steep and narrow road up the hill.
Amazing place but the road up the hill i steep and narrow

Nice pool. VERY poorly furnished. Only AC in bedrooms. Terrible layout. Hugely disappointing.

(Translated by Google) Magnificent place with exceptional views, with a very large swimming pool. Unfortunately the equipment leaves something to be desired, yet the announcement was a dream but on site it is disappointing because the refrigerators work very poorly, the mosquito nets are torn and let in all the insects, the swimming pool has turned green (algae?) overnight. next day and in general the water was very cloudy, in summer the heat in the rooms is unbearable, the bikes had all their tires deflated and the brakes out of order (dangerous in this mountainous area), the table football is completely rusty, the fitness trail is impassable because it is not maintained and I had to sleep several nights putting my mattress on the ground because my box spring was twisted (in the shape of a bowl), but the owner came to "repair" my bed by putting a board between the box spring and the mattress. I almost forgot the wardrobes without shelves or very practical hangers for emptying your suitcase. In short, an ad which suggests a high-end villa with a huge disappointment in the end.

Took the family for a Tuscan holiday and stayed here. It was clean and very spacious. Big enough for the 5 of us. Centrally located close to the downtown, a grocery store, and a great little pizzeria.
