Bed & breakfast
Il Battistero Siena - Residenza d'epoca is a refined guesthouse located in the city center, offering warm rooms with terraces and city views. The boutique hotel faces the polychrome marble facade of Siena Cathedral's baptistery and is historically informed, with suites and rooms named after key Sienese figures. The decor blends modern elements like Mutina tiles and Artemide lamps with framed old maps and carved wood headboards.
Friendly staff at reception, very proud of the history of the building. Rooms are clean and charming with a lot of history. Location excellent and excellent views of the duomo in Siena. Good breakfast.
Adrian — Google review
Great location and historical residence for a stay in the heart of the city. Our windows had direct view of the cathedral across the Piazza.
Stuart S — Google review
Stop your search, this is the PERFECT PLACE to stay in Siena. Out the front door is the Duomo, across the square is where you have breakfast and you can taste wine next door to that. The room we stayed in (Santa Caterina) was spotless and had the most gorgeous view. Since you're in the city center, everything is walkable and you'll want to spend every moment in the city center anyway. The staff are WONDERFUL, the best staff we've ever experienced at any hotel. The entire experience was worth every single euro. Look no further, this is the right place to stay in Siena. We'll absolutely be back.
Bobby - — Google review
What's not to love about staying in a historic home, possibly in THE best location of this beautiful city? We had 3 nights in the beautiful Martini Suite (#1) with all views overlooking the piazza and the baptistry/Duomo, and we wished for more nights. Despite being crowded in the day, the piazza was silent at night. One night, we watched a thunderstorm from the room, which was dramatic! The welcome and assistance from Gisella, Rita, and all the team was outstanding. Breakfast is taken in the piazza itself, a little basic perhaps, but everything delivered with a smile. Expect a historic feel, not shiny minimalism, an old house, ready for guests who appreciate a stay to match this citys history. Thank you all. We LOVED our stay.
Abhaig B — Google review
what am amazing place...our view outside our room was the Duomo The location couldn't have been better! The breakfast and the beautiful room where it was served was first class! Andrea brought us our cappuccino every morning..The staff couldn't have been more hospitable. We will go back to this magical town!
Leslie L — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at the wine store. I did not stay at the hotel but had a great experience with Andrea who guided through his wine list and brought me to the tasting room. He was informative, inquisitive and not pushy at all. I ended up buying some Chianti Classico G. S. Some Brunello and some vin santo. Great times!
Joe T — Google review
This wine shop was just perfect! From the moment you walked in you felt like home and the manager was so sweet and nice. The wines were excellent and the customer service was excellent. From sitting in a tunnel where the pope would pass through to ordering and shipping wine back to the states was all great service. Very knowledgeable and would definitely go back again. We also got to meet Giovanni who was the olive oil maker and he even signed our bottles we bought! Would 100% recommend this place and so glad we just randomly stumbled upon it.
Lauren G — Google review
My daughter and I did a wine tasting. It was fascinating sitting in the old Roman aqueduct, now a wine cellar. Rita was our guide. She spent a lot of time explaining the wines, and helping us all to enjoy them better. The wines were great, as was Rita. Fabulous experience. If you are looking to create great memories, here’s a great place to spend an hour.

Hotel Garden Siena is an elegant accommodation set on 18th-century grounds, offering a picturesque setting to admire enchanting panoramas in Siena. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast on the panoramic terrace during spring and summer months. The hotel also features an American Bar for relaxation and socializing.
Excellent swimming pool with good depth range. Fantastic bar snacks and helpful staff and best of all was the evening dining experience. Attentive reception staff were able to advise with tourism plans and transport to get the most out of the stay & Siena. Thank you for making Tuscany special!
Hs M — Google review
This hotel is great. It's about 20 minutes from Siena centre. It has a bus stop just outside the hotel entrance. The food is really good, with the restaurant on a terrace. The hotel is quite old fashioned which is in keeping with the town. It is clean and the staff are really friendly. I would definitely come and stay here again.
Jonathan T — Google review
I would not give them even zero star, the water was always cold, I could not take a shower. The sink doesn’t discharge the water for both sink and shower box. The breakfast was not fresh at all. I think these are the reasons they ask money in advance so you can not complain afterwards👎👎👎
Sharare A — Google review
We have stayed here every trip now for many years. It is a truly beautiful sanctuary with great staff, wonderful pool, and good food including a huge breakfast buffet. We understand it will be changing ownership so to the owner: thank you for years of joy! To the new owners: what they’ve been doing works! We look forward to continuing our patronage.
Ken R — Google review
The hotel is really nice. The location is good with a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Unfortunately it takes about 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to downtown. The room is clean, not very big but it has all the essential. The bathroom is very clean but it should be renovated. Breakfast gas good in the stunning terrace of the hotel. It has a great selection of pastry, cakes, cold cuts and eggs. Parking is included.
Andrea S — Google review
My husband and I have now stayed at Hotel Garden Siena a couple of times, first earlier this year, and then during our wedding period in August 2023. We had our wedding in Florence but hosted our welcome dinner for wedding guests at Hotel Garden Siena, and had many of our guests staying there throughout our wedding period. Gianluigi and his team were absolutely phenomenal, and went above and beyond to make our stay and the stay of our guests perfect. The welcome dinner in the downstairs space was stunning, the staff were amazing and the food was so good. The views from the hotel are wonderful and the rooms make for a very comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, strong water pressure, and a lovely breakfast. There was plenty of parking and it's really easy to get into Siena from the hotel. We are so so grateful for the whole team, and want to thank them and Gianluigi for making our wedding period so special.
Rebecca O — Google review
The service was great and the location was greater since the bus stop was right at the door of the hotel. It was very easy to go to the old town either walking or taking the bus. The staff were great, especially Rosaria. She spent 45 minutes in the first day of our arrival to provide all information we needed as a new tourist in town. In addition, she suggested one of the most memorable private tours of Tuscany that we ever could imagine. She was one of the best hotel receptionists that I have ever seen.
Fabian F — Google review
Location was fantastic for us, tho a 30 min walk to centre of old town. Room was terrific, tho was a premium room. Breakfast great, bar and terraces great, gardens and surrounds fantastic. And was quiet, for us anyway. Car park huge. For 3 nights we really enjoyed it.

(Translated by Google) Spacious and clean rooms. The mattress on the bed wasn't at all comfortable, unlike the sofa bed, which we slept on comfortably. The rooms are spacious and have a beautiful view. The private parking on the property was much appreciated. Some details could be updated and given more attention (missing hooks and shelves in the bathroom, worn shower tray, stained curtains). Overall, a good stay. (Original) Camere spaziose e pulite.

Hotel Athena in Siena is a classic hotel offering informal rooms with free Wi-Fi, a cozy Tuscan restaurant, and a breezy terrace. Situated just 850 meters from Il Campo, this 4-star hotel provides air-conditioned rooms within a short walk of the medieval bricked square 'Piazza del Campo'. The property offers dry cleaning service, housekeeping, and shoe shine service along with facilities like a xerox and business center.
I wish we could give 10 stars for Hotel Athena, they were exceptional! We used Hotel Athena for our entire wedding party and they were fantastic. Amazing service and hospitality with attentive, friendly, and helpful staff! The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop bar and restaurant were all amazing. We want to say a special thank you to Martina, Matteo, and Davide for going above and beyond for us and our guests! We will certainly be back!! THANK YOU!!!

Not suggest stay in this hotel. The front desk staff at this hotel were extremely poor! They were arrogant, rude, and never smiled. They showed no respect and treated guests unfairly. We arrived at the hotel and parked in the first parking lot. There were plenty of spaces available, and there were three vacant spaces in the second parking lot. 1. Front desk clerk Daniel was extremely rude. He claimed our car might block other guests' parking, even though there were at least seven vacant spaces available. His unreasonable claim was unfounded. He then pointed out that we were parking outside the hotel, not in the hotel parking lot. I paid for my stay, which included parking on site, but the front desk staff didn't provide us with a suitable, secure parking space. This was extremely infuriating. Finally, we met a kind hotel staff member who allowed us to park in the first parking lot. 2. Daniel, the front desk clerk, ordered us to park our cars within four minutes after delivering our luggage to our rooms. Why did you limit me to four minutes? It's completely unreasonable and disrespectful to guests. The hotel has no control over their staff, which is extremely disrespectful to guests. Even the general manager didn't care about this matter and didn't apologize. This hotel has serious problems. 3. The hotel has seven vacant parking spaces, but they didn't allow us to park. This is unfair! Why can other guests park, but we can't?
Jason K — Google review
I’ve been to Athena multiple times (2022,2023 and 2025) and while I always book it, I can’t say I’m excited to be back ever time. The first two times I felt the treatment of the guest and the rooms were better, there seems to have been a downgrade since 2023 (in room lotion/toiletries/towels etc) . The location is perfect for exploring the city, but that’s about it. The rooms are basic, price standards and amenities minimal. We stay here because we love the location and know we will be in town the whole time. I wouldn’t book this for a long stay or romantic holiday. But great for a night into Siena.
Sophia M — Google review
Absolutely loved staying here. Everything was perfect. A big shout out to the staff. Without exception every person was polite, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant served delicious food, both for breakfast and dinner. Robert and his crew were very attentive and understanding. Siena is a delight and staying in such a comfortable and stylish hotel made the experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
Leo F — Google review
Rooms are quite small. The breakfast is crowded. Plus points for being clean, and the staff is very attentive. I think that, for the price, I would look for lodging that is a bit closer to the downtown. Another positive is the free parking, but even that is extremely competitive.
John K — Google review
I decided to stay over on Siena for a night on a whim. Looking around for hotels near the center of the old quarter I found the Athena. The hotel is in a great location, only a ten minute walk to the Piazza del Campo. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are great. The rooftop terrace with the bar has one of the best views of any hotel in town. My single night there I ate at the hotel restaurant, out of convenience, and it was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff for the restaurant were also very polite and accommodating. Overall, this is definitely one of the best hotels in and around Siena.
Holden S — Google review
An excellent and affordable hotel, conveniently located for central Siena with the bonus of car parking so you can use it as a touring base. The staff are, without exception, helpful and friendly. The only minor - and it is minor gripe - is that the baths could be a bit more non-slip as i nearly fell one morning. Highly recommended.
John Q — Google review
Delightful and super helpful staff - they really made our stay. The hotel is five minutes from the central part of Siena but away from the crowds. Great breakfasts and a lovely terrace for evening drinks and the sunset. Rooms could have more character but they're clean and functional so all good. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Minerva in Siena is a 3-star property located within a short walk from the medieval 'Piazza del Campo' and other attractions like Duomo di Siena Cathedral and San Cristoforo Roman Catholic Church. The hotel offers 56 simply furnished rooms with city views, combining modern design with traditional hospitality. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast on the terrace overlooking the picturesque rooftops of Siena.
Loved my room at this hotel. It’s not in or next to the city center so about 1.8km walk to get to it - which is not that bad. It is close to the train station - also about 1.8 km walk but uphill if you are coming from the station. Rooms clean and nice. My room faces the city and had a fantastic view. Dreamt desk were friendly and helpful.
Chris P — Google review
Friendly staff, good quality for the price of the rooms. The breakfast had multiple choices and good coffee. The location is good, reaching the top attractions within 10 min walking. The view from the hotel is really good.
Igor M — Google review
We had an excellent stay at Hotel Minerva in Siena. The rooms were very clean and the staff were so helpful. The location is perfectly situated between the train station and the main Piazza. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the eating area was quite large. Our bed was slightly uncomfortable but that doesn't take away from the fact that we would still give this hotel a 5 star review. The prices were reasonable and the staff went above and beyond. We would stay here again.
Shauna D — Google review
This is a great, no-frills 3-star hotel in an excellent location. The rooms were simple but very clean, which I really appreciated. The hotel offers affordable parking options, making it convenient for travelers with a car. The breakfast was basic but sufficient, though the noise level in the breakfast area was a bit high at times. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay without breaking the bank, this hotel is a great option.
Martin S — Google review
Great location, good breakfast, wonderful view. Quiet area at night. When the staff found out that my friend is vegetarian, they tried to make a plan for the next day's breakfast, but there are a lot of food options already.

Matt S — Google review
Location is great for those with cars who want to be a little out of the hoards of tourists. Rooms are very small and sparse and we did not have a balcony. Beds are comfortable but only give one pillow per side. Some people in our group had issues with their air conditioner not working well, ours did not work well either. Breakfast is satisfying and lobby is a nice big space to hang out waiting for people or before going to bed.

Sangallo Park Hotel is a charming accommodation located in Siena, offering a serene setting with convenient access to local attractions. The hotel features an outdoor pool, sunbathing terrace, and gazebo for guests to enjoy. With complimentary amenities such as breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi, the hotel provides a comfortable stay. The rooms are bright and welcoming with wooden floors and air conditioning. Its hilltop location offers panoramic views of Siena and the Tuscan countryside.
A modern hotel with everything you might need. Decent breakfast options. Great and helpful staff. Rather bad location. We picked this because we wanted to explore the towns outside of Siena.
Andrei I — Google review
Although the hotel advertises its pool and lawn, the front desk evening staff did not allow us to use any of these outdoor amenities, they even use locks to keep guests from using the lawn with the view. Despite sunny weather and a temperature of 16C, the 2 front desk workers said the pool was too cold for anyone to want to use it, despite many guests admiring the pool and taking pictures behind the gate. Additionally, the pool appeared fully operational and uncovered, indicating suitable conditions for swimming and it was clearly running and maintained. Moreover, access to the advertised gazebo with the vistas and outdoor space by the pool was ALSO denied, further limiting our experience to the 4 walls of our hotel room. Our decision to book this hotel was primarily influenced by the desire to relax by the pool while enjoying the vineyard view, leading us to upgrade our room accordingly with views of the vineyards and pool. The inconvenience of the distant location without the use of the amenities we paid for and were promised, made me DEEPLY regret booking this hotel in late April. We would have 100% preferred a closer hotel to town had we known the staff would be so unreasonable about the use of all outdoor spaces. On a positive note, the breakfast provided was satisfactory. And the staff that took care of the breakfast was very kind and helpful.
Monique W — Google review
The pool is great! Excellent price for value. Unlike my expectations it was quite a comfortable hotel, with a very high quality service. Views are stunning and the location is great for being near Siena.
MaNush Y — Google review
Good place just outside Siena. Rooms were good, but no iron was available. Customer service was great and professional. Both reception and f&b attendants were lovely. Advice: If you offer fruits for breakfast, please ensure they are edible. Kiwis and bananas were not ripe.
Ema D — Google review
Standard 3 Star Hotel. The stuffs are in general nice except one of the receptions (a lady) was not friendly. No nearby restaurant and the hotel restaurant is not operated in the evening. Room is clean. No coffee, water, kettle provided but you can make an order from the bar.
JD — Google review
We stayed here for a night while visiting Siena. Excellent quiet location just outside the city with a very convenient car park. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast has a lot of variety and is of very good quality.
Joseph K — Google review
Amazing hotel in Tuscany, close to Siena and train station for day trips, also has plenty of free parking at hotel. The pool and garden are both incredible, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is fantastic too. The room and bathroom are bigger than a lot of Italian hotels, the bathroom also had a full size bath tub which is rare, the bed was very comfortable and the room is quiet. Overall great hotel that had everything I was looking for during my 2 night stay.
Zach A — Google review
Exceptionally comfortable hotel in every way and the staff are absolutely fantastic. (They saved us big time when we needed help.) It's in a quiet residential neighborhood uphill from the city center. We preferred to walk to and from town but probably most people would drive a few minutes or get a short ride in a taxi. There's a lovely view and an outdoor pool. Good breakfast. Very clean and quiet. Everything was great!

Restaurant
Hotel Moderno in Siena is a relaxed property that offers functional rooms and a casual restaurant. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the medieval bricked square 'Piazza del Campo' and the Ovile Gate. The hotel exudes an old grandeur that adds to its charm, despite its faded glory. The location is ideal for exploring Siena, as it is just a short walk from the historic center and provides easy access to the city via escalators.
Very good place to stay specially for large groups. Solo and couple travelers are also invited to make their best experience with hotel Moderno. It very near to Siena city. Easy access for Duomo di Siena and historical destinations of Siena city. They have special restaurant menu for groups.
Sadeep J — Google review
The location is undoubtedly convenient, but unfortunately, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. The rooms are in dire need of renovation, with outdated furnishings and maintenance issues. Housekeeping in the morning is minimal at best, as they only pull up the sheets rather than properly making the beds. The TV in the room is shockingly small—smaller than most computer monitors—and nearly impossible to watch comfortably from the bed. Breakfast was equally disappointing: the croissants were burnt, the fruit was canned, and much of the selection seemed to consist of pre-packaged, shop-bought items. Even the fruit juices from the machine tasted artificial and off. While the location might attract visitors, the overall quality of the accommodation and services leaves much room for improvement. I would not recommend this place unless significant updates are made.
The R — Google review
Small but perfectly formed rooms. Faded glory best describes the hotel as it has an air of old grandeur adds to its charm. Location is perfect for visiting Siena as it is 20m from the escalators up to the city and has parking available. A hearty breakfast was included.
John F — Google review
Good hotel to stay at while in Siena, as it is just outside the walls and is just across from the escalator that leads all the way up to Siena' majestic historical centre. The escalator just across the street is truly a thing of extreme convenience and makes it all very enjoyable. The staff is very kind and helpful and on-site parking for €7 a day is a great feature. The rooms are nice and comfortable with a fridge that you plug in if you need it and all is very clean. Bathrooms are large and very clean with large built-in showers. The showers, however, do tend to flood the bathroom and staff is aware of this. They do not have any of those cloth shower mats in the rooms, so you may want to ask for a couple more towels. Breakfast was good and rich in offer, although they do not offer a proper bar service, but coffees and cappuccino are served by an automatic machine, of which there is only one and there is usually a line, so I think the Manager should address that. Price could be a little less for a 3-Star venue in my opinion, but Siena seems to be more expensive than other places around Tuscany.
GlobalMente B — Google review
The room was the worst part of this hotel. Upon entry the toilet had already been urinated in. The bathroom was slightly dated, and water began to leak from the shower as soon as it was used. The air conditioning did not work at all in the room. The best feature of this hotel is its location close to the escalators for accessing the centre of town.
Michael — Google review
Right next to escalator (automatic stairs) heading to old town which seems to be the biggest advantage. The hotel has it's own parking free of charge for customers. Rooms are not too good but beds are very comfortable which makes it even. The only thing that could improve is breakfast. Very limited range of meals. Staff can bring a warm meal, like scrambled eggs, when asked, but not always and not to everyone... Looks a bit like they favour ones above others. Also, sometimes they seem to not notice when called.
Ivey B — Google review
Great location on the outskirts of Siena with the town centre only a few minutes walk away. Although the rooms could do with updating, they were clean and well presented and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
Mark R — Google review
the hotel is superbly located as the free escalator which is a stone's throw away from the hotel entrance will bring you right into the historic city center. it also has a cheap parking which is a great value (impossible to park otherwise). the room had a somewhat dated feeling but the advantages far outweighed this impression.

Nestled in the heart of Siena, Il Chiostro del Carmine is a beautifully restored hotel that offers guests a unique blend of history and comfort. Originally a 14th-century convent, this enchanting accommodation boasts colorful and spacious rooms that reflect its rich heritage. Visitors are drawn not only to the cozy interiors but also to the stunning cloisters and serene gardens that provide an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city.
A wonderful stay in a reconditioned cloister. A quick step from the city centre with an spectacular view. It has a inner courtyard which makes it even better. The rooms are quite comfortable, big beds/ air con working perfectly. The breakfast is a buffet style, and in our opinion has everything you need to start the day. There’s is indeed no elevator, but is only a two story building, and it has assisted machine for low mobility guests. Price is very fair for a beautiful accommodation like this.

Completely misleading photos of the place when I booked compare to reality, the pits. The excuse for every problem is that the place was a former convent. I’ve seen other convents becoming beautiful hotels and this one is not the case. Old and tired needs a different operator to give it a lift. If you are over 60 years old, do not stay here, there is no lift moreover when you take the stairs up they have a sliding pendency down, extremely difficult to go upstairs. They say there is a porter for your bags we stayed 2 nights and saw no one. Reception never picks up the phone had to do up and down several times. The room we had was very small and had drummy tiles not too consider the size of the shower being built exclusively for very skinny people. Never stay here again not even for free.

The IL Chiostro del Carmine hotel is a historically significant attraction, dating back to the 14th century. While it has undergone renovations, the original bricks have been meticulously preserved. Our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff, particularly Natalia, Cherif, Lucia, and Elena, demonstrated exceptional service, exceeding our expectations with their friendliness and helpfulness. We also appreciated the breakfast staff, Frahi and Alejandra, who provided a delightful breakfast buffet with numerous options. Our three-night stay was comfortable and welcoming, thanks to the staff's outstanding service. The hotel's courtyard was lovely, offering ample seating. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone. As a group of 10 Australians and 5 Americans from Seattle, we felt right at home. Thank you again for the exceptional service.

We had nothing but a good experience at the hotel. Transparently after reading many less positive comments we nearly cancelled our stay, but I am so glad we didn’t. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were very accommodating. The room was lovely with a little private terrace. Dated, but still charming. And bathroom was clean. The parking is clear if you follow the very detailed instructions on their website and in the hotel (which we made an effort to do before arriving). We didn’t eat in the hotel but the breakfast looked sufficient. This is a great hotel for a city break.

Very authentic, nice hotel in a 14th century monastery. Nice staff, clean room, air conditioning works, thick walls and it wasn't hot at the end of June, great location, everything is great)

We stayed here one night on our way through Tuscany. Our room had a patio which was so fun and beautiful. The room was as expected. We did have to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs which was not a problem for us. If you have a car, call ahead and they will get you access to the ZTL zone. The evening staff person we encountered when we checked in was not very friendly, but the morning staff person was very nice! Would stay again.

Nice hotel in the inner city. We had a big room with an excellent view. Very friendly staff. Hotel parking available around the corner, but not for big SUVs. But perfect for our small rental car.

This place has been the worst service of my time in Italy. The front desk lady Lucia refused to help me with anything. I bought insurance with my one night reservation and when I became ill and did not travel to sienna I canceled my reservation. They kept my money. I called Lucia up and she refused to help me, understand me, or listen to me. Nightmare

Hotel Palazzo di Valli is a charming accommodation located in Siena's historical district, offering a unique stay in a restored 18th-century villa. The hotel boasts antique-style decor, a rooftop terrace with stunning views, and a garden for guests to enjoy. With 11 spacious rooms decorated in classic Tuscan style, it caters to couples, families, and groups of friends.
Spent 2 weeks in Italy, 2 nights of which were in Siena. This was easily our favorite stay. From the moment we met Giacomo, he made us instantly feel at home. He took his time to orient us to the history of Siena as well as the property itself. As for the room, it was well kept with all necessities as expected, including a large comfortable bed. Because the property is outside the Siena walls, it is a little bit of a walk to the city center (~20 minutes), however this is what we were looking for in order to appreciate the Tuscan hillside. The views from the property exceeded our expectations and were absolutely stunning. The breakfast and cappuccino were well curated, with employees being very attentive and welcoming to the guests. This is easily a location we will return to when we visit Siena next.

We can highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Tuscany - we enjoyed every second of our 4-day stay and Giacomo and Lorenzo are truly amazing host... they make you feel at home from the first minute you walk into the hotel. We will be back!!

A Tuscan Dream at Palazzo di Valli Nestled just minutes from the historic center of Siena, Palazzo di Valli is an unforgettable gem that perfectly blends old-world charm with warm Italian hospitality. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished with antiques that reflect the building’s rich history. Our room had high ceilings, traditional tiled floors, and a view that looked like a postcard. What truly sets Palazzo di Valli apart is the service. The hosts are welcoming and go above and make you feel at home, offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants and tipps for Siena. Breakfast is served on the terrace, where you can savor fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee while soaking in the peaceful landscape. Whether you’re exploring Siena’s medieval streets or simply relaxing in the gardens with a cup of coffee, Palazzo di Valli offers a stay that is both serene and inspiring.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the pleasure of spending two nights here as planned, as we had booked the wrong date due to an error in the booking system. Although the policy did not allow for free cancellation and it was our mistake, the hotel was kind enough to cancel our booking free of charge. Giacomo was very friendly and helpful and even offered us alternative dates, which we unfortunately couldn't take up. If we ever come back to Siena, we will definitely book here again!

We were passing through Siena for a day and stayed in this hotel. The hotel has a very nice charm, beautiful rooms and an incredibly beautiful view of Tuscany from the terrace, which is really quiet and perfect to enjoy. The breakfast was balanced and included in the price of the rooms, the price of the rooms was also good, value for money! Parking was also available, but the best part of the stay was the two colleagues at reception. Two real Italians, very friendly, fluent in English and extremely cultured and very helpful. At this point we can only say thank you for the extremely good service and next time we will stay longer, you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. Thank you very much.

Visited for one night in June 2025 at start week's holiday from our home in nearby Emilia. Lovely location just outside the dreaded ZTL. Very peaceful, beautiful views all around, excellent guest communication from Giacomo, one the owners, on the morning of departure, after a well managed and complete breakfast service. Definitely worth a return visit and to be recommended. A few elements probably made me not include that top star. Pricey, but this is Siena. Reception up an outside entrance stair which also has to be used to gain entry in the evening together with entry code when reception is closed and to facilitate the opening of the downstairs door in the evening, even though a ground floor room is what we had expected due to a recent knee operation. Fortunately reception was able to change our room, after contacting the owners, to ground floor although I had expected our type of room to be all ground floor as specified on the website. If guests have stair restrictions this could be a big problem. The room was really very small but adequate and the bed was rather uncomfortable for me with no topper but I am still recovering so the bed may be fine for others although my husband also found it lacking and a bit short. Disturbance from upstairs and early showering etc from around 0630 was a nuisance The bar is very limited with very few choices, Aperol Spritz but no Campari, my favourite. Whilst there are some seats under the shade of trees in the grounds a little table would be helpful also, rather than a tray on the ground. The outside terrace is well furnished but was in full sun at our time of visit. The biggest problem was the entrance gate off the main road. We followed, incorrectly, computer instructions and ended up going along a road pararell to the hotel, with no entrance obviously. We had to turn on this narrow road and then try to make a very tight turn into the gates of the hotel which my husband ended up dunting and scraping our car's bumper. Repair still to be done which won't be cheap. Caviat everyone if you've got a hire car! Even both taxi drivers that evening made issue about the gate and both had to park their mirrors. It is not just by coincidence that there is a garage repair business just to the left of the gates. They probaby do good business from these gates? We did however enjoy our stay and would recommend booking especially as there is parking for around 8-10 cars if drivers park considerately notwithstanding the entrance gate.

We had the best stay at Palazzo di Valli! We had beautiful views, incredible breakfast on the terrace and service, and the most kind staff. I would’ve been content with the trip to Siena even if we never left the hotel to go into town, it was so peaceful and beautiful there. To go into town, there are two bus stops within a 3 min walk of the hotel and they take you right up into town for approximately 1.50 euros (use Google maps for the schedule and you can just use any form of contactless payment from your phone/card to pay - super easy!) Highly recommend staying here to anyone and we sincerely hope to come back to stay here again one day. Thank you so much!
Ellie M — Google review
The reception by Lorenzo was very friendly and his recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were very helpful. We also liked the good location of the hotel with the beautiful view of the Tuscan landscape. We were pleased with the selection and quality of the breakfast buffet. We were slightly disappointed by the rather dark room right next to the parking lot. Next time I would make sure we get a better-located room. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about.

A fantastic stay with incredibly friendly staff. An excellent location and the breakfast was superb each morning. Parking was really easy. It's away from the hotel but with the card you can come and go from the parking lot as you wish.

Well worth its stars! The building is spectacular and located near everything in the old city, but the staff were just the friendliest and most helpful. They made the stay so memorable and made you feel like family. Everyone, but Federica and especially Ilaria were so helpful and taking care of our every request brilliantly. Not to mention the breakfast spread down in the lobby with literally the best cappuccino in Siena, already miss it. We will be back the next time!

Kind of want to keep this place a secret so that I can get a room here every time I visit Siena. The hotel staff and the building itself are remarkable. Very helpful and very historic place to stay. The art is fun and interesting and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family who visit. Will definitely be back and won’t visit the city unless they have a room for me at this hotel.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel, super clean and beautifully located. The staff are perfect in every respect making sure we are comfortable and well looked after. They are courteous, respectful and very smart. Every night, after a day of site-seeing and activities, it was like coming home. We loved every aspect of the old charm of the Palazzetto. The bath/shower was a bit difficult to step into, but after a few sessions, this too became easy . We will come back to this place to stay, when next in Siena. Grazie a tutti.

This place offers 5 Star service. The staff go above and beyond at every occasion. Treat their clients wonderfully. Always helpful. Claudio even prepared a curated list of sites to visit. Place was spotless and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was sumptuous. Tons of fresh local fare. Will be returning.

The hotel is amazing, it's a 14th century Palace which has been modernized to 21st century standards without sacrificing any of its incredible past. Each room is unique and has its own artful design features. The staff was warm and wonderful and were very helpful in maximizing a too short stay. Breakfasts were a delight. The location was in the heart of old Siena just a couple of blocks from the Piazza Del Campo, the Duomo as well as fantastic shops and restaurants. While there is no parking at the hotel they do make available a parking pass to a convenient lot outside the city walls. The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer. One tip: We booked the room on a travel site which was fine but found out we'd get a better deal and have more control over room selection by booking directly from the hotel's site.

A beautiful boutique hotel set in a former palace. The interior decor is modern art, contrasting with, yet complementing, the stone walls and original features. Room #6 is large with a very high ceiling. The adjoining door to Room #5 is an issue if you have noisy neighbours (which thankfully only occurred on one night), and I would have preferred a walk-in shower, but these were minor distractions. The hotel is in a fantastic location and all of the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.

Villa Scacciapensieri is a charming 19th-century villa located just 4km from the heart of Siena. Surrounded by formal gardens and olive groves, it offers a casual yet elegant stay with its comfortable rooms, outdoor pool, and tennis courts.
A beautiful and quiet setting makes this a great get-away during an extended trip to Italy. We stayed 4 nights in total. Service was very friendly. Rooms had a wonderful old timey look and feel. The outdoor pool and views were the real highlights. The food was decent, maybe a little too expensive for the quality. The location is not great if you want to be close to Siena city centre.

All in all people stay here to be away from the noise of the city and get the ultimate Tuscan experience. My biggest complaint was the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was great and on point with other hotels in the 4 star range. We stayed here for our honeymoon and they did not greet us and say congratulations - which every other hotel during our stays in Italy have and I know they knew it was our “special occasion” sooooo just keep in mind you won’t be getting super “special” treatment here but the property is gorgeous! You do have to take the bus or taxi into town which was fine. We were here during their horse race tradition which was pretty cool to see.
Kaitlyn M — Google review
We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. While the staff were genuinely kind and polite, they were unable to take any initiative without first consulting the manager or owner.** The management seemed to prioritize profit over guest satisfaction. For example, when we asked to borrow a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine we had purchased during our trip to Tuscany, we were informed that there would be a charge, simply because the wine was not bought from the hotel.** Due to the overall disappointing experience, we decided to check out one day earlier than planned. When we notified the hotel, we were told that no refund was possible — a response that lacked both flexibility and understanding. The property itself is beautiful and located in a wonderful area, but unfortunately, it suffers from poor management. We would not recommend staying here, especially given the many better alternatives nearby

This beautiful villa is located outside of Siena with stunning views over the city and the countryside. We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. It was calm and relaxed, and very enjoyable. The staff is friendly and kind. The pool was an oasis in the summer heat and it was never crowded or noisy. Everything was so beautiful. The only downside when you stay for so long is that there were very few changes in the dinner menu, and the breakfast was the same every single day.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location near to Siena. The gardens are lovely with lots of outdoor seating areas. Staff are very helpful and the meals we had in the restaurant and bar were good. The church which is part of the hotel is still used by the local community. Our accommodation included a sitting room, dressing room, bathroom and spacious bedroom. There was interesting art and other artefacts in the public spaces.

This hotel is absolutely first class. Starting with the warm welcome from the staff, who conducted check in formalities whilst we sat in the stunning gardens enjoying a drink. The property is drenched in history whilst having all mod cons - the twin world’s of a Tuscan monastery now lovingly restored into a beautifully designed hotel combine seamlessly to immerse you completely. The kitchen produces absolutely knock out dishes, the passion for the best Tuscany has to offer evident in every option; with fantastic cocktails and wine pairings aplenty. The heart of Siena is but an 8 minute drive away and the hotel offers a shuttle service. Explore the palaces, cathedral, ancient sites and restaurants at your own pace before being collected and returned to the hotel where you will find a truly tranquil escape from the city. But it is the staff who deserve the highest praise. Their love of the hotel, its place in the world and how it is part of the local community shine through in every interaction. They are warm, knowledgeable, helpful and care deeply that guests have a truly memorable stay here. If this hotel is the local crown, the staff are the diamonds within it. You must stay here; it’s the best hotel in or near Siena by a country mile.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues with our bills: our first meal at the restaurant we were charged for 2 wines we did not order but they corrected it after I said something. Then when we checked out there was an extra 148€ restaurant bill that was not ours that had been charged to our room. Would not have noticed we got charged someone else’s meal if I had not gone through each receipt. After I pointed it out they paid me back the money in cash. Also, some indication of how much the laundry service cost would have been nice. When we checked out we had to pay much more than we expected for laundry. The outdoor sitting areas under the magnolia tree/by the fire pit are nice but considered the restaurant so you cannot sit there unless you order drinks from the bar - we tried having a sunset picnic with our own food and were not allowed. We liked relaxing by the pool and the breakfast was very good! A taxi back at night from Siena was only 12€. The S27 bus was also very easy to go to and from Siena.

The facilities were beautiful. We especially enjoyed playing cards in the game room each night with a glass of wine, sitting by the fire enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and laying out and relaxing on the daybeds after a day in Siena. The staff was also AMAZING and extremely attentive, especially Michelle suggested an amazing winery and cheese farm for us to visit out in the countryside. The location is also PERFECT. Super close to Siena, which makes it perfect to head in for a day trip or even for dinner one night. One highlight of our final night was the live jazz music at the hotel, which truly was the perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful stay.

No air-conditioning and a ceiling fan with only one speed, not good in the middle of August. Breakfast is just horrible, milk and juice was warm, package pastries tasted awful and coffee was not up to Italian standards. Very central location, all car parking is at least 15-30 minutes walk away although they do give you a discount on the parking from reception.

The Location of the Hotel is great! It’s perfect to easily get around the hotel. Price wise it was very cheap however the rooms were really not that good either :(. The bathroom door was open on the bottom which is very uncomfortable as it sounds like there is no door at all. There’s also no elevator and the air in the room is quite bad. However the reception was very friendly and gave us recommendations and to stay for one night it was fine!

They told me where to park my car. It is a public parking lot with free parking. " Can I park here all day everyday all week?" I asked. " Yes you can" they said. My car was towed away because the parking lot is under construction. It was only with amazing luck that there was a police car right there, who could tell me where to go in order to solve the situation. It's the hotel's job to know this stuff. Luckily my colleague was staying a couple extra days. Otherwise I would have missed my flight.

The hotel receptionist had a very bad attitude. He was kind, polite and enthusiastic to the "white man" before us, and also helped him place his belongings. But when it was our turn, we said hello and Italian to him but he didn’t respond, and had a bad and rude attitude.

The location is very good since it is in the center. You have to walk to the train station. However, walking in Siena is already very enjoyable. Staff communication is good. I couldn't understand the situation we had regarding the room. There was a very interesting smell that I couldn't understand. I couldn't tell if it was caused by the previous guest or if it was a chronic smell.

Overall, a classical hotel in the old town. The location is perfect - few minutes walk from Piazza del Campo, also numerous cafés, shops and everything is in walking distance. The room size was all okay, bathroom also had everything needed. Nice staff, 0-24 open reception. I recommend this place, good price value with unbeatable location. Although in general I liked the place and I recommend, some issues, based on the other reviews long term issues makes it ok for a night but for me wouldn't for more. 1) the Wi-Fi is really really slow in the room. Near reception it's ok, but in the room either disconnecting or the weakest slowest possible. Not cool in 2024. 2) there is no socket near the bed, only the other side of the room. Even an extension would help a lot, this way un comfortable. 3) for my taste the pillows were really poor and the mattrace also not my taste.

Nice hotel in perfect location, just few steps from main square. Room was decent enough, quite spacious, same bathroom with big window. Everything is old but rather clean. Breakfast is rally poor with disgusting instant coffee. I always thought it's impossible to drink bad coffee in Italy, but seems it is. Still I can recommend this place.

I stayed at the Hotel Santa Catarina in Siena on August 12 during an almost 5000 km endurance bicycle race from the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea. As such, I had some special needs and was very tired. The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic. We also stayed here in 2017 and the hotel was great then. The staff were excellent, the hotel was very comfortable, and the location is perfect with access to the old city. I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

What a beautiful hotel! The view over the countryside is jaw dropping. The room was ok, older which matched the vibe of the building but it was not very comfortable. The bedding was dated and the pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit cheese and bread. The service was great, they have on site parking and everyone was very nice. Overall the view sells this place and just that is worth the stay Overall the view alone

Lorenza, the proprietor and her staff were superb! Lorenza was instrumental in helping secure reservations to some excellent osterias and trattorias. She was professional, pleasant and very helpful. Her three concierges were very professional and full of info. Location of the hotel, one block outside of Siena city's Porta Roma was very convenient. A beautiful garden patio looking out to the Tuscan countryside for breakfast was postcard perfect! Gracie mille, Lorenza!

Very beautiful hotel, would definitely recommend. The staff was very friendly. We got quite a large room with an amazing view. It is very close to the city centre (walking distance). The shower was great (was able to get really hot). Breakfast was good. The window doesn't let any light through when you close it, so it's nice and dark when you go sleeping. Only negative I could find was that you could hear the flushing of the toilet in the hotel room next to you really well.

We were passing through, a very pleasant hotel, and, I would even say romantic, we only spent one night there. We will return without hesitation 😊

The hotel is old, blankets & towels were not fresh. Bathroom shower very small, the tape for the shower about to die. The breakfast were accepted. The front desk were very helpful and tried to do their best.
Abdullah A — Google review
Little noisy, little old. The staff is amazing, and the price is very reasonable. Comfy beds.
Lajos S — Google review
Absolutely top notch service! Contacted us beforehand on when we’ll be arriving and made sure everything worked out well. Staff took extra effort to help us with busses to the city. Highly recommend! Huge props to the staff
Joni O — Google review
Fine place to spend the night, quite noisy as it's located on the main road. Towels were just like regular sheets and not made from towel fabric. The parking is free for hotel guests. I recommend to stay here only if you are travelling with a car cause the city of siena is about 4 km from the place.
אורי — Google review
Rooms need a real upgrade. Bathrooms were incredibly tight and everything was poorly positioned.
Cassandra H — Google review
Best hotel in Siena! The rooms are so clean and the stay is so comfy! And they serve a very tasty breakfast
Eneida S — Google review
Hell on earth. Nothing is what it looks like. Dirty, smelly, traffic noise, people getting lary at 5 in the morning. Far from the city, in a dodgy area. Avoid this hotel at any costs! We booked for 2 nights left after one with no sleep.

Hotel Il Giardino is a charming and unpretentious hotel nestled in a peaceful spot in Siena, just 850 meters from the iconic Piazza del Campo square. Surrounded by its own garden, this hotel offers a range of amenities including an exercise room, hot tub, and an outdoor pool with stunning city views. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the property and comfortable rooms equipped with private bathrooms.
Very practical and cozy hotel with kind owners, good location near to the city centre which you can reach by foot and nice and calm pool area. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and variety from sweet to savory, and fresh food. The view that shoots at old town of Siena from dining room is magnificent. There is free parking also. My recommendations.
Andrea — Google review
Good location with available parking, close to the city gate. Good breakfasts. Friendly staff. Nice view from the hotel. Well-organized hotel area with nice surroundings. The room was quite old and worth renovation. The bathroom was tiny, with doors that didn’t close properly and didn’t provide much privacy. The parking was tight.
Marcin — Google review
We stayed here on a recent trip to Italy for a wedding and the room was lovely. Clean, tidy, spacious and working air conditioning. The breakfast bar was good and the lovely lady at reception was incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s close to Siena centre (a 5 min walk down the hill) and taxis can get you to the train station in 5 mins. Our only complaint was it was one of few hotels in the area that had a pool. So we specifically booked it for that purpose yet when we arrived the pool was not filled because it was ‘out of season’. Heavily recommend checking it will be filled if you are expecting it to be!
Liv ( — Google review
Perfect location, amazing view, and great pool! Breakfast was delicious and the reception staff were super friendly. A small detail like having a kettle in the room would make it flawless!
IsKoc ( — Google review
I likely would have given this hotel a 4 star had the pool been in working order. I ONLY booked this hotel for the pool for my family as the location was not very convenient (being on the edge of town). I was misled during the 3 night stay that the pool would be open in "just a few hours" or "later today". It was never opened and my stay was the MIDDLE of June. I was also told I would receive compensation which i have YET to receive. I would not recommend for these reasons. Rooms were OK- nice view but average (and that was for deluxe). Breakfast room was highlight of stay. Very short staffed- receptionist was doing multiple jobs including bartending.

A 2-night stopover in Siena on our way to the Val d'Orcia. Great location for walking into the old city with lovely views of the famous old buildings in the centre. Room comfortable with balcony - which was a little too small. Air con OK and we had 2 good night's sleep. Breakfast was a good selection of muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt and all the usual pastries, ham & cheese. Cappuccino excellent, with English Breakfast Tea available for sad Brits! Really nice pool with plenty of sunbeds - views to the city. Secure parking.
Graham C — Google review
We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it never disappoints. Here are the major selling points: The location is great - 15/20 minute walk from the Piazza del Campo. The views from the dining room and the newer rooms with balcnies overlooking the city walls and Tuscan countryside. There is free parking. It can get a bit full sometimes, but I have never failed to secure a place. The pool is a major bonus. On the days when it is just too hot to walk about in the middle of the day, it means you can enjoy being outside whilst staying cool. This is the closest hotel to the city centre with a good size pool. The air conditioning. This year in particular I have noticed the air conditioning has been fantastic. It is as cool as anyone could need and almost silent at night. The complimentary breakfast in a beautiful setting. Coffee made to order, pastries, fruit, cereals, meats and cheese, bread. The laid back vibe. This is a family owned and run hotel and Ricardo is friendly and makes sure everything runs smoothly. If you want a quiet, comfortable, clean, relaxing and friendly place to stay with all the benefits set out above, you won't be disappointed.

Top marks for Il Giardino - a very comfortable stay and the location for travellers with a car, outside the ZTL, is perfect! Stand outs for us was Ricardo and Sanela - they were so friendly and full of incredible insight and tips for our stay. They recommended Osteria Babazuf and it was hands-down our best meal of the entire trip. Stunning views. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Super friendly owners. Highly recommend!

Villa Montarioso in Siena is a relaxed guesthouse offering simply furnished rooms and complimentary breakfast. It's conveniently located within a few minutes' drive from popular attractions like San Cristoforo Roman Catholic Church and Palasport Mens Sana Sports Arena. The property, situated in the Val d'Elsa district, provides free self-parking, a solarium, terrace, and garden with complimentary wireless internet access. The fully renovated rooms offer beautiful views and are accessible by car only.
If you want to visit Tuscany by car, this is the perfect place to stay. It's right outside Siena, so it's not crowded. It's quiet, it has a nice view and a big parking lot. At breakfast we had a variety of things to choose from (although the Tartufone was our favourite). We appreciated that it was served starting at 7:30. The staff was attentive and nice, big thanks to them. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cosmina M — Google review
Idilic and quaint. Well laid out rooms, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff that could speak & understand English quite well, just a few meters from a bus stop, walkable distance to a grocery store in good weather
Debbie B — Google review
We were very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, we found that the fridge in our room was not working. We had already bought groceries and only discovered the issue after trying to use it. When we messaged the hotel, they told us the fridge was broken and wouldn’t be fixed until Monday — but we were never informed of this beforehand. Their solution was to tell us to take a key from the reception and use the fridge in room 102. However, that fridge was already filled with staff items and not suitable for guest use. Our room was on the second floor, so it was very inconvenient to go downstairs every time we needed something. We asked for a room change or compensation, but only received vague replies saying they would inform the manager. We paid full price expecting basic amenities to function. This experience was frustrating and poorly handled, and we hope the hotel improves its communication and service for future guests.
Kacerine C — Google review
Location is great! Its a beautiful place, rooms are a bit dark and garage has a small entrance but other than that id recommend staying here if you're in tuscany
Martyna P — Google review
The place is located in a very nice area, with a beautiful view. Rooms are fully renovated. There is a private comfortable parking and elevator. The service is good and the price was decent.

Helpful staff, amazing view of countryside but outside siena so either rent a car or rely on public transportation
Dimitra K — Google review
The location is about 4km from siena, Only accesible by car. If we didn't have rented a car, it would be impossible to find it. The room os very great, kind of a small single bed though. They serve a basic but very good breakfast; there is also a garage available. We arrived after 06.30 pm and the reception was already closed, but they sent a code tô give access to the building, with Keys and instructions inside. The staff is very kind

My family stayed at Villa Montarioso in Siena over one night at the beginning of August 2025. The stay was quite nice and we would definitely stay there again. The host communicated with me before our stay to make sure that I had all of the information necessary for a contactless login, so when we arrived late in the evening we would be able to get into our room. We found the property easily and were quite pleased to find that it had many spaces of private parking. We were able to get into our room easily and found the room to be pleasant. We had no problems with going out to dinner nearby and then returning later in the evening. In the morning, the staff was welcoming and we had a pleasant breakfast onsite. We would be happy to stay here again the next time we visit Siena.

Zara Villa B & B is a laid-back accommodation with unpretentious rooms, some featuring shared bathrooms and a garden. Situated around 1.2 km from the Basilica Cateriniana San Domenico, this 2-star B&B offers free WiFi and parking on-site. Guests can enjoy spacious private apartments with front gardens and delicious homemade breakfast cakes. While the location requires a car to reach Siena center, the comfortable rooms and peaceful setting make for a pleasant stay.
A nice place to stay, when the prices are too high in the city. Walk to the city takes around 30 minutes. Unfortunately our sleep was disturbed by some Poles trying to get in because they forgot the key and locked themselves out, so they kept ringing for 10 minutes straight until I had to get down and open the doors for them...
Dawidolino — Google review
When we arrived only two beds were there even though we booked for 3 people. Then after contacting the owner he was super rude....literally throwing some towels and bed sheets in the room and leaving without a further word. The whole house is dirty and not well kept. The garden is the only positive thing. Stay away if you can!
Jac E — Google review
The city tax only in cash, took me 45 minutes to find one ATM and to get scam. The rooms are clean but think twice before booking here. Should get a card machine for city tax. Also you sell wine so you must have a city because bot everybody walks with 50€ cash in their pocket. Rethink your business a bit, make it more accessible.
Félix L — Google review
Unfortunately by the time we needed accommodation there were no other places left, so we stayed at Zara and it was the worst experience we’ve ever had. The room was awful, we even had broken beds, and it was impossible to sleep. the host was rude, and we even got yelled at by the housekeeper just because we closed the door to the dining room it was quite cold, and she had left it open. The rooms didn’t have any windows yet there were a bunch of insects inside. The breakfast was okay but everything else felt like a scam. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
Zeynalli A — Google review
It was nice and clean, the breakfast is just snacks but they were available at all times. Great spots outside also to relax and enjoy a little down time.
Brooke-Lyne D — Google review
From outside the house is old but cute. However, from inside the environment is creepy and the hostess doesn't help at all. He's not welcoming and he practically ignores you. The bathroom is located very far from the rooms, in a hidden area behind the kitchen. The site is dirty, we couldn't find any clean cups so we had to wash other guest's. The breakfast looks varied, but it doesn't look fresh, so we preferred only packed food. The rooms lacked of enough plugs, the beds were very comfortable though. Even you are short of money, please check other options.
Iris B — Google review
I had a nice experience here. Stayed here for one night and not much complaint.

My stay here was perfectly comfortable. My room was toasty warm, the bed was very comfortable and the pillow was heavenly. Lots of hot water and a peaceful setting with easy parking. Breakfast could be improved though.

B&B Il Corso, located in the heart of Siena, offers a cozy and warm atmosphere with bright rooms featuring wood-beamed ceilings and flat-screen TVs. The building has been renovated while still retaining its authentic charm with 18th-century frescoes and old Tuscan villa-style decor. The six rooms are equipped with modern amenities including minibars, complimentary Wi-Fi, and plush linens.
The location was perfect, and the room was clean and recently renovated. The large bathroom and effective heating made for a comfortable stay. There was also a nice common area for tea and coffee. The host was super friendly and had plenty of recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience!

I would give more stars if I could! Pietro is a gem! Loved the room, and the service was impeccable! Pietro made sure we were welcomed and even helped with dinner reservations and a taxi service. We would absolutely stay here again!!
Chris K — Google review
What an amazing little B&B. It's right in the town center. Behind the Piazza del Campo. We parked our car in the car park ,,Il Corso", which was a 15 min walk away and 35€ for 24h. There is no parking in the city center. The rooms in the B&B are spacious, modern and very clean. Breakfast in the Cafè Nannini is included and only a short walk away. The breakfast is very good. The staff sent some restaurant recommendations in advance and even though some of them were closed as it was Sunday we found an open Osteria, they recommended and the food was excellent. Thank You for a pleasant stay!
Vronie M — Google review
Clean and friendly B&B located in a street just a stones throw from Piazza del Campo. Pietro is an outstanding host and so friendly and helpful , really did give a great welcome. If i was to be really picky it would be good to have tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms - although these are available in a communal relaxed space. Being English we love our black tea and unfortunately this wasn’t available among the extensive selection of other teas. Our room was compact but spotless and with good amenities , it did seem smaller than other rooms that we saw while walking past but we only used it as a base so it’s no deal breaker. Breakfast is not provided on site but at a coffee shop a few doors up, we didn’t find the staff here particularly friendly on our first visit but the following day the welcome was quite different and made up for the previous day. Breakfast consists of a croissant , small sandwich , hot drink and fruit juice - this quality was good and quantity more than adequate but could cause some issues if you have a gluten intolerance as there didn’t seem to be an alternative to the pastries/ bread - we could have informed the B&B in advance so they can’t be faulted for that. Pricing was reasonable considering the location. Would i stay here again - absolutely yes !

Loved our 2 night stay at Il Corso. The signing isn’t obvious, it’s opposite a clothes shop and ice cream parlour. Location is superb! Pietro was very helpful and welcoming and provided good recommendations. It was nice to have a balcony and guest area with free coffee. It was very convenient to leave our cases on check out day. Breakfast is not included which I wasn’t aware of as you expect a breakfast with B&B. The Nannini cafe serves wonderful coffee and a good cooked breakfast down the road.

The property features well-maintained gardens, an inviting outdoor pool, and a sun terrace for relaxation.
This B&B is so extremely beautiful, we never wanted to leave. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. It is rather far from the city center, but there is a bus-station close by and the busses run until late evening and later there are some night busses. We really enjoyed the fact that we were outside of the town and had an awesome few and a pool.

If I could give it a minus 5, I would do so. I am not even sure how he is operating. This place was a mess, worth then a hostel. Dirty, the furniture looked like it was from a donation or a garage sale gone wrong. There was no service, no closer by caffè or restaurant. The only thing is that it was near(15 minutes) the center of Siena. We booked 5 nights online and decided to leave on the 2 night, they didn't even have coffee, we are in italy. Not acceptable

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Two bath and two hand towels included, there was a nice little stand for clothes, a wardrobe, and the first place I’ve had a full bed in Italy. I really liked the room. One really weird thing for me was that check in was contactless, they just left the keys for me to take in a box that was open to anyone passing by. The only problems I had was the shower and sink drains did not work when I went the first night, which I reported and thankfully got fixed by the next day. Another thing was the lamps and outlets randomly stopped working. I reported that and it was fixed within the hour. I did once come back to my room door unlocked when I double checked that it was locked when I left. I also walked away with several huge bug bites, not sure what bug caused it but it definitely happened while I was sleeping. Location is just down the main road, which is incredibly convenient. Lots of shops and good food places within 10/20min of walking. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Casa du Osio is an amazing place to stay in siena! The location is perfect - just in the heart of siena right in the old town and you can reach every tourist attraction by foot. The host Bernadette was very kind and helped us a lot (e.g. finding a parking lot which was - with her help - very uncomplicated).
