Dog park
Rita Valentine Park, a 40-acre open field in Steamboat Springs, is renowned for its scenic mountain backdrop and dog-friendly policies. The park, named after an influential woman involved in its creation, offers a variety of trails and sections suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages. With expansive off-leash areas, dogs have plenty of space to roam freely and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The park also provides stunning views and occasional sightings of deer.
It was an awesome dog park, it had like walking trails so you could walk around and have your dog freestyle with you. It was great scenery all around, some benches and table along the walk paths
Brian H — Google review
Awesome dog park. My dog loves running around in the deep snow.
Tom S — Google review
This is a decent dog park. There isnt any fencing, so if you've got a runner, I'd go elsewhere or bring a leash. They recently put a water fountain that has a dog bowl and water bottle filling station. So awesome!! There are usually friendly dogs here and responsible owners but of course, be responsible for your pet as well. Also, it can get pretty muddy in the early spring.
Amy B — Google review
Great wide open space. All dogs well behaved on our visit
DaemonM — Google review
Wow Bow Wow! Right in the middle of town, a lovely mile walkabout. Water, Dumpster, chip finished graded long walkways, friendly folks, and scenic views. What more could a pup want! Great throwable Ball areas! We walk an hour here daily. Nells favorite spot! Welcome to Steamboat! Enjoy! Off leash buddies galore.
Peter P — Google review
Great park to let the dog run..some short trails. No leashes
Judi F — Google review
This a wonderful resource for Steamboat dogs and owners. Wide open acres for off leash playing. Great improvements with watering station and covered benches. Our two dogs love running and socializing with the other canine visitors. One can’t miss the poop bags at the entry if you didn’t bring your own. If you are one of those inconsiderates who do not feel the need to pick up after your pet please stay away.

Hiking Trails
The Yampa River Core Trail is a scenic pathway that winds along the Yampa River in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It offers stunning views of the river, as well as access to parks, picnic areas, and natural hot springs. The trail is popular for walking, jogging, cycling, and birdwatching. With its peaceful ambiance and beautiful surroundings, it's a must-visit for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Walked along this trail that follows the river and heads into or out of steamboat springs. Trail is easy to walk along and well maintained and marked. Plenty of room on each side for runners, walkers or bikers. Area is pretty with mountains in the background and easy access to the town and various attractions. River is pretty and you also pass by some sulfur springs depending on where you walk. Trail is several miles long overall.
Jozef W — Google review
The highlight of the trail is seeing the Osprey offspring in their nest right outside of the botanical gardens. From that vantage point you can also see the Yampa river through lush vegetation. Aside from that the trail was a great disappointment. The “Core River Trail” lacks one essential - a good view of the river. For a long stretch you walk on a sideway near a busy road. From that sidewalk you look past 20 yards of vegetation, an operational railroad track, and another 30 yards of vegetation to the location of the Yampa river. But you cannot see or hear the river from the trail! Note that numerous bikers riding at speed were a constant nuisance if not a hazard. My recommendation is to find one of the few sites along the river to sit, relax and enjoy the Yampa river. Forget about walking the trail and you’ll be happy you did.
Chip E — Google review
We didn’t walk the full trail. We walked a couple of sections of it over a few days. Saw a couple of nice parks along the way along with the river and the library. A lot of the trail we walked was pretty shady, but there was a long stretch along a side road (not by the river) that was in the direct sunlight so it was a little hot. There was also one spot along the trail that smelled like there might be some sewer issues, but we were able to pass that pretty quickly. Past the library along the river, there was a little hot spring bubbling up. It was cool to see, but I cannot handle the smell. So beware if you’re sensitive to smells like that. I had to move away pretty quickly.
G R — Google review
Really nice paved trail along the Yampa. Only reason for removing a star is the number of bikers who don’t seem to follow the speed limit on the trail or follow trail etiquette which made it a little difficult at times walking with a stroller.

3Holiday Inn Steamboat Springs by IHG

Hotel
Conference center
Wedding venue
Holiday Inn Steamboat Springs, an IHG Hotel, is nestled in the picturesque Yampa Valley of the Rocky Mountains. The hotel offers a range of amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, and a free ski shuttle for guests. The modern urban-style rooms are decorated in warm tones and offer views of the leafy surroundings. Guests can enjoy all-day dining with scenic views at the on-site American restaurant.
Edit; when we extended our stay, the agent didn't mention any difference in price. When I got my bill to check out, they charged us +$48 more than the night before. So since it was a Friday night, I thought that maybe it was more on the weekend. I looked at my app to check that night's price (Saturday) and it was the same as Thursdays price. I emailed the hotel as we had already left. The front desk (Quentin) responded that the front desk person should have let us know of the price difference but there was nothing you they could do. This is the reason I'm taking 2 stars away for service. It was 5 stars prior. This was my first time visiting Steamboat. Chris welcomed us in, treating us like old friends, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and super quiet, the bed is super comfortable (one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in away from home). Sue at Harison's was so much fun, we felt like family while spending our evening at the restaurant. We extended our stay just due to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room. We will be back to Steamboat and this hotel!
Kara K — Google review
This is a hotel on the right hand side of the main drag heading into downtown Steamboat Springs, so location was easy to get to. I had called the day before to ask about room placement and Quentin upgraded my room so kindly. He was very nice! At check in Romeo did a great job and was very courteous. Lots of parking is available. Be aware there is a $10/night parking fee. They had both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs which are serviced and cleaned daily! The gym was very clean. Next time we would request to be further away from the stairs and boiler room though. Room itself had everything you might need for a few nights stay. AC worked well, it was in the 90s during our stay. I love how the bathroom did not fog up after multiple showers, they have figured out great ventilation without a bathroom fan somehow! Housekeeping staff seemed happy too, could hear them gently singing and laughing as they were working. Happy staff is a good thing!
Amery V — Google review
Quentin and Chris were extremely helpful the entire week we were here! I’ve interacted with Quentin the most, and he is so kind. Every time I waned to buy a snack in the lobby, he’d always make me laugh by saying something, and I’d walk away in a better mood than I was before. Awesome guy. When I first got here, I made a mistake of giving Chris the wrong number for a membership thing. He made me feel so much better after that embarrassing moment for me. I hope these two gentlemen get the recognition they deserve. They’re hard workers and their customer service skills exceeds expectations. That was my favorite thing about this hotel. Rooms are clean, I love the facilities (gym, laundry room, pools), location is better than the other hotels in steamboat, and overall, I had a VERY positive experience here. Thanks to all the room service people, maintenance, and others who I wasn’t able to interact with. Y’all are killing it!
Mckenna L — Google review
We were in town for a race and wanted to swing by and check to see if an early check-in was possible. I met Quentin at the desk and he was incredibly nice and helpful. When he checked on our room and reservation, he let me know we were available because we made a mistake and booked the room for two nights, but didn’t stay the first night. That was our fault we joked about it and he offered a couple of solutions to make it better but in the end, it was our mistake. The next morning, we had breakfast and Kemore was awesome. Gave a great recommendation and we were the first customers in the restaurant and had to get moving quickly for a race. He was polite, Cheerful, and made it a great morning. The bison burrito, veggie omelette and fruit and granola were great! We will definitely be back! Hot tub was great too.
Christian D — Google review
The location was great, minutes from everything. The rooms were to be expected for what we paid. I have nothing good to say about the staff. When I walked in the door to check in, no one even acknowledged I walked in the door (I was the only person in the lobby). I literally had to hover over the front desk until the lady looked up- very awkward. She then proceeded to complain about various things in Steamboat. Asked me nothing, told me next to nothing about the hotel (by this point I just couldn't wait to get my key and leave). I walked through the lobby another time and again no one even acknowledged my presence. My wife went down to get coffee one morning. She was the only person in the lobby and the front desk agents (again, nothing said to her), were rambling about the GM and how they never answer their phone before 9am- very unprofessional. I spent years working in hospitality, so I am sure I'm a little more critical, but this guest service was about as bad as it gets. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
Cameron M — Google review
Great location and amenities. Very clean with very attentive staff. Robert went above and beyond for us at check-in. He even assisted us in getting motorcycle parking outside the lobby door. He provided a level of customer service with a smile that you don't see often. Thanks, Robert!!!

Quentin and Romeo were so fantastic and professional! They worked with us to help our stay this weekend turn out amazing. Happy hour at the restaurant was a great value, and pizza was delicious. Easy accessibility to downtown with the shuttle running frequently. Thanks again!
Keegan H — Google review
We stayed four nights at this Holiday Inn. It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant Harison's was not open for lunch, however dinner was good...After two days we changed rooms to one with a balcony and view. Quentin, Keenan, and Chris at the front desk were all very helpful accommodating our request. Thanks to all!

The Nordic Lodge is a cozy hotel located in Steamboat Springs, offering a seasonal outdoor pool and Wi-Fi. Situated in Old Town Steamboat Springs, it's conveniently close to attractions like The Chief Theater and Steamboat Art Museum. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a spa tub, concierge services, and ski storage. The rustic log cabins provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with pine furniture and patchwork-style quilts.
We stayed for one night and greatly enjoyed our time at the lodge. No frills accommodation but great for its value, the bed was comfortable, had working AC and that’s all we really needed. We were also road tripping, so the mini fridge was very helpful. We were also able to plug in our EV to an outlet in the parking lot which we were grateful for. Definitely recommend!
Ellen S — Google review
We stayed here for one night on a road trip from CA to CO. This is a great motor lodge hotel. Although not fancy on the exterior, the rooms are very nice. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed with mountain-like decor and wood upholstered furniture. We had a large suite and it was huge. We also had our dog with us. The king size bed and bedding were super comfortable. Bathroom very nice.
Hilary H — Google review
No space, minimal comfort, extra fees. THERE IS NO COFFEE IN THE ROOM. Rooms are dated and poorly laid out. The parking spaces are very small, and then you end up being charged for parking after you check out. The showers are horrible, it’s like being in a very light rain, no place to put anything in the bathroom and very little at the vanity also. No towel hooks anywhere. The furniture is oversized so you have to squeeze around each other in the room. The hot tub wasn’t working, but you get charged for it also. Fridge wasn’t really cool either. The one positive I’ll give it is that the heater works well and heats the room up quickly and the hot water was very hot. Otherwise it would be 1 star all the way.
Brandy R — Google review
This hotel has the best location in town. I've stayed here multiple times and it's great both in the summer and in the winter. The rooms are a little older but it's everything you need for a short weekend. The staff has always been very nice and helpful and I look forward to staying here again.
Jenny S — Google review
For tubing the river you can't beat this location. We took our tubes out at 11st and walked to the hotel one block. Easy! I love a hotel that has windows that actually open to let in the fresh mountain air. The rooms are cute, clean and fresh. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The service of the staff is where they go above and beyond. Two of the maintenence men made us aware that our car tire pressure was low and proceeded to fill our tires for us! We look forward to our next stay at Nordic Lodge!
Traci N — Google review
We have stayed at The Nordic Lodge twice now, both times have been a great experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and it is right downtown Steamboat Springs so you can walk to local restaurants/shopping. At this point it has become an annual stay in the Fall. The only thing that has been a bummer both times is the heated pool is not very heated.
Zachary F — Google review
We did not have reservations but at the last minute decided to stay in Steamboat. A local recommended we check out the Nordic Lodge and described it perfectly. We were greeted by a kind team member (Mouse) and when I asked if we could see the room first (as it was close to the road and office), Mouse was more than happy to let us take a peek. Our stay was wonderful, and the place is very quaint and cool.

Loved staying here. Easy walk to anywhere downtown and bus stop to the mountain right across the street. nice rooms, clean and beautiful pool. Staff and service is exceptional!

Salt & Lime is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and bar located at 628 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs, CO. It offers a lively rooftop dining experience with picturesque views of Mt. Werner. The menu features reimagined classic Mexican dishes that can be paired with an array of beer, cocktails, and tequila-based beverages.
World class service for a small business! The food and drinks are amazing and it comes out quick. Highly recommend their perfect spicy margarita. You'll meet the owner every once in a while too because he'll work the tables or counters and chat with you. Highly recommend this place. It never disappoints every time I eat here.

Location Location Location...awesome...we made a reservation and got our rooftop seating...for which they were given 1 more star...why....beautiful ski spots all around..food was mainly tacos...filled with cut vegetables and 2 peices of shrimp or fish as per order. The aggressive not so friendly table attendant was anything but customer oriented. The only person Raechel was very welcoming. The dishes were picked up so quickly that was humiliating. Only went because of the scenic rooftop...no value for money.
Dr.Mohina K — Google review
My husband and I shared: - Carne Asada, Shrimp BLT, Pescado Fresco Tacos - Lucky 8 Bison Burrito The food was fantastic. I'm torn between the Shrimp BLT taco and burrito being my favorite. I also loved the fish taco. The rooftop patio was such a nice setting overlooking the town and mountains. The only downside is that it's kind of pricey. I guess that's the mountain town tax for you. Even so, this is one of the best places we've eaten at in any Colorado mountain town and I'd definitely come back!
Jacqueline T — Google review
We scored a table on the rooftop to enjoy the fall foliage while enjoying a great meal. From the cuatro quesos to the carne asado durango bowl we weren’t disappointed. Definitely not your typical Mexican meal. Everything was delicious with a unique twist that we will never forget! The service was great and the entire restaurant had a fun vibe. Highly recommend this place!!!
Karen V — Google review
This is actually our third time to visit with the first two visits several years ago. I meant to write a quick review back then but didn’t get around to it so we were hopeful that this visit didn’t disappoint. Our only minor disappointment was that we had unintentionally waited until after 8:00 pm and the upstairs deck was closed for their last hour of operation. Other than that, we had a great visit…the food and drinks were excellent and the service was friendly and superb. Just like our visits two years ago, we hope to make it over here several times while we are in town.
David D — Google review
Beautiful upstairs patio, the shades create a little bit of noise with wind but not terrible. We had to wait a little bit for service, but everything was LOVELY once we were greeted. Drinks are great, food and presentation is beautiful and WOW did our food come out fast.

Tried the guacamole for an appetizer with the chips the flavor was great but the portion was pretty small. Tried three different tacos bison, bacon shrimp and carne asada.

Sublime house marg on the rocks with salt for lunch was a Mud Season special! Nicky our waitress asked about allergies and handled it very professionally. She added a great down-to-earth vibe to this popular place that long-time locals like me & my daughter love to treat ourselves to also. The beer-battered fish tacos are The Best outside of Baja with their own special (and healthy) Steamboat style.

Storm Peak Brewing Company is a haven for beer enthusiasts, offering a diverse selection of brews and styles crafted by Colorado's finest. Boasting two locations in Steamboat Springs, this brewery prioritizes quality and community. Recently, they unveiled a new rooftop seating area at their west end location, providing stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Visitors can expect friendly staff and an ever-evolving menu of handcrafted beers.
Tried 8 different brews between our two flights and they were all good! Great selection and a lot of IPAs to choose from. Awesome spot and the pizza place next door had amazing food! Will definitely be back next time we visit Steamboat Springs.
Corine R — Google review
Great local brewery nestled between a pizza and bbq joint (you can pick up food from either place and bring it to the brewery.) About 10 seats at the bar, as well as a full covered patio and tables in the brewery provide plenty of room to stretch out. Dog friendly place with a lot of locals makes for a relaxing vibe. Our bartender, Mary Grace, was a breath of fresh air. We tried most of their beers during our stay in Steamboat and each one was well crafted and full of flavor. We even got beer to go! Will DEF stop here again the next time we’re in town. Hopefully you’ll have the opportunity to meet Gus, one of the local pups who makes this place extra special!
Cheri P — Google review
We really liked this place! Unique offerings, great vibe, and reasonable prices. We went during a busy Friday after a long hike and the service was excellent and accommodating to our family of 6. The attached restaurant was excellent too and shared outdoor seating with this brewery. For the local area, this is a stand-out place and we'd highly recommend a stop. The brew offerings are both traditional AND unique, so we had a lot to meet our palate. We stayed a while and took in the scenery on the upper deck seating as the sun went down. A solid stop and family friendly.
Bill S — Google review
Great beer with friendly staff who provided knowledgeable recommendations. A Crowler or Growler to-go make a camping trip or visit in the Steamboat area even better. My favorite brewery in Steamboat is worth making a cold pit stop at every visit. My favorite thing about this brewery next to the beer is that it is dog friendly.
Johnny T — Google review
I enjoy stopping by here when we’re in town. It’s a fun industrial brewery that allows dogs! Great beer, and expanding because the patrons love it. The patio is great in the summer and the new roof deck is a cool addition for this growing business. I love that there’s a pizza place next door to get food as well.

Tasty brews selection and a chill atmosphere. Kombucha was yummy. Lots of fest tables and space. Bluegrass/folk music rockin’. Friendly staff. Nice pizza place next door to pair with your brews. The merch was nice.

Perfect location, friendly staff, super clean rooms. Parking was easy, elevators were conveniently located and easy to bring stuff in from the car. Tons of restaurants and stores around and starbucks with gift shop right in the lobby. Ski in/ski out for the season, so that's super clutch. Beautiful views from the room, quiet and felt safe. We would love to come back!

Room was not ready until after 4 and so they graciously extended our checkout time to 10:30 bc of my gold status- yeah We tried to call the front desk to see if I room was ready at 2 and tried calling multiple times including the local 970 - number but kept getting an ai assistant. No option to talk w anyone. Awful! So we drove all way to hotel to find out our room was not available Great view of the Hvac. I’m sure ppl love sitting on the lovely patio and staring at the roof. This was a 2 bdrm 2 bath villa w a mtn view and nicely appointed but no hot water for shower. Warm but not hot.

Had a pleasant experience this fall in our stay. The room space was very efficient, if you know what I mean, but that said, the suite had a full set of amenities from stove top to washer and drier. Hotel staff were very polite and pleasant. Quick and easy check in and out. I am taking 1 star off because: 1. you have to pay for parking, 2. the underground garage smelled like trash, was super creepy, stupid small (pillars blocked every space) and 3. if you want a cup of coffee, only choice is paying for Starbucks (other than drip maker in room).

⭐️⭐️ (2/5) Disappointing stay — needs major updates and improved service We stayed at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas from October 7–11 and, unfortunately, our experience was less than acceptable. While the location is convenient, the property itself is in serious need of attention. Our one-bedroom villa was very dated and uncomfortable. Several electrical outlets did not work, and light switches were placed in odd, inaccessible spots (one even behind a television). Overall, the unit felt worn out and overdue for an upgrade. Housekeeping was unacceptable — towels were changed, but no meaningful cleaning was done during our stay. The lobby market was only open briefly in the early morning and late afternoon, which made it inconvenient for guests. Staff interactions were polite but minimal; service felt perfunctory at best. As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I received no acknowledgment, upgrade, or welcome gift. Recognition of loyalty status was completely absent. I do not recommend this property. With so many better-maintained options in Steamboat Springs, the Sheraton Villas fell far short of the Marriott standard I’ve come to expect.

What a great experience, came here to celebrate my wife and I 20th anniversary. I had called after booking and worked with guest services to see if there was anything special they could help make the weekend more romantic, and they had set up a bottle of champagne with a box of chocolates and a personalized card to help celebrate our milestone. The rooms were great, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and all the amenities to give us a great weekend. Although the hot tub was out of order during our stay, the rest of the amenities such as the pool was great. Amazing views, friendly staff, we will definitely be back.

Really nice hotel, staff is absolutely top notch! Front desk is 5 stars, Bar/restaurant service is 5 stars. It got 3 stars because I bought an overpriced half gallon of milk at the store in the lobby that was sour, drank it before I realized what was going on and it made me sick! Other than that, wonderful time!

Double charged for my stay. Purchased through priceline. Priceline said that hotel was in wrong and said they would refund. They wouldn't return my calls and didnt credit me. My experience was if you aren't a member of their time share club, you are not a valued customer. At double rate I certainly wont be returning. What supposed to be a wonderful treat for my senior mom ended up a huge disappointment.

I checked in and noticed vomit on the outside of my toilet. I immediately reported it, but it was not cleaned up. On the second morning, I told them again. The maids came in, and it was still not cleaned. I asked once more in the evening, and they said it would hopefully be cleaned soon. They gave me a $50 food credit, but this was not the service I was expecting from a four-star hotel. Update: the hotel still has not cleaned it. I am going to ask again for the fourth time. I just waited an hour for a pickup order and had to cancel it because they hadn’t even started making it.

Hey friends! We are At Rabbit Ears Motel, Steamboat for the night after picking the kids up from summer camp. If you want a nice & affordable option in Steamboat this place is excellent! Great location across from the Old town hot springs Steamboat Springs CO, very affordable, friendly staff comfortable enough beds (which I'm usually picky about) and perfectly clean. I was pretty skeptical because of the low price but I tried it anyway since it’s just a night and I’m glad I did! I’ll definitely be back for some summer excursions!

Rabbit Ears was a great place to stay in Steamboat. Front desk staff were so friendly, flexible and helpful, with good advice about things to do/places to eat. And the room looking out on the River was perfect !! It’s location is great too - just a few minutes walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. We haven’t stayed in non-chain lodging for years - but we are very glad we did !!

This is everything I wish that all motels were! It’s clean, comfortable and all amenities work well (AC, showers, TV, microwave, Fridge) the staff are friendly and accommodating. They saw I was traveling alone with two kids and helped me with a free room upgrade since they had plenty of vacancy. The breakfast was nothing fancy but enough, and the coffee was pretty good! And I’m a coffee snob 😬 🤷🏼‍♀️ I love being able to walk to the downtown area from here, and the hot springs are right next to us. I will be returning on my next teip to steamboat!

We stayed at Rabbit Ears Motel during a major race weekend. On our last morning, we discovered a mouse in our room. When I reported it, both the manager and the overnight desk associate told me that rodents are “normal” in the rooms and even in the breakfast area. Instead of taking the issue seriously, the manager laughed at us and said we “must not be from the country” and “must not have been to Steamboat before,” implying that every hotel in Steamboat must have mice/rodent problems. I’m from Colorado, and have stayed in Steamboat many times, and I’ve never experienced or been told this is normal. Rodents in guest rooms — and especially in food service areas — are a serious sanitation concern. While we were eventually moved to a different room on the second floor for our final night, the lack of professionalism and basic regard for cleanliness was extremely disappointing to say the least. UPDATE: After I posted this review, management (Lindsey) reached out personally, sincerely apologized for how the situation was handled, and issued a full refund for our stay. She made it clear this is not considered normal for the property and said steps are being taken to prevent it from happening again. I appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to make things right. UPDATE 2: I’ve now seen the motel’s public response claiming staff never said rodents are “normal” in rooms or the breakfast area. I want to clarify that both the manager and overnight desk associate told me exactly that, in front of my friend, and whom I was told was the manager, Beth, also mentioned squirrels and chipmunks had been in rooms before. I appreciate Lindsey’s and Greg's later apology and full refund, but I stand by my review as an accurate account of what I personally experienced and was told during my stay.

This is a great motel to stay at. The room we had was spacious and very clean. The location of the motel is another plus. It's right across the street from the Old Town Hot Springs (which they have discounted rates) and right next to 3rd Street in case you are going to Strawberry Hot Springs. Besides easy access to the Hot Springs, it is in downtown Steamboat Springs, so everything is within walking distance. As I mentioned, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The buildings and grounds are well maintained. We will definitely be staying there again next year when we visit Strawberry Hot Springs.

We stayed here for a week in September. The location is perfect. Downtown shopping and dining are very walkable. Our room was spacious and the addition of a microwave and mini fridge were very accommodating. Any interactions w staff at the desk were pleasant and productive. Everyone was very kind. One of the women at the desk offered us the use of her umbrella when we going to walk downtown on a rainy night! We decided to drive instead, but the offer was sweet. Thank you all, so much. We will be returning!

Management was amazing, after driving all night they checked me in at 10am. Thank you!!! Rooms are clean nice tiled showers! only reason I can't give 5 stars all the way across is some rooms are really small.

This place was perfect for me and my best friend. We had the double queen bed. Nice little kitchen area and living room area. It was perfect for what we needed. The BEST part of our stay was the incredible staff. The customer service was beyond anything I could have expected from a hotel like this. A guy named Eric… not sure if he is the manager or not…. He was absolutely amazing. His customer service and willingness to create the PERFECT experience during our stay was outstanding. I would stay here a million times over simply because of him!!! Thank you so much for all of your help Eric! You Rock!!!

Great Stay Friendly Staff and Comfortable Rooms!! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff at the front desk were very kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Although the price per night is a bit high, it’s definitely worth it for the quality of service and overall comfort. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I book for a large roofing company and when we reserve a room for X amount of nights we always include incidentals. These are PREPAID. I spoke with someone at the hotel the day I made a reservation to CONFIRM that my employee would not need a card when they arrived. I was assured they would not! Well fast forward, and they DID ask him for a card which was then charged for incidentals that were already PREPAID. It has now taken over a week (and counting) for him to get his money off of "hold" status. Our company will not be booking with your hotel again.

A nice, newer hotel. The parking lot is small and there was no spaces left the first evening we arrived, partly due to the two concrete trucks allowed to park in the lot, so I was told to park near the front entrance in the fire lane along with several other vehicles. The hallway door of the room had a huge gap and didn’t seal which compromised its sound proofing and fire protection. Bedrooms are good size, beds were on the firm side and pillows weren’t very comfortable. The back door of the hotel leaving from the breakfast gathering area had a sign on the exterior that said the doors were locked at all times for security but that wasn’t the case, the right door when walking from inside to outside remained unlocked every time I used it. The breakfast was well stocked and efficiently ran, the guys working the area did great. Front desk staff was great except for a young lady with longer hair who was more interested being on her phone. Good laundry facilities for $3 wash/dry, clothes were completely dry in one cycle. My kid said the pool water was cold compared to other hotels. Nice game room with ping pong and foosball. The foosball table had a ball jam and wasn’t working our last day. When making room selection note that a new hotel is being built on the main entrance, north side affecting views. Better views are on the parking lot side. Location is not walkable to anything. In general a decent hotel that could use a few improvements.

I don’t feel we should of been charged so much for our room since the hot tub didn’t work. Also breakfast was very cold. No scrabled eggs as you show that you serve. Pancakes were hard and dry. Toast only toast on one side. Hotel over all is very nice but not that nice for the 300.+

Room was very spacious and a beautiful view of the mountains. Went to relax in the hot tub after 14 hr drive only it didn’t work. Nothing was said at check in about it. Breakfast was cold and selection was weak. Price of room is way over priced Probably won’t stay at again.

Room is good. Kitchen accessories are average. Parking is terrible. Internet is god awful. I have been trying to update my PC with a 40 GB files and its at 71% in 2 days.... just awful.

I liked it! We had a suite which separated the bedroom from living room. King bed was massive and comfortable. Pull out sofa is as expected. We had to put the sheets and blankets on the pullout but we didn’t ask for service so maybe they’ll do it for you upon request? Full kitchen. Super convenient to pick up the bus - directly across the street from front lobby. We didn’t use the pool or workout facility but some of us had the breakfast and said it was good! Overall, really nice! One down side was the thin walls. My son slept in the living room and you could hear every word spoken in the hallway loud & clear. Thankfully, he’s a heavy sleeper.

Ski resort
Gravity Haus Steamboat is a cozy ski-in/ski-out hotel located in the beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO. Situated just steps from the Steamboat Gondola at the base of the ski area, it offers easy access to skiing and other outdoor activities. The hotel features stylish and comfortable guest rooms, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a restaurant. Guests can enjoy convenient ski storage and relax in the hot tub or pool after a day on the slopes.
Charming and eclectic. The decor has obviously been updated several times over the years. And my own room was a mix of features and amenities spanning 4 or 5 decades. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I particularly enjoyed their bid to reduce waste with pump top soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The staff were amazing. If you're fortunate enough to meet Maggie, at the front desk; I found her to be witty, funny, and very kind. Definitely will stay again.

My stay at Gravity Haus was one I would emphatically recommend. The sense of community was woven into every aspect of my stay, from early access to amenities, to the staff's curated knowledge of timely local events, and ultimately, to the camaraderie I found with engaging and like-minded clientele in the common areas. It felt like a concept that lives its ethos. I also want to commend Paula for helping make the experience truly exceptional. Not only was she incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure my experience met my expectations when I arrived, she also did this answering questions over the phone in the days leading up to my stay. Every interaction with her was a pleasure. Paula is a true asset to the Gravity Haus team, and her outstanding presence is a primary reason I will return.

This is my second time staying at this property for work. The staff is kind, but the rooms are in need of some basic maintenance. The toilet handle, sink and shower faucets were all loose and in need of repair/tightening/caulking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. If you like super trendy/hip overpriced boutique hotels, this one is for you. I could hear the ski lift running outside my room, but I was able to sleep threw the noise. It's a very convenient location and there is a bar/restaurant/coffee shop located inside the property, although the operating hours are not super early or late and the prices are a bit steep (even for Steamboat). Additionally, since I was traveling for work, my client booked the hotel room. I was not made aware that there is a $16/night charge for parking when I checked in. Their disclaimer is that "you're notified when making the reservation and there's also a sign at checking stating the charge". Except I didn't make the reservation personally and I was so exhausted by the time I checked in after a 4.5 hr drive that I didn't look for any signs about parking. This is a lack of transparency with the property and a complete money grab. If I would have been notified by the front desk person at check in, that would have been fine. However, these are really shady practices and I will not be staying here again.
Brandy M — Google review
Overhyped & Overpriced Don’t be fooled by the slick marketing—Gravity Haus is a total gimmick. It tries to present itself as a trendy, upscale destination, but the reality is closer to a frat house with a fresh coat of paint. The building is old, the walls are paper-thin, and the “renovations” feel cheap and rushed. What they call a hip, modern vibe comes across as forced and pretentious. Basic amenities are lacking—no free breakfast, for one. But the worst part is the parking. They charge you for it (which is ridiculous for a rural area), and yet spots are rarely available. Staff even suggested I park in a fire lane (seriously?). When I returned from the hot springs, there wasn’t a single space open, so I had to circle the lot and wait. Meanwhile, they had 6–7 prime spaces blocked off to showcase luxury cars parked like props for some lifestyle ad. Overall, the experience screams “tech bro” energy—style over substance, with zero respect for actual hospitality. If you’re looking for a genuine, comfortable stay, skip Gravity Haus. There are far better options nearby that won’t make you feel like you’ve paid premium prices for a headache.
Anton P — Google review
I stayed here because I got an off-season deal. The social scene was perfect for the lifestyle that a skier or Biker would appreciate. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful and made me feel like I belonged. However, the room needs renovation. The bed was squeaky, the AC unit was loud when it turned off and on, And the tub drain was slow.
Alicia K — Google review
Gravity Haus Steamboat is an OK place to stay if your expectations aren't too high. I'll try to explain. The room is dated. Some attempts have been made to update it, by painting over worn out and splintered deck boards on the balcony, and some wall paper on the wall paneling. The bathroom is extremely small. The very narrow door into the bathroom is the lightest, thinnest, panel door I've ever seen, sort of like an economy single wide mobile home would have. This door has also picked up a lot of moisture through its long hard life and so the wood paneling is peeling and cracking and had to be painted over several times to try to hide those flaws, instead of just replacing it with higher quality. I suppose the many dings and scratches on the base boards and walls and cabinets are from the many skis and ski boots that have passed through the room. I guess the worst part is the price you pay for this room. That’s what makes all this hard to stomach. For the unbelievably high price we paid, we would have expected a room 50% larger and a bathroom 200% larger, with a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub and plastic curtain. And we would have liked to step out on the balcony without snagging our socks on splintered wood and flaked paint. The bed was comfortable, and we would have slept well if it hadn't been for the wild karaoke party in the next room over (across a thin paneled wall) that finally shut down at 3:15am after I called the front desk, which was immediately outside our door. The lady at the front desk took 15 steps (I heard every step) from the front desk and asked this party crowd to shut it down. I wondered why she hadn't noticed the din earlier. Maybe the walls in the admin office are made of better stuff. Anyway the party wasn't so much the hotel's fault. And the room was easily as good as a Days Inn or La Quinta. Location was great. At half the price, we would have been quite satisfied.
Trevor T — Google review
Hotel had everything we needed and was a quaint and charming place. Very clean and good amenities. Needs a bit firmer mattresses (felt more like a firm air mattress). Also needs more parking spaces, especially when you are being charged an extra $15 (we came back from rodeo and had to make a parking space, hoping not get towed). Lastly, but not that big of deal, is getting at least 2 complimentary bottles of water instead of charging $5
Jessica G — Google review
The girl with the pink hair who checked me in was amazing! She made a long travel day so much better. She was super friendly and made it a smooth process for me. She also gave some great dinner and camping recommendations in the area. Other than that, my bathroom was a bit dirty when I got there and somehow my reservation was lost midway through my stay. Overall, a good stay and the hot tub was nice.

We live in Denver, come to ski every year and we stay here every time. Stayed here again last weekend. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good. Also love the hot tub and the bus stop right outside.

The room we were booked in was the most unclean I’ve ever seen. There was what looked to be black mold in the tub, splatters of human feces around the base of the toilet, blood on the soap holder, spilled liquids on the desk and stains on the bedsheets. When asked to be moved rooms or have the reservation cancelled, both requests were denied. Despite the excellent proximity to the ski slopes, I would not recommend this hotel.

The location is great. It's near a walking path and creek. It's close to many restaurants. The front desk staff is wonderful but check out the photos of staff on their phone while the breakfast bins are empty.

Skip the Breakfast. The pricing was reasonable for the area. The cleaning staff was busy working hard and having fun with their job and friendly. Cleanliness 5 stars. The hotel was slow at opening of ski season. Beds super soft and comfy. Good electrical outlets with plenty of Amps for charging stuff. My Problem is having to do with ruining half of my only full day of vacation because their breakfast food was absolute cheap garbage. Potatoes, link sausage, that ultra thin non bacon tasting bacon, and 2 plastic texture pancakes. Every bite tasted off. with in an hour the bloat and discomfort and lethargy was in full effect. We went to the gym down the street just to move. I felt better and we got lunch. I couldn't eat it. Came back to the room and I've been in here for 4 hours and slept 2 of them. New rule in general, don't consume hotel food, it's worse than public education cafeterias. Ran out of my travel Pepto.

So, I think the price is high for the bad and poor quality they give. I paid for 2 nights and I think I'll only be there for one. They assigned me a room in an area where they are doing repairs, the noise and the men talking loudly starting before 8am is unbearable, I'm here for work and I need to rest. (I think they can do those jobs after 10am). They say breakfast is from 6 to 9am (I went to have breakfast at 8:15am and there was nothing left). In conclusion I do not recommend this place, unless you don't mind losing your money and peace of mind. I will only give it one star for the cleanliness of the rooms and the good work of the housekeeping.

Updated hotel in a great location. They also allow dogs and have a nice outdoor area for them. We had the 2 bedroom 2 bath room. Everything was clean and updated. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows and extra bedding . The couch folds out for a bed but we didn't use it. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The breakfast was a little sad, bagels and muffins only but great for a fast meal.

Long story short. We spent $500 for 2 nights. Seen the ladies review regarding the bites all over her. We searched our entire room for bed bugs. Seen none. Spent the night and went exploring steamboat the next day. We got back to our room around 2 to find a bed bug on the bed. We immediately packed up and left. When I addressed the front desk the offered another room. But never offered a partial refund or apologies. Just said they would let management know and the cleaning crew would look at it. The front desk was friendly. But I doubt to ever hear from management or get any refund. We had $428 in the room, $100 hold for incidentals that I doubt I’ll get back, and $76 in pet fees. Unfortunately this ended what should have been a really nice long weekend. Also the outside of the building is in horrible condition. The front office door needs to be yanked open. The dead bolts don’t appear to work. The key cards for the doors work very poorly. All in all was terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and stay across the street at the Residence Inn that looks brand new!

Massive construction going on in October. Made entering and leaving Fold very cumbersome. The rooms are nice. Very clean. Didn't like the institution lighting. No lamps at all...just bright overheads but the fan light did dim. Nice showers. Excellent back door yard area and especially nice being on the ground floor. The TVs are ok..not fully compatible with all your home streaming services or if they were I couldn't figure it out. My room was next to the cleaning staff laundry area which made for some extra noise. I mean overall it's a nice place. Had bad luck with all the construction going on on the streets.

This hotel/VRBO is centrally located in between old downtown Steamboat and the ski slopes only 1 block off the highway. We rented a 2-bedroom suite, and it was clean with everything working as expected and even had a full kitchen. Each room had its own TV and there was also a TV out in the main sitting room. The beds were a little on the firm side for our liking but still comfortable overall. Plenty of parking spots rights outside of your room. The lobby and game room was great and clean with a pool table, arcade game, and board games to enjoy free of charge. There is also an outside deck on the 2nd level with a BBQ for grilling. We didn't use the sauna, hot tub, or exercise equipment but they appeared to be clean and in working condition. We forgot our smartwatch chargers at home and the hotel manager, I believe her name was Cathleen, went above and beyond and allowed us to use her personal watch charger to charge our watches which was super nice. There is repaving going on in front of the hotel on the street, but it was still easy to get in and out of the parking lot. It looks like they will be done with that construction in the next month or so if not sooner. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Steamboat Springs is a casual lodging option that offers an indoor pool, complimentary continental breakfast, and WiFi. Located just a minute away from the family-friendly Steamboat Ski Resort, this mountainside resort provides cozy one to three-bedroom spaces with balconies or decks for enjoying the fresh Rocky Mountain air. Very clean, updated, modern rooms. Check in was fast, receptionist was nice. If we were here longer than one night we probably would have taken advantage of the gym, pool, and hot tub in the hotel next door. I have only two complaints. 1. At check in we were told we’d be charged an additional $10 fee for parking in the parking lot. That’s ridiculous and the first time on our road-trip this has been sprung on us. The four stars for service has nothing to do with the receptionist and everything to do with the parking policy they’ve snuck in after you’ve paid and booked online, with no warning. 2. You can hear every little noise. I honestly really liked this hotel until we were woken up by the alarm clock in our room at 6am, had no idea it was set. The walls are thinner than paper. As I’m trying to fall back asleep from being woken up by the alarm clock there’s a herd of elephants running and stomping up and down the hallways on the first and second floor. There are people talking so loudly at the breakfast area as if they aren’t 15-20 feet away from rooms with sleeping or attempting-to-sleep people in it. The 3 stars for rooms is for how little sound proofing there is. The amenities and decor are great.

This place was recently remodeled and it seems some things are still under construction, like the pool. The room had been updated and the bed was comfortable, but the walls are paper thin. You hear the noise from all sides- above, next door and the hallway. The parking lot was very icy and a man fell hard outside our window. Only then did maintenance go put down salt. The breakfast was pretty abysmal. They had some issue and couldn’t make the hot food in house so it came from Safeway or something and wasn’t out until an hour after breakfast opened. They only had basic stuff, no cream cheese for the bagels or condiments for the eggs and potatoes. I would not stay here again, despite the location. It is not worth $300/night.
Rebecca M — Google review
Never again! The rooms were awful. I don’t think they ever vacuumed, the shower was gross, and the sink wouldn’t drain — so you had to brush your teeth with standing water. Basic needs that hotel should have and the audacity to raise rates is the complain here. I thought it would be at least clean— big mistake. I’ll pay the extra money next time . I couldn’t wait to leave. I spent way too much for what this hotel was worth for two nights, including the pet fee. I know it was Labor Day weekend, but seriously, plan ahead so you don’t end up here. I wasn’t even on vacation — I was here for work — but still, I should’ve planned better.
Tatiana T — Google review
The whole place is being remodeled. But for how expensive it cost to stay here I would have thought it was in better shape. Our room was gross. It had paint on all the fixtures and on the floors as well as the bathroom was tiny and the door had major water damage to it. The front desk guy seemed like he didn't want to do his job or like I was doing something wrong. Had to check where I drove in the parking lot because it was covered in construction trash to make sure I didn't drive over a nail or screw. We still got breakfast but it was in the Holiday Inn next door. Woke up to the sound of a man lift buzzer used for their construction. It would have been nice if they had a disclaimer stating that this hotel was being remodeled. If I would have know this I would not have stayed the night their. Not worth the price and they need a more friendlier front desk guy.
Pablo C — Google review
I thought people were over-exaggerating saying that the walls here were paper thin but man, they were correct. I am a very heavy sleeper and I could not sleep past 6am when it sounded like a parade of elephants and people talking was outside my door. At one point I even thought people were trying to break into the room but it was someone running into the door. They also placed us in a room directly next to the maintenance room so water dripping noises and loud sounds at all hours. Holes in the curtains and stains on the sheets. Cannot believe people pay $300+ for this peak season. I would prob not stay here again.
Katherine H — Google review
They put us in a room right next to the laundry room and with a handicap shower that you can barely fit in. The breakfast was pathetic. There wasn’t a single healthy option. Other than apples that were not very good. We ended up having to go buy another breakfast
Rodney G — Google review
Shower is a joke. $10 a night for parking. If you want to sit in the hot tub, or go swimming, you have to walk, across 2 parking lots, next door to the holiday inn. 3rd week staying in steamboat for work. And the most I've paid for 3 nights. Booked through Priceline and was more expensive than the previous two, 3 night stays, next door at the holiday inn. They were booked, so I stayed here s la quinta this time. Got woken up by the adjacent rooms alarm clock, paper thin walls, and my alarm went off unexpectedly because no one checked to make sure it was off before check inn. I have never left a bad review in my life until this one
Jeff C — Google review
Our room was nice and spacious, the bathroom and shower had some slight water stains or mold. There was alot of construction going on behind the hotel which was noisy at times . We booked the hotel online and there was no mention on a parking fee so we were a bit surprised when they told us about the parking fee being $10 a night which was disappointing.

Had to have Brian The manager be called to come and help me,rude, inconsiderate employees one sweeping one won't come from behind the cash register! Maybe try to help customers instead of pointing at things, just rude won't be returning and will absolutely not be telling people to patronize this place, how embarrassing for you all, young man told Brian to "get up front" how unprofessional.

They have the nicest and most helpful staff! The store is great and had a lot of great products. They even had the cutest little bunnies you could pet. I am from out of state and needed to borrow their printer (totally random, I know) and their staff was so courteous and friendly to help a stranger from out of town. If you’re looking for a great store with wonderful customer service check Elk River Pet and Ranch out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first time in to grab dog supplies, liked the store. The friendly shop cat made me smile, and I was surprised they had some small live pets for sale too like Guinea Pigs and Turtles. Would go back just because it makes me happy to check it out.

Brought my Westie in to fit her for a new harness. As I was checking out, one of the employees asked if I wanted a bobblehead .... a promotional item from Hills, and it was a Westie!!! Of course I said yes, but did not realize until I got home that I was not charged for it (and maybe there was not a charge), but how sweet and what a gift. Elk River Pet & Ranch employees care about their customers

Colby & Michelle have through the years been helpful, knowledge, and the staff retention to me speaks loudly for the atmosphere they must crate. Spring Creek Dog Park at the Lower Pond, also known as Sailors Way Trail, is a hidden gem in Steamboat Springs. It offers a fenced area for dogs to run and play fetch. The leash-off dog park is a joyful space where furry friends can cool off with a dip in the water. The trail is perfect for walking, running, and biking with gradual elevation changes and scenic river views. There are amenities like porta potties and covered picnic areas outside the dog park.
This hike was easy and short. My daughter and I wanted to see Steamboat Springs. So we found this short 1.2 mile hike. While sitting next to the Spring Creak pond we actually got to see an otter swimming and go into his wooded home.
Joanna S — Google review
Very small dog park, no shade, tiny pond, 1/2mi hike to get too. Better off just going to somewhere along the Yampa River for easier access to water for swimming.
Ryan F — Google review
Met so many happy dogs during our hike. I loved it here. Most owners actually clean up after their dogs so it's pretty clean. It's beautiful and I wish I lived closer.

This trail/park is perfect to take your pupper and let them run off some steam off leash! I saw everyone out there: walking, running and biking! The trail is 10 miles all together but there was never a part that I thought was "hard", the elevation changes are very gradual and easy. The trail follows the river for almost all the trail which is nice as well:) Enjoy!

Such a great dog park! The walk up to the area is right along a creek which provides ample opportunity for your pup to get a drink. The actual dog park is by the lower pond. My pups thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in the pond and rock hopping. This park is extremely clean...please keep it that way by cleaning up!

The owner was very interested in our trip and after a very nice and informative conversation, ended up supporting us with a snacks and a small bag (what we were searching for) of high quality and nutritious dog food - for free. Thank you so much for your kindness and keeping us on the road! The shop has a great selection of high quality food and (outdoor) dog gear. Absolutely worth a visit!

Fantabulous experience of trail..trek...not at long one...but lot of wooden path..bridge...and then after the bridge views..photo moments...huge rocks to descend into the waters coming down...fun wading legs..splashing water and a lot of fun for kids. Parking is on lots and roadside...feeling of 5$. If not paid a humble note to pay when you return. Lots of dogs on the path ..but owner respected. Portable restrooms...simply a must visit place

Depending on the path, going up is easy, wheel chair accessible. Going down, moderate with small rocks, we are a little older so each of us used a single walking stick just for balance, but most people didn't. Carry drinking water for hydration in this altitude. The fountains at trail head were dry. Beautiful scenery! We are here on August 31, a little warm but not bad. Parking challenging on weekends.

Hiked Fish Creek Falls today and it was the highlight of my trip. The trail to the upper falls really got my heart pumping, but reaching the top was worth every step—the views are incredible! The lower falls are easy to reach and perfect for photos, while the upper trail gives you a real adventure. Parking is $5, with restrooms and picnic tables. I’d go back in a heartbeat.”

A great place to go hiking if you're in the area with a variety of different trails and difficulties offering great views of God's creation. Although, it gets busy and parking in the lot may be difficult to find, it's big enough where most trails are overcrowded with folks.

Great little walk / hike with kids. Extremely busy parking lot & hiking trails. Short paved overlook path was fine with 4 and 6 year old. You could easily take a stroller on this Trail was very busy & lots of dogs. Always a good option, bring a picnic!

Amazing views! The 10% grade down and up for the 1/4 mile hike was brutal but completely worth it. If you have it in you, worth it to do the overlook path as well. Take a picnic lunch from the grab and go place in town and enjoy and nice lunch!

My family and I had a great brunch experience at creekside! The restaurant is nestled right by the edge of a creek and that made our outdoor eating experience extra special. Our server Brett was wonderful and attentive. I ordered the Santa Fe omelette and it was cooked perfectly. All my other family members really enjoyed their meals. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Steamboat!

We were visiting Steamboat Springs Colorado and went on Sunday morning to Creekside Café and it was awesome. I got the Belgium malted waffle and my wife got some kind of omelette that she loved. The service was awesome and the atmosphere was beautiful.

This was one of the best breakfasts my mom and I have EVER had. We are dying to go back. Amazing drinks selection, excellent food options, and great service. Cute little place and adorable outdoor patio. They were quite busy for a weekday morning during their slow season, but I'm sure they are always busy. I ordered their special - banana bread french toast (without the toppings they had) with eggs and sausage patty. My mom ordered eggs, sausage and pancakes. I had two of their specialty coffee drinks and my mom had a bloody mary. Everything was delicious. Can't reccomend more!

Great breakfast for a wonderful start to the day! We went in for a Sunday brunch. We walked in at the right time and had a table in 3-4 minutes. They stayed busy but the service was fast. I had the cowboy Benedict and the wife had the rancheros and we both had a seasonal speciality drink. Food was great and fast. Drink matched well too. They will be the top of our list next trip to town.

Don't let the line deter you from joining the wait list. The host managed the long list well and we waited no more than 15m. It is worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this place! I got the eggs Benedict with fried eggs. I did specify that I cannot eat red meat and asked multiple times to ensure that there would be no contamination but when I got my meal my potato’s had bacon in them:( the food was really good otherwise! I would definitely recommend eating outside as the inside is not as fun! Our server was wonderful and very apologetic about the bacon incident.

Named after a renowned ski jumper, the tavern exudes a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patrons to embrace new experiences and connect with others. 5 Stars on a BUSY Saturday night. Carl's did not miss a beat. We walked in during prime time without a reservation and they graciously created a table in the way back. Our server was very attentive and came to take our drink and appetizer orders fairly quickly. Who ever is running this restaurant, the chef and whoever is responsible for ops and the team should win an award. Everyone worked together, things ran smoothly and the all the food we ordered was excellent. We started with the Crispy Brussel Sprout Leaves - MUST HAVE! We then had a Wedge salad, Adult Grilled Cheese and Hamburgers with a great Char and flavor. See pictures of the bar it is quite extensive especially if you love bourbon and whisky - so many choices. I love an old-fashioned and they had so many very interesting options to choose from. Great for families.

Cool tavern setting. Great service at the bar. The food was delicious and it’s not your average bar food. Try the pimento and cheese and get the BLT. They’re delicious. Try a smoked old fashion for me will ya? Great bourbon selection. I’ll be back.

The food was great, the waiter was nice, but they decided to seat us in the very back for the third time. They walked past numerous empty tables (they stayed empty) to seat us against the storage room kinda back. As a local, I definitely won't eat here often. Carl's is now my plan Z...

We went out for dinner at Carl's Sunday evening for my bachelorette party. It was a little busy so getting all of our drinks and orders taken took a little while. Our waitress was friendly and we didn't have a deadline so we were okay with waiting. The cocktails were delicious--I had a lemon drop. We ordered one of the appetizers and it only arrived a few minutes before our dinner. So we wished that had been planned a little better! Most of us had burgers of some kind and the fries were good! We also saw a few massive sundaes being delivered to tables that looked SOOO good. If we had had room for dessert that would have been first on my list. Overall a really good experience with delicious food and great service! 👍

So pictures taken after half the food was gone lol. But honestly this place exceeded all my expectations!!! Food came out super fresh, super fast, staff was handing business in that kitchen. Everything was cooked perfect. I usually always have something I feel could have been better but that was not the case this time. We seated ourselves at the bar are server was Russell! What a stand up guy! Couldn't be happier!!! Thanks to all the staff for making a great time.

Definitely at least 4 stars and possibly goes to 5 when I go back in a couple days. The server I had was great! Provided great service and friendly conversation. The food was solid I think a little high priced, but most things in Steamboat are above average so could be totally normal. I love the bourbon selection but the prices for me were too high. It's a solid place and I will be back and see what happens then.

Food is great here. I’m sorry that I didn’t get pictures of the food. However, the location at the base of the mountain is excellent if you happen to have lodging nearby or want fun/good access for aprés. It attracts locals and tourists, which is sways s good sign. Burgers are delicious and service is friendly. Even though we were there during Presidents Day Weekend we were treated well and responsively. I am certain is not a favorite weekend for staff. Follow the signs and use the QR code for the menu and then order at the bar. It us a chill spot with TVs for sports and not as expensive as most places in Steamboat or other mountain towns.
Gretchen G — Google review
Great pizza and beer ! The payment process is a little weird (food and drinks are paid separately, and there is no table service), but beyond that, it's a fabulous "slope side" place for food and drinks! I'd highly recommend the pizza.
Joe R — Google review
A convenient location for skiers as it's at the base and is ski-in, ski-out, but even for a mountain restaurant it wasn't great. It was overly hectic at lunchtime. The pastrami on the Reuben was super fatty and salty. You have to get up to place your order but they deliver the food to you.
Jeff G — Google review
I can’t comment on the food but this place is right off the slopes. Everyone grabs a plastic chair and sits out on the snow in the sunlight. The drink list is less extensive than other places but it’s nice to grab a beer and chill in the sun after a long day of skiing. Definitely recommend visiting.
Rachel J — Google review
Typical resort food, which would be just average and somewhat pricey for what you get. The one upside and the reason for giving a 4-star rating over a 3-star is the white bean chicken chili, which was amazingly done and just delicious. Overall the food is not bad with good, friendly service, and at a great people/mountain viewing location slopeside. But really, come here for the chili. Oct 2021
James W — Google review
Came here for a late night feed. We ordered the pizza and a salad. The salad was plain and seemed to come out of a packet. The dressing was sweet. Luckily, we didn't come here for the salad. We just felt we needed some healthy food with dinner. The pizza was very good, and the addition of parmesan and chilli flake to it to the next level. From the perfectly cooked base, super tasty sauce, and fresh toppings, the pizza really hit the spot. I know it maybe off season but only having food runners meant you had to do everything yourself from drinks to cutlery, plates, and condiments. This was the only downside for the dinner.

Great burgers! Hans was waiting our table and 20 more. The guy was never slacking. He had amazing recommendations and was super helpful with his knowledge about the menu. The food was really tasty. The burgers were all delicious. The cherry on top was the funnel cake fries. 10/10, would go again.

Great food. Great vibes! My husband had the black mamba burger with sweet potato fries and I had the classic cheeseburger with tater tots. Both were very tasty! Our server was very attentive and friendly. Dog friendly outdoor patio. We went back the next day for one of their 10$ breakfast burritos which were HUGE. We split one and we were stuffed. Heavy on the egg but still delicious.

This is a great place for lunch. I had the triple Lindy which is two burgers 3 pieces of grilled sourdough bread and hand cut fries. Their fry sauce is a bit spicy depending on on the day but always great. The burger is big enough to take some home. There is a upstairs where you can eat if the downstairs is full or if it is your preference. The upstairs stairs tables are further a part less crowded and has a better vibe. Note as you go into the door the back left table has a small widow ac/heater. You cannot see it until you sit down . It doesn’t make much noise but it i makes that table hotter and much colder than the rest of the upstairs. A HUGH shout out to Payton who was our waitress. She was moving wide open serving several tables and yet stopped to give us written directions to the best fall hikes and drives in the area along with suggestions of other restaurants. I have posted a picture of my burger partially deconstructed to give you an idea of its size I would drive out of my way to eat here again.

Never payed so much for a simple cheeseburger only to receive the most bland burger of my life. McDonald’s taste better, and I hate McDonald’s. No flavor in the patty, poorly cooked. My partner ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Received an anemic overcooked chicken breast with 0 discernible flavor. I legitimately cannot believe that this place has this many good reviews, I am sitting here right now in the restaurant as I write my review and nobody around me seems pleased with the food they are getting… See pictures for the “burger” Our server was nice at least. But I don’t want to pay $20 for a horrible burger

This place is a bit of an unexpected gem. We ordered from the take out window twice while in town, and over all loved the food ! If you come here you have to try a burger. They are very tasty and uniquely delicious. For the sides I recommend the sweet potato fries, they were thick, well seasoned, and had a homemade flavor. Their ranch was delectable, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed their carrots with ranch. For dessert my husband loved the gluten free peanut butter cake that comes with ice cream, and the kids and I found the funnel cake fries to be a wonderful balance between a crunchy exterior and a sweet soft interior. We briefly went inside, and the atmosphere inside wasn’t my favorite. It was smaller and loud, but I would recommend utilizing the take out window, and ordering ahead ! As it did take awhile for our order, which was understandable being it was larger.

Aurum Food & Wine Steamboat is a relative newcomer to the dining scene in Steamboat Springs, offering a vibrant seasonal menu and inspired beverages in a picturesque riverfront setting. Located in downtown Steamboat Springs, this chic yet unpretentious restaurant boasts a prime location with an extensive wine list and delectable new American eats like hoisin BBQ duck wings and eight-hour braised short rib with wild mushroom faro risotto.
20/10 absolutely amazing! My boyfriend & I celebrated our Anniversary tonight. Aurum is our favorite restaurant we have ever been to. We were welcomed with champagne, a card & a seat at table #35, right next to the window with a view of the creek & Howelsen Hall. All entrees were 50% off for the off season! Our server Rob G. was so nice & attentive (the manager was great as well!) For dinner, we ordered the Parmesan Truffle Fries, French Onion Burger & Shrimp & Grits, all were delicious! The drinks were outstanding as well. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had the most amazing dining experience here! We were seated upstairs on the patio, the view was absolutely gorgeous. The food was cooked to perfection and our server Cameron was so attentive and kind. Definitely going to recommend this spot to friends and family in the future!
Madison P — Google review
We had the most wonderful anniversary dinner at Aurum Steamboat! They got us seated early and even saved a window seat looking at the river for us. The table had a happy anniversary card signed by the whole staff and they greeted us with champagne on the house. We started with the Parker house rolls which were delicious. My husband got the French onion burger which he loved, bonus points for the salt and vinegar fries, and I got the steak that was delicious. We finished the night off with the most perfect chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful experience at Aurum. Nice fall day, sat outside, live music, great food and cocktails. Highly recommended.

My spouse and I dream of this place all year long! We came when we got married 2 years ago and plan to come back every year! The food has got to be the best food I've ever had time after time. The crispy brussel sprouts are to die for. The service is always phenomenal! we had Cameron this time around and he was just amazing. if you see this review and you're on the fence about coming please come on in, I promise you'll enjoy. thanks so much for another amazing anniversary meal!

We celebrated our engagement with Aurum. Anna made us feel so special and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
Julia W — Google review
We stopped into Arum for some drinks and appetizers. It was empty due to the off season and we were attended by a pleasant waiter. The view of the river is beautiful and the vibe is close to fine dining. Starkly contrasting this was the music, which would have been fitting for a club. It was both unpleasant and ill-fitting for the atmosphere. The food and drinks were fine, but it's hard to focus on anything but the awful music after the fact. We did not try anything beyond the appetizers and drinks. You should give this place a try and maybe bring some earplugs...
Victoria W — Google review
I've been here maybe one million times. The service is always good, but not excellent. That does not detract from their amazing fine dining food, and that atmosphere is one of the best in all of Steamboat. Highly recommend!

Nestled in Steamboat, The Paramount offers a laid-back dining experience with a diverse menu. Whether you're craving classic breakfast dishes like Breakfast Sandwich or Avocado Toast, or something more unique like Chipotle Salmon or Chilaquiles, this locally owned cafe has got you covered. Their scratch kitchen ensures top-notch food presentation and flavor, featuring items such as Egg BLT, stuffed french toast, gourmet grilled cheese, and pulled pork and brie sandwich.
This place is stellar. The food is made to order and huge. It’s all counter service. There are so many food choices. It was hard to choose. The Reuben was messy to eat, but very delicious. The fries were sooo amazing. You can’t beat the views.

Amazing spot for food, coffee and other drinks at the base of the mountain! Their breakfast sandwich should have all other breakfast sandwiches steeping with envy-it’s SO GOOD! Double up with bacon and sausage if you want, both are so good here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Super friendly and helpful staff! We got breakfast here every morning before heading out to ski. Also a great spot for apres ski once you’re ready for that!
Maria B — Google review
The prices are high because of the location. Drink pricing is odd, the latter, coffee and milk are all $5 each? The dish portions are big but the taste is just average.
Alpha — Google review
The three of us just had an amazing breakfast here at the Paramount. Real, honest to goodness food cooked perfectly in an inviting environment. We definitely all appreciated real eggs being used instead of eggbeaters the way that many other restaurants will use. Very flavorful and good size portions. Friendly staff and a great menu. Will definitely be back tomorrow morning for round two.
S W — Google review
My husband and I got coffee here and it wasn’t the best. I got an iced coffee with carmel and oat milk, but the coffee seemed watered down and not very flavorful. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant but I would not get coffee here again. They do have an extensive food menu if interested!
Kayla F — Google review
Super slow food on a Sunday morning in October. Maybe a chef was a no show for shift. Food took 45 mins, very basic two pancakes for $12 + $4 for 2 slices of bacon. Decent food but not worth the cost. Chicken and waffles were yum but very basic. The gravy was garbage and not edible, had a very weird flavor. Maybe just an off day? I’d try it again.
Mitchell P — Google review
Absolutely amazing service. The biscuits and gravy were not the best but everyone was so nice and friendly it didn’t even matter.
Michelle D — Google review
We stayed at the Steamboat Grand and this was my favorite place to eat in the area. We had a breakfast sandwich and burrito one day and a cheese steak sandwich a few days later. All items are filled with flavor and we enjoyed all food items we had. The coffee was very weak one day. We would've asked for a better coffee but we were in a rush. Service was quick for us and workers are friendly.

In addition to their innovative beers, they also serve wood-fired pizzas.
The quality of the food and beer here can’t be compared! We stop by once a year when we visit! Fresh ingredients! Always have a new sour to try. Have to get the skillet cookie a la mode! My kids love the training wheels!

Super friendly staff. I liked the Hoppy Hiker. The pizza is good, and you can enjoy it in a patio gondola with your own bluetooth tunes playing. We stopped on a bike ride down the river, you should check it out as well. A mid day beer always makes the day better!
David S — Google review
Great brewery right in town with a variety of beers. I really enjoy the outside patio area in the summer! We opted for a flight first then ordered the hazy and lager. Only got the popcorn which was tasty but the pizza looks delish! Definitely trying next time I’m in town.

We held a wedding reception here and it was such a perfect esthetic and space for our small party! The weather was nice enough we had the garage door open for indoor and outdoor space, and they let us bring some decorations for the tables and counter space. They were very accommodating and friendly, and the beer and pizza was delicious! Such a fun, low-key atmosphere!! I recommend Mountain Tap for groups and events, or just for the pizza and brews!
Danno H — Google review
Great little spot in Steamboat for beer and pizza! They've got a few long tables, bar, tables in old gondolas, and out door seating. Dogs allowed outdoors only. Their known for the wood fired pizza which was absolutely amazing. We had gotten the spicy salami Calabrese with Calabrian chilis which is a must try. The beer too, Snow Globe Sour was just a perfect match.
James B — Google review
The Pesca Pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had in quite a while. As soon as I saw peaches on it, I immediately knew I needed to try it and it exceeded my high expectations. The cheese sauce was amazing. It was overall a great combination of flavors. I'm not sure their other pizzas could live up to it, but I would absolutely come back to try more!
Jacqueline T — Google review
Ordered some food to-go on the way through town. Very disappointed in the portion sizes. $60 for a mushroom pizza, “char-grilled vegetable salad”, and the beer cheese and bread. Pizza had almost no cheese, salad was almost entirely cheap greens, and beer cheese was watery and bread portion was abysmal. Would not recommend.
Leah S — Google review
Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Came twice in the week we were here. Great service and a wonderful outdoor area. Love music and as set up outside. Great selection of beer, really good appetizers and the pizza was delicious. Just check out the beautiful pizza oven! It’s a great feature in this brewery! Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the pizza. A must stop in if you are in Steamboat Springs.

Apres Burger Bistro is a charming bistro located in Steamboat Springs, offering a carefully curated dinner menu featuring gourmet burgers made with fresh, local ingredients. Open for breakfast and dinner from 4:00 p.m., it's an ideal place to unwind after outdoor activities.
Outstanding burger place that is easy to find and has quick service. I had the peanut butter burger and some of the one with arugula and goat cheese. The peanut butter one was outstanding but almost too strong flavor wise. Burgers were cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese appetizers were both tasty as well. Parking can be a bit tough.

Our last evening in Steamboat and we decided to find a nearby restaurant with a dog-friendly patio. Unfortunately, it was a bit hot but we found the perfect spot of shade in the Aspres Burger Bistro patio. We enjoyed the evening by splitting the Aspres Burger and a garden salad with a few drinks. The waitress was excellent, super friendly and helpful while the food was excellent. We would certainly recommend and return on a future visit.

Interesting bun choice for the "Gourmet" burger joint and the food is just OK. There are indoor and outdoor seating. The location is on the second floor and am not sure if there is an elevator to get up there.

Nice spot in the middle of this resort town. Appetizers were definitely great with some minor opportunity for improvement on the main dishes (slightly overcooked and under seasoned). Staff was very friendly and ambiance was great.

This was a gem we found. We ate there twice and both times I had the Power Salad which was fresh, delicious and juicy. We shared a serving of Sweet Potato Fries which were crunchy and soo good. The atmosphere at Apres Burger is great, the service fantastic and sitting on the patio in the evening sun just added to the summer vibe. What a great place to end a wonderful day of hiking and exploring in the mountains. Highly recommended.

Yampa Valley Kitchen, affectionately known as YVK by locals, is a beloved spot for elevated healthy dining in Colorado. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere with tall white walls, skylights, and lush greenery creates the perfect setting for a leisurely meal or remote work session. Known for its locally sourced produce and meats from Colorado ranches, the menu offers an array of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
Yamp River Kitchen is amazing! We got old fashioneds, focaccia bread and mushroom bisque for happy hour, then ordered beef short ribs, steak au poivre, and a bottle of French wine for dinner, then shared black forest mousse for dessert. OMG, it was ALL SOOO GOOD!!! We ate less than half our entrees, as the servings were very generous, so will enjoy leftovers when we get home. Ciara provided fantastic service, too! Highly recommend!!!

This is the cutest restaurant in steamboat! My family and I sat outside where the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I got the chicken sandwich with a large portion of fries. I personally didn’t feel the flavors on the sandwich went well together, so it wasn’t my favorite dish. All the other members in my group enjoyed their meals though. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Steamboat!
Kayla F — Google review
Ambiance: 9 Service: 9.5 Taste: 8.8 Value: 8.6 Quality: 9.1 Cleanliness: 8.9 Met Expectations: 9.9 Overall: 91/100 Price: $$ YVK, while I'm sure it is stunning for dinner, absolutely rocks as a brunch place. It's well lit and bright, helping even those with the groggiest of starts get a bit of pep in their step. They offer an eclectic menu with some unique offerings, which I appreciate them pushing and seeking for just downright good grub. I ordered the Fernet Mojito along with a London fog. The name Fernet Mojito is no lie, Fernet definitely shines here underscored by the rum, mint, and citrus. It's a refreshing cocktail, plus it has complexity from the herbal liqueur addition. The London fog was good, but I personally didn't appreciate the addition of the rose on top. That was easily fixed, though. I simply plucked it right out (I will note, the menu makes no mention of this addition). For the meal, I had the Blue Suede Shoes Grilled Cheese. It's an excellent example of what a grilled cheese can be. Cheese is included, of course, but then blueberry jam, caramelized onions, and thyme are added in. To top it all of (literally), a very generous parmesan crust with melted in jalapeños. I may never make a grilled cheese ever again without a parmesan crust. The jam was good, but it you order this, I recommend ordering more on the side, I could have used more, anyways. Greasy, cheesy, and a delight for brunch. For the sides I had potatoes and some yuzu pickles. The potatoes are good, nothing to rave about. I personally enjoyed the yuzu pickles. The yuzu wasn't certainly there. Members of my table didn't love them because "they're sweet." Eh, personal preference with that. Overall, a terrific brunch experience was had by my party. There was a dirty water glass on our table, hence the slight docking on cleanliness. If you're in Steamboat, I'd consider this a must try for breakfast or brunch.

Such a cute little place! I really enjoyed my wine and appetizer truffle fries. The ambiance and service was really great. I will say my salad was not very filling and was more aesthetic than anything. The salmon was good though! Would definitely go back it was really cute:)

Potentially the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, cute atmosphere, good truffle fries and the Reuben had a nice twist with kimchi instead of sauerkraut. Nice cute spot!

Excellent place with great food. While it has an elegance that would speak to finer dining we found the actual dining accessible and even had small children they were more than happy to accommodate. Good drinks and good food, would definitely eat again

This place has a very fun and unique menu! I enjoyed trying one of their mocktails ( the orange julia), their pistachio matcha latte and the honey coconut latte ! The food was really good too! We ordered the burgers ! Apart from this the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! Like a beautiful garden.

Cute spot off the main road! The atmosphere was adorable, service was good and so was the food. It took a little long to get to the table, even though it wasn’t busy but we weren’t in a rush. Close to the ski resort lifts. On the highway making road facing rooms are little noisy. The dishwasher isn't attached, many of the fixtures don't operate smoothly (e.g., kitchen faucet is hard to force into a single stream or spray only). Everything is visually nice and quite comfortable.

Dated but great location. Stayed a week. Super dull knives, the trash can is the wrong size for the room so you have to slide it out grossly with your hands to open the lid every time. Tiny detail that has a weird impact on your experience. Body lotion dispenser broken. The body wash and shampoos smell notably different but have the same fragrance on the bottle, so it seems filled with what isnt advertised. Little things like that but a great location. Great playground for kiddos.

What a great visit. Clean room well stocked with the exception of coffee filters and dishwasher detergent. Seems silly to make your guest pay for a 100 count filter box. Otherwise a great place to enjoy Steamboat in the fall. Incredible views of the ski slopes in full aspen color.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite here and it was absolutely amazing. It felt like home. The bathtubs were wonderful. The kitchen has literally every single item that you could need. They have sponges dish soap, pants utensils. You have a full-size kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, topping oven and microwave, toaster oven and coffee and tea maker and blender and pitcher. They have steam rooms pools and Donna‘s which I didn’t get to try. The garages are very convenient and small not a far walk to the room. The environment is very peaceful and quiet. Everything in steamboat closes around 9 PM though so if you’re coming later than that, I’ll recommend that you bring your own food or else you will starve there’s nothing within 40 miles open after nine. Road Mark ✅📱💵 is also very close to Walmart and other supermarkets nearby and a couple of fast food restaurants like Qdoba, Dairy Queen and McDonald’s.

Oh my gosh, this place is SO bad. Staff has been less than helpful. One room had blood on both the comforter and the sheets. We noticed it the 2nd day and called to get replacement bedding. They acted like we were majorly inconveniencing them. It took FOUR calls for someone to bring us bedding. That is beyond unacceptable. Didn’t get clean bedding until after 9pm when we started calling at 12pm that day. Another bed had hair all in it. Makes you think they don’t really change the bedding. This whole experience could’ve been looked at differently if we weren’t treated so poorly by the staff. I absolutely would not recommend this place.

Waited for 15+ minutes to check in. Seemed like maybe a newer crew with a guest complication that was holding things up. Room was spacious. TV in living room and bedroom. Plenty of towels available as well as extra pillows. Bathroom floor and hallway were definitely not swept or not very well (found a pretty visible hairball in bathroom) and the whole hotel room smelled like an old dirty, dusty air filter. We had to go buy an air freshener and have the fan blowing in fresh air from the balcony. Wasn't a pleasant smell and we dealt with it because we were only there for 1 night but a "Karen" would have turned it into an issue. Kitchen area was clean. For the price, I would stay again but wouldn't put up with the smell if it happened again.

Overall our stay over Christmas at the Steamboat Grand was great. Staff, room, and pool/fitness are were all excellent. What was not excellent, and is the reason for my 2 star review, is that I got a bill a couple weeks after my visit from the parking garage where the valet decided to park my car. I was told during my check in to just give the keys to the valet and since my stay was over the Christmas holiday they would be happy to provide the parking for free. When I got the parking fee notice in the mail I called the steamboat grand to see if there was a mixup. I emailed them my parking notice as instructed and they emailed me back to say I didn’t pay for parking with them. When I told them what the front desk said about it being complimentary, they never replied despite me following up 3 times…

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my stay at The Grand Hotel about a month ago was so memorable that I felt it deserved one. The rooms were absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and it made for such a relaxing and luxurious experience. The real standout, though, was the hot tub area. It was the perfect place to unwind, and the setting was just right. What truly made it exceptional was the pool staff. They were friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. Marcus, in particular, went above and beyond, his attention to detail and welcoming attitude made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay, I can’t recommend The Grand Hotel enough. I’m already thinking about when I can go back!

We had an amazing stay here! The rooms were fantastic! So quiet. Plenty of space. Very luxurious! Pool area was excellent as well as was the fitness center! Bigger than many resorts we have been to! The breakfast at the restaurant was also excellent! Can't say enough about it. It was fantastic!

Our condo was really clean and had amazing views of the mountains. The bed was the best I bed slept on. The pillows and sheets as well. It was hard to leave. Also the hot tub is great at night.

All the staff was really nice and helpful, and went out of their way for me. The spare blankets had hairballs in them from previous guests though so that's...not great

We stayed here for the first time since the Grand was closed for remodeling. We will definitely book here again! Our condo was so nice with a full kitchen, patio & fireplace. We loved the steam room. Hopefully the sauna will be fixed when we come back next month!

Excellent overall. We stayed here for a full week (Sat-Sat) in early June 2025. The resort offers 2 outdoor pools, 3 hot tubs, a gameroom, a workout facility, a sauna, steam room, a park, and other outdoor activities. True to Wyndham expectations, it delivered in every sense of our expectations. One thing that really made it stand out to us was the way in which the property was arranged. We have two middle school aged kids and 2 elementary aged kids and we felt comfortable letting them move around the grouds with little supervision because we could see and communicate with them easily because of the grounds setup. We've stayed at other Wyndham properties, and none of them have been setup this way. For example, while I was grilling, I had full sight of the entire grounds where my children could run around. Expect all the amenities you are used to, plus a bit more. Also kind of cool, black bears and moose are abundant in the area, and do make it to the grounds frequently. Although they are wild, and you should always exercise caution, if viewed from a balcony, they are an added bonus. We'll be coming back-- this was a great place and it was close to both local shopping and attractions.

Concierge is loaded with people who do not understand their job. After experiencing a problem, we tried to get in touch with our Concierge and was told he was off for a couple days. The person covering him told us he was new as well and could not help us. We asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager on-site. We would have to wait 2 more days to see our concierge. We went down to see him that day he was supposed to be back but was told he would not be in for a few hours. Rel at the desk asked if she could help. We gave her our issue and she said she would pass it along to Bryce. We are now almost a week past and we have not heard anything. Steamboat is a great town, but this resort does not meet expectations!

Rooms are getting worn out. The wife and I both had backaches from the bed. 2 of the 3 hot tubs were out of service one day. We were in room 100 Bldg 1 and all rooms have steps to access. At high elevation these steps can be hard.

First time I’ve had to pull my bed out of the wall. No AC so summertime is hot hot even with the window open and the stand up fan going. If you need anything after 9 good luck. We had a spill on the bed and were told we would have to go to the club house and could only get a blanket. In a decent location. The indoor pool was broken and the steam room smelled and was filthy. Sauna was nice and so was the outdoor pool.

Steamboat, Springs, it's a very, very beautiful resort. Wyndham , property cutting through the serpentine paths off colorado. Against the backdrop, beautiful mountains, we reached this property late in the evening. The property has 6 buildings, different size bedroom units. Equipped with latest facilities, including the full kitchenette, the laundry. The views from the balcony take you through mesmerising nature, like the rainbow we saw on the day of arrival how where we saw last night from the balcony was an added bonus. The property has 3 Poles too hot tups, steam Sona, a playing Arcade different Quotes for basketball volleyball call hole and kids simply enjoy the sprawling property start at the check-in has a great you attitude. It was a pleasure to interact with Jordon. And Mandy, very, very welcoming the other interesting factors, the lovely coffee And alkaline water, which is kept close to the reception and happy hours. Popcorn from 2 to 5 everyday, we simply found this property very different from other wind have properties today, morning. It was a pleasure to see a hot air balloon up in the skies on waking up on a clear night. You are under a blanket off stars over you. So star gazing is another opportunity, this beautiful property. It is relocated very close to Walmart city market, which you can go easily and procure your needs very, very comfortable for all age groups very well. Maintained property. Will visit again

I booked two nights in June for the Steamboat Gravel bicycle race. I was greeted professionally by Justin at the front desk. We discovered there was a bobble with my room assignment, and he summoned the manager, who was able to solve the problem within an hour. Thank you

It's not one of my favorite resorts as it's a tad dated. However, you can't find many prettier locations. It's located on the edge of town, which some will love.

Legacy Vacation Resorts Steamboat Springs Hilltop is a cozy resort nestled near Routt National Forest, offering picturesque views of Mt. Werner. The fully furnished accommodations can host up to eight guests and include studio lofts, one-bedroom suites, one-bedroom plus lofts, and two-bedrooms. After outdoor adventures, guests can relax by the lobby's warm fire or enjoy the indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Families will appreciate the game room, exercise facility, and onsite laundry.
I love Steamboat Springs! I stayed two nights at Legacy Vacation Resorts, Steamboat Hilltop, and it was a great experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had excellent amenities. The view from the resort was absolutely amazing. The lobby was very welcoming, with a convenient grab-and-go breakfast in the morning. I also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub, as well as the well-equipped fitness center. Parking was easy, and overall the stay was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone visiting Steamboat Springs.

Older facility but overall very nice. Booked a 2 bedroom suite. Clean and spacious. Young man at the front desk was terrible. Uninterested in being helpful. Not friendly or welcoming. He soured what would have been an enjoyable stay. We would stay again but cross our fingers we didn't encounter him again.
David S — Google review
Skip this place. It may have been nice 20 years ago but it is run down. Paint and carpets are faded and stained. "Grab and go breakfast" is pitiful, plain bagels and some cereal. They charge $15 a night to "use the amenities" then the game room all runs on quarters. Needs a serious refresh. I have been in nicer motels. For a "3 star resort" it is pretty sad.
Marc I — Google review
I chose this hotel because the reviews were pretty good, 4 stars on Google with 550+ reviews. I booked the “Guest Room” for three nights. First impressions were… interesting. ❌The road on the way up to the hotel is COVERED in potholes. Very difficult to avoid. ✅The view from the hotel parking lot is pretty! And it is close to town and a couple chain food spots nearby. ❌We waited in the lobby for around 15 min either another guest to check in. Rang the bell after a few minutes— no answer. Called the desk, no one answered the phone. Waited until a man showed up. He was nice and did things as quickly as he could. It seems like they are very understaffed in the evening because he was personally answering every request for guests, which meant the front desk was unattended for 20 min at a time. ✅The lobby area is nice and cozy. ❌When we got our key cards we were immediately unsure about our stay. The hallways were dingy. The carpet had several stains, and the walls and ceilings had water damage. ❌The doors were very hard to open— which meant that every time someone entered or exited their hotel room we could hear it. ❌A nice bonus is that the walls are so thin you can hear almost everything the other rooms are saying. And there are sliding doors attaching hotel rooms together. They have locks but I’d rather just not have a stranger with a door to my room. I probably missed it on the listing online but I would have not booked that room. ✅Something I did like is the QR code they provide on the nightstand, where you could make requests for the room and see amenities etc. ❌Unfortunately after the first use of our sink the water would not drain and a clank could be heard. Maintenance ( meaning the person manning the front desk) helped fix it. There was also a brownish red stain in the bathtub, we were told it was cleaner… hopefully it was. ✅ No bed bugs were found and the beds were cozy. If you’re strapped for cash and don’t mind some discomfort, then I say this is the spot to go. If you’re looking for the place that is being marketed to you as a cozy, clean, lodge… I’d look somewhere else. PS. Give the front desk guy a raise for having to be a one man show!
Julie H — Google review
nice rooms. however they charge 10% credit fee and don’t provide another option to pay so the price is disingenuous. your response is untrue and i don’t appreciate being gas lit. the charge was in your end and is listed on my receipt from your hotel. my bank does not do that.
Wild F — Google review
I really wish they would fix the potholes on the turn into here. Should be on the city but they are gnarly. I had a leak happen in my original room and front desk was understanding of me working from home. However there was some miscommunication between staff and the manager came knocking on my door like the police asking me to vacate and to switch rooms. The rooms themselves are good overall there are dvd players but no DVDs to rent which is kind of a let down. There is a grab and go breakfast starting at 7:30am but the one time I grabbed milk it tasted expired! Gym was nice and bed felt soft. Great views right outside your window as well as you are right by the mountains.
Bogdan Z — Google review
While we had a very negative VRBO experience booking a room at this hotel, Sam the resort manager was amazing and salvaged a horrible situation. He was understanding, polite, and very helpful. Note that the rooms are dated and the upper loft rooms are hot and stuffy, so be cautious about booking those in the summer. I believe they are planning a much needed renovation of those rooms in the next year.
Rachel C — Google review
The hotel itself was actually quite nice, but the service completely ruined the experience. The bathroom fan in my room didn’t work, and despite calling multiple times and being promised a refund on the resort fee, I never received it. Extremely frustrating. Also, the hot tub had hair floating in it. Definitely not what you expect from a place that charges a resort fee in the first place. The kitchen was barely stocked with silverware making it hard to even enjoy a basic meal. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but between the lack of follow-through, cleanliness issues, and poor amenities, I wouldn’t stay here again. Service matters and this place just didn’t deliver.

Would stay again. Front desk management and personnel are super nice and helpful. Breakfast is decent. The cookies in the evening are delicious. I think I ate too many. The hot tubs are hot and very relaxing. Location is great. Shuttle to slopes is timely and frequent. My only complaint is beds could be a bit softer. The pillows are great though.

I haven't been wowed staying at a hotel for a while. All of the staff is amazing. My husband and I forgot our toiletry bag and of course realized it right before bed. They had all of our needs at the front desk free of charge. And if that wasn't enough the brough extra pillows and blankets. Super accommodating and clean. I wish I could rate them higher than a 5 star. They deserve it! Update: stayed here again this weekend and Tammy, the front desk gal was amazing. She helped take good care of us.

Nice friendly staff, enjoyed the stay and appreciated breakfast being readily available. Room was quiet and comfortable. An unusual hotel layout for rooms on the 3rd floor - there is an individual stairwell for each room-- no elevator. It was hard to climb the additional flight of stairs to get to the room after a long day of hiking. Not a major problem just something to be aware of.

I’ve stayed here before and loved the location, staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Hilton properties are always nice to stay at but this stay was made extra special thanks to Charlie. I had a rough drive up from Denver only to find out I forgot my license :( The first room I was in faced the parking lot on ground level, which wasn’t ideal for a single woman. I asked if there was another room to be moved to and without hesitation Charlie gave me a room on the third floor. IT. IS. BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for the great service.

I was here for work, but I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are quite nice and have all the amenities you would want. Their breakfast was quite good. The hotel is a little bit further than most from the ski runs, but it doesn't matter as it looked like there's a shuttle you could take, and in steamboat you can't really be all that far from the resort at any given location. There's some great dining in town as well! All said it was an enjoyable visit and a comfortable hotel.
Joseph P — Google review
Arrival experience was great at the hotel, the room was clean and neat. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. The decor in the hotel is not the most up to date but again it's clean, neat and well kept. Free breakfast was one of the best one's I've had at a Hampton Inn. Selection was great. The location is great for exploring the town and if you are going to be doing any thing downtown it's super easy to get to and from this place, by car or even walking. There's some great access to trails and roads right from the front door of the hotel. If you are here for skiing they are all setup to allow a boot/ski area in the hotel.
Mike G — Google review
This hotel has a decent location, but is extremely loud. You can hear everything in the hall and outside. The beds are mediocre and our room was not very clean- soap stuck to side of tub. The breakfast was borderline inedible, unless it was pre-packaged. The front desk staff was nice, but man this hotel needs help. I stay in hotels quite frequently and this hotel gets a hard pass.
Philip G — Google review
The location is good as far as being close to downtown. We were surprised how small our room was for the $100.00 plus we paid per night! The bathroom was so small that the door barely missed the toilet when you opened and closed it and there was hardly any room to move around in the guestroom itself. I guess you only get a refrigerator and microwave if you stay in a suite. The bed was very comfortable. Oh one more thing, the train tracks are right by the hotel so be prepared to be woken up when it blows it's whistle at 2am!

Snow Bowl Steamboat is a popular bowling center that has been a local favorite since 1977 and was recently renovated in 2019. The facility boasts 12 lanes, arcade games, a restaurant, and bar with frequent live music performances. Additionally, it features an expansive dog-friendly patio area. Visitors have praised the venue for its accommodating staff and delicious food, particularly the wings.
Our family of five are visiting from Florida and wanted to enjoy a family night out with our adult sons. From the moment I called, Aurelia was so friendly and welcoming. We made a reservation about a week before, but we’re not going to be able to make it on time… Aurelia was very polite and let us know it was not a problem to change our time. When we arrived She greeted us like old friends and got us set up in a lane and fit for shoes. She explained how everything worked with ordering food. Aurelia also let us know that if we were not able to use the entire hour and a half that they would be happy to prorate (This had to do with catching the bus back to town) Meredith our waitress was equally friendly and welcoming and stayed on top of things for us!The loaded bowl of fries Was fantastic! I would highly recommend SNOWBOWL and there friendly staff when visiting Steamboat! We will definitely be back next year 👍🩵

Snow Bowl is an awesome place to hang out! The environment is welcoming and full of good vibes from the moment you walk in. The food is fantastic – way better than you’d expect at a bowling alley, with great options for everyone. The bowling is fun and well-maintained, perfect for both casual games and competitive rounds. What really makes it stand out is the outdoor area – there’s always something going on outside, whether it’s live music, games, or just a cool space to relax. Snow Bowl is a great spot for friends, families, or even date night. Highly recommend checking it out!”

My wife and I were their first Sunday ticket customers of the new expanded hours and were treated like family. Marcus made us some amazing Bloody Mary's to get us started. Soon to follow were some delicious eats which were surprisingly well presented, something you would not expect from a bowling alley. Joel, Sean and Marcus were super fun to hang with and very accommodating on changing games on the multiple TV's. We hung out all day drinking buckets of beer and watched the crowd continually grow as league play started and they continued to treate all guests like family. What a great crew of employees Joel has assembled. If you're looking for a place to watch NFL on Sunday mornings while in Steamboat then look no further. You'll surely feel like your among fans having a great time. Cheers to Marcus, Joel and Sean, true ambassadors of Colorado hospitality.

I had my bachelorette party here and let me tell you.... AMAZING. The attention to detail, planning and how they really cater to your needs was 5 stars! Tony and Shaun and the staff really made sure my girls and I were taken care of-- they even asked us what music we liked and made sure our jams were loud! Thank you guys so much for making it so fun!

My son and mother stopped by Snow Bowl for a quick game, not realizing they were closing early that night - we only had 45 minutes to play. Instead of turning us away, the entire staff treated us with incredible kindness. They not only got us set up with a game but provided excellent service throughout. Having worked in service myself, I know how tempting it can be to wind down operations early or rush last-minute customers. But Sean, Tony, Crystal, and the whole crew went above and beyond. They made us feel genuinely welcome rather than like an inconvenience. The experience was so great that we'll probably be back this weekend (fair warning!). Thank you for showing us what exceptional customer service looks like.

The bowling was fine. Just check to know the price that day. For any parents, I would forewarn you that the music playing when we were there was not family friendly. If I’d had my kids with me, we would not have stayed. I would check the music before paying for bowling.

The Steamboat Hotel in Steamboat Springs is a simple 2-star property with basic rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a hot tub. It's conveniently located within walking distance of attractions like the Preview Ski Lift and Rocky Mountain Day Spa. The hotel offers friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds, and basic amenities. Guests can enjoy the refreshing cold lemon and cucumber water in the lobby and relax in the clean pool or large hot tub.
I spent three nights here and found it very enjoyable! My greeting was very nice when I checked in my room was very clean and modern. It is conveniently located with just a short drive to free parking at the resort. There are many great options for dinner downtown which is also a short drive. And bring your suit for a dip in one of the two hot springs that are close by. I definitely plan on returning next season

I stayed at The Steamboat Hotel for two days at the end of July. The Hotel is not fancy but it is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small but it is clean and the water pressure is good. It has a refrigerator and microwave. The Hotel is very pleasant and cozy. I met three front desk clerks. One was very nice, one was dismissive and the other was rude and quite sad looking. There is a nice clean pool. The Hotel is conveniently located very close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, hiking and other attractions. All in all a very nice hotel. Perfect for folks on a budget looking for a decent place to stay.

We got a room at this hotel for the night because we are traveling with our dog. The hotel advertises itself as pet friendly. We have stayed n other pet friendly places that are very well cared for, but this place was not. The room was horrible. It smelled bad. It was in the basement of the hotel with a view of the surface of the parking lot. There was no reading lamp, an uncomfortable bed and no place to sit. Additionally, the carpet was filthy. When I complained about the condition of the room, the clerk was dismissive and told me to stay someplace else. Terrible place. If I could give it a zero star rating, I would.
Charity E — Google review
This place really surprised me. Yeah, the rooms are a little small and dated, but everything was super clean and they had some nice little details... like shampoo/body wash dispensers in the shower instead of wasteful little bottles and a black makeup towel so I don't get mascara on the nice white towels. It's not too far away from downtown, only about two miles. Overall, a really nice stay and would definitely come back.
Anna S — Google review
The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable with very nice linens and pillows. The amenities were somewhat basic but very welcoming. The cold lemon and cucumber water in the lobby was a very refreshing treat to fill water bottles with! The pool was clean and small but nice, and the hot tub was large and very relaxing (although it was sudsy from over-use of cleaning products/chlorine). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a very affordable and nice hotel for a stay in Steamboat, would definitely recommend!
Anna M — Google review
Reception and staff are amazingly friendly. We came up in the off season when everyone is angry that they are not on break, but they were still friendly as an old family friend. Decent clean rooms. No views on the second floor rear. The TV in my room was broken, but other than that it was a nice stay for the price. Why pay $50 per night extra for a continental breakfast when I usually get a coffee which was included in the room. Nice little fridge too! Quiet is what I like when I travel and it was lovely.
Customer S — Google review
Great bang for your buck! Came up on a busy weekend. Rates were great. Front desk had tooth brushes (I forgot mine) and a cork screw for opening a bottle of wine. Hot tub was open (needed to make reservations) and the room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very happy with the choice to stay here.
Madisson D — Google review
Horrible service. They put us in the room in the stairwell so all night long was filled with ski boots clunking up the stairs and the bed is so soft/old/used my girlfriend and I both sink into the middle. Needless to say we got little to no sleep. When I asked if we could changes rooms I got the run around about it was too late, no availability, and they’d charge me a full other night of $170+ tax to be moved to the “upgraded” rooms in the back building. Some excuse about not having cleaning staff around to turn any rooms which is ridiculous. Also, the WiFi is unusable which is horrible since the service in the area isn’t very good.

So glad we came across this hotel on our stop in steamboat springs. Hotel was clean, the location was great, but the staff were excellent! Blake at the front desk was so kind and helpful getting us checked in and the women who made us 3 iced coffees at breakfast went above and beyond. Both of them made our experience that much better. I would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to the area.

Well located property, very clean. Rooms extremely well designed with plenty of space and comfort. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, freshly cooked eggs, meats, potatoes, waffles etc. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property. Staff was extremely nice. Though we didn't use it, I think the hotel was on the free steamboat bus route- with easy service to downtown steamboat or pickleball/ tennis facilities which we did enjoy!. Smaller pool to cool off in, barbecue grill on premise for your cooking needs, and in room mini kitchen. You just can't go wrong.

Great property! Spacious rooms, great breakfast, very nice lobby and bar. Outdoor pool and hot tub were well used. The breakfast service team was awesome both days we were there. Very nice well equipped exercise room but when I tried to report to the young lady at the front desk that one bikes needed repair attention, she didn’t seem to understand. The young front desk dude during the day needs to understand that it is not a good look to be sitting at the front desk with AirPods in and looking continually at his phone.

We love Steamboat Springs and this was a good hotel to stay at. I love the Residence Inn. Wish the outside spaces were roomier along with larger pool area but these are small complaints. Would definitely stay there again. Other odd issue, you cannot review on your stay on the Marriott site unless they send you a request. I think all stays should be reviewed.

Nice hotel and friendly staff! Our room could’ve used a little touch up (broken window screen, our door lock worked very inconsistently, as well as some other areas of small damage). The complimentary breakfast options were good and all the breakfast attendants were super friendly. It was in nice proximity to a supermarket and having the kitchenette was nice for making some meals in. Wish we could have rented a bike as it was close to lots of trails!

Beautiful and immaculate rooms with full kitchen (huge benefit). 4th floor even-numbered rooms have a view of the mountains. Beautiful common area with a top shelf bar. Nice breakfast spread with very friendly attendants. Clean and functional guest laundry. Decent pantry. Seemed to be bike rentals, but I didn't use them. Walking distance to Safeway, Starbucks, several nice restaurants, bus stop, etc. Adequate gym for cardio and strength, but no sanitary wipes, broken water dispenser, and leaky ceiling. The pool is small but nice. There seemed to be a lot of staff changeover. There was a different front desk attendant each of 5 days. Several different bartenders. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I appreciate some continuity, and I didn't find the front desk staff friendly or welcoming. None of the exterior badge readers worked (we walked in after midnight two times), nor did the elevator reader, so the hotel was just "open". It's a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. I'll stay again. I can't rate it 5/5 because it's not hard to be friendly to guests.

We loved our stay at residence inn in Steamboat! It was just my boyfriend and I, and we had a mountain view room. It was nice with all the casual amenities you could need! We also brought bikes & we were able to easily store them in the downstairs storage. This place is also pet friendly which is cool!! Right by a river and the ski resort, & downtown are both just 5 mins up the road.

This hotel is the worst Marriott I have been to in a long time. Toilette water refill does not work even after maintenance "repairs ". The noise level of the AC is totally unacceptable. Nobody can sleep with such noise. If you open the windows, the noise of the hotel AC is terribly loud. Pillows are. Ot very good and too soft. The shower is nice but the amount of water that comes is way too little. This is not an energy saver. Very dissatisfied after 26 years Bonvoy membership

What a holiday. What a hotel. And above all: What service! A treat from the start to the last minute. It was sublime in one word. Special and grateful compliment to Tucker. Never before have I met such a friendly, diligent and talented young man in this industry. A treasure for every hotel.

Mayo Thompson is so awesome at the front desk at the Lodge. Her attentiveness and friendliness made our vacation even more better. The rest of the staff is great as well. Rebecca the General Manager keeps the entire property a first class lodging experience

Rented a 3 bedroom/6 person condo for the weekend for about $2000. We were told on arrival that there is now only 1 parking spot per unit. This has never been the case in two previous years and was a surprise. Zero help from the front desk. Please tell me what vehicle can carpool 6 people and all their ski gear to satisfy this bogus policy. Very poor policy and very poor management.

The lodge is located about 5 minutes away from the gondola, which was amazing. We had a 2-bedroom apartment that was well-equipped and had an amazing view of the mountains. The beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet. There is a convenient store a few minutes away. We were on the third floor, so we did not bring our stroller up, but it all worked out.

⭐ 1-Star Review ⭐ Absolutely horrible experience with Vacasa and their reckless driver. One of their employees hit my parked car at a local grocery store, broke my taillight, damaged my bumper, and then just drove off—without stopping, without taking responsibility. Two witnesses saw the whole thing, and I filed a police report, yet Vacasa has refused to accept any responsibility. Instead, they’ve stonewalled, delayed, and completely ignored doing the right thing. This is a big corporation that clearly doesn’t care about locals or holding their employees accountable. If this is how they treat the community, I’d be extremely concerned for any renters relying on them for transportation. If their drivers are this careless and their management refuses to take responsibility, how can anyone trust them? Stay far away from this company unless you want to deal with corporate indifference, terrible customer service, and a complete lack of integrity.

Horrible rude representatives over the phone they only care about their homeowners getting their money. They don't care if you have an emergency and can't make it they will still charge you. Location is in the middle of no where and you have to drive hours to your other destinations. Not a place for children it's more for older couples

Great option for a mountain getaway! Spacious 2 bedroom condo is perfect for a small family.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The snow was epic (see pictures taken from main room and patio). We were in a corner unit with a good amount of vehicle and foot traffic to the slopes, but the bedrooms had fans stored in the closets so it really didn't disturb our sleep. Speaking of which, the beds were comfortable, as well. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms are definitely a little dated, but served our needs. The indoor hot tub was well kept and was awesome after a day of snowmobiling. Our covered parking spot was close to our rooms, as well, and there was always a spot available. I would definitely stay here again.

Nestled in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Steamboat Mountain Lodge offers a comfortable and casual stay for travelers. The hotel provides modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast buffet. Guests can choose rooms with views of either the Yampa river wetlands or the Steamboat Ski mountains. The location is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet still within easy reach via a free shuttle to the resort.
The staff is the best. They were very friendly and helpful. Every time we asked them for something, they were happy to help. The rooms are basic but clean. We had a couple minor maintenance issues but they were handled. The parking lot is not very trailer friendly so plan ahead. They have a decent breakfast. The all day coffee bar is wonderful. We have stayed here several times and will stay again next snow mobile season.

It is a few miles east from downtown, which is perfect for those of us who love the peace and quiet of the country setting. The views from the back deck are awesome. This location has the mountain feel because of the trees. The hotel itself is situated a few hundred feet off the highway which drowns out the traffic noise. The rooms are very quiet. I can actually get a good night's rest because the hallway carpet is thick and padded. The room is perfect for most people, not only in size and layout, but also in modern conveniences. This is one location that is on my list for future stays if I ever visit Steamboat Springs again.

We stayed in a double queen room, which was nice. I didn't care for the mattress, but I don't like any mattresses in hotels, so no stars deducted for that. The bathroom had a dispenser in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; the conditioner one didn't work. The breakfast didn't have a lot of gluten free options, but the overall selection was fine. The tea varieties were nice. We did not use the on-site hot tub, but it looked inviting.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and its sister property. Each time is more lovely than the last. Everything was impeccably clean in our rooms and the property, and the staff was enforcing COVID protocols. Most importantly all of the staff I encounter on my stats is so friendly and professional. I don’t think I ever want to stay somewhere else. Also, I never write a review, but this is well deserved.

Great stay! The Jamaican guy working the front in the evening was really nice and friendly. The house keeping staff were all smiles and the room itself was plenty good for the price. Nothing to complain about at all, and don't forget the hot tub and breakfast. Also, real coffee!

The staff were great, rooms were clean. Hot tubs warm, and the pool relaxing. Parking can become a challenge if you leave later at night, but it is a quaint motel. The breakfast is fairly good with lots of choices.

This was a wonderful hotel for the price. The rooms were clean and updated, and the beds were quite comfortable. The hot tub looked nice, although I never used it with all the hot springs around, and they gave us access to the large pool at their sister hotel next door. Breakfast was nice, and the dining area was attractive with a nice porch with a view. We would definitely stay here again.
Megan M — Google review
I loved it. The room was nice and clean, not noticing a bothering smell or any uncleaned spots. The bathroom was especially awesome. It's much better than one at home. Also, the breakfast was very favorable. They had a lot of food and drinks that we were surprised at first. Overall, this place is awesome.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Steamboat Springs is a laid-back hotel with an indoor pool and scenic mountain views. It's conveniently located in the business district, just 4.1 km from Old Town Hot Springs Fitness Center. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast during their stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some featuring amenities like electric fireplaces and spacious spa tubs.
The two day stay with my family was nice and comfortable overall. Room was clean and presentable upon arrival and no big issues during stay. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful the entire time. The only issue I had, was the lack of a functioning exhaust vent in the bathroom. I would have had to keep the bathroom door open to prevent the use of the shower from turning it into a steam room.

We ended up staying here because of a closure on I-70 and was an unplanned stay. The rooms were clean and nice. Their breakfast was good and had a few hot and cold options. The woman running the breakfast area was very helpful and did her job of cleaning and preparing extremely well. The pool is small but kept up well. The hot tub is spacious and much larger in comparison to the pool. There was construction out on the road in front of the hotel but it didn't seem to impact the hotel in any way. We took the last room for the night so it was full and you could not tell in the morning at breakfast as there was plenty of space to eat. I recommend staying here as the price was reasonable for the area. You are a short drive (1-2 miles) from down town, but it is a quick drive and the price you could not go wrong with for staying in Steamboat.

We booked an overnight when visiting steamboat springs. We were upgraded to a king spa room, which comes with an electric fireplace. The room was spacious. The check-in was easy and the front desk guy was very helpful. Parking is complimentary which was nice. The only negative we experienced was the shower shampoo and conditioner was completely empty and the conditioner bottle had conditioner down the front like it wasn't cleaned off from previous guest. All other aspects of the room was clean.

We had a truly lovely experience here. Right of the staff was superb and extremely helpful, especially Melinda. The complimentary breakfast is the biggest and nicest I've ever seen with something for everyone including eggs, omelets, bacon, fresh cantaloupe, etc. The room was great, bed super comfortable with tons of pillows and a well-thought out space. The pool and hot tub weren't ever crowded and we came in the middle of ski season. Great recs for food and we had pizza delivered to our door! Looking forward to staying here again soon.

Perfect location for Steamboat Balloon Festival! We walked to morning festival and didn’t have to mess with shuttle. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was well stocked and had lots of options. Free parking, popcorn, lemonade, and coffee all day. It was all nice. The only thing I’d hope for is warmer pool but it was nice and clean.
Lauren R — Google review
For the price, it's hard to beat this hotel. Everything looks new, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is tasty, and the location is good. We decided to spend the extra $15 and get a room with a whirlpool spa. That made all the difference between a good stay and a great one. We will stay here on our next visit to Steamboat Springs.

Western Lodge in Steamboat offers a laid-back and pet-friendly environment, welcoming dogs only. The rooms feature a vintage '70s cowboy style with basic amenities like microwaves and minifridges, perfect for budget-conscious travelers. Despite the initial unassuming exterior, the Swiss couple owners maintain clean and well-kept rooms, creating a nostalgic charm. The recent change in ownership has led to renovated rooms that are comfortable and inviting, making it a suitable choice for business or leisure stays.
We were stuck without a room, and had called EVERY hotel in town. We got a hold of Tammy, and she drove all the way from Craig (30+ miles) at 10 pm to check us into her last room. We walked into our room, and they are BEAUTIFUL!!! completely remodeled, clean, and modern looking. The beds are super comfortable, and we slept very well! I highly recommend staying here!
Jodi B — Google review
While the exterior has an old fashioned look, (the landscaping needs a refresh) the rooms have all been very nicely remodeled. Everything was clean and up to date. Beds were comfortable, and even though the lodge is located on a busy street, it was comfortably quiet inside. We did end up with probably the smallest room, but the owner let us know that the west wing and the upper floor rooms, as well as #4 and #1 were very spacious (we saw #4 and it was!) The best part about the lodge was the location. The river and river walk was across the street and down one block and there were many great restaurants, a great coffee shop, bars and shops all within walking distance. The Strawberry Park hot springs were not far or the Fish Creek falls and plenty of hikes were all very convenient. The owner and her staff were all very nice and helpful. We already have plans to go back.

Great place to stay in Steamboat! Love the style, comfortable bed and remodeled shower. The staff was exceptionally kind and gave us multiple suggestions for things to do. What made the stay for us was that they are dog friendly. Will definitely be staying again!
Marci K — Google review
I will be honest, at first I was thinking old run down hotel, but then I got checked in and seen my room. They really did an amazing job on the renovations and bringing a more modern look to their rooms, and the HVAC (heating/cooling) system in my room was wonderful. The tiled shower with rainfall style shower head, plus amazing water pressure was amazing! It is located at the edge of town, but there was a great bar and grill next door and very good little bakery for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I should travel in that direction ever again!

OMG! This place is the absolute Best in all three categories!! And Obviously they have a passion to make your experience the absolute Best! 1)Rooms have been remolded in ‘24! It shows, clean and well done!! This place was built in the ‘40’s and takes you back in time with all the latest amenities! 2) The ladies all are incredibly nice and so accommodating. Very personable and caring to see you have a good stay! 3) Can’t say enough about the location!! Away from the hustle bustle up the street! And ——the restaurants, shops all so close are w/in walking distance! We went to the bakery across the street for breakfast both days. Pls cross at the cross walk. Excellent coffee, quiche and muffins! For dinner two restaurants for fine dining are Laundry and Pinerose just 4 minute walk away! Parking is great! Just outside the door. No need to drive anywhere. Just like the ol days! . The shower is great! Rooms are clean! Cool in July! No carpet to deal with and beds are comfortable! What else could you ask for? My wife and I will be back!

Situated near the Yampa River Botanic Park and Old Town Hot Springs, it provides easy access to city attractions and natural beauty. The lodge features an outdoor pool, hot tubs, concierge services, and an arcade/game room.
Stayed a couple days had a great pool and a few hot tubs. Love the robes in the room with a nice kitchen area and laundry. Great views.

This place could have amazing potential but the customer service and cleanliness is atrocious. Spent hours to no avail dealing with talking to anyone helpful when our flight was canceled and we missed two days of our reservation- none of it refunded - and when we arrived, there were garbage bins unemptied, full of used tampons and wads of hair. When I complained to front desk as we got there, running out to get a few groceries, nothing was cleaned up when we came back even though we told the front desk. Hours later I had to clean up all the garbage from the prior tenants. And hours after reporting it to Vacasa it’s still sitting outside our condo where I put it. The men’s locker room key wasn’t working so when we went to explore the fitness and game rooms, there were grumpy men in towels sitting in the hallway locked out. This place is a money trap. Service is horrendous. Would not return and do not recommend.

I wish I could leave 0 stars on this place. My husband and I booked our anniversary trip and chose this hotel. We used Expedia and paid for the travel insurance because we do have children. Of course, the day before my daughter woke up having trouble breathing and was rushed to the ER. We decided we could no longer leave and risk our other children getting sick or leave our sick child in case she had to be rushed back to the ER again. We begged for even a credit and they will not do anything. 4 nights paid for completely gone. You can’t even get anyone on the phone. Expedia pushed and pushed and they will not budge. I even reached out to Vacasa who is over their bookings and they refused to help. Beware that if you book this place and an emergency comes up it will be a total loss.
Bailey M — Google review
Do not book Trailhead Lodge until they get a better property manager. Not Vacasa. I booked Trailhead Lodge apt 3110 and was very excited for our stay in less than a week. But I noticed when I downloaded their app that they said no extra children. I booked for 2 adults and we have a 4 year old, so booking a one bedroom apt seemed perfect for us. But when I called to make sure this was ok, they told me no - my four year old wasn’t allowed. I spoke to someone from Vacasa named Joanne who told me to contact the third-party booking app I used and tell them that they would be unable to accommodate us and I should get a full refund. But they denied my request that the third party app made. After countless back and forth messages and phone calls - my third party app rep took pity on me bc I was in tears from the stress and frustration and called Vacasa who maybe agreed to find an apt that could accommodate my 4 year old and would be in touch. I honestly doubt that I’ll hear anything. What really gets me is knowing that they can get away with this. Now I’m 5 days away from a booked vacation with no where to stay bc they won’t let a toddler in the room with us and won’t refund our money. I’ll quote another reviewer: Do NOT book with these thieves who try to offload their poor policies on other companies.
D D — Google review
Very poor Customer Service. One wash cloth knowing 2 were staying. Clerk "couldn't" find anymore. Wouldn't take from an unoccupied room. Portable cooling unit. No way to run and sleep, blocked off balcony.

We have stayed at this resorts 4 times and in January we stayed there 6 nights and got my ski stolen out of their storage area. The room was great but getting any help with my skis was an issues. I was told 4 times a manger would come talk to us but never did. I paid for a lift ticket that didn’t use because of my ski were stolen out of their storage area. What I hate the most I was told by the staff that ski are not allowed in the room and when they came us missing they asked me to file it on my issuance. I have recommended this resort to other but moving on to other places in Steamboat that care about the people that stay at there resort. If you can’t trust your belongs are safe on there watch why spend your money there.
Andrew W — Google review
The rooms are very nice and clean. The amenities (salt water lap pool, large hot tub, game room...) and location (just below the base of the mountain with easy access to dining, shopping and recreation) are great. The staff is a little rough, and there aren't any services provided (you toss your own garbage, and you can only have two room keys). The view from this 5th floor room, looking south, is really quite nice once you look past the neighborhood below. I honestly wouldn't want a north or west facing room. I would highly recommend this property in the summer and winter because it has A/C (very rare in Steamboat) and has a private gondola to the ski mountain in the winter.
Mollie R — Google review
We checked into our unit and tried to take a shower after skiing all day, but there was no hot water. We called the front desk and the concierge told us that this was typical for this time of day (4pm) and that the water would be hot “around 7pm”. The concierge told us to take a hot shower in the locker rooms instead, which is wild recommendation. So let it be known, you will NOT have hot water in your unit during the middle of the day, and that they will do nothing for you except to say “use the locker room”. 1 star service, DO NOT BOOK HERE.

We (4 couples) stayed in unit A201 from 01/19/24 to 01/26/24 and had fabulous time. The condo unit was spacious, comfortable and clean. Beautiful views from the wrap around balconies and windows. Walking distance to skiing at the base of the mountain, large hot tub we enjoyed daily, and free transportation to anywhere around town. The skiing was amazing too! I definitely want to come back and stay at the beautiful condominium.

We were in a 3bed 3 bath condo. The location is spectacular, only a few mins walk to the base gondola. There is a shuttle bus every 5-10 mins that is also convenient. Parking was included too (1 spot for the room and a lot that is first come first serve). There was a grill on the balcony and a heated pool and hot tubs. We loved it!

The unit (201) we stayed in slept up to 8. It was spacious and nice but in ill repair. Kitchen floor in front of the frig was taped with clear tape. Kitchen cabinet handles were not attached at top an bottom so were loose and hanging. The thermostat in the bedroom near the front door didn't work. We had it off and it was still.putting out heat on a warm day. The bathroom door, in that bedroom, wouldn't stay latched and slowly swing open. There was only one hand towel in each bathroom.

Loved it so much, looking to buy! This was the perfect condo for our family. Clean and well stocked. Quiet. Property amenities were excellent. The gym was small but had great equipment. The hot tub was hot and perfect after a long day of skiing to rejuvenate your sore muscles. The ski lockers and heated garage were a bonus. But the best part of the rental was the free shuttle from the front condo circle to anywhere you want to go! Runs every 10 minutes and the drivers are great. Vacasa made our trip planning easy with excellent reservation communication, easy check in/out and responsive front desk to all our questions.

Well stocked, very clean. Gorgeous views from the balcony and all windows. Easy walk to the base area. We loved every bit of our stay. The pool and hot tub were welcoming after a long day and never crowded. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the shuttle service was quick and easy. We'd love to stay here again.

We recently stayed in B302 and had a wonderful experience. The location to the ski slopes is fantastic. The condo is bright and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Ptarmigan House by Vacasa is a modern resort hotel with an important location. The architecture of the hotel is eye-catching and makes everyone from locals to foreigners feel comfortable and convenient. The high quality services and amenities make Ptarmigan House an ideal place to stay for anyone looking for a great vacation experience.
Great location just a very short walk to the slopes. Still very quiet though. Restaurants nearby (probably avoid Gravity Haus/White Rabbit, but Wild Plum is a great option just a short walk away, as is Apres for a delicious burger). Nice, clean, spacious accommodations for the price. The service is what really stands out though. The two gentlemen at the desk were incredibly friendly and helpful and made for a very pleasant experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for 2025 Steamboat Musicfest. To start, the location is pretty much unbeatable. Zero transportation to get anywhere on the mountain with very minimal walking. The room was nice, although a little dated. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Hot tub was a good size and showers can get super hot. Would stay again for sure!!!

Don’t stay here the rental company will just cancel on you. After it happened to us we read several Reddit comments about this company. The Reddit reviews stated this is a very common practice, by claiming “the owner” wants it the week you have reserved. I assume they are wanting to rent it out at a higher rate. STAY AWAY FROM Vacasa. Follow-up: The below post from the owner states conflicting information. The notice I got from them for the reason of the cancellation was that the owner wanted to stay in the condo the week we had reserved. The post below stated they can no longer safely host guests... so which one is the real reason???

Overall very happy with our stay. The room was clean, full kitchen, and underground parking space. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heat worked great. Negatives: the shower smelled weird and the fireplace didn't work. However, the location was amazing - not really a ski in/ski out as there was a short walk but certainly not too terrible. I would absolutely stay again.

I'm a local real estate broker and I recently had a listing at Ptarmigan House. This is a great complex with killer ski in ski out location. Situated right at the base area, walking to restaurants and shopping couldn't be easier. The complex has a great feel with great owners and hands on management with Vacasa. It's like a family at Ptarmigan House, and when you're a guest here you are welcomed into the family too. Amenities include an outdoor hot tub, parking garage, on site check in and business center, shuttle service. The newly updated Gravity Haus is right across the street so happy hour or grabbing a bite to eat is as easy as walking across the parking lot.

Loved staying here for my winter vacation, cannot wait until next ski season to do it all over again. Beautiful condo, everything you need to cook full meals, even a crock pot. Two bathrooms and beautiful views, at the base and walking distance to the gondola, ski shop, a courtesy can to go shopping downtown or the grocery store. All of the front desk people were so pleasant and accommodating. Parking is included covered or not. Elevators for those in need. And a full service bar and restaurant. I will return and begging friends.. Thank you for a most enjoyable vacation

We booked room 30 from this location when we arrived it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Carpets needed vacuumed, the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded, master closet was full of stuff we didn’t have room for our stuff, floors were not very clean, fridge had food left in it. Very upsetting for the price we paid. This unit needs some updating. Showers leaks out the door, master tube needs sealed huge crack around tube, bedding was stained. Only plus side was location.
Eva A — Google review
Location is hard to beat. We've stayed at Ptarmigan House for 5+ years, but recently rental management was turned over to Vacasa. In our experience that was a downgrade. The shuttle was less reliable and the unit we rented was not up to snuff. Multiple appliances (fridge, dishwasher, ice maker) were out of order and labeled as such (suggesting these were not new issues). We did get a partial refund for the inconvenience but we will probably explore other options when we book our next trip.

Great experience at this store every time! Really unique collection of skate gear and brands, anything you’d need for smoking/vapes, and tons of goodies in between. If you’re lucky, there will be some cute dogs working there too. Go support a rock solid local business.

Miss being able to come in anytime and browse since I’ve moved to summit, but Luke always keeps the goods in stock and is always so helpful. Steamboat is lucky to have such a cool Shop in town.
Caroline V — Google review
East West is an awesome shop to have in steamboat. It’s a fun atmosphere and they carry everything from all your skating needs to stylish threads and smoking lamps. Highly recommend checking it out
Keegan H — Google review
Love Love Love this place. The customer service alone will bring me back :) really good selection of glass & wraps, and especially the mix of new & retro merch in this shop ! Can't wait to come back :] glad I finally found a good smoke shop in town
Jordyn G — Google review
Consistently welcoming and knowledgeable staff. There’s just a little bit of everything in this shop, and a lot of things that similar shops in town do not provide. The most upbeat and cozy smoke and skate shop in all of town hands down.

Pet groomer
Steamboat Dog Spa is a full-service grooming salon dedicated to the well-being of your furry friend. The experienced groomers use natural shampoos and specialized conditioners tailored to your dog's individual coat and skin type. Customers have praised the courteous and professional service, as well as the extra care taken with first-time grooming experiences. The spa also offers convenient curb-side pick up and delivery, making it a top choice for both locals and travelers passing through Steamboat.
So if anyone doesn't no ? I'm the only groomer at this spa I do over 50 dogs a week . If I'm sick or have to take a day off it puts everyone behind including me . I don't handle scheduling I don't lie and if your dog can only handle so much of a groom then I stop.!your dog is more important than your reaction to me. I keep it positive for your furry friends. I love my job and most of all love your pets like their my own. So if you want your dog muzzled and pushed through just for your own satisfaction than I am not the groomer for you. Angie
Angela S — Google review
Worst groomer in Steamboat. DO NOT use this place. The one and only groomer has a reputation for not showing up, and her excuses are laughable. The owner told me she doesn’t want to take on any big dogs “ because they have too much hair”. So it’s a dog grooming salon that doesn’t want dog hair on the premises. Absolutely dreadful place.
Christy M — Google review
Horrible. They cancel appointments or Angie will no-show (which has happened at least 3 times) She'll make up all types of stupid lies as to why she wasn't there, and will then schedule you two months down the road. Also, my dogs have gone in for grooming and just gotten a bath, with no grooming done. Do not send your dogs here. I know it feels like you don't have any options in town, but don't waste your time giving these people any business.
John A — Google review
Don’t take ur dog to the Steamboat Dog Spa!!!!! I took my dog in and they only groomed her back. When I got there the girl said I didn’t get her done and I will finish her the next time u come in! That is piss poor service!!!! I gave the girl a $15 tip before I realized she only did her back! Lisa claims she went overboard to get me back in!!!! If that is so difficult to shuffle times, she can’t handle her business!!!!! I had work related responsiblity and couldn’t make it!!!!!!! Now she won’t give me my money back!!!!!!!! She can’t handle much in her life then!!!!!!!!! Bad business!!!!!!!!!!! Lisa is never there either which is bad business!!!!!!!!!!! This would have never happened when Beth owned it!!!!

This place took amazing care of our Wrigley dog! Staff is curious and talented. Will be reccomending to friends and family. Wrigley will be back soon!

I got my Aussie named Mia done here few days ago and this was my dogs first time ever getting a groom done and i called and the lady that answered was so nice and told me all the precautions they do for first time dogs and they took really good care of her. She looks so amazing. Thank you Steamboat Dog Spa for doing everything for my baby girls first time. I will definitely be coming back!!
Lacey W — Google review
Steamboat Dog Spa provides fantastic service and is staffed by very kind and courteous employees. Emerald trimmed our little boy Butters nails and could not have done a better job. And, she is a dog trainer so knew exactly how to handle him. He can sometimes be a difficult patient. Could not recommend them more to anyone in town or traveling through!
Tom M — Google review
We are new to Steamboat and immediately picked a groomer, and wow!; did we make the right decision! They did an excellent job researching and listening to my instructions on cutting hair on my rare breed (Barbet). Both Gussie and my family were very happy with the courteous and professional service we received. Also, curb side pick up and delivery by a happy person who made my pup comfortable was a bonus!

Spring Creek Trail Head is a beloved spot for nature enthusiasts and locals alike, offering a serene escape into the beauty of the outdoors. The trail winds alongside a peaceful river and through enchanting Aspen groves, with the option to extend your journey up to Buff Pass for a more challenging adventure. It's a popular spot for both hikers and mountain bikers, with plenty of opportunities to encounter wildlife like moose.
The trail starts at an elevation of 8270 but comes down as you walk or ride. Our Choice was to walk but many were riding mountain bikes. The trails are very walkable and take you through beautiful areas surrounded by trees. We did see one moose at a distance.

I went there to see my brother and his family ,while unloading my vehicle and preparing for the surprise ,a huge moose swooped out of nowhere and bam it hit me a knocked me almost unconscious,as I came too the Black bear who had the moose angry was standing on my chest and I played dead. It worked he left I drug my self to a doctor where I spent last day recovering. Spring Creek I say don't go there and if your crazy enough watch out for wolves, mountain lions, mooses, bears, coyotes and worst of all ignorant tourists . Please Don't be lunch.

Nice easy "hike", nature walk with water running near. Multiple routes, we did the 1.5 mile section.

It’s a nice trail there is a lot of trees if you like trees would definitely recommend
Nikolas K — Google review
This was a most beautiful walk. The only negative thing about this is it is not clearly marked and you really need to have a map of the trail to keep track of where you are on the trail
