There are limited options and the taste was bad so I recommend you eat somewhere else after your visit to the park.

Tateyama Nagisa Shokudo is certainly a restaurant I would return to if I was back in the area. The food is great, the interior is beautiful and the view/deck outside is stunning. It’s no wonder it’s so good; it’s connected to a nearby resort. 100% would recommend this restaurant.

The views are stunning here. If you are a photographer or amateur as myself, i highly recommend going to the top of thw castle for the views. Although my japanese is close to zero the people here did their best to help us.

Great views, nice park but downsides are that it is a far walk from the station and you have to pay to get in the castle.

Go up the circular road up to the castle and enjoy superb views of Tateyama city. The castle is not big but still impressive by its elegant design. On the grounds there is a lookout with binoculars which are free, a gracious gesture by the Tateyama Lions Club. The place is swept by a refreshing gentle breeze. For a mere 400 yen you get access to the castle. Highly recommended. You can climb to the top for amazing views. Inside there are three stories of various exhibitions. Of particular note are the puppets from a Showa Era childrens tv show involving NINJAS! There is no english signage so foreignera will be on their own. The ticket also gives acces to the Tateyama City Museum, also located in Shiroyama Park. It's worth it. Take the Uchibo line and come to Tateyama.

If you want a place to sit back and relax this is the place you are looking for. Great view of the city and the sea.

For a small fee you can don helmets and enter tunnels built by Japanese soldiers during world war two. I highly enjoyed my experience and recommend this place to travelers.

There's a ton of sections that are closed to even worse, open but doesn't come with lighting, they lend you a small flashlight that's just a tiny bit better then your phone and if you actually wanna see stuff you should bring a big flashlight of your own. Also, it's kinda scary so not for everyone in my opinion.
