Hill station
Park
Saputara Hill station, which translates to "Adobe of Serpent," is nestled in the heart of Dangs district on the second-highest plateau of the Sahyadri range. This planned hill resort offers a cool climate and stunning views of the verdant valley. The area is popular for hiking, paragliding, and lake boating, with attractions like a ropeway and several gardens.
Saputara is one of the best hill stations to visit during the monsoon. The lush greenery and misty weather create a magical atmosphere. Clouds touch the hills, offering breathtaking scenic views. The road journey is smooth and filled with beautiful landscapes. Boating at Saputara Lake during rain is a peaceful experience. Table Point is perfect to spend hours enjoying nature. Plenty of local food stalls offer tasty snacks and tea. The cool breeze and fresh air refresh both body and mind. Photographers will love capturing the foggy and green surroundings. Overall, it was the best monsoon trip I’ve ever experienced.

Just completed a fantastic bike trip to Saputara this monsoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ride itself is a treat, with scenic, well-maintained roads and thrilling turns. As you ascend, the weather changes beautifully, and the entire landscape turns a stunning, vibrant green. The hill station during this time is absolutely magical. The fog rolls in and out, creating a mystical atmosphere, and the waterfalls are at their roaring best. We visited the Artist Village and enjoyed the boating on the lake. While it can get crowded on weekends, the natural beauty more than makes up for it. A perfect spot for a refreshing break and an ideal destination for a monsoon bike trip.

Saputara, Gujarat's only hill station, is generally well-regarded for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and those seeking a relaxing getaway. Visitors often praise the cool climate, especially during the monsoon season, and the scenic views, particularly around Saputara Lake. The lake is a central attraction, offering boating and a pleasant atmosphere. While some find the town small, it's considered well-planned with amenities like hotels, gardens, and recreational activities.

Beautiful Journey & Scenic Destination I recently visited Saputara on my bike during the rainy season, and the entire experience was amazing! The ride itself (approx. 105 km from my home) was incredibly scenic — light rain, smooth roads, lush green mountains on one side, and a flowing river on the other. The route has sharp U-turns and hilly inclines/declines, making it adventurous and thrilling. Saputara is a peaceful hill station with a lot to offer — I enjoyed boating in the lake, visited the Table Top Point for panoramic views, and ended the day at Sunset Point, which was absolutely stunning. Activities like ropeway rides, paragliding, boating, and sunrise/sunset points are worth exploring. Tip: Be cautious of wild animals like leopards, especially during early mornings or late evenings. Please don’t feed them — it can be dangerous for both you and the animals. Overall, a memorable trip. Honestly, I enjoyed the journey as much as (if not more than) the destination itself!

I had the best experience here. Must visit place especially in monsoons. The lush green hills of saputara will keep you mesmerized. The views are exhilarating and the locals are very good. Nice place for one day picnic with family and friends. Boating, paragliding and ropeway activities are there. We loved the scenery and it was absolutely worth the time.

This is the only hill station of Gujarat. It is a small one nd not much to do here. Best time to visit this place is Monsoon. Good for a stay of a day or two with family or friends. Roads are very good so easy to reach there. Gira Falls in the outskirts is a must visit place.
Kalpesh S — Google review
Saputara Hill Station has good natural surroundings and cool weather, but the place feels very commercialized. It was overcrowded during my visit, and almost everything—food, activities, parking—was on the expensive side. Cleanliness and maintenance could be much better, as the beauty of the hills gets overshadowed by too much rush and high costs. It’s worth a short visit for the scenery, but don’t expect a calm or budget-friendly hill station experience.

Sunrise Point, also known as Valley Viewpoint, is a popular high-altitude observation point located in Saputara, Gujarat. It offers stunning panoramic views of the green valleys and is especially renowned for its breathtaking sunrise vistas. Although it's named Sunrise Point, visitors can enjoy the picturesque scenery at any time of day. The Tata Consultancy Services has proposed renaming it to Valley View Point to attract more tourists. To reach this vantage point, visitors can take a 1.
Worth the early waking up! It looked phenomenal. I love watching sunrise but watching it from above with such beautiful weather was worth the shot! It must be a one time experience for everyone. It's THAT good.
Tijil B — Google review
Sunrise Point in Saputara, Gujarat, is a well-maintained spot that offers a peaceful and scenic setting to start your day. The approach to the top is easy, and once you reach, you’ll find plenty of open space for visitors to settle in and enjoy the view. It’s designed in a way that allows multiple vantage points, so even if it’s a busy day, you can still find your own comfortable spot to watch the sunrise. From the top, the view is truly awesome, with the rolling hills and valleys stretching out into the distance. I visited during the monsoon season, so the surrounding landscape was hidden behind clouds, and the actual sunrise view was mostly missed. However, the misty atmosphere had its own charm, lending a dreamy feel to the place and making the visit memorable in a different way. I can imagine that during winter, when the skies are clear, the sight from Sunrise Point would be absolutely mind-blowing. Watching the first rays of the sun paint the hills in golden light must be an experience worth waking up early for. With its good maintenance, ample space, and breathtaking potential, Sunrise Point is a must-visit for anyone exploring Saputara.

Must visit location if you are at Saputara. Many entertainment and adventure activities. Trekking on the hills during rainy season is amazing. The views all around are mesmerising. Really enjoyed our visit.

It is best to travel during the monsoon season. The view below is amazing because of the height.
Tahirhusen P — Google review
If you're an early riser in Saputara, the Sunrise Point is an absolute must-visit that promises to be a highlight of your trip. Perched high atop one of the surrounding mountains, this viewpoint offers genuinely breathtaking panoramic views that truly come alive as dawn breaks. The effort of waking up early is immediately rewarded. As the first rays of light kiss the horizon, the sky transforms into a vibrant canvas of fiery oranges, soft pinks, and deep purples. The view from the top is simply spectacular, stretching across the lush green Dangs valley, often draped in a mystical morning mist that slowly dissipates as the sun climbs higher. It's a profoundly serene and magical experience that makes you feel deeply connected to nature. Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the exact sunrise time and aim to arrive at least 30-45 minutes beforehand. This will give you ample time to find a good spot, set up your camera (you'll definitely want one!), and witness the subtle, beautiful changes in the sky before the sun fully emerges. It can get a bit chilly up top, especially before the sun makes its appearance, so carrying a light jacket or shawl is advisable. The path up to the viewpoint is generally accessible and makes for a pleasant pre-dawn walk. Overall, Saputara's Sunrise Point is more than just a viewpoint; it's an experience that rejuvenates the soul. For anyone visiting Saputara, prioritizing this spot for at least one morning is highly recommended – it's truly unforgettable.

A Must-Visit Hub for Views, Activities, and Sunsets This vast, flat plateau is the bustling heart of Saputara and a prime spot for visitors. True to its name, "Table Point" is a large, level hilltop offering stunning panoramic views of the entire Saputara valley, the lake, and the surrounding Sahyadri hills. It's most famous as the main activity center in the hill station. This is the place to come for: Ropeway (Cable Car): The primary attraction. The ropeway connects Table Point to Sunset Point (Gandhi Shikhar) on the opposite hill, offering a thrilling ride with breathtaking aerial views of the valley and lake. Sunset Views: While the ropeway goes to Sunset Point, Table Point itself offers magnificent, unobstructed views of the setting sun, painting the sky in vibrant colors. Activities Galore: The large open space is filled with activities, especially for families. You'll find numerous vendors offering horse riding, camel rides, and small bike/ATV rides for kids. Local Snacks: Dotted with small food stalls, this is a great place to try local snacks like roasted corn (bhutta), peanuts, and hot tea, especially in the cool evening air. Visitor Tips: Best Time to Visit: Plan your visit for the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM onwards). This allows you to enjoy the activities and then settle in to watch the spectacular sunset. Getting There: You can reach the top via a winding road (parking is available) or take the ropeway from the valley up to Table Point (check for the "Townview Point" ropeway). Crowds: Be prepared for crowds, especially during peak season and on weekends. The atmosphere is lively and festive, but it's not a quiet, isolated viewpoint. Verdict: If you're in Saputara, you simply can't miss Table Point. It's the quintessential hill station experience, blending stunning natural beauty with fun activities for the whole family.

This is the top point of the Saputara, from the above you able to see the beautiful scenery of Saputara. There are many exciting ride also present there like paragliding which is approx 2500rs(per person) really value for money, zip line which is approx 500rs per person (with camera), rope ways currently it's in maintainence, rented bike get around 200rs, etc. Above the point many small hotels also present, So no worry about food. I mostly preferable to go this place in monsoon, the greenery and the scene are very beautiful.
SAIKAT B — Google review
One of the highlights & main attraction of Saputara, it's highest accessible point via vehicle. Where tourist can enjoy host of different activities like horse riding, mini bike ride, paragliding and so on. Paid parking is available, the place is not at all well maintained is filled with animal litter and plastic garbage which uneducated people leave behind, a scene spot ruined by local mismanagement & filth. Overpriced food items are for sale at the food court. The location has good views but clutter & noise is a sour experience.

Table Land in Saputara, Gujarat, offers an awesome panoramic view from the top, making it one of the most iconic spots in the hill station. The vast open plateau provides a perfect vantage point to admire the surrounding valleys and hills, with plenty of space to walk around and soak in the scenery. It’s a place where the beauty of Saputara unfolds in all directions. One of the most striking sights from Table Land is the Governor Hill Trail, which looks absolutely stunning from above. The green slopes, winding paths, and expansive horizon create a picture-perfect view that leaves a lasting impression. Even if you’re not into photography, the natural charm here is sure to captivate you. I visited during the monsoon, and the experience was magical. Clouds drifted all over the top, the temperature was chilling, and it felt as if winter had arrived in the rainy season. The misty weather, combined with the cool breeze, made it my favorite spot in Saputara during monsoon. It’s a must-visit if you enjoy that refreshing, foggy mountain atmosphere. Beyond its scenic beauty, Table Land is also a hub for adventure and fun. You’ll find plenty of activities like paragliding, zip lining, horse riding, camel riding, and several options for kids. However, remember to plan your visit at the right time, as this is the most crowded place in Saputara and can get quite busy during peak hour

Best time to visit: The winter months (roughly October to February) are typically the most pleasant, with milder days and cooler nights, though temperatures can range and occasional cold snaps occur.

The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station. The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

Waterfalls
Gira Waterfalls is a stunning natural wonder located in Gujarat's hill station. This picturesque waterfall is most active during monsoon season, with a large flow of water that attracts visitors from all over. However, it is advisable to visit after monsoon season, preferably in October when the rain has subsided and the waterfall can be enjoyed fully. The area also boasts a shopping market where visitors can purchase unique local crafts and artifacts made of wood.
Gira Waterfalls is a gem in Dang region, dramatic during monsoons, serene post‑rain, and surrounded by verdant hills. It’s ideal for a nature getaway, family picnic, or photography trip. Just pack comfy shoes, timing awareness, and a mindset open to simple rural charm. Don’t forget your camera and maybe take home a handcrafted bamboo souvenir.
Nilkanth D — Google review
I visited Gira Dhodh Waterfall again in 2025 on a weekend with my family. The place is always beautiful, but this time the water flow was less compared to my visit in 2024, when it was truly majestic and full of force. Since I went on a weekend, the crowd was quite heavy, which is common at such popular spots. The overall experience was still enjoyable. Around the waterfall area, there are many small stalls and shops selling souvenirs, handicrafts, and local gift items, which add to the charm of the visit. There is also a restaurant and stay facility nearby. The food was fine, but the rooms were not very impressive – okay for a short stay but not something to expect high comfort from. In short, Gira Dhodh is a nice place for a family outing or nature trip, especially during monsoon when the waterfall is at its best. If you want to enjoy it with fewer crowds, visiting on a weekday would be a better choice.

Giradodh Waterfall is a wonderful place to visit, especially during the monsoon season when nature is at its best 🌧️. The experience begins right from the parking area — you have to leave your vehicle outside and walk inside to reach the waterfall. This short walk through the greenery feels peaceful and refreshing, with the sound of birds and flowing water growing louder as you approach 🌿. It’s a simple yet beautiful experience that lets you disconnect from the usual noise of city life and step into pure calmness surrounded by lush forest and fresh air. When you finally reach the waterfall, the view is breathtaking 💦. The water gushes down powerfully, creating a cool mist all around, and the whole area looks alive with greenery and natural beauty 🌈. The atmosphere is quiet and soothing, perfect for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Parking outside and walking in actually makes the place cleaner and more preserved, which is a really good idea. Giradodh Waterfall is truly worth visiting — a hidden gem that feels magical in the monsoon and leaves you refreshed every time.

Breathtaking view of the waterfall!Add it in your saputara itinerary for sure. Very vast in width..you can park car and there will be some walking distance to the fall...in between there are many shops which sells bamboo handicrafts and other decorative items.

Beautiful Waterfall specially During Monsoon. You need to walk for 3 to 5 minutes from parking place to see this. Looks sunning from a distance and panoramic view is awesome. Approach road is narrow and Parking is a issue on crowded day. So take care of these situations during monsoon weekends.

Visited this place when we were in Saputara and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious, ambience was warm and inviting, making it perfect for a cozy celebration of my 2 year old son. What truly made the experience unforgettable was their thoughtful gesture — they surprised us with cake and chocolates without us even asking! It was such a sweet and personal touch that made the evening feel extra special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, lovely atmosphere, and amazing hospitality in Saputara!

Hotel Purohit is a recommended destination for a traditional Gujarati thali. While the establishment may lack in ambiance and presentation, the cuisine is delicious and satisfying. The desserts are particularly well-crafted. Pricing stands at 250 rupees for adults and 150 rupees for children. Recent visitors have praised the tasty and nutritious food, urging others to try it out. Overall, Hotel Purohit offers an excellent culinary experience with attentive service that should not be missed when visiting Saputara.
The best hotel I've come across so far. The owner is really good & caring. The best part is they allowed my pet cat to stay there too. This hotel is run by an elderly couple. They're really sweet & humble. The rooms were really clean & at affordable price. Food was awesome. My overall experience was really great. I'll suggest you all to please visit this place once. You'll have a heartwarming experience.

Average food , no variety of food, no ambiance, bad service , not worthy for money They also insisted to pay only in cash as no bills are delivered. Strictly illegal and looting government by taking restaurants payments in cash mode, so they do not need to pay taxes to government. This is surprisingly happening at famous tourist point, also making inconvenience to tourists like us, who need to go and look for ATM for cash, where as every other small shops are accepting GPAY.

Best Gujarati Thali in Saputara, superb taste and good service. All the items in thali are very tasty. Have been a old time fan of Gujrati daal, kadhi here. Location is also very near from the main chowk in Saputara.

The person at cash counter is worst. Staff is third class and manager is totally arrogant. Waste of money. Waste of time. Humble request never visit and don't support such services. I belong to a good family with virtues and such unhuman behaviour is not acceptable at such restaurant. Atleast be respectful towards your customers, they deserve adequate hospitality. Restaurant is also defaming saputara and its heritage. No words left for such worst service. Absolutely third class restaurant and truly deserves to be shut as early as possible.

If you're in Saputara and searching for a vegetarian restaurant, Sugar 'N Spice is an excellent choice. The place is clean and the service is commendable. The taste of their food is above average. Additionally, this restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including Indian, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Fast food, and Asian. Don Hill station in Gujarat is a spectacular destination for day trips, offering breathtaking panoramic views of lush green mountains during the monsoon season. It serves as an ideal spot for picnics due to its outstanding scenery and 360-degree vistas. However, amenities are scarce, making it advisable to bring your own food and beverages for long visits. With no nearby accommodations, it is best suited for day tours only. Hopefully, future development will enhance this location with improved facilities for dining and lodging.
A Wonderful Experience in Nature! I recently visited Don Hills in Gujarat, and it was an amazing experience! The place is full of natural beauty and peaceful vibes. I especially enjoyed the bike trip — riding through the ghat section was thrilling and unforgettable! The views were breathtaking, and the entire journey felt refreshing and adventurous. A perfect spot for nature lovers and bikers.

I recently went to Don Hill Station in Gujarat with my family, and it turned out to be a really refreshing experience. 🌿 It was the rainy season, so the whole place was covered in lush greenery, giving a very soothing and peaceful vibe. The fresh air, misty weather, and natural surroundings made it feel like a perfect getaway from the busy routine. One of the attractions here is the statue of a vulture (gidh), which is quite unique. To see it properly, you need to climb a little bit, but once you reach, the view and the atmosphere are worth the effort. Walking around in that green environment with light rain was truly enjoyable. Since I went on a weekend, there was a lot of crowd, which is expected at such a popular spot. Still, the place didn’t lose its charm. Spending time there with my family, enjoying the weather, and exploring the natural beauty made the whole trip memorable. Overall, Don Hill Station is a great place to visit if you love nature, greenery, and calm surroundings. It’s a spot where you can relax, click good pictures, and enjoy quality time with family. I would definitely recommend it, especially during the rainy season when the beauty of the hills is at its peak. 🌧️🌿

A Hidden Gem in South Gujarat! Don Hill Station is a serene and untouched paradise nestled in the tribal region of South Gujarat. The natural beauty here is simply breathtaking – calm, peaceful, and unspoiled by commercial tourism. No noisy crowds, no overbuilt shops or restaurants – just pure nature and stunning views. The local tribal communities have done a beautiful job preserving the area and its environment. A perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility, fresh air, and a connection to nature. Come here if you want peace, not parties. Highly recommended for nature lovers and explorers!

"A true hidden gem in Gujarat! Don Hill Station offers an escape into nature that rivals Saputara, but with far less commercialization and crowd. Perched at a higher altitude (about 1070 meters), the weather is incredibly pleasant. The views from the top are breathtaking, with rolling green hills of the Sahyadri range all around. The drive up is quite thrilling, and it’s a perfect spot for trekking enthusiasts. If you love peace, quiet, and unspoiled natural beauty, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend going during the monsoon when the waterfalls are alive!"

Don is very beautiful hillstation of Dang, especially during and in between monsoon and winter it's just so wonderful. It's just 3kms away from Maharashtra-Gujarat border. Still developing area, surrounded by very nice and sweet indigenous people. It's view is just so fascinating from the top. Greenery and mountains and such a peaceful atmosphere. Hate it that people who visits this place throw garbage around. Please if you're reading this keep it clean, Dang is precious jewel of Gujarat. 🌱⛰️🏞

Visited Don Hill Station recently, and it was an amazing experience overall! The journey itself was so much fun, with scenic views making the travel and trekking truly enjoyable. The trek was refreshing and definitely worth it for nature lovers. A few points to keep in mind: parking can be a bit tricky, food options are limited, and there were some minor issues with washrooms and water availability. Despite these small inconveniences, we had an incredible time exploring the area and enjoying the views. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of adventure, trekking, and relaxation!

Recently visited Don Hill Station, and it was an incredible experience! 😍 The view from the top was absolutely worth the climb — calm, green, and full of natural beauty. 🌳 The waterfalls and scenic spots on the way make the ride even more enjoyable ✨. The roads are in great condition too, so even scooters and bikes 🛵🏍️ can make it up easily. There are certain issues also with these place - basic facilities like washrooms and refreshment stalls are not maintained properly. As compared to Saputara there are no options for fun activities. No petrol pumps are available along the route once you cross ahwa ake sure to fill full tank up at Ahwa before climbing. Even if come down from Don Hill there is no option for restaurants and hotel since the location is too remote. If you are looking forward to go for nature and climbing adventure then you can go.

Saputara Adventure Park is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Nestled in the lap of Mother Earth, this hilltop park offers breathtaking views and a serene lake with stunning scenery. Boating on the Saputara lake is a popular activity, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of lush greenery and tranquil surroundings.
This is a hill top park with amazing breathtaking view. If you have fear of height, then you should avoid coming here. The road for coming here is very steep, and the climbing is very difficult. If you have a less power vehicle, (<1000cc Engine) then it is difficult to climb. There used to be paragliding here, but due to start of some construction activity, the paragliding is shifted to and another nearby hill top. This is the scenario of May 2019. This place is a trekker's paradise. There is also a trekking campsite nearby which is accessible from this park.

Saputara is small but nice hill station in Gujarat. Nisik is 76 km only. One can visit Vani for Saptasrungi Temple on the way from Nasik. For staying many Hotels available. Hotel Gokul is nice for family. Hotel Toran of GTDC is very good for groups and having variety of rooms - rate includes - bed tea, Breakfast & one Gujarati meal.Lake is nice for boating, quiet and calm. Sunrise point and Sunset points are worth to visit. Good attraction is Rope way - But avoid going after 6 pm. Nageshwar mahadev and Nawagam Ganesh temple is also good.Wonderful experience for 2-3 days outing. Sun rise and and Sunset poin is also remarkable.hear you can enjoy with Paragliding, Horseriding, and very .amazing Saputara is a place need to br experience. Saputara is a very small town, nothing much to do and see. Boating and Paragliding are main attractions. Sunrise point is worth seeing. Sunset point is also good and gets crowded in the evening. For best vegetarian food you can go to Patang restaurant adjoining Saputara Lake parking. The rates are reasonable, ambience excellent and food is the best in town. It is so neat and clean restaurant that it can be compared to 3 star property. 6 Km away from Saputara is Club Mahindra and they have the best buffet breakfast for Rs 750 between 8 am till 10.30 am. There are plenty of food stalls around the lake. Food is reasonably priced.

A true treat for the mind and body, this charming hill station offers countless attractions spread across the town. From a serene pond with boating facilities to beautifully landscaped gardens, an open-air theater, a dancing fountain show, and a unique step garden—there’s something for everyone. Nature lovers can explore the honey bee park, zip line adventures, and paragliding, while thrill-seekers will love the sports complex, cart racing track, and ropeway rides. Don’t miss the scenic tabletop offering horse, camel, and bike rides, or the majestic Hatgad Fort that whispers tales of history. And of course, the iconic sunrise and sunset points provide the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories. The town is also a food lover’s paradise, packed with hotels, restaurants, dhabas and roadside thellas serving a wide range of delicious cuisines.

This location gives you the awesome view of the entire town. You will be amazed that even if the town is so small, it still offers you a lot of options of activities to enjoy. Lake view is just spectacular. This point is visited by locals as well as tourists. It offers a breathtaking view of the entire Saputara town. In order to get a better close up of the town, one can use the telescope to view it. Near this point is the table land where there are fun loving activities for children. Also, there is an ample space for parking the vehicles. It is an ideal place for families, couples as well as friends. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

I liked this place very much. It's a amazing place to visit (for photographer and travellers) . You can take different rides - horse, double cycle, Camel, bike ,etc. Here's a sunset point. And also Ropeway. It's a must visit place (one time) . I think it would be better to visit here during winter.
Sid J — Google review
There is not much or can't say a superb place but you can visit in the winter n enjoy the cool climate with a wonderful view. A small hill station. Couple of things here one the rope way which is nice where you can get a cool view of Saputara. Second is the paragliding here... Not awesome but but but gets extraordinary during the winter sunset 😍 Can visit once.😊

Go sit at this point in monsoon and wait for the clouds to clear of a bit. With a breeze and sounds of tough clouds passing through these mountains you'll a painting of a village just at the bottom. The image is as if you're a god and watching your creations from heaven above. I wish I could live there.

Awesome place. Here you see Great Sunset. Cool place... Saputara is one of the most popular hill station in Western Ghats. It is situated in Dang district of Gujarat state. But many number's of tourists are come here both Maharashtra and Gujrat.

Super views Dec last week: The sunset point is on the other side of the ropeway cable car station. While there are food stalls and some activities for kids, the sunset view is just awesome. The setting sun and the entire orange line across the horizon is a sight to behold.
Maulin P — Google review
Best sunset location of gujarat. It is just beside rope way and you need either cab or own vehicle to reach there. So ideally you should start at 3pm to cover ropeway and sunset both. Else you will miss either of them. Location is full of fun activity too.

The Sun Rise Point restaurant has great potential for further improvement, particularly in catering to tourists. The prices of hotels are quite steep, and the boating rates tend to be high during weekends. Despite these concerns, the establishment itself is undeniably beautiful.

Nestled in the serene landscape of Saputara, Shilpi Hill Resort offers a delightful escape for travelers seeking relaxation and adventure. Had a fantastic stay here! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to Santosh and the new team that joined at the restaurant this week. What really stood out was the thoughtful service — they took the time to understand our dietary needs and offered excellent suggestions that worked perfectly for us. They truly elevated our dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the quality was consistent across every meal. The team’s warmth and professionalism created such a positive atmosphere, and we felt genuinely looked after each time we dined there. Reception was smooth and welcoming, and room service was excellent (prompt and dependable). Overall, a memorable stay. We’d gladly return — not just for the comfort of the hotel, but for the people who make it feel special.

Our amazing stay at Shilpi definitely deserves a review! From the moment we arrived, the vibe was just perfect for a relaxing vacation. The food was simply outstanding — we had a breakfast, lunch, and dinner plan, and each meal exceeded our expectations. The family room was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. Overall, if you’re planning a family staycation, Shilpi is highly recommended!

Spacious rooms, very big lobby, clean swimming pool and to top it very good curated everyday breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Staff is extremely cooperative. Location is in the middle of the action. One of the Best resort that i have to been to for 3 nights.

This is a little old but well maintained hotel. Though the hotel building and landscape is not an impressive one, the room size, upkeeping and service makes it up. The food here is very good. There is a food stall at the gate of the property which is good for a quick bite.
Kalpesh S — Google review
We had a pleasant stay overall. The facilities, location, and staff behaviour were excellent – I’d rate them 4.5 out of 5. The hotel is well-maintained and ideally situated, making it convenient for sightseeing and relaxation. However, there's room for improvement in the breakfast quality. The food lacked variety and taste, which was a bit disappointing. I would rate the breakfast 2.5 out of 5. If the breakfast is improved, this hotel could easily be a top choice in Saputara.

Fraudery. Sell rooms under package including food and then in the final bill they mention restaurant bill separately. Upon mentioning and raising the issue they do not address it and are totally unresponsive. This is a scam going on. The GM doesn't pick up calls. They send you saying that We'll send you the right bill over mail and then become unresponsive. This is total fraud. Kindly check with the hotel and ask for bill prior.
