Blue Lagoon Beach is a serene resort with villas surrounded by gardens, featuring a spa, pool, and a restaurant/bar overlooking the sea. Located on the east side of Bali islands, it's about 1.5 hours from Kuta by car but well worth the drive. The beach is a hidden paradise and a top spot for snorkeling enthusiasts due to its clear waters and rich coral reefs teeming with colorful fish.
Nice little beach in walking distance from Padang Bai harbour. Ideal place to go while waiting for next day boat ride. Beautiful bay for snorkelling with pristine water, loads of corals and different fish species, lucky ones can spot a turtle also. You can rent a sunbed or lay down on the sand, not many people are coming here, most come from snorkelling tours, so the beach is quite empty.

Turns out as a gray or green lagoon? LOL! I don't know, you be the judge. Could be due to the gloomy cloudy weather when I arrived, but as far as I know, a lagoon color should not be affected very much by the daylight, unless extreme weather maybe. The beach was not enticing at all, with rubbish all over. There was heavy raining the day before till the morning so I'll give this blue lagoon claim a benefit of doubt. We stayed for a while and left without entering the water because the wave looks rough. Worth a visit? Definitely not. Still want to visit? Than better wait for nice sunny weather.
John T — Google review
The beach is small, but with light sand. The waves are strong, the water is a beautiful color, but since the port is located right behind the cape of the lagoon, at some point there was a lot of debris and muck floating in the water that was thrown overboard from tourist ships or elsewhere, and this made swimming in this place unpleasant. An interesting fact was that tourists book a snorkeling package on the other side of the cape, which is actually just a hill climb away, and then they are brought a few dozen meters around the cape to the lagoon to snorkel, when at the same time you could walk for 15 minutes and then rent a snorkeling gear on the lagoon and do it yourself there 😀. Is this a place where you can ride a scooter for 45 minutes...then the answer is no, it didn't make me feel like I would make such a trip again.
Juri H — Google review
Parking 2k idr Snorkelling set rental fee from the shop nearby 75k idr The corals are thriving, fishes are a lot, we saw some gamat and eels as well. Just make sure not to step on corals since it's quite shallow. There are some rubbing near the shore which can dampen the mood, but the fishes made up for it.
Izz B — Google review
A small lagoon that could be so good if looked after, but sadly is being used and not maintained. A short walk (think meters) from Padang Bai up a steep tarmac slope and down a flight of rough steps. Parking at the top 2K for bikes, 5k for cars. The small bay has a couple of bars that rent out snorkelling equipment (60k for fins, mask, snorkle). The beach is as rubbish strewn as the path down to the bay and sadly this rubbish is floating around the reef. It is only a small area of reef which is basically in the bay you can see. The water was clear when we were there, just with a haze of bits floating around. As you enter the water from the beach there are a few strong waves but as soon as you are past them it becomes easy to paddle around. The reef is not deep and easy to dive down. There are an OK range of fish to see, probably more for beginner snorkellers. A few interesting corals in different colours. An hour is probably all you to need to fully explore the reef.
Paul T — Google review
The views from 1B are gorgeous. Otherwise you need to appreciate a rustic experience. Eg. Showers outside (privacy protected or course) water lukewarm, if it's pouring and you don't like mixing cool rain water with shower, then it's a problem.
M S — Google review
Stopped by on the way—parking was 2k, which is standard. The beach itself was average and a bit messy. I didn’t snorkel, so I can’t comment on that, but on the day I visited the water looked more green and grey than blue. To be fair, the weather was cloudy, so it might look much better on a sunny day."

Restaurant
Bloo Lagoon Restaurant & Cafe is part of the wonderful Bloo Lagoon Village eco-resort, featuring a large inviting pool surrounded by greenery and a waterslide. The circular structure collects rainwater, adding to its eco-friendly charm. While there were some issues with meal orders, the staff accommodated with complimentary fruit platters and creative drinks. The restaurant offers stunning views and delicious food with plenty of vegetarian options.
Great place to spend the day. The food was nice, and the service was also good. Kudos to the gentlemen at the parking lot for their hospitality. However, as many have mentioned, the road access to the property needs to be fixed, as it’s both terrible and dangerous. Additionally, motorbikes were parked along the uphill roadside just before the entrance, taking up space and quite dangerous for passing cars. Tip: Blue Lagoon Beach is also worth a visit. The entrance and parking area are located halfway along the same road, so you can stop by either before or after your visit to the restaurant.
Dewa Y — Google review
Bloo Lagoon Restaurant truly offers an incredible view. For a restaurant of this level, the scenery is absolutely stunning and definitely one of the highlights of the visit. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff members working in the parking area were very friendly and welcoming. They helped us park our car efficiently and greeted us with warm smiles, which immediately gave us a good first impression upon arrival. It really set a positive tone before we even stepped into the restaurant. However, there were two main issues that unfortunately took away from the overall experience. First, the access road leading to the restaurant is in very poor condition. It was quite bumpy and difficult to navigate, making the journey there less comfortable than it should have been. For a destination that clearly attracts many visitors, I believe improving the road conditions would make a big difference. The second and more significant issue was the restaurant’s lack of preparation for handling a large number of customers. When the place got crowded, it became very clear that the team was overwhelmed. There was no proper waiting list system in place, and it seemed quite chaotic trying to get a table. Staff members appeared unsure of how to manage the situation efficiently, which led to a lot of confusion and frustration among guests. For a restaurant that positions itself as a high-end destination with such a beautiful view, better organization and customer service during peak hours are absolutely essential. A proper reservation system, a clear waiting list, and better staff training on managing busy periods would really help improve the overall guest experience. Overall, while the view and the warm attitude of the parking staff were truly commendable, the poor road access and disorganized service during busy times left us feeling disappointed. With some improvements, Bloo Lagoon Restaurant has the potential to offer not only great views but also a truly memorable dining experience.

Delicious food, amazing ocean view, super kind staff! Our ferry was cancelled, so we needed a place to stay for a few hours. We had all our luggage with us. The staff was super kind to keep it for us while we enjoyed our long lunch and tea&dessert. Special mention to the huge chocolate cake slice!

This place is a fantastic find! The breathtaking ocean views make it perfect whether you're catching up with friends or simply want a peaceful spot to admire the scenery on your own. The food and drinks are delicious, the service is incredibly friendly, and the prices are just right. Highly recommended for any occasion

Pros: • yummy food nonetheless • the seafood pizza was really good • the views are amazing • if you sit at the top floor of the restaurant, you can get a really nice view of Padangbai Cons: • location is challenging to go especially that there are no side barriers on the way. Super crucial if raining • staff are more accommodating to my white boyfriend than to me lol.

Blue Lagoon Snorkeling

SCUBA tour agency
Blue Lagoon Snorkeling is a must-do activity in Bali, offering clear waters and an abundance of marine life. The tour operators provide excellent communication and punctual transportation to the snorkeling location. At Blue Lagoon, visitors are equipped with gear and guided through the stunning coral reefs teeming with colorful fish. The convenience of facilities at D'Steel Coffee Kitchen makes it a great starting point for this adventure.
Amazing Blue Lagoon Snorkeling Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an unforgettable snorkeling adventure at Blue Lagoon, thanks to the incredible team! The experience was made even more special by our guides, Pak Putu and Bang Bintang, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. Even though finding the manta rays was a bit challenging, they were determined to help us locate them. They were patient and persistent, and their local knowledge truly paid off when we finally spotted the majestic creatures! Their guidance made the whole trip even more exciting and rewarding. The service was top-notch, and the safety precautions were thorough, making us feel secure the entire time. If you're looking for a professional and memorable snorkeling experience, I highly recommend Blue Lagoon! Big thanks to Pak Putu and Bang Bintang for making our day so special.🥰🥰

We had a great snorkeling trip at Blue Lagoon, even though the weather was quite unpredictable — it rained intermittently and at times heavily, but it didn’t ruin the experience! 🐠 The reef and underwater scenery were stunning. In some shallow areas, you could get very close to the coral and fish — almost within touching distance. Our guide was friendly, clear, and helpful, always keeping an eye on the group and explaining what we were seeing. 🩴 Bring proper water shoes or reef shoes! The boat entry and some shore spots can be rocky and slippery. 💧 They provide drinking water on board, which was a nice touch. 📦 One suggestion for improvement: there are no lockers, and you bring your bags directly onto the boat. That means all your belongings are exposed to water and rain, so be sure to pack waterproof or sealed bags — or better yet, the operator could add basic lockers or dry storage options. 💬 Overall, even with the weather, the experience was memorable. Crystal-clear waters, colorful fish, and a safe, relaxed vibe made it a worthwhile activity in Bali!

Very beginner-friendly! As a first-time snorkeler, this place was highly recommended because the depth is no more than 7m. The services were also excellent: clear goggles, friendly staff, good-quality videos, and meals included. You can also rent a towel there for only 10k IDR

We had an amazing time and highly recommend doing this activity. You can do it as a tour or just head down to the Lombok ferry terminal and do it from there. The boat driver was wonderful. He gave us food for the fish and we were lucky enough to see a TURTLE!! It was truely a great experience. We want to two locations. The boat trip lasts for 2 hours and cost is 200,000 each which is $20AUD. Fantastic value for money. A must if you are in the Ubud area

I'm glad we chose this company :) Everything was great. The snorkelling instructor was diving with us, showing the best spots. We were lucky to see sea turtles and a few Nemo fish. The instructor was great to take photos and videos. Would definitely recommend 👌
Aleksandra A — Google review
Absolute favourite experience. Our guide was just amazing, so helpful to those without experience or who were scared and was detailed in his explanations for our safety and to help care for the reef. Lots of beautiful and colourful fish at both locations we went to and we even saw a turtle and lots of ‘nemo’ clown fish which was just such an incredible experience. The guide helped us spot lots of different fish and was so helpful with our underwater camera taking photos for us that we might have missed. Highly recommend!

Padang Bai Beach

Beach
Padang Bai Beach, also known as Bias Tugel Beach, is a stunning white-sand beach in Bali that offers clear waters and a tranquil atmosphere. It is celebrated for its original and undisturbed form, making it one of the most magnificent beaches on the island. The Blue Lagoon at Padang Bai Beach provides opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, while nearby diving sites offer sightings of unique marine life such as squids, stonefish, and reef sharks.
One of the cleanest beaches in Bali, or maybe we just here on a good day. But it was definitely a nice place to watch the sun go down and people watch the locals at play after a long tropical day.
Jason ( — Google review
This is a busy bay for speedboats going to Gili islands and lombok, some also go to Lembongan and Nusa Penida. The water in the bay looked blue and clear but lots of rubbish floating on the top from all the traffic , which is so sad to see, as this may very well have once been a great beach, with its sandy bed and sandy entry into the water. That said, it’s better that major boat traffic is contained to certain ports. It would be nice to move this one to an area where the beach is rocky and not for swimming .
MNML J — Google review
Nice colors but all full of plastic and rubbish. Nobody cares to clean up. This place has a weird feeling in the air. We just stayed to go to the Gilis the day after. I don’t believe anyone can enjoy it here for much longer. We were happy when we left.
CJS — Google review
You can’t really relax or enjoy the beach. Everywhere you turn, someone’s trying to sell you something or push you into doing snorkelling. If you’re looking for peace and space, this is not the place.
Jasmin A — Google review
Padang Bai Beach was unfortunately a stressful experience. The area is extremely hectic, with people constantly trying to sell you something or scam you in some way. It felt like we were being approached non-stop. We also had to wait far too long in line for the boat to Gili T, and even while standing in line, we were repeatedly hassled by sellers. Overall, it was not a relaxing or pleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re just passing through quickly.
Einar D — Google review
Took a snorkel tour from shore out to two dive sites. The variety of marine life we seen was great. However there is lots of rubbish on the shore and in the water and on shore we felt constantly harassed and pressured bu street vendors and unlicensed taxi drivers, we would not come to this area again and were very happy to leave
Peter N — Google review
We took a boat snorkeling from here to Blue Lagoon and Amuk Bay. You probably don’t need a boat as you could probably access from Blue Lagoon beach or Amuk Bay but still was good to have snorkeling equipment and guide. There is lovely hard and soft coral and an abundance of fish (five stars). We booked everything through a trusted local contact who drove us and arranged snorkeling etc. This meant we didnt have to deal with any local mafia etc which made the experience more relaxing for us. Unfortunately as others have noted there is also an abundance of plastic rubbish some of which we collected while snorkeling but it is somewhat depressing when you see the mountains of plastic rubbish on the beach (one star). Why do humans destroy the things we love?
B T — Google review
Unfortunately this was the most polluted Beach in Bali we've seen, so we two of us spent 3 hours picking up rubbish and the locals helped put the bags up on the pavement for the rubbish trucks the following day. Could be a stunning beach if everyone just collected a few bits of rubbish each day.

Pura Tanjung Sari, situated at the southern base of Mount Luhur and about 100 meters from Pura Silayukti, offers stunning views of the cliffs and sea. Facing west on a rocky promontory, it provides a beautiful setting for Hindu devotees to enhance their spiritual connection. The temple is also known for hosting a series of 45-day prayer events celebrating Dadia Tangkas Kori Agung.
Bring sarong or can’t go in.

The temple is nice, but its parking is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in all of Indonesia so far. I've come here many times. Why pray the Gods and express gratitude if you cannot even keep your own land clean? Appalling. By the way, this is NOT a touristy place. Kita hanya punya satu bumi 🌏. Please clean! Silayukti Temple, situated on the southeastern coast of Bali, is a significant ancient Hindu temple believed to have been constructed in the 11th century. It holds cultural and historical importance for Balinese Hindus. The small temple overlooks Padang Bai bay and is easily accessible from the town center. Silayukti Temple in Bali – A Unique Spiritual Experience 🌿✨ The Silayukti Temple in Padangbai is a hidden gem in Bali 🏯. Dedicated to Dewa Siwa, this temple offers a serene atmosphere and stunning views of the ocean 🌊. Built in the 11th century, it’s a place where history and spirituality beautifully intertwine. What makes this temple truly special are its religious ceremonies. On ceremony days, the temple comes alive with offerings, prayers, and traditional dances 🎶💫. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the real Bali and connect with its deep-rooted beliefs. Tip: If you visit during a ceremony, be sure to dress respectfully (sarong and sash) and arrive early to avoid the crowds ⏰. The temple is also peaceful on non-ceremonial days, ideal for those seeking quiet reflection. Overall, a must-see for anyone interested in Bali’s culture and spirituality! 🌸🙏

Silayukti Temple, perched gracefully on Bali's southern coast, emanates a serene charm that beckons both history enthusiasts and spiritual seekers. The seaside setting offers a picturesque view, creating a tranquil ambiance for contemplation. The ancient stone carvings and remnants tell tales of Balinese cultural heritage, inviting visitors to delve into the island's rich past. Though smaller in scale, Silayukti Temple holds a unique allure, blending spirituality with coastal beauty. The absence of crowds enhances the meditative atmosphere, allowing for a more intimate connection with Bali's historical roots. Silayukti Temple stands as a hidden gem, unveiling the island's cultural tapestry.

Omang Omang Bar And Diner is a must-visit spot in Padangbai, offering a delightful dining experience. The place boasts an inviting ambiance with attention to detail in its design. The menu features a diverse range of dishes from Mexican to Asian cuisine, including Asian pulled pork and Indonesian curry. Guests rave about the delicious food, particularly the chicken burger and tomato pasta. The drink menu is equally impressive, with fantastic mojitos and gin tonics on offer.
Great place to hang out! The staff is so friendly, always welcoming you with a big smile. Atmosphere is so cool especially on Monday nights where there is live music! We spent almost every night there to chill. Go there if you want good vibes and a chill place!

Wow - delicious food, attentive service, great atmosphere. Me and the family ate well, kept phones away and had a proper giggle. The music (in the background) was my flavour ACDC type this evening. Food was of great value. Based in the centre of Padang Bai so walking distance.

This place is an absolute gem! Set in a charming old Raman Adat, it’s got a cozy, laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are super friendly and welcoming—always up for a chat and make you feel like part of the family. The menu is impressively extensive, with a perfect mix of Western and Asian dishes. Everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. They’ve got a great music playlist going most of the time, and Monday nights are extra special with live music that really brings the place to life. It’s the kind of spot where you come in for a meal and end up staying for hours. Easily my favourite bar in Padangbai—highly recommend!

The staff is lovely and the environment is very pleasant. After three weeks enjoying Indonesian dishes, I decided to try something different. I ordered the fettuccine with tomato ("homemade sugo") and basil. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed, as the sauce tasted very much like ketchup rather than a proper tomato sauce…I was expecting something more in line with the description. That said, I appreciate the overall atmosphere and service. Perhaps the restaurant shines more in its local specialties.

Our group of 8 was too large, had to be split into 2 groups of 4. Service was attentive, cheerful, and prompt. Some items on the menu either ran out or no longer offered, would be nice to have server advised us beforehand instead of during, hey at least not taking the order and then find out. I couldn't eat much that night, pairing the samosa (3 PCs) with 2 bintang lemon (or was it bintang fresh? Anyways was light in alcohol and refreshing)

Had food here a couple of times. I like it because the staff are not intrusive. They don't pester you with so many questions on how to push their business onto you. When the door to the kitchen opens you can see it is very clean and tidy inside. The food is good and they use proper alcohol to make the cocktails with. Highly recommend.

Padangbai Billabong Coffee and Restaurant

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming coastal town of Padangbai, Padangbai Billabong Coffee and Restaurant is a delightful spot that captures the essence of local dining. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, this family-owned eatery offers a diverse menu featuring Asian and Indonesian cuisine. After an exhilarating morning of diving or snorkeling, you can unwind on their balcony rooms overlooking the bay while sipping on what many claim to be the best coffee in town—Billabong Coffee.
On our day trip to padangbai after finishing our snorkeling tour we walked into this place for lunch and the food was so good and the service was great..

Nice atmosphere, very nice people. Attentive service. Food was good, many options. I am vegetarian and enjoyed the fried veggie wrap. My friend had tender ribs with quite spicy sauce. Italian carbonara was good too. We came back daily for the coffee drinks. Local family owned.

Do NOT come here if you have any allergies!! The staff don’t know and don’t care. I spent a long time explaining that I couldn’t have anything with cows milk, egg or gluten, they managed to give me avocados in mayonnaise (which they said was guacamole and didn’t contain any dairy) and wheat flour tortillas which after explaining several times and was told it would be okay turned out contained “plain flour”. She then changed her mind and said that they only contained rice flour so that I would keep eating them. Basically the staff can’t be bothered and don’t care because they get people eating here before they catch their ferries. Walk further down and go somewhere with people who are kind and caring. The manager was particularly rude.

Good food spot before going on the boat. Staff fast and responsive. Portions a little small for the price

I had the cheese (grilled cheese?) And it wasn't melted. The employees (mens) were lound, having fun together and barely smiling to customers... I don't recommend
Elizabeth B — Google review
As most of people, we had breakfast there waiting no for the boat. It was just ok, edible, but definitely not special. Taking into consideration the quality, the prices should be way lower
Joanna D — Google review
Really good food, variety and amazing coffee selection at a good price. Great service. Recommend frappacino, various flavours
Amber H — Google review
It was fine, on the expensive side but that’s expected for a busy part of town i suppose. Service was not amazing and got haggled about trips to lombok and gili islands while ordering…

Day 2

Southeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the southeast side side of town. Start the day off with Bias Tugel Beach, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Kusamba Beach. All together, your day would be filled with about 2 hours of non-stop fun.

Outdoor Activities
Bias Tugel Beach, also known as Pantai Kecil or White Sand Beach, is a hidden gem near Padang Bai. Accessible via a short 500m trek down a rocky path, this tranquil beach offers stretches of white sand and sparkling blue sea with swaying coconut trees. It's somewhat secluded and provides a serene atmosphere away from the bustling tourist spots.
Beautiful white sand beach, with very clear blue water. The waves are biggish but the tide pushes you towards the shore (or it did when I went), so I believe it to be safe, just don’t swim too far out. If you can swim at all, it should be totally fine. There are people with snorkels and I believe there’s fish slightly further out. 10k entry per person, collected as you drive in. Then you have to walk down a number of steps and turn left for the beach. Then it’s a few minutes downhill walk over some roots/rocky bits, but it’s not too difficult. The beach itself is so quiet, we were there from 11:30-3pm and considering how wonderful it is, I expected far more people. We rented a sunbed for 35k pp. Toilet facilities aren’t nice but that’s just how they are and it’s nothing shocking to me, given I’ve been travelling a while. They are squat toilets also. A lady sells grilled and salted corn cobs for 25k a pop and they are delicious! There’s also several restaurant/shops/stalls. I only encountered one beach seller and they did not pester us for long or return. Perhaps there are more on weekends, but we came on a Monday and only encountered the one - no big deal. The water is clear and nice and cold - but not too cold. It’s very refreshing and I believe it’s the best beach on Bali mainland.

I recently visited this beach that left me with mixed impressions. The entrance fee was 10,000 Indonesian Rupiah per person, which seemed reasonable at first, but our experience with payment was frustrating. After handing over 100,000 Rupiah for two people, the attendant only returned 70,000, shortchanging us by 10,000. It felt like an attempt to cheat, which dampened the mood right at the start. Swimming was challenging due to strong waves, making it less ideal for those looking for a relaxing dip. The beach itself was somewhat dirty, which detracted from the natural beauty. Additionally, the proximity to a local port made the surroundings less scenic and more industrial. As a foreigner, I found the atmosphere a bit overwhelming. Locals were constantly trying to sell items or push us to rent a chaise lounge, leaving little room for relaxation. The lack of electricity in the area was also inconvenient, as it meant no card payments or options for charging phones. While the beach has some potential, the combination of poor maintenance, pushy vendors, and lack of basic facilities made it less enjoyable. The entrance fee and the attempted shortchanging added to the negative experience. I wouldn't recommend it unless improvements are made in cleanliness, transparency, and facilities.

Visited this beach in October 2024, quite early in the morning. I loved the track leading down — quiet and a bit challenging 🤣 The beach was beautiful. I arrived just after sunrise. I hesitated to swim at first, but I did it anyway. And guess what? Just as I swam near the rocks… I SAW A BLACK-AND-WHITE STRIPED SNAKE! 😭 I panicked and told a group of Balinese boys who were already there. One of them casually said, “Yeah, you can find them near the rocks — just don’t swim too close, and you’ll be fine.” So yeah — beautiful and quiet beach, but maybe avoid swimming near the rocks 🥹

You have two options in going down here — pay 20k from the other entrance or climb a hill and walk down a forest to get to the beach. Nonetheless, it is quiet a peaceful place in Padangbai. The chairs are like 50k each and there’s beer options too. The waves are nice but gets huge from time to time.
Keziah R — Google review
To begin with, this beach is not white and consist of black sand. I am not sure why some says it's white, probably they have never come across an actual white sandy beach. Next, accessing the beach requires trekking thru a rubbished area which was disgusting, followed by up and down thru unmarked clearings. Just follow the direction toward the beach, you should be fine. Either that, you could access it via the end of the road where there's access to a secret beach too. At the beach side, there's some Warungs selling food and drinks. I'm just intrigued about the RP10,000 they collect, what do they do with it instead of keeping the beach clean. Strange. Return again to this beach? Hell no.

Beautiful beach, very peaceful with some nice spots for food / drink.

I advise you to go to this beach, white sand, blue sea, turtle and fish, the warung are super good, magical day ,Spend the day at the beach and watch the sunset 200 meters away, volcanic beach❤️🦋🪄🪄🎩

Very chill white sand beach with clear turquoise water. The waves can be a little rough to get in (dependind on the time of day), but for the most part once you pass the first couple of waves you can swim out a bit. There are plenty of warungs with beach chairs, umbrellas and delicious food and cold beer. Don’t expect good toilets (squat toilets with bucket flush of sea water) and there are no showers. The tide can bring some rubbish at times, but that is a problem overall in Bali. I spent 2 afternoons here and loved it! There are some vendors, but they are very respectful if you say “no thanks” with a smile. There are 2 paths to get here; one you have to pay 10K (which is supposed to go to beach maintenance) and the other is free. Highly recommend it if you are in Panangbai 🏝️🏖️

Kusamba Beach is a picturesque destination with natural black sands and stunning views of Nusa Penida Island. The small harbor offers a quieter alternative to busier spots like Sanur. Visitors can witness the rare tradition of producing 100% natural sea salt, with local farmers welcoming guests to observe the process and purchase souvenirs and salt.
Good view with black sand beach, and there's a port of fast boat to Nusa Penida
Bhasma V — Google review
Kusamba Beach is mainly used as a departure point for boats heading to Nusa Penida, so it’s quite functional rather than a leisure spot. The black sand is interesting, but unfortunately the beach itself is quite dirty with a lot of rubbish scattered around, which takes away from the natural beauty. It works well if you’re here for transportation, but as a place to relax or swim, it’s not the best option. A decent spot for catching a boat, but not ideal if you’re looking for a clean beach experience.

Beautiful beach with natural black sand, this is my second time visit here, I like to look how the traditional people maker salty.. The natural salt. Very famous..

Pure beach with black sand along the shore. The place is used for local boat port to cross to Nusa Penida. Still much plastic /rubish through out the beach and must be seriously taken care

A very rare tradition could be seen here. It’s a 100% natural sea salt ! All the farmers will be very welcome to show you how they processing sea water to be salt Please avoid rainy season And to support local community, please please buy some souvenir and kg’s of salt from them. :)

A beautiful beach where you can see Nusa Penida Island. Grey sandy beach, visiting preferred when sunrise. Many locals will gather here during Galungan, Kuningan or other Hindu's public holiday in Bali, they sells local products, foods, souvenirs ect.

Mimba Foods Corner is a fantastic restaurant located away from the chaos of Padangbai and en route to Bias Tugel. The grilled baracuda, their standout fish dish, is meaty, flavorful, and not at all fishy. The accompanying sambal perfectly complements the fish. Additionally, the owner's exceptional service was evident when she kindly arranged for her husband to give us a ride back on his scooter as a gesture of courtesy.
My favourite restaurant that I visited in Padang Bai. Food is so good. The service is amazing and the view is a bonus. I will miss the flavours when I leave. Also the friendly sweet dogs made me smile. Overall I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Had the best first meal in Indonesia here! Super sweet family and the chicken satay was so good. The lady even brought me to the hotel for free because it was a dark road, which was so sweet!!! Highly recommend this place!!

One of the best Indonesian meals we have had in our 3 months in Indonesia. The Nasi Campur and Nasi Goreng is delicious. They also have a great variety of western food and cold beer. The waitress spoke very good English. Food was served promptly.

I would just say that we really had high hopes when we ate here. Food: it’s good for its price but nothing too special. Many of the drinks in the menu are not available even. Service: average but took so long for our food to be served. There wasn’t much customers when we visited. Just 4. Atmosphere: it’s really pleasant and it is overlooking the sea. Has bit of mosquitoes around but manageable. It may be rated as 4.9 but it’s okay for its price. Not too expensive, not too cheap and the food is filling.

Wet good experience, great service very friendly and pro, tasty food (everything had good flavor and fresh) ambiance with music for the evening… (access by foot or car - parking ok) price ultra correct and cB accepted… we really enjoyed our meal….

This is a great place to eat outside the crazy busy padangbai central. The staff are so so kind, food is nice, and the views are amazing. The photos included are for the chicken soup and the nasi goreng. Make sure you bring cash though as eftpos has a hefty surcharge.
Ethan F — Google review
Good food is good mood! This is the credo here. And it is true! The choice of music and the ambience also contribute to this. And it is very affordable. The one bad review that says you get sick here is complete nonsense! I'm very sensitive about things like that and we ate there every evening. They work very hygienically here and we never had problems in that regard at all. So don't believe anything like that!
