Farmers Markets
Seogwipo Olle Market is an indoor market that has been around since the 1960s, offering a variety of stalls selling fresh produce, seafood, and household goods. Located in Seogwipo, the second-largest city on Jeju Island in South Korea, this market is part of a region known for its rocky volcanic coastline and stunning natural landscapes.
I love markets and will always try to visit whenever I travel. There are plenty of souvenirs, food, seafood, snacks to be found here. The market is vibrant and colorful. We enjoyed the tangerine mochi that many stalls are offering. We bought some snacks to bring home. The apple mango was in season and it’s the best mango I had, so juicy and sweet and without fiber. It’s really expensive though.
Mei Y — Google review
It’s a “okay” local/tourist market, not really worth to pay a visit to be honest. They mainly sell souvenir gift set, fruits, dry fish, vegetable and some “street food”. As a tourist if I purposely to a place, I would expect a little bit more. But since I’m with young child and my mother, they’re not a scenery type of traveler and also time we’re very limited as we travel by cruise line, So we just picked a close local market and expect to do some snacking of street food and can do a little bit of shopping. The food there looks nice, but you can tell because of the number of people there they aren’t that fresh. As a souvenir if your next step allows you to bring along fruit, I think they have very nice orange there grow in Jeju. But too bad we were not in the season so we can only get the juice. It’s all right, but not a must visit. I think there is a bigger one on the northern side and scenery is awesome even on a simple road side. Should have gone to some famous scenery instead.
Chow K — Google review
Great spot to explore and try a wide variety of local foods. The market has an amazing mix of street food, snacks, and small stalls offering everything from traditional Jeju specialties to freshly made desserts and drinks. The atmosphere is lively and full of great smells everywhere you turn. There are plenty of options for all tastes, whether you’re into seafood, meat skewers, or sweet treats. Prices are reasonable, and you can easily make a fun meal out of sampling different stalls. A must-visit place in Seogwipo if you want to experience authentic Jeju flavors and a warm, bustling market vibe.
Wrinklefreebrain — Google review
If you ever find yourself on Jeju Island and are craving a taste of local life — from everyday produce to tourist-friendly snacks — Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market is a must-visit. This is my honest take after walking through its covered lanes, sampling its street food, and breathing in its lively atmosphere. From the moment you step in, the market hits you with color and noise — tanks of fresh seafood, baskets overflowing with tangerines and vegetables, chunks of black pork waiting to be grilled, and street-food stalls filling the air with sizzling, sweet, savory aromas. There are dozens of small shops and vendors selling everything: fresh produce and seafood, daily-use goods and souvenirs, handmade snacks and ready meals. The layout is pretty manageable — it’s large enough to feel like a full market, but small enough that you won’t get lost. Many visitors note it’s “easier to navigate” than the busier or more sprawling markets elsewhere. There are long benches set up for people to sit and enjoy what they bought — which I found really convenient when I bought a few street-food bites and just wanted to chill for a bit. Evenings are when the market feels most alive. As the sun sets, people — locals and travelers alike — flock here for snacks, seafood, grilled meats, and more. The blend of local flavor, hustle and bustle, and occasional tourist-friendly stalls gives the place a warm, energetic vibe without being chaotic. That said — it’s not all perfect. I did notice that, especially at the more tourist-oriented stalls, some portions felt a bit overpriced relative to size or quality. One report, for instance, claimed a squid dish was underwhelming for the price when ordered as takeout. And if you come too early in the morning, many of the shops may still be closed — the full market vibe truly builds later in the day. Overall: I’d say Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market is a must-visit for anyone wanting a slice of Jeju culture — especially if you love street food, local produce, or just the energy of a bustling traditional market. Great for sampling snacks, grabbing fresh fruit or seafood, picking up souvenirs, or just wandering around. If I go back to Jeju, I’ll be heading there again — but with slightly tempered expectations, especially at the tourist-heavy stalls.
Keane W — Google review
A bustling market full of energy, street food aromas, and a lively mix of young locals and tourists. There’s so much to see, taste, and buy. It's definitely worth a visit if you want a true slice of Jeju life. Highly recommend picking up some dried cuttlefish (for cooking) here — around ₩10,000 for 2–3 pieces, depending on size. One of the best-value finds in the market! We entered and park in the car park. Free parking avail at the carpark when we got there. A must-try local specialty are the tangerine mochi and tangerines. We like it so much we went twice and bought double the amount of mochi the second time. It’s filled with half a fresh tangerine, red bean paste, and wrapped in an ultra-soft mochi skin. It's absolutely divine! We also tried the giblets dish at the food court (actually it is pork intestines with rice cakes and mushrooms). It’s cooked teppanyaki-style, and they blow-torch the meat at the end. It had a smoky, rich, and delicious flavour. Picked up some Jeju rice cracker snacks (so tasty!) and also tried the fried abalone gimbap. The flavour was a bit mild, but thankfully it came with a dipping sauce. A vibrant, flavour-filled experience perfect for food lovers and anyone wanting to explore Jeju’s local scene.
Patricia L — Google review
Quite a cozy market. Most shops opens later in the day but many souvenir shops everywhere. Can compare prices btw the different shops for good deals. If u buy more at one shop, they will give u free stuff as well so recommend to shop all the snacks at one shop after u have compare the prices. There are shops with 1+1 as well. The size is quite small so can cover the whole place quickly.
Yugioh O — Google review
Maeil Olle Market is not large, but nifty, much like Seogwipo which is a small town. I like the ponds which are lined with benches that run the length of the covered main thoroughfare. They sell a lot of oranges in Jeju Island (but not cheap). There were many food stalls. We had dinner at "Jeok Sim".
K J — Google review
Wide variety of street food filled on one side, tangerines and souvenir shops on the other side 🤣 My favourite in this market is definitely the black pork bun and the flame grilled boneless chicken feet (I had it 3 times!!).

Waterfalls
Seogwipo Jeongbang Waterfall is a stunning 75-ft. cascade that plunges directly into the ocean, making it the only waterfall in Korea to do so. While swimming isn't recommended, visitors can wade into the water and get close to the waterfall during low tide. The surrounding area offers picturesque views of Sojeongbang waterfall from an observatory and provides a perfect spot for a picnic lunch on the rocks near the water.
This waterfall is set in a truly unique place — and it’s an incredibly rare sight: it flows directly into the sea. The view is absolutely breathtaking! And even though the area can get quite crowded, it’s still possible to find your own quiet space. You just need to stay a little longer, relax, and let the crowd drift away. Then, suddenly, you’ll feel as if nature belongs only to you — as if you and the waterfall become one. A quiet moment of unity, stillness, and wonder. 🌊✨🍃

Great location for a short stop. Nice views of a waterfall flowing into the sea. Good scenery that's accessible a relatively short walk from where you parked your car. The mists from the waterfall were so cooling in summer. It's like air conditioning.

🌊 Jeongbang Waterfall, Seogwipo (Jeju Island) Visited Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo is one of Jeju’s most famous waterfalls and the only one in Korea that falls directly into the sea. Amazing view. Entry is ₩2,000 per adult, and payment is card only (no cash accepted). The site opens at 9 am, and I recommend coming early for better photos and fewer crowds. The path involves a series of steep steps down to the viewing area. Midway, you’ll find a few local ladies selling fresh seafood (abalone, squid, clams, etc.) under the sun, sitting on small stools overlooking the sea. Prices start around ₩30,000 per plate, depending on what’s available. You can walk down to the foot of the falls but do so at your own risk. The path is rocky, uneven, and can be slippery, especially near the water. If you get close enough, you’ll feel the cool mist from the falls. The climb back up can be quite demanding, so it’s not ideal for the elderly or anyone with knee or leg pain. There are public toilets and plenty of parking spaces (both in front and behind the site). There's a few souvenir shops and sell local tangerines (Oct). This place is definitely worth a visit. It's a beautiful spot with dramatic views of the ocean and waterfall. Not at all strenuous for most visitors.
Patricia L — Google review
Very beautiful waterfall that cascades into the ocean. Lots of tourist visit this place and it was a little crowded when we visited so you have to be careful and patient when on the slippery rocky shore. There are many steps down and up from the clifside entry so wear good shoes.
Rick K — Google review
We visited the waterfall on November 17th and it was breathtaking. Highly recommended if you’re in Seogwipo. Lots of free parking and stores selling drinks and snacks. The rocks are quite slippery so do be careful.
Leanne T — Google review
A lovely place, definitely worth a visit! The entrance fee is only $1.50. Just be careful — the rocks near the viewpoint at the bottom of the waterfall can be quite slippery, and it’s easy to twist an ankle if you fall.
Paulina S — Google review
A sight to behold as the waterfalls dive directly into the sea. Not the tallest nor the b8ggest waterfalls. Yet, this uniqueness of water falling directly into the sea has it's own charm!
Keehong L — Google review
Small price for entry, local vendors selling tangerines and tangerine products. They are so sweet and the tangerines were also sweet. Well maintained waterfall. Was difficult to get to a good photographic spot so make sure you wear trainers.

Bodies of Water
Soesokkak, a famous tourist attraction in Jeju, is a scenic estuary known for its volcanic rock cliffs and popular activities like kayaking and traditional-raft rides. The area's name comes from the shape of a lying down cow, formed by the meeting of freshwater from Hyodoncheon Stream and saltwater. This hidden gem along Seogwipo spans seventy miles and offers breathtaking views reminiscent of landscapes in Oman and Japan.
Quiet place in the evening...butbhas 2 good cafes nearby, a noodle place and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach and the estuary. Very good boat ride.
Wei N — Google review
Kitty and I were on a cycling adventure around Jeju Island, and Soesokkak was one of our must-see stops. It was along the route for our "bike passport" which is a fun way to collect stamps at different spots around the island. We were excited to see that near the passport booth, there was a whole area dedicated to activities like kayaking and traditional boat rides. We decided to spend some time there, relaxing a_nd enjoying these activities. Soesokkak is a beautiful natural estuary located in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea. It's a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and unique geological formations.  The volcanic landscape is simply stunning, with dramatic rock formations, lush vegetation, and a peaceful stream flowing into the ocean. We were particularly captivated by the traditional Jeju boat rides, called "Teu." It was a unique and relaxing experience to glide across the estuary on a traditional boat.  The boatman was incredibly friendly and gave us a fascinating introduction to the area, adding to the enjoyment of the experience.  He even threw mandarin oranges to those standing on the cliff, which offered a fantastic view.  We also enjoyed the calm and serene atmosphere, which was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. We had to hunt around a bit to find the ticketing booth, and it was a little tricky communicating with the staff as they didn't understand English very well. We even asked if we could store our bikes while we were out on the water, but they weren't familiar with our tri-fold bikes and declined. Luckily, we met some friendly Koreans who had lived in Canada, and they helped us communicate with the staff. The activities cost 20,000 won for us for a 20-minute ride on the Teu. After buying our tickets, we cycled for about 1 minutes to the designated starting point and waited for our time slot. While waiting, we browsed a nearby shop selling souvenirs and mandarin oranges, a great way to support local vendors and pick up a little something to remember our trip. The Teu Ride itself was truly relaxing, and the views were astonishing. Even though it was a bit chilly, with the temperature around 13 degrees, everything felt so nice. The scenery was just breathtaking, and the activity itself was a great way to unwind. They also have informative signage with details about the area and activities, including clear instructions for kayakers in Korean, English, and Chinese. Soesokkak offers a variety of activities, such as kayaking and water biking, which would be a great way to explore the estuary further. The surrounding tangerine orchards added to the beauty of the area, and we loved the fresh scent of citrus in the air. We highly recommend Soesokkak to anyone visiting Jeju Island. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of the island and enjoy a relaxing and memorable experience. We're giving this spot 4 out of 5 stars for its beauty and the nice activities on offer.
Doraemon — Google review
You can ride a kayak. You can ride alone or together.(1~2people) its 10,000won per person. You can enjoy it for about 20 minutes. There are parking lots, too. I reccomand you to make a reservation.

Soesokkak estuary is a gorgeous natural spot known for its vibrant blue and turquoise waters that sparkle beautifully in the sunlight. It’s an ideal place for canoeing and kayaking, offering calm, clear waters surrounded by stunning scenery. The walking trails nearby provide a peaceful and scenic route, perfect for enjoying a relaxing stroll. Visitors will appreciate the ample free parking and clean restroom facilities, making it convenient for families and groups. Whether looking for outdoor adventure or a quiet nature walk, Soesokkak is highly recommended as a must-visit destination on Jeju Island. There's also convenience stores nearby that sell orange juice and ice cream!

We didn’t take the boat or kayak experience. Was on the way to lunch so brought kids to stop by the black beach… nice windy weather and cool space for kids to run around or play with rocks/pebbles
Sharon — Google review
My first time kayaking haha. You can ride alone or in pair. It costs 10,000 won/person for 20 minutes. Even if you don't want to do kayaking but still want to enjoy the place, you can ride the boat

A nice short kayak tour of 20 minutes. The course it's quite easy and anyone can do it. You can also join the group traditional boat. Take it easy and go slowly. There are birds and nice photo spots along the course. Recommended if you are in the area. The whole area can also be seen from some points along the road.

Hueree Nature Life Park, located on Jeju Island, is a serene and scenic destination perfect for a family outing. The park features an array of flowers, plants, and sculptures, with the main attraction being the Canola Flower Field. Visitors can also enjoy pony rides and interact with small animals such as pigs, horses, chickens, and rabbits. Additionally, there's an opportunity to pick halabong oranges and feed the famous black Jeju pigs.
The hydrangeas were blooming, the whole park is well planned and I particularly enjoyed the black pigs' and other farm animals' nursing area, where one can feed the animals with carrots. 💝🐷

Beautiful Park. Spent a good 2.5hrs there. The canola flowers were in full bloom and a vibrant yellow with Hallasan in the background. A pity the hydrangea green house was not open. It will open from 15th April 2025. There were several locations where Hallasan could be clearly seen. Such a lovely park.

Went in October and it was pink muhly grass season and the rest of the flowers were not in bloom. Paid a small entrance fee. The park is relatively small, about a 1h visit. They also have little animals for children to feed.

I recently visited Hueree Natural Life Park and had a wonderful time! The park is beautifully maintained with a wide variety of flora and fauna, offering a peaceful escape into nature. The walking trails are scenic and well-marked, making it easy to explore the lush surroundings. The highlight for me was the vibrant hydrangea garden, which was in full bloom. The green plum juice from the cafe is refreshing and delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting information about the park's natural features. Overall, it's a fantastic destination for nature lovers and families looking to spend a relaxing day outdoors. Highly recommend!

There are many entertainments in the park. We went in Autumn and managed to see muhly pink grass and hydrangea flowers. There are black pig shows which they would release the pigs and carrots can be bought to feed them. Tickets can also be bought for orange picking experience. Apart from that, there are also many photo taking opportunities. Good for family with kids.

Rugged cliff face formed from angular volcanic pillars of rock & listed as a national monument.
Maybe you're thinking, why should I pay for parking and then pay for entrance just to look at rocks? First of all, it costs very little, and secondly, the rock formations really are stunning, and in my opinion, worth it. You start out seeing cool shapes made by lava, and further on, you can see the cliff leading to the ocean with column-like shapes and watch the waves smash against it. On the other side, another dramatic scene unfolds. If you're not into witnessing what nature has wrought, maybe this isn't for you. I think you will be glad you came.

A great family friendly attraction where a short walk and a short flight of stairs leads to an amazing view of the volcanic rock formations. Witness the force of nature. There are various viewpoints with different vibes. There's also some gift shops with snacks nearby. Recommended!

Very beautiful reserve with gorgeous volcanic formations to see. If you are patient and quite, you will also see some beautiful butterflies and some birds. I recommend coming here with a tour guide to get the most of it .
Irina K — Google review
Ive been waiting to see this type of hexigonal rock formation for all of my life and I was glad that I got to see them on Jeju Island. The area was a bit crowded when we visited but it was well worth the trip. Entry into the park was around ₩2000 KRW (about $1.50 USD) and very well taken care of. Meticulously clean and very easy to walk. Be sure to grab a cup of the famous fresh Jeju Orange juice that is sold by the vendors before your viewing.
P J — Google review
A very beautiful and mesmerising place to visit in Jeju. The closely aligned stones were the result of volcanic remains over thousands of years ago. Many visitors from local and foreign tourists were here during the summer. It was also windy with sticky air felt through my skin.
ABJ — Google review
Absolutely beautiful during sunset. Free to park your car. Small entry fee with clean toilets at the car park. Lovely scenic trail to follow if you have time.
Amy C — Google review
Beautiful clifside area where the surf meets hexagonal lava rock formations created by lava cooled very quickly. Easy to walk from the parking lot to the ticketing area then to the cliffs. From the multiple viewing decks the unusual rocks can be easily seen. The area is beautifully presented with restrooms near. Two great little souvenir gift/snack shops near the entrance. Only downside is the paid parking that should be free with purchase of entry ticket.
Rick K — Google review
Beautiful place to visit on a good weather day, Jusangjeolli Cliff is a unique coastal spot on Jeju, with tall, hexagon-shaped rock columns formed by lava hitting the sea. It looks like a giant stone puzzle and is especially striking when waves crash against it. The area has safe paths and viewing decks, making it easy to explore and take photos. It’s a quick stop that’s perfect for nature lovers. Visit early or late for the best light and fewer people. A must-see natural wonder on the island!

Camellia Hill Botanical Garden, situated on a 20-hectare expanse inland from the south coast of Jeju Island, is a year-round arboretum that boasts an impressive collection of over 6,000 camellia trees representing more than 500 species. The garden also features diverse plant displays, including a large glass house showcasing various flora.
November 2024 visit. It’s been one year and I’m still reminiscing about Jeju and all the wonderful experiences we had there! Although it was warm and early in the season, I still enjoyed many beautiful blossoms. The shops and cafés were nice too. In particular, I loved the gift store with its camellia-themed souvenirs. The hand cream (see picture) transports to the Garden! First, there is a scent of green leaves and trees. Then, a subtle floral fragrance. I’ve never written a Google review about a hand cream before. Nowadays, I’m actually EXCITED every time it rains: I can use my umbrella with camellias. I will return!
Aleta L — Google review
I visited this place in late spring, during the seasonal transition and there was still some rain. The flowers are mostly kept in two warehouses, and personally, I preferred Warehouse 2, which also has a café. The walk through the place can be a bit long be prepared for that. I’m not sure if the whole garden will be in full bloom during summer, but if you’re looking for something different from the beach, this could be a nice little stop, but one-time visit is more than enough.

lovely place. lots of flowers. nice garden the entrance fee is relatively higher than the national parks in Jeju but it is worth it if the pink mummy is in season

Filled with camellia flowers. It’s a great season to go that can see half blossoms as well as about to. The colors are nice, the way that they are arranged is amazing. Great spot for photo taking. The glasshouse has more types for viewing.

For people going during summer, pls remember to bring umbrella! There is rarely any shades and I even got a sunburn. Went during July so managed to see hydrangeas! There is a map provided near the ticket booth and it’s really easy to navigate using the map as it is a one direction route (signs are available inside the garden too). No need to pre book tickets, can just buy at the booth.

If you're looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in Jeju, the black pork BBQ at Nammaene Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market is a must-try. The quality of the meat is exceptional, cooked to perfection by attentive staff who assist you throughout your meal. Ordering is made easy with an English menu on tablets, ensuring a smooth dining experience even if language barriers exist. While it may be on the pricier side, the authentic flavors and generous portions make it worth every penny.
Great place to have authentic Jeju black pork bbq. The server was very kind and place was very clean, welcoming.

Pork was not good, mostly fat and overcooked. Side dishes tasted old and not flavorful. Even the leaves were wilted. Service was nice but the food was terrible, I left with a stomach ache. This place offers you free egg soup with a 5 star review. Honestly probably the only reason it has good ratings. I am leaving this place with a stomach ache, seriously. Worst part was it was so expensive.

This place is a must-try local delicacy, and since there aren’t many English reviews, I wanted to share mine! They’re super efficient and conveniently located right in the middle of the night market. After grabbing dinner, you can simply stroll down the alley for some gift shopping and dessert! The staff are super friendly and even cook for you, which made it such a relaxing experience after a long day hiking Hallasan and soaking in a carbonated spa. The Korean black pork, which you can only find here on Jeju Island, is incredibly flavorful and tender! definitely lives up to the hype! Also, highly recommend this spot for solo travelers, a lot of Korean restaurants cater to two or more people, but here you can comfortably enjoy it alone. The perfect way to end the night!

Even if I am not very picky about the quality of sound, the speakers they are using really suck ;/ The music was supposed to be pleasing however, it really hurt my ears 😂 I truely recommend to invest a bit more on the speakers. Personally, their signature sauce called Meljeot(fermented anchovy dipping sauce) was too fishy. My girlfriend also said it is too fishy to eat ( you guys should know that I am a Korean. I know how meljeor is supposed to work haha) It is my first time to eat terribly fishy meljeot... The side dishes are not self service... you gotta ask the staff to refill them everytime you need one(it is kinda bothering) Gosari (bracken) is a real good match for pork. In many restaurants, they are all free. All you can eat. But in this place, there is a charge of 3000won for ome dish. We are gosari lovers. So this was a bummer The most important thing was that the quality of meat was not that bad. Im not saying it was exquisite.. but it was so so 😂😂😂 just above the average in my opinion. Overall, it was a bit disappointing 😭😭

It was the most delicious black pork I've ever eaten in Jeju Island. The incredible taste made me excited. Also, the owner is very nice

Highly overrated in my opinion. The cut we were served was way too fat and we saw what the other people at other tables were being served and it looked a lot better. Also, they did not bring everything the first time, I had to tell them something was missing. It's a shame as we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and it kind of ruined it.

The food is great!must try black pork. Service is also good, they will help you cook the meat. Atmosphere is okay…
Serene T — Google review
Came for the black pork during lunch. The staff insisted that for 3 pax, we need to order minimum 600g. That's fine. However, the black pork had too much fat to meat ratio. This is the worst place so far of us having black pork in jeju. Not recommended.

Cold noodle restaurant
Baeknyeon Gaya Milmyeon, also known as "100 Years," is a popular spot in Jeju for its Gogi Guksu, a local style of pork noodle soup. Despite offering only a few dishes, the restaurant's food is highly praised for its amazing taste. The chewy noodles and thick soup make for a satisfying meal, with options available for those who prefer milder flavors or spicier fare.
I came to Jean Island with my family for the first time in a long time, and it was windy weather. My family wanted to eat food with warm soup. So I searched for delicious food on the Internet, and my family came here to find it. My dad and I ordered 버섯온면, and my mom ordered 비빔온면. 버섯온면 were delicious because the noodles were chewy and the soup was thick. 비빔온면 were spicy for me because I cannot eat spicy food well. It was spicy, but I kept eating it because it was delicious. However, there was no parking lot in this store, so my family moved on foot from the hotel. Also, when I entered the store, the store was very large. But it was nice to be able to sit down without waiting because the were a lot of people. And after sitting down and waiting for 5 to 10 minutes, the food came out. So I really recommend this place. Not only the food I ate, but I'm sure everything else will be delicious.

Literally just walked into the shop, not knowing what to expect. And it did not disappoint! Amazing hot beef broth buckwheat noodles with sliced black pork that is so tasty and comforting. The prices are super affordable, too! Highly recommended!

Most restaurants are close by 3pm and only opens again at dinner time. Stumbled upon this that was still open and it was pretty crowded too. Food was great though the spicy noodle really packs a punch. Dumpling is realli flavourful too. The pork soup noodle really suits our taste too.

Very good place. We were lucky to find it when everything was closed and we are do happy that we did! There are only few plates that this restaurant make, but the taste is amazing! We ordered dumplings and a noodle soup with beef broth and pork boiled meet and it tasted really delicious. It's not obvious by the photos that the place is so good but I 100% reccomend it! It also seems quite local because during the time we ate there a lot of locals were coming to eat too and non of the tourist. The kimchi here is also really great, and you can come and take additional options of kimchi for free! If you are looking for a local dumplings & noodles you'll enjoy here for sure.

Korean restaurant
Daegijeong is a renowned restaurant that has been frequented by famous celebrities. Despite being on the pricier side, the food is absolutely delightful. The grilled cutlass fish stands out for its delicate and slightly sweet flavor with a crisp char. The abalone is also highly recommended for its excellence. While it may have typical tourist pricing, the proximity to ICC makes it convenient for visitors to access typical Jeju menus.
Grilled mackerel was juicy and big. Walking distance from the column rocks and ICC. English menu available on touch screen ordering system.

Delicious fish and ban chan. The grilled cutlass fish was excellent grilled, delicate, slightly sweet, the char gave it a little crispness. If it had been stewed, the flavor would have been lost. Abalone was excellent. Would definitely recommend. Not too expensive. Kamsamida!

I ordered the sea urchin bibimbap which turned out to be extremely bitter (means the sea urchin is not fresh), so unfortunately could not finish my meal and left with a bitter taste in my mouth... also a bit pricey so the entire meal was overall not enjoyable.

Came here because we didn't know what to eat after visiting Jusangjeolli cliffs. Very limited menu, but first time having cutlass fish. Gudumi Pork BBQ offers a unique dining experience with its Jeju pork, distinct from the more well-known black pork. The restaurant's attentive staff, who can speak English, provide excellent service and cook the pork belly and shoulder to perfection. The delicious BBQ is complemented by flavorful sauces and side dishes that enhance the meat's taste. Visitors highly recommend this place for its superb black pork and exceptional service, making it one of the best samgyupsal spots around.
구두미연탄구이 the meat is too good and nice atmosphere. There are only about 7 tables in the restaurant so we went there early before it was crowded. The butter egg rice was nice too.

This spot is a must-visit for Korean BBQ lovers. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The highlight, without a doubt, was the Jeju black pork — rich, tender, and bursting with flavor, grilled perfectly over charcoal right at the table. The side dishes complemented the meat beautifully, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. A fantastic place to enjoy authentic Jeju BBQ — absolutely divine!

Nestled in Jeju, Osulloc Tea Museum offers a delightful experience for tea enthusiasts. The museum showcases the cultural significance of tea in Korea and other regions, featuring various types of tea and green tea-infused dishes. Visitors can explore exhibits on green tea, take in panoramic countryside views from an observatory, and browse through a popular gift shop and cafe. While the museum itself is relatively small, it provides easy access to nearby attractions like Innisfree and delectable dining options.
We went on Sunday at around 3pm, and boy was it packed. We couldn't even park at premise, was diverted to secondary carpark then walk over to premise. Inside the Osulloc museum everything had to queue, order tea is one long queue, and buy the tea items another long queue. Although place was huge with many tables, it was packed with persons having their drinks / matcha cake or ice cream. Everyone was packing assorted tea leaves on basket to bring home to their colleagues and love ones. I did not know it was so popular. Was in queue of about 8 persons , crowd moved fast as there were alot of employees behind counter. We tried the drink Camelia flower blooming forest tea and Samdayeon Jeju tangerine tea. However it turns out jeju tangerine tea was more sour after taste (which i thought would be sweet) as compared to Camelia flower which was a bit sweet and nice refreshing taste. The main hall (museum) as mentioned by others is not really musuem but there are counters showcasing the different tea with samples for smelling, a huge portion dedicated to factory tea leaves being bag and where the staff are seen behind glass doing the final QC and packing into boxes. There is also an adjoining building which house the restaurant tea terrace noodle bar serving assorted Osulloc matcha noodle variety. (I did not try though) Customers can also walk outside to rows and rows of tea plantations , and a few were taking pictures, and a group was also using drone to take aerial picture / video. At museum, a lot of persons did not know there is a lift that can access to L2/L3 where you can view the surrounding land and tea leave field. Overall, if you are tea lover, it is definitely a must go, for me i am neutral being a English breakfast tea lover. It is new for me to visit tea place and have other types tea, so i would still recommend to stop by just to see and taste the different cakes. There is no entry ticket requirement, free entry.

I went here to see the famous Osulloc teahouse which is near their tea plantation. They sold multiple types of tea with unique variations such as sakura, tangerine, rose and other fruit extracts. Some cookies and baked goods were sold here but mostly contained alcohol/pork. There were some samples available for vistiors to try as well. I bought the matcha spread and it was great. They had a cafe inside where you can chill after you've done shopping.
ABJ — Google review
A refined green tea experience. The complex features a tea terrace noodle bar, an observation deck accessible by elevator, and scenic tea fields perfect for photos. But the real highlight was the Tea Stone Cellar, which resembles a luxury, winery like atmosphere. The free tea samples were of excellent quality, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The individual packed contains half the amount of tea at the same price, and the staff recommend the normal packaging while giving us complimentary tea bags to self pack. This outlet is far more than your typical Osulloc. It offers a wider variety of items, including several that aren’t available at the other usual branches. As always, all the Osulloc green tea snacks were exceptional. We actually preferred the snacks to the cafe items, and stocked up quite a bit. The only downside is the crowd, it was far busier than most places in Jeju, which took away the calm charm of Jeju.
Travis L — Google review
A solid tea museum with a nice café and shop. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. We tried Set B at the café, which came with Jeju Matcha Soft (Cup), Agabaum (Hallabong), and Jeju Udo Peanut Offreddo, plus a matcha latte. The highlight was the Matcha Strawberry Shortcake, which was genuinely excellent. Super flavourful, light and fluffy, with strawberry jam in the centre. The cream was nicely done too, not heavy at all. The total came to around ₩38,000. The tea shop has a good variety to browse through, and you can watch live tea roasting, which is quite interesting. They offer a premium tea course as well (₩60,000, or ₩54,000 for same-day bookings). One thing to note: it gets very crowded, so I'd suggest coming early if you want a more relaxed experience. Overall, a pleasant spot for tea lovers.
Wrinklefreebrain — Google review
An amazing Korean tea farm with multiple restaurants and huge gift shop in one location. All of the food is very fresh and the matcha noodles are handmade on site. The attached tea/dessert cafes food has some of the best matcha cake and ice cream ive ever tried. Osulloc was unfamiliar to me until I tried some of their Jeju Orange Tea a little over a year ago. I never considered myself to be a tea connoisseur, but it quickly altered my taste for good tea. There are multiple types that can only be found at this and if you've ever tried some of their products this location needs to be added to your lists if visiting Jeju. Only downside is a product of their mastery as it is very busy and crowded. Finding a seat may take some time and patience. Overall I highly recommend and will be visiting them again in the future.
P J — Google review
Arrived around 2:30 pm on a Friday and the main car park was full, so we had to park across the road and wait a bit for a spot. The area was very busy! We started at the Innisfree Cafe and then walked over to Osulloc Cafe, where we spent most of our time enjoying tea. Tried Set B — a dessert trio that’s basically a Jeju sampler: green tea, Hallabong, and Udo peanuts, all on one table!
Tan. W — Google review
Osulloc is synonymous with premium green tea in South Korea, particularly renowned for its roots on Jeju Island. Visitors generally have two distinct experiences: the Osulloc Tea Museum/Green Tea Fields on Jeju, and the Osulloc Tea Houses found in cities like Seoul and Busan. The Jeju experience is highly immersive. While the "museum" aspect is sometimes described as more of a large shop and cafe than a traditional museum, the expansive green tea fields surrounding it are breathtaking and provide fantastic photo opportunities. Visitors love the opportunity to stroll through the lush plantations and breathe in the fresh, tea-scented air. The cafe here is a major draw, offering a wide array of delicious green tea-infused desserts and beverages, with the matcha ice cream and green tea roll cake being consistent favorites. There's also an adjacent Innisfree Jeju House offering unique products and interactive experiences. Osulloc Tea Houses in the cities offer a more urban, yet still elegant, tea experience. They are praised for their cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and beautifully presented teas and matcha desserts. While some find the prices steep, the quality of the green tea is widely acknowledged as exceptional. Beyond drinks and sweets, Osulloc is also a popular place to purchase high-quality teas and tea-related products, often beautifully packaged for gifts. Overall, Osulloc delivers a sensory journey for tea lovers, whether amidst the serene fields of Jeju or in the stylish urban cafes.
Lucas C — Google review
What I like about the place is that it has a cafe, store and relaxing spaces around the area...not a huge museum though (unlike what I expected). You can also walk through the fields of tra plantations and innis free store is just nearby. Many IG worthy spots and is recommended for those who love tea as it is where you can buy authentic tea bags/loose leaf.

This was a cool interactive place that my kids loved. They are 10 and 12 years old. The authentic airplanes were so cool and some allowed you to sit in them. The space exhibit was great as well, with lot's of interactive displays and really large planets. There is also a very cool cafe on the 4th floor painted like you are in a black and white drawing. Everything is black and white.

12/2022: I thought the museum was very well put together, with a good balance of detailed information for older folks, and a playspace plus interactive exhibits for a younger audiences in mind. Most of the exhibit titles are in English, but the explanations are not so much in English, just FYI. 12/2024 UPDATED: We visited again and they were having a discount event in December and January. Entry is just 3,000 on weekends and holidays and includes the exhibit halls as well as the 5 extra theatre experiences! A VERY good value for spending cold winter days with energetic kids!!

Yongmeori Coast is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts. This rocky coastline offers stunning cliff formations and picturesque ocean views. The area is easily accessible by car, with the drive from Suweolbong to Sanbangsan and Yongmeori Coast taking around 30 minutes. Along the way, travelers can enjoy breathtaking coastal vistas and make stops for photo opportunities.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Mother nature outdid herself on this one. Jeju-do is full of natural beauty, but this blew me away. Pretty sure I took over 100 pictures while there. Does require some climbing up steep, rocky stairs at the end, but you can return the way you came if you can't make it.
M T — Google review
Nice outdoor experience to walk along sea cliffs at low tide. Good coastal views, crystal clear blue waters at some areas, interesting layered rock formations, occasional rock pools with small fish. Vendors serving live sashimi Abalone and other shellfish, cut and served on the spot.
Alan G — Google review
It takes about 30 minutes to walk around the cliffs and return to the entry point. When I visited, it was very hot and there were so many tourists that I couldn’t take as many photos as I wanted. Still, the viewpoints are very impressive. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting Jeju for the first time.
Alice R — Google review
Yongmeori Coast has very special and mesmorising rock formations. Been here twice and both times, I'm still fascinated by the rocks. This time, I entered about 15 minutes before closing time. Opening hours are short due to incoming tides and it had been raining days before this. So I was blessed to be able to visit. Wonders of the Creator. Saw ladies selling fresh shellfish but I doubt my stomach is strong enough. Must have good pair of shoes and legs. Terrain is not elderly friendly. View of Sanbangsan at the opposite side, at some point is good.
Snoop E — Google review
The best of all the attractions I’ve been to this round. Entrance fee is 2,000 won. Parking is a little tough when this opens. This attraction doesn’t open often (we had to check every morning and afternoon) as it depends on the wind and waves. It used to open everyday but due to climate change and rising waters, it’s now dependent on daily natural factors. Follow their IG page for updates. Once they declare that it is open I suggest you go! It’s amazing! Ull see the rugged coastline, walk along the coast and even get to taste fresh abalone sold by ajoomas (probably caught by the Hanyeos). Many other attractions such as the waterfalls have been kinda underwhelming but this is really one you need to experience for yourself and just marvel at nature’s forces. Note that the exit has very steep steps.

You have to walk quite a long way along the coast, and wearing Crocs might hurt your ankles! As I walked, I saw haenyeo (female divers) selling fresh seafood, and it brought back memories of my high school trip here 18 years ago. Back then, there were lots of Japanese students and it was much busier! I almost couldn’t visit Yongmeori Coast this time because of the tides, but luckily, everything worked out perfectly. The sunlight was dazzling. -BOFF

One of the best attractions in Jeju in my opinion - beautiful volcanic rock formations, majestic cliffs, ponds with their own biological ecosystem, women divers selling fresh seafood. The starting point has a great view of Sanbangsan mountain. Lots of photo spots, and lots of colors. There's a bay area with unbeatable views. Will come again!

Entrance tickets costs 2000krw. Once you enter, do not uturn, just follow along the paths and it leads you back to the same carpark. The Teddy Bear Museum, located in Jeju, offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. The museum showcases a diverse collection of teddy bears dressed in various costumes and lifelike poses, including designer teddy bears that are more than just toys. You can also admire antique teddy bears and even the world's smallest teddy bear. This family-friendly attraction is an ideal alternative to Loveland and is perfect for travelers with kids.
I visited with my wife. This is one of only two Teddy Bear Museums in the world. Inside, you can explore the history of teddy bears as well as various themed displays decorated with teddy bears, almost like Lego exhibits. And if you wish, you can even make your own teddy bear. It was a charming place, and we had a delightful time enjoying the cute and creative themes.

Came on a weekday morning, free 2 hours parking. Tickets at 12,000won for adult. Can buy tickets from kiosk at entrance. Place was quite small, takes about 1 hour to finish whole place. Suitable for kids below 10yo. Plenty of bear exhibitions and bear on display and a build a bear counter at the gift store. Most interesting part would prolly be the art part. Good activity to hide from the sun.

Much more interesting and impressive than I expected! The history stories and the remakes of classic works of art were very well-made! Saw the most expensive teddy and the 9 meter high bear! I also like that it only took me an hour to get through.

Great place that is rich with the history of teddy bears, relevant facts living up to its name (TB musuem). Inside it was a store where one can personalize a bear, and also a cafe fo refreshments. Tickets are available at the entrance and they also have parking space.

They’ve recreated famous historical events and paintings with teddy bears. Merch shop sells a variety of cute teddy bears. It’s a small museum but worth a visit if you are in the area.
Em — Google review
The museum is not that big, still, it is divided to several exhibitions. There are historical, art and big gallery shop with varieties of bears 🐻. Good to come with kids. Ticket costs 12k for an adult. Which is a bit pricy for this little museum.
Medina A — Google review
It a teddy bear place with lots and lots of teddy bear. You can DIY your teddy bear with 30000 or 50000 Won. There are a lot of shops opposite the museum too like Starbucks, Olive Young. Good to enjoy half a day there.
Jiff A — Google review
A good place to spend the morning, not too crowded. They have rich history of the bear displays and even “The most expensive bear” that’s auctioned. Bought a cute bear at the gift shop. Morning well spent!

Barbecue restaurant
Boss was friendly. Speaks decent English. Was very sweet to kiddo. Their side dishes are all homemade. We were a group of 2 adults n 1 kid and the boss said we need the 750g. The BBQ comes with anchovy sauce. He was careful to check how spicy we could take. Very filling!!!
P L — Google review
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The main problem is the quality in regard of the pretty high prize. We (2 people) were told our only option was to take 750gram of pork for 90.000 won. We weren't allowed to choose the 500 gram option on the menu. We dint know why. The kimchi unfortunately didn't taste very well and had a nuance of fishy taste. Perhaps there is this style of kimchi in korea with this fishy taste but after 6 weeks here this was the first time it tasted like this. The second main problem was the meat. Of the 750 gram we got about 3/4 was pure fat meat. On top of that the other tables got there slices of fat meat cut up very thin but we got it cut up in pretty big pieces. I'm sorry because the staff was so friendly but we can't give more stars and we wouldn't recommend this place because of the prize, the strange taste of the kimchi and the big fat pieces we got.

Superb! I tried many grilled pork restaurant in Jeju and another city like Bussn and Seoul but can not beat this one. For the pork itself, very juicy and mouthwatering as can take it without any sauce. Kind a frame grilled Jeju black pork with jeju-do style gravy(I called it myself). Parking lot available. Condiments like bean sprout and kimchi are very nice as well. Will dine here again for sure if I visit Jeju.
Tiddy D — Google review
Busy place, but great meat. Fresh Jeju-bred premium pork grilled to perfection. Fermented fish sauce that comes on the side is to die for.
Dan-Bi L — Google review
For 4 ppl, we had 1.5kg of pork lol Taste great and staff(owner) cook the meat nicely for you.
Kim N — Google review
What makes this place unique is the kimchi that comes with Jeju plack pork. This place provides kimchi that is well fermented, so it tends to be more sour. If you don't have appetite for kimchi, this place should not be much different from other jeju black port restaurants.

Buffet restaurant
Sky on 5 Dining offers a pricey but delightful buffet experience. The Christmas Day spread featured a carvery and an array of options including Peking duck and dumplings. While vegetarian choices were available, they were somewhat limited. Guests also enjoyed a lovely cheese platter and delectable desserts. This dining venue is known for its all-you-can-eat concept at a fixed price, making it one of the best buffets on the island.
Nice restaurant with excellent service, honour to the manager who make a perfect arrangement as my family member get sick during the trip. Buffet with nice dessert and free flow wine.

Absolutely delicious lunch buffet. The meat is tender and well marinated. I love the pollock and how it melts in my mouth. Dessert is a little underwhelming but the meat more than makes up for it. Definitely worth eating here. Best buffet I have eaten.

A lovely lunch buffet. Especially loved the grilled seafood, grilled beef, and I don't pass on the bread here. Delicious.

First of all....amazing staff. Quality service. The buffet was small but I suppose reasonably priced for what they offered. The atmosphere was nice. If you have a jeju residence ID you get 20% off the bill. Picture below: this was on our table and made us laugh. Absolutely Ridiculous. Ridiculous price and ridiculous advertising. We ended up ordering a coke and it came in a small glass filled with ice. 3,500 not well spent. 🤣

Scenic spot

Seopjikoji is a serene coastal area on the eastern shore of Jeju Island, offering a picturesque lighthouse, charming restaurants, and shops. The iconic Seopjikoji Lighthouse sits atop a hill with breathtaking ocean views and is locally believed to have wish-granting powers. This elegant white building has been featured in popular dramas and holds romantic significance for some.
A beautiful spot at the coast which is worth to visit to have long nice walks with a beautiful view. On the day I went it was very foggy but really mystical. I liked it a lot and had a great time on my travel through Jeju Island. Really liked the lava rocks at the coastal area where you could explore some crabs and little fishes and had a nice coffee break at the glass house.
Vicky L — Google review
Must stop view point area of the southern coast of Jeju Island where you get a fantastic view of the volcanic rocky coastline. Spend at least 1/2 to 1 hour. You stay longer if you wish walk the coastal scenic paths. There is no entrance fees for the scenic lookout point. Hold tight to your umbrellas as there is very strong coastal winds.
C.Y. C — Google review
Set aside about 1.5 to 2 hours to explore Seopjikoji on foot, unless you plan to dine at the café. Parking is tiered; we paid 3,000₩, though there’s a way to park for free at the far end of the site — we stumbled upon it while walking, but don’t have the exact spot. The walk itself is pleasant, with gentle slopes and stairs, offering views of both Seongsan Ilchulbong and Hallasan along the way. Connected by a short walk, the café Floyeast overlooks the sea, making it a lovely spot to chill and relax after exploring.

Definitely a go-to place in Jeju. It’s one of the few places that still holds on to the real character of Jeju. The volcanic cliffs and stone walls are stunning, and I can get up close to the black soil where grass grows. Just like twenty years ago, there are three horses grazing away (do they always keep it at three?). I actually enjoyed the little trails through the grass more than the main walkway.

Beautiful place with many views of the sea, the cape, lighthouse, cafe and Aqua Planet as well. Many carpark space. Many people there. There were food and drink stalls as well. Very refreshing place with lots of oxygen as there were many greeneries. Many awesome rock formations.
Noorzidah N — Google review
A beautiful and breathtaking place to visit in Jeju. The summer breeze made it really hot and sticky. I had the opportunity to climb up to the lighthouse (nearby) and take some pictures with it. There were many cafés available around the area for visitors to enjoy the scenery with their drinks. A medium hike was required to climb up to the lighthouse.
ABJ — Google review
This place was free to visit and there is a scenic trail option. There is a charge for the car park through. Adjacent to the car park are local store and vendors, some sell grilled seafood for a small price. All owned by local Koreans and they are friendly. Beautiful in October, not too cold but sunny.

Zoo
Aqua Planet Jeju is a modern aquarium located on Seopjikoji, boasting the title of the largest in Asia. It offers an immersive experience into the world of ocean ecology, featuring over 48,000 animals and plants. Visitors can explore diverse marine life including stingrays, sharks, seals, penguins, and otters. The aquarium also hosts captivating shows such as the Haenyeo Diver display and an underwater musical performance called "Looking for Sena.
My friend and I came here after finding it on Google Maps during planning and it was a wonderful surprise! This aquarium had lots of sea life to see, shows, and an art exhibit to explore. Although the price is higher than what you would typically pay for at an attraction, we would say it was worth it. We spent around four hours at Aqua Planet Jeju and were very pleased with our experience. Our highlights were the giant ocean tank and the penguins! PS: we headed here fairly early and it was nice to see that the traffic wasn't too heavy, especially for photo opportunities!
Bailee M — Google review
Went there on a rainy day as it was one of the few indoor activities you can do in Jeju. Not the best aquarium in Asia, it is quite small and most animals on exhibit are quite common. However, I did enjoy the atmosphere and the vibe of it. It is a good place to visit if the island is raining, but don't expect to see a big aquarium with many exotic animals. The highlight of this place is probably the show. I appreciate that they didn't use animals in the show anymore (apart from one sea lion at the very end). The main show were played by what looked like were former athletes and it was amazing. There was also a heart-warming story to it. There are like 4 shows a day, so you won't miss it. There was still parking even though it looked like the most busy day ever.
Natthakul — Google review
Wonderful few hours can be spent here mesmerised by the fishes, especially the large shark tank towards the end, and the sensory area with all the goldfish. The show was really engaging for all ages. Plenty of distractions along the way with play features, snacks. Definitely recommend to visit. Suggest more information (in English) about fish species. We used our Google lens a lot to find out about different ones.or for translating.

Aqua Planet Jeju, located on the picturesque Jeju Island, is touted as one of Asia's largest aquariums, offering an extensive and immersive marine experience. It's significantly larger than its counterparts in Seoul, boasting a vast exhibition space with over 48,000 marine creatures from 500 different species. Highlights include the impressive main tank, housing thousands of fish, sharks, and rays, and a captivating underwater tunnel that provides a 360-degree view of marine life. Visitors also rave about the Ocean Arena shows, featuring dynamic synchronized swimming and acrobatic performances, often including sea lions and dolphins. The Haenyeo diving performance, paying tribute to Jeju's iconic female divers, is another cultural highlight. Aqua Planet Jeju is consistently praised for its clean and well-maintained displays, offering both entertainment and educational value for all ages, making it ideal for families. While it's primarily an indoor attraction, providing a great option for rainy days, its location near Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seopjikoji allows for beautiful outdoor photo opportunities as well. Tickets for foreigners typically start around SGD 40-50, with combo options available that include the Ocean Arena show and special exhibitions. Many recommend purchasing tickets in advance and noting that certain offers are exclusive to non-Koreans. It's considered a worthwhile visit for marine enthusiasts and anyone seeking a captivating and educational experience on Jeju Island.

Aqua Planet is a place which you should visit. The design and architecture they have here are just unique. The way they shaped their aquarium is specially in a way you can watch and interact with these animals.

Bunker des Lumières, situated in Seongsan, Jeju, is an immersive media art exhibition housed in a bunker. It offers a captivating experience through the use of images, sound, and light. Currently showcasing the works of Monet, Renoir, Chagall, and Paul Klee, this exhibition creates a unique harmony with classical & jazz music alongside the beautiful paintings of these masters.
Really cool digital museum. Good photos and fun to walk around. A little expensive - the full show runs for a bit under an hour. But unique and well worth it.

Worth a visit!!! There were clear directions in every room to aid us if we got lost and the music and lights were beautiful. There were also a lot of meaning and facts in the visual screens that we never knew about. Like the cause of jeju island to form, the history and even some myths. There are many spots to take a nice picture and restrooms, which made the whole course way more convenient. The videos would last about 15 minutes each and will switch immediately. There are no interactive stations like normal teamlabs. I personally say that the choice of the location of this bunker was nice as it was very close to the sea for a little walk. And there is also a coffee museum adjacent. The shop was also miraculous and there were different antiques like files, notebooks and umbrellas. I apologise that the shop didn’t allow pictures.
YANCHIK K — Google review
The best thing you can do for an hour to forget about the rest. The art - optically and acistically - ist just great. The bunker is a little hidden (not sure if it can be reached by bus easily), but it is absolutely worth the effort. Close to it is a coffee museum, where one can relax, too. We came in the morning and we're initially alone before some families came. Excellent experience.

Very cool experience! Fun for taking beautiful pictures/videos and getting lost in the amazing artistry which is very impressive. There is a lovely cafe next door which does a sensational hot chocolate and has a chess board to make it feel like a homely environment 😀
Ravi P — Google review
Worth the visit! It's a beautiful immersive art exhibit with music accompanying it. The setting is an old remodeled bunker. We saw two exhibits within an hour, one of which was featuring Chagall. We loved it.
Claudio L — Google review
This is such a cool spot! It's in an old communications bunker and they host different immersive art exhibitions and it's lovely to just sit and watch the art with excellent music as well. The only thing that ruins it is other people thinking they need to go stand against the art and have their photo taken... Ad nauseum and people who let their kids run wild.
Brigid W — Google review
Really nice! Just be wary that it can be a tad overwhelming if you are a bit older, if so, then don't stay too long.
Max S — Google review
Much more beneficial if you purchase the tickets ahead of the time. Because that allows 10-20% discount! For those who has been to exhibition often, this is the place to be. The quality is always top notch on sync of sound and visuals. Rules are applied throughout the exhibition, making sure that no one is disrupting others enjoy and time. Parking spots are plenty, is not to be worried about. Make sure to use the restroom prior to entering the show, as there is no restroom available in the exhibition area. Once you exit, you can’t go back in. I’ve enjoyed the similar show when I was in NY. This isn’t sub par experience at all.

Jeju Folk Village is a restored 1890s village that showcases over 100 structures and period artifacts. It's famous for being the filming site of the hit TV series Dae Jang Geum. The attraction features 117 houses depicting scenes from different village lives, including Mountain Village, Hill-Country Village, Fishing Village, and Shamanism Village. Visitors can explore traditional wedding halls and even enjoy horseback riding picture-taking zones.
There’s a restaurant in this village that serves delicious and refreshing buckwheat noodles. Seems it is run by Jeju Farmers, the place is big and airy with a nice garden view. There are dry and soup versions, we like the dry buckwheat noodles better as it has a flavourful combination of toppings and unique sauces. Location is quite far away from town, and accessible by car.

A little display village of yesteryear. Lots of little huts , some that allows you to walk through and experience real life of the old days . Easy walk with lots of little spots to sit and relax . Has a little zoo with a few animals, rabbits , deer, geese, and pigs. Qwerty codes on all displays that allows you to listen to audio in a few different languages on your phone . Has 2 self-serving 7/11 stores for light refreshments. Overall, it was a nice experience, 8.5/10
Nicholas G — Google review
I don't normally review places but there is a huge problem with the village, the un aceptable treatment of the animals, came here for a few hours and noticed the animals in captivity. They are poorly kept in small cages/ pens which provide so little space for the animals to roam in. As We walked a skinny rabbit greeted us, practically begging for food so we feed it some grass. In the next few moments we watched as the entire group of rabbits and the 2 geese and all the deer in a seperate cage swiftly move to the gate to be fed as well. Seeing these events unfold we fed more grass to them as they bunched up upon the gate to get a feed. Evidentially shown they must not be feed much at all and you could really see how little they are cared for. Even with all the grass we feed them they still looked extremely hungry, searching for more food, still malnourished. In spite of the fact that they where extremely underfed these animals where being used as profit, signs and arrows directed us to a expensive vending machine holding a small bag of carrots. These animals are promoted as part of the 'experience' but there purpose is to be solely used as a a additional source of Bx one to the already expensive entry fee allowing for the greedy, unbothered owners to continue to profit of the poor, undeserving animals. I really hope the workers and management provide all the animals with the right, humane treatment but as I looked through the over review it is prevalent that the lack of care and treatment for the animals has been ongoing for many years. To anyone reading this should know they are paying the expensive entry fee to allow for these animals to continue to live this horrid life. Ask yourself, would I like to live my entire life trapped in a pen, malnourished and provided with so little care? We should be the voices to for the animals that are unable to speak up for themselves and not gifted with the pleasure of freedom. I hope you can look beyond the tourist scheme and change your mind when thinking of visiting this 'village' Shame on the people who run this place and ignore there wrongdoing.

Don't waste your $. About 50 stone houses with thatched roofs. Same, same, but different signs, different sizes. Maybe for Koreans, but a rip for foreign tourists. I asked for my $ back, and got it without sn argument.

I loved it, but honestly at one point you've seen it and it becomes quite repetitive. And you kind of have to follow the road. Funny to see 7/11's in the folk village though 😅.

Pretty amazing well preserved traditional houses and villages display on Jeju. I have recently watched some part of the KTV show called "When life gives you tangerine" which is based on life in Jeju so it's very cool to see these houses in real life. Turned out the Dae Jang Geum tv show that I saw more than 20 years ago also filmed at this location! I can see why people are crazy about following filming locations of their favourite show, cause it's pretty cool to see the real things! You can rent Hanbok to wear while walking around in the village and take photos. There is also a mini zoo on site where you can feed some animals with vegetables. There are some cafes and restaurants on the main market street for drinks and snacks as well. Overall, pretty interesting places and got some fun activities to do.

Mint Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its creative Western fusion cuisine. The menu features innovative dishes like hallabong salads, black pork pizza, and abalone pasta. While the prices reflect fine dining, the stunning views from the contemporary building designed by architect Tadao Ando make it worth every penny. Situated at the tip of Seopjikoji, diners can enjoy panoramic views of Jeju's seas and sky from their seats by the windows.
Well, we were absolutely delighted with our experience at Mint! Come for the architecture, stay for the food 💯🙌 my partner and I got the set menu, and they catered wonderfully to my being plant based, whilst my partner enjoyed the meat and seafood dishes. The staff were so attentive and really wanted to make our experience great. We have such great memories of Mint; the views, the food and the team all really made it an exceptional experience. 🌿 Mint Restaurant at Phoenix – unforgettable views and a refined dining experience I’d been wanting to try this place for ages — finally booked it two weeks in advance for the first seating. If you park inside Phoenix, just tell the front desk you’re here for Mint, and they’ll arrange a shuttle cart to the restaurant. Such a fun start! 🙌 The view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Our table was perfect, and everything felt so thoughtfully designed. Mint is a course-only restaurant, and each dish was introduced with care and detailed explanation. We started with: • crispy gim-bugak • onion focaccia • baguette with beet and burrata cheese • tangy salad with delicious butter on the side ❣️ Then came the cream pasta topped with parmesan foam, with soft, tender octopus inside — the texture was amazing. For dessert, we had coffee ice cream with your choice of Americano or canola flower tea. And yes… I really needed that coffee, and it totally hit the spot ☕ The tea was lovely too — fragrant and floral. Also, the building itself? So elegant and unique. Mint Restaurant is not just a meal — it’s a full experience.

Fine dining place with great sea view and so-so service. Most staff were quite aloof; not sure whether it’s due to the language barrier. Food is great though. We ordered the set lunch with Salmon Steak and Beef Steak. Soup portion was really small, but tasty enough. Salmon Steak was nicely done. Beef (medium rare) was hard to cut, so we thought it was overdone. But it was actually very tender and tasty - the issue turned out to be the knife. Presentation was also nice!

Pasta and risotto were not good, but other plates were good. Recommend having lunch course with steak. Great view. Don’t expect 5 star type of experience as the service is not the top quality: ordering and serving is being done by robots and by self ordering tablets.

The thick and juicy pork slices are particularly noteworthy. While the prices are reasonable, the restaurant tends to have long wait times due to its popularity among locals and tourists alike. It's advisable to make a reservation using their app to avoid extended waiting periods.
Good food made by locals, dont expect 5 star japanese noodles, just expect a delicious meal at a fair price you wont be disappointed, we also had the dumplings and theyre delicious.

Easy to order and pay directly at the table via the tablet. The cold noodles with black pork are an absolute delight, although some might find them on the spicier side. It's a busy spot, so you might need to wait for 15-30 minutes if you're a group of 3-5 people. Service is quick, but you're also expected to leave once you're done with your food, so don't expected a prolonged relaxing lunch break.

Soup noodle is great. The smaller bowl is generous enough. The boiled pork is awesome.

Very popular. We waited 30 minutes for a seat when we were there at 11:30am on a weekday. If you do not have a local korean number the manager will give you a number on a piece of paper and tells you when to come to him again. No english menu available here, but as with most pork noodle shops the menu is pretty straightforward. Pork broth noodle with pork slices, bibim noodles with pork, anchovy broth noodle only, pork slices and mandu. Most people seem to order pork noodles, bibim noodles and a side of pork slices (dombe). We had the set for 2 - one bowl each of pork noodles and bibim noodles, half serving of dombe and assorted kimchi for 35000KRW. Pay in advance after ordering your meal. Broth is thick and flavorful with al dente noodles. Bibim noodles is a good balance of spicy, sour and sweet. Well worth the long wait. Parking is easily available. This shop is a standalone building with private parking. This was also a filming site from k-drama Attorney Woo.

Admittedly it was winter when I visited but this doesn’t make the soup noodles any less yummy - it’s light, with a tinge of spice and spring onion adds a slight kick. Side of pork is a must order - usual condiments like garlic and chillies available but there’s also a local version of “chinchalok” (fermented shrimp) that’s saltish and less pungent.

One of the famous jeju island noodle place! Ordered a ‘couple set’ and additional gogi noodle. It was perfectly enough portion for three people and taste deserve its fame. It always has long waiting so you may need to download an app for the reservation.

There was a hour long queue when we got there for lunch. Got a queue number and went to nearby to do some sightseeing in the meantime. The noodles were so so, but broth was very favorful. The pork was also very tender. Ample parking.

The food is really yummy and the prices not too high. It's a famous spot amongst Koreans. Because of this you might have to put your name on the waiting list. Be ready to wait up to an hours.

Day 4

Keep it simple
For day 4, these 5 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Seogwipo. Start the day with 1100 Highland Ecological Swamp and make your way through the city to get to 마린스테이지_퍼시픽리솜(Marine Stage_Pacific Resom). This should take about 8 hours of your day.

In December this place turns into a winter wonderland, but be prepared because it is very busy. You can sled or build a snowman and the views are stunning. Our family had a good time here.

There is an elevated wooden platform where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll for a few minutes. Some of the views from the platform are quite spectacular, while others are more modest. Despite its proximity to the motorway, the air remains surprisingly fresh. If you have never visited a wetland before, this charming miniature wetland provides a convenient and delightful introduction.

Only about 25+ minutes drive from the center of Jeju, you will be reaching at the swamp. It’s high elevation allows the ever lasting snow to remain, which definitely allows for superb view. Parking is the tricky one for those who are driving to this location. Make sure to park along the shoulder or be lucky to find a spot at the site. Entrance normally don’t form a line, allowing you to enter the pre-made trail. Overall, trail walking time is about 15-20mins. Lots of view points and picture snap spot! Go when it’s near winter or at winter time. The view of over spreader white snow is a definite watch!

Highest portion of Mt Hallasan reachable via car. Don’t recommend a visit though as there’s not much there except for a short walking path with not much to see and a GS25 where you can chill in.

Hallasan National Park, located on Jeju Island in South Korea, is centered around the majestic Hallasan Mountain, the highest peak in the country. The mountain is surrounded by 368 parasitic volcanoes known as Oreums and offers sweeping views of the island. Designated as a national park in 1970, it is a haven for alpine plants and provides numerous hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts to explore its geological wonders.
Great hike, there are 2 trails only (may 2015). Both are really hard with variable difficulty. I recommend starting at 5:00am to reach the summit early and take time to enjoy the view with just a few people. The whole trip takes around 9-10 hours. If you don't get the shelter before 12:30, you won't be allowed to reach the peak. Bring food and a lot of water.

Nice 2000m peak, we did the Seonpanak trail I think it was called. Easiest one and as someone recently fit, I didn't struggle. Really cool views just make sure to go when it's not cloudy!!!
Alex W — Google review
A truly amazing hike, but preparation is key. * Authorization is required to climb the volcano, so book your spot well in advance. * The path has checkpoints, so a very early start is essential to make it to the top. * This is a tough, challenging hike to 2000m, so be ready for a good workout. * Don't count on a clear view from the summit. It's often foggy due to the climate, but the experience is still worth it!

Not for people who cannot walk. Travel can last up to 9 hours. Bring food and water. The trail is well maintained, restrooms a bit fat from each other (only on designated stations)

Most strenuous hike in my life - bring lots of water and food. Paths are rocky and you need to be sure footed, otherwise risk hurting yourself. Views on the top were magnificent but not sure about the reward to effort ratio

🏔️ Snowy Hallasan – a winter wonderland and a hike I’ll never forget After Finland, I hadn’t walked through snow like this in years — and it was pure magic. Climbing to Baengnokdam Crater felt like stepping into a real-life Frozen scene. We started at Seongpanak Trail at 8am and reached the summit at around 1:10pm, hiking slowly and enjoying the view while chatting with my mom. From the top, you can see all the way out to the ocean… it took my breath away. We took the Gwaneumsa Trail down, and I’m SO glad we did. While Seongpanak was more straightforward, Gwaneumsa was jaw-droppingly beautiful — snow-covered trees, dramatic cliffs, views that looked magical in every single photo. It’s a bit more slippery and challenging than Seongpanak, but 100% worth it. My mom started struggling near the summit and kept joking, “Carry me down!” 😅 Even though she hikes five times a week, Hallasan was no joke By the time we finished around 5:30pm, I felt this overwhelming sense of joy and strength — like I had absorbed good energy from the highest point in Korea. I probably wouldn’t have done this on my own, but I’m so thankful my mom invited me to go. One of the most meaningful hikes of my life 💚
Yesran — Google review
Was there on 19/11/25. Wasn't expecting snow and was not prepared. Did not managed to hike up the mountain. Snow was from previous night dropped in temperature.
C L — Google review
April 6. Beautiful view on top with tons of people. The trail is fully covered in ice and snow that made the hike extremely brutal. There’s a line of people at the top line up for the picture. Reservation entrance and time entry is strictly implemented. We went up the entrance on the east side (Seongpanak)-less steep and went down the one on the north which is extremely steep with gorgeous view (Gwaneumsa). There are multiple rest stops and nice bathrooms along the trail, however the bathroom has no water and soap. No trashcans along the trail and rest stop.

Art Galleries
Bonte Museum, which means "original form" in Korean, is a contemporary museum located in southwest Jeju. It was established in 2012 to showcase both traditional Korean art and contemporary artworks from around the globe. The museum complex comprises several buildings housing five galleries and other facilities, all seamlessly connected by gardens designed by renowned Japanese architect Ando Tadao. Visitors can explore various exhibits including traditional Korean crafts like wooden tray-tables and wrapping cloths, as well as modern art installations.
One of my favourite places to go in Jeju island during my trip there. A large art space that has the mixture of both traditional side and mordern aspect. I really spent my time there and enjoyed those pieces. (Shoutout to RM of BTS for suggesting this art museum) However, you should be aware that this place is very far away from the main city, which if you are going to take the bus like I do, it will take at least 4 hours in total (for forth and back) to go from Jeju city. Ticket price was also a bit expensive in my view point, but it’s alright. Overall, if you are planning to travel to Jeju, consider this art museum.
Hà N — Google review
The Bonte Museum is quite small in size. While it offers an interesting experience, in my humble opinion, the entrance fee of 30,000 won is rather steep. The only aspects I genuinely appreciated were the café on-site, the restrooms, and the area near the café, which featured a stunning view of the surrounding nature. If you are looking to spend time in a quiet and cozy place, you may find it pleasant to relax there.
Aleksandra B — Google review
A complete waste of time. We drove 1.5h from the east—we’re art and architecture enthusiasts and were looking forward to this museum. This place was the ultimate letdown. Waste of my time and money. 1. Exhibitions were mid, 5/10 at best. Collection and curation very very very underwhelming. 2. Not worth 30,000 won 3. Staff was extremely rude, subtly roll her eyes, slammed things (lightly but WAD??), showed and attitude and shouted at us 4. After multiple museum runs this trip, I can conclude Jeju is scenic and has great architecture with bad service and not-so-worth-the-trip art
Natalyn A — Google review
The Bonte Museum in Jeju offers a well-balanced mix of art, culture, and architecture that reflects the island’s calm and refined character. Designed by Ando Tadao, the building features his signature minimalist style, with clean lines and a layout that blends naturally into the landscape. Inside, visitors can find an impressive display of Korean craft ware, including Joseon dynasty furniture and traditional accessories. The exhibitions are neatly organised and easy to enjoy, giving a clear look at Korea’s artistic traditions. There is also an interactive installation located in a separate building—a light chamber that provides an engaging and immersive experience, contrasting nicely with the quieter tone of the main galleries. A café that overlooks the pond is located within the museum's main building, which now only serves drinks. It previously offered meals such as Jeju black pork donkatsu, but even with a smaller menu, it remains a comfortable spot for a short rest. Parking is straightforward, and the museum’s slightly elevated location provides nice sea views, though the ocean is some distance away. Overall, the Bonte Museum is a pleasant and well-designed place to visit for anyone interested in Korean craftsmanship, contemporary installations, and modern architecture.

The star of this museum is the architecture. Tadao Ando did an excellent job and the space is inspiring, grand yet intimate at the same time. I came very early so I had most of it to myself. The Yayao room is intriguing but I wouldn’t say it’s the highlight. Art works were few but curated well. And the gardens were beautiful. A definite must if you’re an art lover.
Jules D — Google review
We really enjoyed navigating Bonte Museum. I could see that the architect carefully thought out about jumping one gallery to another, as it felt like we were trying to tap a new place for each gallery. Although the museum is relatively small, I loved each of Mr. Ando Tadao's touch, as I am a huge fan of his. Each gallery has a good range of traditional Korean art and bits of contemporary art and famous Yayoi Kusama. If you missed Inifinity Mirror, this place offers the experience, without any queue. Although the ticket was pricy (₩30,000 for each adult), we enjoyed our time at the quiet, well curated museum.

This is one of my FAVORITE museums due to the ambience and design! The Bonte Museum in Jeju, South Korea, is a striking example of minimalist architecture by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Nestled within the island’s natural landscape, the museum blends seamlessly with its surroundings, using concrete, glass, and light to create a serene, meditative space. Ando’s design emphasizes simplicity and harmony, allowing the art to shine while fostering a deep connection between the interior and the surrounding environment. The quiet elegance of the building, with its careful play of light and shadow, enhances the beauty of both the art and nature, making the Bonte Museum a tranquil retreat for the soul. Thank You!

Yeomiji Botanical Garden is a vast and picturesque botanical garden that boasts a modern greenhouse housing numerous plant species. The indoor garden spans 3 acres and features a towering observation tower at its center, along with diverse floral and plant exhibitions such as the Mystery Garden, aquatic gardens, cactus gardens, jungle gardens, and tropical fruits garden. Additionally, the outdoor gardens cover 24 acres and showcase various themed areas including Japanese, Korean, French lawns, and more.
Beautiful gardens, very clean and well maintained. They have the biggest greenhouse I've ever seen with a 360° observatory point at the top, and a cosy reading area on the second floor.

It was an okay place to visit once, but I wouldn’t go back. There’s a small library inside the garden, so if you have a lot of time to spare, it might be a nice spot to relax for a bit. Maybe my expectations were too high since it’s advertised as the biggest indoor garden in Korea, but I didn’t find it particularly eye-catching or memorable. The plants were fairly basic and not as abundant as I expected. Overall, the place could really benefit from better maintenance.
Global V — Google review
I liked this place, it was peaceful. It's fairly wheelchair accessible - there are pathways which get around the stairs though you sometimes have to go quite a bit further. However some inclines are a bit steep and you can't access a couple of bits e.g. in the Japanese garden
Victoria — Google review
It’s over priced but still worth a visit. The grounds are a bit meh, buy the star attraction is the genuinely impressive glass house. Fabulously well curated and separated into well defined zones, it is meticulously well maintained and really quite beautiful. If you’re dodging the rain (Jeju is often miserably wet) it’s a decent option.
Steve S — Google review
Someone said it’s a perfect spot for a rainy day in Jeju, but it’s wrong!!! Don’t get me wrong, the glasshouse garden was big, impressive and pretty, but the outside garden was prettier. And on the rainy day, you can’t see Hallasan and the views…. I think it will be great to pack lunch on a sunny day and enjoy the beautiful garden all day.

Nice place to visit. A lot of walking required plus up and down hills. The greenhouse is nice but need more signage to identify the trees or flowers there. The Italian garden is nice.

Interesting dolphin shows for kids. You have to line up for the toilet I watched the show but I felt a bit bored because it wasn't for adults. I loved how they zoom on the attendees and take photos on the screen !

They have very smart and talented animals.
Larz C — Google review
I went there with my friends, thinking it was an aquarium, and I do not recommend this place at all! What they're doing to this beautiful animals is pure cruelty. We can obviously see the intensive training, the abuse and the fear these poor animals (monkeys, dolphins) are going through. There was a baby dolphin completely lost and unable to do the show in this tiny tank, but they forced the adults to do the show again and again, until the baby succeeded it. The baby ended up banging his head on the wall.. It was just unbearable to watch. After that, no food in return for the others. The animals shouldn't be here, and treated like that. Im surprised no one launched a petition against this facility yet. Its just pure sadness, cruelty. It's not something children should see... I do not recommend it.

Korean barbecue restaurant
Childonga Jungmun is a renowned restaurant in Jeju, known for serving the famous black pork. The interior may not stand out, but the food is exceptional. It's considered the most popular black pork BBQ spot in Jeju with franchises across different neighborhoods including Seogwipo. Despite limited English communication from staff, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. Customers recommend trying their juicy and generous portions of black pork along with other dishes like kimchi stew and makgeolli.
The meat was wonderful. The staff cooks for you and are very friendly. Went on a Sunday night and it was empty. Was told Saturday nights are packed. Note They do not have anything else other than bbq pork.

Jeju has its own specialty with pork, called Black pig. Childonga restaurant appear to be franchise (as I was driving around Jeju, I have seen about 5 different location of Childonga). The systematic portion where each waiters are given responsibility to serve each table by themselves, they pay more attention as they cook for the customers. The special sauce is good! Side dishes are refillable to your liking! Parking lots is plenty, prices are ‘decent’. I highly recommend this place for those who are looking for quick fix.

Ordered 2 portion of black pork as recommended by the resto. The staff will be on service for roasting, so you just have to sit down refill free Kimchi and watch til it's ready to eat. There are Salt/Oil and Anchovy sauce available. Better follow the staff recommendation. And the Anchovy sauce is something you should not missed!

Wind 1947 offers an exhilarating cart riding experience on its 1,947m track, one of the longest in the country. The scenic views of Mount Halla add to the thrill. Unlike other vendors, Wind 1947 provides go-karts for two people, allowing you to enjoy the ride with a partner or child. The price is reasonable and there's a waiting area with a cafe and souvenir shop.
Worth the price! Love the wind and the view as I’m go karting! Slightly cheaper when I bought it online. Superb track compared to what I’m used to in Singapore and Malaysia xD

I came here to drive a kart. There was a parking lot at the entrance of the theme park, and there was a cafe that sold tickets after walking a little. And it rained the day before, so I had to wear yellow raincoat pants, but it was very hot. The cart equipment had a bit of a smell, probably because it was used by many people. And the handle of the kart did not move well, and the driving time was short.
Lucas — Google review
Kitty and I had a fantastic time at Wind 1947. It was a super exciting experience, and Kitty loved it. I've been go-karting a few times before, but this was Kitty's first time, and she was super excited. This was also my first time trying a two-seater go-kart. We arrived around 12:40 and were surprised to see the whole go-kart track empty, which made us worried no one was racing. But then we realized there was a specific time for the go-kart races to start. Before buying our tickets, we had to fill out an indemnity form, which is standard for these types of activities. We spent a relaxing 20 minutes in the cafe, which is also the waiting area. At 1 p.m., we were led to the go-kart starting point where everyone got their headgear. Everything was explained in Korean, and there was no English or Chinese, which made things a bit tricky. Even the safety briefing was in Korean, so Kitty and I didn't understand most of it. When we were seated in the go-kart, they gave instructions and explained the safety precautions, but we couldn't understand any of it. Despite the language barrier, Kitty and I had a great time racing. The wind was strong, and we had a blast zooming around the track. We decided to go for the 10 km route, which cost 50,000 won for the two of us, and we chose the two-seater go-kart so we could ride together. After a few rounds, I swapped with Kitty so she could drive too. Kitty actually tracked our total distance travelled with her Garmin, and we completed the 10 km route before they called us in to return the go-karts. The park also has an indoor survival experience centre and laser tag. One thing we found a bit challenging was the language barrier. The receptionist at the ticket counter didn't speak English or Chinese, and it seemed like most of the staff didn't either. It made communicating a bit difficult, especially when trying to figure out the different packages and options. They have a few packages available that include different combinations of go-karting, survival centre activities, and food and drink options. We found a price list posted that showed various options for go-karting based on track length, number of laps, and whether it's a single or double rider kart. The prices range from 25,000 won to 50,000 won. They also have height restrictions for riders, which are clearly posted. Overall, it was the perfect day trip, full of action and fun. We recommend Wind 1947 to anyone visiting Jeju Island. Just be prepared for a potential language barrier.

This is a fun activity but the organization is not optimal. Hygiene of the equipment is definitely lacking. There is also a bunch of teenagers “wanna be fast and furious”. Worth doing again at less busier times.

Wind 1947 (Jeju Island): An Exciting Go-Karting Adventure (4/5 Stars) Rating: • Go-Karting Experience: 4.5/5 (Thrilling go-karting experience, great track, fun two-seater option) • Value: 4/5 (Reasonable prices for the go-karting packages) • Language Barrier: 3/5 (Limited English or Chinese communication, which made understanding instructions and options a bit tricky) Overall: 4/5 Donkey and I had a fantastic time at Wind 1947. It was a super exciting experience, and I loved it. I've been go-karting a few times before, but this was my first time, and I was super excited. Even the safety briefing was in Korean, so Donkey and I didn't understand most of it. When we were seated in the go-kart, they gave instructions and explained the safety precautions, but we couldn't understand any of it. Despite the language barrier, Donkey and I had a great time racing. The wind was strong, and we had a blast zooming around the track. We decided to go for the 10 km route, which cost 50,000 won for the two of us, and we chose the two-seater go-kart so we could ride together. After a few rounds, donkey swapped with me so i could drive too. I actually tracked our total distance travelled with my Garmin, and we completed the 10 km route before they called us in to return the go-karts.

Went for four rounds for 35000 won. It was very fun. It was a good weather day so lucky us! Helmet for head and kneecap provided for safety purposes. Will definitely come again!
Tsuki — Google review
Been to this place twice with friends and family. Price was decent, and the staff might have a little difficulty understanding English. The track was very fun, take the right lane at the split road for a slightly more challenging course. Usually you would have to wait for about 15 - 20 mins before you're able to get on the track. The waiting area has a nice cafe and a small place to purchase souvenirs.

We had a cart racing experience. I made a reservation in advance using the Jeju pass. I have to pay an additional fee and get on. It has the longest course(1.947km) in Jeju Island. The course was long, so it was full of excitement. I went around the course quickly and took a rest.

The Lee Jung Seob Art Gallery is a must-visit museum in Jeju, South Korea. It opened its doors in 1995 and offers a unique experience for art enthusiasts. The gallery showcases the masterpieces of Lee Jung-Seop, as well as paintings by renowned artists Park Soo-Keun and Lee Ung-No. Visitors can explore the restored former home of the late painter, gaining insight into his life on Jeju Island.
The story about him its really sad. He have to say goodbye to his lovely wife because the situation until his last breath. If you choose Seogwipo for living, you have to visit him, so you can feel the sad atmo directly.

Korean folk artist Lee Jung Seob. The museum is small but you can see and feel his spirit. You can see his house where he used to live with his wife and kids which is super tiny! Also, you can feel how much Jeju people loved the artist. The street is filled with his art and spirit. I highly recommend this place to visit when you are in Jeju. There is a market nearby that you can visit as well.

Good art and a nice view from 3rd floor. A tranquil place. Nice artists walk and gardens.
Wendy B — Google review
While I had some vague knowledge beforehand of the artist, Lee Jung Seop, it was fascinating to visit a museum dedicated to his short-lived but influential art. What particularly fascinated me were hi handwritten love letters to his wife expressing his sorrow at his separation from her and their two sons due to World War II. (His being in Korea and they in Japan.) It was said to have driven him ultimately to an untimely grave. Although in his namesake, the museum admirably does not shy away from showing all aspects of the man; the good and the ugly.

Pretty small gallery with limited number of artworks, most of which I didn’t find particularly interesting. It is free to enter in September, but probably not worth travelling far to see.

Saeseom Island Saeyeongyo Bridge is a modern, cable-stayed pedestrian overpass with a sail-shaped tower that lights up beautifully at night. It connects to Saeseom Island and offers stunning views of Seogwipo port area. The island itself is known for its natural beauty and is a great spot for birdwatching.
As a hint, just take your time. You'll miss so much by rushing in and out of places you visit. It's a great sight to stroll by, taking in the views. The bridge is perfect for that. Watching the waves, fishing trawlers, the scenery and surroundings. Catching up on a breath of fresh air and watching the wild life wandering around. Definitely worth the time spent to give yourselves a break 😉 It can be a bit of a hike over this bridge but worth the effort. Hope you're enjoying your day. Perfect

Our Hotel Yeon had a nice view of Saeyeongyo Bridge and Saeseom Island. It was great to have breakfast on our balcony with the view of the Bridge and harbour. At night, the Bridge is lit up. I walked to and over the Bridge after dinner. It is very picturesque.

I have been wanting to visit this bridge after watching 'extraordinary attorney Woo'. It is the bridge connection Jeju to Saeseom Island. It is not a very long bridge but a distance for family and kids. It is a free bridge, you don't buy tickets to see it. It is clean, beautiful and the view you get is spectacular. You get the ocean view, mainland Jeju and Saeseom Island. At the middle part of the bridge, there is a round stairs that gets you to a small platform down. The kids enjoy running up and down the bridge. A good place to take scenic photos, family photos or selfies. It you are visiting the bridge, I would also recommend that you make time to also visit Saeseom Island :) Visited: February 2025

Saeyeongyo Bridge and Saeseom Island (Seogwipo): A Breathtaking Bridge and Picturesque Island (4.5/5 Stars) Rating: • Bridge: 5/5 (Stunning views, unique design resembling a traditional Jeju log boat, beautiful illuminated tower) • Island: 4/5 (Lovely walking paths, theme photo zone, public square, wooden deck road) Overall: 4.5/5 After a delightful visit to Gomggom Kkotdarak, Donkey and I hopped on our bikes and continued our round island adventure. Our next stop was Saeyeongyo Bridge, a beautiful pedestrian bridge connecting Seogwipo Port to Saeseom Island. We were excited to cycle up the bridge and enjoy the breeze and the amazing views. It was a truly breathtaking experience, enjoying the stunning views of the harbour, the island, and the coastline. The bridge is designed to resemble a traditional Jeju log boat, and it's a striking landmark. We especially loved the illuminated tower, which looks like a sail. Saeseom Island, also known as Bird Island, is a lovely little island with walking paths and a theme photo zone. It's a great place to explore and take some photos. We also enjoyed the public square and the wooden deck road.

Beautiful for a walk during sunset. We managed to catch the sunset and it was splendid. We went in October so was a bit cold but there is a long trail you can follow for more scenic views.
Amy C — Google review
Who would have imagine that a small little bridge can become the seaside icon of Seogwipo? We stopped by for sunset after visiting Cheongjiyeong waterfalls. What make this quaint place special is the beautiful sunset. We are glad we made it before sunset. Not on my bucket list but definitely one of those small things that counts.
L Y — Google review
Stepping onto Saeyeongyo Bridge and making my way towards Saeseom Island was like walking into a postcard. Honestly, I didn't expect to be as moved as I was, but this place absolutely stole a piece of my heart. From the moment I set foot on the beautiful, arcing bridge, I could feel a sense of calm washing over me. The views were breathtaking – the deep blue of the ocean stretching out, the vibrant green of the island ahead, and the dramatic coastline of Seogwipo in the distance. It was one of those moments where you just have to stop, breathe deep, and soak it all in. Crossing the bridge itself was an experience. It's so gracefully designed, and you can feel the sea breeze, hear the gentle lapping of the waves below. Once on Saeseom Island, it felt like I'd stumbled upon a hidden gem. The walking paths are well-maintained and wind through the small island, offering various viewpoints that are each more stunning than the last. I loved just wandering, finding little nooks to sit and simply exist in the quiet beauty. What made it truly special for me was the feeling of peaceful solitude, even with other visitors around. There's an undeniable tranquility that permeates the entire area. I found myself just sitting on a bench, watching the boats, listening to the birds, and feeling an incredible sense of gratitude. It was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As the sun began to dip lower, casting a golden glow over everything, the bridge lit up, creating an even more magical atmosphere. It was truly an unforgettable sight. If you're looking for a place in Jeju to find peace, connect with nature, and just let your worries drift away with the tide, Saeseom Island and Saeyeongyo Bridge are an absolute must-visit. It's more than just a scenic spot; it's an experience that nourishes the soul. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and with a deep sense of calm that stayed with me long after. Easily a 5/5 – I'm already dreaming of my next visit.

Geologic Formations
Oedolgae, also known as Independence Rock, is a striking sea stack located off the coast of Jeju. Rising 20 meters above the sea, this freestanding rock formation offers dramatic cliffside views and can be easily accessed via a short walking track. Situated in the southern part of the island, it is a popular spot for visitors to enjoy its photogenic beauty throughout the day. To avoid crowds and capture the best light, early morning or late afternoon visits are recommended.
This is a stunning natural wonder! Visiting in autumn was perfect – cooler temperatures and fewer crowds made for a peaceful experience. I can imagine summer would be busier... The unique rock formation and coastal views are breathtaking. A must-see Jeju Island attraction, ideal for photography and enjoying the natural beauty. Highly recommend going out there and having a look! Its free, so why not. there is free and paid parking when you get there and a toilet block.
Binky T — Google review
Visiting Oedolgae was a very enjoyable experience. I walked there from central Seogwipo and was able to experience everything the trails had to offer while being “one with nature.” The views are incredible and everyone around me was really nice. Everyone took turns equally while getting pictures and were respectful with each-other. After enjoying the main attraction for a while, I walked around the conjoining park area for a bit and was able to see even more fantastic views all alone.
Kristopher H — Google review
This was one our few sunny days in our October trip. We got some beautiful shots of Oedolgae and the surrounding coast. I would definitely suggest adding this site to your Jeju itinerary. There are 2 parking lots. The first one charges KRW2000. The second one is free.

Was there for a nice walk autumn turning winter. Very nice place to chill out and enjoy the sea breeze and enjoy the rock formation. That's all about this place.

Oedolgae Rock is a very unique and impressive creation of Mother Nature. It is also known as Janggunseok Rock. According to a local legend, an old woman was transformed into this rock after waiting in vain for her husband to return from a fishing trip. This huge piece of rock, about 20m high and 10m in circumference, stands majestically in the sea near the coast. It is estimated to be about 1.5 million years old now. It is one of the must-visit attractions in Jeju island. Entrance is free of charge. It is accessible by public buses.

The World Automobile & Piano Museum in Jeju, South Korea is a must-visit destination for car enthusiasts and history buffs. The museum offers a fascinating journey through the evolution of the automotive industry, showcasing an impressive collection of classic cars from renowned global brands. Visitors can also enjoy driving small electric cars around the museum and explore an animal petting zoo with their children.
As I stand among these timeless antique cars, I am filled with a profound sense of awe and nostalgia. Each gleaming surface and meticulous detail speaks of an era long past, yet alive through the dedication of those who pour their hearts into preserving these masterpieces. The smooth curves, bold colors, and intricate craftsmanship transport me to a world where every ride was an experience and every design a story. I am deeply grateful to the passionate restorers and caretakers who ensure these gems remain as pristine as the day they first graced the roads, allowing us to relive history in all its splendor. Their skill and devotion breathe life into these rolling works of art, reminding us that the beauty of the past deserves to shine forever.

The world's largest car museum of Musee National Museum de l'Automobil in France has about 500 cars. But here in South Korea, we have Asia's first privately-owned Automobile Museum over 100 classic car collections from around the world. Since I have been there, I'm very proud of it. Because Korea's car companies like Kia, Hyundae, and Ssangyong are one of the best for their quality, duration, and design. So surprisingly and happily, I was there. It's a must-visit place in Jeju. Whoever is interested in piano and music should be. I love it beyond words.

As a family we went on a weekday and it wasn’t super busy. It was fun to be able to feed deer, see quite a fun collection of cars and beautiful pianos. The free child driving was fun, as a parent they were a bit pushy to not let the kids try to drive or even have hands on the wheel. We thought it was funny that they had speed bumps on the track…very Korean.
Sarah W — Google review
It’s an unusual combination. Automobiles and pianos, and a deer park thrown in for good measure, but somehow it adds up to a very informative and interesting museum. Lots of rare old cars and pianos in excellent condition. With informative signs in Korean, English and Chinese. The kids driving course looks like great fun for the smaller visitors, but unfortunately it was closed due to the heavy rain when we visited. Nice cafe and live tours help to round out the experience.

A haven for piano lovers and car lovers. The collection is impressive and pianos were really intricate and beautiful. The stamp pack for kids (5000 won) includes a car ride (a manual car with accelerator at 5 km/h) through a short course around the building (about 5 min). The deer garden was an added bonus for kids too. A great place with things of interest for daddies, mummies and kids! Entrance for adult is 13k won and kids, 12k won.

Angeori Bakgeori offers a simple yet inviting dining experience with a limited but satisfying menu. The set menu features four main dishes including tofu soup, steamed egg, grilled fish, and pork, accompanied by around 10 complimentary side dishes such as pickled seaweed and kimchi. Guests can enjoy their meal with a selection of drinks like beer and Soju. Despite the no-frills atmosphere and minimalistic English menu, the delicious food makes it all worthwhile.
Great local place where mostly locals go to eat. Food is delicious as price is affordable. Truly enjoyed a huge spread of side dishes.

Simple, homely but delicious home! The sides dishes are mouth-watering. Environment is simple with many locals. Very affordable food!
Lydia E — Google review
Eating here was a pretty fantastic experience. The venue is fairly low frills, but welcoming. Staff aren't necessarily up for a chat and will plonk down the English menu, written on a couple of pieces of cardboard. I use the word menu lightly, it only has a few food options and a handful of drinks. But the food they do have is well worth it. The main attraction is the set menu of four main dishes: tofu soup, steamed egg, grilled fish and pork. On top of that they bring about 10 complementary dishes ranging from pickled seaweed to kimchi. All pretty great! Wolf it all down with a beer and Soju and you'll be in a happy place. Best part is the price, cheap as chips with the whole experience costing less than $30 Aussie. Fantastic
Beau U — Google review
Good if you go in pairs as there’s a KRW12,000 set meal for 2 that comes with fish and pork. For 1 person I ordered ala-carte set which was KRW18,000 for 1 whole fish plus 2 types of soup and a large assortment of side dishes.
Sheila S — Google review
The set is 9000 per person required minimum 2 persons. The set includes many side dishes but not all are good. There is a steam egg, a tofu soup, 1 plate of boiled pork and 1 fried fish. Steamed egg was ok, boiled pork was quite fatty and too little amount for 2 and the fish was very oily and not very fresh that my bf didn't want to eat it after a try.
V L — Google review
There are only two menus here - vegetarian (8000 won) and non-vegetarian (9000 won). I got the non-vegetarian option. The main dishes are fried fish, boiled black pork, steamed egg and bean paste stew. Your table is then loaded with banchan galore - beansprouts, coleslaw, seaweed, padilla leaf, anchovies, cucumber, burdock root, vermicilli. I think many people come here because of the amazing variety of banchan at the price point. Best of all, you can get refills on the banchan. Overall, I enjoyed my meal there.

The Island Blue

Hotel
The Island Blue is a serene all-suite hotel located in Seogwipo, offering stunning sea views and a range of amenities including a spa, lobby lounge, and complimentary breakfast. Situated near popular attractions like Soesokkak Estuary and Hueree Natural Park, the air-conditioned accommodations provide ample space with multiple beds, making it suitable for families or groups. Guests can enjoy activities such as cycling, fishing, and hiking in the picturesque surroundings or simply relax along the beachfront.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in South Jeju, Island Blue Hotel is an excellent choice. The spacious living room was a highlight, and the queen-size bed was comfortable, though I wish it had been a king-size bed. The hotel provides 2 bottles of water per day, but there’s no water cooler available. You can conveniently purchase more from the CU mart located downstairs, which is unmanned during certain hours but easy to use with a credit card for self-checkout. The staff were professional and very helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Amenities include a self-service laundry and drying machine in the lobby, as well as massage chairs—both thoughtful touches for travelers. The drawback was the lack of large towels. They only provide two face towels per person, which was quite inconvenient. The soundproof would also be required to be better, living at 9 floor I was awaken by minor construction sounds daily Overall, this hotel is a great value for its price, especially if you’re planning to explore South Jeju.

i've got the 601 room which didn't had the sea view. They do have a stretch of rooms which faces the sea. Room The room was pretty big for the price. It should be about 50 -60m2. It has 1 double and 2 single bed which could sleep a family comfortably. There is also a small couch. Open concept kitchen, no utensils, only 2 cups and kettle. Toilet and Bathroom This area look relatively new compare to the rest of the room. It can pass off as a 4 star hotel toilet and bathroom. The toilet and bathroom area is separated. They do not provide bath towels as Korean usually go to public hot bath with face towels. There are 8 face towels in the room. Bed Personally the mattress isn't great. Maybe similar to a 3 star hotel mattress, some hard area where you could feel the spring. The sheets provided are great Egyptian cotton just like the usual 5 star hotels. Location Conveniently located. Walking distance to attractions and market. There is also a CU convenient store (24hr) at level 1 of the hotel. However you will need a Korean credit card to open the door for self check out service whenever the cashier is not around. Cashier working hours appears to be 5.30pm -11pm. Overall It is decent experience staying with them. It is a good place overall. Reception was helpful to constantly open the door of CU for us. Generally, they cater to a lot of local Koreans travelers.

Pros: 1. Location 2. Room size and bed 3. Great strong shower head 4. Provides 2 small bottles of drinking water Cons: 1. No kettle 2. No coffee/tea 3. Toilet doors are dysfunctional (cannot close fully - cold air goes in and it’s cold) 4. Allocated only 100l of hot water for shower. Else need to wait for 30mins for water to heat up. 5. Only hand towels provided. No bath towels. 6. Housekeeping only clears rubbish, replenish new hand towels and provide 2 bottles of drinking water. Bed is not made up. 7. Parking is a distance away from hotel.

In terms of location, it's a great choice for exploring trails and Seogwipo. The rooms are spacious, clean and bright, with a decent view. The main concern is the service. I won't touch on the language barrier as Google Translate works in most cases, but the front desk staff was disengaged and wasn't helpful for our requests or questions. We booked a stay for 5 people, but were provided with only 4 sets of amenities, and were denied an extra cup when requested. There are also no shower towels, and this should be mentioned on the booking as we'd have brought our own instead of trying to improvise with face towels that were available.
Kseniya R — Google review
Not the best experience. The staff is fully disinterested to all the questions you ask them until you’re starting to become loud. It seems like you’re staying in 2* hotel maximum. The location is nice, the rooms are really big. But despite you expect a tipe of “kitchen” there ( like the photos show) you receive nothing but two cups.
Stasy — Google review
The hotel was dated but spacious. The room is well kept but the stoves were all disconnected and just for show. I orignally booked this place hoping to use the stove. The aircon were centralized and they disabled ac during "winter" and only heating was available. However it now the end of march and its 25+ degrees outside. Worst of all were the staff. The parking staff was irritated by his daily work was extremely impatient. He couldnt explain how the parking system works and in the end i just left my car not knowing how ill get it back. The reception lady was even more impatient. I asked her about getting my car back and she started giving me impatient sounds and attitude. She stopped trying and decided to use google translate and shoved it on my face. I know not everyone knows english but shes working in hospitality. At least be patient enough with non korean speaking guests. You know what you signed up for when you decide to work at a hotel.
G — Google review
Old outdated rooms with dirty walls in the room and shower. There is mold in the bathrooms, stains in the carpet. Kitchette drawers don't work and there is a ministove but no utensils or pots/pans. Outlets are at an angle and look like they may or may not work. Air-conditioning/heating on works during certain months so you have to open a window which results in mosquitos. Hotel is cheap and is in a good location close by restaurants and markets but that's about it. There is also construction going on outside that starts at around 7am. The towels available are small hand towels.
Anthony N — Google review
The parking guy was super RUDE and impatient. It was an automatic car parking system and it was our first time using it. Appreciate if he could explain it better and be more patient instead of grumbling non stop. Poor first experience with the hotel!!!

기억나는집 is a restaurant located in Seogwipo, Jeju that offers good seafood dishes. The seafood stew is highly recommended, featuring fresh abalones, octopus, crab, clams, and shells. The owner is known for being very nice and accommodating. Visitors have shared positive experiences of the seafood being incredibly fresh and even "dancing" before being eaten.
I don’t understand why this place is 3.9 stars.. this was the best seafood soup I’ve had thus far in Korea. The seafood is so fresh it moves when served (see video). We also ordered a sea bream and mackerel which was 💯.

Abalone was perfectly cooked and delicious. Small pot 45k- seems good value Soup was ok - very standard... Not special. I don't have a comparison for other seafood pots though- just hoped for more. Menu is simple with translations so everything was easy. Place was comfortable But nothing special/memorable.

We were in Jeju for 4D3N, the seafood stew is the best food we ever eaten here! The abalones were very fresh, they were still alive and moving when cooking. The stew also includes octopus, crab, calms, and shells. It taste so good. The entire stew is only 60,000 won! We shared this among four people as we’ve small appetite.

Local restaurant. Only seafood, mainly fish hot stew or frying. Comparatively cheaper than those kinds of fish restaurant in Jeju. Not that good service but the taste is awesome.

The location was easy to find and has a perfect view outside. Ordered: Prawn Makhani - 4 out of 5 The sauce was a lot (which I use as a dipping sauce for the naan) and had few prawns Green Salad - 3.5 out of 5 It had tomatoes, cut oranges and blueberries - something I've never had as a salad. Hint of sour but was still enjoyable to eat Paneer plain naan - 3.5 out of 5 The cheese was crumble in the naan and it was quite good. Took the remaining back and ordered extra prawn masala to dip it with. Masala chai - 4 out 5 This was up to my taste bud, not so sweet and warm to drink. The owners are friendly and welcoming which makes it a great place to dine in. Thank you for the experience and the food!

Really delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Small restaurant located at the 2nd floor, you cannot easily spot walking down in the street, but inside the location with the seaside view is very nice. Owner really warm and gentle. Extra star for the bread, after 2 weeks in Korea without it, I ate an amazing freshly baked bread!!!

I’ve read some of the comments here and was quite skeptical to visit the restaurant but decided to try it as it was the only halal option near our Airbnb and we were sick of eating fish. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, full of mannerism when we entered his restaurant. He explained to us how spicy some dishes were. I personally enjoyed the food and it satisfies my voracious appetite after cycling, thus no picture of the food. Hehe. On a side note, he was operating alone on the day we visit and we had to wait about 20-30minutes for food. I would come here again if I travel to Jeju.

We were in our girls trip to Korea and Jeju, went to have food on 13th Oct 25. Had a very sad and disgusting experience here. The owner was terrible, started misbehaving on a small order stuff, then he was abusive and speaking terribly about Indian almost coming to thrash me. I am an Indian staying in Japan for long time, have never experienced this kind of disgusting and dangerous behaviour in my life till now. The man running an Indian restaurant was abusing Indians is so so disgusting. And this guy claims himself as Nepali, I have never seen any Nepalese people misbehaving like this. Just terrible and sad!! I felt complaining to police but we were just two women in this trip as tourists just left the idea.

Great food, with so many fish food restaurants in Jeju Island, it's a rare gem finding an Indian restaurant catering to the locals and tourists alike. Found the curry (chicken, prawn, lamb or vegetable dish) light and full of spice and flavour, it's so different and in a good way to what's served in the UK which can be quite heavy and pasty like. Highly recommended to try the nan bread with the curry or tandoori dish, it's delicious and also hat's off to the amazing chef and his wife :)

Nice restaurant, clean and ocean scenic view. Though price is little on higher side. Food is Indian Korean style. I tried Paneer butter masala curry and Chicken tikka masala. Both were delicious. Butter naan was big and well prepared. Owner is welcoming. Overall a good restaurant.
