Factory Outlets
The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso is a vibrant and modern shopping destination that caters to both families and fashion enthusiasts. This colorful outlet mall features a delightful kids' playground and splash pad, making it an ideal spot for family outings. With a diverse food court offering various dining options, including tasty treats like Annie's Pretzels, shoppers can refuel after exploring the numerous stores.
Good spot to go family shopping! Always have great deals! The food court here is also very nice!

The variety of stores and products makes the place a must go, when it comes to shopping in El Paso, a lot of well known brands, at low prices in comparison to the same brands in the malls, prepare yourself to walk and wondering around, come and check it out.
Gama ( — Google review
Two weeks ago, in the food court area, my wife and I filled out two tickets to enter a raffle to “win” a vacation to the Bahamas. Two days ago, my wife received a text message with an image of the ticket she had filled out with her information. The message said she had won the trip and had until October 21 to call and claim her prize. My wife proceeded to call, and after hearing all the details about the supposed “prize,” they started asking for debit or credit card information to charge a registration fee… this practice is very common in fraud cases, and after doing some research, it’s definitely a SCAM! I’m surprised that this shopping center allows this kind of thing — very disappointed. Don’t fall for this scam!
Javier — Google review
There were plenty of stores with clearance racks with some great deals. The outlet itself is getting ready for their Christmas shopping experience for its visitors.
Laura C — Google review
This is a typical mini outlet center. The usual name brand shops selling items intentionally made at a lower quality to sell at an almost equally lower price. There is a small food court. There is plenty of parking. The mall is relatively clean.
Heart — Google review
These outlets were a bit different from others. The food court has a bar with draft beer and mixed drinks. Many shops you don't see else where. Got a good deal on shoes and some jeans. Overall it was a good shopping experience. I bought things I didn't need but were at a reasonable price.

Such a beautiful outdoor mall set in deserts of Texas. On top of that you have all the name brand clothing wear water fountains blue sky and palm trees. What more do you want

Nature & Parks
Park
Nestled in the heart of El Paso, Franklin Mountains State Park is a breathtaking expanse that spans nearly 27,000 acres. This urban oasis features stunning canyons and majestic peaks, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you're into hiking, mountain biking, or exploring caves and mines, there's no shortage of adventure here. For those who wish to immerse themselves in nature overnight, the park offers tent and RV camping options by reservation.
Family fun outside, enjoying nature, a hike (50 minutes climb/hike to Aztec cavws) only 5bux to park. We'll go again soon! Sooo pretty!
Michelle — Google review
We had a memorable time camping in the Franklin Mountains State Park this weekend. The scenery is unmatched if you're looking to reconnect with nature, and even though there are other campers nearby, it still feels pretty isolated compared to other places we have camped, which is awesome. The trails are never-ending and it is such a peaceful overall camping experience. Watch for rattlesnakes, and enjoy other wildlife sightings as well. There are trails for all levels of hiking experience. Just make sure to bring plenty of water. We chose to hike early morning and early evening to avoid the scorching sun and it made all the difference in the world. We camped with our little Casita, a generator, and our two dogs though there were plenty of people roughing it in tents around us. The campsites are pretty nomadic (no hookups, no street lights at night, etc) but there is an outhouse for doing your business. If you are looking for a phenomenal camping experience that truly puts you in the center of nature's majesty, this is the place you have been searching for. If you're looking to be lined up beside other campers in neat little rows, have no privacy, but have slightly more amenities, this is not it. The only suggestion I would notation for the park to improve upon is the gate for after hours coming/going. We were given a code for gate access if we needed to go anywhere outside of the parks normal operating hours of 8-5. The code is for an actual padlock and you have to manually swing open the gate, drive through, and then get out and close it behind you. While this is a pretty straightforward process and we are not lazy individuals, the issue arose when we were bombarded by other patrons trying to gain access to the park at 6:30 AM on a Saturday morning. People showing us receipts where they had paid for access online, people trying to follow our vehicle through the gate, etc. This put us in a very uncomfortable position since we are not supposed to let anyone in. With an automatic gate that requires keypad code entry and operates on a timer to only let 1 vehicle through at a time, this issue could be remedied. The office/facilities seem new/updated so my only suggestion for improvement would be to update the gate/ how campers and patrons are able to enter the park. Overall, best camping experience we have ever had, even with the gate issues.

So we had some family in town recently who had never seen the Franklin Mountains State Park. We took everyone on a weekend adventure trip here. Everyone loved it even the children! Great place for a family outing and to get away from technology and things like that for those who are connected with technology.
Jeremy J — Google review
This park is a great hiking destination. The perfect place to go and clear your head. It has the most breathtaking, relaxing views and the hike paths are clearly marked and clean. Well worth the trip and the 5 bux to get in!
Frederick L — Google review
We had so much fun. When you get in there, you have to stop at the main building. They were super nice, they gave us a map, gave us directions, and answered questions we had. We set up a National Parks account. We had to use the bathrooms there, they were so clean, I was impressed. We took our 3 year old on the trail to the Aztec Caves, a little less than 2 miles. So beautiful. The trail gets a little narrow and steep. Very steep at the cave entrance. And there's loose rocks, so definitely wear shoes that have grip on the bottom. But my three year old completed the hike. It was awesome, so beautiful. We will be back.
Brandi R — Google review
Pretty place to connect with the nature. I love it, it's a huge place with different areas, if you go to the park offices the place it's more " kid friendly" more easy for newbies on hike like us Also have picnic areas, to rest and eat, restroom, you must have bring your own food and water. Great experience just for $5 dollars per person older than 12

Wet 'N' Wild Waterworld is a seasonal water park near El Paso that offers a variety of attractions for the whole family. From thrilling slides to kiddie rides, pools, and even volleyball, there's something for everyone. The park also features picnic areas with grills for those who want to enjoy a meal. While some visitors feel that the park could be larger, others appreciate the recent renovations that have improved its appearance.
Very cool place to spend with family ♥️ It’s pricey but worth it. Even squirrels 🐿️go up to you. I was able to pet this one and feed it she was beautiful 😍 .

It was a really fun experience we rented a cabana right on the lazy river. 1 thing was the cabana next to us was playing their music so loud we had to turn our music all the way up just to hear it. They also were smoking through out the day hitting thc vapes which blew our way. The free ice cream was nice at the end of the day for the kiddos. Another thing that was a little disappointing was in the kiddie slide area our son was going down for about 30 minutes having a blast, when a new life guard came on duty she told him to leave because he was a little to tall and above the line. Which I totally understand but because he is Austistic is was hard to explain why he now had to leave when the first life guard let him play there for about 30 minutes. Alot of other kids were not following the rules but no one else was asked to leave so we felt a little singles out. I'm glad El Paso has something like this it's the closest bigger water park to us in New Mexico.
Clay P — Google review
Wet 'N' Wild Waterworld was a bit of a disappointment, mainly due to the constant feeling of being nickel-and-dimed. The fun starts to feel expensive before you even get out of the car, with a mandatory $5 parking fee. Inside, it seems like you have to pay for everything. A simple table to sit at for the family was an extra $15, and if you wanted the luxury of a cabana, you're looking at a hefty $130-$200. I also wasn't expecting to pay $8 just to use a tube for some of the rides. All these small costs quickly add up, making the overall experience feel less like a fun day out and more like a financial transaction. Mind you it is $50 per person to enter. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the park, the long waits for the rides were a major drawback. We spent between 30 to 60 minutes in line for some of the main attractions, which significantly cut into the time we had to actually enjoy ourselves. The rides themselves are definitely enjoyable and a lot of fun, but the wait times suck. Another issue was the noticeable lack of bathrooms. It felt like we had to search for a restroom, and when we found one, there were long lines. For a water park of this size, it seemed like a pretty basic necessity was overlooked. The staff and the rides are great, but the high costs for every little amenity and the very long waits make this a below-average experience for me. If you don't mind spending a lot of money and waiting for a long time, you might have a better time, but it's not a place I'd rush back to.
Paul F — Google review
I love this place. We've been going for years. If you live nearby, get the season passes. We like going during the week when it's much less busy, and we take our own chairs and tables to avoid rental fees. Family friendly, overall nice environment. My daughter and I went on a Saturday when there was a huge company party taking up most of the picnic tables (and shade!), so space was limited, but a nice family let us set up under the same tree they were using. The rides are fun and there's something for all ages.
MLight S — Google review
Bought tickets in advance for a weekday. I bought 8 tickets for 150$$ it was a great price for my family. Plenty of cabanas even though they can be pricey. You have to pay for entry, grill, cabana, and of course your ticket. There was a 5 minute wait but it was quick. Young man that handled cabanas was sweet enough to walk me to my location. Entry….5$ Ticket into park… 22$ Grill…..10$ Cabana…. 100$ Tube are charged as well but you get two for free with cabana. Maybe in the future the big (dirt)parking will be paved. It can be tiring but it’s fun🖤🤘🏼 Highly recommend weekly visit.

Arenas & Stadiums
The Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas is a 51,000-seat outdoor football arena and the home field of the University of Texas at El Paso's football team. It also hosts the Hyundai Sun Bowl, one of the oldest college bowl games in the country. Nestled in the mountains near UTEP's campus, it offers a fun family experience and is known for its exciting atmosphere during college football games. In addition to sporting events, the stadium also hosts concerts and other entertainment.
Sun Bowl is great for a couple of reasons. First, the stadium can manage a footfall of about 50000 people. Parking and check in to this is organized and needs to be well planned for major events. It is a part of UTEP campus. The location has great bus and streetcar connectivity. The recent Coldplay concert over here was spectacular. If you're visiting this place during summer, ensure you're well hydrated and have good sunscreens. It has good views of the el paso and neighboring landscapes as well. The location is easily identifiable and has plenty of parking space.

Took our daughter and her family to the monster jam. We had a blast watching the trucks. My granddaughter enjoyed the unicorn one she was all excited to see it out there with the boys. We were even doing the wave with everyone else in the stadium

Cool place to attend a concert that you can see Mexico from your seat! The lines were so long and it was excessively hot so plan for water and a fan. They had refill water stations and many people were polite.
Amanda D — Google review
Stopped by for Franklin vs Coronado game, stadium is beautiful, staff is always kind. The Sun Bowl is definitely a must visit if you have the chance to watch a game here.
Charlie B — Google review
A great outdoor venue for the Coldplay concert! The beautiful surrounding mountains made this concert extra special. I was concerned about the 104 degree temperatures, but down on the floor it was shady and for this particular event they provided plenty of free water to keep everyone hydrated. Parked in an open lot which made leaving very easy.

Caught a bit of the game at the end, but the stadium is a awesome venue to enjoy a game.

**Concert – Coldplay at Sun Bowl Stadium, El Paso** I came with high hopes for an unforgettable night with Coldplay at the Sun Bowl Stadium, but unfortunately, the venue and management turned it into an absolute nightmare. This was hands-down *the worst* concert experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, the situation was pure chaos. There were no signs, no visible staff, and no clear direction. Lines were forming randomly without any indication of where they were headed. After waiting in a queue for over 30 minutes, we were abruptly told it was closed and to “just join another line”—still with no guidance. The result? We missed all of the opening acts while wandering around, trying to figure out how to even get in. When we finally ended up in what seemed like the “right” line, we were met with a maze of unorganized crowds, with multiple queues haphazardly merging. The real kicker? Only *five* ticket scanners were operating—for a crowd of over 50,000. The bottleneck that caused was unbearable. To make matters worse, temperatures soared past 100°F, and despite the dangerous heat, we were forced to throw away our water bottles at the gates. No alternatives, no accommodations—just more negligence layered on top of the disorganization. It’s infuriating to think how easily this could’ve been avoided with a competent management team. The lack of planning, communication, and basic crowd control was inexcusable. No concert, no matter how iconic the band, is worth that kind of mess. Coldplay didn't deserve this. I’ll never attend another event at this venue again.
Denver L — Google review
Since my Dad worked for CBS Sports & KDBC-TV. I grew up being around the Sunbowl as a child. It’s a great place & becoming better. However, we all know they need to put up shade (even if it’s putting up sails or some form of cover for both the stands & booths) it was 3 digit heat that weekend. This was my first time back in almost 30 years & that part hasn’t changed yet. Not enough shade or misting or fans. The area is Easy to navigate, basically everyone from volunteers to employees in general were so just awesome♥️ Other than that, as a visitor its imperative for you to due diligence ahead of time to select & purchase tickets in the shady parts, to take a stadium bag and add fans, hats, small umbrellas, to dress in layers, wear sunblock chapstick wipes & water & ice and possibly a seat.

Barbecue restaurant
Rib Hut is a bustling student hangout in El Paso, offering BBQ ribs, brisket, and chicken-fried steak in a casual setting. The restaurant is known for its fantastic specials on rib nights every Monday and Wednesday. The slow-smoked meats follow the traditional Texas quality of barbecue and are complemented by delicious sides. The eclectic decor adds to the fun local atmosphere. Customers rave about the meaty, juicy ribs and flavorful BBQ sauce, as well as the enormous servings.
The food here is on point each time that I have visited here. I’ve tried a couple of different items on their menu and I have yet to be disappointed. The portions you get are very generous to say the least. The hamburger is what a hamburger should be… eaten with two hands and juicy! You know you’re getting a good deal when the potatoe is as big as the burger! The broiled chicken is juicy and comes right off the bone. Ribs here are at times slightly bigger than the plate they’re served on. One of the things that compliments the food is the service. It’s hard to find a place to get both during the same visit. Just keep in mind when you visit that if it’s during the busy hours they might take a little bit longer but nothing to discourage you from visiting. Jessica at the bar gives great service as does the rest of the staff! Hope this review helps!

Smoked ribs and Brisket was so good honestly, we’ll be coming again soon. Also we arrived with our dog and the staff was super friendly and nice about it, waiter Iker gave us good in house meal suggestions to order and that hit the spot! Thanks for the freebie meat for our dog Vicente too! We all really liked this restaurant

I stopped in at Rib Hut and had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a BBQ joint. The beef ribs were absolutely amazing—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor that kept me going back for every bite. What made the night even better was the service.the manager runs this place like a pro. You can tell she cares about both the customers and her staff—everything was smooth, welcoming, and professional from the moment I walked in. My server, Krystal was outstanding. Friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and quick with refills and recommendations. She made the meal feel personal, like I was a regular even though it was my first visit. Between the top-notch food and the incredible service, Rib Hut has easily earned a 5-star spot in my book. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be bringing friends with me.

During my business trip, I visited Rib Hut in El Paso, and it was absolutely amazing! The BBQ was perfectly smoked, tender, and full of rich flavor. I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience was so wonderful that I genuinely wanted to share it. Since it was Halloween, Manager Adriana served us wearing a hilarious Chucky mask — such a fun and memorable touch! She was incredibly kind and attentive, making my colleagues and me feel so welcome. We even took a group photo with her to remember this fantastic night. Thank you, Adriana, for your wonderful service and hospitality. Rib Hut is a must-visit in El Paso!

Best BBQ in the westside of El Paso, worth every dollar. Family of four went for a celebration, my daughter’s favorite place. Basket is the kids meal, plenty of food for a nine yr old. 24.99 for the monster plate with ribs. Brisket sandwich 🔥🔥Make sure to wear stretchy pants!

This is the spot for Texas BBQ! We were recommended here from a local for a place to get local fare. We always like to try places that are family owned and operated or a small business instead of a chain restaurant when we visit new places. We were greeted promptly by Adriana and were seated quickly. Angel, our server, was helpful and attentive. When we were getting ready to pay we spoke with Adriana about the food (which was amazing!) and she informed us that everything is made in house and you can definitely tell! I ordered the miner potato- Yum! My husband ordered the brisket and the beet rib, with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. There is something for everyone on their menu and the pricing is good for what you get.

Mesa Street Grill is an American bistro located in El Paso's University and Medical District. Since its opening in 1998, the restaurant has been committed to providing exceptional cuisine and service in a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere. With formal and casual spaces, it offers California wines and live music on weekends. The restaurant also features high-quality food, fine wine lists, and multiple spaces for private events.
Truly enjoyable. The bartender, who was also my server, Dante, gave superior service. Super attentive, very helpful in offering food and drink suggestions, and quick. The food was good and I appreciated their specials. Not a fan of walking up slippery steps in humid conditions , but the interior was very nice, if not a bit dark for my taste. Still, lovely. Will definitely return.

Came here for lunch! Haven't been here in a while...so why not! I ordered fire fried oyster...which wasn't bad. Main dish....spicy tuna sandwich (a little cold when I got it)....flavor of sandwich....great flavor! But those FRIES....loved it! Crunchy! Service was great!

My wife and I came here on Saturday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was good, and the staff was attentive, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. We ordered the arrachera and lobster, but both dishes arrived cold and lacked seasoning. The lobster mac and cheese and the appetizer with shrimp and calamari were the best parts of our meal — those were flavorful and well-prepared. We also ordered two alcoholic drinks, and our total came out to around $180. For that price, we expected the entrées to be much better. Sadly, the food just wasn’t worth it. We don’t plan on coming back, as the overall experience didn’t justify the cost.

We had higher expectations for this place. I guess that's why it was more of a disappointment. There were eight of us with a reservation. They cramped us on the smallest table possible in the patio area. Literally sitting elbow to elbow. After telling them that we needed a bigger table, they set us up with something better. We ordered drinks, and they were pretty good. We tried a few different cocktails, they were all great. The menu was different online, and it made it a bit confusing when we wanted to order food. The only thing I enjoyed was their Calamari appetizer. It's really good! The rest of our food was average in taste and not cooked perfectly like you'd expect, considering how much it costs to eat here. I had the duck, and my wife had the chicken. The rest of our party had fish and chicken Everyone had the same compliant about mushy fish, and the duck was weird texture as well. The sides were ok. I wouldn't recommend dinner here. It's overpriced for the quality. It is a good place for drinks with friends, though.
J — Google review
The hosts were super friendly and our waiter, Dante, was super attentive, friendly, and top of everything. The food was a bit sub par for my taste. My partner loved her shrimp tacos, but my burger was little under cooked for medium well. However, the service made the experience pretty enjoyable that we'd go back to try more menu items.
Selina S — Google review
This is my third time at Mesa St Grill. I’m surprised by the not so positive reviews as I’ve always had a great experience here. For dinner we ordered a 12 oz NY strip steak, calamari and Steak Diane. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Yes, the food is a bit pricier, but the portions are generous. Both my husband and I only ate about half of our food and took home the rest because we were full. I’d say this is a great place to come for a birthday, date night or special occasion. Overall 10/10 for us, definitely recommend this place!
Mariana L — Google review
Food was presented nicely but average on the flavor on some of the plates we got, my wife got some chipotle pasta which was really good, I got the lamb chops with were lacking flavor, cheesecake was ok, it was a combination of creme brulee with cheesecake. Service was great, server was very professional and quick and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming. Will probably come back and check out the other items.

Very beautiful at night, they have blue lights and white lights. Special occasions they’ll host mini concerts and have pop shops. The area itself is beautiful

We liked it there 😍 we stayed for a bit every time we got a chance. Nice variety of restaurants, and shops. My son loves the outdoors for its lights and the area where he can run around and meet other kids.

Honestly it is so nice to have everything right in one area. I can get a haircut and then grab a coffee and pastry at the French Bakery. Highly recommend if you are visiting, especially if the weather is cool. The parking garage is nice too.

The busiest mall in El Paso, Texas! Although there are plenty of restaurants to choose from that offer so many choices of American, Deli, Mexican, TexMex, French, and Fine dinning cuisines to select from, the traffic is often clustered and the lines are super long. Do not expect to just run in and out at most store shops or restaurants. Make certain to have plenty of time to wait and get to what you came for. The do have beautiful little grassy sit down areas and fountains to enjoy and take pictures.

Basic mall with affordable brands. Update!! Today we visited a new kiosk, called the chocolate barrel which is locally owned and operated. They offer a variety of international wines, liquor, champagne, sparkling wine, and even Japanese sake or rice wine. Their chocolate variety is very impressive even with a large selection of sugar-free products. It was extremely insightful of sharing us so much detailed information about the chocolate origins the different ingredients and even recommend recommendations. I really think you would enjoy this kiosk so enjoy it while it lasts.

I remember when it was el paso 1st bus stop it used to be called montgomery wards and I used to catch the bus here to get down town. I remember when taco cabana was here and this wanna the section everyone used to hang out in lol I used to come see my buddy Jimmy Farmer he was security back then and the old man with sun glasses good times. It feels great to come back and show love to the places I traveled to get to where I am today. Thanks for this mall I even modeled for dilliards once upon a time. Great times and great memories are forever irreplaceable in my book. May God keep the good times rolling🙏🏼🙏🏼💯😇🎬

If I could give a review I would give a zero stars. Employees do not have manners and are very rude when purchases are being made. Seems to me like they do not want to work. It is not the first time this happens. Hopefully someone takes matters into their own hands.

Went to Macy's for there presale. Always great customer service. They greet you in coming and leaving the store. Great selection of new merchandise coming in. I do recommend this place to my friends.

Wish near the doors they have a map or maybe at a central entrance. This will aid in triangulating yourself to the location you’ll like to go. Some ppl still like a good store map. Or at least a qr code if we’re not asking for much. Parking can sometimes be tricky as ppl don’t know how to drive or park in between the predetermined lines.

The mall is losing its charm! Seems like a giant in door swap meet, a lot of low end shoppers surrounded by Giant Brand stores like Macy's, JC Penney, Victoria secret etc.. food court is basic and crowded at average norm fast food. There is however a hawaiian BBQ/ place seems ignored but has amazing food and you get enough food for 2 for $12. A lot of overpriced kiosk through out mall. Very poor as far as sports stores unless you like the cowboys, not much as far as any other type of team or sport for that matter.

Nice shopping mall with a lot of stores from banks to speciality and departmental stores. Located next to 1-10, on the East side of the city. Great parking and basically all what you need. Restaurants, banks and Apple Store also in side the mall. Tax return offices as well.

Shopping mall
Bassett Place is a nostalgic gem in El Paso that evokes fond memories for many visitors. While it may not be as bustling as it once was, with some vacant stores and a food court that could use improvement, the mall still offers a charming atmosphere. The presence of popular retailers like Target and Costco, along with entertainment options such as a movie theater and arcades, makes it appealing for families.
Beautiful Gem Center, with a plethora of natural healing inventory available! Great unique gift items to choose from! Fantastic hidden museum if you purchase $25 or more, $2.95 entrance fee without a purchase! Reasonable, great prices and beautiful crystal lamps available! Genuine customer service! A+++💎

We love Costco for many reasons and we always have something good to post regarding their warehouses nation wide. However, today was a different story, 🍀 lucky for those customers that my phone 📱 was left in the truck. Otherwise, I would have put them on blast, for their 3rd world shopping skills. In any event I did refer the matter to the front desk management. . We were going to purchase fruits and vegetables from the produce department, when we witnessed a man switching mangos from 3 different boxes. In order to find the most favorable ones, as if he were across the border at a (Mercado). Then we came across a woman who was doing the very same thing, with 🍓 strawberries. I was very agitated so much so, that we chose not to make our purchase. No one knows where these people hands 👐 have been, let alone any sickness or illnesses they may be carrying. Costco does their best to bring their customers the very best of everything, don't take your poor manners into the store. Pretend you have morals and values for 30 minutes.

Talk about a blast from the past! First time visiting this mall. Though it's not as big as other malls, it has plenty to offer. Bassett Place also gives off a nostalgic, home-y feeling. The employees were warm and welcoming. The facility was quite clean, and there was plenty of parking available. I like that there is a little bit of everything for the entire family-movie theater, arcades, shopping, groceries. For a moment in time, this place made me feel like I was living in the 90's again, but this time, I'm the parent! Can't wait to come back and visit again.

Nice open space, keeping the traditional mall alive. Good selection of retailers. The mall is clean and child friendly. Safe environment to shop in. Love the sky lights. Mall is close to other businesses, making it convenient for most shopping needs. Kohls has a drope off for Amazon returns, no boxing needed, they do it all.

The El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a 35-acre park that houses over 220 African, American, and Asian species in natural habitat replicas. Families can enjoy exploring exhibits such as Animals of Africa, Animals of Asia, and Animals of the Americas. The zoo offers Zoo Adventure Programs for both children and adults, along with daily animal encounters featuring sea lions, eagles, monkeys, and more. Additionally, visitors can enjoy family-friendly attractions like a treehouse playground and a water play area.
The Zoo is always a fun place to visit and enjoy the company of wonderful animals, cool down in the splash pad, take a ride on the carousel 🎠 ride, run around the playground and indulge in a tasty treat. Love making memories with my family! 🦒 🦓 🐅 🐦

It's a zoo, surprise, honestly it's a decent zoo I've been to better also to worse. You can never predict if the animals are going to be active or not. I was sad to hear about the loss of a giraffe I was told there were still 3 there but we never saw them. When we went to the zoo had a few sections down for maintenance and repair but it didn't dampen the experience much. I liked how people in the park were passing along info to fellow guests about closures and better spots to see an animal very friendly. Bonus info You can purchase a ticket to get a face-to-face with a few of the animals for $40.00. We opted for the penguins encounter and it was great! They gave us instructions on how and where we could pet the penguins amazing experience I would highly recommend it if you want to do something a little more memorable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I really want to support our local zoo, but every time I visit, I leave disappointed. Too many of the animal enclosures are consistently closed, which takes away from the overall experience — especially when you’ve paid full admission. I find myself trying to justify bringing the family, only to remember why it ends up feeling like a waste of time and money. A zoo should be more than just a walk through pathways. If most of the animal exhibits are inaccessible or hidden, it makes more sense to just visit a local park. For the price, guests deserve to see what the zoo promotes — not empty habitats. At this point, I’d rather make the 2-hour trip to the Albuquerque Zoo, where the experience is consistently more complete and worth the drive. El Paso Zoo has potential, but it really needs to step up — either improve accessibility to exhibits or adjust pricing to reflect what’s actually available.

Thank you!

I liked this experience because the concert was one hour, and the pieces were short, a few minutes long. Often when I go to the symphony, it's a two or three hour event with the music pieces lasting a long time. It was good for my hyperactive self. Parking was easy at the zoo. It was casual experience, but elegant. This is my first time at such a event. #candlelight

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is an informal pizzeria chain located in Brooklyn, New York, known for its delicious brick-oven pizzas and calzones. With a relaxed ambiance and friendly atmosphere, customers can enjoy a pleasant and welcoming dining experience. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering options including the DON pizza, perfect for meat lovers. For those seeking something sweeter, the SPINACH SALAD is an excellent choice with just the right amount of dressing.
Great pizza and good tiramisu. Tiramisu I just wish had more espresso/coffee soaked ladyfingers. Loved the inside. Bathrooms nice and clean. Service is fast and friendly. Checked on us often. Very relaxed due to having Sinatra and the like playing instead of the crappy old pop music or loud rock. Not loud which I like but guessing it gets louder during the weekend or when it’s busy. We came on Friday afternoon.

My boyfriend and I went last night (24 Sept) for dinner. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, it was delicious. There was no wait, got seated right away. We had a coupon on the InKind app. We scanned the QR code on the receipt and paid. Our waitress came by asking for us to pay. We showed her we already did, she kept saying we didn't. We asked to speak with the manager to try to resolve this issue. She also kept saying we didn't pay. We showed her our app and bank statement saying the payment went through on both, that we weren't going to pay double. She was extremely rude, kept rolling her eyes saying we didn't pay. Then she just walked off in the middle of our conversation. Who the hell does that??? Not even an apology or anything. Our waitress was very attentive, and polite. I loved her. However, your management needs to be worked on!

My complete order wasn’t ready until about 30 minutes after the noted online pick up time. I was surprised the pizza was ready but had to wait for the anti-pasta? Just cut up cheese and ingredients which seem like you could throw together pretty fast. So got home with a cold pizza 🥹

This was our first time here, the wait was longer than the time it took us to eat but it is understandable it was Saturday. Our waitress was nice gave us samples of wine and helped us out through the menu. We got a ceaser salad to start off and we got half the don and other half xtra pepp and hot honey 🍯💕

Walked in and I loved the decor! The coal burning pizza oven was so cool never seen before. We ordered the prosciutto pizza with added pesto! I asked for a side of Hot Honey.. OMG PERFECTION. Pizza did take almost 45 mins but we weren't in a hurry (busy at 3pm). Pizza is thin and crispy my favorite. Service was great, all staff were friendly and polite. I posted all over my social medias because it was that good. We did order the original cheesecake it was not my favorite, I would have liked fresh fruit rather than a thick jam. The crust could be more crunchy it was soft n crumbled. I will most definitely be back to try other pizzas!!

Steak house
Ruth's Chris Steak House is a premier destination for steak lovers seeking an unforgettable dining experience in El Paso. This upscale chain is renowned for its mouthwatering, butter-topped USDA Prime beef, served on sizzling 500°F plates that keep the flavors locked in until the very last bite. The elegant and intimate atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for romantic dinners or special celebrations, where attentive staff ensure you feel pampered throughout your meal.
Had a wonderful experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House. We started with the Caesar Salad. It's one of the best Caesar Salads I've ever had. For our entree, we ordered the 16oz Ribeye and added the Jumbo Lobster Tail (you need to ask for the jumbo size because it's not on the menu). The steak was perfectly seasoned/cooked(medium rare) and the lobster was fantastic. Ask for garlic butter with the lobster, you'll thank me later. Not a big deal, because the entree is what matters, but I think I should have tried a different side. The garlic mashed potatoes were just a little bland and nothing to write home about. Next time I'll try lobster mac and cheese. My wife loved her Lemon Drop cocktail (strong pour and well balanced). Ivonna was delightful (sorry if I misspelled it). She was clearly experienced and well trained. Understand that you're getting prime cuts of beef, so you should expect to pay a little more, but it's not unreasonable. It was worth every penny. Overall, the food and service were excellent! I highly recommend you come see for yourself.
Michael W — Google review
Food is served hot, delicious, fresh and well seasoned; beware that appetizers and sides are in shareable portions; overall it was a nice dining experience, far from exceptional, I would say it hasnt met the international Ruth's Chris standard yet. I was somewhat disappointed about the wrong table setting etiquette for a high-end restaurant. I didnt serve with any butter knife, and i was given a tablespoon for dessert.

We finally decided to try this place after having lived here for 5 years. I can’t believe they have so many good reviews. The service was AWFUL! Our server Diana disappeared for very long periods of time, our glasses sat empty for probably 30 minutes at one point. The food wasn’t good at all. The ceasar salad had an odd taste, the potatoes au gratin was just chunks of potato with a heavy layer of cheddar on top, the goat cheese and artichoke dip was mediocre and the garlic bread served with it was so heavy in garlic flavor it’s still burning my tongue a couple of hours later. The only steak I eat is ribeye and when I say they have one of the worst ribeyes ever, I mean EVER. It was supposed to be medium, it was more like medium well, no juice, and frankly the only seasoning I could taste was pepper. Ribeye is supposed to be full of flavor and a bit salty from the fat…nope, none of that good flavors at all. After waiting for way too long for our server I walked to the hostess station and told them we would like a new server, they said okay. That never happened. Nobody even acknowledged that a new server had been requested. For a $340+ dinner for 3 people it was a complete and total waste of money. Pelicans, West Texas Chophouse, and even Texas Roadhouse are far superior to what we experienced tonight.

This was a great experience from start to end. We went on a weekday for our anniversary. They greeted us by name throughout the night. and had the table reserved with a "happy anniversary" sign for us! Heads up, the mac and cheese can easily be a whole meal for one, or a side for 2 , maybe even 3 people. The steak was so good and easy to eat. The lychee martini was so good!! I would eat here every week if it weren't a hike for me.

Coffee shop
Dunkin', a well-established chain known for its famous breakfast offerings and diverse range of coffee beverages, consistently delivers satisfying non-coffee drinks. Although their expertise may falter when it comes to coffee-based orders like lattes, the friendly staff is always eager to rectify any mistakes. The drive-thru service is efficient and prompt, ensuring no time is wasted. Maintaining excellent restroom cleanliness, Dunkin' receives top marks in this regard.
Dunkin donuts is always super packed. But the managers and staff are always quick to get your order out on a timely manner. And if something is not right. They'll make it right in the spot. Great coffee. Great food. And overall great service.

I arrived Sunday at 6am for a mixed dozen donuts, these were intended for my co-workers. Unfortunately we received a horrible mix off donuts, they were all old and extremely dry, not one person took any all day, they looked pathetic, we were very disappointed in the quality off donuts we were given. I wouldn't recommend you go here to early, it seems their keeping days old donuts, my entire team made a comment 😓
Desmond B — Google review
I ordered a medium hot original coffee with sugar. What I received was next day old watered down water with no sugar. This was the weakest and most disgusting coffee I ever had. This place is a pathetic joke.

It is only in this dunkin that they always make me park even though there is NO LINE. not infront of me not behind me and they also give me my food half assed. Like I get the avocado with bacon but there's hardly any bacon ( Pic). I have gone in the morning where there is a morning rush and they have always given me my coffee and avocado toast with enough bacon. This issue only happens in the afternoon. Thank the morning shift because they are the only reason I keep coming back, everyone else is just slacking. Also I didnt get my receipt so I can't even do the survey so Corp can know who is the person that served me.
Andrea A — Google review
They never seem to disappoint me in messing up my order . You would think as a regular customer they would at least appreciate the customer and make sure we are happy that they could make our day or not by making us a bad coffee with to much sugar or not enough sugar or anything else. If not they put your donut in the bag upside down to make sure that the icing is on the bottom stuck to the bag ,like really? You couldnt take your time to put it in the bag the correct way or grab it so roughly you left finger holes on the sides where its basically squished. You make me return into the store for a remade coffee that you couldnt get right the first time ? I know it raises alot of questions , especially when i have other options, but why should i go out of my way on my way to work when its convient for me when i come to them for that then they should be expected to make my experience a good one with food, service etc. and why keep coming ?Because .... I try to give them the benefit of the doubt . I recall a time it was always perfect the perfect amount cream sugar and flavor or anything ordered and this location used to be great it was your go too place ,now its been going down hill from there ,who gets coffee wrong, who serves you donuts and cant even take the time to put it in the bag right. Especially when noone was behind me(drive thru) . I hope their district manager isnt as bad as the people they are hiring that are serving us customers instead that he will read this as he has been in store before a few feet away from where I came in to correct an order so my hope is he will take into consideration in making it better.. . Im really not that picky I just expected a large coffee that has 4 pumps as its already included not six or less than 4. Or a donut i can actually eat with icing that isn't all over the bag .It happening more often now more than once with the coffee and second time on the donuts. Do better
Dee D — Google review
I recently had a troubling experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts location that highlights a lack of proper training and adherence to health protocols. After my order was mishandled, I returned the donut holes, and despite informing the staff that I had sneezed on them and offering to purchase them at half price, the employee still insisted on keeping them. This not only reflects poor professionalism but also suggests that the staff may not be receiving adequate training or attending the necessary health department meetings. Such practices are unacceptable and raise serious concerns about customer safety. Because of this incident, I will not be returning to this location again.
Jorge H — Google review
Do they pay these workers more to be rude and unhappy?? Don't work at a busy place dealing with customers if it's not your thing. Reflects poorly on management and my favorite coffee place. Starbucks and Chic Fila are more busy and they manage to even act happy to see customers.
Pedro R — Google review
Very disappointed, minimal doughnuts, inside the doughnut display case, several flies were visible on top of the food. Staff was utterly rude, unhappy, no cares to please the customer. Unfortunately, I had to throw away my doughnuts in the trash. I really hope management reads these reviews and makes an effort to properly train their staff. This location was unsanitary and disgusting. Shame on you.

Pho Tre Bien is a laid-back eatery in El Paso that serves up traditional Vietnamese fare, including their popular pho and other classic dishes. The restaurant also offers Thai cuisine, sandwiches, and bubble teas. The vibrant ambiance of the place is accentuated by a koi pond, adding to the cultural experience. While some recent reviews mentioned occasional service hiccups, many patrons praise the fresh and delicious food.
A little dark inside but the koi pond is beautiful. Love the music that was playing and the volume was good. Might be loud for some. Looks like that have live music sometimes, will have to come back. My Thai tea was good topped with whipped cream (optional). Beautiful beef broth. Loved the lumpia good size for sharing or if you want keep them all yourself.

I would've shrugged it off had it been just ONE lumpia missing shrimp but ALL FOUR had zero shrimp inside! I've been eating at two of their locations and normally I order three orders of these but today it was just a small craving… So i placed a small order and I tipped accordingly to the options given on the site. This was a waste of my money, gas and time. 4 for 4 seems intentional…

When they started on Viscount, the owner was friendly. Now when she's here, she doesn't even greet you. You can feel the tension with her staff.

Good for sick people, loved the koi, why are people saying that we'll die of the humidity? Of course it's humid y'all aren't aware that there is a pond? Boba is delicious

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like L & J Cafe. Not quite as popular as El Paso Museum of Art, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

L & J Cafe is a historic family-owned restaurant that has been serving authentic regional Mexican cuisine since 1927. The cafe is renowned for its original Mexican-American dishes, such as the molten chile con queso made with roasted green chiles and Wisconsin muenster cheese.
Y'all 😭 this place was so good, I could cry. Not a thing could've been better. The salsas were spicy and each unique. My husband's eyes were rolling in pleasure with every bite. He did a ranchera steak burrito with their queso over it. I got their Mexican sampler and didn't regret it! Taco salad also looked lovely.
Hahna H — Google review
A true El Paso gem! We had dinner at L&J’s Restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The chile rellenos were perfectly cooked — soft and flavorful inside, with just the right amount of heat. The chicken mole was incredible — the chicken was so tender it practically fell apart, and the mole sauce was rich, deep, and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. The historic vibe of the place, paired with its unique location right next to the old Concordia Cemetery, gives it a charm you can’t find anywhere else. You really feel like you’re experiencing a piece of El Paso history while enjoying some of the best Mexican food in town. If you’re visiting El Paso or even if you’ve lived here all your life, L&J’s is a must! Great service, amazing food, and a one-of-a-kind setting — it doesn’t get better than this.

This was probably one of the if not THE best Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life! Authentic Mexican cuisine, full of flavors, super tasty & fresh! You could tell that the food was made in-house probably with old recipes from past generations! It was just amazingly tasty!! Our server Edgar was outstanding! Super friendly, he explained everything, made good recommendations & took really good care of us. This is the way great service looks like! We will definitely recommend this place - it’s fantastic!
Lobo M — Google review
The service was exceptional, the food came out fast. I had tacos, they were really good! The sauces were superb, guacamole was good but to me it tasted like it was missing a secret ingredient, the same goes for beans and rice, it was almost underwhelming, I guess it’s a classic recipe? Otherwise a very nice spot I would come back to with friends. They also offer a discount to military!

I was in town on business and heard many people praising L & J Cafe. The Food and Service was fantastic. FOOD: I got their large sample plate and everything was delicious. The Chips and Salsa are addicting. The flour tortillas are THICK. The sleeper that I did not expect was their Caldillo Soup. It is probably the most delicious soup that I have ever eaten in my life. SERVICE: The Service that I received was fantastic. I went 2 times and both times I received great service. My servers were friendly, engaging and helpful. ATMOSPHERE: The Atmosphere is nice inside. It is not mind blowing or anything amazing. There were a lot of different places to sit and some were kind of cramped. Also, being from out of town, the entrance and the location was so confusing. Overall, if I ever find myself back in El Paso, L & J Cafe will absolutely be on my list of places to eat at.
Chris M — Google review
Haven't had L and Js in years! Finally decided to come back in search of that same taste I had as a kid and was not disappointed! Definitely start out with that chorizo fondigo! Had the chicken enchiladas 10/10. As well as barbacoa tacos, 9/10!! Overall it was a 9.8 experience! Service is nice, had multiple beers from tap, my server made sure our cups were full, and our chips were full!
Phillip P — Google review
Great food, attentive service, entertaining atmosphere for a perfect dinner in El Paso. Pollo Mole was delicious as was the combo dinner. Parking can be a challenge but patience provided us a safe spot.
Deanne E — Google review
I love L & J’s! I am on vacation in El Paso and wanted to take my husband as he had never gotten to go! The last time I was there was 10 years ago. It definitely was as I remembered. Outstanding food and service. Our server was Anna Rita and she was over the top. She was so patient and informative for us with a thousand questions on how different things were prepared, her favorites and just general conversation. We will definitely ask for her when we go back! I ordered a michelada with my favorite canned Tecate. I love the way El Paso does their micheladas with the lime juice! We then started with the guacamole! You cannot go here without getting the guacamole. It is the best. We then had an order of bean and cheese nachos. My husband said these were the best beans he’s ever had. After these nachos that were enough for 5 people, we were too full to order dinner so we just finished the experience off with a wonderful, perfectly fried sopapilla! We will definitely be going back before we leave town! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Chamizal National Memorial is a 55-acre park that serves as a cultural center, featuring a museum, theater, art galleries, and an amphitheater. It commemorates the peaceful resolution of the Chamizal Dispute between the United States and Mexico. The park offers green spaces for recreation and hosts various cultural events throughout the year, including summer concerts on Sunday evenings from June to August. Situated along the U.S.
Nice place to stop by along the US-Mexico border. Nice and short exhibit inside. A quiet walk around the picnic area outside, very peaceful. Very very few people, especially compared to other tourist areas in El Paso.

Playing tourist in my hometown today. The Chamizal is a nice place to enjoy and learn about our culture. It’s offers great well maintained open space to walk around, enjoy some entertainment and view some beautiful murals along the way. Best part it’s all FREE for everyone to enjoy!😉
Bonbon S — Google review
It was a beautiful place what we could see from the outside, but unfortunately, we drove all the way there To get our stamp in our national parks pass book and it was on Sunday! A lot of history I would’ve really enjoyed learning more about it, but you’re in the meantime I looked up a bunch and we were able to at least walk around the grounds. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Interesting and well-kept historical memorial a stone’s throw from the border and bridge to Mexico. The visitors’ center isn’t open every day so I recommend checking the hours before you go. Plenty of parking, nicely-groomed grounds, and a paved walking path with some sitting areas and shade trees.

Went here because shockingly it was raining the morning of April 1. No April fools. Most city museums are closed on Mondays so this was the only thing we found. We were surprised at how much we liked it. Very interesting history and something you never think about: what happens to an international border when a river changes course? They presented the information in such a good way that it kept the attention of my 10 and 8 year old boys. Additionally, they actually have great Tshirts in the gift shop that are very comfy if you’re like me and buy shirts at every NPS site. 😀
Andrew B — Google review
Well maintained park with views of the border wall and border crossings into Mexico. The Visitors Center has an informative exhibit and friendly park rangers! Great visit for people new to the area or to bring El Paso visitors.
Holly K — Google review
Really wonderful little museum to complement this historic urban park. I was surprised to see such great exhibits. The ranger working, Danielle, greeted me and introduced me to the exhibits. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and approachable. I even bought some souvenirs at the gift shop. The park itself is not very large, so it's easy to walk around and see the second international boundary marker (the one closer to the road and not on front of the museum). There were not many people here which made for a peaceful evening, but there were quite a lot of high school kids walking through when I arrived at rush hour.
Garrett V — Google review
Large beautiful park and monument, commemorating the peaceful resolution of the “chamizal problem”, a decades long border dispute between Mexico and the US. As part of the resolution land was set aside to memorialize the peaceful resolution and friendship between the countries. There is a park with walking trails and also a visitors center/cultural center. Inside is a small but extremely interesting museum about the conflict and the resolution. There is also an art gallery and theater for cultural performances. The park is staffed by some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable and proud park rangers I have ever encountered. As a national monument it is park of the national park service so there is a passport stamp station inside. The outside is also a great place to walk around and the grounds open early for recreation. The park and buildings are impeccably maintained. Highly recommend this monument if you are in El Paso! You will learn a lot and enjoy yourself immensely.

San Jacinto Plaza is a serene urban oasis that beautifully blends history with modern charm. This vibrant town square, revitalized in 2014, features lush green spaces, inviting park benches, and shady trees perfect for relaxation. Visitors can engage in friendly games of ping pong or chess while exploring the plaza's rich heritage through its 16 historic markers. A highlight of San Jacinto Plaza is the striking sculpture 'Los Lagartos,' which pays homage to the alligators once found in its pond.
Nice little park in downtown El Paso with a water feature with an Alligator statue at the center of it. The statue represents a time when live alligators had a enclosure with a pond, grass and and island habitat in the sixties and early seventies for a minute. The first alligators were a gift from either a governor or a mayor for a city from the state of Louisiana to the then El Paso Mayor. They lived in the park for a couple years till they were rerouted at the El Paso Zoo for their own safety. The have the park decorated with lights all year round. In December, they add additional lights and Christmas and winter decorations. Very pretty. I would love it if they had piped in music or musicians playing weekly in the park. A place to chill and hear some music as well while visiting the Downtown shopping and restaurants.

San Jacinto Plaza is a well maintained area at the heart of El Paso downtown. The park is clean, spacious and well planned. This park has very nice views of the overall regions, from the interior angle. All the major hotels, restaurants and museums are in walking distance from this location. This is more of a family friendly place. The park located here has great vibes and ambience. A lovely place to go for a stroll after a good meal or for a great walk/jog in the morning. The place is easily identifiable from the main street

Its always beautiful at this park. It can get busy during the weekend. But its nice on a weekday afternoon. There are runner meet up here sometimes. But the light and the location is great. Its close to multiple bars and restaurants. And its got a cute coffee shop right before you take your walk around the park

It's a beautiful Plaza, you can take the Streetcar ( for Free) a Block away at Franklin Ave. ( it goes all the way to Downtown). Such a beautiful views and restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. Check out the free museums close to. Holocaust Museum and El Paso Museum of History ( free entrance).

The WinterFest at San Jacinto Plaza in Downtown El Paso TX. Just beautiful! No entry fee, come as you are, or dress up in your Sunday's best, either way, this is must see, if you are local. The downtown "Placita" lights up the square, with a majestic winter wonderland, including "snow" from the artificial snow maker. Live entertainment, and with a plethora of food & drink options. You can feel the energy in the air, and can't help yourself to get into that warm wonderful Christmas spirit. Highly recommend it, you won't regret it. Other amenities, a small skating rink, and free El Paso Trolley rides, and everything decorated with lights & wonder. I believe I read somewhere that this, the El Paso WinterFest, ranked as one of the top Christmas activities in TX? Don't wait to long as it seems to attract more people with each day closer to Christmas. 🎄

I like the Plaza, there are lots of spots to hangout and many great places to eat all around it. Winter Fest is cool too.

Wonderful place to take the person you love for a walk. I love to walk in the downtown area at night now. When I was younger it was too dangerous but now they have bicycle cops riding around. It's the perfect spot for a nice romantic dinner at one of the restaurants in downtown and then a stroll around town. Especially during Xmas time.

The Plaza Theatre, originally constructed in the 1930s and restored to its former glory in 2006, is a historic gem located in downtown El Paso. This National Historic Building of Significance offers free tours every Tuesday, allowing visitors to admire its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, mosaic-tiled floors, antique furniture, and a stunning design that creates the illusion of an outdoor courtyard under a starry painted ceiling.
First time here. Beautiful building with an erie vibe. Beetlejuice was a perfect match for the building. I was nearly late back to my seat from intermission. Bartenders were mixing drinks and opening wine, which means long waits. I wish they had a couple of express lines for just water or cokes. I had to buy a handful for my party. My suggestion is to skip the drinks and hydrate before the show and if your a big guy like me, get a walkway or front seat. My poor knees had to angle sideways. Very tight.
Ricky Q — Google review
A beautiful theater, for sure! Sitting is tight and a lot of stair climbing. Seniors will struggle here. Especially if your seats are on the balcony or heading to the restrooms. No elevator that I saw. Cost of drinks, astronomical! A picture I included, has the cost. For the ladies . Make sure you take a small clear bag. Otherwise, you can't take your purse in. The Temptations did not fail.
Oscar B — Google review
I was originally upset with my experience of the Blue October concert here but it was beautifully turned around by amazing staff. My mom and I didnt pick our seating (the tickets were a gift) and they were very unfortunate placing for me as I can not stand long due to a medical condition and everyone in attendance wanted to stand...I have 0 view of the stage from my seat and decided to start leaving as I was upset but a staff member was kind enough to find us seats on the balcony that greatly improved my experience! The stairs are hard for me but were worth it, I believe the staff member was a manager and I didn't catch his name but I say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS! I wish the place was more handicap friendly but regardless I appreciate the help and hope to come here for future events as I do enjoy plays/musicals as well!

One of the best-preserved silent film theaters in the world. The history, design, craftsmanship, and overall restoration were amazing to learn about. We had a guided tour led by the El Paso Community Foundation and got to see every part of this amazing gem. We were even treated to an amazing pipe organ performance by two gentlemen who were excellent musicians. If you ever have a chance to watch a film here or attend an event, don't miss the opportunity.

What to expect: parking lot $15 in a multi layer lot. Bags will be searched and have to be in a see through material so will save you the time from returning them to your car. Inside was surprising antique look and huge audience area. Bathrooms can be a line during recess but the kind staff are there to guide you to another hidden bathroom by the elevator. Love it and I am glad I went.

The plaza was refurbished in 2017, and they did a great job. It's beautifully done. The men's bathroom space could be improved a little. I went to see the 50th anniversary of Kansas. If you're a fan of their music, then it's worthwhile. The sound quality was very good. It's not a huge venue, but it seemed to have ample space.

The El Paso Museum of Art showcases a diverse collection in 5 galleries, reflecting the city's American, Mexican, and European heritage. Established in 1959, it has become a prominent cultural institution in West Texas and New Mexico. The museum houses the renowned Kress collection, Spanish Viceroyal art, American works, and an extensive contemporary collection featuring new art from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico.
El Paso Museum of Art is a wonderful place that depicts the long history of El Paso since its inception. The artifacts kept in the exhibit are quite interesting. It has various diverse elements. The building architecture and surrounding is also very good. The museum is very well maintained and free to visit for the public. It has a small kids' play zone. Need to plan an hour or two to properly explore the museum. The location is easily identifiable and has other relative museums of the city that are close by as well

Very nice building and very clean. It was easy to get to, only a 10 minute walk from our hotel and it was free admission. The museum itself had some interesting exhibits, but overall I found it boring. It didn’t take long to walk through the whole thing. I felt it wasn’t as captivating as other art museums I’ve been to. But it is worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a good way to burn some time downtown El Paso. This is not a typical Museum, the art displayed on the walls is painted by what I assumed to be local people or artists. There are different types of art, from paintings to handmade objects. It was pretty neat to see. There is no complaining when the entry is free. The place is well-maintained and very clean. Overall, it was a great stop while you are downtown. Conveniently placed across the parking garage downtown!!

Superb free to visit museum with galleries on two floors. There are exhibits which include the work of young local artists and iconic religious art. However, the two most powerful collections are based on gender motivated violence and of art based on experiences connected to the nearby border, which are both excellent.

Absolutely love the coffee. It's consistent and creamy. Hardly any scoops are necessary for a 32 oz french press and you'll get a great tasting medium blended brew. Service treats you real kind and the food is wonderful as well. I just wish there were a bit more options for food.

The first time I went to the coffee box I got like this chocolate drink, yum it was so good I couldn't wait to go again. When I did I got a charcoal coffee drink and it was also so delicious. Every drink I've gotten here was made to perfection. They're also cool! I got a free drink on my birthday! I love the vibe , it's super laid back. Everybody is so nice and they have such an aesthetic coffee shop. I like that it's situated in downtown. Close for students and at a convenient place next to San jacinto park which is pretty neat. First time dining here, and it was okay overall. The atmosphere and the staff made my rating from 3 stars to 4. The food landed in the middle for me. Aesthetically, all the dishes were beautifully plated. They missed the mark with my scallops entrée, more than half of the scallops were undercooked sadly. The bread didn't impress me too much either (lavender and garlic) My friend's side dish (mashed potatoes) was completely cold. This is what I did like: The grilled octopus and the cheesecake were INCREDIBLE. The crab cakes were good, too. As stated previously, the staff was kind and attentive, so that's always a plus for me. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. I might go back in the future to give it another chance.

It was a solid performance. We were a party of 6. Server was very attentive. Food was good. We had the prawn brouchette and the prime rib. We also got the chili soup lol. Honestly the chili soup was good but it just taste like the sauce from enchilada suizas. Which is fine by me since I love enchiladas. We also had thw stuffed portobello mushrooms as an appetizer. They were good but a bit heavy on the Balsamic reduction. Only complaint really was the potatos were super creamy but bland. 4 star is a good review. We will be back. Love the service.

This place was so so good. Their corn bread and raisin bread for starters was what I could keep eating but I had to save my appetite for their seafood enchiladas which I really loved. And my boyfriend loved his steak. Over all, I love the ambiance, food, and service. I wish the wait time was a little shorter.

Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My husband and I are visiting from Dallas and had the most wonderful meal here…the Prawn brochette was perfect and the Puntes de Filette with the ribeye was one of the most delicious things we’ve ever tasted. Our server Nick was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very comprehensive wine list. The atmosphere, including a lovely singer/piano duo, was great with just the right mix of fancy and lively. Highly recommend Cafe Central for a nice night out in El Paso!

My husband and I went for our 21st wedding anniversary. We frequent the restaurant from time to time, just for no reason, but if you have a special occasion, this is the place to go. It really is the classiest restaurant in town. We also come here for business dinners. They usually have a live singer and pianist - they are great, but when they are playing, it can be loud and harder to chat, but when they take a break, the noise level is good. The food is good and consistent and not even that expensive anymore, compared to other lesser restaurants. Service is usually also good. We had Adam this last time and he was nice. Cocktails are always good and they have a great wine list. My husband gets the Chilean sea bass every time and I almost always get the puntas de filete. We shared crab cakes for an appetizer - a little spicy kick to them and they were tasty. We also each got a salad. It’s simple, but tasty. They brought out a nice chocolate dessert for our anniversary and had a card on the table - what great, personalized touches. Highly recommend!

Your sentence is almost correct, but it needs a little punctuation adjustment to read smoothly and correctly. Here’s the corrected version: ✅ "Granted, it is somewhat pricey; however, the food, service, and atmosphere are worth the value." Explanation: Comma after "Granted" — introductory words like granted should be followed by a comma. Semicolon before "however" — however joins two independent clauses, so it should be preceded by a semicolon (or you could make two sentences). "are worth" — the subject food, service, and atmosphere is plural, so the verb should be are, not is. You could also make it simpler: Granted, it’s somewhat pricey, but the food, service, and atmosphere are worth the $$$.

Mexican restaurant
Good Luck Cafe, located on Alameda Avenue in the Durazno neighborhood of El Paso, is a veteran diner known for its homestyle Mexican cuisine. The plain space with counter seats offers a welcoming atmosphere for patrons to enjoy dishes like menudo and chilaquiles. Despite the small parking lot and occasional long lines, visitors rave about the delicious food and quick service.
Been coming here for years! Belinda was awesome and very attentive. She was also funny! Definitely recommend the Caldo De Rez, the small is good for starter, but the large bowl is amazing! The Hamburger steak is also super flavorful and filling. Go with a appetite for sure! Depending on the time and day, there will be a line, so plan to wait a bit, but well worth it!

This place has a variety of different options to chose from. I had the cheeseburger which is a good size. The meat isn’t too thick, more on the thinner side. The side of fries is a basket and are allowed to do half fries and half onion rings. There are other sides available as well. Other plates that have been recommended (shown in the pictures) shredded beef tacos. The green salsa they give in little cups is pretty good & not spicy.

**First Timer Review** Excellent service. Extremely clean restaurant. Delicious food. You can tell the staff actually likes what they do. Lots of laughs and lots of hard work was going the whole time. I definitely recommend 10/10!

This was my second time in my life (I am from Germany or I would come here more often) and it was delicious as always. It was full but that just speaks for the quality of the food and the very reasonable pricing. A "must go" place in El Paso.

I stopped by on a whim and enjoyed it very much. It was very busy, but I got a seat quickly, and the meal was served quickly once I ordered. All i had was Huevos a la Mexicana, which came with a tortilla beans and potatoes. Everything was good, but everything needed a bit of salt. The tortilla seemed to be "homemade". There is a restaurant on the corner with a similar name but it is a different restaurant.

Took my son for breakfast got him menudo but it turned out to have had hair clippings in it like someone got a hair cut and went to cook right after . Hair is hair No sorry can I get you something or any offer to make it right and instead saw them making gestures at us while laughing it off. No apology just removed it from the bill like he didn't just eat somebody's hair. So come one come all for some crappie service hair in your food place that can care less about the food they serve.
Alex M — Google review
During my recent visit, I ordered a side of French fries. The waitress informed me that it was a small size. However, upon reviewing the menu, I noticed that only a single size of fries is offered, with no specific sizing options available.
Cecil V — Google review
This was hands down the best menudo I have ever had!!!! It was not too thick and had the right amount of meat. The hominy was a great throwback as the East and West coast menudos do not include it. Having bread instead of tortillas was a great mix as well. I'm definitely coming here for my menudo when I visit again.

Saw the El Paso Locomotive soccer game of the USL Championship league at Southwest University Park and they did not disappoint ! Had a great view of the field and they ended up winning 6-0 ! The stadium is in downtown El Paso and is right next to the train tracks, you can hear and feel the train when it’s passing by, adding to the great environment ! Support your local teams !

Nestled in the heart of the Las Plazas Arts District, El Paso Street is a charming area adorned with twinkling lights and vibrant neon signs. The district offers a delightful stroll, with trendy spots like Anson 11 and Sabor for drinks and appetizers. Meanwhile, Southwest University Park is home to the El Paso Chihuahuas, the city's minor league baseball team affiliated with the San Diego Padres.
I haven't ever been here before, I was given home plate tickets. We didn't spend much time watching the game because I'm not very interested in sports, but we spent a lot of time touring the facility. I can tell you I have never been anywhere where the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was with a disabled friend and everyone was looking out for her. We were very interested in the works of art hung up in the buildings and the staff even let us into areas for higher level ticket holders so that we could enjoy the art there. We did not encounter one single employee who didn't seem to be glad to be there and glad to help us. The facility is quite beautiful. We never actually went to our seats because there were a lot of stairs to get to them and a kind employee seated us at the very top of the row by the restaurant which was much more accessible for my disabled friend.

Great game. However the food concessionsary was terrible that night. They had a 30 to 40 minute wait after you stand a long line. They could not serve beer because only foam was coming out. No French fries, unless you wait another 30 minutes. Terrible

This is by far, the best minor league MLB stadium I have been to. The staff were excellent and took great care of the fans and the facility. They call this place "Mini Petco Park", and I can see why. It's beautiful. The Chihuahuas (Padres) were playing the Aviators (A's) and it was a great game with some great hits. We sat to the right of home plate next to the visitors' dugout. Very cool experience to see these sluggers up close and be that close to the action. But the truth is, with this design, there really isn't a bad seat in the ballpark. The food and beverage program here is top, top tier. Too much to cover here but just enjoy it all. Go Chihuahuas!

🌟 5/5 Stars – A Gem in the Heart of El Paso! 🌟 Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas, is hands down one of the best minor league stadiums I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly blends modern design with El Paso’s unique charm. The views of downtown and the Franklin Mountains are absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. The stadium is super clean, well-maintained, and very family-friendly. There’s even a splash pad and playground area for kids, which is a huge plus if you’re bringing the whole family. Concessions are top-notch! You can grab classic ballpark snacks or try some local flavors—definitely recommend the Juárez dog or anything with that El Paso twist. The energy from the crowd, fun in-game entertainment, and friendly staff make every game feel like a big event. Whether you’re a baseball fan or just looking for a fun night out, this stadium is a must-visit. El Paso should be proud of this place—it’s more than just a ballpark, it’s a great community experience. ⚾🌆🔥

First time golfing and our family loved it. Sometimes it hard to keep teens engaged and off their phones- this was a game changer. We all loved it... so much so our younger two teens wanted their birthday parties 🥳 there. This has become our favorite family pastime. Also, they have great party packages and worth the price!

I came for the food (while my husband played). I’m vegetarian and ordered the pizza. The pizza reminds me of lunchables pizza…I was very disappointed. The fries were amazing and my husband enjoyed the bone in wings but have had better.

It's was a great first experience. Pablo took such good care of us. His recommendations were on point. Kevin the manager made us feel welcomed and valued. Every guest there was having a great time and that's a testament to the hard work management and staff do to create a fun and inviting atmosphere for all. Thank you to Joe Ortiz who on a random night out ate at my husbands restaurant, Crazy Crab and extended the invitation to go and experience Top Golf for the first time.

Amazing place. We were a group visiting El Paso and wanted to have a nice activity on a Saturday night. We went to Topgolf to attend a latino dancing event. We danced and had lots of fun. But we also played golf. We booked on the 3rd floor and we had a blast. We also ordered some appetizers, they were very delicious. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Strongly recommended if you are visiting El Paso.

FUN, GOOD FOOD, & all you gotta bring is GOOD COMPANY!!! Even if you go alone, the staff is friendly and welcoming. You don’t feel alone. We were served by Jazmin and she was wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. The manager, Adrian, very welcoming and just as attentive as his staff. The food…delicious!!!! We’ve been to Top Golf so many times and have tried just about everything. ALL of it is good! They have new game options for the kids that kinda looks like the Minecraft version of golf. It’s called , Block Party. It was so much fun! I highly recommend for family fun, date night, breakfast/brunch fun, or solo!

It's a cool venue in a cool scenic setting. Had a great time here. I was here for a business gathering. My company catered food which was pretty delicious. We had a fajita bar. The cookies were pretty delicious as well. Service was a bit of a miss as I felt the management could be identified by red polos and seemed cold and inhospitable. They also seemed rushed to get us out as well. I also asked for water and never received it after numerous attempts. They have a nice bar sitting area inside as well. I recommend it for a one time visit, but I'm sure over time the novelty will wear off. In some ways it already had for people like myself that have been around areas that have Topgolf

Nature & Parks
When visiting El Paso, be sure to set aside some time to explore the delightful El Paso Municipal Rose Garden. This picturesque oasis boasts an impressive collection of over 1,460 rose bushes comprising more than 320 aromatic varieties. Maintained by dedicated volunteers, the garden continues to expand each year with new roses that have been carefully evaluated for their ability to thrive in the local climate.
Two weeks from now, they'll all be in full bloom! Super friendly volunteers here, and they keep the Rose Garden very clean. You really should drop by at some point just to get away and smell the 💐 roses. Perfect place to take your wife, girlfriend (probably not both at the same time, but you do you), mother, or children for the picture-perfect Instagram shot.

Clearly we came a little early😅 the flowers are just starting to bloom and bud!! Excited to see it now and later when we come back and the flowers are in full bloom. The atmosphere is very nice and peaceful.

A nice size rose garden for a desert city. They have a large selection of award-winning roses here. At the time of my visit in early May, there were a lot of fading blooms and not many new ones to see. There is shade and covered seating so not a bad place to ce and just relax for a bit. There is a section that is wheelchair accessible. Worth a look. I would really like to wander through at the height of blooms.
Bradford C — Google review
A nice spot for a short stroll with roses and other flowers, but nothing too extraordinary. If you're in El Paso just for a weekend or a quick trip, you can probably skip it in favor of other attractions. Best to visit in the evening during summer since it gets hot and humid. The park is free to enter, has plenty of parking, and is wheelchair accessible. They occasionally have weekend events, so check ahead if you're interested.

This place is magical! If you want to stop and smell the flowers in the el paso hustle and bustle this place is the calm and tranquil. This is a spot that never gets old. They host weddings and there is foot traffic at time, but there is plenty of seating through so soak it in from all sides.

Cute little garden! Roses are one of my favorite flowers. So many beautiful flowers here. I will most definitely be back. The palm trees do need a little TLC, but over all, a nice garden.

Now that this place is under new management, we will absolutely consider going here more often. FRIENDLY staff & CLEAN! If you stay there long enough, you will actually see staff cleaning and taking care of the place. 10/10 recommend
Jennifer H — Google review
This place is so gross!! They post a lot on Facebook to try and attract people but it’s so dirty in there. Everything is broken! Cars don’t work right. Boats don’t even work. Water leaking all over the carpet. Floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. The restrooms are so dirty I thought I’d get hepatitis just being in there. The food is nasty. The workers are always on their phones and not paying attention when doing rides. There’s nothing nice to paint ( trying to charge me more for something I can get at Michaels, hobby lobby or dollar tree for cheaper) & on top of that their health inspection score is a 77…. They don’t even have the score/papers posted for customers to view and now I know why.
Bb — Google review
Great establishment for indoor fun for the kiddos. They had bumper boats and Go-Karts (small track/pod), but doable for my 4-year-old. They had face painting/tattoo/dress-up parlor. Nice-sized tunnel mazes with slides. Even a baby/toddler area for them to slide, go in a home, and paint. I was impressed, especially with the size of the establishment. Recommended for just a spontaneous day with the kids when you do not want to be in the heat and sun.
Christina T — Google review
Clean and staff are very friendly. Food was good too. It was gated and felt safe. My kids had a blast. I would totally recommend this place if you don’t feel going to the pool to drain kids energy. We had groupon for Rockin Jump they didn‘t want to accept the voucher having all lame excuse it‘s still school break... So we went here instead and had a blast.. I also had a groupon for here but we had so much fun we came back. We go here almost weekly kids love it. Perfect size not to big.

we live out in sunland and don’t get to go often but we are glad we did we got the time to watch the girls play and enjoy our time. The workers are patient and kind the food came out great and the kids really loved it. Ariel recommend the vip pass and we completely agree it made the visit easier than having to purchase many tickets. It seemed busier than usual when we arrived but it wasn’t too bad. The curly haired young man was very helpful. one of my girls got her face painted the other liked the arts and crafts
Jonathan C — Google review
Interesting place and entertaining for the kids. Food selection was decent. It was clean here and staffed decently. However very pricey. $$$$$ Admission fee and then tickets for everything including water color arts and crafts.
Paul F — Google review
First time visiting this place and it was pretty fun and entertaining for the kids. The employees were super friendly and helpful although it seemed like they were very short staffed. The ladies were all over the place working from one section until it slowed down then they would move to a section that was busy to help out. The atmosphere was very child friendly but many of the rides were shut down, this I'm guessing is due to covid-19. I'm giving a rating of four stars because I think the price is very high. We came there with 3 kids, ages 7, 3, 1 and ended up paying nearly $110.00. The gave us coupons though for 3 free slices of pizza and when we went to redeem them they gave us and extra 4th slice at no charge which was cool.

Park Tavern is a stylish and trendy restaurant located in Downtown El Paso, near the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Museum of History. The modern decor and comfortable setting make it an ideal spot for enjoying a wide selection of wines, craft brews, and cocktails. The menu features New American pub eats including steaks, sandwiches, mashed potatoes, and fries.
Delicious food. A great place to go for a special occasion or if you're visiting El Paso and walking around downtown and want something delicious and a bit upscale (but not snooty or ridiculously upscale). The steaks and the pork tenderloin is good, as are all the sides and the drinks. I've also had a delicious green chile cheeseburger there for lunch, and there's things to keep the kids very happy.

Went for Happy Hour. I ended up getting happy hour drinks but a main menu dish bc the happy hour food options did not appeal to me,at all. Seemed like... Pre-appetizers instead of a small meal I'm accustomed to. All happy hour drinks were immaculate and delicious! Truly enjoyed them. I ordered the lamb rack and it was delicious!! I will come back for main meals but maybe just drinks for happy hour unless the options change.
Lena M — Google review
A friend and I were excited to try this place. This is place that just wasn't "all it's cracked up to be". The food was okay, my skirt steak was tender but have had better chimichurri sauce at other restaurants. The drinks were also good but just not great which was disappointing given the fact that we upgraded to better quality liquor. The servers were super nice and attentive and service was fast. This is a place that I was glad I tried but wouldn't go again.
Diana — Google review
Very nice place, service is excellent unfortunately food is mid. For the prices everything should be perfect. We started with the calamari. Nothing wrong with it but also nothing special about it. For the main course we ordered the branzino and the skirt steak. The fish was fried very hard and had little to no seasoning. The asparagus it was served with was not properly prepared and the fibrous bottoms were left on. It could've used some acidity. The mac and cheese was bland. The skirt strak was cooled well but the chimichurri was surprisingly not as flavorful and bright as a chimichurri should be. The fingerling potatoes were nondescript and the Brussels sprouts were actually seasoned and cooked well. The salads that came with the meals were also good. Overall a nice dining experience but the food was not as impressive as I had hoped.

We went to this tavern to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had the perfect ambient lighting for a special evening out. I ordered the salmon, and it was phenomenal — juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection with a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture. My husband had the skirt steak, which was incredibly flavorful, rich, and perfectly seasoned — every bite was savory and satisfying. My son ordered the New York steak, and it was just as impressive — beautifully seared on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. To top off the evening, they surprised my husband with a warm brownie for dessert and we sang happy birthday. It was such a lovely gesture and made the night even more special. Everything — from the food to the service and the cozy atmosphere — made it an unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Phenomenal service, food, cleanliness right downtown El Paso. Would absolutely return. The Elk Tenderloin, the Lamb Rack, and the Duck Tostones were all 10/10.

First time here and the people were so polite, the environment was nice, and the food was spectacular! All the plates we ordered were so delicious! My favorite were the Brussels sprouts

Like many others, I ordered the meatloaf. It had good flavor and was a huge portion, but there were hard chunks in the mashed potatoes that I think were bacon? They were very awkward to eat. I ordered the hibiscus margarita and did not enjoy it.

Visited Saturday 2/3/24 around 1230 pm was a little busy had to wait about 5 mins for a table so not that long but when we were leaving it was definitely about a 20 to 30 minute wait. They did not sell any type of beer when we visited. Pizza is very good. The pastrami sandwich is my favorite. This place is considered a local gem in El Paso. Prices for lasagna with garlic bread as of writing this was $12.95. Large hot pastrami sandwich was $14.95 i added mushrooms for $2 more. Large 1 topping pizza (hamburger aka ground beef) was about $17 for a 14 inch pizza. One Soft drink is $2.75. Side of ranch is $1.50. 1 topping sausage sub sandwich was $6.95 definitely was majority bread and my least favorite thing so skip if you can. I would visit again but stick to pastrami, lasagna, or pizza. 5 people paid $72 before tip (see my receipt in the images).
Amber V — Google review
I love the Pastrami subs here. They are not greedy with the meat. The only draw back is it's 16.00. I know they've have the same menu for decades and it's working good for then. I just think they should add fries/ onion rings to the menu.

We stopped by House of Pizza and ordered a House Pizza (extra-large) and a pastrami sandwich—both were absolutely delicious! The XL pizza is huge and perfect for sharing, loaded with fresh ingredients that really stood out. The pastrami sandwich was just as impressive: flavorful, packed with high-quality pastrami, and very tasty overall. The atmosphere inside is welcoming and lively—it was packed when we went, which says a lot about how popular this spot is. One thing to note: it’s cash only, but they do have an ATM inside for convenience. All in all, fresh ingredients, great flavor, generous portions, and a nice vibe. Highly recommend!

Best pizza I've had in El Paso, perfectly cooked, crispy crust, homemade sauce, fresh veggies... What more would you want? 2nd best Pastrami Sandwich I've ever had... Just wish they came with the little yellow peppers. Meat was moist and fell apart easily unlike some that are really chewy. Service was fast, waitress was really nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Sushi restaurant
Sushi Garden is a delightful open-air dining spot that beautifully blends sushi and Japanese grill offerings in a relaxed, leafy environment. Established in 2014 by Mr. and Mrs. Chang, this charming eatery combines West Coast Asian recipes with South Korean influences, all while adding a unique El Paso twist. The inviting outdoor patio features an extensive bar selection of beer, wine, scotch whiskey, and even cigars—perfect for those looking to unwind.
Great quality sushi for the price, the place it's a little small but cozy we only had to wait 20 minutes to get seated on a Saturday night. The have a good variety of options and very adorable lunch options during the week.

Located in a shopping center next to a Mexican restaurant. Quick seating and service. Quiet atmosphere. Soft instrumental music. Great for a date night and BYOB!

Food was delicious and the service was great! Honestly blessed to have business people who dare to get fresh cuts of fish and parse them out into Affordable, Delicious creations. Very Pleasant dining experience! Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for over a decade. Today, I visited here with my family—2 adults, 2 kids, and a toddler (1yrs and half) —to celebrate my child’s birthday. The food is still great, and my kids loved it. However, I was surprised after when I asked for bill from the staff and I learn that that their policy recently changed just coupe days ago. and we were not informed ahead of time that an 18% gratuity would be automatically added for parties of 5 or more. I asked the staff why this wasn’t mentioned before we placed our order. They were point on the menu with small print left on corner and they did apologized, which I appreciated. I just want to leave a comment for others: if you’re coming with 5 or more people—even if the fifth person is a toddler—be aware that an 18% gratuity will be added to your bill. I still paid an additional tip on top of that.

I don't know how many times I passed by and never thought about trying Sushi Garden out until tonight. My friend recommended it, so we decided to have dinner there. OMG! it's a small and very cozy restaurant and the food? Absolutely delicious! We loved it. We had 4 different rolls and the fried mixed rice. There was nothing that we didn't totally enjoy. Our server Luis gave us excellent customer service. Always on top of everything. And even though they were packed, our food came out pretty soon. The ambiance was really nice, and we truly enjoed the music. Overall, we loved it, had a great experience, and definitely recommend it 😀.

If you're looking for an amazing sushi experience that won't break the bank, look no further than this little gem near the UT El Paso campus. The sushi here is simply exploding with flavor - each bite is a delicious explosion of taste and texture that will leave your taste buds begging for more. But what really sets this place apart is its affordability. Despite the incredible quality of the food, the prices here are shockingly reasonable. And with lunch specials starting at just 6 dollars. Of course, it's not just the food that makes this place great. The ambiance is wonderful too, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying your meal with friends and loved ones. And the staff is incredibly helpful, always happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions you may have. Two sushi rolls were enough to make us full and happy, and we can't wait to come back and try more. So if you're in the area and looking for some amazing sushi, be sure to check this place out - you won't be disappointed!

We’ve always enjoyed Sushi Garden, and I have great respect for the owner—she’s a truly lovely person. However, during a recent lunch visit, the service fell short of expectations. There was only one server on duty (a man with glasses), and while I understand lunch can be a busy time, his demeanor was less than courteous. I ordered three lunch meals, two of which were for my children. When the food arrived, I noticed the chicken had sauce on top and mentioned that my kids likely wouldn’t eat it that way. I asked if it could be served without sauce, and instead of a helpful or understanding response, he gave me an attitude and a look that felt unnecessarily dismissive. He replied, “Usually the chicken comes with sauce on top,” which would have been helpful to know earlier, though I understand it was my oversight not to clarify when ordering. Every restaurant serves katsu chicken differently, and I simply hoped for a bit more flexibility and professionalism. We still enjoy the food and atmosphere, but the service on this occasion was mediocre.

Sushi here is good here. I will admit I feel like I have to give this place an other good to give it a good review. I had lemon …. Something roll, the rock n roll, and I can remember the other roll. But it was good. Over all good. It is small and fills up quick. I will admit I have never had spicy tuna like the one they have but it was good. I can’t wait to come back with a little more time to really enjoy the food.

Mexican restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful Mexican dining experience, look no further than Tacotote! This counter-serve chain specializes in an array of mouthwatering tacos, all crafted with handmade tortillas that elevate each bite. The highlight is undoubtedly their salsa bar, which offers a variety of flavors to complement your meal perfectly. Many visitors rave about the generous portions and delicious taste that exceed expectations.
I’m impressed of this place. First time ordering and ordered a family meal. Is beyond my expectations. VERY generous servings. food is tasty! But above all the lady who attended me over the phone April 4 2025 at 11:30-12noon was very professional, she greeted me with a smile and all my food was ready even when I ordered with a short time for 15 people. She went above and beyond if not mistaken Paulina was her name. But in general the staff is very nice. Sorry I was in such rush I didn’t tip for my to go order. She does deserve that 25% tip!

The entire experience was disappointing. It was hard to find a clean table. I waited over 20 minutes for my food, I had to pick it up myself, it was just there on the counter. My meat was cold and tasteless. The rice tasted like tomato and the beans were not good. The guacamole had more tomatoes than avocados and tasted like lemons!! My favorite food but I don't think I will be returning to this location on Zaragoza. The restrooms were dirty, no toilet paper!!!! 🤨

Fantastic employees, they were working super hard. Also great food. My only complaint is that what I assumed was a manager in a black button up shirt, keep seeing his team struggle and did not helped. If he would of helped everyone's food would of been out faster. Really poor management. Ps. girl in the red shirt was really impressive manning 3 stations

Tried to call ahead and was placed on hold for almost thirty minutes. Decided just to order at the drive thru. Spent almost half an hour behind two cars before I could reach the speaker. When it was my turn to order, I was asked to give them a minute both when I reached the menu board and in the middle of ordering. Waited another twenty minutes before they took my order. By the time I received my food, I had been there almost fifty minutes. They also forgot a side item but corrected the error with no issue. Food was good but the wait is incredulous.

The food is phenomenal. The service outstanding. Very clean modern updated restaurant with very friendly people working behind the counters. The cooks do an outstanding job. I highly recommend this place for one person or like me a whole family.

We ordered sirloin tacos. The meat was not even warm! And the pieces were large, and they did not cut out the fat. The corn tortillas were cold. Tacotote need to hire some real cooks that know how to cook. It was hard to digest these tacos. Probably won’t go back for a LONG time.

Visiting El Paso for the first time and decided to try the tacos here. They taste fine, but they are way overpriced and falsely advertised as "home or the big taco" or something like that. They are small, average tacos. Way too expensive for the size. 2 tacos for $16??? No thanks.

Love TacoTote and everytime I'm in El Paso it's a must stop for us. . This one location is alright. I wasn't too impressed with the lady taking our order. She seemed super dry and very short. And the tone of voice almost made it sound like we were an inconvenience. But then again not being able to see ones face or body language can be me reading too much into a voice conveyed through an interphone. Other than that, at the window they were a little bit better. Except when they handed us our order As soon as I reached to grab it and put it down, I turned back up to ask if they gave us straws and the window was slammed shut and never got anyone to pay attention to a waiting customers on the other side. Lucky for us there were straws in the bag at the bottom. All in all a very strange encounter... But then again these are very trying times for everyone so won't look too much into it. Food was good as usual. One more thing, we asked for green sauce and got guacamole instead... One last thing, you are required to wear a mask at the drive thru window and they will ask for your ID for any transaction more than $25.
