It’s our family’s old time favorite bakery. Nostalgic for my mother in law to visit her old neighborhood bakery with fresh baked goods: piña empanadas & macaroons.

Excellent prices and the pan dulce is amazing. Definitely the OG bakery here in El Paso!

The donuts were great. They drop your donuts in paper bags, which don't hold up to multiple donuts. Then you have icing all over the paper bags and not the donuts. We had to throw away several donuts that were crammed in the paper bag. I don't recommend buying more than you can eat at one time because the trashcan will get them. The jelly from my jelly filled was all over 2 other donuts, and it was a sticky mess. I recommend them changing their packaging for donuts into a box instead of a messy paper bag.

I hadnt passed by the area since when I was very young during the 1970's. And to stop by to get some bread kinds before like with another family ones too but maybe my dad did when he had a chance to travel in the U.S. from San Diego to the same area for his job .

I grew up in Segundo Barrio so this bread was a staple in our home. Yes at one point this was probably the best sweet bread in El Paso but those days are long gone. The bread is good however very expensive. Five dollars gets you three pieces. Honestly you can get better pastries at Albertsons and better prices at Vista.

This Bakery is a MUST! I VISITED TODAY, 06/27/23, And they're Pan Dulce is as good as EVER!!!! I grew up with Bakery, and I had to have their maranitos! I highly recommend this Bakery if you want Authentic Mexican Sweet Bread!!! Go ahead and Try it!!!🧁

This is where the locals go for their sweet tooth fix. But not only! I asked a local which place has the best tamales... He didn't think twice and recommended Bowie bakery! Now this is my first time eating tamales, so I can't compare, but the place had quite a few people! Their tres leches cake is one of the best I have had! The rice pudding is quite good as well! It is an El Paso staple, so definitely worth a visit! Great people, friendly, helpful and patient! Recommend!

I purchased a 10-inch round Disney Cars themed cake for my son's third birthday. I notified her about 3 weeks in advance, and the communication was wonderful. I submitted photos of my vision, and she delivered with exceptional quality and service. We loved the confetti cake and the 2 dozen cupcakes (half pina colada, half cookies and cream). My entire party complimented her work and the delicious taste. My son adored his cake and couldn't wait to dig in! Highly recommended!

The service was a wonderful experience. They coordinated with me through phone and email and were able to create the beautiful cupcakes for my mother's 80th surprise birthday party. The cupcakes were so beautiful that it was difficult to get the guests to take one. But everyone eventually got to taste them and they were delicious. I would highly recommend this Chantilly Cakes for any occasion!

This was my first time coming here because everyone has told me such good things. I was super excited and honestly the pastries we got were super good. The thing is I found a hair in two of the deserts that we got. The first my daughter found a hair and we just threw away and when I got to mine I literally had it in my mouth and felt the hair embedded in the pastry. It was probably the most disgusting thing ever. I have pictures but it won’t let me post them on here

Best bakery in town! I know the home town legends: Bowie, Gussie’s, Greggorson’s…. Those are great, too…. for cakes, and everyday treats, but Bella Cora provides the city with edible art. From the seemingly simply butter croissant made to flaky perfection to beautiful fruit tarts that are almost too pretty to eat. A must. A couple of seats available inside and coffee served, too. Thank you for expanding our palette, Bella Cora! One note that could make it better: more operating hours. Monday-Friday morning would be great!

The ambiance for this bakery was really nice. The employees were very personable and kind. The variety of options was great, and the prices are not to crazy. The taste of the blueberry scone was amazing! This is definitely one of the best bakeries, if not the vest, in town!

I love this place. The desserts and pastries are all aesthetically pleasing to the eye and they're ALL delicious too. Today we had a lemon lime mini cake and a lemon blueberry tart and they both were decadent and delicious. I highly recommend this spot! The desserts are a bit pricey but only because the quality of the desserts are on point. Oh! I've never really liked macaroons until I ate a rose flavored one today from here, it was perfection.

When looking for macrons in El Paso, the best ones that I've found is right here! The Lemon, Earl Gray, Vanilla, and Irish Cream were the best ones there. Word of warning though, the chocolate macron is absolutely horrible!

I am so glad that I found this bakery! Everything was so delicious. I tried a loaf of French bread, cream puff (huge), eclairs, fruit tart, macarons (coffee and chai). Must stop whenever in El Paso.

Someone suggested this place to me and it didn’t disappoint. I basically got one of everything. Next time I’m trying the bread for sure.

Julie is a wonderful person who has a passion for her work!! Most of all BIG THANKS for making an egg-less (vegan) cake for us. She made one of the cutest cake for our daughter's first birthday. It was a vanilla and strawberry cake with vanilla icing on the top. As yummy as it looked :) We have relished it till the last bite.

BEST VEGAN CAKES IN EL PASO! Hands down! The chef is incredible and I am forever grateful to her for making our baby shower so special with our cake! We ordered a wedding cake from Julie all the way from Houston. When we arrived at El Paso and met with her she was so friendly and willing to do anything to make her day special. On a short notice she was also able to deliver the cake, So that we would have time to do other things. When I arrived at the restaurant and saw the cake it was amazing. She did such a phenomenal job and it was very moist and the perfect amount of icing for the couple. Not to mention that the icing wasn’t an overkill of being too sweet. I couldn’t of asked for a better baker for this day. Several people asked us where we got the cake they thought it was absolutely beautiful and loved the way it tasted.

The owner was exceptional! She tailored the cupcakes exactly to our needs as Vegans. They were delicious with a banana flavor and chocolate icing and made for a memorable birthday. We will definitely be coming back!!!

If you want a vegan wedding cake, go here! She's lovely and knows what she's doing. When I wanted input, she was glad to provide suggestions for smaller desserts too. We had a small vanilla bean cake, which was super moist and not overbearingly sweet, zucchini bread, and bizcochos. Our families didn't even know it was vegan until we told them. My abuelita even approved of her bizcochos. That has never happened! I got the zucchini bread for a small gathering at my house and my friends were in love with it. I plan to keep stopping by her shop to give myself a treat every once in a while.

This place was awesome! Delicious! Very detail oriented and proud of her work! Hard worker and trustworthy! Works with your needs and wants! Money well spent! DISAPPOINTING I decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews but what I got made me feel like I got ripped off. I have gotten better looking cakes at Walmart/Sam's and for a fraction of the price. Regarding the taste is was cake, nothing different. When I placed the order I expected something nicer and expressed how I expected great tasting, specially knowing that it will get done by a pastry chef. I support local business, and she gave me good customer service but I can't say I would recommend this place.

Upon leaving the funeral service for our two brothers, my sister and I decided to stop at this perfect little place to have some comfort food. We were immediately greeted by the sweet smiles of the sweet girls that work there, and the pleasant aroma of fresh baked goods. We enjoyed delicious pastries, while we also had a chance to listen to the laughter in the building and see the smiles of the guests and the employees. Grew up in Germany. This was on my To do list before returning to MD! Great service! Enjoyed the courtesy sample of cheesecake. I also enjoyed the pretzel with speck(like a very thick cut of bacon, but prepared differently, rendering a different taste than bacon). The bratwurst was good, but the brotchen(roll) was lacking for me. If they could get a contract with Lidl or Aldis, I think it would do wonders as their bakery has brought me home every time! Best tiramisu we've ever had. Just the best texture and flavor! Amazing how light it feels almost like eating air you can finish a whole sheet of this cake and not notice you are that much.

I love supporting local businesses and this bakery is one of my favorites. I’ve been coming here for years and the quality of food has always been amazing. They have a large verity of breads, cookies and cakes. It’s a great place to go in the morning for some fresh bread or even just to stop by for a nice dessert. Additionally, they have seasonal cookies so it makes a really gift to bring the office or a family party. Overall it’s a wonderful bakery and I recommend it to everyone

First time walking in and it smelled great! There were so many choices and the dessert section looked so amazing but I needed to focus on breakfast pastries. I received great service as I asked questions about fillings. The pastries were delicious and delightfully just sweet enough. I really can't wait to come back for dessert and try those cute traditional cookies.

This place is amazing! I came in for the first time to check it out and I left with two loaves of rye bread for $6, they gave me an extra one for free because they closed in 30 minutes and they didn't want to waste food. The man there was very nice and we had a short conversation. I will definitely be back to try some pastries, they looked delicious.

Ordered a cake for a birthday. I went in person and requested this design. I also stated that I wanted chocolate cake but instead got vanilla - it seems like they didn't even bother looking at the order sheet. The cake was very dry the same day I got it. The spelling on the cake was also incorrect. I gave this place a try and also reached out to them but didn't even hear back. This cake was not worth it at all. I wouldn't recommend this place for a custom cake. You might as well get a cake at Costco or Albertson as they're 10X better than this place.

I ordered 5 cupcakes for my family for my son’s Birthday. The lady who sold the cupcakes was very pleasant, and I appreciated that very much. The cupcakes themselves were not good at all. I wish I had read some of the reviews before purchasing. All of the flavors we got had a cream cheese based frosting and tasted really bad. It was a waste of 20 dollars. I would not recommend these cupcakes to anyone. We tried all five flavors to see if any one of them was better, but they all disappointed. Left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Sorry for a bad review, but I have to be honest.

My best friend is having her first baby and ordered a cake from here. It looks like it was done in a rush. They requested lavender, with a polar bear and “welcome Aaliyah”. They did a teddy bear instead of a polar bear. They write “welcomer” instead of what was requested. The writing was written in gold and then drawn over with black. Everything was cracked. The ladder fell off before they gave us the cake. It’s cracked and falling apart. The balloon looks dirty and has little pieces of hair. Very dissatisfied with this cake. They offered $15 off (of a $200 cake). When it looked like it was done last minute and rushed. Don’t order from here.

I love this place they get the cake I want perfect each time. I have called and asked for different frostings and stuff and they can accommodate you to your needs. I have called them a week or 2 in advance and they have always told me yes. They have many different flavors I have tried about 7 and they are delicious. I have tasted the cake in cans before and I am so happy that I can find them in order places and happy that this cake boutique is getting recognition on them. They are amazing.

It was hard to get a pic that did this cake justice because of the colors and lighting, but we loved it! These ladies came through for us in a big way when we were planning my sons bar mitzvah. I showed up with such a vague idea and indecisive teenager, and they made his design idea into a cake. Of course the best part was the flavor! We did a 2 tier cake of lemon and chocolate. The kids LOVED the lemon cake and it disappeared surprisingly fast, I was shocked it was more popular than the chocolate! I'd definitely recommend this business and hope to use them in the future. I ordered an 8” carrot cake let the fiesta begin with hot pink ribbon and in addition to the cake I place an order of candles to go with cake but did not receive the candles. After having witnesses that the cake had no candles I called to report the problem. I was treated with unprofessionalism from Adam the supervisor in charge. Adam stated that there is nothing he can do because he was sure he put candles. Adam said he can not provide refund on candles do to he was adamant the candles were on the cake. Adam said I can email the boss and that was it. I said he did not provide a resolution and thanks for nothing he simply laughed at me immaturely.

0 stars if I could. Special ordered a blueberry cake in May for an office birthday. When we cut open and tasted the cake we realized that we had been given a vanilla cake instead. There was not a single blueberry in the cake and the picture looked nothing like what was on their website. I promptly called to report the mistake. After days of no returned calls I was finally able to get a hold of the manager/owner who was very arrogant over the phone and made several insinuations that I was lying despite me emailing both video and pictures of the cake. The owner then asked if there was any cake left as he wanted me to bring it back to the store. I explained that as he refused to return my calls in a timely manner it had already been nearly a week and as the cake was for an office party I could not very well take the cake out of people's mouths when we realized we had been given the wrong cake. After much go-round he finally conceded to giving me a partial credit via gift card and stated that the card had my name on it and would be "in the safe" for the next time I came around. Today, I went to buy another cake for another office bday thinking I would use the gift card, however surprise surprise there was no gift card in the safe and his staff seemed clueless and unhelpful. A woman finally came from the back stating that the best she could do was leave another message for the manager. I asked her to call the man to which she replied, "I cannot, he is in a meeting." I began to laugh stating, "this man is apparently busier and more important than CEOs of large corporations." To which she replied, "Yes, I get that a lot, a lot of people complain about that". I was obviously upset that I was being given the go round a 2nd time and potentially lied to about compensation for the cake mix up. The woman then disappeared into the back for a long while and finally returned telling me that she called the manager (apparently he was NOT in a meeting and unreachable as she initially told me) and that he "was downtown and would be back by 2:30". I informed her that I had to get back to work and could not wait and once again she took my information beginning the process all over again. She had an attitude from start to finish. I guess that's to be expected since customer service is non-existent from the owner and trickles down to the staff. I would also like to point out that an hour has since passed and I have yet to receive a call back from the owner who should already be back in the shop - so glad I didn't bother to rearrange my schedule and wait. The man has an inflated ego and overexaggerated sense of self. I used to order no less than 1 cake a month from this place for each of my employees birthdays, often more for holidays and friend/family birthdays as well, however we will happily take our business elsewhere. If I could leave zero stars I would. Misleading advertisement to get you to buy more while you are there. Honestly the tastes of the actual cake is mid- the only thing that’s tasty I the buttercream frosting. Will never buy from here again. Pretty sure it’s a franchise because I’ve never had customer service as poor in any other location. I was also behind a customer who had also been misled about her cake (over heard their conversation) she was unhappy and wanted to exchange her cake but because she literally walked out and right back in that was considered “leaving the property” and they wouldn’t be able to resell- which I get, but to not offer her another cake instead? Horrible service, get your bundts somewhere else.

I purchased 24 Bundlets on Thursday ,12-16, to give out to co workers and my children's school faculty. When I got home, I noticed one of the white chocolate cake was uneven. I wanted to take it back, but the bakery was closed by then. The next morning when I tried to pick a different one up, it opened and I noticed the seal was placed on the opposite side of the cake container. I started looking and the majority were like that! I could not give these out if they do not look presentable and especially if the safety seal is not there. We have purchased cakes as gifts for three years now, and we have not had an issue. This time around though, I could not give out cake to everyone we had in mind. I emailed the bakery but I have not received a response.

Love their flavors! Size is perfect for sharing :) Received one at this location that had a piece missing--a little disappointing. If a store wants to sell imperfect goods and charge less, that's fine. Just don't try to cover up a mistake with icing. Was also a little surprised by the choice to put cream cheese icing on chocolate. Not bad, was just expecting buttercream.

If I could have had the option to rate zero stars, I would have. I am highly disappointed in the fact that I spent $30 on a cake that had such poor presentation. We asked for specifics (such a little decorative flags and quote card with a message card) and nothing that we asked for was done. When I went to pick up and I gave the manager the name of the order they couldn’t find it and told me “to figure out what name it was under because they had tons of cakes he wasn’t about to go through.” One of the employees found the order and when I received it, the cake looked terrible. Frosting was missing on one side of the cake and looked sloppily put together. When I made a comment about it the manager said it was because it was next to other cakes and if I wanted to he would switch it out. I declined due to the fact that it seemed like such a bother. For such a recognized company I would think that customer service would be top priority. The brand of the company is exemplified in those that work for the company. What kind of image does that create when Management acts as if it is such a bother to help? I have worked as a manager before and I for one would not have asked if the customer “wanted to” exchange the item. I would have taken it upon myself to number one take pride in my work, and not let a cake that looked this terrible leave in customers hands. And secondly I would have replaced the cake without question, especially if there was some sort of mistake. If I would have wanted that type of service I would have gone to Albertsons and paid less for well put together cake.

Placed an online order for delivery about 4 days out & tried cancelling the very next day Due to delivery not being earlier than 11am Called multiple times to try and cancelled explained that will not be able to receive order since will be heading out of town. A young lady got on the line and said only can do store credit?? Minded you I was trying to cancel 4 days before the delivery date. I got told multiple times that supervisor was going to call me. Called back several times and told the same thing about supervisor calling *NEVER EVER RECEIVED CALL BACK Had to call my bank to file a dispute I WILL NEVER DUE BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN VERY Disgusted by the services * SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS *

I called every bakery on Friday from big local stores but I had to place an order two-three days in advance. Greggersons squeezed my order in last minute and they truly did an outstanding work. First time ordering with them and a 10/10 is an understatement and their kind service was just too tier. Will be ordering from them again

I have purchased two children's birthday cakes from here and they exceeded my expectations. Both were delicious, ready on time, and beautifully decorated. They included some great artwork, even with minimal direction. Will purchase from here again.

Upon receiving my order for a heart-shaped cake with vintage piping, I was disappointed to find only a simple drop line and a rosette when I picked it up. The cake was also not decorated as requested, and the lowercase “s” in “M.S. Engineer” was missing. When I informed the establishment of these errors, they informed me that their only cake decorator was unavailable. They offered to convert the lowercase “s” to an uppercase “S,” which took 45 minutes. As I was graduating that day, I could not wait any longer, as I risked missing the ceremony. I explained that I would try to find someone to pick up the cake for me since it was not ready at the pick up time 1p.m. I was advised to ensure that the cake was picked up before 3 p.m. I had also requested pink frosting on the sides, but only a small amount was applied on the top, resulting in an unintended tie-dye effect. This oversight nearly caused me to miss my graduation. The establishment’s failure to create the order as agreed upon was unacceptable. The owner offered only a $5 refund, which was insufficient for the cost, time and expense for such a significant event. As a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of my accomplishment, the establishment should have communicated with me when placing the order that they were unable to fulfill my vision.

I gave it 1 star, I new Mrs.Doris and Paul been buying there cakes for decades. My Husband is 71 Vietnam Vet. He had brain surgery 2 yrs ago. I had not gone because my husband needs 24 hrs care. I decided to order a cake. When they picked up and brought it. My husband right away pointed to the cake. So I right away got him a piece and I was feeding it to him and he made a face. I tasted it. I'm sorry but the cake was way to heavy tasting. Nothing like Mrs.Doris Or Paul's there original cake would melt in your mouth. Not going back. I have the frosting recipe. So I guess I will be baking again. Miss you Paul!!!!

A very helpful place. We ordered a beautiful birthday cake. It was ready to pick up as promised. The picture they showed me had gold leaf on it. The one received did not. I told them at the beginning that the gold leaf was a nice touch. The cake was expensive but I was after quality and looks, and I got just that. Thanks

Overall an Amazing experience food wise and customer service. Rosie the owner is a well talented baker and decorator. She made my birthday cake and it tasted amazing just how i asked. Not just the taste but the art work she does is one of a kind. Overall best in El Paso TX in my opinion. As well as her cookies, and other desserts are delicious (recommend the nutella cookie) one of my favorites! Amazing customer service by the staff as well! 11/10🤩

The absolute best breakfast/brunch experience I have had in the SW. Ok, start off beautiful, cozy and socially comfortable seating design. Perfect for those breakfast meetings, family breakfast outings or individual dining experience. The food delicious, flavorful and right sized portions. The server, Moses, absolutely top notch. If you come, request him. He was engaging, attentive and knowledgeable. He provided insight on the menu, checked in regularly and was prompt with his customer care. El Paso this establishment deserves the 5 star review.

Dude, okay, I'm not gonna lie.. This place is great. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but me and my friends got the best waiter I've ever had at a restaurant. I can't remember her name sadly but it was my friends 21 b day and she took the time to take a photo of the first time his ID was checked for a drink and had fun with it. She was insanely patient and even showed us the menu. Atmosphere? It was great. A perfect spot to chill. And it was clean too. And lastly the food. Me and my friends were stunned by the quality. I got the chicken and waffles but the waffles were savory and it worked. Drunken monkey was super filling and just perfect if you love peanut butter. And we got this pomegranate cocktail and yeah, that was great. Overall I'd happily return.

Be prepared to wait without a reservation (but understand that a reservation has to be made 24 hours in advance for at least five people with a $50 deposit). Aside from that, I was seated fairly quickly. I had a wonderful server, Soloman, and I had great food! They had me at "Espresso Flight", and there were other delicious cocktails as well. I enjoyed the East Coast bagel. Will definitely go again!

What an awesome spot for breakfast! We visited around 10:30 AM on a Sunday, and while the waitlist can be a bit unpredictable, we ended up waiting about an hour for a table (just the two of us). If you’re in a hurry, there are seats at the bar area with no wait—first come, first served! We started with the roasted strawberries and whipped feta. My wife loved it; I wasn’t a big fan of the whipped feta, but the strawberries were fantastic. I also tried the Turkish coffee—super flavorful, though my wife was hoping for something with a bit more punch. For our mains, my wife had the Aquiles Heel and I went for the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were so good, we practically inhaled them—definitely “ono” (delicious)! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This place is really a great space to hang out in. Its small and cozy, but such a great atmosphere. The outside seating is wonderful for people watching and hanging out with friends. The food is good and beautifully displayed. But the service... excellent. Our server, Moses, was phenomenal. Friendly, personable, engaging, professional, and fun.

Such a great Sunday morning spot for breakfast. Of course, I had to try the salt and honey latte, which was delicious! The atmosphere at this place was relaxing and inviting. They have a lot of beautiful plants. It was very clean. The food was ok. I had bacon, eggs, homemade turkey sausage, hash browns, and toast. The bacon, toast, and hash browns were good. The eggs were overcooked(burned) and had NO seasoning. The turkey sausage was ok. We also had the hummus avacado toast, which was very good. Our server was friendly and polite and very attentive. I ordered the Irish coffee, which tasted like water with a little flavor (I exchanged it for something else). We also had the espresso panna latte, which had no flavor, we had to add an espresso shot for flavor, and it was just ok after that. The salt and honey espresso was the best.

We had a wonderful 1st time visit at Savage Goode. The brewed coffee was lovely.. very smooth and flavorful. The show stopper was the homemade donuts. They were soft, fluffy and delicious. They tasted homemade and made with love. 🥰 I’m looking forward to going back to get another donut and try a different drink. We visited on a Friday morning, they were busy but the line went by quickly and it was worth the wait. The staff were very friendly.

Spent a couple hours here working and loved the environment, a typical coffee shop but really fantastic service + delicious food! My avocado toast was amazing and my iced vanilla latte was great!! Overall 5/5, will be returning!! Perfect setting to work, read a book, or meet friends!

We hired Savage Goods to do the catering for our 150 person wedding. The team created a custom buffet that incorporated our backgrounds of Mexican/Arab. They were nothing but professional, kind and the food was amazing! All my family, friends and even other vendors describe it as "the best food they have had at a wedding", and I believe its the best food I've had in a really long time. They also created a dessert bar since me and my husband wanted a small cake for ourselves! The cake was a baklava cake and so delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options as well! Overall we are super happy that they were apart of our day, can't thank the team enough!

The bread I bought today 11/3/24 was not fully baked it was raw in the middle also the young woman that was at the cashier dropped one of my cupcakes and got mad because I asked for a replacement. Really bad service. And it was expensive.

Neat little spot....lots of variety. Have tried a variety of items...all seemed dry and just kind of bland. The galletas were so hard! BUT.. The mini empanadas were moist and really worth the trip. Fresh bread, and lots of pastries......A carb lover's delight!

I do not recommend the tamales, they seem and taste like they have been in the refrigerator for too long.

Hadn't been here in a while. The bread is not what it used to be it is dry and seems not fresh at all. The worst part is that it is expensive. I paid almost $30 for not even a dozen of bread.

This place should be inspected by the health department immediately!!! I was there just a few days ago. The refrigerators are truly a health hazard. They have black mold in the rear where you can’t see it. Also, other products on the the shelfs seem to be contaminated. Whom ever is in charged of supervising this place is not doing his/her job period!! This place is so gross… Plus, they CHARGE YOU A PERCENTAGE of your total purchase at the end. I don’t see the value when buying groceries at this place… I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!

I regularly visit the store and have had the same bag for three years yet today I was stopped at the door because of my tote bag. The girl who stopped me couldn’t even get out a full sentence was just stammering and looking behind her scared with her hands out until I could make out the word bolsa through her muttering. I put my bag in my car even though I’ve shopped in the store with it every other time and as I walked around the store noticed every other woman had a purse or bag on them some being even bigger than mine. I understand that stores have different bag policies however if you were going to have them the very least you can do is place someone at the door who can communicate them and correctly enforce them because if my tote bag is an issue it doesn’t make sense to allow in a purse twice as big. The fact that I had to decipher that this girl was asking to hold my bag made me so uncomfortable not only am I getting accused stealing before I’ve even entered because of the type of bag I have but the person who stopped me can’t even get through a full sentence in English or Spanish to explain that the issue is my type of bag.

What a place...charge you tax and 10% of the whole ticket ...highway robbery BETTER OFF GOIN TO WALMART OR FOOD CITY...OR ALBERTSONS...I PAID 33$ for a CHEAP tamale pan +tax + 10% came out to 40$ I could have bought a good pan for the same amount ....never again will I go to food king.... wait till everyone sees how much they're losing...comes out same or cheaper at other stores...

Although i have reservations about shopping in a place that lowers everything by 10% just to re-charge it at the registers, this store is very well kept, with helpful staff and minimal lines the few times I've been here. It def offered a much better experience than wallyworld 👍

You have to be sure to look at dates on anything you purchase. There's a smell and it just seems dirty, probably because of the carpets... I use self checkout... the person watching self checkout is usually either too attentive or will completely ignore you. They have great fresh made Tortillas though, and that's a win for me! Parking lot is almost always packed too...

This is a place where you can go and buy sweat bread. To be honest I expected something better for the 45 minutes wait I had!! The oreja I bough was very bad but i will say the cuernito was very surprisingly good! Conchas meeehhh! The sweet rellenos very tasty! I will give 3 starts because is too long to wait and the orejas were so bad! So far I recommend to go but chose carefully what do you want they have or even so good or bad! I’m going to go back to try again and i maybe going to increase the stars. With a douchbrothers cafe and this bread you will have a nice morning.

Was able to order a cake last minute and get it same day. I needsd a white sheet cake with green trim no fuss just exactly that. It was perfect, absolutely delicious, and on time. Customer service was so great they really went above and beyond to take care of what was turning out to be a really stressful event. I would absolutely come back and recommend them to anyone for their lovely cakes and desserts.

Other than the sweet pastries, this place also sells a variety of natural fruit drinks like pineapple, lime cucumber, and cantaloupe. Let’s not forget their famously known coconut flavored iced tea. On this particular hot day my husband and I decided to purchase two of their $10 half gallon drinks. My lime cucumber was spot on however to my husband’s disappointment his cantaloupe drink aka agua de melon was spoiled. We informed the employee the drink we just purchased was spoiled. Our intention was not to get a refund, it was to inform them that the product they are selling is spoiled, she told my husband that she would not exchange it for any other item and that I was stuck with a spoiled drink .I will never go back and recommend no one buy these drinks No telling how long they were sitting around and no date that they were made. It’s buy at your own risk type of place.

I must have driven by this bakery a hundred times and I didn’t know it was a Mexican bakery until I walked in. I love Mexican sweets but only get tempted by them when I see them. I shop at vista and amigo market and sometimes indulge. I wanted to check it out just from my own curiosity; it just looked like common traditional Mexican pastries nothing unique but I was already there and decided to pick a few of my favorites. When I got home to taste them, they were anything but ordinary! I knew at first bite, I was in trouble and was going to over indulge in one sitting. The pastries were so fresh and delicious, the best Mexican pastries I have ever had. I also purchase sone of their cheese Chile tamales and I couldn’t help but heat one up after I tasted how good their pastries were. The tamale was just as delicious and fresh as their pastries. I am a new addict now, the cheese Chile tamales were good to my soul not so good for my body but worth every bite.

10/10 would recommend! Went later in the afternoon and there was still so many options! The bread was delicious and soft. The lady was SUPER FRIENDLY and so helpful! We will definitely be back.

The sweet bread makes you say "Mmmmm! Just how grandma made it" even if your grandma was not a baker. They also sell tamales year-round, they didn't have them ready when I stopped by but I could smell them and it was amazing.

My wife and I hired Small Cakes to do our wedding in March. We spoke with Joshua and immediately developed a deep trust with him. The cannoli cupcakes were the best. I was in sugar heaven after eating one. The balance of flavors was great. The cupcake itself was moist and not dry at all. The cream cheese frosting was perfect. They were a little pricey but worth it to me. The staff was friendly and the store was pristine.

Such a lovely spot. The owner was immensely kind and described all the desserts she'd made to help me choose one since it was my first time there. I went with a lemon dessert (sadly I forgot the name but it's made with Maria cookies) and it's REALLY delicious. We also tried the churro cheesecake (it comes with either caramel or la lechera) and it's VERY good, too. I preferred la lechera with it. I'll definitely be returning to try the other desserts. They also were selling Oreo tres leches cake, flan, and whole cakes, cookies, and much more. Definitely worth the price.

Popped in today because I've wanted a Tres Leches ever since I came to El Paso. 10/10. I even came close to closing, around 5 ish, and the cake still tastes fresh and incredible. This is a well regarded bakery for cakes. I've tried a couple here and I liked them but certainly nothing out of this world. My last chocolate cake was a bit dry but was flavorful. I will likely try some of their other cakes. I'm sure I'll find one that I love.

We ordered three different cakes and all three were very delicious, the lady was also very nice and for a very decent price. Only thing I would change was to leave door open and not have it be a doorbell as we were worried it was closed and were about to leave until they opened the door. Would definitely come back!

Well I went in on Dec 30th around 2 o'clock and there was not really a much of a variety, only about maybe 8 cupcakes left. I was told it was because of the holidays. So I ended up taking 6 home. The taste of the frosting for me was too sweet but they do have cupcakes with alcohol in them so that was different. Would I go again probably not.

We bought a dozen cupcakes on 6/17 for my daughter's b-day at daycare and they were wonderful all around.... So, I decided to buy 5 dozen for her birthday on 6/21 and they did not use different packaging but they didn't package them as well as they did in the prior purchase. Cupcake holders were very shallow (less than centimeter deep) this time around that on the short drive to the party the cupcakes collapsed and rolled all over each other and majority arrived in one big blob of frosting. Out of 60 only 11 were presentable! We made the best of it, sang happy birthday with the few we could salvage and came to realize that the ALSO had no filling or flavoring, when i specifically asked (a couple times) the employee who took my order to make them chocolate with some kind of fruit filling and flavoring and asked them pick for me..... Apparently he made no such note and forgot to mention this to the owner. He assured me they knew what flavors went great together and they would work up something special. I got plain chocolate cupcakes with super colored plain vanilla buttercream at $2.50 a cupcake..... If thats what i wanted, I could have bought the same kind at a superstore for a fraction of the price and they would have made the drive. Fluke maybe? probably not, I was contacted my a wedding party that also had the same issues. I had a lengthy conversation with the owner and she insisted her packaging was appropriate and cupcakes were fine before loading them in car and refused all responsibility of her product after it leaves her shop because my sister's mad woman (not in those words) driving of a 2 and half mile stretch had to be the culprit and the stability supplied by the cupcake holder insert had absolutely nothing to do with it. The packing might be appropriate but it's definitely NOT EFFECTIVE and she is setting up her product for failure before it leaves her shop and is completely inconsiderate of her clients with larger orders who can't stabilize all boxes on their lap. She also advised me the fate of my refund would solely rely on the employee who took down my (incorrect) order because he never made a note nor marked off request for filling and flavor... AND she wouldn't have an answer for me until her returned to work in two days. Apparently her employees run her business. Avoid yourself a headache/disappointment and don't risk the outcome of your event.

This had to be one of the worst places I have been to for cupcakes. One cupcake was burned and I could taste the food coloring in the fondant. The cupcakes taste like they're made from a box. You can make better at home. Don't waste your money.

This young lady is a professional in making specialty cakes. Her cake-making skills go beyond any cake maker I have encountered since living in El Paso for the past four years. I had a birthday to celebrate for one of my coworkers and needed a cake made at the last minute. I called everywhere, and either I was told that more time was needed, or they had never heard of a Chantilly Cake. Unlike everywhere else, Creative Cakes only asked if I had a recipe for the Cake I was requesting. It was at the last minute, and I needed it to be done in three days; although this was the case, Creative Cake rose to the challenge. I was amazed at the Cake's detail, professional appearance, and taste. Words alone do not do the cake justice in how amazing it tasted, nor the detail and care in making it. I do plan on using Creative Cakes in the future; thank you, Creative Cakes, for making this occasion happen!! I highly recommend contacting Creative Cakes for your cake-making needs.

Looked up the reviews before I visited. Was very impressed at the photos and desserts posted. I orfered the Pecan pie bar. It was the Pecan pie dessert that I've ever had. 👌 Perfection. I ordered a ceaser salad ad the dressing was delicious! I'm easy going and love a good cesar salad. I ordered the half Albatross Tuna salad sandwich and it was okay. Filling for sure but I wouldn't get it again. May delicious looking desserts! As I'm writing this I'm considering getting another Pecan bar or try the lemon bar 😋 Update: The chicken Rosa pasta is a must try. Very yummy!

Nice coffee shop , delicious coffee and Nice sweet treats however the place is very over priced. The music sounds loud so the atmosphere is not very relaxing. It’s better than most places in El Paso however and I would’ve given it a five star I had it not been for the loud music.

What I ordered and what I got. When I questioned them on whether or not this was the right sandwich, everyone was confused as to why I was confused. One of the workers gets the manager who is also confused as to why I would think this was not what I ordered. When I pointed out the photo on the menu to the manager, I was told that they don't have that bread. I responded, that would have been helpful to know when I placed the order. They did offer to remake the sandwich, but remaking the same sandwich doesn't change anything.

We liked this place so much we went there almost every night when we were in El Paso. For starters, it's hard to find good espresso, but they have it. And the coffee is self-serve, so you get free refills, that's a real value. All the staff were nice to us. The desserts are good too.

Overall the food was great. One negative; it’s really loud in the building. The music is blasting so when it gets busy, everyone talks louder than the music which causes an even louder atmosphere.

We have become so disappointed with the quality of the food. The menu has changed & some favorites are gone. This would be fine, but the new food items were prepared terribly. Roast beef sandwich had a terrible bread replacement because they were out of the recipe. It barely had meat on it compared to the picture. It was cold, instead of hot. It looked worse than subway. AND we spent over $50 for 2 people! The prices are insane now.

We were REALLY excited to try this place as we haven’t had authentic German food for a couple years. The interior was very quaint although the seating was not plentiful. We ordered a number 9 and a daily special (brat and soup). We had assumed it was a made to order restaurant so we were bummed to hear the microwave dinging on and off. The jagerschnitzel was bland and a bit chewy. The mushroom gravy tasted like it was from a jar or mix. The brat was okay. The red cabbage tasted from a jar. The potato salad was the highlight and quite good. Fresh. We tried a couple desserts. They were a good bit dried out sadly. Likely from being in the frig and not wrapped. We had tried the orange cream cake and Black Forest cake. We bought a couple items from the store area. We were pretty disappointed in with the food although it was decently priced. We wouldn’t come back sadly.

We had the most “wunderbar“ experience at Peter’s German Grill & Bakery for lunch today! A special treat while visiting from Las Cruces, NM. The Bratwurst & Currywurst plates were scrumptious and the pretzel with mustard on the side added to the special treat. The German chocolate cake was delicious! The staff were kind and accommodating. Darling decor with plenty of German groceries to choose from. We’ll be back!

Quaint little place. We came for beer and brats. The bakery buns were delicious and so soft. Brat was tasty and the spicy mustard had great level of horseradish. Great experience. It was a nice day so we sat outside. We decided to get some chocolate almond cookies on our way out. Great experience. Definitely want to come back.

Wife and I went on a date here. The lady working was very nice and welcoming. Even gave us a complimentary pretzel. Everything was made in house and brought back memories from living in Germany. Definitely recommend!

Authentic German atmosphere with a German mini-market and delicious food. The bratwurstbrötchen (#1 on menu) was the best we have had, as well as the currywurst plate (#3). The gentleman who served us and made the food was polite and friendly. Great beer selection. Husband and I both had a beer and the two meals mentioned above for only $21 - best prices we have seen since coming here. 100% recommend!

Being from Alamogordo where we don't have any German restaurants in town, despite formerly having a German Air Force Base, this was a wonderful treat after a doctor's appointment. The environment was so inviting, the man running the business was also wonderful. It just had a make yourself at home feeling and I loved it. Paired with the charming decor, wonderful German music playing , the little shop to pick from many imports , and the delicious food. I had the number 9 Jager schnitzel. The mushroom sauce was so tasty, schnitzel was so tasty, I even got to try a bratwurst that was well flavored. Potato salad was also so well balanced. And the bread don't even get me started. It was so fresh and such a good thing to even put the meal.

This has to be one of the best places to get apple fritters. That is usually what we stick to - something freshly made everyday. They are soft and fresh. Ordered other items that were not too soft and fresh.

Each year my daughter always has an interesting request for her birthday. This year she decided YESTERDAY she wanted a cake, and as usual I'm completely happy with what is done for her! Thank y'all so very much for helping add to a special day at the last minute!❤❤❤🎉🎉

If there was a zero stars button option i would hit it a million times. I decided to try this bakery because of the reviews and I was not impressed AT ALL. It was my 3 year olds birthday and I placed an order for a 3 tiered cake for my guests and a personal cake for my three year old plus 15 pieces of cookies. All I got was two one layered cake both in one box. When I asked them where's the rest of my cake they said THEY DIDN'T HAVE TIME. I even called in advance to see if it would be possible for them to get it all done and they said it was. The cookies i ordered was not what I expected. They just printed out pictures and put them on the cake. Since I had no choice but to take them because I had no other options I served them to my guests. NO ONE ATE THE CAKE OR THE COOKIES. They did a half assed job on everything. The figures they made weren't even proportionally right and the cookies tasted old and disgusting. I will never EVER go to this bakery again. I didn't even get what I paid for and it was such a waste of my money.

I have gotten my sons cakes from this bakery since he was 2 years old. They have always been beautifully done and delicious. Best bakery in Northeast El Paso hands down.

Went here because the reviews look good. Walked in, everything looked good and staff was very helpful. Got a few different kinds of cupcakes to take home and try. Got home, went to try them...Frosting was hard, cupcakes were tough and dry. Only cupcake not dry was the lemon. Extremely disappointed.

Great service, been going there for all my cake needs. I have been a customer since 1995, for my baby shower cake, that baby is 23 yrs. old! And Cox is still going strong!! Thanks for always being there for us! 💖

The cookies are DELICOUS!!! And they made my son a Noah's Ark cake it was so beautiful so far beyond my expectations will be back next week to place an order for my son's second birthday of the good dinosaur super excited to see what they come up with
