Bay City State Park is a versatile destination offering a variety of activities such as biking, fishing, and hiking. Enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lagoon. Checked out the splash pad and amazing play structures. Plenty of parking. The campground was well maintained and had many sites which were perfect for pitching my tent. I will definitely be back!

2 restrooms/showers and very well maintained.
I popped in for a single night with my hammock and realized it was super quiet after 10pm. Ten out of ten would stop by again. Also was able to record two owl types on a bird watching app I use. Very cool.
I’m visiting from NH. Our lakes are very clear & clean. This lake was far from that. However multiple people were in the water swimming and my daughter didn’t mind the mud bath. I will say that the kids playground and splash pad was on and popping. I wish there was food store & souvi er shop.
We were visiting family and they brought us here for the day. It is absolutely beautiful here. Nice and clean. There is tons of parking and places to picnic. Whether you want to play at the beach or take the kids to the splash pad, there is something for everyone.
This is one of the most beautiful Michigan State Parks we have ever been to. They have an amazing splash pad for the kids. Great place for birders. Well maintained trails long and short. A must stop for anyone in the Bay City Area..
Beach area was nice. Had volley ball pit, and a handicap ramp towards the water. Splash pad for the kiddos. Mine was a spur of the moment trip but I see coming back with family for a longer stay.
The state park was amazing! There was a walkway the whole way that went through marshes and all the way to the beach! We saw deer and birds and a tern! There was even a walkway out to the water. It was much appreciated by my husband and me.
Campground was great—clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and great for kids. The splash pad was awesome. The beach had nice sand and warm water, but the algae, muddy bottom, and very shallow water were disappointing. Loud music from boats near the beach took away from the otherwise peaceful feel of the park. Also part of the beach is private property.

Bay City Town Center, formerly known as Bay City Mall, is a popular shopping destination with a variety of well-known stores and attractions for all ages. The enclosed mall features familiar retailers such as Claries, PetSmart, Label $hopper, Ollies Bargain Outlet, Spencers, GameStop and more. Conveniently located off -75, the center also houses stores like PetSmart, Marshalls, Dunhams and Bath and Body Works.
I enjoyed my time here. This was my first time coming here. Wasn't to big or to small. It was kept clean and the security kept his presence known but wasn't out to be in anyone's way. I actually felt comfortable seeing security. I will come back. I also found a battleship and the info about it and were it is in Michigan. Thought to be interesting

I parked my 45' rig in the parking lot to visit friends at the hotel security rolled up about 10 minutes after parking to inform me we can not over night in the parking lot and had suggested a few locations for us if needed. I let him know we were just visiting for a few hours. The gentleman was very polite and interactive not rude in any way. As a nomad I appreciate that more then you think.
Genuine question- Since when does the Bay City mall allow non-service dog walking?! I've frequented this mall throughout the years from its peak of shopping to the present day. In the past few months, I've never witnessed so many dog walkers. I don't know if a new policy or marketing scheme was implemented, but regardless, I'm so very disappointed in allowing non-service dogs in as the norm. I often see dogs in the Marshalls' shopping carts or in the aisles. It's become quite a deterrent for me, especially as I've witnessed some very aggressive non-service dogs being walked here.
Sadly, this mall is a shadow of its former days. Would give a slightly better rating if non-service dogs were not permitted. Legit service dogs? Absolutely allowed. Your family pet? A hard no.
Well, idea enjoy going to Claire's. I haven't been there in a long time. Find the clearance sales I was able to find my granddaughter. Some jury and I did get the goal to bath body works. But those are the 2 stores I enjoy going to I would have liked to enjoy a movie there. I didn't get to really go finish seeing all of it, but I do plan to go back and try to see it again

Welcome to Hampton Mall 2019. Back in the day(like 10 years ago) this place used to be the spot. The wide open food court. The stores filled with customers. Some good things just don't last. Maybe if the rent wasn't so damn high they wouldnt have closed down nearly every store.
The only reason to ever come here is to watch a movie go, to planet fitness, have an auntie Anne's pretzel or shop at GameStop.
This place is a hallowed out corpse of a once great thing.
So much empty...but very clean. It's sad how indoor malls have fallen over the years. This place looked like it was a good one in its day.
Very nice ppl here. Got to see santa and couldn't afford to pay for pictures so they let us take some with our phone. Wish this mall had more stores but other then that, was a nice place to come to.

The U.S.S. Edson - Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum, located near downtown Bay City, is home to the USS Edson, a 1950s destroyer with self-guided tours and exhibits featuring vintage artifacts. This warship served for 30 years in various conflicts across Asia and spent off-duty time near South Vietnam during operational tours there. The ship played a role in historical events such as the Paris Conference Agreement signing in 1973.
This was the Best Experience! I would highly recommend letting a guide take you through the ship, the knowledge, experience and stories shared make this an Unforgettable journey. Bill was our guide about a quarter of the way through that joined us and He was absolutely amazing! So much to learn and see. They even Host weddings, birthdays, school and troop trips! Go, you'll be glad you did!

Happily stumbled upon this great ship purely by chance. My 12 year old nephew was interested (first spark of life on the trip that day). We drove closer to take a look and discovered it was a museum and open. It was quite fascinating going aboard and seeing the entire ship. Very few closed or blocked doors. Worth the time and money for sure.
Impressive, love it. So much to explorer. And so much to learn about this ship. I love Navy ships. There a story to tell on each and every one of them in Michigan.
So glad I stop on in. Staff was friendly , kind and helpful. Answered questions. And the gentleman in the gift shop had a story to tell about this ship.
He was interesting to chat with. As we were leaving another gentleman chatted with us again and explained a few more details. I was intrigued with the fire pit outside the gift shop. He explained who donated it. And gave a story as well.
I would come back again when I am going that way again.
The first half of my visit was self-guided, and at my own pace. The areas off-limits were clearly marked and all guests receive a guide book containing rules upon entry in Admission Office/ Gift Shop. Halfway through my visit, I met Eric, a retired US Navyman, who not only offered to show me the Authorized Only parts of the ship, but also offered me some of his beautiful hand-made crafts as souvenirs. He taught me more than paper or books ever could, and I am SO thankful he was there to enjoy the weather as I was so we could explore the ship together. He crafts the rope work for the ship, and creates keychains for guests in his spare time. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing the ship and meeting the staff, but Eric is there most weekends if you're interested in an entirely unique experience! Please go when you have the time to truly appreciate the USS Edson!
The Edson is truly a gem. We took our Scout Troop there for an overnight experience. The volunteers were ALL amazing. The passion they have for history and this ship really showed at every turn.
Specifically, Erik, who was our groups guide for the evening/night was absolutely amazing. He showed us parts of the ship and little details that we would easily have overlooked. I could tell that he really enjoyed giving tours and answering questions from both scouts and adults that were interested in learning more. Bruce (who actually SERVED on the Edson) also had some great insights and stories.
If you are in Bay City, this is absolutely worth stopping for.
Very cool how close you can drive up to the ship and even stop get out and snap a picture of your vehicle, or even selfie or family photos with it. Great view of the water and definitely worth it at sunset!
This ship from the shore alone is magnificent. It looks big, but inside it is huge. Our tour guide Wayne, was fantastic. His knowledge of the ship and enthusiasm for the tour make it an unforgettable experience. It is worth far more that $15 a person. I cannot say enough good things about all of it.
Even though we didn't see him, a big thank you to Paul as well.
Full disclosure, we arrived after they had closed for the day. That being sad the environment and scenery make for awesome photo back drops. Plenty of parking for even larger vehicles. If you are in the Baycity area and have some time to kill, check out the tour.

We had excellent service. The food was delicious. Some things could be tweaked, but overall very satisfying. Biscuits come out fresh and warm with every meal. The seasonal drink special was tasty and fun. Thrilled they brought back previous menu items too. The interior could use some updates, seating, tables, lighting, etc.

Ally, our server, was amazing. She did so much for us. She really helped with our experience here! I would highly recommend! And definitely try the Under the Purple Sea cocktail!
My wife and I went out to dinner for our anniversary. Rob was our server and he did a phenomenal job. We didn’t have to wait for anything- he was on top of it all. Food was excellent. Rob suggested the Side Hustle drink and it did not disappoint. My wife got the Apple Harvest and loved it so much she ended up getting a second. Huge thank you to him for making our anniversary dinner so great. Highly recommend and we will be back and asking for Rob!

It has been several years since I had eaten at a Red Lobster. We stopped in for dinner. We had the lobster dip for an appetizer and I ordered the Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp with Chesapeake Fries and a Ceasar Salad. The quality is so much better than I remember.
The coconut shrimp has always been the best there and it's better than ever - crisp and coconutty on the outside while being tender on the inside. The piña colada sauce is the perfect pairing for them. Their fries are remarkably better - crisp and well seasoned.
There was more than I could eat. The server brought me extra piña colada sauce to go when I asked for a box. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed my food so much. It will be a place I think of much more frequently when my husband asks what I want to eat.
Brian has been our server multiple times and is absolutely phenomenal. It has been a while since we’ve been in and he even remembered our drink order from previous times. He is always very prompt and friendly. Love having him as our server! It’s rare to get such great service anymore. Will continue to come back because of him.
Food was great and the service was even greater. Our server Patricia did an excellent job and went out out of her way to make our dinner a great experience.

Went here two days in a row. Super friendly staff. 1st day I had a coney. Authentic Flint style ( they do offer it with a pickle, but to me thats not Flint style) with a real Koegel hot dog. Coney sauce was spot on! 2nd day tried the pizza. Very good! Will be back to try the rest of the menu eventually.
My husband, brother-in-law and I came here after looking for the best coney dog, and this place was most definitely it. Sweet, awesome and perfect lil place with amazing prices as well. Hit the spot perfectly and would love to stop by again on our next visit to the area! :)
Incredible pizza ….I haven’t had pizza like this in along time. I asked for garlic crust and they accommodated me. We asked for delivery at 5 pm and they accommodated us.
We ordered subs the night before….even the bun was homemade….exceptional service and quality of food.
Was very satisfied with the sandwich the fries were another subject. They are burnt so bad that there was no potatoes taste at all they’re crunchy. I would’ve brought them back, but I’m not gonna drive over there to do that so I probably will never order fries from you again.

This place was recommended by a lovely older couple. And they did not disappoint! Delicious coney sauce served on a koegel hotdog. I liked that you could order a "six or 10 pack" of coneys. A+ The pizza looked good but we didn't try it after pigging out on coneys.

Arrived in Bay City on a Michigan motorcycle trip and got a recommendation to try Blossoms for something the local folk like. It was great. Friendly staff greeted us (the hostess with the red hair was especially nice and engaging). Zach took great care of us and his personal recommendations were. I had the Malaysian Curry Laksa (chicken) and my daughter had the Malaysian Fried Noodles (beef). Both had great flavor and spice to warm us up after a cool bike ride. Plus we shared the special sushi roll of the night, the Wonka roll special (which happened to be Zach's creation). Definitely recommend Blossoms!

Went three years ago and it was great. Went last year and is was okay. I thought...okay, I'll give it another chance. Went this year and walked in at dinner time with only one table occupied. This should have been my first clue. I couldn't even finish my food because it was so bad. Chicken was over fried, dry, with barley any sweet and sour sauce. Crab cheese tasted old and cream cheese inside was hard and crumbling. Fried rice tasted like it was fried in a dirty pan. :-p Sorry Blossoms, I will not be returning. This was a takeout order and the cashier was a nice young man. Just thought I would add that :-)
One of my favorite places! Food is awesome! Hot-n-sour soup is actually pretty good, wouldn't have ordered it, but waiter suggested, I've always gotten almond chicken , it's so good I come craving it, so never tried anything else! Not you're normal almond chicken. House salad with house dressing is different, very tasty as well. Services is amazing, decor is very stylish! A must stop!
We had a quick and delicious lunch. The house dressing was very good. The spring rolls and sauce were excellent. I had the hibachi shrimp and chicken plate and it was excellent. My son enjoyed his California roll. My wife enjoyed the two rolls from her lunch plate.
We really enjoyed the food! The owner guided me though menu like a wizard looking though a spellbook. The only issue I have, is cleanliness. The restaurant could use a good sweeping and mopping. Chairs are torn and need to be repaired and window/doors need to be washed. The good news is, the food is good and worth the stop.
One last suggestion, make sure the spring roll vegetables are not cut to small as they become mush when deep fried.
First time here. Great service, very fast, polite and attentive. I order crab Rangoon and Sesame chicken and the lunch came with egg drop soup. The crab was amazing, as was the soup. Sesame chicken tasted like sweet and sour with the Sesame seeds....it was good but not the flavor I expected. Overall will go back again.
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Gyoza and the hibachi selections! The service was terrific. She was very attentive and accommodating. All of the staff were polite and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant and beautifully put together. Bathrooms were very clean and well-kept as well!
We REALLY wanted to like this place! But even after a SECOND try, the service was still so slow and not anything to write home about! The bland sauces couldnt save the dried out meat on the entrees! We did, however, enjoy the sushi that we ordered both visits, and the Egg Drop soup. Cute set up with awesome decor but just wish the food and service was better.

For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Krzysiak's House Restaurant, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Real Seafood Company Bay City. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

The food was excellent. Meatballs were very tender, Fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Chicken was juicy and tender.
Coconut cream pie and cherry pie were delicious. Wished I could have had room for more!
Great wait staff, amazing food kinda chilly in there but, they had some good hot noodle soup wasn't much chicken. Their pierogies were very delicious, mashed potatoes, liver and onions. Of course I'm polish so it was the best for a buffet.
The polish buffet was great. I didn't like the krut And sausage or whatever it was. but everything else was good. The Fish and the bell pepper meat loaf were my favorites 😋 my server was great as well. Update, i ended up getting food poisoning That same day. I still believe it was that krut and sausage stuff but it could have been something else there. I had to bring my score down but i didn't too much. The more i think about it make me want to give 3 stars, but i believe in second chances
I’m from Virginia and stopping by to visit relatives and decided to drop by for some eats little did I know not only the atmosphere but the food would be amazing we usually go to Frankenmuth for the Bavarian Food and Atmosphere after this visit that will no longer be the case this is 💯 times better than what you will Find in Frankenmuth and worth the drive the fish especially is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it
I went there with a party of four and we did not bother ordering anything off the menu. The reason is simple. The buffet is fantastic! This place has been in the area for a while.
It is some really good food.
And if it you are Polish.. You're in for a treat. They serve pigs in the blanket.. they were pretty good,
This restaurant is a great place to grab authentic and homemade polish food. I went for lunch with a friend, and had the buffet, the sauerkraut and sausage was delicious highly recommend! The chicken, and fish was also homemade breaded, and was very good. I will definitely be going here again, I highly recommend this place!
Highly recommend their "Point Root Beer". The food is also amazing. The BLT my Mom ordered was huge and the fries were crispy and seasoned well.
They have a gift shop where you can buy "Point Root Beer" and various other treats.
The Sunday Polish buffet was delicious and tasted very authentic. Will come here again when I'm in Bay City.
Areas of improvement for the restaurant:
- Labels for the buffet items. The salad bar had labels, but the hot food didn't.
- Walls and ceilings need cleaning. There was a particularly gross looking light switch next to our table.
- Service needs improvement. The waitress forgot about our table, so my mom had to wait 20 minutes to order her food (me and my dad had the buffet). The waitress didn't bring us a menu until after we got our drinks which unnecessarily increased the wait time for my Mom to order.
- The buffet items are messy, but we only had one napkin per person for the entire visit.
The extra wait soured the experience for my Mom, but she enjoyed her giant BLT and fries.
I still rate the restaurant 5 stars because the above issues can be easily fixed with extra training and procedures. I hope the owner sees this and makes some logistical adjustments to help improve the customer experience.
My suggestions:
- Extra napkin alongside silverware when the customer sits down. Could also consider a napkin dispenser at the table.
- Monthly wall and ceiling cleaning. Possibly replace dirty and worn down light switches.
- Laminated printed cards with food names and ingredients. Allows for easy swapping for the different styles of buffets. You can have blank laminated cards that you can use dry-erase markers on to write on for special one-off buffet items.
- Menu holder at each table or train staff to always bring a menu with the placemats/silverware.

I have been going to the river walk since I was a young boy. You can walk, run, bike, and there are several connecting paths from the bridge all the way to boat ramps. This is a nice place in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. During 4th of July, the fireworks are the best in Michigan!

The riverwalk was a wonderful paved area along the river, we walked nearly 4 miles on it. Nice views, safe, and LOTS of ducks and geese.

This is a nice place to visit. However, if you have little kids, be cautious. The railings there have spindles that are spaced wide enough for young kids to fit through. Parents need to make sure they are keeping an eye on their kids. There used to be some benches out at the end for people to sit on, but those are no longer there.

Cool place to go if you are traveling to Bay City. Staff friendly food was delicious. Prices are fair. The atmosphere was really cool. You must see the bank volt in the back. This place is a must.

Unique place in Bay City, complete with a bank vault. We dined in the vault, which was a blessing because it served as a containment system for the two rug rats we had. Otherwise they would have been harder to corral in the main dining area. This was our second time here. Six months ago I thought it had the best burger in the tri cities. Now, not so much. I got the same burger, but it was barely warm when I got it. Although we ordered soup, they ran out, so most of our party didn’t get any. The one bowl we got was cold for some reason.
So overall impression is that the food is not as good as it was six months ago, the vault is cool, and I hope they can bring this back to what it was.
The food was very good. The biskets and gravy were awesome. It was more soup-like and awesome.
The flank steak was a little tough but good.
The chicken tenders were also amazing.
If we didn't live an hour away, we would come here more often.
This place is adorable. Looks like an awesome spot for a little party or celebration. The service was great. Hailey was warm and welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food was good, perhaps a bit over-priced. Big portions though. Hubby got a venison burger and said it was good, maybe could’ve used more aioli. He loved the fries. I couldn’t finish my chicken sandwich it was so big. The Old Fashioned was strong and yummy. We especially enjoyed the soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese. Appetizer - Ordered whitefish dip and bacon wrapped goat cheese dates - both were good but served lukewarm. Seasonal apple cider mule had minimal apple cider flavor and no cinnamon as described on the menu.
Entrees - we had the Nashville fried chicken, which was good overall. A little more sauce would make this better. The sides were disappointing. It was served with mashed potatoes & carrots. Mashed potatoes were watery (no joke) and unseasoned and the carrots were cold and under cooked. Sadly I have had better instant mashed potatoes.
The 2nd entree was Maple glazed salmon which was overcooked and very small portion. The salmon was served with the same sides as mentioned earlier & cooked the same way. So disappointing.
We had high hopes for this place but it just didn’t deliver the quality meal we were expecting. We went on a Wednesday evening & wasn’t very busy (think there was only one server). Service was good and we didn’t have the long wait that others have mentioned. It would be tough to convince us to return. It’s a great space inside with some unique features but that doesn’t equate to great food.

This place in downtown is a must go me and my buddy are here on a work trip for a class and we were told by some locals to try it. All the ingredients are locally sourced and it shows in the flavor. We had the white fish dip, the salmon plate, and the venison burger all cooked to perfection. The fish dip with bread slices was so good I almost ordered another. The salmon tasted fresh as well as the veggies we got on the side. The venison burger I added a easy over egg and bacon on and it's hard to say "the best burger ever" but it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The service was impeccable and would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
Awesome local restaurant located in downtown Bay City! The restaurant is beautiful with a large open concept. The windows and decor make it very welcoming. I enjoyed hot coffee in a glass mug - the waitress did a great job of keeping my cup full the whole time. The menu was extensive and highlighted local farm to table options. We enjoyed the sourdough breakfast sandwich, which was made unique with chive cream cheese on it! Overall, it was a great meal at a reasonable price. I'm excited to come back and try more menu items!

My husband I come here for our anniversary every year and this was the BEST service we have had! (Never had bad service but our server, Chris, went above and beyond and she was very kind and attentive!) The food was amazing, as always. Highly recommend and will be returning again for our annual celebration! 🥳
Let me just start by saying the food here is excellent and I would reorder any of the dishes we had. That said, the reason I would return again without hesitation is because the unparalleled service we received during our visit. Without going into too many details let’s just say we were traveling with very demanding, stubborn elderly folks. Our waitress did nothing but smile and accommodate them through it all and apologized for things that were out of her control. I don’t know how she maintained her composure and patience but she deserved a big raise or an Employee of the Week recognition of some sort!
Great place for Happy Hour! Beautiful view sitting at the outdoors bar. The smoked whitefish dip was excellent and a great portion size as a "shareable." The walleye bites were great tasting but tiny. It was three bite size pieces. I felt it was too for the cost. The cocktails were good as well. The restrooms were very clean. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Overall great experience!

Nice restaurant, service was pretty good, food was a one star. Hubby's fish was like a frozen fried fish patty. My scallops were served in a pond of thick sickening sweet syrup, you couldn't even taste the scallops. The baby broccoli served with it was nothing but thick stems. The pureed sweet potatoes listed on the menu were tiny tiny diced pieces, about 10 of them, we would not go back.
Ate here as part of a sales marketing campaign. I was surprised that the service and quality of food was top notch. Not expecting such great food in these venues. Will definitely consider coming back here on our own to try other options on their menu.

Feels like you are part of an interesting time. Food was delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere - if you enjoyed The Great Gatsby, then it is a must visit! Sweet potatoe fries were amazing. They make them on site as well as the potatoe chips. The Works burger was delicious.
A server at another place told us the Bruschetta was her favorite. What we got was bad Focaccia at best. My Old Fashioned cocktail was watery and the orange “twist” was a slice of orange. We had planned on eating dinner here, but the preamble was so disappointing we decided to go elsewhere. Server was attentive, but failed to notice our unfinished drinks and mostly untouched appetizer.

A small quaint little restraunt in downtown Bay City. The sirloin steak was what you'd expect for $20. Ok, but not great. It was cooked as ordered. The key largo chicken dish was very good.

My girlfriend and I stopped here about 3 times. Once for dinner. The food was great, the atmosphere was very cool. We're definitely bringing family and friends back here to check it out. The cool part is that the food is much better than Applebee's by a long shot, but it is way more affordable than Applebee's by far but is much better. Can't say enough about how cool the place is.
Gatsby's is a Bay City gem. The restaurant offers vegan fare in a region where that's hard to come by. The vegan fish sandwich and vegan gyro are some of my favorites on the vegan menu, but you really can't go wrong with the other vegan options.
Portions are excellent, and prices are absolutely fair.
It's cozy but a little on the “needs a quick wipe down” side. The service is friendly and fast.

Wow, what a fantastic place! The complimentary bread- which I think was pizza dough- was perfect! Soft, warm, buttery, garlicky...served with dipping oil. As soon as it was gone, our server appeared with another. I had chicken lasagna and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Hubby's pizza was great, too, lol. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here often. There was an artist tuning up and starting to play/sing as we were leaving but I'm glad we missed that. It is loud without live music and we wouldn't have been able to talk at all. Still...5 stars!

We were having issues with trying to secure a caterer for a funeral luncheon and Vinny's came through with only 24 hours notice and did a tremendous job at that! Two days later, we had our prescheduled wedding shower at the pizzeria and again, a tremendous job! The food for both was amazing, having gotten well received compliments from everyone. The staff were amazing, having gone above and beyond, voicing the fact that they were aware we'd "had a difficult week". I appreciate the fact that Vince was easy to work with, excellent with his communication and level of professionalism. The menu selections for both events were awesome and the pricing was as expected. I would highly recommend!
Stopped here while passing thru town. We were talking to a local guy, Mark, we met at the park. He just happened play music at Vinny's and he highly recommended. Glad we tried it! Everything was great from start to finish. Host super friendly, comfortable seating, wonderful, friendly, attentive waitress. House made bread and dipping oil was so good. I got the creamy chicken pesto dinner w/ roasted veges. It was a huge portion, chicken was tender, and great flavor. My husband got a pizza which he said was delicious. To top if off, the prices were really reasonable considering today's cost of eating out. We were really pleased w/ the staff, the atmosphere, the great food and awesome value. Will def. stop here next time we are in Bay City. Great job Vinny!
We are new to the area and saw the restaurant when we attended a craft show. The menu online looked great so we decided to try it. It did not disappoint. The setting is beautiful, service was friendly and accommodating. We will add it to our favorites. Prices are normal and flavors are great.

I have resided in this locality for a considerable period, and with conviction, I can assert that Governor's Quarters is one of my preferred establishments to socialize with companions or indulge in a delectable meal. Their assortment of beer on tap is genuinely unparalleled in the Mid Michigan region, and I admire how they consistently provide options that cater to diverse palates. The cuisine has consistently been exceptional, leaving me yearning for their dishes from time to time.
I have never ate here but the food look amazing and my friends like it. I come for the entertainment. I like that they have local artists. I think they do other themes days but over all it is a fun spot to hang out and grab a beer. They have a lot of beer options.

Had my first visit here and had a wonderful time! The food truly is "one-of-a-kind" & I love how the names of items/menu all have a "political flavor". The service was very good esp as it was a large private group being served. The atmosphere is nice but a bit hard to hear & carry on conversations as the room is big, bare floor etc...One minor issues for me was the chairs are all on rollers and I did struggle a bit getting in/out of them as I use a cane for a physical disability. But overall I really loved the experience!
I generally don't like the atmosphere here. Downstairs in a basement, no windows and can be very loud at times. However, I've never had a bad meal. Had the nachos last night and they were the best nachos I've ever had. Came on a platter spread out so every chip had cheese and veggies; unlike so many places that pile it high. Finally somebody got it right.

The tap menu is off the charts and is always rotating. Therefore the flights are a must. Food is always solid as well. It’s a bit dark for my liking and any entertainment really kills the vibe due to the noise, but overall it is definitely a place to visit and revisit.

A local landmark! Weird setup in the basement of a former town hall (?) with a vibrant ( loud crowd) vibe gives me that community feeling every time! The service is terrible. We had to go up and get our own napkins and silverware. We had to ask for hot sauce for a Bloody Mary that we were not told we could build our own way and the waitress didn’t think they had red hot even when it plainly states it in the menu. They had it.. the deep fried pickles were good but not for $9!!! The burgers were very small for $14 mostly bun. So in total, terrible service, not very helpful, the food was ok but not worth the price at all. We will not be returning to this place. We first visited Bay City Bill’s for the E-HPS Band fundraiser. Even though we live just about a half mile away, we had never been there before.
The service was great and the food was even better. They had a wings and fries deal that night, and both were absolutely delicious. We usually go to Buffalo Wild Wings every Thursday for BOGO, but after trying Bay City Bill’s, this will be our new Thursday tradition instead. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Hidden Gem of Bay City. Unbelievable service (Allison super friendly and efficient). and food at a great price. Met cook in the back and gave him an atta boy! Thank you! My wife’s brisquet sandwich was not drenched in bbq sauce (which had a memorable tang). The table next to us ordered Nachos and they looked amazing. Steak dinner, brisquet meal, and grilled cheese meal for $37. Great value! Great music/great people. 7 televisions each playing something different. Excellent music. Skip the pricy downtown restaurants and visit Bay City Bill’s; you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back! Keep up the good work.

Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City, MI is a sprawling 97-acre riverside park offering a variety of attractions and activities. The park features sports fields, walkways, the Liberty Harbor Marina, the Kantzler Arboretum, and the historic Trombley House. Throughout the year, it hosts community events such as fireworks on the 4th of July, River Roar, and Pig Gig.
Really nice park. Beautiful park with flowers and walking. They have created like a little zen area. It's a little path through the trees with little calming words and a couple of benches
I didn't take too many photos with phone camera.
I will go again. Bring peanuts for friendly squirrels :)

Nice play area near the Saginaw river and apart of the parks downtown. Parks have paved paths for walking and bike riding. Geese and ducks are always present so watch where your walking and probably best to stay off of grass due to excessive droppings. It does have some nice spot for fishing from shore.
I have two small children, both neurodivergent. The park is well constructed and includes safe, fun equipment for all ages and stages of development. The families in the area are kind, and the kids play with one another no matter the differences. I've loved our times here so much, and so have my kids!

I love the 3-5yr old playground. The double swing is my toddler's favorite! But it gets very crowded, and my child is autistic, making it a less often choice.
We love this Park we come home every year from Florida to watch the Fireworks… Bay City by far puts on the best show… Very clean park lots of security we enjoy coming home just for the firework show very fun and exciting times!
This is my kids favorite park in Bay City. The park is big and there are many things to keep the kiddos entertained. It’s always clean and I love that it’s very close to the ice cream place with put put golf.

A little candy shop that easily finds a spot on your list of happy places. They have a nice combination of vintage, specialty, and candy counter candies. Just point to what you want and the friendly staff will make dreams come true. The salted in-shell peanuts with cajun seasoning are a real treat.
I love this place I go to it every week to get my favorite coconut Neapolitan candy bar! I totally recommend. Prices are amazing and their treats and candy are even better!
Passing through but saw this place on Under the Radar Michigan and wanted to stop. Beautiful location. Great selection of chocolates and candies. Unfortunately, they don't make much of the confections any longer in house. But the chocolates they do make there, like the chocolate covered cherries, are delicious. The other items are yummy as well they just order them elsewhere. The first person that waited on me was not having a great day and I was put off by the huffing around but got a chance to go back in to get some toffee after my friend was stating how delicious it was and that person was all smiles and very friendly. So all and all worth the stop. It's too bad the area over here is like a ghost town because it's a very nice setting. Possibly because it was a Tuesday around 5pm. Many shops and restaurants were closed. So make sure to check that info before coming down.

If you ever have a chance to come to Bay City visit St.Laurent Brothers in downtown Bay City. A candy shop you will have a hard time leaving. My favorite is the home made peanut butter. St Laurent Brothers is very popular amongst us locals.

Bay City Antiques Center is a massive historic building in Michigan, housing over 400 booths filled with vintage treasures. Visitors can explore three stories of assorted goods from the past, including knick-knacks, toys, figurines, books, furniture, clothing, jewelry and more. While it may be overwhelming due to its size, the friendly staff are always on hand to help. Some visitors recommend setting aside plenty of time to fully explore this treasure trove of antiques and collectibles.
This store is both enormous and fantastic. Highly recommended.
Be sure to explore the basement areas- (there are more than one). Staff is friendly.

We loved this place. 💙 So many beautiful antiques. The only issue we had was they only have 1 restroom for this whole block long antique store and it was out of order.
We had to leave and walk quite a distance to locate a restroom we could use. I don't know how the workers there can go ALL day without using the restroom.
Anyway, don't go with a full bladder but DEFINITELY Go there for the experience. This place is huge with an upstairs and basements. So many wonderful things to choose from

HUGE!! they everything you could want to search for. Dolls, records, knic knacks, books, clothes, they got it all. It's a huge area so plan to stay awhile! Family friendly. Parking is OK. Mostly parallel parking on front and side.

First of all its HUGE!!!!! Blocks of stuff I had a great time looking at all the stuff. If you're going here you might need 2 days lol Some prices are above what they are worth but talk with the sellers some are willing to go down. I'll be back for sure!!! It's really my 5th time lol I had a great time as always and it's right next to the water and downtown. So if you get hungry it's just a few steps away. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
Wow! This place is amazing. This center is huge. Three stories of assorted goods from yesteryear. You can get lost in this antique center. Lots and lots of booths. You can find knick knacks, toys, figurines, books, albums, furniture clothes, magazines, jewelry, and the list goes on. Plan on spending lots of time making your way through. Worth a visit.

So much stuff, almost a museum than a store but its a lot of fun to walk through. Most of the items i sought after were priced a bit high but i did buy something
This is a massive antique store with a truly impressive size, but the selection was mostly knick-knacks and nothing particularly unique stood out. It's a bit cluttered and 'mazy,' which is typical for these types of shops. The staff we saw were friendly, but many of the prices seemed high compared to other places we've visited. It's an okay stop if you're in the area and have some time to browse, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell is a charming 6.1-acre park in Bay City, Michigan, featuring a riverside promenade and an amphitheater that hosts warm-weather concerts and festivals. Absolutely awesome place for bands to play. We got to see Riot V perform there recently; we had plenty of room to sit, and the band sounded amazing. It has great acoustics for a smaller outdoor venue. The river is gorgeous, there are beautiful murals, a neat statue by a big fountain, and a small playground. They also had an ample amount of restrooms, which was super convenient. The only downside I could think of is that there wasn't as much parking as the show I went to needed. We got there early and had no problem, but my friends who got there later in the night had to walk pretty far.
Seagulls were very approachable and willing to take food. Only ever flew off when a passerby passed, but they would always return. The optimal location for seagull feeding is the benches by the Princess Wenonah boat. Would recommend highly.
We had the opportunity to visit the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell in APR_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience.
We made a plant tour and fore sure it's beautiful place, specially to visit in a a hot summer day.
The land around the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell is also remarkable, even a simple ride across the roads could be an unforgettable experience.
Definitely, it's a place where we want back.

Beautiful place in downtown Bay City, right near the river. There are many events going on, especially in the Summer time. You are right next to downtown, where you can walk, eat, and have some fun. I highly recommend Bay City if you are traveling through Michigan.
Nice venue on the River, seen the band five for fighting there and it was a really cool evening. Took a couple pics with the drummer Mr. Randy Cooke, super great guy! I'd enjoy seeing another show here, parking was good and the atmosphere was very nice👍🏼
Bay City is a gem within the Great Lakes Bay Region and the live music at the World Friendship Shell in Wenonah Park never disappoints. I am looking forward to another summer spent enjoying the city.

This deli has garnered positive recommendations for its excellent sandwiches, which are prepared quickly and made to order. The prices at Intermission Deli are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. In addition to serving delicious food, the deli also features live music performances and sells various art pieces and knick-knacks.
If you’re going to come to Bay City and you want a sandwich this is the only place to go. It is very authentic and it’s old world. They were actually playing live music while we were here like definitely recommend you check it out. I recommend you try the cheesy potato soup and they have a very nice chip selection. Thank you

Had a #1 with everything... I've had better subs from a gas station.
The bread sucked. Nearly no structure. Far too soft.
The meat and cheese was... Fine I guess. Nothing remarkable.
Got it with "everything", which you'd think means lettuce, onion, maybe tomato, oil and vinegar. But pickles and what tasted like bottled Italian dressing?
Maybe something else on the menu is good but I don't have high hopes.
At least staff was nice and the atmosphere is cool.
I asked for an employee's favorite sandwich and they told me it wasn't on the menu but they really enjoyed a pepperoni and Genoa with mustard and I have to say I really enjoy it too! I have lettuce and tomato on mine.

Best subs in the Great Lakes Bay region. Great prices for quality subs. Quick and friendly service, by the time I was finished paying the sub was being wrapped up and handed to me.
I don't understand the good reviews. Second time here and I eyballed some other people's food this time too. The bread is good but the meat is well....not. Subs were a perfect 10 years ago when I was here. 3 out of ten now.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. Great subs, however the one in Saginaw may be a touch better, but the soup in Bay City is way better!
Huge deli subs loaded up with fresh meat, cheese, and toppings. The menu boasts a variety of different options for sub combinations. I tried the lunch combo with the #3 sub, local Michigan chips, and cheesy potato soup. Will definitely be back to try other subs.

We just moved to town and this is one of our favorite spots! We have been in to eat and drink several times. I love the popcorn and the bowls. Food is really good. Chris has been our bartender and he makes it an extremely enjoyable experience. We have playful banter and he lets us sample whatever new is on tap. Lots of choices that we truly appreciate. And he will never forget my name! Thanks, Chris, look forward to seeing you again soon.

We stopped in for a quick bite during happy hour. They had a special on flatbread. Unfortunately they refused to honor it even though all their table signs said 5 pm. As you can see from the pictures it was a little after 4 pm. Talk about false advertising. I’ll be avoiding them in the future.

We went to Bay city for some work and I found this place because they had Gluten Free options for my husband. Their GF flat bread was good, good fries and the burger was ok, not like I wanted it but it was tasty. They do have options for vegetarians.
I would come back to try more things.
Wow, this was pretty awesome tonight. Came in on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 off flights, the choices of beer were outstanding allowing me to sample several new brews. Despite recommendations for burgers and flatbreads, the Hibachi Bowl caught my eye. It came out quickly and was absolutely fantastic, one of the best dishes I’ve had traveling around lately. On top of that, place was clean and the people friendly. I don’t get up to Bay City often, but I will be back here for sure!

The hostess and waitress were lovely. We had a few birthdays in our group and they also accommodated that. The food was also quite tasty.

We ordered quite a few things. The pizza was my favorite! It had a very addictive spicey marinara and was delicious! 10/10 on the pizza scale!
Service was great but our chicken nachos were cold and nothing special.
They did take them off our bill.
Fried green beans were the best of everything ordered. Tried my wife’s smash burger which was good but not $14 good.

The outside seating was spacious, the waitstaff was excellent (congenial, engaging and remained professional), the overall beverage selection was very impressive, especially the beer selection! Everyone in our party of 7 said their food was delicious. The view of the water and the sunset during dinner topped the night off. Kudos Tavern 101, thank you for a great evening.

H2O's Waterside Grill is a waterfront bar and restaurant with a wonderful view. The owner, Mark, has transformed the space into a great dining spot. They offer happy hour from 2-5pm with half off appetizers and drinks. The menu includes bone-in wings, lobster cakes, pretzel sticks, southwest chicken eggrolls, buffalo shrimp, and more. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing. Customers praise the excellent service and great atmosphere at this five-star establishment.
My husband and I tried this today for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was fun and busy. The only thing I noticed was flow of traffic from the patio, leaving the servers waiting for people to move. Im sure this isn't always a problem, but maybe eliminating a big top table from that area could help. We had an amazing time 10/10. Wish we would have been asked if we were celebrating anything any maybe offered a small dessert but still would recommend. Great job!

Cozy waterside grill that serves up various seafood, sandwiches, and appetizers. At first glance, I thought prices were a bit high. However, when taking the fresh ingredients into account, I completely understand why. We had the crispy rice cakes with grilled shrimp, the fish and chips, and a chicken sandwich with brussel sprouts for my side. The grilled shrimp was amazing (not a fan of the rice cake -too heavy). Everything was very fresh and high quality. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been in Bay City, MI. The place in gorgeous, food was GREAT. Service was excellent and the whole atmosphere very enjoyable. The only thing that I had a problem with I know YOU control the weather, but it was a 100° that day and no breeze even though you’re right by the river nowhere to walk down to a safety beach because all Rocky, and would’ve been nice to have some coverage to stay out of the sun and then a place to listen to the live band that you had coming if you had like tables or even just blankets for people to have like a picnic on the grass with a live bands were going with tarp above you just an idea, but we will come back. Food looks so good we forgot to take pictures you can’t help but to say a quick prayer and baby listen it was on point… They did NOT disappoint!!! The atmosphere was beautiful, everyone in there was working together the BEST TEAMWORK I’ve seen in a long time. No matter what position they ALL just seem to work well together. Our waitress was the BEST very nice, friendly, patient, attentive with taking our order and very professional. She kept a pleasant smile every time she came to the table and our orders came out fast, hot and Tasty 😋 dang we forgot to take pictures that just goes to show you wasn’t no waiting around but most definitely had a reason to just enjoy eat, fellowship and enjoy the scenery. Stopped here at 3pm on a Saturday and it was busy but we got a table right away. Lots of outdoor seating. For apps we had oysters, fried cod bites and crab rangoon. All were very good. Hawaiian coconut cod with the sauce was good, chicken sandwich was ok. I will come back again and recommend ordering seafood items.
Amazing waterside restaurant. Great handcrafted cocktails! Crabmeat Cheese Appetizer was overstuffed with deliciousness! Walleye was prepared perfectly prepared! Lobster rolls were New England worthy!
Huge garden salad. One of the best Ruben sandwiches you can get. Staff are super friendly and provide top notch service. Beautiful view of the marina on the water. Nice lunch specials! Will be back as the pizza looks amazing!
My boyfriend and I went here on a date for the Fourth of July. The food was amazing, our server was great and the environment was wonderful. I could go on and on about how fantastic this place is. It was definitely a 10 out of 10. Will definitely be coming here again.
