Happily stumbled upon this great ship purely by chance. My 12 year old nephew was interested (first spark of life on the trip that day). We drove closer to take a look and discovered it was a museum and open. It was quite fascinating going aboard and seeing the entire ship. Very few closed or blocked doors. Worth the time and money for sure.

Impressive, love it. So much to explorer. And so much to learn about this ship. I love Navy ships. There a story to tell on each and every one of them in Michigan. So glad I stop on in. Staff was friendly , kind and helpful. Answered questions. And the gentleman in the gift shop had a story to tell about this ship. He was interesting to chat with. As we were leaving another gentleman chatted with us again and explained a few more details. I was intrigued with the fire pit outside the gift shop. He explained who donated it. And gave a story as well. I would come back again when I am going that way again.

The first half of my visit was self-guided, and at my own pace. The areas off-limits were clearly marked and all guests receive a guide book containing rules upon entry in Admission Office/ Gift Shop. Halfway through my visit, I met Eric, a retired US Navyman, who not only offered to show me the Authorized Only parts of the ship, but also offered me some of his beautiful hand-made crafts as souvenirs. He taught me more than paper or books ever could, and I am SO thankful he was there to enjoy the weather as I was so we could explore the ship together. He crafts the rope work for the ship, and creates keychains for guests in his spare time. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing the ship and meeting the staff, but Eric is there most weekends if you're interested in an entirely unique experience! Please go when you have the time to truly appreciate the USS Edson!

The Edson is truly a gem. We took our Scout Troop there for an overnight experience. The volunteers were ALL amazing. The passion they have for history and this ship really showed at every turn. Specifically, Erik, who was our groups guide for the evening/night was absolutely amazing. He showed us parts of the ship and little details that we would easily have overlooked. I could tell that he really enjoyed giving tours and answering questions from both scouts and adults that were interested in learning more. Bruce (who actually SERVED on the Edson) also had some great insights and stories. If you are in Bay City, this is absolutely worth stopping for.

Very cool how close you can drive up to the ship and even stop get out and snap a picture of your vehicle, or even selfie or family photos with it. Great view of the water and definitely worth it at sunset!

This ship from the shore alone is magnificent. It looks big, but inside it is huge. Our tour guide Wayne, was fantastic. His knowledge of the ship and enthusiasm for the tour make it an unforgettable experience. It is worth far more that $15 a person. I cannot say enough good things about all of it. Even though we didn't see him, a big thank you to Paul as well.

Full disclosure, we arrived after they had closed for the day. That being sad the environment and scenery make for awesome photo back drops. Plenty of parking for even larger vehicles. If you are in the Baycity area and have some time to kill, check out the tour.

The riverwalk was a wonderful paved area along the river, we walked nearly 4 miles on it. Nice views, safe, and LOTS of ducks and geese.

A very quiet and scenic community area, lots of birds!

This is a nice place to visit. However, if you have little kids, be cautious. The railings there have spindles that are spaced wide enough for young kids to fit through. Parents need to make sure they are keeping an eye on their kids. There used to be some benches out at the end for people to sit on, but those are no longer there.

Absolutely awesome place for bands to play. We got to see Riot V perform there recently; we had plenty of room to sit, and the band sounded amazing. It has great acoustics for a smaller outdoor venue. The river is gorgeous, there are beautiful murals, a neat statue by a big fountain, and a small playground. They also had an ample amount of restrooms, which was super convenient. The only downside I could think of is that there wasn't as much parking as the show I went to needed. We got there early and had no problem, but my friends who got there later in the night had to walk pretty far.

Seagulls were very approachable and willing to take food. Only ever flew off when a passerby passed, but they would always return. The optimal location for seagull feeding is the benches by the Princess Wenonah boat. Would recommend highly.

We had the opportunity to visit the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell in APR_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience. We made a plant tour and fore sure it's beautiful place, specially to visit in a a hot summer day. The land around the Wenonah Park at World Friendship Shell is also remarkable, even a simple ride across the roads could be an unforgettable experience. Definitely, it's a place where we want back.

Beautiful place in downtown Bay City, right near the river. There are many events going on, especially in the Summer time. You are right next to downtown, where you can walk, eat, and have some fun. I highly recommend Bay City if you are traveling through Michigan.

Nice venue on the River, seen the band five for fighting there and it was a really cool evening. Took a couple pics with the drummer Mr. Randy Cooke, super great guy! I'd enjoy seeing another show here, parking was good and the atmosphere was very nice👍🏼

Bay City is a gem within the Great Lakes Bay Region and the live music at the World Friendship Shell in Wenonah Park never disappoints. I am looking forward to another summer spent enjoying the city.

the show was a bit silly for my taste and probably more aimed at children, the projector was a bit dim and it's cooling fans were very audible, and the seams in the screen were sometimes visible, but it was still good overall and I enjoyed myself quite a bit. definitely worth $7

The Planetarium is so nice! Have gone here a few times to learn about the stars & sciency stuffs. The environment is so comfy you might fall asleep, a nice place to relax and learn about the universe.

Tickets were sold out for the show we wanted to see, but! Another different show was available. Excellent show. Glad we stuck around.

Beautiful & educational facility. I have been here for multiple shows that never disappoint. A truly unique and remarkable experience. The little spaces throughout the planetarium with educational tidbits are fun. There is a a little gift shop as well. My wedding was held here in March of 2016 and the show that was put together for our ceremony was beautiful & unforgettable! Everyone we worked with for our wedding was professional & friendly. The pictures in the dome & on the viewing deck turned out amazing. Highly recommend attending a show here or even having an event here.

I lived here when it was Wynonna hotel, where the planetarium sits and the coolest part of that was the underground that we used to have some head shops down in there. It was the coolest thing ever in the 70s I like the planetarium it’s cool to.

Me and my fiance had an amazing time! The show was very well done and the symphony was out of this world. Well done! The only issue we had was the scrambling and moving people around to fill all the seats. It looked especially difficult for the seniors. My suggestion is to have assigned seats on ur website when purchasing tickets like they do at the movies now. I think that would help out tremendously for the patrons and the staff. And maybe an usher at the door with a flashlight for the elderly as well. I watched an elderly lady with a cane try n get up n go out but she couldn't see ..Thanks again great show otherwise...

We loved this place. 💙 So many beautiful antiques. The only issue we had was they only have 1 restroom for this whole block long antique store and it was out of order. We had to leave and walk quite a distance to locate a restroom we could use. I don't know how the workers there can go ALL day without using the restroom. Anyway, don't go with a full bladder but DEFINITELY Go there for the experience. This place is huge with an upstairs and basements. So many wonderful things to choose from Plan a whole day to shop there, so much to see!!

HUGE!! they everything you could want to search for. Dolls, records, knic knacks, books, clothes, they got it all. It's a huge area so plan to stay awhile! Family friendly. Parking is OK. Mostly parallel parking on front and side. The staff was so friendly and nice. Prices were good. And they run sales on different items different days. It's a must stop in and check out in bay city!!

First of all its HUGE!!!!! Blocks of stuff I had a great time looking at all the stuff. If you're going here you might need 2 days lol Some prices are above what they are worth but talk with the sellers some are willing to go down. I'll be back for sure!!! It's really my 5th time lol I had a great time as always and it's right next to the water and downtown. So if you get hungry it's just a few steps away. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Wow! This place is amazing. This center is huge. Three stories of assorted goods from yesteryear. You can get lost in this antique center. Lots and lots of booths. You can find knick knacks, toys, figurines, books, albums, furniture clothes, magazines, jewelry, and the list goes on. Plan on spending lots of time making your way through. Worth a visit.

Visited 12/30/21 This store is 3 levels, the lighting is good and the layout is awesome. I’m always rushed when we are in places like this, to appreciate the content you need to invest hours or half a day. Thank you!

So much stuff, almost a museum than a store but its a lot of fun to walk through. Most of the items i sought after were priced a bit high but i did buy something

This is a massive antique store with a truly impressive size, but the selection was mostly knick-knacks and nothing particularly unique stood out. It's a bit cluttered and 'mazy,' which is typical for these types of shops. The staff we saw were friendly, but many of the prices seemed high compared to other places we've visited. It's an okay stop if you're in the area and have some time to browse, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Beautiful building and I am glad that the building is still being used. I attended a show here and sat in the balcony. The seats are incredibly small and therefore uncomfortable. I do not know if the main floor seats are as small. I would attend another show here if it was someone I really wanted to see but would probably pass if it was an artist I was just somewhat interested in

The theater is beautiful, glad to have it back I! Went to the Magic Show that was advertised to be a 2 hr. Show from 3:00 -5:00 on Sunday April 13 and it was only 1 hr. It should have stated that is was geared for children also. It was mostly just juggling and jokes . We paid $20 and were disappointed.

Had a wonderful time there on Saturday night at the Frank Sinatra tribute concert. A great time and wonderful to have the Theater back open. If you love Bay City get there and support the new owner.

One word: Stunning! Immaculately restored to the glory days and ornate beauty of theatres of yesteryear, the State Theater is an absolute gem, located in the heart of Downtown Bay City. It is a must see on on your list of places to visit. The State Theater offers entertainment from seasonal movies, nationally recognized comedians and musical acts, renowned local artists, and local high school talent. They also offer a snack bar in the lobby with everything you would expect from a theater. The State Theater also offers gift certificates for anyone on your shopping list. Photos do not do justice to seeing this historical building in person. The State Theater is definitely a must see!

Really cool little venue! Had a great time at Family Strings on 2/27/20

Nice play area near the Saginaw river and apart of the parks downtown. Parks have paved paths for walking and bike riding. Geese and ducks are always present so watch where your walking and probably best to stay off of grass due to excessive droppings. It does have some nice spot for fishing from shore.

I have two small children, both neurodivergent. The park is well constructed and includes safe, fun equipment for all ages and stages of development. The families in the area are kind, and the kids play with one another no matter the differences. I've loved our times here so much, and so have my kids!

I love the 3-5yr old playground. The double swing is my toddler's favorite! But it gets very crowded, and my child is autistic, making it a less often choice.

We love this Park we come home every year from Florida to watch the Fireworks… Bay City by far puts on the best show… Very clean park lots of security we enjoy coming home just for the firework show very fun and exciting times!

This is my kids favorite park in Bay City. The park is big and there are many things to keep the kiddos entertained. It’s always clean and I love that it’s very close to the ice cream place with put put golf.

Thank you to Fireman BJ for doing story time, explaining what firefighters do, helping our kids be safe and showing them the equipment. You have a good rapport with children. My grandaughter likes the hat and sticker. The children's activities at this branch are well organized and age appropriate.

I waited weeks for a book to come in. The letter said they'd hold 10 days. They return the book the morning off the 10th day. I showed up at 1 pm on the 10 th day. Gone. They don't even wait until the close of the 10 th business day without informing you of this. BAD BUSINESS.

Staff were friendly and could be heard joking with visitors. The floors were very clean, and there were lots of small activities to do on the different floors. The amount of different genres and formats of entertainment was actually quite impressive, and the little book/movie sale on the 3rd floor was fun to look through. All in all it was a fun visit.

The last time I was at the Sage Library was 40 years ago. It's amazing how much this library has changed through the decades for the better. This library has the latest to offer, including an inviting children's area, computers, an elevator for all three floors, and a DVD area. The updates clearly show a much improved and intuitive layout and floor plan, while retaining it's historic architecture, welcoming environment, and decor. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. Highly recommended!!

Stopped in to work for a few hours. Very nice library with plenty of parking. Library looks well organized and staffed.

One of the oldest libraries in the State of Michigan, they even opened a "satellite site" at the Mall some years ago when the building (or was it the roads?) was undergoing some renovations. With a wonderful children's section in a historic building (that was once a home), the architecture alone is worth making a visit. There is a "rock garden" on the property, where many folks have painted small rocks and large stones with words, and sometimes scenes or other things. The public is encouraged to come and rearrange these painted rocks into sentences, etc. My grandsons had a blast doing this! It's fun for the kiddies, and a bit educational, too. Come and try it on for size.

Absolutely fantastic children’s programming! The children’s librarians are so friendly and energetic and the head children’s librarian makes a point of remembering the names of the kids who come to events which makes such a difference. When my son hears her say his name he lights up. It makes him feel like she notices that he is there and it makes the library feel like a community.

The children show more decorum than the “Adults”. People are allowed to talk at the tops of their lungs, so don’t expect to be able to read or study here. If they can’t even get their security guards to ask people to simply stop talking loudly on their phones or using profane language for the whole floor to hear, perhaps property tax should be lowered and this place can be defunded for them to get the message that this place needs to be run like an actual library.

Always enjoy going to Wirt library & Sage library. Downloaded Kanopy app and used my library card to register and can watch movies for free with tickets, and found that kids with a library card have their own section that is Unlimited. What a benefit to Parents with children, and a great reason to start kids young appreciating the resources from a Library.

First time coming here. Showed up at 1:30 on Sunday (hours posted are 1-5) Doors are locked, tried calling 5 times and got hung up on every time. Will never be coming back here, absolutely horrific establishment

a decent library plenty of nice reading spots. private rooms that are good for small groups and a good selection of books. honestly the only reason for my review is because of a rude and insulting comment made by one of the librarians a while back whe i was asking for info on different things. and she still works there. otherwise most the staff are friendly and helpful

I love that the library always has events and such for the kids but any event I have came to here has been so disorganized and when you ask questions, the staff look at you like you should what’s going on! I came to the live reindeer event with my toddler and it was chaos! Lots of parents had their children out in 20 degree weather without hats and coats. Library staff should report parents that don’t have their children dressed appropriately in harsh winter conditions. It’s a shame people just don’t care anymore.

Had such a fun afternoon with Sunrise Pedal Trolley in Bay City! Brandon was a total gem — upbeat, helpful, and made the whole ride feel effortless. The bars along the route clearly knew the drill and had drink specials ready that matched the trolley’s recs, which made everything fast and fun. Such a great way to enjoy Bay City with friends — can’t wait to go again!

My girls and I had such a fun time on the trolley. We booked the trolley for my bachelorette party. Melissa was an amazing guide and made the experience so fun. She knew all the local bars including some fun dive bars to go to.

My husband I come here for our anniversary every year and this was the BEST service we have had! (Never had bad service but our server, Chris, went above and beyond and she was very kind and attentive!) The food was amazing, as always. Highly recommend and will be returning again for our annual celebration! 🥳

Let me just start by saying the food here is excellent and I would reorder any of the dishes we had. That said, the reason I would return again without hesitation is because the unparalleled service we received during our visit. Without going into too many details let’s just say we were traveling with very demanding, stubborn elderly folks. Our waitress did nothing but smile and accommodate them through it all and apologized for things that were out of her control. I don’t know how she maintained her composure and patience but she deserved a big raise or an Employee of the Week recognition of some sort!

Great place for Happy Hour! Beautiful view sitting at the outdoors bar. The smoked whitefish dip was excellent and a great portion size as a "shareable." The walleye bites were great tasting but tiny. It was three bite size pieces. I felt it was too for the cost. The cocktails were good as well. The restrooms were very clean. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Overall great experience!

You want REAL Seafood? My crab cakes were awesome! The Clam chowder was so good that I slurped my soup! Highly recommended. I would love to go back and try everything!

Nice restaurant, service was pretty good, food was a one star. Hubby's fish was like a frozen fried fish patty. My scallops were served in a pond of thick sickening sweet syrup, you couldn't even taste the scallops. The baby broccoli served with it was nothing but thick stems. The pureed sweet potatoes listed on the menu were tiny tiny diced pieces, about 10 of them, we would not go back.

Ate here as part of a sales marketing campaign. I was surprised that the service and quality of food was top notch. Not expecting such great food in these venues. Will definitely consider coming back here on our own to try other options on their menu.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here tonight. Expect top of the line wait staff and food that really sells. Here's my take: steak meat...chef knows PERFECTLY how to cook it. Why? Because he cooks seafood all of the time. Of course he is expert at cooking steaks!!! Wife had lobster/filet. Lobster: 10!!! Filet mignon, 6. Poor cuts of beef but expertly cooked. Bonus...Gazpacho!!!!! The best ever.

The park was designed by the same guy who designed Central Park in New York. It is really beautiful. The landscape and different trees and the pond area are amazing. However, the pond area needs some serious renovation. It doesn't appear to have been maintained over the years, it needs to be washed with a power sprayer and the pond is drained down to the bottom in some areas.

Relaxing place to enjoy a nice summer day. The water fountains have been repaired. The pond is beautiful.

Nice place to bring the kids or dogs to relax or play in the shade. This is definitely a hidden treasure in Bay City.

Very beautiful park right in the middle of town! There's no shortage of room to roam among many old-growth trees, tennis courts, open grassy areas, and several places to picnic. There's a children's playscape area, a large gazebo surrounded by picnic tables, and even has a large charcoal grill... good for a family gathering! Don't miss the duck pond (parent supervision is a must here), and be sure to let the kids climb on the animal sculptures. Don't hesitate to enjoy a day with family and friends at Caroll Park!

Huge well maintained park with everything from pickle ball and a playground to a fountains and a collection of animal statues! Easy parking, lots of shade and places to sit. A pavilion...one of the best parks in the GLBR!

Very nice park, lots of shade and grass. We went to see fireworks on Saturday. Next time I hope to get closer to fireworks.

I parked my 45' rig in the parking lot to visit friends at the hotel security rolled up about 10 minutes after parking to inform me we can not over night in the parking lot and had suggested a few locations for us if needed. I let him know we were just visiting for a few hours. The gentleman was very polite and interactive not rude in any way. As a nomad I appreciate that more then you think.

Genuine question- Since when does the Bay City mall allow non-service dog walking?! I've frequented this mall throughout the years from its peak of shopping to the present day. In the past few months, I've never witnessed so many dog walkers. I don't know if a new policy or marketing scheme was implemented, but regardless, I'm so very disappointed in allowing non-service dogs in as the norm. I often see dogs in the Marshalls' shopping carts or in the aisles. It's become quite a deterrent for me, especially as I've witnessed some very aggressive non-service dogs being walked here. Sadly, this mall is a shadow of its former days. Would give a slightly better rating if non-service dogs were not permitted. Legit service dogs? Absolutely allowed. Your family pet? A hard no.

Well, idea enjoy going to Claire's. I haven't been there in a long time. Find the clearance sales I was able to find my granddaughter. Some jury and I did get the goal to bath body works. But those are the 2 stores I enjoy going to I would have liked to enjoy a movie there. I didn't get to really go finish seeing all of it, but I do plan to go back and try to see it again

Welcome to Hampton Mall 2019. Back in the day(like 10 years ago) this place used to be the spot. The wide open food court. The stores filled with customers. Some good things just don't last. Maybe if the rent wasn't so damn high they wouldnt have closed down nearly every store. The only reason to ever come here is to watch a movie go, to planet fitness, have an auntie Anne's pretzel or shop at GameStop. This place is a hallowed out corpse of a once great thing.

So much empty...but very clean. It's sad how indoor malls have fallen over the years. This place looked like it was a good one in its day.

Very nice ppl here. Got to see santa and couldn't afford to pay for pictures so they let us take some with our phone. Wish this mall had more stores but other then that, was a nice place to come to.

Beautiful downtown main street vibes with plenty to do. Great shops and restaurants close to parks and family attractions. We caught a line dancing block party during our visit and had a ball!

Uptown Bay City has got to be a model city! Being on the river of Saginaw Bay, you see large ships come through. The town area has a park and band shell which puts on amazing free concerts June - August 20. Grab your lawn chairs and join everyone. Easy free parking, even bus service. All the buildings are full of businesses. Coffee shop, hand made candy, bakeries, all kinds of restaurants, a lot have outside seating. Clothing stores, Delta college even has a planetarium with a different show every day twice a day $5! Many of the stores have remodeled upstairs that rent out upscale apartments. Some people were pretty smart when they organized all that!!

Beautiful place the park on the water was beautiful with blooming flowers and lots of wildlife, it made for a fabulous family day just walking around and enjoying the beauty❤️

An extremely walkable downtown that's full of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques. Grab dinner and a drink and then take a wall down by the river and watch the boats go by.

It's my favorite place to shop, dine and see the sights! I feel like I'm at home there.

Bay City strikes me is trying too hard to revitalize themselves. It come off as disingenuous. Lots of antique stores which are really fun to go to. A lot of really great antiques but it seems like that's really all that's left.

Great place with a great view in the clock tower. I like to come here every year just to see how much Bay City changed in that year. The people here are great and very friendly.

An empty trash can problem resulting in a $200 fine? Wow...that is special. You people should be real proud of yourselves. Thanking you for taking care of the real problems in our communities. I'm going to call a realtor and buy a home in Bay City right now.

One of Bay City's historic gems that is a sight to behold. Still in use as the City Hall, hub of city staff and commission, stopping in to see this beautifully renovated building is a must!

A beautifully architectured city hall, this 118 year old building is a survivor. It dodged a wrecking ball in 1977 and a fire in 2010. Come take a tour for only a dollar, the clock tower view is well worth it. It's good to see history being preserved.

Had an amazing cruise July 12, 2025, in Tawas Bay! Perfect weather helped, but the Captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable, made me feel safe, and are clearly excited about their mission. Highly recommend; bring some $ for tips to the crew!

It was a great sailing day. The crew was knowledgeable and fun to talk with. The crew lives on the boat; they are serious sailors. I am ready to go again. Bring drinks, snacks, a light jacket and tip money for the crew, they deserve it.

Went out of Tawas City and it was incredible. The crew were amazing. If you have ever been interested in the Tall Ships this is the one to go on.

This experience was AMAZING!! we went during their visit to Alpena and I CANNOT say enough about this experience and the crew of the Appledore 4. Two young kiddos asked about mermaids and the amazing deck hands told us ALL about the mermaids and how often they see them. The magic of this journey was felt by all on board! Will definitely be doing a ride with the Appledore again as soon as we can!

I had the pleasure of sailing Thunder Bay in Alpena aboard the Appledore IV. Captain Matt and his crew are fantastic- very knowledgeable and entertaining. Well worth the price.

We had a wonderful sail in Tawas Bay this afternoon. We experienced unexpected 15 mph winds for a really fun trip. The crew was very experienced with tons of information as well as extremely friendly. We definitely recommend this opportunity and the support it offers for their non-profit organization.

We loved this peaceful sailing adventure The crew is knowledgeable and caring and proceeds go towards assisting youth learn how to sail! Amazing first time tall ship experience!

The food was excellent. Meatballs were very tender, Fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Chicken was juicy and tender. Coconut cream pie and cherry pie were delicious. Wished I could have had room for more!

Great wait staff, amazing food kinda chilly in there but, they had some good hot noodle soup wasn't much chicken. Their pierogies were very delicious, mashed potatoes, liver and onions. Of course I'm polish so it was the best for a buffet.

The polish buffet was great. I didn't like the krut And sausage or whatever it was. but everything else was good. The Fish and the bell pepper meat loaf were my favorites 😋 my server was great as well. Update, i ended up getting food poisoning That same day. I still believe it was that krut and sausage stuff but it could have been something else there. I had to bring my score down but i didn't too much. The more i think about it make me want to give 3 stars, but i believe in second chances

I’m from Virginia and stopping by to visit relatives and decided to drop by for some eats little did I know not only the atmosphere but the food would be amazing we usually go to Frankenmuth for the Bavarian Food and Atmosphere after this visit that will no longer be the case this is 💯 times better than what you will Find in Frankenmuth and worth the drive the fish especially is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it

I went there with a party of four and we did not bother ordering anything off the menu. The reason is simple. The buffet is fantastic! This place has been in the area for a while. It is some really good food. And if it you are Polish.. You're in for a treat. They serve pigs in the blanket.. they were pretty good,

This restaurant is a great place to grab authentic and homemade polish food. I went for lunch with a friend, and had the buffet, the sauerkraut and sausage was delicious highly recommend! The chicken, and fish was also homemade breaded, and was very good. I will definitely be going here again, I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend their "Point Root Beer". The food is also amazing. The BLT my Mom ordered was huge and the fries were crispy and seasoned well. They have a gift shop where you can buy "Point Root Beer" and various other treats. The Sunday Polish buffet was delicious and tasted very authentic. Will come here again when I'm in Bay City. Areas of improvement for the restaurant: - Labels for the buffet items. The salad bar had labels, but the hot food didn't. - Walls and ceilings need cleaning. There was a particularly gross looking light switch next to our table. - Service needs improvement. The waitress forgot about our table, so my mom had to wait 20 minutes to order her food (me and my dad had the buffet). The waitress didn't bring us a menu until after we got our drinks which unnecessarily increased the wait time for my Mom to order. - The buffet items are messy, but we only had one napkin per person for the entire visit. The extra wait soured the experience for my Mom, but she enjoyed her giant BLT and fries. I still rate the restaurant 5 stars because the above issues can be easily fixed with extra training and procedures. I hope the owner sees this and makes some logistical adjustments to help improve the customer experience. My suggestions: - Extra napkin alongside silverware when the customer sits down. Could also consider a napkin dispenser at the table. - Monthly wall and ceiling cleaning. Possibly replace dirty and worn down light switches. - Laminated printed cards with food names and ingredients. Allows for easy swapping for the different styles of buffets. You can have blank laminated cards that you can use dry-erase markers on to write on for special one-off buffet items. - Menu holder at each table or train staff to always bring a menu with the placemats/silverware.

We stopped in for a quick bite during happy hour. They had a special on flatbread. Unfortunately they refused to honor it even though all their table signs said 5 pm. As you can see from the pictures it was a little after 4 pm. Talk about false advertising. I’ll be avoiding them in the future. 8/10 - Feel free to check my bill, you DID NOT discount them at half off, I was charged the full price!. You should also update all the table cards (Picture attached) it clearly states 1/2 off on Wednesday. No changing my review to 1*

We went to Bay city for some work and I found this place because they had Gluten Free options for my husband. Their GF flat bread was good, good fries and the burger was ok, not like I wanted it but it was tasty. They do have options for vegetarians. I would come back to try more things.

Wow, this was pretty awesome tonight. Came in on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 off flights, the choices of beer were outstanding allowing me to sample several new brews. Despite recommendations for burgers and flatbreads, the Hibachi Bowl caught my eye. It came out quickly and was absolutely fantastic, one of the best dishes I’ve had traveling around lately. On top of that, place was clean and the people friendly. I don’t get up to Bay City often, but I will be back here for sure!

We wanted to say thank you so much for having our baseball group last night. We greatly appreciate the fact that you could make a reservation with such short notice and give us a nice patio spot! The hostess and waitress were lovely. We had a few birthdays in our group and they also accommodated that. The food was also quite tasty. Thank you so much for a wonderful night. We hope we are back in the great town of Bay City soon so we can see you again!

We ordered quite a few things. The pizza was my favorite! It had a very addictive spicey marinara and was delicious! 10/10 on the pizza scale!

Service was great but our chicken nachos were cold and nothing special. They did take them off our bill. Fried green beans were the best of everything ordered. Tried my wife’s smash burger which was good but not $14 good. Good service, okay food, WAY overpriced.

The outside seating was spacious, the waitstaff was excellent (congenial, engaging and remained professional), the overall beverage selection was very impressive, especially the beer selection! Everyone in our party of 7 said their food was delicious. The view of the water and the sunset during dinner topped the night off. Kudos Tavern 101, thank you for a great evening.

Stopped in to get a howler fill. When the barkeep pulled out a couple of pint glasses and a funnel, I knew things could only go sideways from here. The ensuing fill was as regrettable as you'd imagine. I know better than to attempt to point out the ridiculousness of what had transpired to the person responsible for said madness, so just paid full price for the partial fill and went on my way. Staff need retraining.

I had the Irish Guinness Stew and my fiance had the salmon Caesar salad as well as a side of delicious onion rings! All were excellent and if we ever come back to Michigan we will be back!

This restaurant is family owned neighborhood bar where you feel at home right away. We visit ALL the time and it's always great. We've never had poor or even mediocre service or food. Recently we had a huge party on the patio on a busy Friday night. We had at 20-25 people and our waitress was the best I've ever seen on a big party. Kelsey never made a single mistake and her response time was practically instant for everything including food, drinks, extra sauces and stuff like that. We actually all gave her a round of applause at the end of the party. Although in my experience at coonans that is par for course.... The waitstaff here is the best in Bay City in my opinion. The waitstaff here is always friendly and positive..... You'll always leave full and in a great mood! I can't recommend Coonans enough!!

Love the atmosphere and food here! First off we were treated very well and promptly by the staff. The food here was delicious. My husband ordered a Jalapeño Burger and I ordered the veggie Quesadilla. We also ordered the Deep fried Dill Pickles as an appetizer. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to eat and socialize!

Love the hometown feel of Coonan’s, where everyone knows your name..especially Kim :). I love the variety of draft beer. I had the Olive Burger, which was ok. My brother had the Hub Burger Deluxe which was very good. Service is always great and its always nice of Kim Coonan to stop by and give my mom a hug.

Coonan’s is always great for a nice dinner and a beer at a Bay City backyard bar. Kim and his staff certainly know how to make you feel at home and make sure you’re taken care of. They have a very diverse menu, Irish food, a variety of hotdogs, great soups, and nice outdoor seating that is pet friendly.

Great Irish Pub. The fish was Cod tenderloin. Our server was very nice. She answered all of the questions. Cold beer, good mixed drinks.

Omg, I have waited over 2 years to finally get to this place. If you are a Beatles fan or just walking down memory lane this is the place. Beautiful decor obviously all Beatles memorabilia. Plus the coffee is amazing and the owners are super friendly. Definitely worth the hour-long drive. Lots of souvenirs.

Such an awesome place to grab a coffee and admire one of the greatest bands ever. The coffee was amazing, the collection was second to none, and the conversation with the owner was interesting about the transformation. We drove several hours to try them out! I've been waiting years to go here as a huge Beatles fan. We checked their website before leaving as it was a day after a holiday and there was nothing posted. When we got there, it was closed! Extremely disappointed. Hours and days you are closed need to be updated on your website!

I’m not a Beatles fan but this place is pretty freaking cool. So much to look at it’s amazing. I was lookin at the old concert tickets & $5.. what a time that must’ve been lol. The woman & man were really friendly. Cash only just lyk. We’ll be back!

Watched fireworks here- it was an okay park, not enough restrooms. Lots of geese. The show was fun.

Nice park near the bridge walking path at the river walk. This is a nice place to play and see some wildlife (like Geese laying in the grass 😂). I have been walking the river walk for years, and the events like the fireworks and ballgames in the Summer are nice to attend. An update, there is now a new playground here, nice!

Nice area to walk, fish or have a picnic and relax. There is an area where you can park be really close to a picnic table and by the water. It makes it accessible for someone in a wheelchair or person who can't walk a long distance. It is also pet friendly.

Bay City has some really interesting and creative playgrounds. The river walks are fantastic too. Lots of bathrooms and dog friendly too. Thank you Bay City. We live visiting.

I love taking my kids to this park. It’s right by the water so you can walk on the bridge and there is always so many different birds.

Quite, clean park. Great for relaxing by yourself or with family. Nice play ground for kids and space to run in grass. There’s also a bike repair station by the port-a-potties.

I usually visit this park to watch the fireworks. I think I may have to consider it for launching my kayak sometime, but not until I have someone willing to ride with me. The worst park of this park is the bottle-necking of traffic as you try to leave. But that is probably the case all over the city during their fireworks. Growing up, we used to tailgate on the southern side of the island, but you can no longer park on the grass there, so parking is much more limited.

The beers here are top notch. The Giant Slayer is one of the best Imperial Stouts you'll find anywhere. The Whole Enchilada Food Truck was a delicious surprise bonus for us.

The bartender wins high accolades. The service was fantastic. The parking could not be easier. We visited with our 25ft travel trailer in tow, and the parking was easy . The beer was good, but I would recommend asking for a small taste if you want to add something new to your flight.

In the area for the day. Decided to stop and what a great choice that was! Great beer, beautiful space and staff was awesome! Thank you from WI folks!

I stopped in on my way to my daughter’s home in Bat City to see my new grandson. The staff hustled and were personable, the beer rocked. It was a good experience.

31 beers on tap! All made in-house. The really do run the gamut, from light ales & pilsners to wits, wheats, Belgian pales & darks, porters, stouts & cider plus house-made N/A root beer. A nice, bright, clean, welcoming location. The beertender was very friendly, helpful & informative. They often have food trucks but not on this particular Sunday as there is a private party going on in the room on the north. I feel a return trip in my future, can't leave that many brews untested. And they're only 1.5 hrs from the old homestead. Road trip! 🏍

Great beer. My favorite was the Creme Brulee Coffee Wheat 😍

It was just "ok" for our event (a wedding rehearsal dinner). There were limited brews and extremely limited wines available. Meh. Perhaps it would be perfect for a bachelor party? The rooms are awkward. We brought in pizza and sides, but the inner room is small and we had a hard time setting everything out. The outer room also flows to the outdoors, which meant there were random people and children passing through our event quite a lot. It's pretty, and I'm sure it's great for some events, I just wasn't impressed with it for ours (about 25 people. )

This was an absolutely wonderful ride. Captain Matt is full of information and stories.. definitely was the highlight of the ride! Plenty of places to sit and nice scenery on the trip. Drinks are affordable but your options are limited to cans or bottles of wine so don’t expect a full bar here. Food was decent, but your mileage may vary based on expectations or who is catering your trip. If you’re nice, Captain Matt will let you drive.. but be warned that you might end up with a selfie (attached here) if you let him take pictures 😂. Would highly recommend this trip if you’re in the area, as it was a wonderful time!

Absolutely Amazing Bay City Boat Ride Tour! We had the BEST time on our boat ride history tour in Bay City, MI! From the moment we stepped on board, we felt welcomed and cared for. The captain came right up to us and asked the 3 magic questions about our service dog (which made us smile!), and you could tell right away—he truly knows his stuff. His knowledge of the area and the stories he shared made the ride both fun and fascinating. The staff was just as incredible—so friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. The boat itself was spotless and super inviting. We were really impressed by how clean and comfortable everything was. And let’s talk about the snacks! We enjoyed every bite and sip—especially my bottled margarita. Yes, they had those, and yes, it was DELICIOUS! We truly loved every minute of this experience and are already planning to do it again. If you're in Bay City, don’t miss this ride—it’s an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

The historical boat tour was a lot of fun! We learned a lot about Bay City that we didn't know and saw parts of Bay City that we had never seen before. They had a very easy booking and boarding process as well. I highly recommend them!

Enjoyable and entertaining dinner cruise of the river and lake. Meal was ok, if you don’t mind eating on styrofoam with plastic ware and a cookie for dessert! Captain Matt is the best, kilt and all! Crew is accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed the sunset, the draw bridges, and meeting a large cargo ship.

The river cruise is a great idea for an afternoon getaway. The tour guide points out a lot of history you might not know about, as well as natural features, including lots of water fowl! We saw egrets, loons, more cormorants than I ever thought existed in Michigan, and a bald eagle, as well as more common birds like ducks. Definitely worth the time, and the historic downtown is a great place to spend some time after the tour is over.

It was a very nice informative boating experience. I only wish there were either an elevator to the second floor or a bathroom on the first floor too. My 86 year old Mother was confined to the bottom floor having to hold her bladder for 2 hours. That is also the reason we didn't purchase any beverage's on there. Nice experience though otherwise.

Captain Matt and his friendly crew made the trip very enjoyable. We sat on the first deck at the large tables, had snacks, played cards and took in the views. I love nature and industry. Tour guide information was interesting. I learned more about Bay City. We have a train bridge that opens for the boats. Fun seeing a train cross the bridge. Capt. Matt and the tour guide were kind to children telling them stories, teaching about boats and allowing them to steer. ❤️⛴️⚓️ (Only difficulty was at times hearing speakers over the engine noise. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

We ordered a crudité platter and charcuterie board from Artigiano for a recent event, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team was phenomenal to work with. Professional and genuinely passionate about what they do. We even had a custom platter request, and not only did they accommodate it, they exceeded our expectations. The presentation was beautiful, the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully chosen, and our guests couldn’t stop raving. Highly recommended!

If you want to make an unbelievable charcuterie board, this is a great place to go and get everything you need! I tell you they have everything here for a good time with friends or family or both. Including extremely sharp Japanese made chef knives crafted from high carbon steel. Not a bad price either. Definitely stop in here to get some snacks if your in the area it's worth it you will enjoy.

Love this place! It is always one of my stops when I'm out shopping Downtown. I love their selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. I bought my first good knife here, find great gifts here for friends and family, and Artigiano is the place I recommend for charcuterie boards!

Fun place, small store, sort of a boutique offering of wines, specialty goods and food items. We went there mostly for the ice cream. It’s located on a blocked off street, so you can get ice cream and then sit outside. There can be a fair amount of shade, but don’t count on it. Prices are very reasonable and the portions, even for a small serving of ice cream were quite substantial. An interesting selection of wines including local, and some slightly out of the ordinary. A variety of boutique type food items available as well as some utensil or accessory type items. It’s worth a visit for the ice cream alone.

Wow, I'm in heaven. Top quality cheese store. This is what Bay City needs. Some solid better quality food places. I love cheese. Real cheese. They have some other items in the store but, this place is about top quality cheese and meat. I will be there every week.

Awesome first visit today. We got a taste of some Drunken Goat Cheese as a snack, and a cup of Blood Orange Gelato. Kevin was so helpful! We will be back

Absolutely adore this shop. I've been shopping here since it opened many years ago, and I continuously fall in love with the items they get in stock! I used to stop by weekly when living in Bay City, but even though I'm no longer close to the physical store, I love shopping on their website. They are great about showcasing their new pieces on Instagram so you can get a look at how the items fit on a real person. The girls that work here are all amazing and so friendly too!

I ordered the Riverfront Burger. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked. I certainly wasn't expecting to get one that was burned. I ended up eating some of it simply because I was hungry. The waitress asked if I wanted a box for the rest and I told her no. I showed her my burger and she was shocked. They did end up comping my meal. My husband did enjoy his sandwich. And the fries were amazing.

Nice place. Nice ambiance. Went on a Sunday for brunch. Ordered the egg white spinach frittata and added cheese and jalapeños on it. It was good. A bit too spicy 🌶. But can’t blame coz I don’t do spicy at all. Overall it was good. Came with a side of fresh fruit which was nice. The waffles were good. French toasts were a disaster. Tasted like old, dry bread with a superficial coating of egg. Even with syrup, they were too dry. The staff were nice and friendly. (Photos attached)

It had to be one the best kept secrets in downtown Bay City on the river. We stopped in for a quick appetizer and it was delicious. They have an amazing outside patio with plenty of seating, the staff was friendly and prompt.

Food was very good! We had the Steak Cobb Salad and the Reuben Sandwich with fries. Both were fantastic and we highly recommend. The French fries were so good it is worth mentioning. Highly recommend the food. The view of the Saginaw River from the outdoor patio was very nice. There is a park between the restaurant and the river which we took a really nice walk along the waterfront. Later we road on the Bay City Railtrail which we also highly recommend. Area is really nice.

I had a glass of chardonnay and they gave me a quite generous pour. I also ordered the black and blue steak tips under the small plate menu and it was the best I've ever had. My server was prompt and I had no problems. I'll certainly be back. The view was awesome other than the Cloudy weather.

Unique place in Bay City, complete with a bank vault. We dined in the vault, which was a blessing because it served as a containment system for the two rug rats we had. Otherwise they would have been harder to corral in the main dining area. This was our second time here. Six months ago I thought it had the best burger in the tri cities. Now, not so much. I got the same burger, but it was barely warm when I got it. Although we ordered soup, they ran out, so most of our party didn’t get any. The one bowl we got was cold for some reason. So overall impression is that the food is not as good as it was six months ago, the vault is cool, and I hope they can bring this back to what it was.

The food was very good. The biskets and gravy were awesome. It was more soup-like and awesome. The flank steak was a little tough but good. The chicken tenders were also amazing. If we didn't live an hour away, we would come here more often.

This place is adorable. Looks like an awesome spot for a little party or celebration. The service was great. Hailey was warm and welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food was good, perhaps a bit over-priced. Big portions though. Hubby got a venison burger and said it was good, maybe could’ve used more aioli. He loved the fries. I couldn’t finish my chicken sandwich it was so big. The Old Fashioned was strong and yummy. We especially enjoyed the soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese. Staff checked to ensure we had a good experience. Good vibes:)

Appetizer - Ordered whitefish dip and bacon wrapped goat cheese dates - both were good but served lukewarm. Seasonal apple cider mule had minimal apple cider flavor and no cinnamon as described on the menu. Entrees - we had the Nashville fried chicken, which was good overall. A little more sauce would make this better. The sides were disappointing. It was served with mashed potatoes & carrots. Mashed potatoes were watery (no joke) and unseasoned and the carrots were cold and under cooked. Sadly I have had better instant mashed potatoes. The 2nd entree was Maple glazed salmon which was overcooked and very small portion. The salmon was served with the same sides as mentioned earlier & cooked the same way. So disappointing. We had high hopes for this place but it just didn’t deliver the quality meal we were expecting. We went on a Wednesday evening & wasn’t very busy (think there was only one server). Service was good and we didn’t have the long wait that others have mentioned. It would be tough to convince us to return. It’s a great space inside with some unique features but that doesn’t equate to great food.

This place in downtown is a must go me and my buddy are here on a work trip for a class and we were told by some locals to try it. All the ingredients are locally sourced and it shows in the flavor. We had the white fish dip, the salmon plate, and the venison burger all cooked to perfection. The fish dip with bread slices was so good I almost ordered another. The salmon tasted fresh as well as the veggies we got on the side. The venison burger I added a easy over egg and bacon on and it's hard to say "the best burger ever" but it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The service was impeccable and would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Awesome local restaurant located in downtown Bay City! The restaurant is beautiful with a large open concept. The windows and decor make it very welcoming. I enjoyed hot coffee in a glass mug - the waitress did a great job of keeping my cup full the whole time. The menu was extensive and highlighted local farm to table options. We enjoyed the sourdough breakfast sandwich, which was made unique with chive cream cheese on it! Overall, it was a great meal at a reasonable price. I'm excited to come back and try more menu items!

My sister took me here for my birthday. We had such an amazing time. The staff was very helpful. There is some many items to chose from. Also there's are amazing colors to chose from as well. It was my first visit inside Studio 23. I stopped specifically to see the Tribute to Bay City in Lego's which was amazingly done! I did not realize how much local talent they highlight or that you could take art lessons or that children could do art themed birthday parties there. How cool is that! Will definitely be stopping in more often.

Was here for painting class. Made us feel like we could create anything, and that all our paintings were wonderful. We really enjoyed it.

The staff are very friendly and the changing galleries are incredible. Free admission and just a great place to stop in every so often to admire a variety of arts. And lots of local art! This place is one of the coolest are museums I have gone to and it's right near the water and several coffee shops. Wonderful place!

Studio 23 is a great place to be if you love art. I take classes there and the teacher is very helpful and nice. They change their exhibits frequently. They have fun workshops and contests. The art is displayed all around the studio, if your looking for an art class this is the place. I highly recommend it if you love art.

I attended the "Sip and Swirl" event and found it very enjoyable. As someone who lacks experience in painting, I was never worried about falling behind or messing up. The instructor was friendly, knowlegdable, and kept a good pace. This made it easy to focus on having a good time. I can't wait to do it again!

I love the small laid back painting class. I get to paint what I want and no sketchbook and grades to worry about. We talk about our pets and kidsand listen to music. We bring in snacks. You can miss a class if you need to. The instructor is friendly and funny. He is always ready to help if you want advice. The studio brings in art exhibits to look at. While you are taking the class you get a pass for nearby parking so you do not run afoul of the free time limited parking space enforcer that probably catches more offenders than even Mad Dog the bounty hunter and his wife.

Lovely park.. very easy to navigate and a short walk to the bay if you like that kind of thing. 2 restrooms/showers and very well maintained. I popped in for a single night with my hammock and realized it was super quiet after 10pm. Ten out of ten would stop by again. Also was able to record two owl types on a bird watching app I use. Very cool.

I’m visiting from NH. Our lakes are very clear & clean. This lake was far from that. However multiple people were in the water swimming and my daughter didn’t mind the mud bath. I will say that the kids playground and splash pad was on and popping. I wish there was food store & souvi er shop.

We were visiting family and they brought us here for the day. It is absolutely beautiful here. Nice and clean. There is tons of parking and places to picnic. Whether you want to play at the beach or take the kids to the splash pad, there is something for everyone.

Drove from Indianapolis (5 hours) to try to view the Northern Lights....we viewed them!! Bay City did not disappoint. A great park! Friendly people. Looking forward to coming back.

Beach area was nice. Had volley ball pit, and a handicap ramp towards the water. Splash pad for the kiddos. Mine was a spur of the moment trip but I see coming back with family for a longer stay.

The state park was amazing! There was a walkway the whole way that went through marshes and all the way to the beach! We saw deer and birds and a tern! There was even a walkway out to the water. It was much appreciated by my husband and me.

Campground was great—clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and great for kids. The splash pad was awesome. The beach had nice sand and warm water, but the algae, muddy bottom, and very shallow water were disappointing. Loud music from boats near the beach took away from the otherwise peaceful feel of the park. Also part of the beach is private property.

Broad scope of collections and well displayed. This feels like the start of what will be an excellent local museum!

Visited the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame here and the exhibit is fantastic! Incredible historical record of Michigan's influence in Rock. Definitely worth a visit...or more.

We love preschool Tuesdays! Everyone is always so warm and welcoming and the PBS room is fantastic!

Amazing exhibits, and very informative.

This museum gives a detailed history of the area. They have done some excellent research. There is so much to read and learn it would be lovely to make multiple visits. The museum is free, donations are appreciated, but no obligation. There is a nice gift shop with a helpful staff. As much as we enjoyed the museum, it probably would not be interesting for young children.

It's a great tribute to the fire service. Kids and adults love it.

Fun museum with lots of neat fire equipment and a beautiful wooden boat to see. Would appreciate more information about some of the trucks (like the great information signs on/ around the super pumper), but still a fun collection to take in.

Great place to learn about antique toys and fire trucks. Something for the entire family to enjoy. Wonderful volunteers very knowledgeable and friendly. Very impressive fire trucks! They even knew the history of Dalmatians and fire service. I recommend you take the time to go enjoy looking around the museum.

Great lay out. So many trucks and toys. Great place for kids to see and climb on the trucks. Guides are very knowledgeable and love telling you about the trucks.

So many firetrucks 🚒 (real one and the toys) The nice gentleman gave us a tour, told us about the history and arranged the firetuck ride, such a wonderful and unique museum experience! Kids can really touch the steering wheels and ring the bells 🔔! So cool : D

Great display of fire equipment it has 2 of essexville fire trucks(28 & 73 American LaFrance), bangors Ariel 7 that was the first truck at the Jupiter fire., NYC Supper pumper

This place is a must see for any firefighter! They have the Super Pumper which is the largest fire truck ever made. It went into service in New York City in 1965 and it is not only the only one in existence it is the only one ever made. The collection of toys is endless and they have fire trucks spanning the entire history of fire fighting.

Nice park to take little ones. I would give a 5 stars but behind the slides they have a climbing wall. The only problem with it is when its sunny out the wall gets to hot to touch

VERY NICE PARK. I'VE BEEN COMING HERE SINCE 1963. ALWAYS HAVE ENJOYED WALKING MY DOGS HERE OVER ALL THESE YEARS. THERE IS A VERY NICE NEIGHBORHOOD CAR SHOW HERE AT THE PARK EVERY SEPTEMBER.

it has many homeless people in park most of time many drunk or drugged up no bathrooms, no place 4 children without complete supervision 🤔

The small bench court in the middle is overgrown with weeds and benches are breaking down. A local warned me of nefarious activity if I stayed after dark, so I felt uncomfortable being there with my family.

Only worth going on car show day.not in the safest area at night. Fine during the day.nice park not used enough by locals..

Riff Raff from the shelter hangs out there all day. They don't interfere but make my kids feel uncomfortable. Park equipment is not maintained. Litter galore. Will bring bags and a bat next time.

There have been much improvements to Birney park over the years. I passed through Birney park on my way for a walk to downtown Bay City. Stopped on a clean bench for a rest. Can't wait for the car show

It's cool to see this time of year all frozen over. We are working in the area on the power lines with a helicopter 🚁 and the water is frozen as fat as I could see. This is my 4th great lake to visit I am hoping to visit lake superior this year. I like to travel for work getting to see all the cool sites.

Beautiful twilight and sunset over Saginaw Bay. Platform on trail elevated our experience by lifting our visual 20+ft in the air.

Absolutely beautiful to say the least, so peaceful and relaxing. (Love all the bird sounds especially!)

I actually don’t know the name of this place, I was looking for trails to run that morning and GPS directed me there. I loved the view. And the trails are beautiful.

Sidewalk is very narrow and edged with jagged stone. Gotta really be careful with kids here! Lots of cyclists too so be careful! Great fishing in front by the pipes!

Park itself is in a nice location with open space, hill, two pavilions and two play equipment areas. One side of the park seems to have been kept up better then the other, lots of weeds and graffiti. A one afternoon neighborhood clean up this place would do a lot of good!

This park always has young kids thru teens sitting at picnic table smoking and doing drugs. Alot of fights happen here. My grandson picked up a syringe at Easter. Not a good park at all. Lots of graffiti in wood. Would definitely not recommend this park.

Basically one park for big kids and another for smaller kids. Not the best area? Liquor bottles and trash

Nice little park close to my house has a little baby playground and a regular kid playground. But I don't want to take my grandkids there because there's are these stickers plants all over the regular kid playground and my grandkids keep getting poke by them and it hurts them. I emailed the park's department and they said they'd take care of it and its been around a month now and they still haven't removed them

Really clean and the kids had fun and there is also pavilions to have parties tou can also see the fireworks here on the forth of july if you don't want to go all the way down to vets park

This park has ample room for kids too play.Picnic tables. One large grill, two large play grounds with safe underneath ground. A large open field where softball, frisbee, ect can be played. There is large dirt hill for bike riding.This park is in honor of Nate Down Mr Santa Claus

this nice little park is wonderful, my only complaint that leads me to downgrade by one star is that the trails have not been maintained recently. There are both gravel and dirt trails. One of the dirt trails has a very large puddle in it that was impassible. There are plenty of benches around and a large pond as well as a small pond with lots of frog pads etc to enjoy. There is not much cover from trees: You're mostly walking under the sun so don't forget your sunscreen and a hat. I hope they maintain this place soon so that every trail can be enjoyed! Enjoy

Great little place to get a dose of Nature! Hammocks were up last summer and my friends and I loved it! I visit quite frequently and always find something new to appreciate. However I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 5 for two reasons - 1.) The highway is a little too close and the constant sound of traffic takes away from the nature experience (can't be helped). 2.) A lot of clear cutting was done and it doesn't appear that there's any plans to make use of the muddy dredged up space. I'm still sad about the clear cutting that was done near the Mallard pond, the township has left it a complete mess and it was by far my favorite portion of the walk when it was still grown up.

Very nice walking trail park right off I-75 in Bay City. I went for some walking in the early morning, and the sunrise 🌄 was beautiful. There is a lot of nature in these trails like birds, rabbits and squirrels. The one minor downside is you can hear the highway, but the views are peaceful.

Beautiful park. Nice trails. The Hammock hotel is awesome. Tons of fishing spots if that's your thing. So much wildlife in this decently small park.

Lovely little spot for a walk, 30-45 minutes around the lake leisurely. Freshly graveled path mostly, a small wooden plank path partially around the lake.

Cool park! It's kept in great shape too! I like coming here in the morning to jog. There are main trails and some smaller trails as well. I reccomend if you want a chill place to go!

A great stop near the hwy for some exercise. All trails are filled with gravel. Well kept and maintained. Great place for fishing.

No watering stations. Waste not managed, not picked up by owners (more waste disposal stations would be helpful), dogs unattended. We were really disappointed at the quality of the park, and we're not able to use the large dog space, due to dogs left unattended.

Great dog park! Visiting out of town needed a place to stop by and stretch our legs. The safety with the amount of gates was wonderful. Small and large dog areas always a bonus

4 aggressive dogs in the big dog park and the owners were not concerned. We had to abandon taking our dog to the park.

Lots of space for your fur babies to play. There are separate areas for large and small dogs.Not much shade.

I recently took my boys here. There is a midsized enclosed area for small dogs and a larger one for those of us who love our giants. However, be responsible and take care of your pet's waste as that's entirely on the owner, *not the park!!!

Great place to take your dog if you don't have a fenced in backyard and want them to be able to run.

It's a really nice dog park. I think the biggest thing that makes this park great though is the regular visitors that really are passionate about dogs. There are lots of friendly and helpful people at this park that have helped me learn a lot.

One branch of the family had a reunion and discussion about the house and area. They also traced their genealogy. Little children played outside.

This is a great piece of history. I am part of the Olde Thyme Herb Society and we meet here spring through fall and care for the garden in front of the building.
