I visited on a very hot summer day and unfortunately many of the animals were either hiding in the shade or sleeping, which made it harder to see them. I was especially excited to see the polar bears, but they were resting during my visit. The zoo itself is quite large, and it can easily take half a day to explore all the different sections. I think going in the fall would be a better experience since the weather is cooler and the animals are likely to be more active and visible. Despite the heat, I really enjoyed walking through the different areas, and my favorite part of the zoo was definitely the Africa section with its wide variety of animals and beautiful setting. Overall, it was a fun visit and I would recommend it, but the timing of the season can make a big difference in what you get to see.

Along with all the animal facilities, the zoo also has a splash pad that opens in spring and closes in the first weeks of fall, a zip line, a carousel, and souvenir shops. The tour is very cool, and everyone is sure to be delighted.

Maps and amenities are available throughout the park so it’s easy to navigate. Plenty of rest stops, washrooms and snack shacks to keep everyone on track and enjoying the experience. Animals are plentiful and varied. Lots to see and learn. Overall, I would recommend to friends and family and would come back.

It’s a great hiking spot! I couldn’t see some animals because they were constantly hiding. Definitely needs some good navigation app as the app was misleading. It’s nice and has a lot of resting areas and picnic spots. Also there are some restaurants inside. The ticket was a little expensive compared to what the place is offering.

I haven't been to the zoo in 30 years! My one year old grandchild was in awe and it brought back wonderful memories of visiting with his mother. I loved how clean it was and the hospital was pretty amazing. The staff were most helpful too. A great day had by all.

Lots of beautiful trails, Vista & Mast are the popular trails. Fall season is the best time to visit. Do not expect many benches or seating in the trails. Bring your own water bottles as I did not see any drinking water provisions.

We did the mass trailhead trail. The parking lot was half full at 10:30am. We went at 1pm before and there was not one spot. So go in the morning. The parking lot closes at 9pm. Parking is free. The trail is a dirt path and it’s well marked. There was mosquitoes so wear bug spray. We went May 20. There was a few hills and some log steps -40 something. It’s not a suitable trail for bikes or strollers. I would definitely go back.

The park boasts with diverse landscape including lush forest, serene meadows, wetlands, Rouge River. I did two trail Vista & Mast trail that offers scenic views & natural beauty. You can enjoy bird watching, canoeing, fishing & picnic. Easy accessible with TTC, well-maintained facilities, big parking lot & washrooms available at spot. Exceptional outdoor experience even on hot sunny days.

Nice and scenic place within 30 minutes of Toronto. We primarily went for fishing and walking trails. Link to the lake is beautiful. Small area for fishing but there are opportunities to catch. But it gets crowded quick and then the lines are going crossing each other. We ended up moving to northern side of the rouge river and that worked out better. Beautiful hiking / walking trails.

Amazing park. Natural wilderness. Lots of parking space, paths are clean, natural,, no garbage around. Great for hiking, jogging, walking through the woods. Our favourite park. We always return. Every single year.

This National park is close to Toronto Zoo area. It's quiet and nice area for a relaxing hike or bike ride without going too far out of the city; great place to get away from the city within the city. Truly lovely for a trek, so much wonder to see, Vista trail. Lovely natural habitat, lots of trails of all grades, close to public transit and zoo. Kids will love it too. There are hills and the ravine. Safe and peaceful park for all, Not to busy! Beautiful hike in the summer and there is a great hill for tobogganing in the winter. Definitely give it a visit!

It’s been so many years since I last visited Pacific Mall, and it was great to be back! We went during the Canada Day weekend, so as expected, it was super packed, especially the upstairs food court area – made it a bit hard to browse around. Parking can definitely be frustrating, but we got lucky and found a good spot by turning right instead of left – highly recommend trying that route! Most of the stores carry similar items, so if you know what you’re looking for, going in and out is totally doable. Don’t forget to bargain – it doesn’t hurt! Some vendors are really easygoing and will actually honour the price you ask for. There was a long line-up for the waffles and bubble tea upstairs, so I skipped it this time. But a big shoutout to the super clean washrooms downstairs – there’s always someone cleaning right after you’re done. Overall, it’s still a fun spot to check out, even just for the vibes and variety. Worth a visit if you’re in the area! 😛😛

Such a great mall to browse around! It feels like back to HK. If u want to buy sun glasses , optical or contact lens. Come here as over 15 different optical stores. Very competitive!

Came here to get my keys cut and she was very friendly with my questions. The mall has great food and somewhat decent prices at their stores. My rating goes to the overall mall but would give the key place a 5/5 for service and prices.

Came during the summer carnival — such a fun experience! There were lots of food stalls, a big crowd, and an awesome festive vibe all around. They even had dancing performances and a magic show, which made it even more lively. Great place to hang out with friends or family. Would definitely come again!

It used to be Chinese people go to place for shopping, eating, family fun. But now it is 30% smaller because the City Square was dismantled, what a pity. But it is still a good fun place to go occasionally.

Parking was avilable as long as you can walk further out. Finding a table to enjoy your food is a different story. If you buy be prepared to ask for takeout. You have to fight for a table to enjoy your meal. The booths in main floor mimic Chinese mall and owners seem eager for business by greeting you at the entrance. Mall has variety of shops to enjoy from. You would not be bore when you visit here. If they fix the food court issue it will be perfect.

Pacific Mall was quite a disappointing experience. The entrance is poorly designed—very inconvenient if you’re with a stroller. The only elevator access is through the basement parking, which was completely full, forcing us to park outside. From there, the doorways leading to the elevator were extremely narrow and difficult to navigate. Most of the shops are local vendors with limited variety and nothing that really stood out. Overall, the mall lacks proper infrastructure and quality retail options. Not a place I’d recommend for a comfortable shopping visit.

Chinese plaza located along Kennedy Road close to highway 407. There's lots of places to eat here. Parking can be challenging as the outdoor parking lot is rather small, but they have 2 levels of underground parking which is nice during the winter. There's a large T&T supermarket which is their anchor store. 2nd floor has some smaller shops such as nail salons, cell phone repair, fast food, travel agents, etc. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

it is a very convenient Plaza with the wide variety of stores. It is located on Kennedy South of Highway 7. there are lot of parking above ground and underground. I love going to the Langham square lunch, dinner, breakfast, bubble teas, desserts and/ or groceries. It is a very convenience Plaza that you can get everything here.

A neat plaza with food to tickle all Asian fancies. From amazing soups, bakeries and bubble tea, to getting new glasses and latest kitches. The plaza above ground parking can be a nightmare with drivers impatient to let you out, however there is plenty of underground parking with access via escalator or elevator to the main level. Accessible parking is marked, however includes curbs, no ramped areas, and doors that open where you were on the side. So not so accessible without bringing your loved one around the parking lot despite parking in front of the establishment.

This plaza has more than 15 different types of restaurants for you to choose from. Most of them are good but just the parking is horrible. There is a TnT supermarket at the ground floor. At the second floor, there are many little shops from clothing to eat. I personally like the cake shop, their cakes are very well designed and cute.

A welcome addition to the west side of South Unionville, some retail therapy to bring some life into urban sprawl. Not a lot of parking due to busy periods but the whole point of a neighbourhood mall is for neighbours to walk to it than drive anyway. The T&T anchor is likely the least busy T&T location anywhere in the GTA and is a delight to shop in. Lots of food and dessert choices too.

Got the Thai style fried rice and unfortunately it’s one of the worst type of fried rice I’ve had ever. They used some kind of strange spice which had a bad after taste. I’ve never had bad fried rice and didn’t think it was possible to mess up such a basic dish. Don’t recommend fried rice at this place. Maybe the other food are better.

I don't go to Pacific Mall very often these days, especially to eat, but when I do, Sun's Kitchen is my go-to place. Their food is always freshly cooked and delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. This time, I had Beef with Bitter Melon and it was very tasty. My friend had the Sweet and Sour Pork Cutlet and that was really yummy, with a nice crispy texture. Both dishes were cooked to order, and delicious good! Check out Sun's Kitchen the next time you're at Pacific Mall in Markham!

I went to this restaurant once and wasn’t very satisfied. The quality of the food was below average, and the portion size and price didn’t match well. The staff were very friendly, and although there is parking available, you have to look around to find a seat. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even to try once.

I ordered the chicken and noodles in sesame sauce (number 32). The chicken had that gross day-old chicken flavour, there wasn't enough sauce, and the noodles on the bottom were slimy. Will not be returning.

Another one of those stay-light-before-the-movie meals, and we decided to check out Kore Chicken nearby. We went for the lunch special and tried Original, Soy Garlic, and Spicy Butter Chicken, with fries tossed in Honey Butter seasoning for one of the sets. I had no idea what to expect walking in, and was honestly surprised to learn they use air fryers here. Now, taste-wise, let's be real. I’ve had better fried chicken elsewhere and yes, there are spots that push a bit more in quality. But here's the catch: at this price point, it’s rather impossible to complain. Sure, the sauce toss was lazy, and a few bites were a bit on the funky-smelling side, but it all somehow landed within the range of “worth it.” Fries were a lot crispier than expected, and so was the batter. Air fried or not, the texture really surprised me. It’s weirdly satisfying. Getting into the place was also a bit awkward for a first-timer, but I’ll chalk that up to the building’s layout, not the restaurant’s fault. Overall, it’s one of those spots that feels like a random find, and turns out a lot better than you gave it credit for at first. No complaints here, and honestly hope they stick around. I wouldn’t mind coming back when craving something easy and affordable that still hits the spot!

This hidden gem was so good, the lady was the sweetest and made me feel right at home, chicken was AIR fried to the have the perfect crunch and maintain the juiciness of the chicken. We got the honey butter and the Spicy Korean Specialty Sauce. No need for any more word this picture should tell you enough how good it was (so good forgot to take a before 😅) not to mention it’s halal for the Muslims :)

This place definitely feels like an ‘if you know you know’ kind of place. Tucked in the lower parking garage of Langham Square, this fried chicken restaurant is unique in the fact that they use an air fryer for their fried chicken. Their chicken and fries are pretty good. The owners are really nice & their restaurant feels very homey & is very clean. The keep the outer door closed, so you have to enter through the parking garage entrance. They offer lunch specials & are also on ubereats for those who just need a quick pick up!

Tried Kore for the first time because it said it air fried its chicken, but unfortunately it is a bit misleading because the chicken is deep fried first, and then air fried(confirmed by owner), so if you think it is a healthier option it isn’t completely. The owner is nice and honest at least, there is no deep frying equipment on site so the deep fried chicken might be frozen and air fried on order. I love Korean fried chicken but this one is too dry inside. It’s not terrible but doesn’t compare to the typical Korean fried chicken.

I tried the Korean seasoned chicken here and it was excellent — crisp on the outside, and packed with flavour on the inside. The space itself was also really nice — clean, bright, and comfortable, which made it a great place to sit down and enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for good Korean fried chicken.

We arrived 15 minutes ahead of our reservation, and our table was ready for us, which was appreciated. The service was remarkable—both warm and welcoming. Our food arrived in under 10 minutes after ordering, which was pleasantly surprising. We ordered the mushroom pasta, seafood pasta, and a Parma pizza, all of which were quite enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to serve the dishes at a slightly warmer temperature.

Never have I ever had a more positive experience than I did last night at this beautiful restaurant. Myself, my two cousins and our spouses all got together for a long overdue dinner.The service was just unmatched. The atmosphere was fantastic. The specialty drinks that were on the menu for the night were phenomenal. The red wine we ordered with dinner was spectacular. The bread, the appetizers and then the meal were beyond delicious. Our entire table enjoyed dessert as well as after dinner lattes, cappuccinos and coffees as well. But really it was the feeling that we had while we were there. We were so incredibly well taken care of. It was the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant in the picturesque area of Unionville to anyone! If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would!

The complimentary bread was freshly made in-house and tasted great. The outdoor patio had a lovely atmosphere, but the online reservation system only gave us the option to book standard or bar seating. I’d love to know how to reserve a table outside next time! The pasta and steak were both delicious — definitely recommended. The mushroom pizza was just okay. We also ordered the chocolate cake — the portion was huge, definitely enough for three people! It was a bit too sweet for us, and we couldn’t finish it.

Great experience at Il Postino! The service was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is quite small, but very cozy and warm! It was the perfect vibe for a cold, rainy, fall evening. We ordered the mozzarella caprese, the Tagliatelle Ragu, and the Pappardelle Funghi. Our mozzarella caprese was served with the most crisp tomatoes, and went perfectly with the complimentary bread, and the pasta was hot and fresh! The food was delicious, and I will definitely be returning! We were running a little late for our reservation because we had trouble finding the parking lot, but the staff were very accommodating and seated us right away. 10/10 for the service alone!

We came for dinner. The restaurant was very nice. We love to sit at the patio, but it was quite a wait so we ended up sitting inside. Mushroom truffle pizza was so delicious. Love the steak too we asked for medium rare. We got medium rare. The chocolate double fudge cake was delicious too. The server are very friendly. We all enjoyed the food and service very much. I recommend this place.

We were having dinner while Main St was closed for renovations. We sat on the patio. We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pastas and a salad. The pizzas and pastas were good. Salad was okay. Service was good. The main parking lot was too small and I had to park at a nearby library.

The portions are generous, and the quality is consistently great. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that wait times can sometimes be a bit long during peak hours. Eating there now and there was a BLADE in my mom's food. I know it must just be an accident but I am still very upset because the highest level of care is owed to customers. Very sad as I can't even count the number of times we've eaten here over the years. Safe to say that we won't be back again.

My family and I were visiting from the United States and were looking for a local restaurant that served real Afghan cuisine--and Bamiyan Kabob exceeded our expectations. Heads-up to fellow Americans: If you're visiting from the United States, bring Canadian cash! Credit and debit cards issued in the United States are not accepted here. Nonetheless, the staff was really helpful and attentive while explaining their payment procedure. They walked me through the alternatives with no haste or attitude, which made the experience even more inviting. I ordered the Sultani Plate, which included a skewer of tender koobideh and a perfectly grilled barg kabob. The meat was juicy, tasty, and beautifully grilled. The rice was buttery and fragrant, and the side salad provided a welcome fresh crunch. My wife and kids chose the Chicken Chapli Kabab Plate, and we were all impressed. The patties were juicy, seasoned just right, and went perfectly with the rice and naan. It's a terrific choice for both adults and children, as it's tasty but not overly spicy. We also got Mango Shakes and bottled water. The shakes were thick and creamy, with a tropical sweetness that complemented the savory foods well. A terrific way to calm down and finish the meal. Atmosphere-wise, the setting was clean, family-friendly, and busy--but service was efficient. You could tell this place is popular among locals, and for good reason. Whether you're a local or a guest, Bamiyan Kabob is a must-stop for anyone looking for hearty, tasty Afghan cuisine delivered with real friendliness. Just don't forget your Canadian dollars!

There is lots of parking, and this restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean, and so was the washrooms. The food was very fresh and tasty. The kabobs were some of the best around, barbequed just right. The red sauce for dipping is super tasty too. This is a really good restaurant, I will be coming back.

This location is the best bamiyan location. Always fresh, good portion size and don’t charge you extra for sauce. Stay away from the Pickering and Vaughan locations

It’s amazing how magic reveals itself when we least expect. I went to this plaza so many times, mostly it was for Go Place, shopping, entertainment grocery and restaurants. I have never came in First Markham Place until 2 weeks ago. On that day my friends and I wanted to go to different destinations but it turned out in the same address. And to be completely honest, it was love as first sight ❤️ I loved the color, the calm atmosphere even the sellers & customers. The sellers didn’t seem to push and very kind in explaining stuff (I don’t speak Chinese) The vibe is nostalgic and bright. I almost got a little bit of everything. A mukbang. Sometime I got anxiety in place where people speak foreign language or do some hectic moves with the calculation or money. I completely felt serene here. The food is about 6-8/10 if you ask me. Some stalls offer truly great cuisine whereas some are only doing okay. I won’t say it here 😉 Overall this FMP provides quite a variety of goods, products & food. I would suggest you try Eggette, Frutti Mix (their pear ice w/kiwi is my fav), BBQ (both stores) has juicy chicken and roasted pork. The place seems to have solid customer base. On Sunday there was a very long line of customers waiting to be served… Sometime it doesn’t matter where you eat or what you consume, though these are important at times. Sometime you just want to feel the vibe and take all in, a part of the experience, where all is one and one is all. I found that in FMP when I needed it ❤️

This is a FASCINATING place. Firstly, the surrounding restaurants all look fantastic. The claw machine place is really neat. The grocery store is awesome. And the spa... changed my life! The interior mall itself has so many different little shoos to pop into. For the traveling geek, there's a dedicated Pokemon TCG store, and two toy / figure shops across from each other with lots of stuff based on comics, manga, anime, movies, and video games.

Wow! Truly surprised at how you are transported to an Asian world. All stores and restaurants are all Asian. It literally has hundreds of stores and so so many Asian eateries. In the food court, there are half a dozen BBQ places but two of them have long long lineups when we were there. Prices are still down to earth here for a meal. Negative: tough to find parking despite the size of the lot.

A catch-all mall. If you are looking for a place that has a super market, a food court (which has a variety of Asian cuisine), hair/nail salons, dry Chinese ingredients/herbs, badminton/sports gear, skincare items, glasses stores, toys/cards stores all in one... FMP is your best bet. Love the little Halloween decorations they had up :) ! Plus that's not even including what's on the outer circle of First Markham Place which has even more diversity in food options and even a claw machine place!

When we came to this mall, there's light shower. But once we got into the mall, we could freely navigate around different shops and food stalls with the sheltered corridor.

Lots of amazing food and shops here, but parking is a nightmare during busy hours. I really wish it could be easier to find a spot because this place is worth visiting!

My sister and I went and we really enjoyed ourselves. The service is really great. The steam room wasn't working when we went on the womens side but everything else was really wonderful. The sauna rooms are beautiful. The people working are helpful. Clean. You cannot wear your own shoes or slippers so we used gym shoes provided and we purchased slippers to walk around in. We didnt pay for any extra services but I do plan to go back and do that. We didn't eat so I can't comment on food. Gym area was good enough. Location was easy to get to and find off hwy 7.

I visited this spa for a bachelorette party a few months ago, and it was such an interesting and fun experience! The place is beautifully decorated — chic, elegant, and very well organised. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and everything feels spotless and thoughtfully arranged. I tried the deep tissue massage with the therapist Ana, and it was excellent — I highly recommend her! She was professional, attentive, and made the whole experience truly relaxing. The food was tasty and fairly priced, which was a nice bonus. The only downside for me is that all the pools are separated, so there’s no shared area for couples — it would be great if they added a mixed jacuzzi or pool. Another negative point is that guests are not allowed to give tips to the therapists, and if you use insurance, the price is double — which I think is a bit excessive. Apart from that, everything else was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this spa for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

I have been going to go place since they opened in 2019. I must say that the service is always always impeccable. The cleanliness is what you would expect to find in a 5+ star establishment. I’m sure people will find it in them to disagree with the fact that you can’t bring in your own slippers and clothes but it just adds to the fact that they take great pride in cleanliness and uniformity. The food is always fantastic. I have tried pretty much everything on their menu without one complaint or disappointment. I do, however remember they’re being a pork bone broth with noodles and they unfortunately will not substitute the rice for noodles, but that is my biggest issue and with that I am completely satisfied. They have L’Occitane body and hair products and every imaginable vanity item you may need including Dyson hair dryers, perfume, miceller water and moisturizer. Whether you were looking for a solo relaxation, date night, or girls trip this is the perfect spot to spend a day or even an evening. I have prolonged this review for so long because I saw how quickly it was gaining popularity, but I absolutely had to vouch for one of my favourite spots in the city.

Great location and great service. The perfect place to go for a 24 hour spa retreat. Super relaxing and a variety of different rooms and vibes in order for you to really indulge in some self-care. There were also pools and hot tubs which we could not photograph, but even they were very lovely and very spacious as well. You definitely need to see this for yourself.!

I had a wonderful experience at GoPlace in Markham. The place was very clean and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. I got a massage from a lady named Anna, and she was extremely nice and professional. I left feeling completely refreshed. Just a note , the sauna and pool areas are separated by gender, so it’s more enjoyable to visit with friends rather than as a couple.

The theater itself is beautifully laid out with super comfortable upholstered seating. Much thinking of frail seniors went into the design of this theater with handrails at the end of each row. The staff themselves are mindful of the mobility issues with some seniors and extremely helpful in assisting with the seating. All in all it was pure enjoyment to sit in this very well run and modern theater. I had the privilege of attending a phenomenal Japanese drumming performance by the esteemed group Yamato. The production values were exceptionally high, and the theater's excellent acoustics enhanced the overall experience. The performers displayed remarkable expertise, captivating me with their skill. The intensity of their performance was such that I found myself completely absorbed, unable to divert my attention. Furthermore, the performers facilitated audience engagement, creating a unique and captivatingly fun experience. Ultimately, it was a truly exceptional five-star performance.

4 of us very much enjoyed the music of Lighthouse here. The entire band was talented and performed very well. The sound was very good which made the whole experience an enjoyable evening!

A nice, very clean theatre with lots of free parking. There is not a bad seat in the house from what I can tell. My only issue, and this is also in so many other seated venues, is that you are expected to sit through the show. Yeah, that's fine when seeing a comedian or a play; but difficult when seeing a good rocking live band. I'm sure it isn't as much fun for the band either, rocking out the tunes, and the crowd is just sitting there through the whole set.

Gone for a few private events and sat in different seats. It seems like every seat is a good seat. Always attended concerts and the sound is amazing. Parking is easy and plentiful.

It's a medium sized theatre. The ambiance is very nice. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed it very much. There is lots of great free parking directly across from the theatre.

A traditional old Hong Kong style congee place in Toronto. I love their congee very much. Their breakfast side dishes are delicious, too. I love their background wall showing their old location in Hong Kong with a long bench. It feels nostalgic that the waiting people are sitting on the bench like waiting in front of their old location which brought us a lot of memories.

This place serves pretty standard Hong Kong-style congee. Overall, it was decent and nothing particularly special. But there were so many people waiting in line… I honestly don’t quite get why. lol

Congee is good and able to recall good old time HK taste, spacious restarant, food portion is generally quite basic on this price.

Solid place for congee. Line was long when we arrived but turnover is pretty fast - our party of 3 got seated in about 20 minutes. After ordering, our congees came within minutes. Portions are decent for one person, probably too small to share. Congee had a good amount of meat in it and was very tasty. Their dough fritter was soo crispy! We saw that you order dough fritter by individual piece so we ordered two thinking it would be standard single fritters. They're more like double pieces though so we definitely could have just ordered one. We also ordered a beef rice noodle roll which was nothing special. Overall, a good experience though and we'll be adding Sam's to our congee rotation!

If you want to eat noodle soup, this is a good choice. The soup base is not too salty and their flavored Malay Thai chili sauce is delicious! The only thing I think needs to be improved is the chicken, which has no flavor and the portion is too small!

One of the many great food options in First Markham Place. I got the Char Kway Teow which was very tasty and a great portion for the price. Great Malay and Southeast Asian dishes served here and everything is prepared fresh to order.

One of our favorite Malaysian restaurants and go to stall in first Markham Place food court. The Char Koay Teow and Nyonya Laksa are two of our favorite dishes. Portion size is quite generous as well! Their food is always served piping hot and extremely flavorful. The flavour is reasonably authentic with good wok hei! 🔥

Been here again today, very consistent quality, still the best laksa in town! Absolutely the best laksa in Toronto! Really love it. This is my Laksa go to place! The fact that it’s in a food court, there ain’t any atmosphere at all 🤣🤣🤣

As a Malaysian, I've tried many Malaysian restaurant that is available in Canada. By far for the Char Kwey Teow. It's not going to be the most authentic but is it the closest one I've had out of any locations. Brings back memories 😊. Staff is friendly and nice!

Thai food and quite a few other noodle dishes on offer. Reasonably priced with a big plate of Pad Thai. Pretty good tasting. Friendly and efficient staff. Cooking took under ten minutes on a Saturday around 11am. Updated Apr 2025 Had the Malaysian noodles and they were good, a few shrimp and chicken added to the noodles. A big plate for $12.40.

I could only give 2-3 stars if focus on the food quality. It’s not really bad but the fry noodle is way too salty and a bit over cooked. Laksa noodle is quite spicy, taste is fine but not excellent. Price is ok, around $10 each dish. Owner couple is friendly. I hope can change the spoon- The tiny spoon is not even able to carry 1pc of noodle 🙄……

100/5 for service. I went to KAKA All You Can Eat in Markham andwas impressed by both the quality and variety of the dishes. Everything came out fresh and beautifully plated — especially the sushi and sashimi spreads. Our servers, Christina and Claire, were absolutely wonderful: happy, sweet, and informative, constantly checking in to make sure we were satisfied. The atmosphere was lively but still felt comfortable and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the more organized and attentive AYCE spots in the GTA. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for quality sushi and great service at an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

I've been to many a AYCE sushi / bar food place, and let me tell you... this one may have the coolest interior design. But you're not here for that. "How's the food," you ask? ...AWESOME. For how quick it all arrives after ordering, it was all made with care. SO good. Special shout out to the fatty salmon pieces, i don't think i've had anything like that: crispy on the bottom, BUTTER salmon goodness atop, so make sure you give it a try!

I came here on a Saturday night and it was busy busy! But their service was still quick and friendly! Sushi was fresh, they have a special menu on weekend but its only 1 order per person, I think it is because they are more expensive. I got the scallop sushi and it was phenomenal. Their skewers and tempura are also a must try! Super tasty and tbh their pricing is cheaper than other ayce in toronto. RECOMMEND!

Their sushi platter is one of the best ones I've ever had! The fish was incredibly fresh and I really appreciate their creativity in torched sushi! Usually at other restaurants, their either put too much rice or it is too sour, but KAKA sushi's is perfectly seasoned. In terms of the pricing, it is an surprising cheap option compared to other restaurants in Markham. Their sushi platter is also a great choice for family gatherings! Last time I brought it, it was gone in minutes! If you ever are craving sushi and are in Markham, this is definitely your best option! Will go again!

Not bad, but far from being the best AYCE places I’ve been to. The salmon oshizushi is the best dish here (and it’s quite refreshing and tasty). I did not like most of the other snacks/appetizers. The soy sauce they give out is quite nice doe - I wonder if it’s home made. It has a very in depth flavour of bonito/dashi. I’d come back not for the AYCE, but cheaper alternatives for rolls to pair it with their soy sauce. Service was very mid. Vibe was meh, like other big ayce restaurants.

I don’t understand the hype with this sushi place. It’s just known for torched sushi, but the food overall was mediocre. Lots of ayce sushi places cut corners and do not offer the highest quality of ingredients in food anymore. It’s one of the lowest quality of ayce sushi I’ve had recently. The food was not tasty, did not seem fresh.

Ordered the 24 piece torched sushi to try them out. Really mediocre torched pressed rolls with waaaaay too much mayonnaise on top and waaay too much rice. I normally love torched sushi but have to say I lost my interest after a few pieces. Even the honey mustard roll was meh - they put the wrong sauce on top as well. Two crab meat sticks in this roll felt like a sort of cheap out.

Their promotion required a coupon from previous dinning without any notification to their registered member and a feedback survey. The store manager claimed we need to keep tracking their promotion on Facebook. Ah..... Frustration. Also, you can see what I found in the bowl of soup. This type of ingredient should not be shown in a disk of cooking. It is not the proper cooking as a commercial dinning restaurant.

First time here to this chain restaurant. This particular location is a bit confusing from the outside as it looks to be shared w8th another restaurant maybe? Anyways staff is just there really. Food was good. Noodles come w8th unlimited noodles. I had the braised chicken which was nice and flavourful. Will definitely return because I wanted to try the unlimited noodles and definitely recommend to those who like chicken and rice or noodles to give this place a try!

It was our first time eating here. QR code to view and order from online menu. Seating inside for about 20 people and during our lunch there were a lot of takeout/pickup orders. We ordered a few signature dishes and hand pulled noodles with a few appetizers all arrived within 10 minutes. The signature dishes came out bubbling hot and hand pulled noodles with braised chicken was very rich with flavor. The popcorn chicken, the spicy and criapy pork ribs and sliced cold chili beef were a delight to eat... We very much enjoyed our lunch and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Food served fast and hot. Their signature Braised Chicken Rice was decent. It was filling and tasted good. We also tried their other side dishes. Overall experience was good.

Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.

Small restaurant, good for a quick bite. Limited choice of main course. Order take out from restaurant, taste of chicken and beef rice is OK, but No surprise. Like the appetizer, sliced beef (夫妻肺片& 延邊牛肉) which taste really good.

This was my first time trying Cravins. I was simply looking to take out. My first impression when I walked in I was greeted by good vibe music. It has a nice atmosphere but there was no hot food nor service at the front desk. Not a good look in my opinion. After about a minute or two, a dark skin woman in her 20s came to serve me. She wasn't very friendly when I asked a few questions about whether or not I could get two meats in a dinner plate and the size options. After I placed my order, she went to the back to put everything together. You cannot visually see any food being prepared. I order an ox tail dinner which comes with rice and peas and coleslaw. It was tasty and served hot. The meat portion was on the smaller size but over it was filled with all that rice. Overall, I'd give this place 3.5/5. There are better places to be had. The price was average and fair.

As a west indian, it’s so hard finding quality west indian food having moved to markham. But I only saw this place on my walk and WOW so glad I stepped in. Their curry goat was ON POINT! Dunno about their other stuff, but if you can make a propa’ curry goat? There is serious culinary skills going in their kitchen 👌. Will definitely return! Service was welcoming and accomodating 🙂

Good portions and Good Vibes. The food was a bit under seasoned, but It had the right components for the dishes. This is a great spot for sensitive eaters. They also have a different lunch special everyday that ends at 3pm be sure to check it out.

Food was exceptional. Oxtails very tender with spices done just how i like it, salty with a good amount of kick. Some do it sweet and I'm usually not a fan. Roti was a little to saucy but flavor and skin was great. Jerk chicken had a nice kick to it, but not overpowering. The decor needs a bit work, too dark and hot. It looked like the place was closed if it weren't for the OPEN sign. Will definitely be coming to this joint when i need my carribean fix. Should be 3.5 star!!!!

The same old restaurant, it just got a new sign. Staffs are very friendly and positive with full of happy energy, portions are huge no matter what you get, and foods are delicious. Please ask for hot sauce, it is worthy to challenge!

First time here and I ordered jerk chicken large meal, curried goat large meal, oxtail and chicken soup. It was all soooo yummy and portions are really generous. It was even a hit with the kids, despite the spiciness in the chicken. Definitely putting this on our dinner takeout rotation.

What a beautiful pond and park. This is a great spot for a quick walk. You can easily walk around the pond perimeter easily within an hour. Rich in vegetation with a little creek, a partial boardwalk, playground and restrooms, this pond park definitely lives up to its name. It’s TOO GOOD!!!💚💙💚💙💚

So beautiful sky and the snow. I can meet the snowman ☃️ Nice Place but it is too windy and feel cold. I spend around 15 mins to walk. There are two car parks in different side.

We parked at 280 Main Street. That’s the beginning of the park and where you’ll find the pond. And the washrooms. The washrooms don’t have any signs on the door. There is a lookout over the pond. We saw a man fishing. You can park at 218 Main Street but that’s a busier parking lot and it’s the end of the park. But closer to downtown Unionville. Parking is free. Lots of Canadian geese at the entrance. It’s a pretty clean and well groomed park. There’s benches and a few picnic tables. The park actually goes in a roundabout. We saw a double crested cormorant and four turtles in the pond. There were some mosquitoes out. But it’s a nice park with 2 lookouts.We did not see any play grounds. And dogs have to be leashed. I would definitely return. And the times saying that they are closed Saturday and Sunday is not correct. I went in a Saturday around 9:00am and I know someone who went on a Sunday. So those times need to be changed.

Did not go to Too Good Pond for over 10 years. Quite some changes. All the trees grow much bigger and taller. It used to have A pretty open view of the pond when people walking along the trails. However, the view is now blocked by the grown-up trees. Anyway, strolling along the trail or resting on the benches would get A good shade. The place is still quiet and beautiful.

We came here for a nice walk and to see the fall leaves as they changed colour. It was the second second Saturday in October and today was a mix of clouds, sun and was a bit chilly. There was a few different walking trails to choose from and we choose the one that went around the pond. As you can see by the photos, the change of cloudy/cold to sunny/warm was a perfect fall day to share time with my grand daughter and family. This trail took about 1 hour and was perfect for us, we did take our time and to let our 2 year old grand daughter run/walk around and explore. She enjoyed it very much and kept everyone busy following her. There are 2 parking lots, 1 in the east side of the pond and other was at the South-West corner of it, closer to Main St. Parking was not too bad today but during busy days it can get full and spill out to the side roads/streets. There is burger and ice cream plece (east parking) here but I think it is closed for the season but the public washrooms are open. There are longer walking trails to choose from but maybe I will try one by myself and explore the surroundings. There were people fishing here but was not sure if there were doing catch and release fishing or not. I also came here during winter and it is also a great place to spend the time outdoors...

Been built for 10 years, but still feels very modern. They have a large gym for hosting various activities and competitions. The swimming pool is Olympic size. They also have a gym. The parking lot is very large, so you'll always be able to get a spot. There are also EV Chargers available. York University is being built right next door.

Lots of washrooms and pockets in change rooms. I rated this lower as maintenance within the washrooms and showers seems to be lacking. I came here for the BWF Yonex Canada Open and the transformation and overall cleanliness of the facility was great.

First time playing here and this place is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you drive up, to the club house, restaurant and course the staff was amazing. To my surprise the range bucket was at no extra charge. The friendly staff was helpful loading/unloading clubs and even hard the cart girl out there a few times. The course was in great shape. Challenging and very tough greens. Overall a great place to play at a reasonable price. Can’t say enough good things, will definitely be back again

We truly cannot imagine a better place to have had our wedding than Angus Glen Golf Club. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Nice golf course has 2 18 hole courses north and south. Friendly staff work there. The gold carts have gps which should be a given for the price of this course. The food is pretty good at the main restaurant with an assortment of food and drink options. Some ppl just drop by for the dining options

Short version: rude bully Marshalls, poor condition, don’t bother coming. Came here with some level of expectation considering the price point of $192, the grass is very dry and yellow, uneven greens and raggedy tees. But that’s ok, since it’s our first time here so maybe they’ve been behind on the water bill this month. We finish the first 9 holes with no problem, always keeping the group in front in sight and holding a respectful distance. We finish the 9th hole relatively fast and decide to go to the washroom back at the clubhouse. The break was 5 minutes, 2 of us went to the 10th hole first to tee off after buying a drink. As we exit the clubhouse, a Marshall came up to us and said leaving the 9th hole to go to the clubhouse was not allowed and now they need to check to see if we can even play the 10th hole because we’ve stalled everyone behind and the group behind us has already finished and need to tee off now. We apologize but was a little confused as we saw the group behind us still on the 9th hole green and said we went to the washroom, only to be told off saying it doesn’t matter, we can’t leave our round. He then told us to wait while he called another Marshall, said we can go tee off the 10th and need to hurry up because we’re the ones holding everyone back. We go to the 10th only to find our friends still waiting for the group in front. We have never been to a golf course that had employees with such bad attitude, management, and communication. If washroom breaks were not allowed after the 9th hole and groups cannot jump queue then the starter should’ve mentioned something. We are definitely not coming back and recommend players to not even bother coming here to waste their time and money. 2 stars so this review does not get automatically removed.

Played north course two weeks ago and south course today. Fairway - north course was better maintained; south course, on some holes, the grass was dead, mostly brown in the middle of fairway, and the rough was more like desert land. Green - north course green was pretty slow when I played; south course green speed was fine, but people played here need to stop dragging their feet on the green! Tee box - in good shape! Price - Makes more sense to book on GolfNow if you are a GolfNow member, probably get 25% off from full price from time to time. $180+tax for a weekend round is too crazy for this condition.

Went to watch monster trucks all out. Event was good and lots of parking but better organization is required for large events. They funnelled all the cars through one entrance and exit and cars were backed up onto the main roads for 30min. If you are going to an event here, ensure you arrive early!!!

Great place. We attended an outdoor art exhibit here and bought some limited print illustrated art prints. A great venue with a great lemonade stand as well.

Markham Fair was fun, it was the last day at the fairgrounds, lot of parking, loved the crafts & seeing my friends award winning submissions, loved all the vendors who were friendly, courteous & helpful. I wish they had a Kawartha Ice cream stand too, that would have been so good. Watched a little bit of everything from the dog show, monster truck, the gymnasts etc. all in all it was great to be there

This place is trash. Located in an unnecessary roundabout, at the end of Markham's bowels. The price for the event was not worth it as there was barely anything to do. Way, way too many volunteers wandering around and doing nothing productive. Carnys running the place. Most were high on something. So much empty space wasted and all the activities were unnecessarily far apart. I will never come back here again. Such a waste of time and money.

On Easter I came here with my family🐰! The ticket is expensive. I don’t remember how much it is🎟️! Beautiful view everybody had fun!

A nice place to bring ur kids . Fun zone for Both adults and kids. Monster truck and final lay the fire works . There were couple of shows happened during the day as well. You kids will enjoyed lot . Washroom and atm service are also available there.

It's strawberry season, and they taste great. The cooked goods and especially the pies are worth the drive. Availability changes as produce is freshly ripe, so stop by often.

Today we went strawberry picking. This was our first experience and it was great. The staff was really helpful, friendly and kind. Also, their customer service was beyond excellent. Yesterday, I emailed them and Emma replied to me within less than 30 minutes. She was very knowledgeable and provided all the information and helped me to make a reservation. I highly recommend Reesor's farm.

We enjoyed a peaceful, friendly visit and loved the country vibe. Staff were welcoming, and a team member suggested a pie—fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. The pumpkin rows and tractor, the wagon piled high with pumpkins, and the red barn lined with bright mums were picture-perfect. Cute mini orange pumpkins and tidy grounds made it feel festive. Great produce, fair prices, and a relaxing stop. I recommend you to visit and enjoy, if you want to find best places to visit just follow me.

a lovely little market, perfect for autumn. there is a huge pumpkin patch, and various props to take photos with such as a scare crowand archways. the pumpkins in the field are available for picking, but the pumpkins sold at the front of the market were of better quality if you want to select from those. the corn maze attraction was beautiful and perfect for photos, with a beautiful array of pumpkins in various colours. the corn maze itself was a joy, a little bumpy so definitely wear comfortable shoes. there is a smaller maze for children and a bigger one if you want a harder challenge. the market prices itself were on the higher end for things like jam and fruits, but seeing as they're natural the price is understandable. various baked goods are available such as pies, cakes, brownies, and cookies. there is also fresh produce, and fresh corn picked daily is available to peel and purchase; one of the deals being 10 corn for 13$. corn was delicious and fresh, amazing. overall a lovely experience and a must-visit for fall!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Great selection for pick your own fruit. Just went for the first strawberry pick of the season and got so many sweet, ripe strawberries. So delicious! Staff are really nice and helpful. It was $16 for this basket to fill. Love going to the market after too for some fresh produce, jams, baked goods and more. We made matcha/hojicha strawberry lattes with the strawberries and it turned out perfect!

What a wonderful little pumpkin patch, corn maze and farmer’s markets. There was a lot of fresh local produce and ready-made treats. The pumpkin patch was not very crowded during the day and had a nice little selection, it’s great for a brisk walk and taking nice photos. Loved visiting! The staff were very friendly and there’s ample parking.

Had a nice dinner with good food and friendly service at Smash. LA Mac and Cheese was very rich, creamy and flavorful. Brisket Grilled Cheese was pretty good, though it was a little on the sweeter side for my taste. I plan to try their smash burger next time. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meals. Looking forward to the next visit to Smash!

Lunch with colleagues, they have daily specials. I ordered the Smash burger, double beef patties, with cheese just $12.00 (regular $21.00) on Wednesday. With their own Smash lager $6.00 (regular $8.00), I upgraded the sides to sweet potato fries for extra $2.50. That is a perfect lunch in a hot summer. P.S: the calamari is a must try, you can’t stop once you have the first bite.

This is a modern take on Southern American cuisine. The best dish was definitely the beef brisket hush puppies – absolutely delicious. Surprisingly, the mac & cheese came in second. I used to think I didn’t like mac & cheese, but turns out I just hadn’t tried a good one before. The crab roe and shrimp scrambled egg toast was also very creative. If you’re a fan of carbs, this is a must-order. The French toast can be shared as a dessert – a great choice. The coffee is excellent and a must-try, and surprisingly, they have a wide variety of teas too. Overall, the prices are reasonable, service is very attentive, and the wine and cocktail list is extensive. This is actually a great spot for family gatherings – enjoyable for both young and old.

We recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The staff took our order but added an extra item we didn’t ask for. We ordered the seafood linguini and the smash burger with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were soggy and overly soft, almost like they had been fried and then steamed. Considering the restaurant is very close to my home, they should have arrived in much better condition. The burger wasn’t great either—the patties were very thin and dry, and it came with wilted lettuce. One piece of fresh lettuce was included, which felt more like a fluke than a standard. The burger also left a greasy aftertaste. The seafood linguini lacked flavor and overall just didn’t taste good. On top of that, the food was overpriced for the quality we received. The service didn’t impress either. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

This is my go to recommendation when folks in the Markham/Richmond Hill area ask for a nice place to dine. I have been multiple times and never been disappointed. It seems to be run very much like a family business. Service has always been impeccable. This week I dropped in on a Monday and it was $12 apps! Favourite was the chicken croquettes. Like arancini but with chicken inside. The ribs were good but I wouldn’t pay the full $24 regular price for a portion that size. Same goes for that fun pink drink I had. Not sure I’d pay $15 to have it again. But some folks priorities are different. I’d rather eat my money than drink it. Love how unassuming the place is tucked back in the corner of the plaza but once inside is spacious and well appointed. Truly flummoxed at the reviews that can possibly be giving lower than 5 stars.

Food was amazing and some had a different twist on things when other were what you find a a restaurant bar. I went with a 7 people and we were in front of the patio. Perhaps it was how they got their bigger group out faster but some of the staff did not completely close the door and it's was windy and we got the fresh air. That is the only negative. Over all it was nice and I may go back but not in front of the patio doors. They did ask people at the table if anyone is allergic to anything which i do like..

June 7, 2025 - 2nd visit 4/5 stars Brunch at Smash Kitchen and Bar was good. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Pancakes were good. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was crispy, tender and flavourful. The pancakes were delicious with the maple syrup. The Breakfast Poutine was good. A great combo of crispy hash, sausage, bacon, fried egg, and veggies with gravy sauce. The coffee was smooth and not acidic. — March 22, 2025 - 1st visit 4/5 stars The BBQ Brisket Hash was good. The brisket was soft, tender and savoury. The hash (mini potato wedges) were crispy and seasoned well. The eggs and tomatoes were good too. Would definitely recommend if craving a good filling brisket and potato dish. The Classic Breakfast with Sausage was good. The eggs were perfectly cooked as over easy eggs. The sausage was good and not too salty. The hash (mini potato wedges) was crispy and flavourful. The bread was nicely toasted and was good to dip in the runny egg yolk :). It would have been nice to have some jam. The Mini French Toast was good. The French Toast was crispy yet soft, and was not too sweet. The blueberries and strawberries were mostly sweet with some tartness. The maple syrup was good. It would have been nice to have the maple syrup on the side. The coffee was mostly smooth with a hint of acidity. Overall, the brunch was good and filling at Smash Kitchen and Bar :)

We visited Chatbar at Unionville as a group of five and had a great time overall. We ordered a variety of dishes including oysters, lamb, eggplant, mushrooms, chives, and other seafood. Everything we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor — definitely a highlight of the experience. The staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive throughout our visit, which added to the positive atmosphere. That said, the dining area could use some improvement. The ventilation wasn’t ideal, and the saloon felt quite hot and a bit outdated in terms of decor. With a little refresh and better air circulation, the experience could easily be a five-star one. Would still recommend it for the food and service.

We arrived around 7:30 on Wednesday night. We were told about 35 minutes wait for a table for 2 people. We end up waited over 50 minutes to be seated. The restaurant wasn't packed, there were many unseated tables. The restaurant only has 1 waiter during dinner time. The waiter was very nice and he did his best to serve 10 tables under the circumstances. The food was hit & miss. The beef and lamb skewers were tasty, the chicken wing with honey skewers were very dry. The yellow fish skewers were good. The eggplant was yummy with garlic sauce. The braise beef with potatoes (served with steam rice) was a bit disappointed, the meat was tough and the potatoes were undercooked. There were complementary shredded potatoes starter and skewered marshmallows for dessert.

First time here for lunch. We came here specifically for the skewers and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered the lamb, chicken, beef and squid. Food was spiced just right. You have the option to modify the levels and we might try that next time Service was excellent and we were well taken care of. Overall we had a nice time.

Loved our visit to Chat Bar! The staff who took our order was super friendly and really helpful with explaining the menu. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and so tasty. Highly recommend the lamb skewers, grilled oysters, and the cheesy corn.

I have been hearing the hype for a while. it is well deserved. To start off we got the cheesy sweet potato which was tasty and sweet. For skewers, we got lamb, beef, and beef ribs. The beef skewers and ribs were delicious. The lamb could have been better in my opinion. The beef soup was delicious and it was savoury and spicy! The service and atmosphere was great and we were well taken care of.

The food was delicious and well-seasoned, and the service was attentive and friendly. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side considering the price. It’s easy to end up with a more expensive meal than expected if you're not careful with ordering.

I had previously tried the North York location of Chatbar and was impressed, so I decided to visit this one — and it did not disappoint. The quality of the food and the service were truly excellent. It was a hot day when we visited, and it felt like the cooling system wasn’t working properly, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. The food was just that good. We went with friends and had a great time. I also really like the design and atmosphere of the place — modern and inviting. If you enjoy Chinese BBQ, I definitely recommend giving this spot a try. It’s flavorful, fun, and worth the visit.

Had a blast there, we booked a private room for an event at the 2nd floor. Each dish comes with a small plate expect for the meat ones. The pork kidney is to die for, extremely fresh and tender that I ordered multiple times. Service is efficient and attentive. The waitress offered us some dry ice to take pix of the meal, is this insane!!!! 10 out of 10!! The whole restaurant gave traditional Szechuan vibe. Plus there’s a minimum spend if you want to have those private rooms but affordable. Overall, this is the one we’d love to come back again!

Went here for dinner on a week day with a bunch of friends. The restaurant wasn't too crowded that eve. We were seated promptly and the servers took time explaining the menu and how to place the order. We opted for the 3 soup hotpot and ordered some meats and veggies. Service was prompt and most of the items we tried tasted good. The items on the buffet table weren't the greatest. The servers kept refilling the soup bowl as needed. Overall, we had a great experience. Note: certain soups can be really spicy🔥, but tasty nonetheless!

Delicious and fun hotpot experience! Xiang Zi HotPot was absolutely amazing! The ingredients were super fresh, and we loved the variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal with family or friends. Highly recommend for anyone who loves hotpot!

I was quite disappointed with my visit to this AYCE hotpot restaurant. The pot heated up very slowly and took a long time to boil. Many of the ingredients were left uncovered, which didn’t seem very hygienic. I even noticed mosquitoes and flies around the food area. The cooked food section wasn’t kept warm enough, and most dishes were cold. The dessert options were also very poor in taste. In addition, the selection of meat was quite limited, and the chairs were uncomfortable. After 8 p.m., they stopped refilling the food, which made the choices even fewer. Overall, the experience was below expectations. I hope the restaurant can improve the food quality, hygiene, and overall dining environment.

Place was packed. Service was prompt and friendly. Appreciated that the tables had ‘Sanitized’ labels and utensils were presented in a container for added cleanliness. When ordering, you can customize for cooked or fresh bean sprouts & if you want basil and lime. Ordered a small beef noodle soup. I added Hoisin sauce and Sriracha before I tasted the broth so not 100% accurate but it tasted tasty & flavourful. Noodles were firm and not soggy. Portion size was good. I found the fish sauce watered down but my friend felt it was fine. Found some of the signage a little weird. There was one at the counter that said they won’t serve you if you’re on the phone & will either serve the next customer or wait til you’re off the phone. Guess too many ppl are wasting their time. Another sign said you only have 1 hour seating time limit. Usually this is seen in ACYE establishments. I don’t like the restriction as I feel rushed, but since it seemed busy, I suppose it’s reasonable. Pricing was average but they do offer a 10% cash discount.

Delicious food, large portions, and super friendly staff and owner. The resto is very kid-friendly and for a drawing, the owner will trade your child's drawing for a pokemon card which I thought was so sweet. Food wise, I tried Bun Rieu for the first time and it was so delicious. I'm not sure why I never tried it before because I love tomato broths, but this was delicious and I would get it again. The broth was tomato-y and crab-y in the best way. The Bun vermicelli was really tasty too, and the dish was huge and good value. You get a 10% cash discount, and for such great service and delicious food, I definitely will be back.

Nice Pho place in the Markham area. We went during lunch so it was busy. (The kids from the nearby high were having lunch soon). Fun decorations around. Good service. Good was decent. The parking lot was surprisingly busy as there are lots of restaurants in the plaza.

1, smallest small size pho I've ever seen in GTA 2, their sriracha IS NOT real sriracha, it's some kinda weird flavoured sauce(not hot) 3, this is the smallest Viet sausage I've ever seen in my life (see pic, literally same girth of the chopsticks and shorter) 4, the rare beef in the pho soup, chewiest I've ever had in my life, taste like rubber band, I had to swallow them whole. Won't be back again even with the $5 discount they gave us.

Amazing place, Vietnamese restaurant has vegetarian menu that’s bonus for us. I highly recommend getting the fried vegetable spring rolls. Love this place, Delicious and beyond excellent service. Best Pho in Markham. Owner is very friendly and the place is very clean. I will definitely come back again.

Milne Conservation Park is a hidden gem worth exploring. For just $5 per person, you gain access to a beautifully maintained natural haven. The park offers a variety of scenic walking trails, perfect for nature lovers and casual hikers alike. The diverse flora and fauna, combined with well-marked paths, make it easy to enjoy the great outdoors. The entrance fee is modest considering the quality of the experience. Overall, Milne Conservation Park provides excellent value and a refreshing escape into nature. Highly recommended for a peaceful and rejuvenating day out.

It’s a very picturesque and beautiful park with lots of parking spots and picnic tables. Parkings are conveniently located beside the picnic tables, making it much easier to carry stuff around. The washrooms are clean and well-maintained. You can have charcoal barbecue here. There are multiple trails available inside the park, leading to the dam and even connecting to other trails going all the way to Unionville Main Street. It’s very calming and quiet; perfect for spending a relaxing day and also logging in your steps.

This is a great park in the middle of the city, there's ample parking space and portable washrooms. There are benches and picnic areas. Would be a great park to ride a bike. There are several great locations for photoshoot.

This is my go to park to bike, walk, jog or just to enjoy a beautiful day. It is a huge park with lots of parking, main washroom and portables on the main park. 2.3 kilometers of trails, a Beach area but not suitable for swimming. Lots of picnic tables. The park opens at 8am and entrance is free on weekdays. Weekends and stat holidays is $4.50 for adults, 3.50 for seniors,children and under is free.

Well maintained, beautiful park! We absolutely love going there for walks. There are a number of picnic benches and places to dispose used charcoal for anyone interested in doing BBQ. The viewpoint of the lake is calming. There are clean washrooms & parking space available. Great for stroller walks/biking/ running.

Nice trail and conservation area. See pictures below. We run out of time before it got dark else its good for an evening stroll and hike. Parking was hard to find.

Big nice park. Very well kept and monitored. Public washrooms are open. People maintain and respect social distancing regulations. Most people are found enjoying near the lake. Good bike and walking trail. The bridge over the Dam has a beautiful view. The gates at McCown Road entrance close at 8 pm. Very good experience.

Yesterday was Labor Day holiday, also the last day of summer holiday for the kids ! We have great fun at Downtown Markham. kids enjoyed the rides at the Pride of Canada Carousel. Each the different characters in the Carousel is a piece of art work by different artists. The kids found it so interesting . It's better to buy 10 tickets at one time , we used them all yesterday.

Great place especially for kids birthday party. Rides are fun for young kids. Place is sheltered but no Air Con. There’s washroom closed by, and parking. Not sure about the ticket 🎫 cost for each ride cause was there for a birthday party. 🥳

Each seat is handcrafted to be a cool & unique piece. 2 rides for $5 Or 10 for $20. Great value. Free parking and a small outdoor ice rink. Kids loved it. Cool thing is only the kids need tickets. Accompanied adults ride Free!

Visited for the first time for a private birthday party and was really impressed by the venue! The carousel is really uniquely designed and made by Canadian sculptor and painter duo. The venue was spacious, well ventilated, clean venue. Went on a hot sunny morning but felt very cool and airy inside. Highly recommend!

I love this place. It is so unique and very beautiful. Each item looks like a peace of art. You think , you are walking in art gallery. Every age can enjoy a ride.

Great experience for little kids. The carousel is well designed with funny details featuring various Canadian specials. It's kinda 'half indoors' with ceiling so it can work even on rainy days, and it's half open (no 360 glass doors) so you get fresh air, it works better for ventilation. The only thing is that it'll be too cold in windy winter days, otherwise kids would enjoy MANY rounds as mine did!

Hill is the biggest attraction of the park. Many playgrounds are there in the park. Sometimes I see Canadian geese near water tank entrance. Good place to walk, relax and enjoy nature with family. The law requires that dog owners should keep their dogs on a leash at all times when on public property. But overall nice place.

It’s a very big park good for jogging and biking. There are multiple sport fields. Unfortunately the big playground in the middle of the park needs a lot of repair since many equipments are out of service; removed and fenced because of damage. The splash pad is good but there is no shade.

2021 October 4★ This park is very big considerably speaking. Apart from the tobogganing hills in the winter as stated in my last review, there are over 3 baseball diamonds and 2 large open fields. 2 playgrounds to keep you entertained with a highschool and community center close by. 2018. 4★ Great place in the summer and the winter. Summer: has a large park, baseball diamonds, several playgrounds and nearby community center. In the winter there's a good hill for tobogganing. It's great. One of the good hills in Markham.

First time coming to this park and it's for tobogganing! We went during weekend after lunch. It is a quite popular place for tobogganing. Many people came already when we arrived. But there are quite some parking spaces, which is nice. The slope is by far the steepest! We had tons of fun. Some people brought their snowboards here to practice! The entrance to the park was a bit sneaky, need to pay more attention!

Just a great place to play sports, relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. There are benches to sit down on, a huge hill to view of the city, there are several soccer fields, baseball diamonds and a basketball court. There is also a playground. There is a also community centre near by (with a pool and ice rink) a high school, and many resturants within walking distance.

Need more portable washroom for each diamond field. Only one washroom to use near by #3 field. Baseball diamond need bases to be installed for every permit holder. Turf grass needed for infield at #1 diamond. Need more trash bins.

As you know, I'm new comer here in Canada so It's a first time that I went to Milliken Mills Park. We went there for sledding. There were many people who were enjoying snowfall and sledding. From a safety point of view, It's the best hill for sledding because there is no hurdles infront of ending edge. Now I will surely go there in Summer too to see the natural beauty of this park. We had an excellent meal. Ordered steak, fish n chips, steak tartar, and Caesar salad. Each one of them were prepared fresh and balanced well. I have been passing by here for years, but got to try to celebrate birthday here. Definitely will come back. Great service and atmosphere. Restaurant was clean but restroom was a bit cramped.

Had a birthday dinner here. Food was prepared quickly and cooked to impeccably very juicy and delicious. Had many interesting appetizer items. I'd recommend steaks it seemed undercooked at first but it does not eat as it looks. Would come back to try other menu items as well.

Nice spot for French/European cuisine in the Markham area. Went with a group of seven and they accommodated us upstairs. Service were attentive. No specials which was interesting. Atmosphere was nice and be good for a quiet date night. As long as there was a group beside you. (Like us). So a few families with kids there, which was interesting. Got some appetizers to share. Calimari and mussels were nice. We got the dinner portion for the beef tartar to share as an appetizer, which was good. I got the duck confit. Nicely cooked on a big bed of salad.

Had a gathering with friends here a few days ago and we were all very satisfied! The food was amazing — especially the duck leg, beef tartare, and beef ribs. The cocktails were also delicious. Great atmosphere and service. They open at 5 PM for dinner — highly recommended!

The dinner took about 3 hours from start to finish. The slowest service I have ever experienced. Almost every table was filled in the bottom floor and there was only one waitress working that night. Waitress was great but slightly inexperienced, but the issue is management here allocating one waitress for a busy night. Started off bad because I reserved a week in advance for the second floor seating. They said yes during the call, but they did not open the second floor that night. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. The duck stood out the most for me for the main course and the lava cake was probably one of the best desserts I have eaten. However, our drinks took about 2 hours to arrive. We ate the entire meal with no water no drinks. The waitress told us multiple times our drinks will come but ended up taking 2 hours to come. Whole service from start to finish was slow and I saw a table leave because they ran out of patience after waiting 30+ minutes to order. Saw another young couple walk in to be seated but never seated and they walked away as well. Food was so good but the slowness and poor management is inexcusable.

The dinner was good. The servers were friendly. The price is good for the venue. The restaurant building is nice too. I would have given it a higher rating. But the dining experience was knocked off by a few things: 1) the air conditioning was broken during a hot summer night. 2) there are unsightly boxes and stuff piled up at the entrance and under the staircase, the dining room now looks like a cheap cafeteria. 3) They have a balcony upstair that is poorly maintained. We almost ordered everything on the menu! The flavour was delicious. The duck confit salad 🤤 👌🏼 was surprisingly beautiful. The owner is so warm and made the effort to say hi both times I was here.

!!! NEVER ORDER CAKES FROM HERE (Look at the attached photos) !!! $78 (pre-tax) for terrible quality !!! I ordered a cake for my friend’s bridal shower (Saturday) and went to pick it up the evening prior - what I ordered and what I received are drastically different. This cake shop LITERALLY has a photo for reference and this is what I ended up with: 1) The shade of the flowers and leaves are not even the same - what is on their website is light, pastel, and floral while what I received was tacky neon orange, bright pink, and bright green. This level of quality is what I expect from very old supermarkets… 2) Just look at the piping of the leaves! It is not even the same shape! The pink ones are also very different - you can see where they stopped the piping bag and it looks like the work of a beginner who is learning how to use a piping bag. See how the orange “roses” are poorly made - the baker didn’t even care to clean off the edges and just treated it like side-layered icing. Speaking of cleaning edges, they didn’t even care to clean the green icing off of the edges that shouldn’t have green! 3) Why is the surface of icing uneven on the top and the sides?! Why does the decorative component take up half of the cake instead of one-third (like the photo)? On a Friday evening with no other cake shops that can accept an order for the following morning, I am forced to take this cake. It is utterly embarrassing that I have to bring this to a function - even more so when it is surrounded by family and friends of my good friend. I am willing to pay for a good cake because I know how competitive it is out there; and surely, there are so many other cake shops that can do a better job and we chose them because of what we saw on their website! This place is a scam!!! I did not even want to pick this up or pay for this, but then I will be left without a cake for my friend’s special day, so I am forced to accept - the baker and the manager were not available to speak to. Even if you gave me this ugly cake for free, it will not make up for the fact that I have to present this joke. Even if it was free, I will 100% pick another cake shop that will be able to do what they show. Would it be possible that they’re using an image of a cake that is not even theirs? Possibly, and that would be false advertising. Now, if you ask why didn’t I go check how it looks in-person before I ordered? All their cake styles are not always readily available for you to view. Don’t order from here or else you’ll be like me: stuck with this cheap-looking and gaudy cake right before an important event.

Ordered a birthday cake from here (matcha jasmine yuzu cake). They offer a green or pink colour of the cake, and we opted for the pink which came in a beautiful baby pink colour. In terms of flavour, cake wasn’t too sweet which was great and the mousse was light and airy. We wish the matcha flavour was stronger as the yuzu was way too strong. Not bad overall.

Their desserts are fusion of asian and french which by the way is the best fusion ever existed. We got the black sesame noir (mountain) which was good. I appreciate the detail. You cut into it and it looks like a piece of art even on the inside like those fancy desserts you see in the food channel. I also like their summer special fruit tea drink. Just dont get coffee at these places (lets leave that to the italians). Must try. Would come back to try other desserts soon. I see they also have mooncakes and other aesthetic desserts you normally would see in Asian cafes like in Korea or Japan.

I tried their mini cakes and I loved it! The flavours were very delicious and it wasn’t too sweet which was perfect for me. Definitely will be coming back for more.

The cake looked just like the picture online—really pretty! The taste wasn’t as fresh as I hoped, a bit dry and hard, but the cream was nice. The lady at the store was super sweet and even gave us warm water when my kid coughed. I’d love to come back and try other cakes, especially the lime one.

PASTRY: they're all super cute and very creative, design wise and flavour wise. I'm so in love with Orange de Terre and Earl Grey Pear. They have amazing flavor combinations. The mango cloud is good too. Sesame Noir is not some flavor that I'm too familiar with so to me it's just interesting but not the best. SERVICE: the staff were patient and friendly. VIBE: super nice store. Interior gives a very upscale and elegant vibe. The place is really clean.

I ordered the Matcha Jasmine Yuzu cake for my mom’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly, one of the best cakes my family and I have ever had (and that’s saying a lot because I don’t even like cake). The matcha flavor was rich and deep, with a delicate hint of jasmine and yuzu that came through beautifully. It was light, not overly sweet, and so easy to enjoy—we ended up finishing the whole cake in one sitting. The ordering process was seamless too. I placed the order two weeks in advance and called a couple of days before pickup to confirm. The customer service was excellent—super friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person at pickup.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience at this location! The pizzas are consistently hot and flavorful when I pick them up, which is always such a delight. The pan crust is my favorite; its soft, comforting texture is truly satisfying. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. It's nice to see a place that truly cares about its customers.

After refusing to order at the Hwy 48 location due to hand hygiene issues and lack of supplies we came here. Yes the hwy 48 had a better special but not worth it to me. This location was great. The guy on cash was very pleasant. They have 2 people working unlike the other location so one on cash and one on food. They had a topping list so made things more organized. Everything was well displayed. And the pizza was good. I tried Alfredo for the first time and liked it and we really loved their thin crust...the other location didn't even have that option. So these guys are well stocked and more customer oriented. I would come back to this location. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because pizza hut is famous for lack of toppings. Not just this location. It would be nice if they covered it with toppings. The one with Alfredo sauce u can barely tell it has mushrooms.

This place is garbage. Stingy. Dishonest. Deceitful. Here is a picture of a supposed 14 inch pizza -- I'll let the picture speak for itself. Avoid this location. It's run by clowns -- a far cry from the service and quality they provided when they first opened here 30+ years ago.

Food and everything was normal. The person helping was nice and friendly. However, my biggest issue was that I was not told that they were taking a credit card surcharge of 2.4%. I had cash on me and debit. It was just easier to pay with my phone. There was no signage and when I asked the employee she didn't know or was confused about what I was asking. I've been to a different pizza hut since then and they didn't have that charge. They should at the very least have a sign or give the customer a heads up.

I ordered from this location through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, the delivery bag was not sealed, the brown bag was completely open. Additionally, the pizza boxes were not taped or properly closed. This is the first time I’ve experienced this when ordering food. I recommend implementing better quality control for deliveries to ensure customers receive food that hasn’t been tampered with. Surprised this isn't already standard protocol.

I really enjoy this Pizza Hut location! You can tell they put real effort into making their pizzas, they’re always fresh, well-topped, and made with care. It’s consistent every time, and that’s something I really appreciate. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving pizza!

I come to this location every Thursday, and it never disappoints! The staff is always very friendly, and the quality is consistently great. They always make the pizza taste amazing—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a reliable and welcoming spot for delicious pizza.

Our friends took me and my wife for lunch here for the first time. We absolutely love it. The aromas when you walk in tell you that this restaurant is quality. The food portions are very generous, the quality, taste and freshness of the product and produce is high quality. I ordered the Famous Pad Thai with lobster. The cost is with it and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

i’m not a big fan of Thai food, but this restaurant caugh me and I will keep going back. The service is excellent and even though there was a slightly longer wait time, that’s essentially telling of how good the food is, that people are willing to wait…but then it’s also a small restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. Now, let’s talk about the FOOD! The food is the highlight of my entire week. Everything was flavorful and done just right. I had zero complaints or disappointments of any kind, where the food was concerned. The cocktails are very pretty to look at, but the alcohol to me was not strong enough for the cocktail… But I guess this is just because of personal preference. The PRICE was less than I thought it would be. My main course, one cocktail and appetizer came to $69 before tip. The restaurant is very loud. My friends and I were shouting at each other throughout the meal because everybody’s shouting nearby so it’s hard to hear. The decor and atmosphere in the restaurant are not appealing to the aesthetic senses, but the restaurant is clean. I would recommend this for dinner with friends or family on our regular evenings out, but not for special occasions or dating. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

Their website advertises “authentic Thai,” though it's hard to say how authentic it truly is—while we were there, the owner and staff were speaking languages other than Thai. You can make a reservation online, and they'll send you a text reminder before your visit. After the meal, they also follow up with a text inviting you to complete a survey. We tried the crispy tofu, Khao Soi, and chicken satay, all of which were very tasty. Interestingly, they all came with the same dipping sauce, which was flavorful and complemented the dishes well. Authentic or not, the food here is definitely better than what you’ll find at many other Thai restaurants. Service was quick, and the server was quite friendly. The restaurant is tucked into a small corner plaza, and parking can be a bit of a headache during peak hours.

My friend recommended this place and Im pretty sure we've ordered it from here before. I remember really enjoying it. I heard they have seven different locations. We visited a little after 2 p.m., still during their lunch menu hours. I really liked the interior! Simple yet with a lovely touch of Thai and Asian culture. All the servers were friendly, and we absolutely loved all our dishes. I just wish they would open a location in Thornhill soon

It’s always so difficult to get a table but that says a lot about the food here at Chiang Rai. I love an authentic pad thai and the pad Thai here was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The noodles were not overdone. The pineapple fried rice was also nicely done. Mango salad is a must get when eating here, the plating is so beautiful and well executed. Service is also very friendly, they have a 1.5 hour seating restriction but if there is no one waiting in line it doesn’t seem like they would enforce this.

Really solid Thai spot. Tried the Famous Pad Thai with beef (medium spice) and it was super tasty — just the right amount of heat without being too much. Nice touch having the peanuts on the side. Everything was fresh and looked great when it came out. The service was great and everything came out pretty quickly. Heads up: there’s an automatic 18% gratuity for groups of 5 or more. Definitely a go-to if you’re in the mood for Thai.

Went on Canada Day with a reservation for 5 and the plaza was packed! Highly recommend the Thai calamari and pad kee maw. I don’t usually like Thai curries but I cried some of my friend’s red curry and it was actually pretty good! The pineapple rice was decent as well but I was a bit disappointed that it seems like most of the dish was just garnish (emptied pineapple) holding the rice. The service was fast, which was a plus. Since we were a group of 5, an automatic 18% service charge was applied to our bill. Would come back again for good Thai food!

I am disappointed on these ramen today. The soup is tasteless and likes water. I have to ask the waiter to provide the miso….

My wife, a person with a visible disability fell at the entrance because of dangerously neglected entranceway. We love this place, the stores are amazing. If we are nearby, we always stop in for a quick bite or proper meal. However the maintenance of the building is not good, and even dangerous. This is boarding criminal negligence. This is a traggidy waiting to happen. I am angry and concerned.

Nice couple of little stores. The Japanese grocery store has lots of small authentic items. Bought lots of drinks and different types of Japanese candy. Bakery nearby has nice options. Good for a quick bite.

Definitely a great place to go when you look for authentic Japanese items. It’s a one stop for all, natto, onigiri rice ball, bakery, snacks, grocery, utensils, miscellaneous….etc. We got few onigiri rice balls, some groceries and lots of snacks home today. Prices vary but you can usually find a few things at a good price! Highly recommend!

I came to J-Town with my family to visit the Japanese cake shop called Yuzu No Ki and order a birthday cake. It was nice to have a walk around this place. Although it’s not very big, but they do have all kinds of Japanese food that you may need on your grocery list. They have fresh meat, seafood, sashimi, sushi, bentos, bread, vegetables and dried goods etc... The price is not cheap but you may find something special here that cannot be found elsewhere. I enjoyed the feel of Japan here. It was calm and relaxing. I was able to take nice photos of the maples hanging there. It wasn’t too crowded even on weekends so if you want to grab some Japanese food to go, why not stop by J-Town.

This was such a terrible experience! The chicken in the fried noodles I got from the bento section was actually raw! It looked cooked on the outside, but the inside was completely raw—you could literally see the raw chicken texture. That’s so unsafe! I even ate a whole piece before I realized it, and now I feel really nauseous. This is seriously unacceptable for a place selling ready-to-eat food. Please do something about your food safety!

A beautiful church located in the north of Markham, it’s big and beautiful with green land around it.

While I didn't get a chance to tour the interior of the church, I was able to capture some incredible drone photos of the exterior. The architecture is truly stunning and showcases the church's beauty remarkably well. I'm happy to share them with you.

Beautiful Cathedral which integrated with very thoughtful city plan. I was very impressed with Cathedral architecture and very nice community built around that makes the Cathedral central focus point. Neighborhood very organized and residents are taking care of their homes and lawns. Very nice town layout and a lot of parks and walkable places.

Pleasant exterior marred by Sutter Kane's eventual obliteration of what we know as existence. Visited as part of a cross-Ontario trip, and I personally preferred a certain covered bridge near Kitchener - which only slightly damaged my sanity... so, take notes, Cathedral of the Transfiguration. Didn't care for the fact that visiting this church resulted in me sheltering a shattered Sam Neil in my house for close to two days, which had its low points and its mediocre points. Hot dog vendors set up near church when we visited in August, so that was nice. Didn't have malt vinegar, so minus 1 star to both vendor and church. Prices reasonable - though why does everything cost so much now!? - and human-fish hybrid people were largely disagreeable.

The cathedral is the centrepiece of City of Markham . The 210 fleet tall tower stands up tall at the Cathedraltown, a beautiful small community. I was told that this is the largest Greek Catholic Church in the world. Both the interior and exterior design are great in Architecture buildings. Very impressive !

The Cathedral of the Transfiguration in Richmond Hill, built in 1984, is a marvel of Slovak Greek and Melkite Greek Catholic architecture. Its three spires and intricate design stand out, and its serene interior is perfect for reflection. A must-see for its beauty and history.
