Lounge
Bryant's Cocktail Lounge is a stylish and historic gathering place with a hipster vibe, offering an extensive menu of vintage and creative cocktails. Since its establishment in 1938, this swanky lounge has become known for its deep catalog of over 400 cocktails, including the famous Wisconsin brandy Old Fashioned and ice cream concoctions like the Pink Squirrel. The bar's ambiance takes patrons back to a simpler time, with dim lighting, dark carpeting, and leather chairs.
Hidden gem. Bartenders were knowledgeable and interactive. No menu, the bartenders ask you what you like and they use their mixology talents to whip up amazing libations. I hope bartender Kai is there when you are, he made the whole vibe that much more fun.

Didn't eat so can't rate food if it's served here. Drinks were OK but pricey. Service seemed like it was going to be great when we first entered. We were told how it was going to work- "bartender will ask you questions about your tastes & what you like then will make you something special based on that." That's not at all how it went though. Maybe we just came at a bad time 🤷‍♀️
Amanda S — Google review
This speakeasy will take you back many years, has a cool dim lit ground floor bar area with a velvet laced entryway upstairs to another lounge. Just describe your flavor palette and they will create unique drinks all night long.
On O — Google review
Gorgeous atmosphere, very intimate and captivating. One of my favorite places to go to on an impromptu date night or mingle with friends. Pick any spirit of your liking and they’ll make one out of over 500 cocktail recipes. Always have had wonderful service and beverages. No food but not why we come to visit.
Caitlin H — Google review
Great cocktails love the no-menu and historical (supposedly since 1938) aspect. Bartender knew his stuff and whipped up some great riffs on my cues. If you’re a cocktail enthusiast this is the spot in mwke.
Austin C — Google review
Very creative cocktails describe what you like and something will be mixed. I loved it. Made for a unique fun experience.
Todd H — Google review
Give the server your likes and dislikes and trust the process. More than 600 drink recipes and while we only had a few they were all amazing. Low light and cozy booths.
Blair L — Google review
Unassuming upscale spot with a very personable experience between your party and the bartender. Ink created specialty cocktails to our exact liking. Vanilla martini’s are now an unexpected new favorite of mine. Parking is tough at night, we had to walk about two blocks. Dana, Alegra and Art were also fantastic staff members.

Bar
Wolski's Tavern, a historic and family-owned establishment located in Milwaukee's East Village, has been a beloved neighborhood tavern for over a century. The classic venue offers a laid-back atmosphere with simple pleasures such as free popcorn, pool table, darts, and an array of beers on tap. One of its unique traditions is the distribution of 'Closed Wolski's' bumper stickers to patrons who stay until closing time at 2:00 AM.
Came here as part of a Brady Street Food Tour. It was Saturday afternoon and the placed was packed. A another large group came here as part of a wedding. It's a nice place. We ended up on the patio.
Scott W — Google review
I had a great time here. I love the old school dart boards and the outdoor sitting area. Everyone inside was lovely, I definitely recommend stopping here while you're in the Milwaukee area.
Kaitlyn D — Google review
Wolski’s is Milwaukee Dive Bar royalty. Those “I closed Wolski’s” bumper stickers are part of the mythos here. Think clean dive, friendly and lovingly varnished, all in a hard to find house in a residential neighborhood ( use google to walk you in.) Bucket list bar for sure. Hamm’s on tap for the win.

We we’re in Milwaukee for 2 nights and ended up in Wolski’s twice. Great dive bar en great vibe. Loved the drinks and fresh popcorn. Been there, Done that, got the sticker!
Heleen B — Google review
What kind of bar is 23+?? Especially in Wisconsin. Legal drinking age is 21 but Wolski’s doesn’t care. All because their bouncers are poorly trained and cannot distinguish between a real and fake ID. The bar was empty on a Friday night after this new policy. Hopefully they continue to struggle with their new policy. Go to any of the other great bars in the area that don’t discriminate against 21 and 22 year olds with valid IDs.
Ryan — Google review
Was there this past Thursday 7/10 and the bartender was very arrogant and should not be in the service industry. He was a middle aged guy, dark hair, and glasses, wore some kind of apron. Just overall very rude and did not make customers feel welcome. It wasn’t that busy in the bar and I had to ask for a drink 3 times before I was finally served and he acted like it was an inconvenience that I asked for a drink. It can be a fun bar, I like all the dart boards and the divey atmosphere. Just wish there was better service.
Brittni H — Google review
Wolski's is a great Milwaukee bar. I recently moved to the suburbs after living on the lower east side of Milwaukee for many years. This bar is one of the main things I will miss as I obviously won't be frequenting as much now that I am no longer in the neighborhood. Wolski's has a great staff that is very experienced. It is family owned so they have family working there plus loyal servers who have worked there for many years. I always got treated well there and it is always a safe and fun vibe unlike many of the nearby Brady St bars that have gone downhill in recent years in my opinion. Plus, you get free popcorn and they play good music that I enjoy(mostly rock and alternative). The crowd there is somewhat diverse as you get many neighborhood locals and regulars plus people stopping in from out of town because of the "bumperstickers" they are famous for. The age ranges from 20 somethings to 40 somethings and it is usually a good mix of people and males and females especially on the weekends. Obviously the later you go on weekend nights the crowd starts to skew a lot younger. The bar is nothing fancy just a few pool tables and dartboards and an outdoor patio for the summer. The bottom line is Wolski's is just a great local bar and I definitely recommend it for locals or anybody visiting the city from out of town. It is a Milwaukee institution.

Wonderful museum with a fantastic collection and rotating special exhibits. Absolutely stunning building. Big enough to cover lots of artistic territory, but spacious and curated amazingly well so that you don't feel overwhelmed. Cafe on site. We spent about 4 hours there and saw about 75% of the exhibits. Strongly recommend.
David S — Google review
One of the best museums in the country both inside and out and incredible views right on gorgeous Lake Michigan. Plan to have lunch at the awesome cafe overlooking the lake, which includes a patio. Collection is beautifully arranged with an incredible American modern collection, best in Midwest. I got a membership so I can walk over and do laps around the tunnels which overlook the lake and city! Cafe is excellent with perfect espresso, salads, wraps and subs, soups and wine, etc. Supporting the cafe supports the museum! Well done!
Tina H — Google review
My boyfriend and I went to the art museum today to take pictures with his new camera. There were only a few spots we took pictures and were really respectful of those around us but we were followed on the lower level of the museum the whole time. We couldn’t go in a new section without a worker watching us. We were in no way doing anything that caused any disturbance to anyone or anything there…that kinda ruined the experience for us. Other than that the art is gorgeous and I have always loved art since I was a kid.
Allison O — Google review
We come here about once a year. It's not something we normally plan to do, but think about it when we might be downtown for some other activity and find that we have some time. Always enjoy the building itself and the featured exhibits. This time they were showcasing some of the Bradley Collection. Another special exhibit (although much smaller in scale) was the "Reviving the Dance of Death." The docent suggested that we use the magnifier app on our phone to get a closer look — great suggestion! We never try to see everything, and usually have enough after one hour. The lower level parking is a great option if there are spaces available. The MAM is a nice amenity on our beautiful lakefront.
Scott W — Google review
This museum is a dream come true. We traveled from Michigan for Summerfest and knew we had to go to this museum while we were in town! Our first impressions were just marveling at how beautiful it was. Even the underground parking is beautiful! For some reason the wings didn’t open at noon and flap, and we didn’t get to see them open at all this weekend which was such a bummer! The museum is fairly priced at $27, and this place is *huge*. We kept thinking we went through every room and just kept finding more art! We spent almost 3 hours here. The cafe is really nice for a quick bite and beautiful view. Just keep in mind they are cafe prices. I liked the gift shop but I wasn’t blown away. Overall you will see some great things at this museum and you’ll be happy you went!
Ellen B — Google review
Beautiful Spot by Lake Michigan The Milwaukee Art Museum is a stunning place for a walk along Lake Michigan. There’s a nice café with great views, and Discovery World plus two lovely parks are just a short walk away along the shoreline. Plenty of parking available — perfect for a relaxing visit.
Manuela ( — Google review
The museum is well appointed on the Lake Michigan shoreline. It already encompasses the threat of a future romantic destination. If you are a fan of Futurama, you will understand. Initially I intended to visit the museum to explore Calatrava's architecture, which I like. Culturally, it seemed essential to understand why it was positioned in Milwaukee, instead of Chicago. If you recall, the Chicago spire (project started but not completed) was a Calatrava design. Many, I believe, felt slighted by comparison. The project manifested versus the project lost. It was a blow for the birth of the skyscraper city. An old narrative now, but relevant, if only comically. I was not surprised for the setting to be naturally beautiful - you can feel the magnitude of Lake Michigan from inside and outside the museum. However, what shocked me was the glass work throughout the galleries. I was not expecting such an impactful collection, enough to inspire to revisit the topic of glass collecting as art in lieu of paintings. The restaurant needs improvement.
M X — Google review
FYI at noon everyday the wings fold down and then fold back up. It's very cool best place to see is pedestrian bridge that goes into the museum

Lakefront Brewery is a popular brewpub in Milwaukee known for its array of beers, including organic and gluten-free options. The brewery offers entertaining tours that are considered one of the best deals in the area, providing visitors with a chance to explore the brewery, enjoy beer tastings, and take home a souvenir pint glass. The year-round brews feature a variety of India pale ales, lagers, and seasonal beers.
Lakefront Brewery is an absolute gem and such a fun experience from start to finish! The tour really showcases the history and heart of the brewery—you get to see the tanks up close and learn about the process, but it never feels boring. The guides keep it lively, funny, and full of personality. The nods to Milwaukee culture (like the Laverne & Shirley) make it feel extra special and unique to the city. The riverside patio is a highlight—it’s such a perfect spot to enjoy a fresh pint while watching the boats drift by. Inside, the atmosphere is just as memorable, with character-filled spaces covered in guest signatures and a cozy vibe that makes every corner feel like it has a story. And of course, the food and beer did not disappoint! The cheese curds were absolutely spot on—crispy, melty, and delicious with the dipping sauce. Pair that with one of their local brews and you’ve got a true taste of Milwaukee. What really sets Lakefront apart, though, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re in Milwaukee, Lakefront Brewery is a must. Between the history, the river views, the food and drinks, and the incredible staff, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and
Jonathan L — Google review
The brewery was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the cheese curds were fantastic. They were super chewy and had a little grease on the outside. The downside is you can’t eat a lot of them at the same time because of the cheese and grease. They don’t offer flights on the weekends but I got the dive beer and it was a nice light beer. You have to pay for the brewery tours and they are only available on the weekends.
Andrew R — Google review
Great atmosphere with plenty of beer options and a decent size menu. The cheese curds were the best I’ve ever had! The only down side is parking. It took us 15 minutes to find street parking. I can’t imagine trying to park during peak times. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend!
Dwayne B — Google review
Our company set up a tour here and it was a lot of fun. Our guide George was very entertaining and did a great job. We each got several chips to spend on drinks. My absolute favorite was their Eastside Dark, followed by the Hazy rabbit and Bumble Bear. They have the absolute best cheese curds I have ever tasted.
Barry D — Google review
So many things to love here! Ahead of our tour we enjoyed some incredible fried cheese curds and a giant pretzel -- we loved both of them. Then onto the informative tour with JD who was funny and knowledgeable and did a great job keeping control of the group. The $17 tour price is a bargain since it includes 32oz of beer as well. (Tip: I'm not a beer drinker but I enjoyed their Shandy, a mead, and their highly delicious root beer.)
Heather F — Google review
This is a Milwaukee classic. Food here is super on point. Some of the best cheese curds l've ever had! Huge space with bench seating so you'll likely have someone on the same table but it's not an issue. Can still get pretty packed. Right next to the river. If you're on a boat you can dock, get a beer, and head back out pretty quickly. I recommend doing the tour its worth $7 3 drinks and a awesome lake front beer cup! 100% recommend!
Hagz — Google review
Great beer and food. We took the weekday tour and it was great. You get 4 generous half pint samples. You also get a coupon for a free beer at participating restaurant/bars. Add this tour to your list.

Food & atmosphere was great. Best cheese curds I’ve had! I ordered the sausage mac & cheese and it was delicious. It had caramelized (I think) onions and it elevated the dish to a whole new level.

SafeHouse is a popular spy-themed restaurant and bar located in Milwaukee. The establishment's quirky, dimly lit interior and creative cocktails make it a buzzy hideaway for those who enjoy espionage-themed films and books. To enter the restaurant, patrons need to know the password, adding an element of mystery to the experience. The menu at SafeHouse features items inspired by military history, such as the Mission Impossible burger and Nachos Camp Stanley.
This is the first time I have given a place 5 stars on everything. This place nailed it! The atmosphere is awesome, quirky, and fun. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were good. Make sure to tip the magician because he is "hands down" a true master of his craft! Take the time to enjoy everything this place has to make your time here memorable and fun. Oh and the secret password to get in is...... 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT GOING HERE! Find yourself down a little road looking for a door and knocking and saying a password to get in.... Are you an agent or a spy... Or worse, a double agent! Awesome experience that even Obama has been to and so many more people that it will literally take you hours to consume it all. Ask for Agent Bunny G, tell her Agent Google Guy sent you! Great experience! Must do! Food - Awesome Service - Amazing, Thanks again Agent Bunny G! You made the experience! Atmosphere - Awesome Magician - Yes, they even have one, magical!
Rick B — Google review
Great food and great service this place is awesome! The Double Agent with fries was really good and is certainly a cheesy burger! The rye bread here is just awesome as well so it’s definitely the current favorite! The red Cajun fries are really good as well and the ambience of the restaurant is certainly worth visiting. They have some really cool artifacts and signed pictures that are certainly worth seeing. Lastly, I recommend the scavenger hunt as it helps you see some somewhat hidden parts of the restaurant….for sure coming back again and again!

Very cool place! Lots of fun for the whole family. Super cool spy theme and the decor will leave you speechless. This place is totally worth the adventure! All of the staff are great, Copper was our server and she did a phenomenal job at waiting on us and the other guests in her section.
Avram L — Google review
Great atmosphere, kid friendly, the food was pretty good. I had the Cuban missile crisis, and order of cheese curds, my son had the Thunderballs (meat balls). And I had a few adult beverages. All and all, we had a great time at The Safe House!

Absolutely love this place. They truly make u feel like a spy. Wish I could give you guys 10 stars. And the magician did an amazing job he was so much fun. And agent 0so M was the best waiter you could ask for. She made our whole night. She was so nice and caring for a agent. 10 out of 10 experience.
David L — Google review
This place isn’t what the reviews make it to be. Giving it a 2 star is being very generous and looking for all the positives of the place. The food came out cold, bland, dry, and I’ve had better food in the deserts of the Middle East than this place. I’ve had better service by a blind homeless man at the local 7/11. The atmosphere is okay it’s a cool concept with an out dated vibe. I’ve had a better experience with 1 night in the county jail than this place. But the cheese curds is what boosts this rating to a 2 star. If you’re gonna try try one just to say you did it.

Uncle Wolfie's Breakfast Tavern & Nite Wolf Ramen is a warm, family-owned spot in Milwaukee's Brewer's Hill known for its creative takes on breakfast and brunch classics. The cozy corner bar atmosphere and curated retail space make it a favorite among locals. Their menu features dishes like the BELTCH, Spamelette, McJohnny, cold fried chicken bahn mi, and ube cheesecake.
Uncle Wolfie's is an unbelievably great breakfast/lunch spot! I have eaten here twice and both were wonderful experiences. My first visit a year prior in 2024, I was even lucky enough to be served by the owner himself, Wolf. I told him then and I'll say it again here, this place is something special! They have a very interesting menu with a clash between time-tested classics as well as incredibly unique, ultra-flavorful menu items. Their food rivals the quality and flavor profile of many Michelin Guide designated or James Beard awarded restaurants, without the frills (or price tag) of a true 'fine-dining' experience. The tavern potatoes are a MUST! The kitchen staff and service team deserve a standing ovation. They've taken an unassuming breakfast joint and turned it into a place I want to return every time I visit Milwaukee. My server/bartender [Carson] was knowledgeable, kind, and had great recommendations for me, top notch service all around! Photos [sorry for the mid-meal quality pics] feature their crispy chili-oil fish sandwich, tavern potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. Be warned, they are popular and you may need to wait or go early to get a table when you want it! Already looking forward to my next visit to Wolfie's!

Loved this place! The interior feels very organic, clean, and thoughtfully designed, warm, quaint, and welcoming. It has the charm of a locally owned spot (and it definitely feels like one). The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the whole visit even better. Coffee was bold and delicious, served in a great rustic mug, and the avocado toast was outstanding, crispy bread, fresh toppings, and so much flavor. Overall, a cozy, well-kept spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Wanted a breakfast/brunch experience with great local’s reviews. Found the right spot. Shout out to Autumn for awesome service. Great location with retro vibe. Enjoyed their lunch menu Spamellete omelette. Check the menu description for details. Asked for a side of their corn meal biscuit with homemade sausage gravy, which I really enjoyed.

This place is truly cozy and inviting location with an amazing chef. The dish I tried was absolutely incredible, and it’s really rare to experience such a perfect combination of flavors. The chef clearly knows exactly what they’re doing, and the service is excellent. A quick note: be prepared to wait for a table about 25 minutes on weekdays and possibly around 40 minutes on weekends, according to my friends who live nearby. They’ve also mentioned that it’s very hard to get a table on weekends. I was absolutely delighted by the food. The potatoes were simply amazing- perfectly cooked inside. I suspect they might boil them before baking, but whatever the method, it was incredibly tasty. My friend and I were both very impressed. The only thing that disappointed me was that some drink prices were missing from the menu, such as lemonade, coffee, and matcha. I also found the price of the matcha lemonade quite high -almost $10. Had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the lemonade very tasty, even though I asked them to reduce the syrup (it usually comes very sweet). I also didn’t realize that extras like fresh mint and syrup were charged separately, and I could barely taste them. So this part was a bit upsetting. I recommend asking about the price of drinks not listed on the menu beforehand. Another nice touch is that in the same building, there’s a small shop selling cosmetics, bags, and, as it seemed to me, a few antique items. There’s also a terrace nearby where you might be able to enjoy drinks, though I didn’t quite figure out how it works. Overall, though, this place is wonderful, and I definitely want to return to try more of their likely delicious dishes.

I gave the food 3 stars because the cornmeal pancakes were super good, and the portion size was just right. The breakfast burrito was tasty too, and the house hot sauce really complimented the flavor. I did notice the burrito had a different flavor style and cut of steak other than what was listed on the menu, the burrito was a handheld because of the cilantro lime sauce that was drzzled on the tortilla. The house potatoes were crispy and seasoned perfectly definitely a highlight. The place has a cool, trendy vibe and seems like a local favorite. It’s in a small historic building, which was really neat. It did get a little noisy, but that just added to the lively atmosphere. There’s also a cute little boutique in the back not part of the restaurant, but fun to check out while you’re there. The host was really friendly and let us choose between a table or bar seating. I wish they had outdoor dining since the weather was perfect that day, but overall, it was a great spot for breakfast with good pancakes and potatoes and nice service.

Heads up: This is mostly a biscuits and gravy review. If you’re craving traditional buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, that’s not what you’ll find here. The biscuit is overly sweet (I think they use cornmeal?) and more crumbly than fluffy. The gravy was thin and saltiness overpowered all other flavors. The best sausage gravy is infused with the flavors of sausage, while this was a little flat/one-note. I would definitely go back to Uncle Wolfie’s to try something else on the menu. My friend’s breakfast burger looked impeccable and the vibes were excellent, even on a random Tuesday morning.

We had a super long wait, but the food and atmosphere made it worth it. The dishes are super interesting and allergen-friendly (I’m gluten free and had a lot of options), and the cocktails are refreshing and balanced. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small and the food comes out fast. Got the breakfast poutine, huevos rancheros, eggs hollandaise, and a breakfast sandwich. Recommend all of them.

Wow. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks and very friendly staff. The food was perfection. I had the steak burrito in a bowl and my partner had the biscuits and gravy. The coffee was so good, the bloody was fantastic! We will be back!

Foundation is a lively and festive tiki bar located in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. The decor is adorned with Polynesian elements such as puffer fish lights, surfboard tables, totem poles, and woodcarvings by local artist Dave Hansen. The bar offers an extensive rum selection and a menu filled with tropical cocktails made from natural ingredients. Signature drinks include the Old Fashioned made with brandy and the famous Mai Tai.
Great tiki bar in Milwaukee. I had the Zombie and the Mai Tai. They were both strong and delicious. The service was great as well.

I work at a tiki bar and love checking out the tiki bars when I visit a new town. This place is awesome and really true to tiki. Drinks are fairly priced (cheaper than my bar lol) and really good. Service was great, but I do usually prefer a table serve style so we had to go up to the bar to order, which is fine just not my preference. All together I had a great time with my family. Thanks guys!

I have been wanting to come here forever. Finally made it. I love house bars.. This one has been around since 1995, I am told. A great selection of rums this place to set up for good conversation and drinks of paradise. A nice little Milwaukee getaway.

Located in the Fiserv Forum entertainment block, Drink Wisconsinbly Pub is a popular spot that offers a wide selection of products from local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. It's known for its pet-friendly environment and ample seating to watch various sporting events on multiple screens. While they don't serve food, nearby restaurants deliver, and they often run specials during Wisconsin sporting events. Visitors rave about the delicious fish fry and cheese curds.
Can I give a 10/5 for service!!!!!???? Ryan was our bartender and was fantastic!!!! He not only took care of us and entertained us. He made a custom gin drink for me, he hung out with us and gave us so many local recommendations. But the best? Some kids were trying to make the basket, not only did he make it, but on the first try, one handed while holding a mop. Epic!

Lovely pub across from Fiserv Forum that celebrates everything Wisconsin. Fine line of draughts, but didn't know the served food unless that's a mistake. Always packed for Bucks games.

So happy this bar is in the Deer District! I love the brand, and they have great merchandise in their gift shop. They have a good selection of beer, and their canned brandy old fashioned drinks are delicious! Just note that it can get really busy here during Fiserv Forum events or Milwaukee bar crawls. Make sure to Drink Wisconsibly!

I may have already been drunk but I really liked this place. Got the fish fry, it was delicious and the fries were awesome! Get yourself a "moo and dew", it's spotted cow and a shot of tulamore dew for 6 bucks, worth it. The cheese curds here were really great too, ill definitely go back if I'm ever around here again.

Great vibes and even better drinks! Also fantastic place to bring your dog for a quick drink outside in the sun. Also the size of the tall boys is no joke compared to a 20 oz beer cup! Considering the placement near other establishments it’s a great location to start a bar crawl.

Bar
Camp Bar | Third Ward offers a Northwoods-themed experience with its two-story patio that provides a rooftop and ground level hangout. The bar has a log cabin look with plaid-cushioned furniture, a large stone fireplace, taxidermy, and various knickknacks like snowshoes on the walls.
Came here recently with some friends. Service was fast and friendly. Their themed cocktails are easy to sip too quickly, if you know what I mean. Good selection of beer, decent on tap options. Not sure if they do off-menu drinks. The atmosphere is mostly why we come here - this location is probably the least cozy of the three but it still has plenty of little nooks to hunker down in. A good central spot to meetup if you have people coming from around the city.
Sarandos K — Google review
Always a good time. Love the popcorn machine. This is in the neighborhood and I am not into the Friday Saturday night crowd but happy they have incredible business on those nights. It gets really busy Friday and Saturday after 8pm. So if you’re looking to meet some people this is definitely a good spot. Good place to meet friends for happy hour during the week. Excellent service. Good drinks. I love the location because it’s close enough to walk for me.
Kathryn O — Google review
This place gets overly crowded with rude drunk customers, music that plays too loud, and takes forever to get staff to serve a drink. On my last visit, one girl kept going ‘in the back’ as if we couldn’t see her texting someone on her phone while a crowd of people waited. During this visit, the staff forgot about the popcorn and it started to burn, choking customers with the smell. In my opinion, the machine doesn’t seem well attended, and people’s fingers are constantly going into the popcorn because the scoop is left inside and needs to be dug out. I’d go here frequently because my girlfriend lived in the same building above the bar. It has gotten unruly over the past couple years with people breaking bottles outside, cars getting broken into, vomit outside of the bar, and one time we walked out to a man urinating on the windows because the ‘bathroom was full.’ The only bright spot was Sabrina. She’s personable and tries to keep up with everyone’s orders. But usually, with only two bartenders, the wait can keep you from your group for far too long. This place was once a great concept, but the uncomfortable atmosphere tries to be offset by keeping their Christmas lights up year round now. If you don’t set your expectation high and aren’t looking for a large selection of craft beer on tap, you might have a reasonable time.

.. If you are looking for a place to have a nice quiet drink with friends, CAMP Bar in the Third Ward is not the Place for you, on Game Day! I had only been there twice before, once during German Fest and once when the Moon was in the park, down the street. Both of those times there was an applied theme, Germany for one, the Moon for the other. Great mix of people, the staff is superb, outdoor sidewalk deck and parking available.

The Harley-Davidson Museum, located in Milwaukee, is a must-visit for motorcycle enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Established in 2007, this museum showcases the rich heritage of the iconic American brand, drawing over 350,000 visitors annually. Spanning 20 acres along the Milwaukee riverfront, it offers a captivating journey through more than a century of motorcycle culture and innovation.
A great museum showing the motors from Harley-Davison model 1, which is made in year 1903; also it shows special motors built for police, WWII armies, US mail, etc. the most exciting part is to ride on the newest models in the museum, also the hottest models. They are so cool. It is great to visit it with the children, they love watching a lot of motors and ride on the motors, they are so happy. The location is great, it is very near the Discovery Museum and Art museum, together can play for a whole day and have the great dinner and lunch next to the museum. The gift shop is also good to visit, there are 30%-60% off items, which is very good quality and reasonable price.

Informative and well presented. As expected some incredible examples of Harley Davidson engineering and design. An enjoyable experience. And the cafe had excellent food and service. I was disappointed at the entrance fee. Given that this is essentially a marketing experience - I think it should be free.

A must for everyone. So fun to think they started their business in basically a little shed size building. The history and displays are amazing. What a great museum and awesome event location. Had a blast!!

A Must-See in Milwaukee! The Harley-Davidson Museum is an absolute must-do when visiting Milwaukee. It beautifully tells the story of how Harley-Davidson began in 1903 in a small shed and grew into one of the most iconic motorcycle brands in the world. The exhibits showcase historic bikes, racing legends, and design milestones in a modern, engaging way. Right next door you’ll find a large shop — mostly apparel — and a great restaurant on the beautifully designed museum grounds. A perfect stop for anyone interested in innovation, craftsmanship, and American heritage.
Manuela ( — Google review
The Harley-Davidson Museum is more than just a place to see motorcycles—it’s a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and the spirit of the open road. Every exhibit is thoughtfully designed, from the earliest Harley models to the incredible stories of riders who made them legendary. Walking through the museum, you really feel the pride and passion that built not only a brand, but a worldwide community. It’s inspiring to see how Harley has touched so many lives and carried the idea of freedom across generations. Whether you ride or not, this museum is a must-see. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

An incredible experience for anyone who loves motorcycles design or American culture. The museum tells the story of Harley-Davidson with passion and authenticity from its early models to today’s innovations. Each exhibit is beautifully presented with vintage bikes rare memorabilia and interactive displays that make history come alive. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming and the shop and café added to the overall charm. A must visit destination in Milwaukee that celebrates freedom creativity and the open road.
Gönenç K — Google review
I thought this was a very nice museum. It’s filled with lots of iconic bikes that roll off the line. The only thing is I wish they would’ve had some of the customized bikes. I understand that the people customize them by their selves, but they’re usually customized with Harley Davidson parts.
Jody L — Google review
My husband was born on a Harley Davidson and he was like a child visiting the museum. There were so many Harley’s from every year and every period. There was even fun for the young ones (I’m 62) with a makeshift Harley to ride. There was also a special hallway honoring African American riders and African American female riders. I loved the exhibits.

Milwaukee Public Market is a bustling marketplace located in the city's Historic Third Ward, offering a diverse range of local culinary delights. The industrial-chic setting houses numerous vendors selling everything from baked goods and cheeses to meats and fresh produce. Visitors can indulge in an array of prepared meals, including Thai sushi rolls, chicken Tikka Masala, specialty cupcakes, deli sandwiches, pizza, and grilled meats.
What a super cool place, a hidden gem, you don’t even know it’s here! One of the oldest in the country, all kinds of places to eat and get drinks. All kinds of food here from Seafood to Mediterranean to Italian to Mexican, all kinds of cheeses and ! You can even go up top on the walk around and sit down and enjoy a table and some space to eat or drink what you bought! Highly recommend if you’re going to visit Milwaukee!
Babes B — Google review
Visiting from Melbourne Australia and this is my second time here. This is a place that I would recommend everyone visit in Milwaukee, the market is small but it is diverse and capacious enough that there is likely something for everyone regardless of one's interests. There's a sense of movement in vitality pulsating throughout the market, and the clocks depicting the times in other great markets around the world is a bit of symbolism that feels earned. Yes, this place does feel about as culturally rich as the likes of Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne and that is a high compliment. This is probably the place one should go in order to experience the lifestream of the city, and all its earnestness and all its love of beer and cheese and many different varieties of meats. St Paul Fish Company is our go which is a particular specialty. Even vegetarians and vegans can find something to love and enjoy here: it's that large and cavernous.

Loved it here! As a foodie, hearing there's an entire market jam packed with impeccable food, I was RUNNING - which isn't common for me. And it did not disappoint!!! Anything you could want is in there. You can easily waste way too much time in here picking through vendors. (Ask how I know) Sandwiches, seafood, asian cuisine, BBQ, coffee shops, spice shops, candy shops, ice cream, bakeries, florists, delis. There is seriously so much to try here. You need to check it out! Come with your wallet, you'll need it.
Alyssa F — Google review
this market was so quaint and adorable to visit! Prices seemed slightly high, although for most of the vendors being private, they have to fit the demands of inflation. The coffee shop was very nice, lots of availability for lunch and dinner offerings. Many options for parking garages, but you can definitely find on street parking if you search hard enough. Would highly recommend when traveling to the greater Milwaukee Wisconsin area!!!!!

This is a really fun and cool place to visit. All kinds of food to eat, to take home or eat there. They have a fish market, a deli, Mexican restaurant, coffee bar, liquor bar and so much more. So much to see taste and enjoy. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by.

We had a great meal and great service. The Brewery Nachos appetizer could easily be a meal. The pretzel crusted chicken was very good. The beer cheese sauce covering this meal is awesome! Tim had the Makers Mark Bourbonzola burger. It was very good. We will definitely eat here again.

Overall a good experience. We sat outside by the river with our dog, the place was pretty busy as it was Harley Anniversary Week so we were told there was a wait. Buzzer went off before I could even get our drinks from the bar so that was great. Started with the cheese curds which were AMAZING. For entrees, my wife ordered the margarita pizza but when it came out it had a layer of black dust on the bottom. The pizza was cooked perfect but whatever the black crumbs were took away from the taste (not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be served). I had the boubonzola burger which tasted amazing but I ordered medium and it came out well done. Very minor things in the grand scheme of things, especially with how busy they were. We will come back at a slower time for a second chance.

The food and drinks myself and my party had at this location were so wonderful. We had the chicken flautas as an appetizer which cane with 6 full size flautas so we were able to split 3 ways nicely. Garnish for them was over the top could have almost had it as a side salad. Do not pass up their lime sauce. Additionally, with my order I decided to go with a cuban mojito for my beverage and the waiter suggested the mango. That ended up being very good and I followed that up with the strawberry cuban mojito. Which was also good, but not as great as the mango! I believe I had the Spicy Chicken burger/sandwich off of their menu with a side of fries. I ate everything and was totally satisfied. My s/o had the jambalaya and my friend had one of the jalapeno burger options (and a couple of the craft beers). The price was pretty steep but it was great for a meal option visiting milwaukee. It was nice that they participated in an event discount of 10% off. Service was quick considering how packed they were. I retract 1 star because the waiter left us hanging after he presented the bill. We walked to the hostess station because he took so long we thought we had to pay there. but were told by the hostess that the waiter should be back to take care of that. We had a time-schedule so we had to get going asap.

So, the food and beer is pretty good here. I do think there is some level of mismanagement based on understaffing and inability to cook sufficiently to keep up with their crowd. It’s a big place, but their capacity doesn’t seem to be limited to the chairs, but something in the kitchen.

I had the Chicken Waldorf Salad and Sangria Margarita and both were delicious!! The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the apple chips gave a nice unique texture contrast. I would have never thought to combine sangria and a margarita, but you will savor every sip from the moment it hits your lips. If it’s warm enough, I highly recommend sitting on the patio to enjoy the city and river views-it makes for a perfect night out!

Nestled in the historic Mackie Building, Swingin' Door Exchange is a charming downtown pub with a saloon-like ambiance. Dating back to the end of Prohibition in 1933, this former speakeasy now offers a cozy setting with wood-paneled walls and stained glass lamps. It's a popular spot for downtown workers seeking American comfort food and cocktails. The tavern's location between downtown and the Historic Third Ward makes it easily accessible for visitors exploring Milwaukee.

In Milwaukee for business and looking for a quick bite, we stumbled upon Swingin' Door Exchange — what a great find! It was so good, we went back again the next day before heading to the airport. Packed at lunchtime, it’s clearly a local favorite with a great vibe. Everyone was friendly and working hard to keep things moving. The burgers and chicken were delicious, but the real stars were the brussels sprouts and beet side dishes — absolutely mouthwatering. This is officially my go-to spot whenever I’m in town!

I never knew Milwaukee is famous for food! Got this restaurant rec from local we met in shop. They told us to come here. We went there twice since we couldn’t get in at first visit due to long wait. No reservations walk in only. Glad we could make the next day for brunch. We came there 10 min before it opened. Everything was good! Truly Wisconsin traditional home meal.

We came here just for the Friday Fish Fry because we are good (non) Catholics! Husband had 4 pieces of the Lake Perch with fries, and I had 2 pieces of the Cod with House Chips and Cajun Ranch, with an additional side of Spicy Vermouth Carrots. Husband loved everything, and ate everything! I loved the cod, the chips with Cajun Ranch, and even the coleslaw that comes with. German-style coleslaw with a bite from the caraway. The Vermouth Carrots are grilled to the point of being charred, which I was really excited for, but husband and I had mixed feelings. I found them not flavorful enough, and quite dry. They needed more spice and I wanted them to be sweeter, too. I didn't need them to be glazed but something would have kicked it up. Or some kind of fat - oil, butter, something. We were headed to the State Fair later so I knew this was the last vegetable I'd get for a while, so I ate them, but I did not enjoy them. This is a Pub's Pub - very publike. But not a gross pub, I didn't need to be glad the lights were dim. It felt clean, but definitely a traditional dark wood, carpeted pub.

This was easily one of the best dining experiences I've had! They were very busy, but we got a table quickly, and our drinks and food came out in a timely fashion. The wait staff was very personable, and everything felt very clean! I got the Big KC burger and my table ordered ribs as an appetizer, and they were among the best burgers and ribs I've had in my life (and there's been no shortage of burgers in my life). It wasn't inexpensive, but you definitely get more than what you pay for!

The swinging door was formally a western union telegraph office in its youth, the bar is inside the mackie building where the grain exchange was located, now for the good stuff the beer came out cold and the cod fish fry was crisp and hot, yes I must admit I love a good Friday night Wisconsin fish fry and the swinging door was a great choice, parking is the area can be a real pain but the area is worth visiting
Trucking K — Google review
My last visit to the Swinging Door completely changed my mind for the better. The food really stood out this time. It's not necessarily an amazing dining experience, taste-wise, but knowing that the food is cooked well is always great. This place on Michigan Street is tight-"cozy tight," as said before. It's an old-school saloon that's packed with tables and has a loud, busy, and fast-paced feel. While we had a 30-minute wait on our first visit, this time was different. It was a busy Friday night, and we walked in just 15 minutes before the kitchen closed at 10 PM, but they seated us right away with no problem. Service still seemed a bit stretched thin, but they were attentive and got the job done well. The menu is classic American comfort food, and this time, they nailed it. It feels like it was put together by real chefs. I ordered the Big KC burger, and it was a huge portion. The mozzarella sticks were also good. Everything came out fresh and warm-a complete turnaround from my first visit when some dishes were just mediocre. After this experience, I'll definitely be back.

The menu features local Usinger Sausages made daily across the street and giant pretzels imported from Munich.
Becky was an awesome waitress! Everything she recommended was delicious and all of the guests and staff were friendly. Definitely stop by for great beer and traditional German food!!

This place was a great surprise!! We tried a sampler platter. Everything was exactly what German food should taste like.
Laura J — Google review
Can't complain about the service, as it's non existent. (Update: Just watched an elderly couple walk out after waiting 60minutes) One waitress and one chef rostered on for the whole dinner service. I'm sure the waitress and Chef were doing their best but tables were left waiting extremely long to order and even longer for food to arrive. Management need to roster on more staff. Interior decor aims to meet that of a German beer hall and looks reasonable.

This place looked like a nice spot at first glance, but there is one server and one bartender for the whole spot. On top of that, my whole family orders schnitzel and when they came out, they came out without any mushroom gravy. When we asked they said they were “out of gravy”, yet nobody ever told us before we ordered that they would not have the gravy on the meal. The whole meal ended up being super dry and definitely not worth its price. I expected more from hofbrau house since we traveled from Florida to try it. Avoid this spot if possible. I’m sorry if you chose to eat here and experienced the same.

This restaurant oozes with old world charm! Our waitress Bri was amazing - fun, friendly and attentive even on a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely delicious. We split the OGBH platter and everything on that plate was spot on. Tasty Hefeweizen! Must try the apple strudel - it was just the right level of sweet with fresh whipped cream and warm gooey apples. Can't wait for another trip to Milwaukee to return to this gem.

We ordered the giant pretzel with the cheese spread—delicious and perfect for sharing. Tried a German beer, and the bartender recommended adding lemonade to make it a shandy. We loved it! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely a fun spot to stop by in Milwaukee.

Slim & Christian were great bartenders... PROFESSIONALS! Slim gave us a shot of Killepitsch... A liqueur that is better than Jagermeister. The pretzel was insane! The beer was beyond amazing. If you come to Milwaukee, come here and be ready to drink some amazing beer!

If you're on the hunt for a quintessential American sports pub experience, look no further than Who's on Third in Downtown Milwaukee. This lively establishment is perfect for catching your favorite games, thanks to its impressive array of large screens and a massive projection screen that ensures you won't miss a moment of the action. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, featuring charming brown maple floors and olive green walls adorned with historical Milwaukee artwork.
Stopped in for lunch before going to Chano’s Warehouse next door. Staff was super friendly. Tasty St Patty’s cocktails. I had a burger which was exactly what you hope a bar burger would taste like. Greasy, flavorful and delicious. My friend had chicken tenders in a yummy tempura type breading. We had cheese curds for appetizers…. Yum! Prices are spot on in my opinion. Food was great. Cocktails were great. Excellent service.
TM D — Google review
I would rate as a 3.5, but I’m rounding down because of the overall average score. I’m also dropping a point because of the gratuity situation I detail below. I’ll modify it back upward if there’s some clarity. We sat on the front patio during lunch service. The good came out fairly quickly. We had a salad and some wraps. Ordering the chicken “blackened” is the right move. Pricing was reasonable for lunch and drinks. Even though only 3 of us were seated, the bill included an automatic “large group gratuity” of 20%. I’m guessing it’s just added to every patio service, but I think it should be clearly stated on the menus. I normally tip 25-30% so I don’t care about the amount, but I almost tipped 25% on top of the 20% gratuity. I feel like it was intentionally misleading on the part of the restaurant. I also hope that the 20% is actually a gratuity and not a service charge absorbed by the business. I understand wanting to protect the servers especially with the extra distance for serving outside…but I have questions….

Second time coming to this restaurant and still had a great time! I think they have the best cheese curds I have ever had. Fresh battered. Giant curds. Make sure you get the special sauce. They are awesome. The brat options were phenomenal. This area has a lot to offer. If you’re looking for some good food with a fun environment you should definitely give Who’s On Third a look

What a great experience we had as out of towners! Our server was excellent (I didn't get her name which is terrible of me). The gumbo... oh my goodness. So good!! We were staying downtown and chose Who's on Third because they offer a shuttle to Brewers games. Our server explained how it all worked and both shuttle drivers made sure they checked in with us when they were getting ready to depart, to ask if we were ready or wanted to wait. It was just a great experience overall and we will definitely visit again next time we are in town.
Volleyballtigger — Google review
Good game atmosphere and above average pub fare. Servers all seem good, but the bar tenders are hit and miss, some are good and some of them spend too much time on their phones. You may wait a long time for a second drink unless you waive your arms repeatedly to get their attention.
Brian A — Google review
Great bar food but unfortunately the staff don’t hide the fact that they don’t care to service Black people. The greetings and hospitality is so different from anyone else who comes in and I hate that because I love to tip big to people in the service industry. I have gently mentioned this observation every time I’ve been there. Not one server or bartender has yet to deny what I say or explain anything. Just dismiss it and keep going. This is Wisconsin though. 🤷

Bavette La Boucherie is a unique butcher shop and cafe located in the Historic Third Ward. Chef Karen Bell, an experienced industry professional, established this place in 2013 to offer sustainable meats and a cozy bistro experience. The shop provides locally sourced ingredients for customers to purchase charcuterie or prime cuts of meat. Additionally, it features outdoor seating and serves old world pub fare at Brown Bottle. Visitors can enjoy delicious sandwiches and phenomenal meats while savoring the expansive beer selection.
Had an amazing lunch in Milwaukee! Our server, Meg was super friendly, helpful, and gave us the best recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the deviled eggs, fresh salad, and the star of the meal, the Reuben. Great food and even better service!
Tamara D — Google review
Just came up a little shy of expectations. Staff super great. Waitlist for bar seating great, texted on time. Everyone was friendly and relaxed. Seating at bar had a pole such that the staff couldn’t consistently talk to us from one side or the other, with a dishes station in front of us. The stools at the bar do not slide on the floor which makes them a bit unwieldy. Food mostly came up short Hamachi crudo, four thin pieces for $24, had too much going on and it overpowered the fish itself Lions mane schnitzel very creative, couldn’t remember all the ingredients and probably missed some notable notes as a result. One of us didn’t like the texture. Pate grandmere needed salt or something, we had higher hopes when told it was house-made. Very one-note. Pickles served with it were fantastic, detected some unusual pickling spices. Maybe we didn’t get the dishes that best showcased the chef talent. We loved the atmosphere and the drinks were solid. I would try again when we are on our next Milwaukee run.

Such a lovely restaurant. Beautiful, airy interior. Although the tables felt somewhat close to each other, the high ceilings still make it feel spacious. I also like that there's a little shopping area in the front. The food was great, including some inventive dishes, and our server was knowledgable and accommodating. One of our friends had a nut allergy and she didn't make a big deal of it at all and ordered what she could, but since quite a few things on their menu included nuts, the restaurant was so kind in giving her one of the nut-free appetizers on the house for her to enjoy. I thought that was such a kind gesture that they didn't even have to do and my friend greatly appreciated it.
Kayla H — Google review
Chef choice charcuterie was fantastic! I loved the honey spread and homemade crackers. The roasted carrot salad was very well balanced, the prunes with pistachios with baba ghanoush! The steak sandwich had a lot of flavors competing for first, the steak had a heavy char which did taste bitter. The latte was awesome, I didn’t even add sugar.
Lacey C — Google review
It was my first time at Bavette and everything was absolutely perfect! The attention to detail, food taste, service and outgoing, attentive staff are what stood out to me most. I had the chicken sandwich with fries and garlic aoli, WiscoPop Old Fashioned, Sangria, and pudding for dessert, and it was all delectable. I'll definitely be back!

Outstanding!! Food was on point yet creative. Server stellar. We loved the beef tartare and steak. You can tell they put a lot of thought into vegetables there instead of treating them as side dishes.

Nestled in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, Goodkind is a charming restaurant and corner tavern housed in a renovated residential building. Embracing a modern take on farm-to-fork cuisine, this inviting eatery offers inventive seasonal dishes and house cocktails in a relaxed setting. The menu features shareable small plates, succulent rotisserie meats, and fresh salads sourced from local farms.
My new favorite restaurant in MKE! The food was divine and delicious—the mezzaluna pasta and the cod fillet were stand-outs for sure! The service was also amazing, our server was so kind. The ambience is so cozy, perfect for a Sunday night dinner or date night. Also, the butterfly pea flower gin and tonic is one of the best cocktails I've ever had!

This place is an absolute gem! We sat outside on a beautiful Summer night. We tried many of the dishes, had some signature cocktails, and had a very relaxed pace. No one ever rushed us. The service was incredible! The food was even better! Highly recommend!

We finally checked out Goodkind thanks to a gift certificate and we’re so glad we did! It’s right in our neighborhood, yet somehow we’d never been. The service was outstanding, the drinks were excellent, and every dish was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even better. We had no idea what we were missing! Easily one of the best restaurants in all of Milwaukee.

Wonderful restaurant! From the moment you arrive 15 minutes early, only to discover that you're 45 minutes early, the staff here will take great care of you and make you feel a little less embarrassed. The cocktails are varied and delicious. The wine is limited but covers all the bases well enough. The food though, is the star of the show. Everything was spectacular. I heard that they were known for their lamb, so had that, and it was in the top 3 lamb dishes I've ever had. Tried all our group's dishes and they were all equally superb. Prices are fair for quality food. The vibe is very relaxed. Parking is on the street but fairly easy. Highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the appetizers, but the food was great, would definitely recommend and go back. We shared the Champagne Battered Oyster Mushrooms and the Duck and (I think it was pork) Meat Balls for appetizers. Both were great, mushrooms were crisply with a hint of champagne with the honey vinaigrette balancing out the dish. The meat balls were tender and juicy. For mains we had the Spicy Crab Pasta and Fennel Pollen Dry Brined Amish Chicken. Both were fantastic. The Spicy Crab was the perfect amount of spiciness, albeit I can eat pretty spicy so ymmv on the spice level, the ragu was flavourful and had nice body to it. The chicken was super tender and full of flavour. I can see why it is one of their best sellers. We also had the Chocolate Stout Cake and the Mocha Eclair Cake for dessert. We unanimously preferred the Mocha Eclair Cake over the Stout Cake. All in all we very much enjoyed our night there and would recommend to all visiting Milwaukee.

My husband and I went here for dinner and had an outstanding meal. We arrived slightly early for our reservation but the restaurant got us a seat right away. Our waitress was great and thoroughly went over the menu with us as it was our first time there. She made sure the explain what menu items were always there and what ones were just seasonal. We started off with the oyster mushrooms, they were delicious. I ordered the Duroc Pork Chop and my husband got the Skate Cheek. Both were very good. They also had a nice selection of cocktails as well as NA cocktails. My only slight complaint of the whole experience was the oyster mushrooms could have been a bit hotter but even with that I would still definitely get them again. We will certainly be back next time we are in Milwaukee!

Had a lovely time at Goodkind in the lovely Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee. Party of 3. First time for me but my guests had been there several times. Easy street parking. We had early evening reservation and were seated on time in a nice booth with street view. Cute place , nice decor. Outstanding service- host, servers, food runner, etc were all VERY good- attentive, knowledgeable, professional, friendly. Loved the mocktails and the extensive and creative mocktail and NA beer list. Good food and creative rotating menu. Good portions served at appropriate temp with reasonable wait time. We started with shared oysters and Cesar salad. My only food comments—the skate cheeks entree would have been very good except it was saltier than expected or necessary. Not enough to send back but over salted for my taste. I also thought the salad was a little bit overdressed and also a bit salty. Total tab for 3 including tax, 3% credit card fee and tip was $258. All in all- I will definitely go back in the future.

This place was so cool. My friend picked the place so I had no clue what was in store and may o say, I was so pleasantly impressed. I absolutely love the different outdoor seating options. The vibe here is perfect. The drinks and service were great. We got the mezcal drink and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming again when I’m back in town!

OK, this place has a nice view and good ambiance, but overpriced drinks. Ordered something the waitress said was like a frozen margarita for $16. It was in a tiny glass, maybe 6oz? It was smaller than the water glass! We just laughed; it was like a big shot glass. 😆
Sam W — Google review
Now I love the atmosphere in this place never had an issue whenever I come. Yesterday around 10pm we waited to be greeted at the bar. There were 3 bartenders and 2 other people who were just cleaning the area. No one ever came up to greet and acknowledge me and my partner. I understand it was busy we weren’t being pushy at all. As we waited we noticed were being overlooked and discriminated. I felt beyond dismissed. There were other people who were acknowledged and order taken that came up to the bar after us. Also there was a white guy and white girl who never showed any customer service to us and actually laughed that we said “hey can you take our order” after we noticed the bartenders didn’t want to take our order. We don’t know if it was because we were black and regular dressed? we should have never been treated this way. The one bartender who was black that took our order was not so welcoming either. The attitude he displayed wasn’t pleasant at all. I felt so uncomfortable, outcasted and honestly disgusted that we were treated with much prejudice. We left the establishment wondering what we did or said? If the manger or owner would like a follow up I’m sure to give it. I’ve never felt like this before leaving this place I’m so sad that I don’t feel comfortable ever going here again. I hope there are training videos on cultural diversity because last night was definitely a showcase of racism. -Mya. Drink was 8/10

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who make amazing cocktails. Especially Laura who does a phenomenal job and can make amazingly fun delicious drinks and brings a lot of friendliness and fire behind the bar!!! The fall menu is a hit with their Cruel Intentions and Genie in a Jam. The sandman while delicious felt like it was missing a charcuterie board to really round it out!! Dark horse try the tomatini while it's still on the menu!!

Emma is literally the world’s best bartender. She said she was a bartender for 5 days, I would NOT have known it. I asked her to make the dirtiest, filthiest martini with Kettle One vodka and the olives they have (that are made with dill pickles, green olives, and tomatoes, mind you), and it was the best dirty martini I’ve ever had in my 30 years existence. Their tomatini is sensational also!!! ASK FOR EMMA!!!

Good City Brewing is a modern brewery located in the lively East Side of Milwaukee. The spacious and industrial-chic taproom offers a wide selection of craft beers, beer-inspired cocktails, wine, and delicious American plates. With a production brewery, urban taproom, and a charming rooftop terrace, it's an inviting venue for enjoying sunny rooftop lunches or happy hour drinks. The East Side location boasts an intimate rooftop patio with eight taps featuring their own brewed beers.
We visited the East Side location on a Sunday late morning. The neighborhood was quiet and parking was free and convenient. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Stuffed Milwaukee Pretzel—fantastic! We also shared Loaded Cheese Curds which were drizzled with southwest ranch and garlic herb mayo—the epitome of Midwest greatness. Hubby loved the Good City Amber Lager!

3/16/25 UPDATE: Good City's response read in a very peculiar & impersonal manner, so I put it into several online "AI checkers" (as well as my original post for a reference point). I am disappointed to say 100% of their response to my concern was AI-generated. See attached for evidence. This is very disrespectful to a homegrown customer base, and I am shocked the new management team would handle customer opinions - when delivered respectfully & intended to improve the organization, as mine was - with such contempt. The Explorium Hospitality Group has now shown twice they prioritize profits over customer experiences: first with providing substandard food (& no concrete resolution), and now foregoing any attempt at basic customer relations to rectify an unhappy patron. Changed rating from 2/5 to 1/5 stars. ORIGINAL POST: This grilled chicken sandwich + curry fries was ~$22 with tax, tip and a 3% "restaurant fee." As you can tell by the photos, it was mostly lettuce, tomatoes & bun – and the sliver of chicken wasn’t special in terms of flavor or quality. I expected much more, both in terms of quality and quantity of chicken. The fries are great, and the staff is wonderful and welcoming as always! But it feels like management (now owned by Explorium Hospitality Group, who has 5 other locations) is more focused on cost-cutting and maximizing profits than delivering a satisfying meal.

Solid brewery with good beers in a variety of styles. I really enjoyed the West Coast IPA. The restaurant area is great with lots of different seating options. I had the Fish Fry and enjoyed it. Overall, a solid experience.

Came here for dinner and was treated to a Friday fish fry. If you like a thicker breaded fish fry this is the spot. My partner got the chili with all the toppings and gave it a 4.4 out of 5. Our friend had a spicy chicken sandwich and had nothing but good things to say. They offer a wide range of beers/flights to appease whatever your taste buds desire.

Food was enjoyable! Great selection and quality; above most brewery kitchens. Beer selection was solid. Service was friendly and helpful!
Alex J — Google review
Excellent meal and exceptional beer! I feel like the beer here is really underrated. If you are an IPA fan you will have tons of exciting options, and there are of course options for other beer drinkers too. German beer drinkers will be left wanting however. Food was delicious! I ordered the Dill Pickle Burger which is a limited edition special they are offering. It had a nice ensemble of savory dill pickle flavors as well as an unusual but inviting sweet flavor. No clash of flavors and a welcome guest for my tongue. Salad was exceptional for a side salad. It is unfortunate that so many side salads fall off to the side at restaurants but the side salad here was an exception. The Italian vinaigrette added a layer of complexity with a gently spicy profile, but not to fret the cucumber and pickled onion balance out any spice that might scare some away. Price was a little high, but understandable for the quality that you get from the food and beer. I will definitely be dining here again for both the beer and food and can't recommend enough! I do wish they had more merchandise to offer, that's my only major critique...
Naoise G — Google review
Good food and good beer. What more could you ask for!? There is plenty of seating here, so bring your friends AND your family! Loved hanging out at this place on a rainy Tues. The beer tender gave great suggestions which only made the hot honey wings taste even better. If you like the place and want to rep it, check out their swag.
David P — Google review
The drinks were amazing! We got a Bloody Mary, Hazy IPA, stout, and a cider. All of them tasted amazing. I think the Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had. The food on the other hand, it was ok. It tasted fine, but we had to wait 50-ish minutes to get any food at all, and they never offered anything for their lacking here. We almost walked out. The food wasn't spectacular, and the wait was too long, but the service and drinks were amazing. They understood it was slow, and just said they were sorry, which is fair, they're a bar, not a restaurant. The ideal situation would be to go there, get a bloody Mary, some curry fries and chill. That, I will make a habit of doing, and honestly, you should too. Go there for drinks and a snack. Overall, it was a positive experience, I will 100% return, I just won't return for a meal.

Its dark wooden walls, taxidermy, and antique chandeliers give off an old American frontier cabin vibe. The outdoor patio hosts Taco Moto truck for gourmet tacos to pair with their specialty cocktails.
I had a great experience for my first time here. My drink was spot on mixed to perfection…the atmosphere was completely chill, laid back and perfect for a date. The tacos are amazing and on my second visit 1/10/24 they started an online pickup window in the bar so you don’t have to brave the cold to get deliciousness. How awesome is that!!

A nice taste of Milwaukee. Right on the lake, good non expensive drinks, local food trucks and dog friendly! The music is a bit loud at times so not ideal to sit inside if you want to have an intimate convo. However, the lakeside seating and the patio were tranquil.

Well, I visited Boone & Crockett for a boat ride to celebrate my son's 30th Birthday. The boat ride was great! Perfect weather, sunny, with a light breeze. Our cruise included a trip under the Hoan Bridge, and then back along the Milwaukee River to Lakefront Brewery, and then back, past Boone & Crockett, motoring past Barnacle Buds, until we returned after a two-hour voyage. It was a blast. Certainly a neat voyage along the buildings and scenes of downtown Milwaukee. I did get a peek inside Boone & Crockett, but a visit inside the bar will need to wait until the open later in the day. Cheers!

I love this place. Great view, good vibes. It gets crowded in the summer so don’t always count on getting a table by the water. Still worth the visit though!! Enjoy coming here Sundays for their all day happy hour.

The place has a great vibe with the aesthetic but the music is so loud inside you can't communicate and the music type is usually always loud remixed DJ style club music when everything including the table side candles saying more intimate chill vibes. The place has an identity crisis but the drinks are good. Just wanted to let people know before bringing yourself or the group there. Side note on nice days the outside by the lake is really nice.

OK - def one of the better cocktails I’ve had in the city. I had their on-special Mezcal with banana liqueur drink ($12). Woah 👌🏼 Not only that, but the environment is just too unique. This is a great date spot. Even if you don’t like the eclectic inside, you can take it to the patio. Massive patio on the river, multiple food trucks. How can you and a party or large group NOT be happy coming here?? This is it. This is the bar that you’ve been looking for in MKE. Parking is ok down here. You’ll have to park on the street. It’s pretty much in its own pocket within a sort of marina district. Also, service was pretty sweet too. Thanks!

At Random offers a menu-less experience where patrons can approach the bar and have the bartender create a customized drink based on their preferences.
The atmosphere is great, the red lighting provides a romantic and cozy vibe and the ice cream drinks are delicious. Really appreciate that they can be made vegan as well!! The service is a little slow but understandable as it was busy. Overall a great date night location, can't wait to come back and sit outside.

I went to At Random for my 21st birthday which was so fun! My crew each had a different ice cream drink and they were soooo delicious. My honest review is that honestly the flavor could have been a little stronger for some of them but other than that they were sweet and tasty. I didn’t try any of their normal cocktails so I can’t speak to that. The atmosphere definitely was lounge vibes it’s dark and although they provide little lights know that it’s dark and moody and a little noisy. But it’s the whole point so that’s great! The wait staff were super friendly and did not “bother” us too often helped to enhance the overall vibe. The place was well decorated and had a nice outside area that was for self serve window style. Overall would love to go again!!!

Time machine here...At Random. My wife and I lived in Bay View in the 1990s, a block from At Random. Returning now, in 2025, 30 years later - it all felt very much the same inside. Dim red lighting, booth seats, a friendly bar, welcoming staff - and tons of flavorful drinks. We just had dinner at Three Brothers Restaurant a few blocks away, so we opted for Ice Cream Drinks for dessert. Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers and a Grasshopper were ordered and all taste delicious! Step back in time folks, to a quiet, enjoyable "Milwaukee-Famous" location that I'm sure you'll love.

My favorite bar in the world, seriously. Live in Chicago and come to Milwaukee frequently (where my bf is from) We hit At Random every single time we are in town. The vibe is amazing. Feels like you were transported back in time. We’ve tried about 10 different milkshakes, and each one is so dang good. My favorite is definitely the Grasshopper and the Strawberry Blondie, but every single one has been great. We’ve also tried a few different cocktails and they were also great. The ice cream they use is truly the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. (I believe it’s Cedar Crest?) Great vibes, Great service, Great Drinks, Great Prices for what you get!

We made a reservation. I recommend doing that. If there is no seating at the bar, you will not be allowed to stand and order. If you miss your reservation within 15 minutes, they will no longer accommodate it. There were eight of us. It was a Sunday night. We each ordered an ice cream drink. The snicker bar, the pink squirrel, the grasshopper, the chocolate raspberry. They have a happy hour that ended at 7 o’clock. $8 ice cream drinks, regularly $13. Drinks were delicious. But I was disappointed that half my drink was whipped cream. We were there for the experience and THAT did not disappoint. This is a classic Milwaukee cocktail lounge. A must when visiting.

My husband and I had a great time stopping here for some after dinner drinks. Our bartender, Jamie, provided great recommendations as well as made excellent drinks. She as well as the other bartender were very kind in answering all of our questions. The drinks were reasonably priced and top quality. I also appreciated the selection of non alcoholic drinks that were offered! We will definitely be coming back when we are in Milwaukee next!

Another fantastic bar from John Dye. Great drinks. They specialize in ice-cream drinks but the menu is loaded with delicious options of all kind of cocktails. Fun retro atmosphere. Really good bartenders here. Safe close street parking.

Nomad World Pub, located on Brady Street in the Lower East Side, is a popular tavern known for its extensive beer selection and lively soccer atmosphere. The bar features a tin ceiling and offers dozens of beers along with soccer matches on TV, trivia nights, and DJ events. During the summer months, Nomad partners with Club Brady to open Brady Beach, expanding its colorful patio onto North Warren Avenue.
We always enjoy our breakfast and coffee at Nomad! I especially love their chorizo burrito.

We went here one day on vacation and had delicious food (I enjoyed a Clean Slate and my partner liked their 'Merica sandwich). Good coffee as well. Barista was friendly! We went back here one evening for a beer, and it was a pretty good atmosphere at night as well. Not overly loud, well-lit, and decent seating options.

Front bar wasn’t open so we went round the side to area that looked like a shack! Went to watch the second half of the Aston Villa game, it had a cool vibe with plenty of football fans, great choice of beer, great staff, shout out to the guy who had recently had a spine operation, next level friendly. 100% would visit again when over from England

Great beer selection, amazing bloodies (you’d think you’re at a pricy third ward spot), phenomenal staff. Milwaukee has a lot of soccer bars (and some are pretty good), but Nomad is hands down the best. Most of the fans that come here are incredible, but the people who work there are really what make it. My husband and I have gone every weekend (if not the additional weekday match) for years and it’s always an amazing time. Alicia is the absolute best! She always knows our order and somehow manages to keep everyone happy on a packed day. The Nomad has changed a lot over the last decade that I’ve been going (most of them good changes), but the thing that always keep us going are the people. Nomad is our slightly louder, more neon version of Cheers. Who doesn’t want that? Hope this place never changes.

As most bars on Brady, there will be tons of college kids on the weekends. Any other time though there are people of all ages watching soccer or other sports or just hanging out. I am happily a regular here because it’s a very relaxed spot even when it’s packed with people. What I love most is all the outdoor seating they have. There’s an enclosed area between the bar and the coffee shop, and more seating out on the street. It’s a great area to watch a game or people watch on Brady. Even when it’s 20 degrees out they’re still serving at the outdoor area. The service here is great too. From the bartenders to bouncers to the guy slinging burgers in the back. I have not yet had a negative experience here. Everyone is friendly and warm! Last, their food is decent. I had a Nomad Burger from the shack towards the back and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the maple bacon jam which was a nice touch that didn’t overpower everything else! They do just enough with their burgers to make them special. Nomad is always the first and last stop on a night out. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

Best soccer pub this side of the UK. Don't come here during a Liverpool game unless you're willing to sing raucous songs and down pints! There'll be lots of shots on goal but the shots are reposado and the goal is your gullet. Grab a bite at the Nomad Coffee Bar when you get nippish.

Nestled in the vibrant Bay View neighborhood, Burnhearts is a charming local bar that perfectly captures the essence of Milwaukee's nightlife. This cozy spot is a haven for both craft beer enthusiasts and cocktail lovers, boasting an impressive selection of rare brews and seasonal cocktails crafted by the talented Katie Rose. The inviting ambiance features dim red lighting and intriguing decor, creating an intimate setting for patrons to unwind.
We have driven by many times and have always wanted to stop in. We stopped by for a quick drink or two before going to dinner. There is plenty of outdoor space for those warmer days, but since it was chilly out we went inside. Eclectic, classic, hometown bar feel on the inside. We ordered an old fashioned and one of the cocktails on tap, Hop Wop. Drinks were great and service was kind. We would love to stop by sometime in the summer and tray some more of the menu

I've been to this bar many times but this time was the worst experience I've had there. On July 13 I went to this bar with a group of 6 to honor my friend PO Corder which me and him use to frequent this bar a lot. The service was terrible took forever to get a drink with 3 bartenders behind the bar at one point. Anytime I would go to the bar I had to wait a good amount of time just to be able to order a drink. There was times the bartender who wasnt busy just walked past me without acknowledgement. My friend ordered some Japanese liquor shots and it was zeroed out and charged as something else idk what that was about seem pretty weird to me. My friends closed their tabs no problem. When it was time for me to close my tab I had to wait one bartender left the bar as I had been standing there for about 10 mins and the other bartender walked to the other end of the bar and just started chit chatting with another customer. They both just blantly ignored me. I asked to close my tab and the bartender just gives me my card. I ask aren't I supposed to sign something and how am I supposed to tip. The bartender says dont worry about it it's already done. I told her thats not how that goes I didn't even get a reciept. She says it didn't print. I ask her to reprint it and she claimed she couldn't find it. The other bartender returns and I asked to speak with her. Instead of helping me she went to the defense of her coworker immediately stating you might have hit the wrong button on the card reader. In which I told her I never got one. I told her about the other bartender saying the tip was already done and I wanted a reciept because thats not how that works. Both bartenders began arguing with me at this time defending whatever was done. Eventually a reciept was printed off I was able to look at but for some reason couldn't keep. The bartender I was originally dealing with tipped herself with my card and without my signature. After mentioning and trying to converse with the bartenders to fix the problem because thats stealing they told me to leave. I told them to just keep the tip and me and my friend began to leave. As I was walking out the door the original bartender began yelling at me about the tip beging taken off. My friend got upset because we were half way out the door so what was even the point. Me and my friend were leaving and I still wanted a reciept so I went back in and asked for a reciept of the transaction. I was given one asked the bartender if she needed the copy because I would take a picture and give it back. She said she didn't know but took the reciept and took a picture of it herself and held it in her had. I had to ask for it back and then I left the bar. Use to love coming to this bar now I will probably stay away. Definitely dont want to get treated like im not wanted somewhere with attitudes and being stolen from by a bartender.

So, I'm so sad to have to do this. We are neighbors to burnhearta and have in the past so enjoyed this location. Not sure if things have changed or it was the Sunday evening bartender working, but we felt so unwelcomed and almost annoying to him. Mind you, we we were the only customers that walked in at around 10 pm. Ugh, so sad to say and annoyed that we were not very welcomed when the place was literally dead

This neighborhood bar has it all! We popped in while waiting for our table to be ready. The bartender was awesome! She was so sweet and funny. We had a “Dreamsicle” and a “I’m not a Taurus”. Both the cocktails were complex and balanced. They both had a level of tiki influence which really sold both of us. Also this place has a beautiful dim warm and welcoming atmosphere which I really love. I also love that there was no Tv.

This is such a wonderful spot in Bayview. Really lovely drink menu, a super kind staff (that helped me with a card issue super professionally and it was a mistake on my end basically not theirs!) They do tons of local artist collaborations , a super cute spot for events! I really think this is a wonderful establishment with an amazing team.

I took my dad out here for Father's Day at his request. We had a very nice time. The beer selection was lovely. The lady at the bar was very nice. I think for a chill summer Sunday afternoon on the outdoor patio, it was really sweet. It's true the bathrooms are co-ed but I had encountered this in Frankfurt Germany so I wasn't fazed, but the one I went in had 1 stall and a urinal outside the stall with no privacy so be prepared for that (I didn't see if you can lock the door once you're in there for more privacy).

This a great bar to come to, especially in the afternoon on a Saturday, to just relax and have a nice drink. I’m not sure how this place is at night, but they have a huge selection of liquor to choose from, and a fantastic beer selection. Bar
Koz's Mini Bowl is a delightful destination for couples seeking a fun and nostalgic night out. This vintage bowling alley offers an affordable way to enjoy duckpin bowling, where the balls are smaller and the pins are shorter, making it a unique twist on traditional bowling. The atmosphere is charmingly retro, complete with taxidermy decor and antique furnishings that give it a dive bar vibe.
A one-of-a-kind stop in Milwaukee. This classic dive bar has the oldest original mini duckpin bowling alley left in America. Which is a shame, because duckpin bowling is a blast. The rest of the bar is excellent too, catering to both locals and visitors. An essential local landmark for any tourists or people taking trips to the city.

Super fun little bar. Definitely filled with gritty but down to earth characters. This place is not for the timid or those easily offended, which is likely why this bar has a super personality. The service is good, the drinks are strong and priced right.

Best bar in Milwaukee? A wonderful neighborhood place with friendly regulars, cool mini-bowling and pool-table. "Pin-setter" Sebastian was polite and courteous, owner/bartender Koz was kind, made a stiff drink and even helped us along with his pup Rocky make it to another bar. Unbelievable! An awesomely authentic Milwaukee bar for those seeking character(s) and quality. A must stop when visiting the city.

This was an excellent activity to do with the whole family when our out-of-town guests came to town! Fun was had by all, and everybody at Koz’s was so accommodating! From the owner to the bartenders to the pin sitters, I just can’t say enough good things! Also, I think my dad was a pin setter there in the 1950’s! Oh! And don’t forget to tip your pin setter! Brewery
Central Waters Brewing Co. is a popular brewery known for its standout imperial barrel-aged stouts and a strong core lineup of beers. Originally established in Junction City, WI, in 1998, the brewery later moved to Amherst and opened a taproom in Milwaukee in 2021. The brewery's location in Milwaukee used to be a church and offers riverfront views, although parking can be challenging. Inside, visitors will find a large modern room with ample seating and a large bar.
Love that they converted this old Pabst building to fit CWB. So many different levels here. I love the chill vibe here for sure. Everyone comes here for the beer, but don't forget some food while you are here as well. The loaded fries are AMAZING!!!

Probably my favorite brewery in Milwaukee! They’re known for their aged and darker beers but had plenty of other options - their pale ales were great & they had a Mexican lager that was quite good. They seemed to always have a new release whenever I went back Very reasonably priced! It’s in an old church. Very chill vibe. I went there to do some writing and another time with a large group of friends. It was somehow perfect for both. Always lots of people around but never felt crowded The food was from Trouble Makers. They used the kitchen onsite. It was quite good but a little high priced for what you get. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful! They will help you find the beer you’re looking for. Also great with recommendations for other places around town

Breweries located in historic buildings just speak to me. This one’s located in an old church. The outside is exactly what you see and expect with the church but the inside has been updated to a modern style keeping all of the old character. The beers are excellent I have a wide selection from Lagers, to Stouts to Porter’s, Sours and more. They offer up free games that you can enjoy wall sitting. And even have food on some days of the week. Great place to come in out of the cold and damp and enjoy a quality beer.

Pretty chill place. Music was guitar riffs, mellow stuff. Full line of beers, from the milwaukee brewery and Amherst brewery. It is located in a refurbished old (old) church. Food is available, though I did not try it. The beer is excellent, they known their craft and don't rely on gimmicks.

The Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a must-visit attraction. It features three distinct domes, each functioning as a greenhouse with tailored temperature and humidity levels to simulate specific climates. Visitors can explore the desert, jungle, and seasonal flora environments at their own pace. The conservatory houses thousands of plant species protected from insects and parasites without the use of pesticides.
As a Wedding Photographer, I think that the Mitchell Park Domes are a Milwaukee treasure! The Domes are a fantastic place for indoor photos - an invaluable asset on wedding days in Wisconsin, allowing couples an option for "outdoor" photos even during the worst of Wisconsin's mercurial weather. There is really nothing else like them - they give greenhouse & garden feels with a strong side vibe of Mars’ space colony. The combo works incredibly well and provides both a diversity of nature environs for photos as well as a strong architectural canvas to work with. Each dome is its own environment, and I mostly use the Tropical and Desert domes for portraits. The Domes are a perfect option for couples who want to bring a little magic to their wedding day portraits or really any other photo need you might have!

Beautiful Experience – A Must-Visit, But Could Use Expansion Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory is a hidden gem in Milwaukee and an amazing place to spend a few hours surrounded by nature. The three domes—Desert, Tropical, and Show—are well-designed, peaceful, and filled with stunning plants from around the world. It's a perfect spot for families, nature lovers, photographers, or just anyone looking for a relaxing escape from city life. One of the biggest perks is the free and easy parking, which made the visit super convenient. The ticket prices are very affordable, making it accessible for just about everyone, especially considering the quality of the exhibits inside. Each dome offers a unique vibe—the Tropical Dome feels like stepping into a rainforest, and the Desert Dome is fascinating with its collection of cacti and succulents. The Show Dome rotates themes seasonally, and it was beautifully decorated during my visit. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the overall size of the park. While the domes are beautiful and well-maintained, the entire experience is a bit on the shorter side. You can comfortably see everything in about an hour, and I found myself wishing there was more to explore. It would be wonderful to see the park expanded with additional exhibits or outdoor gardens in the future. Overall, Mitchell Park Domes offers great value, stunning plant displays, and a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, and I’d love to see it grow even more over time!
Md R — Google review
Very BEAUTIFUL & well maintained. We spent approximately an hour to 1.5 hrs. Self-paced. There are 3 domes which represent 3 different regions of the world with native plants. There are a few benches to sit on, however I feel they could add a few so more people can sit and relax or take a little break. There’s a gift shop in the entry way building. Plus public restrooms.
Lisa Y — Google review
Amazing. There are themes for each dome. Fantasy, Desert and Tropical. Each one is excellent and had different flowers and vegetation. My favorite is the fantasy. The flowers and vegetation were awesome. They had a (fake) Unicorn, a Phoenix, a DragonBall dwarfs amongst the flowers. I picked up a few things from their gift shop.
Yvonne M — Google review
The domes are absolutely stunning, both in their unique architecture and the vibrant displays inside. Each primary exhibit offered something special, showcasing a wide variety of plants and trees from different climates and regions. It was fascinating to see so many species in one place, from towering palms to massive cactuses, especially since most of us are used to only seeing them as small houseplants. Being able to walk among them in their full size was truly a memorable experience. The layout makes for an easy and pleasant walk, allowing you to take your time and really appreciate the details without feeling rushed. Every dome felt thoughtfully curated, with plenty to see from start to finish. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend setting aside some time to visit—it’s a beautiful, educational, and relaxing spot that’s well worth the stop.

Milwaukee Brat House is a historic venue that captures the essence of old Milwaukee, offering a delectable selection of traditional Milwaukee-style brats and other local favorites. The establishment provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a game or simply savor the authentic flavors. With seating for approximately 50 people outside, guests can relish their meals in the street-side patio and beer garden, complete with an outdoor bar.
The food is excellent! Cannot go wrong with their brats (had the German). Their sampler appetizer plater was enormous! Great place before games with a lively crowd and patio (even middle of the week!) and a shuttle that takes you to Brewers stadium.

We sat out in the outdoor seating area. The food was good. The service was terrible. Our server was terribly annoyed that she had tables to take care of. That was unpleasant. The drinks were ok. The patio is nice but small. I didn't go inside so I cannot say how that was. I recommend this spot for good food and hope you get a better server than we did.

Just get the Brats, don’t bother with the other stuff! We had the cheese curds too, both were very tasty! Beer menu was good too. On game day (Brewers) they have a free shuttle with the purchase of a drink. Not a big place, limited seating inside but plenty outside. Inside had a pub vibe with lots of wood. Our first visit and have no regrets!

We got the brat house sample and the cheese curds. The cheese curds came in big portions, and it tastes amazing! The brat sample comes with four different kinds, we loved the cheese one and the other two that were not spicy. The spicy brat was a bit too spicy for our like. Service was good. The atmosphere is good and chill as well.

We came here for two Wisconsin staples on the first day of our trip into the state: cheese curds and brats. I ordered a Wisconsin Old Fashioned which I enjoy at home sometimes when I'm feeling a little extra trashy, and it felt like home. Just fine for $9. Husband ordered various beers including a $3 Schlitz, which the server called "an old man beer" 😆. He also had the German Brat which was just fine, with better than average sauerkraut. It was fun sitting outside and hearing all the languages from various tables, and people watching in the nice weather. Trivia night is Wednesday at 7:30, so it was a bit loud.

Cool spot downtown with outdoor seating. Service and food were great. Schlitz on tap is currently unavailable. But we had cheese curds and PBR draft, and they were perfect.

I had the Farewell Brat and it was hands down the best brat I have ever had in my life! They all looked amazing! Personally, I think you can't go wrong with any of the specialty brats! Why have a plain Jane brat somewhere else when you can go to the Milwaukee Brat House and get something unique?! This was my first time here, and I chose it because it was very close to the Milwaukee Boat Tours on the Milwaukee River. Christian, our server, was a gem! He was very fun and personable, and patient -- my family is a bit high-maintainence, but he took it in stride. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Service was "ok"... It was really crowded after the Sunday (7/27) game. Food was really good. Brat platter was a nice selection. Philli Cheese steak was very bready and needed peppers and cheese sauce. Cheese curds were more breading than cheese. All in all pretty good.

With its double-decker patio overlooking the river, it offers a picturesque view of yachts and boats cruising along the waterway.
With a beautiful view in the background, our food was nothing short of amazing! To start, we had one of the best bloody's that you can find in Milwaukee, with plenty of toppings. I had the pulled pork with sweet potato fries. The Mac and cheese was a decent portion that was cheesy and filling, the pork tasted fresh. The sweet potato fries were unique, actually sweet, and a very large portion leaving us full and impressed

Overall had a very good experience here. Was able to sit outside which was very nice and the weather and views were great. The cheese curds were good and the sandwich I ordered was decent. The sweet potato fries and beer was very, very good. They forgot the dressing for one of the salads at the table but that was remedied pretty quick. They also forgot utensils and napkins but after we asked they brought them. Overall it was nice and I'd definitely come back to eat here... Partially because of the food but mostly for the views and atmosphere.

I came here on my birthday with my man. We scored a great table on the river and got to watch the boaters pass by while enjoying the pictured nachos and burger. Several local brews on tap, including some unusual finds like gin-infused O-Gii. Everything tasted amazing!!

Great selection of regional and local craft beers on tap. David took great care of us during our visit at the bar. Food out on the deck was awesome. Love Milwaukee and live the Milwaukee Ale House. Will definitely be back next time we are in Milwaukee.

The food was beautiful and delicious. The server was great and the sights were nice. It was right on the riverfront and it had solid outside seating.

We ordered two burgers that were the worst burgers we ever had. The meat was just grilled ( over grilled per say) no seasoning whatsoever! And don't get me started on how greasy it was! We just put the napkin on the bread- yes bread no bun. We didn't eat the burger and our waitress didn't even check if we liked it!! Service was slow and not prepared at all no ketchap no straws not once were we asked if the food was as good. And be aware you want to.add any taste to you food and you ask for mayo they will charge you! And you will find out about extra cost when you look at the bill. The cherry on the top for this place was how clean- NOT!!! the table was and just look at the attached picture of salt shaker- that speak s for itself! The beer was ok.

Conveniently located near Fiserv Forum, it's an ideal spot for pre or post-game meals with Happy Hour specials and late-night eats.
Was in town for Midwest gaming classic and was looking for somewhere to hang out on a Sunday night. We get down to the corner and the bar is located within the Hilton hotel, but there is an outside entrance. Inside your meet with a barrage of awesome beer related memorabilia throughout the restaurant. We were sat on the street side of the restaurant which was nice. We were able to see outside and it was quiet cuz there was no really anybody in the area. There was five of us and we decided to all pick something different. There was some soups, some salads, a burger sliders, and a couple other traditional meals. Traditional meals We all had a couple of beers, mostly the house brands since it's Miller. There was some Budweiser as well in there and they gave out some free samples and tasters for beers that we hadn't tried before. Not a bad little pickup. They were out of some of the beers I did request which was noticeable. Chad, a convention could suck up. All the best beer. I understand why it was gone so I'm not going to hold them against that.

Stopped in quickly for a take-out salad before heading to room. Staff at bar greeted, took and placed order quickly. As we returned to get our salad, we noticed how busy the restaurant was - crowded and bustling. Good: Salad with grilled chicken. Was okay. The flavors didn’t quite mesh. Chicken tasted like pesto, with a weird tasting French dressing caused taste confusion. I wouldn’t order again. I would visit again and try something different, or ask for no pesto chicken and change the dressing. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Food: 4

Good food and easy to access from the hotel. It was crowded and noisy so service was understandably slow but server was still pleasant. Wheelchair access is there, but too crowded to move through the dining room without other pations moving. They sat us at a high table which was inconvenient for our friend to eat from.

Odd Duck is a unique and lively restaurant that offers an ever-changing New American shared-plate menu and creative cocktails. The atmosphere is vibrant, reflecting the restaurant's energetic approach to food and drink. The chefs incorporate fresh local produce into their dishes, resulting in a diverse range of flavors and techniques from around the country and the globe.
Absolutely loved my experience here! When I visit a city, I love an adventurous foodie experience at least once where we can splurge and small plate restaurants are my favorite for doing just that. In a city where cheese and burgers are ubiquitous, we needed a break from typical American food and we got that and more at Odd Duck. The service was awesome from the host to the food runner (special shoutout to them) and our server. We ordered about 5/6 dishes as per our servers suggestion and I enjoyed every single one. We started with the chips and dip, the karretensalah, the hamachi crudo (as coursed by them) it was a good fresh start, my favorite being the crudo here then the salad was super fresh and I loved the touch of the apples. We went into the hot food after, which were the smashed potatoes coated in tahini and something sweet which was a nice tough to balance the savoriness and umami flavor of the tahini. Then we got the lamb manthi dumplings which were good but not as good as the Japanese beef short rib curry. So comforting and flavorful and rich! The pork belly was another favorite as well and I’ve never considered pairing with black eyed peas but it was awesome. For dessert, we got the crème brulee (a MUST HAVE) need I say more. And the chocolate ganache cake with meringue cookies, this was good but if you choose only one go for the crème brulee. The drinks we ordered were also very unique and flavorful. They have an extensive wine list which I enjoy but I felt like I was missing out if I didn’t order a cocktail and I’m glad I did. Overall, loved this experience and sad I don’t live in the Midwest anymore so my chances of returning are slim but I will recommend to anyone visiting Milwaukee.

Odd Duck is quirky and delightful. My partner and I went here for a birthday celebration, recommend getting a reservation. I loved all the duck decor. The staff was down to earth and kind. All of our food selections from the menu were adventurous but still accessible. The only thing I wish could have been better was the noise level. At some points it was overstimulating. That being said, once the menu rotates, we will be back.

We had an enjoyable dinner here. We had heard much about this place and we are happy we could make it for dinner during our short stay in Milwaukee. We ordered the board with cheese and charcuterie, the oyster mushrooms, the hamachi and two desserts. The hamachi dish and desserts were delicious. The board offered a great variety of cheese, salami and pate. The oyster mushrooms, while tasty, were much too salty. We opted to eat at one of their tables outside. It was much quieter.

Finally made it here after hearing its a must eats. Definitely lives up to the hype. Good for small groups and sharing dishes. Each dish had such flavorful bites. Some spicy, some salty, some sweet. And save room for dessert. Sat at the bar, had great service. Very friendly. No aura of too good for you. Decent french wine on happy hour menu. Went on a Tues and easy time getting seated at 6pm. Got busier as it got later.

We were so lucky to get tickets for this year’s Halloween six course menu based on the Goddess Baba Yaga! We were welcomed in with a cocktail, a beet deviled egg, pickled mushrooms, and a savory cracker. Highlights of the meal included pine cone jam on the fanciest ham and cheese sandwich, a large plate of stuffed quail, the delicious pierogis, potato salad with rich smoked trout, and the Baba Yaga’s hut cake, a cheesecake with tart cranberry sauce. The owners truly love Halloween and it is so fun to see the decorations and costumes. We will absolutely back for both other Halloween dinners, as well as a nice date night. Everyone at our table- besides my husband and I- had been to Odd Duck and were singing their praises of their deviled eggs and unique cocktails.

This is the third time I’ve come here. The dessert drink was absolutely delicious, I haven’t had a drink this yummy for a while. We tried several dishes and we loved the catfish. It was crispy and juicy. The crispy mushroom was not my favorite. The breading was too thick and hard made it difficult to eat. The flavor was really good I just wish the breading was lighter. Buttermilk chicken is good, I loved the grits. Overall it was a fantastic experience again, I would recommend it to my friends.

I am my husband we’re going to a show for our anniversary and looking for a place to eat. We love our smoked meats and We came across Doc’s Smokehouse! First impression when we walked inside is the place smelled amazing. We were seated and greeted by our amazing waiter Frank, who explained everything to us. From their style cooking to the choices of meats, we chose to order the three meat plate and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of meat and the flavor. There was no need for sauce. Everything was amazing. Great service from Frank!!! We will definitely be returning.

Had the cheese curds, ribs and brisket + baked beans and Mac & cheese. Overall everything was amazing. The server spoke like he owned the place so maybe he does but either way, delicious. Oh and we got a cream soda float lol. Also very good. This was during AMKE and everyone flooded the market and apparently missed out on this gem. Definitely check out if you're in the area!

Was excited to try this place on Friday evening. Good atmosphere with great selection of beers. The meats weren’t amazing, very dry overall. Briskets were so thin and dry and pulled porks the same. Sauces were delicious and sadly the best thing on the plate was collard greens and baked beans. Hoping it was just a bad cut of the meat. $28 for two dry meats plate was slightly disappointing.

Dinner after 2nd day at conference. Best option around Baird & walking distance from hotel. Went on recommendation from boss. Staff great, quick, friendly, refilled drinks. Food was average. Easy variety, not over priced. Hard to judge as we smoke meat and feel a bit more critical.

Great food and even greater service! Our table ordered a variety of things starting off with the Texas and Alabama fries and ended off with a variety of meats since we ordered the judging table and the three meat plate. The brisket was tender and juicy. Their special consisting of burnt ends is by far some of the best I have ever had. The wings included in the judging table meal were juicy with them being flash fried so the skin was crispy and extremely flavorful due to the seasonings they used. The hot links were so juicy with the most perfect snap. The appetizer fries were scrumptious with a very generous portion. Now that I have a baby to consider, I am extremely pleased that they had a changing table in the women’s bathroom, which I never thought was a blessing until now. The place is huge, yet inviting, with both high top and low top tables for those with strollers and a bar for those without strollers. The staff was very welcoming and made the experience 100 times better. Doc’s is a great place and would definitely recommend it for anyone craving barbecue.

Worst ribs I’ve had in my life. Dry chewy and sub par flavor penetrated the meat. Shame on myself for not cooking at home! Flavorless Mac and cheese and I ordered dirty fries and didn’t get them. I got plain fries and was charged for dirty fries. Maybe I’m wrong for assuming I would get more than a plain fry. The ribs are filled with these glue like tubes I had this happen to me once from a horrible cut I’m not sure what it is. I will stick to what I know from now on. Only recommendations from my fellow moms who can cook, and cook WELL. This could be a one off fluke of a bad rack and a mistake from someone who bagged my order. It just ruined my night so I felt the need to share. In this economy paying for less than yummy food (nearly inedible) is a slap in the face.

We had a really great time at Doc’s. The food was really good. A huge and varied selection of beers to choose from. Service was really good. However, be very cautious if you have any allergies or celiac. The beers/ciders were mislabeled and my wife got served a gluten laden beer, when she specifically ordered a gluten free cider. The numbers on the menus vs what was actually on the taps was not accurate. She was doing a flight and one was not accurate.
J K — Google review
Nice atmosphere. Our service was slow for our big group so it took an hour and a half. But there were 20 of us and they had just opened. The food was fine/good. I like having sauces on the table. I prefer more seasoning and flavor in my brisket and the serving was small, but I'm picky when it comes to BBQ. I loved the dirty tots. That was the best part of the meal. I think the grilled cheese sandwich with smoked meat on it looked better than what I had. The appetizer wings were delicious.

Lakeshore State Park is a 22-acre urban oasis located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. It features a fishing pier, marina, benches, and a 1.7-mile paved trail that connects to other lakefront parks in the area. The park offers stunning city views and a small beach, making it an ideal spot for activities like wedding photography. Visitors can also reserve overnight boat slips for added convenience.
Surprising fact: it's a state park! This place is like Veterans Park, but more secluded. Hidden behind the Summerfest grounds, it stretches along the Lake Michigan shore and gets wider as it approaches the Discovery World building. I love the lighthouse and the view of the Hoan Bridge. Walking here reminds me how beautiful our city is.

Mazos Hamburgers is a classic American diner that has been in business since 1934. They are known for their house-ground burgers and homemade shakes, offering a cozy throwback experience with a menu featuring simple yet delicious options. The regular cheeseburger is made with fresh beef ground daily and served with two sides, providing a taste of simple beauty. Customers can choose to customize their burger with toppings like raw or fried onions, adding extra flavor to the meal. Located at 3146 S.
Every time a list Of best hamburger places is posted. Mazo's hamburgers are consistently highly ranked for a good reason: the burgers are never frozen and are freshly ground. The French fries are crisp and tasty. With every combo, you get two sides. The sides you can choose from are baked beans, cole slaw, French fries, and the fourth, I don't remember, the sides I choose were French fries and baked beans, and honestly, everything was perfect; mazos is one of the oldest diners in the area, so will I go back, and the answer is yes; every chance I get, When I wrote this review, I had no clue that it would be my last visit to Mazo’s, After 90 years, they decided to close the doors; we went the last week, they were open, and it was sad to see such a Milwaukee landmark shut its doors. Mazo’s, you will be missed. Thanks for all the years, and whatever you guys do next, I hope you find great joy in whatever adventure you take on next

Very attentive staff. I liked the way they handled refills, the wrap and paper bag they gave me for leftover burger (instead of a huge box), and the whole atmosphere! It made me want to go to a drive-in movie after! Things I didn't like... No Cherry Coke (or Pepsi). Diner experience made me want that, but a Dr. Pepper was close enough! I also did not like that TIP could not be added to Credit Card! Luckily I had cash! For those of you going for the 1st time however, please take cash and TIP the waitstaff! I'll be back!

One thing about Milwaukee is you’re going to find restaurants that have lasted throughout the years. But just because they’ve been around doesn’t mean they’re good. Mazo’s Hamburgers is definitely a hidden treasure that many often overlook and just drive past. Mazo’s sits on a super busy street with a lot of people and options. We needed up here after wanting a good meal but not wanting to wait in line at other places near. Upon entering I was extremely nervous because at first glance it didn’t seem like a warm and welcoming place. Once we were seated we were greeted by a sweet older gentleman that you could tell loved doing what he does on a daily basis. When we ordered our meals we were informed that we got a soup option and they were split pea or chicken noodle. I instantly selected chicken noodle. Split pea just didn’t seem appealing but I was wrong. My mother ordered the split pea soup and I got to try a sip and I must admit it was absolutely delicious. It was smooth and creamy but very seasoned. It tasted like it just came out a southern kitchen. I knew at that point I was in the right place. The meal came and definitely disappoint. The burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fries were fresh and hot. This is definitely a south side staple in Milwaukee. If you’re in the area and looking for some good food, don’t hesitate to stop.
J B — Google review
Mazo's is a great Milwaukee burger diner for almost 100 years. A south side staple. The Supreme Burger (bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato) with sauteed onions was super good. A good sized burger and cooked just right. Check the days open and hours before going. Soups are also great.

Mazos (learned it’s pronounced May-zos!) is absolutely stellar. Stopped here because the fabulous MKE food writer, Lori Fredrich, raved about their no-frills yet delicious food and burgers. This place is worth the stop! Be patient with the small team, as they are working tirelessly the entire time they are open. We went on a Thursday and it was nearly full the entire lunchtime with families, workers, etc. coming in to dine-in or take an order to go. Shout out to the gal in the back kitchen who calmly churned out beautiful orders of friends and burgers to the place. Phenomenal food, and one of those burgers that will leave you feeling full but not hurting after you eat it. That is an art! P.s. Sit at the counter, if you can, so you can watch all the action! And try their chili/soups!!!

Awesome restaurant. Cool interior, great drinks, and terrific food. Our server was one of the best ever - super friendly in a genuine way. I had the old fashioned French toast with a side of eggs and it was perfect (not too sweet). My wife had the turkey club gluten-free with fries and a side of ranch. She said it was great. We also had a couple zero proof cocktails, the buzz free honey bee cooler and the cucumber basil booster. Both were good and very reasonably priced.

Awesome spot for food & drinks. Bartenders make great drinks & actually interact with customers Rooftop is a bonus place to enjoy your drink although there didn't appear to be a separate bar up there Update: not sure why, but the closing staff is no where near as friendly & welcoming as the morning staff despite there being less people & less offered (kitchen closed). Awesome interior, wish they served full drink/food on roof top. Bloody Mary’s were good, deviled eggs were top notch until I found a piece of glass in mine. Thank goodness I felt it on my tooth and it did not cut my mouth. The GM was there, apologized and comped the drinks. I thought it was deserving of a comped meal. Took longer than the usual time to obtain the check. After that experience don’t make me wait to pay. And don’t make me wait to get my chsnge back.

First time here. We came with a group of 4, and had a 7pm reservation. The place was less than half full. Got a high top, towards the rear of the dining room. There is some nice light coming in the from the large south facing windows. The building is historical and restored, and the sloping floor might take getting a little used to. Our server did a great job of getting us settled in with water, and menus. (and they did a great job the entire evening - thanks Mckinley!) They have an excellent selection of different cocktails. We decided on a couple of different Old Fashioned that were excellent. The dinner menu also had lots of good choices to pick from. To start we had some cheese curds. These are from Valley Dairy and had a Bourbon batter. Came out hot, creamy cheese and a very flavorful. The rest of the meal entrees were an eclectic mix Walleye, Chicken Piccata, Pork Chop and Smashburger. My smashburger was very good, although it could have been even better, if could just a bit longer for more caramelization. The Pork Chop was the perfect temperature and doneness. Super tender too. The Truffle Spoonbread was as good as the pork chop. The other entrees were hits as well. We left room for some dessert, and ended up splitting a piece of the Tiramisu. Which can sometimes be tricky (or stale/soggy), but this piece was as good as the rest of the meal. The entire evening was a hit. We all agreed that it's a place that we could easily return to.

Hands down best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. My partner and I came in for brunch for our anniversary and were treated like celebrities with a hand written card and Prosecco — truly above and beyond by the team and our amazing server Chloe. Food was incredible and Chloe went the extra mile to make sure my gluten allergies were taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough, for the service along but the food and drinks were incredible. I can’t wait to come back! Must stop by if you’re in the area. Thank you Chloe and the team for making the day so incredible we were both so touched!

Good beer, good food, friendly staff, spacious and relaxed atmosphere, whats not to love ? plenty of seating both inside and out. I've went to a film festival here too. Outdoor had a firepit and large TV for Halloween movies. dog friendly there as well. the Irish coffee and brunch burger were both delicious. ill be coming back

Cool vibe with interesting lighting and a pleasant hipster vibe. The beer varieties are varied and well done. I had the Hazy IPA which was great and not overly sweet. The food was solid and I went with the butter burger and brussel sprouts. The burger was delicious. The sprouts were a tad disappointing because there was too much butter sauce on them. They would have been great other than that. Overall, this is a fun brewery worth a visit for sure.

We came here for a few drinks and also had dinner. They have a pretty good tap list with a lot of different styles. The food was good, we had cheese curds and chili with an added grilled cheese. There was a Packers game on and they were also getting ready for a New Year's Eve event so it was pretty busy. Service was very good as we were right before an expected rush and they had a lot of people working.

Every time I come here the chicken is burnt. The beer is good but the food and service is not there. We keep trying, hoping it will improve but for $100+ for 4 people it is not worth the disappointment.

Love this place! Big wide open floor concept. Great beer...great food...and great vibes. So good...I am still pinching myself how good the food and the beer was.

Nice place, clean interior, tasty beers! Next time back, I hafta try the food (only had time for a couple brews). Street parking. Easy place to find. AND you can take beer to-go!

If you haven't been to Company Brewery, try it! And keep coming back! With all of the new Breweries poping up in Milwaukee, Company is still a go-to spot. The drinks are good and the food is tasty.

Second time here, the cheese curds were maybe the best I’ve had. Excellent housemade slaw and pickles (the fish was a tad overcooked). The service is very friendly and welcoming and the ambience is relaxing. This will be a regular spot.

The founders, originally photographers, aimed to create an atmosphere that fosters connection. They put equal attention into their on-site roasted coffee and brewed beer. The space is designed for everyone to feel comfortable, whether enjoying a flight of beer or sipping espresso. Vennture Brew Co opens early to serve coffee at 5am on weekdays and 6am on weekends.
Coffee shop and taproom, great combination. Delicious coffee and pastries. They serve beer at any time so I also tried some of their beers at 10:30am , they were all tasty. They had a lot of beer cans available to go as well

Coffee AND beer were both fantastic! So rare to find a place that cares so much about the quality of their drinks, and the espresso drinks are made for people that want to taste the coffee and not just pure sugar. This was well worth the visit and our new favorite spot!

Wow. This is a special coffee shop on Wauwatosa’s east side that feels like a one-of -a-kind for Milwaukee. Appointed with local goodies (including artwork), string lights, and boardgames, Venture is perfectly unpretentious. The coffee is phenomenal and supplemented with high quality Sassy Cow dairy. Try the Cuban cortado this summer!

The atmosphere was clean, spacious, and inviting. No overpowering music or overly distracting decor. I was served a pour over with kind service. My friend enjoyed a drip coffee. We were both grateful for the speed of service and atmosphere. I saw a high chair for kids, it was wheelchair friendly, and I was able to park right across the street.

Such a fantastic coffee shop! The music is a great variety of genres, the coffee is delicious, and they've got all kinds of sweets. The hand pies are phenomenal, and very flavorful. Also, my favorite part is they have some pretty cool decor. They've got 6 vhs copies of the 1994 movie "Speed". It's pretty random, but I thank it's a great addition to an already awesome shop. Highly recommend visiting!

Some of the best beer and coffee in Milwaukee. The beer menu has a couple of great staples, and a rotating variety of beer that has something for everyone. The coffee is roasted in-house, starting with high quality green coffee imported from small growers around the world, and roasted in a way that maintains the distinct character of each coffee, making the pour-overs a new experience each time. They also have deliciously creative lattes, which my wife appreciates.
Derek S — Google review
Venture Brew Co is a really cool brewery that also serves as a coffee shop and bakery during the morning which is an amazing idea and I applaud them for it. I unfortunately have not had the opportunity to try their coffee but have only heard good things. They have a rotating beer list and the beers that were on the menu when I went were delicious. Really chill place to enjoy some beers. Employees are very kind.

Likewise Coffee in Milwaukee is a contemporary cafe offering fair trade, organic coffee and a bright, spacious setting with ample seating. It's renowned for its in-house pastries like the citrus ginger scone and New York-style deli sandwiches from Allie Boys. Located downtown near the riverwalk area, it's a popular spot for breakfast and coffee. The cafe also features rotating art displays and serves up their unique take on the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte called Autumn Sweater.
First time at Likewise after seeing it as a “must go”. It did not disappoint. The citrus ginger scone was incredible and my mom has been raving about the vanilla latte saying it’s the best she’s ever had. I tried the maple latte which was also really good. Will definitely be back next time we are in WI

First time here. Came with a friend on a Sunday morning. At this time of day, it was relatively quiet (with the exception of a rumbling motorcycle or two). The place is bright and cheery. Inside, there's lots of natural light from the big windows. There are several tables outside and plenty of other seating inside. It wasn’t too busy inside, and we got to order right away. Got a friendly greeting from the baristas. We ordered a couple of London Fogs (a little vanilla, a little lavender, and extra foam) and the Citrus Ginger Scones, although they had other scones that looked equally delicious — Breakfast Sausage or Spinach Feta (can those really be scones?) The London Fogs came out perfectly, and they even did some wonderful latte art. The extra foam was plentiful and luxurious (no skipping here). Decided to take these outside and sit in the cool morning air. Nice spot that allowed for a long, quiet conversation. Great first experience. Would definitely come back.

I went to Likewise for the first time today and was impressed. I got a simple pour over, and it was amazing! I have never had coffee that tasted like that before. The building was clean and modern. There were simple geometric decorations on the wall that gave it a warmer feel. They did have a flag on the front window that I did not appreciate, but overall, it was a nice place to go and talk or study. I would definitely go back and try out their other specialty drinks.
William H — Google review
Came here because of TikTok. Huge mistake. I ordered the lavender oat milk matcha, which—let’s be honest—shouldn’t even be called matcha. The color was a lifeless gray-green, like matcha that had lost the will to live. It had clumps floating in it. Literal clumps. The texture was chalky, and it tasted like nothing but sugar. I couldn’t taste the matcha at all—just sweet, vaguely lavender chalkwater. I don’t get the hype. I don’t get the reviews. I feel personally betrayed by the algorithm. This was $7 worth of sadness in a cup. Never again.

Kopp's Frozen Custard is a laid-back spot in Milwaukee that offers classic fast-food options alongside innovative frozen custard creations. It's renowned for its jumbo butter burgers and delectable custard flavors. The Glendale location, situated on the former site of the Milky Way drive-in restaurant, is a must-visit. Whether it's hot or not, indulging in their rich and creamy frozen custard in various forms is highly recommended.
Everything is great here and well with a stop if your traveling by. It has plentiful parking with easy entrance and exit. Best time is when the weather is nice because you can sit outside to eat your food. The custard is very much better than Culver's, so don't think your going to get that mass appeal product. You're going to like it.

This is a classic Milwaukee joint! I think you almost have to pay a visit here to understand:) the burgers & grilled chicken sandwiches are HUGE!! And so fairly priced. You can easily feed two people for under $20. It’s made to order, so don’t come when you’re hangry and impatient, because there’s usually it’s THAT good! It’s prepared pretty quickly and service is usually really good. No where to sit and eat inside - there are standing tables or go outside to sit on the stadium like concrete seating. Don’t miss the cows out back… they are pretty mesmerizing! This may not be gourmet, but it is classic, consistent, and so affordable! And then there is the ice cream - which might be the whole reason you come! Along with classic chocolate and vanilla there are two rotating and different flavors every day.
Sheri M — Google review
Kopp’s is a total classic. The portions are huge, honestly more than you can finish and everything feels super fresh. It has that old-school charm that makes the whole experience even better. Even though it’s always busy, they’re quick with orders and super efficient. The menu is simple, which I actually like no fuss, just good frozen custard and burgers. Prices are decent for what you get, and there’s something nostalgic about the whole setup. Oh, and the line of cow statues in the parking lot? Loved that little quirky touch. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area and craving something sweet.
Manoj — Google review
I would usually get burgers and fries but tonight it was just a malt. I got the lime malt and it was excellent. The person I went with got the cherry shake and it was also good. Whether you're in Brookfield or Glendale, Kopps is excellent.
Brandon E — Google review
Key Lime Pie Custard: Kopp’s was founded in Milwaukee in 1950, meaning they’ve been serving up jumbo size burgers and frozen custard for 70 years. Along with their everyday flavors, Kopp's offers two rotating flavors of the day. Key Lime Pie happened to be one of the flavors the evening of a friend's wedding and someone grabbed a couple quarts for a late-night dessert at the reception. As I'm not a fan of key lime pie in general, this is a flavor I would never go out and purchase on my own, but I thought I'd still give the custard a chance to prove me wrong. The large pie crust pieces found throughout are possibly the best I've had. I was blown away by how good they were! That said, the key lime custard was gross in my opinion, but like I mentioned, so is key lime pie. Way too tart for an ice cream or custard flavor. Avoid 🤮(unless you're a fan of key lime pie). This is a one star custard flavor, but I’m going to give Kopp’s four stars for all their other great flavors and burgers. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

If you are lactose intolerant, this place isn’t for you 😄. Everything here is full of tasty cheese, butter and cream. We came on the wrong time of the day, there where 30-50 inside waiting for their food, one guy took away 12-15 bags of stuff and we ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our burgers, onion rings and fries. But it was worth the wait as everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The ice cream of the day was wedding cake and bourbon chocolate walnut, both so good.
Jesse L — Google review
Great for a burger and fries. All the classics toppings, plus lots of other options, including things like jalapeños, spicy mayo & fried onions. Burgers are pretty big and there is an option to get it "cut in half", which makes it easy to split. Bunless is an option, but that would be trick to eat, unless you had a plate + cutlery. We try to make it a point to pass thru traveling. The order ahead take out is fast, easy & very convenient My fam love to order shakes & it's a struggle to choose between that & the custard of the day.

Best Place is a small chain coffee shop that has locations in Milwaukee and Madison. It is especially special because it is located in the former Pabst Brewery building, which was also used as an offices and later as a gift shop and cafe. The brewery was shutdown in 1996 but Jim Haertel, who owns Best Place, bought the building and restored it to its original condition.
Pinnacle spot for taste of MKE history and atmosphere. Yes, you might be waiting for a few minutes as the baristas diligently make your drinks. However, they are worth the wait. Seasonal drinks are plenty and cold brew is simple perfection. The patio is the picture perfect for reading a book with a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. Plus, it’s dog friendly.

Jo was our tour guide and he has been one of our best your guides across the US. He has a passion for history and continues to learn about things. The walking tour was perfect. Can't say how it might compare to the normal tour though. There is plenty of value in the cost of the tours from theamount of beer given for drinking, tour guide info, time length, and the proceeds that go towards renovations/ restorations/ reservations. We bought tickets online but there were enough spots available when we went that you could have bought them at the door. Parking was free and easy on Saturday. 2 hour paid parking otherwise it looked like. There are some food selections at the coffee house connected to Pabst, but otherwise you would have to find food at the food court around the corner or walk a little further for a restaurant. The gift shop is full of fun surprises and unique items.

As a Milwaukee Wedding Photographer, I love weddings at the Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. The venue has two options for weddings: The Great Hall & Speakeasy or the Blue Ribbon Hall & Captains Courtyard. I actually love both options - but the Great Hall & Speakeasy option has more capacity (up to 250!) While the Ribbon hall and Captains courtyard has an out door option for the ceremony (150 max). Both options are fantastic. The prohibition-themed Speakeasy, located under the great hall, is perfect for pre-wedding activities, including hanging out, getting ready (with an attached bridal suite), and cocktail hour, while the Great Hall is transformed from a ceremony space to a reception hall. The Speakeasy boasts its own bar, a cool beer cellar converted into a lounge, and a “drunk cell” that makes for fun photos and a great place to store rowdy groomsmen. The Great Hall started its life as the corporate headquarters of the Pabst Brewery. Many of its original features remain from the original stained glass windows, ornate woodwork, and the cream city brick exterior. Additionally, couples can collect gifts in Frederick Pabst’s old office. Conveniently, there is also a large bar in this space with a great selection of pours that comes in very handy after the space is flipped. The floor is also gorgeous and deserves to be noted! The ceremony space allows couples to make their vows to each other framed by the classic woodwork and backlit by the vintage windows. Some fun history: Joseph A. Zilber, a Milwaukee icon, had a vision to create The Brewery District from the remains of the Pabst Brewing Company in 2006. The Giant Pabst sign was turned from an aging historical artifact into a symbol of Milwaukee’s renaissance. The Best Place lives in the shadow of the giant Pabst sign, and photos with the sign are a must for any wedding in the area!
Brandon P — Google review
Its a real life history book in a venue. There for a wedding. So was limited I believe to the whole place. Food , atmosphere, nostalgia and serves was outstanding. Take a walk on the sidewalk with the iron plates for more history of building. Parking was tricky and have the old coin parking meters but it seems weekends are free. There are parking garages around as well.

Bowling alley
Holler House, located on Lincoln Ave. in Milwaukee, is the oldest certified bowling alley in the United States. It provides a vintage bowling experience with human pinsetters, real wood lanes oiled by hand, and manual scoring. Established in 1908 by the Skowronski family, it is currently managed by generations three to five of the family. Additionally, Kozs Mini Bowl offers duckpin bowling while AXE MKE provides axe throwing and a variety of beers.
What a great place. Iove bowling and had to visit here. Everyone is so nice and makes your time so enjoyable. They are proud of their place and told so many great stories on the history. A must place to visit
Eddie B — Google review
The oldest, sanctioned bowling alley resides here, resides in this very old, southside Milwaukee tavern. The place has deep Polish roots, heralding the once large Pole neighborhoods which were found all over the southside. You'll see signs in Polish including one on top of the men's labeled "chlop" (pronounced kwope) , meaning boy youngster. There are even Polish flags and painted ones in the tavern that do not have the crown above the eagle's head. They are very rare to find these days and actually illegal to fly or display in Poland, as that era of the flag represents the Iron Curtain years Wynn it was a communist country. The bartender owner, a super sweet lady, still sprite and joyful at 71 years old, is super welcoming. The bar has a big liquor section as well as 40 different types of beer, including, Polish ale, Zywiec. Let's not forget the many bras that are dangling from the ceiling, gifted over the years by female patrons probably getting too "drinky" at the bar. It's crown jewel, however it's the two lane, bowling alley which will relies on a hired teen, pin setter. Many a legendary professional bowler have tourneyed here including Earl Anthony. Many a famous celebrity have also come here to bowl inclyding, Larry the Cable Guy and Jack White. My buddy and I got too meet Cypress Hill when we were there. B Real and crew happen to be bowling enthusiasts.

To say that my husband and I were treated like royalty when we visited Holler House would be a complete understatement. I surprised my husband with a trip to Milwaukee for our 10 year anniversary for one reason and one reason only, to visit this gem of a place! Tom made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. I loved the history, I loved the hospitality, I loved the bowling. The only part I hated was having to leave.
Brenda R — Google review
What can I say that hasn't already been said before? This is such an iconic staple of Milwaukee that you need to come here if you're ever visiting the city. They have beer, bowling, and bras, which is a combination you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Had the BEST time at the Holler house last night. The owners could not have been nicer to us. We were late for our bowling reservation and they welcomed us with open arms, adjusted our time slot and told us great stories about themselves, their family and their bar/bowling alley. The bowling was a blast. After bowling we went upstairs and chatted some more with the owners and left them with hugs and a promise to return. SO FUN!!!
P. K — Google review
Bowling lanes installed in 1908 but the wood is stamped 1904 when it was purchased. It was warehoused until it could be installed. The lanes get recertified every year. A selection of local bottled beer at the cash only bar. Super friendly owner operator staff. There was a family playing and a group waiting when I visited. Normally closed on Sundays but since there is a bowling tournament on the North side they were open so some folks could play on the historic lanes.
M R — Google review
Heard about this place online. Love unique places. This is a small lovely old polish bar with a bowling alle in the basement. But not any bowling alley , the oldest in the country. The owner was fantastic. We walked in and he said want a tour!. He knows everyone that comes in so strangers he welcomes! Love that. Was going to have one beer stayed for 3. Nice people and nice regulars.

very knowledgeable bartenders that know their alcohol. absolutely loved talking with the gentleman that worked in the beer industry for 12 years, I didn’t catch his name. he recommended types of beer, breweries and we even spoke about mead. thank you for always being a great stop in MKE!

Bring your own food, even if a snack plate. I don’t recommend getting a flight, go with something you’d know you like. If you get a good staff member they will assist you (with a wine choice). Overall, glad this spot exists in the market but could be better.

Okay so this place is very cool if you are around the area and down for some drinks. I was looking for beer recommendations and the options they offered were AMAZING, including some local beers. They have a great wine selection too, but I did not try any.

Today, I visited my favorite place to go in the Milwaukee public market and sat down to have a glass of bubbly and they poured half a glass, and I inquired if this was a normal pour because when I usually get a glass of bubbly, they pour it to the top. The girl said, yes this is our 5 ounce pour. I said I come here often and I’ve never had it poured like this. I said well I guess I’ll have to go someplace else that pours a full glass of bubbly, and the guy behind the counter said well we won’t miss you. This is not a way to treat people. I’m very sad with his response and regardless I was super nice. I was not rude at all. This is not a way to conduct business and I very rarely do a negative review but this really broke my heart because I really love this place and it’s too They don’t have a better staff working for them that actually should be working with the public.

Well I had an amazing experience at this wine bar. I'm Vegan and Victoria was amazing! She made suggestions based in my lifestyle and taste buds! I found a new wine and cider that I love! Ask for her by name because she's wonderful! Can't wait until I'm in town again!

I've given this place a few tries to give them a second chance. But every time I get treated like I'm invisible. I order a glass of Chardonnay but I'm sure they have more than one brand but never ask which one I want. I know this because woman next to me they described wine in detail. My last visit, which is my last, my wine was given to me in a plastic cup and I had to ask for water. I watched as others sat down and were given glasses of water and wine in proper glass. EDIT: I Was sitting at the bar. I indicated that I was staying at the bar. Otherwise I would kept standing. If server thought I was leaving she could have corrected her error and given me a glass. I watched her refill everyone's water but mine. On another visit server was friendly and chatty with others at bar but not with me.

Whitetail MKE is a trendy spot where you can mingle with stylish individuals looking to unwind and have a good time. The atmosphere is fantastic, with plenty of space and stunning decor. The staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. It's known for its excellent hip-hop and R&B DJ sets, making it a great place to enjoy some drinks while listening to great music.
Always a great experience when I visit. Shout out to Berto, always Been a genuine nice guy since I've known him. Shout out to my brother security Rob for always assisting with keeping the establishment safe! Check this spot out!

This place sucks. Bouncers are extremely picky who they let in. They let me & my other friend in who’s a girl but stopped our boyfriends from coming in. They were standing at the front of the line. Ty, the bouncer, allowed multiple big groups of people that weren’t on the VIP list to get in before them. I know they weren’t on the list because I was in the bar & none of them were in a section. They even allowed a group of women, that were waiting behind them to skip the line & get in. I asked politely to allow them to get in because Ty kept enabling people to skip them. I kept getting the same answer saying “just give me a few minutes”. My friend & I had bought our boyfriends drinks expecting them to get in & they never let them in. Meanwhile, the bartenders couldn’t get our tab correct. Other than that, when I got in the place stunk really bad. Safe to say I will never go back here again.

I was very disappointed with this lounge. It was very dark. Two of the 3 bartenders were helping customers, one of the women cared more about her cell phone than the customers. I mentioned to my party of 3 we should leave is because of the neglect. Suddenly I was given attention only to find out they couldn't make a daiquiri or a lemon drop cocktail. What I did notice was that everyone seemed to have the same looking cocktail, which appeared to be brown. I mean EVERYONE! So maybe they don't have experienced bartenders? My party left without having a drink. No photo because there was nothing to show.

This is the spot if you want to be around sexy people who are out to chill and have a good time. Everyone dresses nicely...not the typical Wisconsin flannel shirts and trucker hats. The bar tenders are great too, so tip them! Check this place out.
