It was a genius loci feeling of finding a new astrolabe of sorts... The physicality of this building reminded me of a sparse robin's nest that had optimally placed its eggs to achieve best effect. This was my first time visit to this small on-campus art gallery, and I was met with a simple, understated and welcoming grace by staff in this less-is-more footprint space. The attendent was overly modest, yet this was refreshing as it lent itself very well to opening up dialogue. In choosing to speak further with them about the Ethereal exhibit, they opened up freely and enthusiastically shared their knowledge and interpretations.

My original flight was cancelled due to poor weather conditions so I rescheduled the next available date which was Rememberance day. The pilots and other volunteers provided excellent information about the history of the plane. We flew over multiple Rememberance day services during the flight and experienced the excitement of banking into a turn. I've flown many times on commercial and smaller planes to northern communities but this flight will always stand out as unique with the rumbling roar of the piston engines and the bare bones interior. Would highly recommend to any plane enthusiast, a truly unforgettable experience.

I tried to call the cafe to get correct instructions and there was no answer. This order cost about $40 for two luke warm coffee drinks and some cookie batter with wrong instructions. All in all the amount of time it took for us to receive the orders may not be the fault of the cafe but I do think its location in Gore Park is confusing for delivery drivers to access if they aren’t very familiar and that may be why the orders are taking so long. Either way, we found our orders very disappointing each time, so we are giving up on Red Church and will order from one of the many other good cafes nearby in future.
