I tried to decide which of the three sliders I liked best. Too difficult. The Pulled Pork was tender and tangy. Beef Brisket had a nice outside crust with a pepper bite and flavour throughout. Mmmm. The third was the Nirvana Moon Burger. Kinda tough to stand up against the first two, however it did well. The Slaw was fine. Nothing wrong with it, just wasn't as over the top good as the three Sliders. I'd order the Slider Combo again and again. Now, the part where I should have know better,... I ordered the "Smoked Chips", potato chips. I was thinking that they make their own chips and smoked them. Nope. Assumptions are often wrong. They seemed like right off the grocery shelf. Disappointed. What I should have done was ordered the beans. However all was not lost, my server replaced the chips with beans. YES! They were really good. Obviously they added their own meat, tang and sauce. Delicious. Better than most beans at BBQ places. One more good, before the not so good,... my server, was great, very friendly, great energy, great smile, so much so I wondered if she was hitting on me. LOL! Finally a note for improvement aimed at the two staff talking at the front desk for about half my meal. If you want to talk, cool. But don't seat a single four feet away from you. It was kinda tough to enjoy assessing my 3pm linner. Or enjoy the music which is part of the ambiance. I was and still not interested in your nails, or customers that don't speak English well enough for you to seat five or six. Nor your jobs and compensation. Next time, remember people can hear you. So careful what you say. And don't seat a single by the reception when the restaurant is only 30% full at 3pm.

They don’t seat you. I had to ask for menus. I will never return once I saw the washrooms which were absolutely disgusting! I walked in one and there was toilet paper and paper towel overflowing in the garbage and there was no toilet paper on the roll and there was FECES smeared on the toilet seat. If I wasn’t waiting for someone, I would have left. I told the server as she was passing me by. I then went to another washroom which was the handicapped one and the toilet was not bolted properly to the floor and was super loose. There was no paper towel In that washroom. If the washrooms aren’t clean then it reflects on the kitchen cleanliness. I should’ve taken pictures but who really wants to see what I described?! Fantastic service! I wanted some food that reminded me of home! This place did not disappoint. We ordered “The Feast” that comes with every type of meat the have. The brisket and ribs were as good as any barbecue restaurant in Texas. The fried chicken was amazing and the sausage and pulled pork was phenomenal. Every bite had me feeling like I was back home in Texas. I can’t describe how delicious this barbecue is. And the brisket Mac n cheese is the best I’ve had in my life (hope mom doesn’t see this). I asked to speak to someone who could help me out, but she said the answer would be the same. The only retribution offered was to come in and get a free chicken…the cost of gas to get there. I asked about my dessert and loss of money, but I was informed it was a skip the dishes problem and to call them and figure it out. Be careful where, and how you order.

I've read from other reviews it seems like new management took over but my god, if you're going to run a restaurant, learn how to give basic service standards and to expect it from your employees or else your establishment will die. The server refused to mix my friend a drink because she said "there's another table so I can't". There were only 2 tables filled in the entire place so this made absolutely no sense. Then when it got even busier, she proceeded to mix drinks for other people?? The cook didn't know how to time meals properly so my meal came out cold (chicken fingers n fries). It was probably sitting there 20 minutes while my friend's meal was being made. I asked them to reheat, but instead he remade the entire meal. It was nice to get a fresh plate but my friend then had to wait so he could finish eating with me. Overall just a terrible experience. The food was fantastic the atmosphere wonderful. Prices were excellent. My only issue is how unfriendly it is to disabled people. My husband is legally blind.
