The front part is the tap room for beer sales, and if you drive to the back, you’ll get to the outdoor beer garden (with lots of shade) and access to another huge indoor beer hall. We were famished and ordered from Mel’s Deli - the sandwiches were hearty and flavourful. We ordered the saucy and spicy meatball hoagie and the not so hot cheesesteak, each were $19 and came with pickles and some kettle cooked chips. The sandwiches were hot, bun was super fresh and were loaded with various toppings and cheese. To pair with the sandwiches, you can order beer on top, canned beer or alcoholic slushies. I opted for a beer flight, 4 samplers of any of the beers they had on top. There are so many options that anyone can for sure find something that they’ll like. And to top off the fun outing, line dancing started at 8pm that Saturday and everyone jumped in! A side note for those with kids and dogs, they are all welcome on site! I want to say that every other table had kids. If you’re looking for a fun night out, whether it’s date night, girls night out or even a family outing, you have to come here!

He was very accommodating, informative, patient, personable and generous with his time. Everyone working at the brewery that day was super nice, but Nate truly was fantastic! The pizza was great perfect temperature the sauce was savoury and the ingredients were nicely complementing each other overall a great pizza. The risotto had some flaws it had a great balanced texture and it was cooked perfectly however, the saltines of the cheese didn’t go well with the dish and the simplicity of the lettuce didn’t suit the plate either. We were seated and served with great care, and the plates got to the table fairly quick. The aura of the place is a lot like any other American bar and grill however structured in such a way that made it quite cozy the problem with this is that when there’s a lot of people the place can get really loud making it hard to talk because all the sound is bouncing off the walls making everyone speak louder and louder to communicate to those around you. We were told that the manager told our waitress that they needed our table for a group of 17 that was coming and we had 20 minutes to finish and leave.when we got a little upset we were told we could sit at the bar. We are all in our 50s and 60s that wasn't an option and we were quite disappointed with this situation we had hoped for drinks and dessert. This review has no refection on the service staff or food. OUR ENTIRE NIGHT was ruined by manager who felt empowered enough to tell us we were finished our night for no reason other than he overbooked. It was my first time trying the breakfast menu after seeing all the great photos online. It was one of the finest dining experiences we have had in the Toronto area ever. We had never eaten there before but are both fans of Chef Capra. We secretly hoped we’d see him in action but he was likely taking a well deserved evening off. But that didn’t sour the evening. First of all, the menu had such a variety of things to choose from and the wine list had such variety - there’s no doubt that they can accommodate any budget and you will have a fantastic evening. We started off with some cocktails before our bottle of wine. We then shared the beef carpaccio and the bruschetta- both I would suggest were the best we’ve ever had of those items ever. We then shared a short rib tagliatelle and then the entree of the lamb shank. Again, both just absolutely fantastic. We really wanted to treat ourselves with it being our anniversary and boy did we ever. But the star of the evening was our server Sean. I would suggest he again set a new high standard. As I noted earlier we were sharing some dishes. At other restaurants they’d give us a plate each and put the dish in the middle. Which is fine. But Sean went above and beyond splitting the course in front of us. But with such passion and presentation. He went out of his way to engage with us and even gave us two glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. This is a long review. But its the only way I could fully capture how perfect the evening was. From greeting to ending with a tiramisu with candles on it - the whole staff from the kitchen to front of house did Massimo proud and I really do hope he sees this. We will now become regulars… with the drive from Newmarket. Thankfully we stayed close by at a hotel and Ubered so we both could enjoy all the aspects of the evening. My wife and I took our baby girl in a stroller on the patio and had a fantastic time. We both had the pork schnitzel dinner last year and came back to Burlington specifically for it again. Large portions with an absolutely outstanding mushroom sauce on there. It is one of the best schnitzel dinners in the GTA. The lady serving us was very warm, inviting and professional. The atmosphere is very appealing and we were able to get a table before it was fully packed as the Jays game was 2 hours away before starting. For an appetizer we got the calamari which was delicious and and packed with flavor when dipped in the two sauces. For entree we got the house burger, alongside the fish and chips and little did we know that the Friday special was fish and chips and that you can do a coin toss with our waiter. For dessert we got a mars bar brownie with ice cream and it was the perfect dish to end of this amazing dining experience. This time unfortunately their wings were a total disappointment. The building itself is beautiful - a historical site with some modern additions. The patio is in great shape and had very comfortable cushioned seats. They allowed us to bring our dogs on the patio, and greeted them with made-in-house dog treats and a water bowl. The service was excellent, very friendly, provided great food and drink recommendations, and quick. The food and beers were delicious! We had the RH fries, cheese pizza (fancier than it sounds!) and pork schnitzel. All food was a 10/10. They were quite busy on a Saturday night but the food came fast. The banh mi sandwich has a bit of an identity crisis. The sausage that used to be $14 was changed to $20 including fries this past year. As of today a single sausage costs $18 and does not include any side, even though this is what is shown on their website as of today. This place used to be our go to and the place I went to for all comfort food. I don't think I'll be back after this experience.

Fairweather Brewery on Ewen Road. Nice variety of craft beers. Good sized outdoor patio, groovy chill music, and canned brews to take home with you. This place appeared to be a bigger setup than the other place that we just left. The patio was definitely bigger and had pendant lights hanging over it. Very nice and cozy. Driven by curiosity, we went in to check it out and have a quick drink. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a very friendly guy who was happy to talk beer. With eight choices, my friend chose Small Hours, a low ABV sour stout with raspberries, vanilla and lactose. Profile: Strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, milk chocolate (according to their description). Since I was about to drive back to Toronto, I didn't have one of my own but I tried my friend's and the description was right on. I definitely tasted the berries and chocolate notes.
