I felt as though my personal space was encroached upon multiple times and like I always had eyes on me. We still thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but I can definitely see how it’s thrown others off. The peacefulness of museums is paramount to me and the interferences made it a little tough to feel serene and impeded my ability to immerse myself. I doubt I would return due to this. We went to the history museum first after exiting off the Sunrail and learned where the Rollins Art Museum was. Then we strolled down to Rollins after shopping and eating lunch and found the Art Museum situated among live oaks near a lake. It located in an easy to find place with limited parking nearby. We are glad we walked and didn't have to bother with parking. It is an easy walk from the train station. We walked behind the museum and around the lake and enjoyed the view. It is a very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean and going to an art museum in the summer is a great activity as it is air conditioned and cool. A great escape from the heat. I enjoyed the art exhibit on women and masks and found it thought provoking and interesting.

Spent a few hours here and honestly could’ve stayed longer. The museum covers all the military branches during the Vietnam War — Army, Marines, Navy & Air Force and the exhibits are super detailed and really well done. Tons of real equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and personal stories that make it all worthwhile. Outdoor & indoor (a/c) there’s so much to see! And a bonus, all of this was free admission. The staff and volunteers were awesome too — super friendly and knew so much. You can tell they really care about preserving this history and honoring the people who served. We met Ken, he was wonderful. He & my father in law both served during the war & had great stories for eachother. Ken even had my father in law sign the Vietnam War Wall. Ken definitely made our day! If you’re into history or just want to learn more about what happened during Vietnam, this is 100% worth a visit. I left with a much deeper appreciation for what those men and women went through.
