Not all restaurants are fully baked. This one does the job and is super authentic. My partner is Chinese and can really cook up a storm, as his parents owned a Chinese restaurant in Phoenix. I love cooking my own food while not having to prep it. Staff was attentive, informative and had great attitudes. Ray was our server and he was fantastic. you can see the amazing cuts of meat in my picture. I did the basic meal but next time will likely do the more expansive for just 10.00 more. My wife got the hotpot and thought it was great. The only complaint was she's vegan and they charge the same amount for both vegan/veggie and meat hotpot with no option of a la carte (it's all you can eat for both bbq and hotpot). Her hot pot was 25.00 while my BBQ was 20.95 and you can see in the pics the cost difference of ingredients doesn't make sense. Even 20.00 for all veggie hotpot would be better than paying full meat prices. I'll be back but might not be able to convince my wife at that price (though, she LOVED her food - there are just cheaper hotpot options all within a few miles for vegans). Drink selection was good, prices were great for beer and ok for wine. they didn't have nigori in stock, which i would have preferred for sake but the sho chiku bai Rei was really good (though pricy). Food was excellent and priced well and we’ve been to a lot of Korean joints over the years. Complementary bottled water, 5 dishes of banchan, miso soup and yogurt drinks after the after dinner. Best authentic Korean bulgogi I’ve had during my time here in Orlando. The flavor was not sweet but savory, exactly like South Korea. We randomly stop by this place because one of our friend was hungry and I was already full when we got here. At first glance inside, I didn’t have a high expectation of the food outcome. It looked like a place that was just trying to keep in business. My friend had order beef bulgogi and so did my wife and I. The funny thing is that when we ordered, she said the the fish only come with one rice and are we sure we didn’t want two order of bulgogi. She said it pretty mean (it gets better, trust me). We assured her my wife and I only want one and will share it. After taking our order she went back out to cook the food. I was confused, I thought there would’ve been a different cook but nope. She did it all by herself. When she brought the food out (see picture) I knew right away that the dish wasn’t going to be super sweet like all the ones around here. She heard me said that and start talking about how her food are made by her and taste better then any Korean bulgogi around here. The first spoon of that bulgogi brought me memories of Seoul. It was so good that I only ate the meat and forgot the banchan. They were great as well. After the meal and getting to know the owner a bit. I came to realize she is just like every mom and pop food shop in Seoul. They aren’t mean or aggressive, it just how they talk and it their way of showing their sweetness. I was worried that the food may be cold or start to get soggy, but I picked it up right on time and ran to a nearby park and ate it so it was not soggy or cold.
