Normally, pizza places offer a handful of sauces and they're usually all the same in terms of place-to-place. Josie's offers unique and tasty sauces on large delicious wings at a very reasonable price. We indulged in the hot honey sauce! As for pizza, we chose to go with the BBQ chicken pizza (a specialty) but substitute the peppers for olives and the mushrooms for jalapenos. The pizza came out in reasonable time and I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted, even the chicken on the pizza- although fried was still juicy. Throughout our meal, the staff attending our table was kind and kept up with refills and asked about our meal regarding satisfaction. We did our best to let them know everything was delicious and they both lit up with happy smiles when we told them. The staff seems to really care about the food they make and as someone who has worked in food, nothing makes me happier than people who take pride in what they prepare,cook, or serve. A big Thank You to the staff at Josie's for the delicious food and kindness in a place I'm not familiar with. This will likely become a consistent visit for me. I've always loved this location. I remember eating at the original one just down the street before they blew up and expanded. The cakes were dry, what looked like cream was hard and thick frosting and the pistachio did not taste like pistachio. The cute chocolates on top also both tasted like there was soap in them??? How do you mess up chocolate that bad? One was white and one was dark but both tasted like soap. We ate so many places and deserts in the park most not as fancy or expensive as this place and this is the only place I have anything bad to write (there was even a hair in one of the other restaurants food and I still would leave them a 4/5 rating.) This was truly disappointing and gross we had such high hopes and will truly never enter this establishment again. Also not sure when I'll be able to stomach chocolate again.

We came around 730pm and it was pretty empty. We ordered quite a bit of food that was certainly not worth $60. Corn dogs was small about 2 inches of cheese for $6 NOT worth it. The street corn tasted burnt and was very watery, not worth the 6$ seeing it was only 3 table spoons of corn. I had the chicken strips at first they brought me the wrong thing so I tell the waiter and she says it’ll be about 10-15. That was around 8:25PM. I didn’t get my chicken till after 9PM. AGAIN, NO one was in the restaurant but us and another couple. When my chicken came out I got chicken bites that they counted as a whole strip. NOT full chicken strips. Paying $17 for just chicken bites is insane. The food wasn’t even hot when it came out. My wife had chicken wings that barely had sauce on them. The rice was so hard I could have chipped a tooth. By far such a terrible experience I didn’t even eat there after waiting 40 minutes for my chicken bites. They closed at 9 and you could tell they were rushing us out so I felt so uncomfortable and asked for a box to take my chicken bites home and give it to my dog since they want to give me the scraps(left overs) of the night.. All I wanted was for my pregnant wife and I to enjoy our dinner as she was craving crispy chicken. This was certainly not the place to be at. Now I will say this not all restaurants are created equal we have one here in Tennessee and this one in Florida best the one we have in every category. The waiter was super friendly and attentive, also very helpful when it came to suggestions as I always do when I go to a new place I have never been before. I came here a couple times for a night-cap, to wind down after exhausting myself at some other spots earlier and really enjoyed my experiences - the drinks, the atmosphere, service etc. I had a maple pecan old fashioned the first time and just enjoyed sitting at the bar and reading a bit while nursing the drink - not my normal pick, so I definitely sipped on it, but it was a great change, flavorful, and definitely packed a punch.
