We got Gyoza for the toddler. Japanese Crispy Chicken to share. Wife got normal Tonkotsu and I added in the spicy paste. Food was absolutely perfect. A little on the higher priced side but this has been some of the best ramen I’ve had in Charlotte over the last 5 years. The chili paste was a perfect addition if you like to sweat a little with some added flavor. The pork slices were seemingly pan seared which added some great texture and flavor profiles. The chicken was tender and crunchy as well with more chicken than I was expecting. Lastly the atmosphere and staff were all super kind and welcoming. The fish is always fresh, the rolls are proportioned well (no giant chunks of meat), sauce is appropriate (nothing is slathered in mayonnaise), and the flavors are great. The bento lunch special with teriyaki chicken and a roll is also very good, and a good deal. My only complaint with the bento box is that the "house salad" is literally a handful of spinach with no dressing. Nothing else on the menu is good, in my opinion, and the service is terrible. My husband and I made a reservation for Valentines Day and we had to wait 90 minutes past our reservation time before we were seated. Our sushi was delicious, we had the Coconut Shrimp Roll and the Silver Dragon roll, but the Thai Curry Ramen was mediocre and the bao bun appetizer was atrocious. The bun seemed underdone, the pork was steamed and extremely fatty, and there was no sauce. The edamame was / is edamame, and the miso soup was / is the same as it is at every Japanese restaurant. The manager came up about 5-10 minutes later and said that the bar is for eating, not drinking and that if we weren’t ordering food, we need to take our cocktails outside. Not sure as to what he was talking about as we were very cordial and was spending money at the bar. The pork belly tacos were my favorite. Pork belly and watermelon sounds a little wild, but the sweet and salty combo worked perfectly. The bone marrow came out hot and bubbling, super flavorful with the capers and onions. My only complaint there was they didn’t give enough crostini (3–4 pieces just wasn’t enough for all that marrow). I tried the Mythos martini, which literally tasted like a Greek salad in a glass — weird but good in its own way. The lamb burgers were tasty, but nothing super memorable compared to the other plates. Service from James B was great — really attentive and made everything smooth. Only two things I didn’t love: our silverware came out dirty and not a couple of smudges but actual food pieces on the forks and knives which was really gross to me and the music was fun but way too loud for a Tuesday night. On a weekend I’d expect that vibe, but midweek it made it hard to actually talk at the table and all night I felt like I was shouting BUT the DJ was awesome. All staff members including security were very polite and accommodating. I was able to make my way in to the establishment with my knee mobility scooter no problem at all. The vibes were great, with a DJ performing catchy unique beats. There is no dress code here which is nice especially when you are just venturing around the charlotte area looking for something to do. There are both open seating and reserved areas all with wonderful views of the city. After looking around for a few minutes for somewhere to sit, a staff member spotted us, kindly explained how the seating areas worked and guided us towards some open seating areas. Although a bit crowded, I had no issues making my way throughout the area with my mobility scooter. Our party of 3 was able to find a lovely open seating area at a cozy tabletop fire pit. The cocktails we ordered were beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients & candied cherries for a garnish. Perfect location if you are looking for an upscale yet casual friendly date night or somewhere to decompress with family and friends. The service was standard. We ordered a Tempura Sampler and the pieces were undercooked overall - shrimp was still watery and the batter in between the broccoli was not cooked. This was $8 appetizer/side and shrimp was the size of my skinny pinky. Not worth it. We both ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and it was by far the worst ramen I had in Charlotte. It tastes like it has a bunch of preservatives and salt which had me drink an entire cup of water after few bites. Most importantly, it didn’t taste fresh as if the broth was a couple days old. It had a strong pork gamey taste which should taste like a delightful savory flavor. I haven’t tried other dishes here but I was genuinely disappointed for the dishes I had and I don’t recommend ordering them.

The ramen was good, as was the Korean fried chicken. Very flavorful, and decent portions! Parties 6 or more the tip is automatically included. I might suggest heating up the cup its kept in, and I’m not sure the method of heating the water, but hopefully it would be long boiled rather than quick boiled. This is the best Ramen in CLT! While the shopping center and restaurant exterior are very unassuming, the inside is a quaint and cozy restaurant run by the sweetest people. Everything is made fresh and comes out piping hot - even ordering through DoorDash the food is always hot, and always consistent. We have tried almost everything on the menu but our favorites remain the spicy miso ramen, sweet and spicy garlic fried chicken, fried sweet potato, and the gyoza dumplings.

Everyone's reviews about the seating being weird and akward was correct. Being that they built this building from the ground up, it was designed poorly. We sat upstairs at the sushi bar. Great entertainment while waiting for our food. And the bartender was great as well. We got the Tuna Tataki as a app and it was perfect. Nice spices on it. The sushi rolls we ordered took awhile to come out seeing it wasn't terribly busy. But when they did, they were amazing! Presentation was spot on as well. This location is probably having growing pains and has to work out the minor problems they have. But the food was great!!! We will return.

Some of the best sushi and cocktails in charlotte. Ordered the smoked squid salad and that was very delicious. The sushi was great and it came out on fire which was cool. Service was a bit slow. The kitchen looks to be tiny and we were a party of 15.
