(Love that) When we arrived, we were shown to our table immediately- and shortly after ordering oysters we noticed the menus were custom printed with my fiancé‘s name on them. The service is really good except for follow up requests for corrections or missing items, which there were 3 during our visit and never got corrected until the check but everyone was very very nice. Patio chairs are horrendous for tall people but inside is great. Definitely recommend if you have that kind of spending money and aren't expecting fine dining.

First they came out in literally a huge, wet blob. We tasted one and it was fishy and just looked off. To me this is just addressed at IHOP or Denny’s. It’s really just the venue has a little more updated but the food quality the service is no better than a IHOP or Denny’s to me. My waitress’ shift was over and I was told another would be taking care of me, I insisted on paying with my original waitress so she would get the tip. After that no one came to check on me. Finally got someone’s attention and no one knew who my waiter was. How does that even happen? I was on the patio with my dog. I orderd the crudo trio which consisted of hamachi, salmon, and trout. This dish is an appetizer, but was a perfect size for me. Very well seasoned and so fresh. We also ordered the blistered peas and, OMG sooo amazingly good. The dish could have been a meal. We ended with a shared butterscotch budino and I cannot describe the creamy deliciousness of this dessert. The drinks were very good and had the appropriate amount of alcohol. Some restaurants water down their specialty drinks with lots of ice - not true at Herb and Sea. We keep thinking about our dinner there and wanting to go back very soon. The staff and chef are amazing. It's a busy place, but they manage to put high quality food out. This restaurant deserves a look from the Micheline experts.

Great hospitality and a nice list of beers to choose from, including several rotating taps. They have a good happy hour and a fish fry special menu on Fridays. The wings themselves were decent, though I liked the jalapeño poppers a bit more. They were pretty good. One very strange thing about the wing order is we asked for blue cheese. The dipping sauce they brought had a mild blue cheese flavor, but was extremely liquified and runny. One of the weirdest blue cheeses I’ve ever had. The cheeseburger was ok, but very small. This is in Mira Mesa area surrounded by business offices. There was plenty of parking. Upon walking in, you order at the counter. No lines yet at that time but when we left, there was a line. Had the small bowl spicy ahi poke with brown rice. It tasted fresh and spice on the poke was on point. Friends ordered the fish taco, fish & chips, and fish sandwich. Everything was delicious.
