This was really cool. I love that the memorial took out part of the street in order to make the reflecting pool. It is moving and quiet in the middle of the city. It was simple but poignant. My son was with us (18 yrs) and he did not take know any details so it was great to be able to talk him through history that I remembered from when I was 12. We did not have time to do the museum, which would have answered a lot of his questions but we did the best we could but the interactive video screens were extremely helpful. I truly recommended stopping if you are in OKC. I also suggest going across the street to the church memorial and reading the story there. Worth the time.

Visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial was an incredibly moving and humbling experience. The site is beautifully designed, with powerful symbolism throughout—especially the Field of Empty Chairs, which honors each life lost in the 1995 bombing. The atmosphere is respectful and reflective, and it’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space for both remembrance and healing.
One of the highlights of our visit was speaking with a National Park Ranger on site. His deep knowledge and thoughtful storytelling added a whole new layer of meaning to our experience. The insight he shared about the significance of each part of the memorial helped us connect more personally with the events and the resilience of the Oklahoma City community. It’s clear he is passionate about his role, and it made a real difference in our visit.
This memorial is a must-visit for anyone in the area—both to pay respects and to better understand an important part of American history.

Such a beautiful tribute to all affected by this horrible event. Planned on just going to the memorial but it was so beautiful that I had to come back the next day to the museum. Visiting the memorial and museum was a powerful experience. I was 5 or 6 when this happened and don't have the most vivid memory of it so I'm glad to have visited to more truly understand the gravity of this tragedy. We visited this very moving memorial and museum for the Oklahoma City Bombing by McVay in 1995. The outdoor guided tour around the reflection pool and the Empty Chairs representing the victims killed was very informative! Each chair was etched with the name of the victim. Each row of chairs represented the victims killed on each of the 9 floors of the building. The chairs light up at night and look like they are floating in the night.

Of the five capital cities I've visited, the Oklahoma Capitol is undoubtedly the cleanest and most captivating. Its pristine condition is remarkable, with not a speck of dust anywhere. The ground floor offers both a museum and a gift shop, and abundant literature detailing its history and origins is readily available. Wow! We had an amazing visit! Took us about 2.5 hours to go through the exhibits, reading almost every plaque. We love Chihuly, and we saved that for last! I really loved how all the exhibits were grouped and had a written rationale for organization. Even with multiple events downtown, we were able to find a spot nearby (and it was a free spot on Sundays).

We had a fantastic time at the museum. We went to the special exhibit they had for Ansel Adams, and I didn't expect the exhibit to be as large as it was. They have a variety of his photos spanning the length of his life as well as photos other took of Ansel. We also stopped by the permanent Chihuly exhibit, and they have several pieces I've never seen before. It's a fantastic selection, and we hope to come back again

This review pertains to the OKC Museum of Art Movie Theater and its screening of the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival. The museum itself is a beautiful facility, and I’m glad we have it in OKC. Unfortunately, the movie theater leaves much to be desired. While it does feature stadium seating, the seats are small, uncomfortably low to the ground, and not at all supportive. The screen is undersized, the sound system is weaker than what I have at home, and the projection quality looked more like a washed-out 1980s big-screen TV than a modern cinema.
On top of that, there are no concessions—no popcorn, candy, or soft drinks—to make the experience more enjoyable. As for the 2025 Manhattan Short Film Festival itself, it was deeply disappointing. Each short film seemed worse than the last, with one even crossing into shock value by depicting disturbing cruelty between insects. If this is truly considered the “best” of upcoming filmmakers, it only highlights how far standards have fallen.

Took a quick trip from Tulsa to OKC to see the Jeff Buckley documentary at the OKC Museum of Art. Arrived early and walked around the museum, and we were really impressed. We were thrilled to see the Ansel Adams exhibit and the Chihuly pieces. Every employee of the museum that we encountered was very helpful. The museum is not focused on a lot of pieces and the ones they have do not have detailed explanations. The museum has a few good interactive and documentary style experiences, but it doesn’t compensate for the lack of over all museum pieces and explanations.

The family discovery playground, saved this rating from being a 2 star. It was okay as well for an indoor playground. Again nothing amazing but okay.
The museum is maybe a 45 minute event. Overall not worth the money, maybe at about $35, but not $75.

As for the food, we dined at two spots. The Hawaiian place served good food, but two dishes for my wife and daughter totaled $37—with no drinks included. My son ordered a burger, which came to $18, including an overpriced fountain drink. Finally, my son and I tried tacos from another vendor—$30 for four small, uninspired tacos and a single drink. Altogether, we spent $78 on what amounted to a collection of small, underwhelming meals.
At least I can say I’ve been there and done that, but I’m not sure I’d be eager to return. While The Collective has charm and potential, the high prices and logistical frustrations make it hard to justify as a regular dining option.

We went to The Collaborative in OKC for the first time and really enjoyed it! It’s a fun setup with several different small businesses, so everyone in our group could find something they liked. It’s a great place to go with friends or family when no one can agree on the same restaurant.

There are a couple of things I wish we’d known before going. It’s a cashless system for food purchases, so you’ll need a gift card, which you can get at the bar in the back. Took our kids to check out wheeler Park. Its a really cool concept, but could use some repairs. Nearly every hammock surrounding the lawn was broken. The ferris wheel itself and the lawn games are really great. Unfortunately it was too windy the day we went so the ferris wheel wasn’t running. My husband and I had such a great time visiting the Oklahoma National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautifully everything was displayed. We really enjoyed seeing all the incredible artwork — the paintings truly captured the spirit and history of the West.

Visited this museum TWICE while in town for a week because it was that much fun.
My kids ages 4 and 7 loved every nook of this place. The museum is huge and while packed with activities feels very spacious, open and clean.
There are exhibits for all age ranges and I think kids and adults can be engaged for hours just the same. We all enjoyed every aspect of it.
The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped for children to independently use them including low sinks, soap and towels.
We loved the mirror maze, sensory nook, tinker room, and the live science shows (we saw two).
I’d like to mention 2 cons:
- the food offered at the restaurant is not good quality nor there are healthy options. The cafeteria just doesn’t makes sense with such a great facility. Wish they offered healthy, fresh cooked food. My kids ate pizza and a pretzel and both were packaged/frozen, warmed up low quality food. But they do have Starbucks coffee and I enjoyed that.
- the garden has so much potential to be a great place as well but seemed a bit neglected. There are a couple of things you would do there but a playground or more science outside would’ve been great. The picnic tables were also dirty and a bit neglected.
Overall a very good experience and I recommend it for a full day of fun. Pack your own lunch and snacks and you are all set! Worth the ticket price 100%.

We celebrated my kids’ birthday here recently and it was completely worth it. The staff drew pictures on the wall that gave them so much glee. We added in the ice cream package and Roman did a fantastic job getting the kids involved. All the families had so much fun checking out the museum as most parents hadn’t been since they were kids. You know this place has such a fun atmosphere, and wasn't to busy for a Saturday. The ride options for kids 45 inches or taller is great. If you have kids under 38 inches just known there are like 4 rides. Food is about $16 drinks are like $5 or they have a cup you can refill for free but it's $20. I loved the western town look and the play houses. Super fun all the coasters are short but a fast adrenaline fun. The raft ride not worthy the wait. Silver bullet is totally worth it.

Great place! I love it. There isn't too much of a wait most days, and the season pass is totally worth it. The Diamondback is finally up and running again, and the Renegade Rapids would be better if they turned the waterfall back on. Waiting 15-20 minutes and hardly getting wet isn't worth it—hopefully, they fix it soon. Parking isn't too bad, depending on the day. I wish they stayed open later; it really sucks to get off work and only have an hour with the family most weekends. Can’t wait for next year!

This is not a huge six flags park which for me is nice as I was able to go, spent a few hours and ride what I wanted to. It was a hot day but I enjoyed the coasters, especially Wildcat, and some other rides. They have a nice selection of flat rides, a few water rides and a small water park. This was my first visit and I was surprised how nice it was, the employees were nice and the park had a lot of theming that was a nice addition that many parks are missing. I really had fun and I hope more people will check it out, again don't expect a huge park with 50 rides, that's not what this is, but you don't have to spend all day in line or rush through the park, you can just enjoy it. The park is a good, small park. Some of attractions and rides were closed, including the Dimond back. You cannot take anything on any rides, which was pretty ridiculous. No sunglasses on simple rides. We couldn't take any items on the river ride and had to come walk all the way to back to the entrance to get our things. A SixFlags park that hasn’t been branded with their IPs
This park is SMALL, I’ve seen bigger Walmart parking lots then the parking lot for SFFC. if you have a season pass and in the area it’s a decent place to stop to get a few ride credits but I wouldn’t recommend traveling more then an hour to the park or buy a day ticket. The entire park has a western theme. There is a quick western show on the main plaza about 15min before rope drop & they have a decent stunt show with the same actors a few times a day. Keep your eyes on the guy with the long red hair to see the best falls.
the coasters seem slow in the morning when they 1st start up but have some decent (not great) speed and forces later in the day. Every employee I ran into seemed to be enjoying their time working.
Wouldn’t be surprised if SixFlags decided to sell this park to an independent developer instead of keeping it in their lineup of parks.

Not likely to come back. Lifeguards didn't really do much, barely any tubes at all the slides (and lazy river), no shade (all concrete), and terrible location. Sandwiched between a busy highway and the city's garbage truck parking lot... And I mean just a few feet from the highway with nothing separating you except a chain link fence with razor wire. Felt like I spent the entire day waiting for a tube and then waiting in line just to go down a rusted tube. Asked a lifeguard about the lack of tubes and he said, "Yeah, I know." They'd sit there and offer you a kid tube so you would leave them alone and you'd then wait in line for 30 minutes to be turned away at the top of a slide tower for having the wrong tube... Watched it happen non-stop all day!!! Lifeguards totally checked out. Saw what I'm pretty sure was a drug deal go down... But maybe that's just Oklahoma? Cabana was nice and the servers there were great. The rest? Not good.

There is absolutely no crowd control or line management. This is both for the slide rides and food. It is a free for all of people stealing tunes, not waiting in lines, and cutting in front of others. The major problem at these water parks it the lack of staff controlling these issues and tube pick up. They just let kids cut the front of the line. This goes the same for food. We had to wait for someone to go find their card because the worker wouldn't simply take new customers while the woman looked for her card. And at the end The fruit was frozen not fresh, and the fries were stale. On a seperate note, very dirty wave pool. Their waves were shut down and the pool was covered in leaves and hair. Splash and Safari was way better than this water park for sure.

We went on a week day. Lines were not long except for 1of the rides. If you have diamond season pass you have to reserve parking, as well as some private sitting areas. They have weight limit. This place is magical in every way! We will come here anytime and everytime we are in OKC. Most places kids go they are restricted on what they can touch and where they can go and there are all these limitations. Those limitations melt away as soon as you enter this place. It's so great for their developing brains! OMG. This place is awesome and it didn't disappoint. My wife found it while looking for things to do with Kids In OKC. This place rocks. The staff was so welcoming and very kid friendly. Iconic restaurant and soda pop store right on Route 66. I dropped in around noon on a Saturday and it was busy. Took a spot at the bar and ordered a chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and Texas toast. Order took a bit to come out but was delicious. The portions were good but I expected just a bit more. My waiter was very good. Over all the place is amazing with a mild blowing selection of soda pops and displays. Food was good and staff were excellent. Just a note the place has gas but it is a bit higher price.

Didn't eat there, just stopped in for soda selection and the atmosphere. The place was busy the whole time we were there. High selection of sodas with virtually any flavor you could want. There is a diner built into the gas station, but can't speak to the food there. 80% soda, the rest normal gas station stuff, with a good candy selection too.
There is a good back area for dogs and kids to run around to stretch your legs.
Was a fun experience, but as a non soda drinker didn't do much for me, but I got the experience and glad we went. The kids loved it.

What a great event it was started off with stampeded through Main Street, awesome gun fights on streets, free foods and many cowboys on horse and guitar singers to entertain spectators. Good restaurants and Western wears to eat and shop while you wait in between events.
