In other words it's not worth value for money. The size of the bhatura is very small considering the price they are charging. If they continue to do so, the day is not far when they start to loose popularity for this legacy. But the size of the bhaturas were small as compared to other places. The chole tasted decent(nothing unique about it). My biggest criticism of this place would be the steep price. I mean 100 bucks for a plate and you have to pay another 5 rupees on top of it if you want to dine-in. This is atrocious. It is really a running restaurant due to the fancy name it carries over the years but to be honest I didn't quite like it as per the hype it has in the restaurant world.

Finding it does take a little navigation since it’s not right on the main approach, but once you get there, the place feels like a slice of old Delhi. The menu is simple with their signature chhole bhature and chhole kulche. I went for the classic plate of chhole bhature paired with a mango lassi. The bhature came puffed and golden, crisp on the outside with that slight chew inside. The chhole was topped with onions and chilli, kachalu and a lauki kofta. Quantity was so less that even one person cannot eat properly. We ordered thali and the person at the outlet filled mix veg only half of the compartment in the thali. When I ask him to put some more in it they simply ignored it. Adding to that they put only one small piece of Paneer in the name of Paneer gravy. I know this review may not impact Amritsar express looting and people will still go and spend there hard earned money on the food of this restaurent. But still i have the right to express my disappointment whichbI am doing. However later I find more pure veg better option at GIP.
