I booked a car and it arrived late. Upon arrival the car was in a awful condition. The seats were filled with dirt. I called them immediately. They were very quick to offer return but I requested cancellation. They told me they can look for another car and will call me in 10 mins. His driving was ok - he often took what we’d consider unnecessary risks sometimes though. But it was his personal behaviour during and after the trip that spoiled it for us. So when we got out of the car the last time, I gave him a large bag of sweets from my country and asked our guide to thank him for being part of our Indian experience, and to wish him well. He ignored me and immediately began conversing with our guide in a very heated tone. We realised an argument was about to take place so we moved into the hotel reception area, leaving them in the carpark. Shouting carried on for some time - apparently Rahul was insisting on a tip of 500 rupees directly from us, but our guide’s view was that the business agreement was between the two of them, not with us.
