The only reason this isn't a 1 star review was because the price was the best in the area and the staff at the location were reasonable in person. The staff was friendly and quick to assist upon arrival. We were given a "free upgrade" which translated to a larger, less fuel efficient vehicle than we requested. We were presented with a screen of options to pay for protection, but there is not an option on the screen to decline additional protection. You must verbally decline additional protection. The vehicle itself was fine. The after-hours return and key drop were nice features to have, though a bit misleading as we were told to leave the vehicle in a SIXT parking space and there were no SIXT parking spaces available upon return. Things took a considerable turn for the worst after our return. We were charged $35 for fueling when we actually returned the vehicle with more fuel in it than when we picked it up. This was a blatant (or malicious) error by the team at SIXT Las Vegas Hughes Center. Despite providing images to the online service team at SIXT to prove the vehicle had more fuel in it when returned than when picked up, SIXT lied on multiple occasions and failed to admit the error. Due to the lack of respect and integrity from SIXT, I can not recommend renting from SIXT.

My bill was over $300. I called their 1800 number and those poor operators. They are trained like animals to say over and over and over again "'I am sorry but insurnace is not refundable after the car leaves the lot". I didnt matter what question or comment I made, that was the answer I got back. When I returned the car, I retold my story to the lot attendant. He said, "I am really sorry, I'm embarrassed to be working here, this scam happens all the time ". I will let the manager know that I saw your insurnace and ask him to refund the charge. I just got my final bill. The insurance charge is still on the bill. I called the 1800 number again and told them of my return experience and how i was told it happens all the time and that I would be getting a refund. Again the agent went right into her training and told me over and over again the same line as above. I will be reporting this to my credit card company as fraud and go from there. I have been renting cars in Vegas for 30 years. NEVER have I had such a terrible experience. Also they are offsite (not at the regular rental lot) so 2 shuttles are needed to get there.....they don't mention that either.

Our flight was at 6am so we had to drop the car off at 330am and it was closed but there was no drop box in front of the building and so we followed the signs which were written on there windows to that drop off rentals were in the back of the building so we followed the arrows to a sketchy house in the back with a drop box and parked the car in front of the drop box...we tried calling all of the numbers given to make sure this was correct but since it was after hours we couldn't get ahold of anyone so we left the car and put the keys in the drop box...come to find out later that day we were charged $350 for a missing key because we put the key in the wrong drop box.... when we called and talked to someone they said there was nothing they could do because they couldn't get in that drop box.... so we had to pay th fee... we will never rent from them again.

And the worse part is when we returned the vehicle, Carlito (I think that was his name) was in the parking garage, inspected the vehicle, and did not notate any stains or issues on the paperwork he provided me because he knew the stains were old!! I got this charge days after returning the vehicle. I am a chairman at Golden Nugget and travel there every other month, I always rent from Budget at the Golden Nugget, and I will never again rent from them for this SCAM!! Please take photos of your vehicle when renting from Budget, prior to taking the vehicle so you don’t get scammed! Also, I called the manager of Budget Golden Nugget, Jai Bryant, for two weeks and left several voicemails and he has never returned my calls. I escalated the disputed charge through the corporate office and the representative said they have a new system of checking rentals for any stains, dirt, debris, damage after every rental so that customers get a nice and clean vehicle. So because of that new system, the stains have to be from me. That’s total BS because I just rented another vehicle from them and took pics upon retrieving it, just to show how dirty Budget vehicles are. Look at the last 4 photos, I documented the stains and scratches this time which is proof that they don’t check the vehicle after every renter. They wait until it gets really bad to clean it then charge the last renter the cleaning fee. Renters beware!!! Also, they did not provide me with date stamped photos of the damage or photos of the vehicle after it was cleaned. So there’s no proof that they even cleaned it and the photos of the stains could have been taken at anytime in any vehicle (first 3 photos were what they sent me). Budget is cheap and their customer service is cheap too! It is so sad that they operate this way and charge innocent people for damages they did not do!! UPDATE: After posting this review and sending several emails to Budget, Ana called me and said it was a mistake, that the $150 cleaning fee was intended for the customer who rented BEFORE me. When I returned the vehicle I waited in line for an hour to submit a reimbursement claim just for them to tell me "their servers were down". I had to leave my receipt and hope they submit the claim. This is a 0 star for me. Arrived and was number 3 in line it took 2 hours from my vacation time to get out of there. Never in life have I waited this close in line and watched their personnel do everything but care for their customers. They had ONE person actually working to get customers taken care of. I was called to the counter by an elderly woman and waited while this Representative did what she eventually called "side work" then instead of getting me taken care of she rushed to take a FedEx envelope and keep me waiting longer. She then called someone else while I pulled up my insurance because I declined their insurance. By the time she got me started the couple that was behind me, being taken care of by the ONE decent working rep lady, were done and gone and she was on to the next. There was no reason anyone should wait 2hrs to be taken care of with incapable people at the counter who care nothing about the customers time. The car was nasty inside and the seats looked like they've never been cleaned. I will never recommend this location. They are miles from the rental car lot and you have to take a shuttle to get them from the car rental location. The cost was low but the crap customer service isn't worth it while you're trying to enjoy the start of your vacation. Spend the extra money and use a valid rental service. Worst rental car experience ever in my years of renting.

I connected through their chat function and was told they would only hold my reservation for 2 hours past the pickup time. I asked to change the pick up time and they said I couldn’t because it was booked through Expedia and I need to talk to them. I decided to call Easirent to actually talk to someone. I waited on the phone for 25 min before someone picked up. They told me they would only hold the reservation for 1 hour and that they couldn’t change the pickup time and to contact Expedia. I reached out to Expedia and they said they couldn’t change the reservation and tried to call Easirent. They sat on hold twice and no one picked up. So I decided to chance it. After landing and taking 2 different shuttles I finally get to the rental location. IT’S VERY SHADY! There were 4 people in line and it took over an hour. (They have 90’’s R&B playing loudly while you wait) I finally get to the counter and they forced me to pay $120 for insurance. Told me I could not leave with a car without buying their insurance. Fine, I paid. This was in addition to their $250 deposit. The entire process was very archaic. SO DATED! They kept giving me things to sign but not time to read any of it. Then they emailed me all the documents but I have yet to receive it. The whole process took FOREVER. Then they told me they had a car but it wasn’t clean yet so I had to wait for that too. (It was still dirty when I got it.) From when I walked in the place to when I left was about 2 hours. I have no idea what the return process is going to be like but hoping they don’t cause me to miss my flight! I don’t know how this place is still doing business.

It was very organized the night before they gave me my meal options, and let me know who my tour guide was going to be and the bus number. Now this came in handy because there was more than one bus at the stop so I knew which one to stand at. My tour guide was Laila and from the start she did a role call and sat us all individually. The whole day she had so much knowledge and was very helpful. Our driver Stephanie was also awesome handling all the turns like pro and never left me feeling unsafe. I decided to book the private tour since I was by myself and it was worth it. Laila took pictures for me and gave a lot of history of each place. She also made sure she did a role call before we went to another place which made me feel safe if I went missing someone would know. Me personally I recommend the lunch the breakfast wasn't the best. You also get a few stops but limited timing so if you don’t buy the food options bring something with you the food at the actual Grand Canyon was high so the lunch you buy from the tour comes in handy. I can’t brag enough but awesome tour! Highly recommend!

The office were wonderfully understanding and rebooked one of them for a different day, effectively saving my trip. And what a trip it was! Our tour guide Eric was well organised and a delight to talk to, and Tracy was an excellent driver. As a solo traveller in a new city, I felt entirely at ease throughout the whole trip and got some amazing photos taken by Eric I immediately pinged to my family eight timezones ahead. The Grand Canyon was awe inspiring, but Grand Canyon Destinations' customer service was incredible. Definitely book the South Rim tour if you've got a spare day in Vegas!

I tried to call nu to see if I could exchange for a different car at a nu car rental at the destination I was driving to but they were not affiliated with the location so I was stuck with this car for the duration of my trip. The actual vehicle was perfect. But the service is what is awful, it took me almost one hour to receive the car. They have one employee checking in customers that are renting vehicle’s and the same employee giving receipts for returns. That same employee stopped what she was doing while i was waiting to receive my vehicle to give a customer a receipt for a return. The following day i go in to return our vehicle and they acted like i was not standing there, i waited another 30 minutes. Because they could not stop what they were doing to give me my receipt… how ironic. Until i had to tell them something because our uber to return to our hotel had been waiting outside. This is when they said they would give me the receipt through email which i still have not received. I do not even blame the employee’s, i blame the management and the ownership. The computers are from the year computers were invented. The system is slow, the screen to sign is not calibrated and does not function. The IDs don’t read properly. They have 4-5 people working at a time and only one of them checks in customers for cars and is the same person that processes the receipts for returns. When we sat down to do some numbers I decided to go with the warranty they were offering. The truck had 96k miles on it and was in great condition so we thought it was a good idea to go with the best warranty. Three days later the truck oil pressure light turned on and the first thing I did was call the owner Sam. Sam had me take it to a shop who identified the issue and unfortunately I needed a new engine. Sam then over the course of a little over month helped me work with the warranty to get my engine fixed and get me back in the rode in total the job costed over 13k in repairs. Luckily because of the warranty that Sam offered I only had to pay for fluids which was under $400. Most dealerships would have thrown me to the wolves if I came to them with this issue but Sam and hot deals auto helped me and made sure that I was going to be taken care of. Last and probably the most impressive point, after a 24 hour race and getting ready to return the van we noticed a small damage to one of the vans and where bothered that we didn’t know what happened over the night. When we returned the van I pointed the damage out and told him we had not noticed it prior so it must have been us. Without even a second thought he immediately informed us the small blemish was already there and was due to be fixed at ther body shop. I thought for a minute, in a world of dishonest people, it would have been easy for Kevin to let us take the blame and maybe charge extra yet the honesty and professionalism was on full display. This is a big deal for a consumer and impressed me more then I can explain.
