The staff was very nice and the cabin was clean. The beds were comfy and it was mostly what we expected. We were thinking the cabins would be a little more secluded but you are right on top of your neighbors at this city park. The primitive campers were loud but did quite down after 10. The mini cabins share a porta potty, but at least its a larger ADA compliant one. The bathhouse is very small for the number of sites they have. The women's has 3 showers and 2 toilets and the men's just has one toilet and 2 showers. I got clean, but it was not the best laid out space for sure. It would help a lot to have shelves or somewhere to place things inside and outside the shower stalls. The lake is pretty small; it will take 30 mins to make it all the way around by kayak. It is great they do kayak rentals for those who don't have their own and the price was affordable. We did hike some trails while there and it was fun but we added on an extra 5 miles or so when we took a wrong turn so having the trails clearly marked would help a lot with that. Would be a great day trip but not really a destination if you are looking for a more secluded camping adventure.

A glass chapel nestled in the forest, nature’s beauty elevating the spiritual to another level. Christ of the Ozarks is a sight to see, the grounds are beautiful, and the onsite shop is very nice. You may want to see the passion play that takes place there live. Don’t forget to get the tickets if you’re in town and interested! You can get pretty much anywhere from one of the lines and the wait to get back on is not terrible, they have a real time map that you can see how far away they are from you. We’ve visited Eureka Springs before and the narrated tram tour is a must as you get some of the history but also a tour of places you didn’t realize were there.

Cool shaded area with a free book library next to it. Grab a book and read a bit while listening to the birds around you. Really neat gazebo above it, there was a big piece of plywood retaining some of the wall between the bluff and the spring when we visited. The concrete work around the spring is pretty cool to see in person and the history is definitely interesting to read. There's plenty of seating under the trees and the breeze feels great. There's a loud water fall sound from the off pour across the street making it a super relaxing spot to sit for a bit. There's also a trolley stop very close by for those wanting trolley hop between springs.

Motorhome and each time made lifetime memories. The location is excellent and has a trolley stop right on the property. The park is kept extremely clean virtually everywhere all the time. We will be spending an extended weekend again soon there with more family and have high expectations great fun. I do wish the pool was heated but that is my only personal wish. Trails are graveled for the most part so very easy but some variation to make for a nice bit of hiking. The shoreline trails is very rocky and at some places a bit slippery. Brian and Austin are terrific at running the place. Stayed in a beautiful cabin, we had everything we could ask for. The boys seemed to have a lot of work, but they only had super nice things to say about the owners. We stayed at this campground years ago when someone else owned it and it's so nice now. The bath house is spotless and you really get what you pay for. Chris checked us in and he was a delight. He asked about us and made us feel like he cared. In case the owners would like to refute, our reservation was under my husband’s name, which is different from mine, and we were the people who should have checked in in 6/26 for one night.

This was a 15th anniversary trip for us and or first trip to Eureka Springs. First, Amber hosted us and was very kind, helpful, and an excellent cook. Second, the accommodations are great. We stayed in the room off the main lobby. It’s an historic house but was classy and quiet. Third, it’s close to everything but you won’t be overrun by other people. Excellent location. Finally, the only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars was that there is a peculiar musty smell especially in the main room/main kitchen. This carried a little bit into our room. My wife is highly sensitive to smells that give her headaches. I could smell it but it didn’t bother me in the same way. This may be something that affects you only if you’re highly sensitive such things. If you are, perhaps stay in one of the detached units, but you should be aware of it. We will not stay here again. We booked the silent springs room. We expected quaint but this place is so small! No closet, no amenities like a refrigerator or microwave. We called to gain room access & were told to come back in an hour-the room hadn’t been cleaned yet. 2 hours later when we returned, the floors were still wet from the mop & there were hairs on the floor in the wet water, where the mop had not been cleaned before reuse. There was a whirlpool tub that was very old-we were scared of what lurked in the vents. The only thing we liked was that the patio furniture was comfortable. Breakfast delivered on time. We purchased 2 day passes, and were beyond pleased! The desk clerk was amazing, she answered all of our questions with a smile (even though I'm sure she answers the same questions 50 times a day). We were very pleased parking our vehicle in the parking lot, and felt safe leaving it there. There's also clean restrooms there and charging stations for electric cars. Once we got to our lodge, we were even more thrilled to see there was a trolley stop right outside, allowing us to park there and come back to our lodge as many times as needed throughout the day! There's several trolley stops throughout town that were close to everything we wanted to do. It was nice to scan the sign to see how far away your trolley was, or if you had missed it. Super friendly drivers and safe! The way they take those curves and maneuver around vehicles parked in the wrong spots/not parking spots, was VERY impressive! Also, you are in the AC, and each seat has a window you can open for fresh air! They stop every few minutes to sanitize the seats and entire inside! We have told everyone we know coming to the area to DEFINITELY ride the trolley's. It was the best 10 bucks we spent all weekend!

The greediest animals were mostly the bison and alpacas, but some deer were not too proud to accept a handout as well. The biggest surprise was the walking area both in and outside of the building. So many animals of all kinds, super close and personal, many of which were accessible for petting. None were more magnetically adorable than the 3 week old alpaca that was happily soaking up all the love that it was receiving. I can’t list off the animals but suffice it to say there was something for everyone, and again I didn’t see a single animal that looked stressed, sickly, or poorly cared for (and I did work in a zoo/aquarium setting for several years). The facility may not be AZA accredited, nor state of the art, but they seem to genuinely care about the animals wellbeing. If you have a half day to spare make the drive and you’re sure to make some good memories.

CAME AROUND 4pm today and it was perfect. My hubby and I were the only ones there! Water was kinda chilly but I got used to it! My husband was freezing tho lol. Very clean. Never seen water so clear. Bathrooms were clean. Nice water spout outside to wash feet off. Only bad thing I can say was the access to the water from the parking lot. There are no steps and very steep. I did sit down on this ledge which helped me get lower without falling. lol. Rocks are a little sharp but they’re only there for a few feet. Not much of a beach earlier at all but we were there to be in the water !
