It might be a complimentary visit if you plan other things in downtown. We went specifically to see the dolls and it took us longer to get there and find the parking than visiting the exhibition. A thing to keep in mind: there are arcades in the same building and the kids get more excited about playing games than looking at the dolls. Overall, worth visiting but wouldn't recommend going specifically for that.
