Art is subjective, so I didn't like everything, but it was great to see all the creativity and read about the artists. There are 3 floors of beautifully laid out exhibits. We also had lunch at the cafe and ate outside in a beautiful garden with an amazing looking "gratitude" fountain. I had a bowl of the soup of the day (Creamy potato) and my friend had Red Curry Coconut Hummus that came with fresh carrots, celery and cucumber slices. I'm not a fan of Hummus, but this was delicious. So if you're on the fence about visiting a "boring" art museum, just go. I promise you won't be disappointed. AND... it's FREE! What a beautiful way to spend the day.

Every path and area was well layed out to accommodate wheelchairs. One of the exhibits had an option to walk up to it as well so had a ramp for chairs so no one missed out. It's also a generally very quiet building which offered a much needed sensory break. You can't bring food or water inside for the safety of the art and I did not know this. A worker offered to keep my water bottle at the front desk so we didn't have to go back to the car to drop it off which was VERY helpful. 💜 Also a thank you to that worker for not judging my Dad's joke. My Dad has a TBI and sometimes misses societal boundaries but the worker didn't judge. The multi stall bathrooms are not chair accessible but I imagine that the single person family restrooms are. The elevator is MASSIVE and has a few chairs in it to watch a presentation on a TV screen in it. There are places with darker lighting in them that preserve the art but also offered me a place to rest my eyes as they strain easily in bright light. The entrance is also very accessible and I felt so seen and thought about. Even the choice of solid polished floors for an easier time pushing my chair without getting stuck on other types of flooring was amazing. It was an all around great experience and my family and I will be going to the other art building sometime soon to experience more. We will also likely revisit this building. 💜💜💜

Kristina apologized and said they were out of lobster but had a "big lobster left" what that meant, no clue. So we asked since they didn't have the 4 oz for the trio, could we have additional shrimp on the order, she said no problem. I ordered the "big lobster" with baked potato. Fast forward, she came back and apologized that they ran out of shrimp, so now on the Trio that my husband ordered, the only thing left were the scallops. So even to our disbelief that they were out of so many items we said it was OK just make it all scallops and we're thinking around 8-10 pieces to make up for the shrimp & lobster. We got our French Onion soup, which was DELICIOUS, and enjoyed the salad bar. We finished up and then waited for our entree, and waited, and waited. Finally, our food arrives, to our astonishment there were 5 pieces of scallops on his plate, so 3 extra to replace the 2 shrimp they were out and 1 for the missing lobster!!! Not acceptable. As she set my plate down, she says, sorry, we are out of baked potato and so they took it upon themselves to make the decision for me and gave me mashed potatoes. Whatever. She walked away, I noticed a person clearing a table near us and I asked to see the menu. The trio was $38 and the Scallop dish was $41. I said, yes, substituted the shrimp and lobster with extra scallops not change my husband's entire meal and then charge us more for it. The owner came to our table and I voiced my displeasure.
