Went here for my birthday with my family And right from the gate, they were the sweetest to us. My niece was hopping around, and they got her a colouring paper and crayons. They heated up her food. The wine cellar is hidden away down a spiral staircase. Descending down the stairs, you feel as though you are being ushered to a secretive or exclusive hip hotspot. My wife and I first visited La Cava about a week ago. It was around 6 pm and we had the place to ourselves. Our server was incredibly attentive, funny, and well-spoken. He explained to us about about the 7 to 9 Grape & Cheese special, which we booked for later in the week when were leaving. The music being played during this visit was pure classic jazz and truly fit the intimate setting of the cellar. He explained that the Grape & Cheese nights were very popular and that the cellar would get very noisy and that we should take a look at the available seating upstairs. We opted to reserve seating on the ground floor level for the next visit. The area is nice and seating is spread out making it perfect when wanting to have a conversation. This worked out perfectly when we had a guest join us for this evening. The only issue was that the initial seating we had was really uncomfortable. Our server quickly showed us to another area which was better. He got our evening off with some bubbly and plates of finely sliced meats, an assortment of breads, and several types of cheese. As the evening celebration unfolded we sampled a very nice Pinot Noir and a delectable dry Riesling. With great conversation and wines flowing our two hours came to a end much quicker than expected. Time seriously flew by... Each night we have been there, the staff on hand has made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The snacks have been delightful and scrumptious, and the setting transports one to Bordeaux or Tuscany. La Cava is a place we look forward to taking many an extended vacation to in the months to come.

Great happy hour, beers were cheap and goes on until 9pm! The bands are good, worth a listen if you are in to older rock music, personally, I enjoyed it. Bloody Mary is the best one I had anywhere! On Thursdays there are two DJs…one plays until 10 when the other takes over. The first DJ plays mostly Latin music…mixed with few English songs but his songs selection is horrible. The second DJ is much better. Let me start with the positives this location is awesome because it's really close to the beach and the view is amazing. The customer service and music is on point for sure. I had the fresh coconut for my drink and wow wow it was so delish. I would absolutely recommend the fresh coconut as a drink. I had the passion fruit wings as my appetizer no lie was very surprised by how good it tasted. But I'm glad I stepped out the box and tried it. Well worth the try. For my entree I had the curry shrimp and I have to say being Caribbean I wasn't impressed by the taste or flavor of the curry at all. And just a heads up it does have a kick to it. My curry shrimp came with white rice and it was topped with some grated coconut, but it didn't add any flavor to the rice. 2 of the people sitting at the table with me had the oxtails with rice and beans and they absolutely enjoyed it. Another person at my table had the curry goat and that person said it was super spicy and no flavor. For dessert I had the granny pudding and that's an absolute no, it had no flavor and it was chewy and hard at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor would I go back to be honest.

Spent 3 days here and it was great. Staff was very approachable and nice to us and i must say all night all long theyre were so nice even the security was nice as well. I like the outdoor seating area but unfortunately its by the service road, its not as quite, yet, i go their at least twice a week. The staff are very nice and super friendly, their manager came himself asking us about the service and the food. The food was good and their coffee is usually good, they have as well a starbucks option. They provide screens for watching matches in football nights and they allow playing cards and board games. The only downfall i see is the parking, although you can park in the basement parking, yet you are limited to one hour for free and you have to pay for the rest.
