My husband and I had been planning to celebrate our anniversary at an Italian restaurant since we both love Italian cuisine, and stumbling upon Antonia by chance made the evening even more special. For mains, we had the beef pasta (can’t recall the Italian name!) and the truffle pizza, both bursting with flavor. By the end, we were quite full but couldn’t resist dessert – the tiramisu and lemon sorbet were the perfect finish, followed by a classic espresso to complete the Italian experience. The ambience was lovely, with a relaxing beachside view and a cozy, quirky aesthetic that felt very inviting. The only minor challenge was finding parking, but we managed to park a short walk away ,totally worth it. Overall, a fantastic spot for authentic Italian food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. The staff are polite but not as much friendly and it seems like they like to serve certain people and ignore others. Anyhow it’s a bit expensive.. but the atmosphere is really nice. It is a really really good emirati restaurant but it needs to be taken care of.

Attentive staff who provide rough and ready service, but do so pleasantly and in a sense, it’s in keeping with the theme. The food was delicious, we had a mixture of seafood, chicken and salads with soup and a couple of side dishes. Portions are generous and well cooked. The restaurant isn’t huge which adds to the ambiance and makes it homely. I didn’t appreciate A/C maintenance going on during the meal for hygiene reasons but perhaps it was an emergency. It also became rather crowded with delivery men so home delivery is obviously popular. All in all, a great meal in a pleasant atmosphere, would definitely return though I’d check if they’re doing maintenance next time!
