The architecture and experience are gorgeous and one of a kind. There was construction happening above the reception area which woke us up around 8am, but the [beautiful] church bells go off even earlier so it didn’t really bother us. The view from the roof is worth every penny! My wife enjoyed her massage, and we both enjoyed the cenote experience (FYI it’s cold water). Also, be advised there are no elevators. Some people are shocked when they discover that. The roof is three stairwells up. Overall amazing experience and we would most definitely come back. Thank you Otro!

I really appreciated that when we arrived, the room was available to check in even though we were early. When our trip was over, the concierge called us a private driver who was there waiting when it was time to leave, and we relaxed in the lounge with a Starbucks drink until our airport transfer. The location was fabulous, near lots of restaurants and shopping. It's just the right location to relax after sightseeing, a quiet place to relax and get good sleep. I highly recommend and 10/10 would stay again.

There are so many cozy and beautiful places to hang out - the lush courtyards, rooftop pool and bar, patios and library. We loved all the massive plants, the staff were friendly, kind and helpful and we felt comfortable there. We probably would not include breakfast next time, though it was great for a continental breakfast, there are just so many other wonderful options in the city (like stellar tomales from a cart a few blocks away) that I would rather just try all those. Flood at the rooftop bar was also just ok, would rather eat elsewhere. We didn’t have the full dinner though. The drinks were great. Only room for improvement is WiFi that works and better lighting in the rooms. They were rather dark.

Hablé con expedia y se comunicaron con el hotel y me dijeron que lo incluirian, volvi a revisar con el hotel y que lo ibam a hacer pero a partir del 3er dia y seria un desayuno Americano. El personal de 2do turno, Marian en recepcion y Rolando en valet parking, super amables y atentos, tuvimos problemas con las llaves y nos ayudaban rapidamente. It’s 500 pesos and that’s all credit for food & drink, which is great. The staff are friendly (I spoke Spanish so not sure of English level) and the space is beautiful. The pool is 10m and there’s a roof terrace with 3 sun beds and big shaded sofas. It wasn’t busy. The food was the let down - they didn’t have a single main dish available, and barely any of the starters. The only meat dish available was Reuben Sandwich which instead of salt beef had chewy, fatty overcooked beef and way too much cheese - it wasn’t good at all and gave my partner a stomach ache. The cocktails were pretty good and the drinks averagely priced for Oxaca. I would definitely come back but would use the 500 pesos on pool access and drinks, and eat elsewhere.

The hotel is located inside a city block about a 15 minute walk from the center of Centro. I never felt unsafe during our trip, and once you enter the hotel, it's very quiet and peaceful. Our family (two parents and two adult sons) stayed in the Family Suite, which was perfect because it had two bedrooms and three beds. Each room has it's own AC/heating unit, which worked well. The property was extremely clean and the service was excellent. Dulce, who manages the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The other staff was also helpful, though they didn't speak English as well. If you’re looking for a clean stylish quiet place 10 minutes walk from the Zocalo with excellent service this place is for you. The biggest star of the hotel is its English speaking manager, Dulce. From the gorgeous courtyard, to the huge and beautifully designed room (we had the two bedroom family suite), to the amazingly attentive and lovely staff, we were treated like celebrities staying at a nearly private compound. There are restaurants and cafes in the immediate neighborhood, but it's only a short and pleasant walk to the busier (and noisier) parts of the city. This was truly a wonderful experience on all levels. We stayed here for a week and could have stayed longer. The staff including Carlos, Danny, Betty and two others whose names I forget were fantastic. This is a small 8-room boutique hotel. We had a chance to see a few of the rooms and liked Siena especially as it is spacious, is on the ground floor (there are no elevators), and has a double vanity. While this room does face the street it has large wooden doors on the window to block the sounds at night. The breakfast is also excellent and very reasonable as well. It is also about a block from one of the main centers in Centro and steps from great restaurants, bars, and the Templo de Santo Domingo. We cannot wait to stay here again. Highly recommended.
