We started with the queso and chorizo. It was authentic and delicious. It comes out hot, in a little crock. You need to eat it fast or it hardens up. It wasn’t a problem to polish this off quickly. We decided to split 4 tacos to try 4 different things. They have their own hot sauces which were a nice added flavor to the tacos. We had the Al pastor, chorizo, Diego (Barbacoa) and the street corn shrimp. The al pastor was tasty, good seasoning and the pineapple was delish. The chorizo was seasoned well but the meat was ground very finely, a little too much like a paste, just my opinion. The Diego was a Barbacoa, which had good flavor but the meat was a bit dry. The street shrimp taco was very crispy and the street corn topping was wonderful. I am very used to street taco sized shells. For $4.50 and up per taco I am used to a bit more protein. We originally booked Cupcaked for our cake pop and macaroon cake for our wedding in 2020, unfortunately COVID hit so we had to postpone our big celebration to 2021. As always, Annie was there every step of the way helping us figure out our design, number of each we needed, and flavors. She set it up beautifully and it exceeded every expectation that I had. Cupcaked made BOTH our wedding days complete. After all three events, I have heard nothing but positive comments about our desserts. Cupcaked will be the only bakery we use, not only because of how delicious and perfect everything is, but because of the special care and attention you get each and every time you work with Annie and her team. The Buffalo mac & cheese had potential they use a smoked pulled chicken, but ours was extremely fatty with all the skin left on it and it was not edible. Overheard a person at the bar return 2 different "tap" beers as they had a "sour/moldy" taste....What's that about?? Maybe it was an off night but this was by far the worst dining experience my family and I have had, honestly, ever. I told him about the chicken tenders and needing a box for the left over pizza. He went back and talked to the waitress. I could see him in the back from where I was sitting. Our waitress finally comes out, hands me a box, then says “they’re taking stuff off your bill, I can’t do that.” At some point She looks at my daughters plate which wasn’t touched and asks if we wanted a box for that, to which I replied “no, that chicken is completely raw.” Then she says, “well there’s nothing I can do”, and walks away. I will say they did take off the charge for the pizza logs and the chicken salad (which was a dollar more than the chicken fingers) but the waitress was so awful and on top of that was sick, sniffling and wiping her snot on her hand only to serve guests was disgusting.
