Once the door opened we got right in, but the place was already almost full. They really knew what they're doing because everything went smoothly. We had drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down and our waitress was very nice. On to the reason we went here in the first place. The once beautiful Mission furniture is grossly dirty, blackened wood floors from wear and ripped wallpaper in my room. The room needed a good cleaning. Dust and hair product caked on the makeup mirror; dust all over the half-broken blinds. Small signs on some of the windows in our room "Do not open". Window was broken. Very disappointing experience with little empathy to our concerns / complaints. This little place is a perfect spot for all occasions. This is an upper class casual place that will hit your pocket book but is well worth the price. My gf and I started off with soup. She had the loaded potato soup and I went with the lobster bisque. Both were excellent. For dinner we both went with steak. I had the wagyu strip and she had the filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and were delicious. We ended up saving room for dessert and both of those were a delightful finish to our meals. Our server was very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is laid out neatly with different rooms allowing for similar but different experiences. I do not drink but they have a nice bar area with plenty of options. I definitely look forward to going back to this establishment at some point. If you're in the East Aurora area it's definitely somewhere you should try for a spectacular dinner. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars.

I still cannot get over this woman reaching down into my food and taking things away and leaving pieces of herself behind. we are all so absolutely grossed out by this entire experience. edit to add, there's absolutely nothing disabled friendly about this place and it almost seems to have gotten even worse over the years. the steep walkway and parking area are in disrepair. I have a walking disability and had an extremely difficult time getting to and from the restaurant. not to mention all the wonky, uneven steps up and down from room to room. I can't imagine this day in age not having an accessible establishment.

When we arrived we were offered our choice of a private room or to eat in the main dining room, of course we took the private room. I ate 5/8 slices of my flatbread. I was with my parents who ordered 1 taco each and that was enough for a complete meal for both of them. I watched the lady in the blue shirt get pissed yelling she needed a whole new bills box (looked like the bottom fell out) then got pissed and started ripping up the bad box and threw the pieces on the floor. After that she told people in the drive thru there would be a wait because they were short staffed. The whole time no consideration for us in the lobby. The tall young gentleman was trying his best but he was dealing with her melt down(and yes she was starting to have a melt down- she was looking flustered by her actions and body language) I have been a manager at a fast food restaurant and that is not acceptable behavior in front of customers. If she is like this all the time I see why she could be short handed. I wouldn't want to work with or for someone who can not keep their cool. And yes being a manager in fast food means you have to be willing to go with the flow and expect the unexpected. Oh and they cleared the screen for the lobby orders and printed out the receipts so their in lobby waiting times were not reading long wait times. When it was my turn to be waited on I explained I wasn't from around there and I looked up their menu and was wanting to get a bite to eat. She asked if I was dining in or taking out. If I was dining in that I should go have a seat. I asked a few questions about the food but when I asked for a menu to look at while I was waiting she said "actually no" and told me that a server would know I haven't been waited on if I didn't have a menu. I thought that was a bit odd but it was my first time there so I went with it. While sitting I was able to look over the whole menu and start an online order but I wanted a better look at the baked goods so I cancelled that and walked back up front to wait in line again. The girl greats me again and it's obvious she doesn't recognize me even though I was just up there 15 or so minutes ago. I told her that nobody acknowledged me while I was sitting there even though two wait staff passed me by nobody said anything to me. She apologized of course which was nice but she was doing take out orders only. I told her it would have been nice to have been able to eat but nobody seemed to care that day. Before I turned to leave the girl gives me a card for $2 off a drink. I appreciate the gesture but not everybody drinks or likes a mimosa with breakfast. The food was delicious. The service was great. The burger was massive and cooked perfectly. The Irish onion soup had an awesome flavor upgrade on the traditional French onion. The shepherds pie took a bit of a detour in presentation with two giant dollops of potatoes on top rather than the usual full layer topping. The potatoes were excellent and packed with creamy flavor. The filling was a wallop of densely packed flavor itself. There wasn't a lot of gravy which sometimes over takes other shepherds pie. There was a pretty solid hit of carrot in each bite but it wasn't overwhelming and kept the lamb and other seasonings in check. A classic Guinness added a great highlight to the meal. Also the kitchen closes at 8pm . Now for the dart boards, I say they have 2 of them because physically they have 2 bullshooters, 1 of them is almost unusable, the 15" side has multiple stuck segments, the inner webbing is falling out and the backer is coming apart as well, the 13.5" side of the same board the 19 and 20 doesn't register at all. The other board worked well enough but the mechanics that are supposed to keep the face from rotating was broken and we had to stuff napkins in the edge to keep it still while we were throwing. All in all I will not be stopping here again for darts or even just to stop in with friends, it was not a pleasant experience and both of the dart boards need to be replaced or have someone come in to fix them

We called Byrncliff and had the pressure to speak with Joe. From the first call, he made it very clear that this was the place for us. We opted to eat outside and were able to order at the bar. Everything from apps to the food was phenomenal. None of us expected burgers this size; ingredients were fresh and flavors were all on point. Everything was cooked to our preferences and the presentation was awesome. Be sure to check their online specials before you go - it was well worth the visit and we will be coming back!

I ordered two orders of saki sashimi and 1 order of saki sushi for about $30 and some vegetarian options as backup, so it came out to about $50. Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed how little salmon there was for 30 dollars, and the meat itself was visually unappetizing, rather dull. I took one bite, and there was a strong fishy taste that shouldn't be present in any sushi grade fish. It was so repulsive I didn't want to risk it with the sashimi. It's about what I would expect if I bought some non shushi grade store bought salmon and put it on some sticky rice. You would be much better off getting sushi from wegmans, half the cost double the quality, for the same quantity of fish. Vegetarian options were alright. I'm glad I got those as backup.
