We only stopped for a quick bite and the outside looked inviting. Self service and ordering but no option on the app to put any comments apart from excluding certain things from your order. We didn't change anything except a, sauce which I had to go and manually speak to a staff member about. She was helpful and shouted into the kitchen. The burger was meant to be all singing and dancing but looked thrown together and expensive for what it was compared to other places. It looked dry and sad. We paid £15 for the burger and had to ask for sliced onion and lettuce to be given which came on the side when it was clearly advertised as part of the burger. Not sure if someone was having a bad day but I could have done better myself by throwing a burger in a bap. It was slapped together, thrown on a plate with chips and not worth the money, even by pub standards. My wings and chicken were ok... Wings were dry and small... But better than the burger my partner had. Worst £40 we spent on a meal ever if I'm honest and we didn't feel it was good value at all.

The most friendly welcome by the staff (Cam and Aleisha)who were happy to chat I'm a low key coffee snob but was really happy with the unlimited coffee, it was smooth and hot. The breakfast buffet was incredible, all of the food was hot and freshly cooked. Nothing had been sat for long at all, even the beans looked and tasted fresh. As soon as anything ran low it was replaced, even towards the end of the buffet. The food was good quality and filled us up plenty. Will definitely be coming here again next time we are up this way!

Walked in, was stood waiting to be seated and a female worker came over and asked if we’d booked a table, said we hadn’t then she asked if we wanted food and pointed for us to sit at a table, when we sat down at the table we then realised she had sat us at someone else’s table who then moved to the one next to us. We ordered through the app as it said it was quicker, our drinks were sat on the bar for a good 10 minutes, when they finally got brought over to us we had a different female worker (very moodily) say sorry for the wait here’s your drinks and walked off. We ordered hunters chicken and fully loaded chicken strips. The chicken strips meal is the picture attached, after the chicken was eaten there was a rogue mushroom that had managed to get into the meal that should not have been there, which clearly states their fryers are not checked very well. Also, the menus on the table were covered in sticky drink residue and food where they clearly do not get wiped down. Over all, rude and clearly not happy well looked after staff, rubbish food and dirty. Shouldn’t have bothered with giving a second chance! Would give 0 stars but wouldn’t allow.

Was recommended by a local after stopping overnight locally from a train event the evening before. Cooked perfect, choice of tomatoes fresh/tinned was perfect as fresh cooked toms, hot beans on the plate rather than in a ramekin, just couldn't fault it and loved the Worcestershire sauce at the table and a roll of kitchen paper was handy for cleaning up little ones sticky strawberry 🍓 jam toast fingers which went down a storm.
