Once we changed our diet, our lives improved greatly, except we could never really go out for dinner. We both had different allergies and it was really difficult to find places to dine. Then we heard about Julie’s Bistro and everything changed. We randomly dropped in thinking we’d go over the menu and take some to-go stuff, but they recommended that we sit down and order all proper-like.  We explained our sensitivities and they created a meal unlike any we’ve had. It was so good and fresh and made just for us! Our waitress was fantastic. She was so caring and understanding and explained how everything worked, that everything was made from scratch and that we can have it how we need it to safely eat our meal. The manager came out a couple times to verify our list of sensitivities and was always so polite and concerned. We felt valued and understood. There was no judgement. Our food was so good!! We’ll definitely be coming back (even though we’re an hour away). Next time, we’ll make their lives easier and let them know before we come so they are prepared with our list of sensitivities. I had been there a few years ago for breakfast and it was fabulous!! That being said.. this time was for lunch.. the food that was served to us was bland and only warm. The restaurant was no where near busy so I saw no reason to get cold food. The coffee tasted like it was the bottom of the pot that had been sitting for quite a while. I am a server myself so I do not like to complain about service but... this server tried to bring us the wrong order, the wrong bill, and we waited quite a while for her to take our payment. He argued and told me I never ordered it so I ordered another on the kiosk and by the time I was done ordering the lady making my food was handing me the missing item.
