My Salmon was crusted with something but I couldn't taste any garlic. Fresh spinach should only be cooked to order. Mine looked to have been sauted hours earlier and wilted, see photo. My salmon was over cooked and dry. Overall my dining experience was not good. Should I ever have to come back to Alexandria, MN for my work, I will not be eating at Perkins.

Both he and my sister ordered breakfast which they said was very good. Had a range of eggs, biscuits, hash browns and toast. I had a lunch of homemade chicken noodle soup and hot roast beef and mashed potatoes. The soup was delicious with large and thick noodles, fresh carrots and big chunks of chicken. For the hot roast beef the gravy was flavorful and beef plentiful on the sandwich. However, the temperature was very unequal. Part of the sandwich was very hot but a few bites over and it was a tad cooler. Would assume it had something to do with their heat lamps or microwave not equally heating the food. Wasn't a risk of being unsafe but from a quality perspective I want a dinner evenly heated. The site has a private parking lot and is handicap accessible. Just a note this restaurant has limited hours and only open for breakfast and lunch with close at 3 pm.

First off the lobby was gross to say the least. Both garbage bins where overflowing. Most of the table looked like they hadn't been clean and you could skate on the floor. Now I can understand being backed up in orders because of the drive-thru or how many people are inside but that wasn't the case here. When we had entered the establishment there was not that many people inside nor too many in the Drive-Thru, but yet it still took 22 minutes to receive two large drinks. I honestly would never go back to this place.

About another 25-30 mins later, I was able to leave with my food. I could only empathize with the staff because despite being completely swamped and severely under staffed, they were able to keep it cool, calm and collective & remained very positive & friendly the entire time.
