The pieces were moist and tender, and it came with a variety of vegetables (broccoli, baby corn, zucchini, carrot, onion, peppers) and garnished with sliced almonds. The chicken fried rice was rather plain, with miniscule pieces of chicken incorporated. The egg roll was made with pork and had a fragrant curry flavour. Value wise, $11.99 was a fair price! The restaurant was quite busy over the lunch hour. Being from the west coast where we're charged 5% GST on food eating out, we weren't used to the 14% HST that Nova Scotia charges. Still, we had an enjoyable meal!

It's withing minutes of walking from the hotel I was staying at. Their dining area had a nice decor and was very clean. The service was top notch. The young lady serving us had a great attitude and made great recommendations for both,drink and food. We were served in a timely manner. Before I could finish my first Lager, the food arrived. It was hot and looked fresh. A nicely portioned plate of what looked like the typical 'Chinese Food' but with a Southeast Asian twist. Not the biggest plate but it was enough to sustain me until my next meal. The only thing I wouldn't have again is the egg roll. I don't think the fusion concept worked well with that item. Their prices are reasonable. I was able to get a cold beer and have a good meal for about $30 + tip. If I'm ever back in the region, I might visit this restaurant, again. If I do, it will mostly be because of the great service. She was really that good.

Take our drink order, and dont bring desert and the bill while we are still eating and only been there for 20 min. We went for dinner last week. The service was fine and it looks clean. However the food was a huge disappointment. The eggroll would have probably been good if it wasn't lukewarm. When giving the rating I separate it's rating category in comparison to going to a fine dining experience. So far I have had the items from a Dinner for 2 plus meat spring rolls. Nothing short of being blown away, every item was cooked as close to perfection you can get. Each item deserves a thorough review as they all genuinely surprised me but I shall not for both our sake: flavour, consistency, portions, and a truly harmonious balance of grease/oil/moisture in each item. I have not had a bad experience, I won't ever care even if I do. This establishment has both earned my respect and culinary appreciation. I got chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, sweet and sour pork , beef and veggies and rice with an egg roll It was terrible the pork, chicken and egg rolls where soggy it tasted like it was microwaved the rice was mushy and the beef and veggies where cold and had some sour like smell coming from them. My partner got the Kung pao chicken, honey garlic chicken , sweet and sour pork egg roll and noodles Both chickens , pork and egg rolls were soggy also tasted like it could of been microwaved, the noodles where dry and had no flavor . My stomach didn't feel good after eating it , please avoid if you don't want an upset stomach. We are very disappointed it cost us almost $50 for our two meals Definitely won't be going here again .

I asked about the options on the combo plate for one and the owner offered to substitute the sweet and sour chicken if I wanted to try something different, which I thought was great as that wasn't mentioned on the menu. The second time I got it, it was much better with chicken, peas, and I think bits of egg too. I like my fried rice to have a lot going on in it. The egg roll was good. It seemed mostly meat but not as pasty as some of the other egg rolls I've had at other places. I liked the texture of it. Overall, I think it's decent value at $16 a plate. I was so excited to see new Chinese in Dartmouth, and love supporting food trucks/small business, so it was heartbreaking how poor my experience ended up being. I got fried rice and the noodles. Both were under-seasoned (no salt), overcooked (peas were shrivelled) and completely bland (noodles are listed as spicy and there wasn’t even heat). I ate a bit of each and had to toss the rest. Due to them being overcooked already, heating them as leftovers would’ve been worse. The service was friendly and helpful. The portions were indeed great, and served hot, however another downside to this place is the only “single portion” is the special plates, which are very American-Chinese dishes; all the other options are served as large, family portions. Because of this, I likely have no reason to go back, but I truly hope my experience was just poor luck.

The egg roll is PHENOMENON, probably one of the best i have ever tasted! The braised pork and canton-ease fried rice are excellent as well. Unlike typical Chinese restaurants, the food quality is very good and doesn't make me sick like others because it's less greasy and seems healthier. They are also reasonably priced that come with HUGE quantity to last you a few meals. I'm glad to find a taste of cantonese chinese home food so close to where i live in Dartmouth and don't have to drive across the harbour for decent chinese food. Highly recommended!!

A lady that had ordered ahead of me overheard that I was having difficulties deciding on an option and she highly recommended their lemon chicken, dumplings and said their egg rolls were amazing. I went with the lemon chicken meal and it was super duper tasty! Plenty of sauce and I really liked that it was not sickly sweet and had a true natural lemon taste. We also picked up a ginger beef combo for 2 for my folks. They were super impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. They said that it was definitely a different styled ginger beef to what they are used to but really enjoyed it. My ma shared her egg roll with me and it is hands down the best egg roll I ever ate. It was real meat that was not a gross meat paste consistency. The meat had a great texture and was seasoned and spiced beautifully. We all will be eating here again in the near future.

Nothing seemed fresh to order beyond the egg and spring rolls. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was very chewy and seemingly warmed up when I placed the order. The Stir-fry Mixed Veg was just a soggy mess of bok choy with 1 carrot sliver, 1 tiny diced tomato and one mushroom. The egg rolls were very greasy. The spring rolls were good. I have to be honest, that is the worst rice I have ever been fed in my life. It smelled and tasted like old socks. It was not remotely edible.
