Each time we’ve gone for drinks and dessert. The cocktails and drinks are always awesome, the staff is very friendly and the concept of this place is great. That said, the primary reason why we go here is for the dessert selections and while the variety is always nice, the desserts are always underwhelming. Nothing seems fresh, everything is always in the chilled display case and all of the cakes and things are just “meh”. My entire table didn’t like their dessert and we didn’t finish any of them. Everything was hard and super cold, and I feel like many of those desserts shouldn’t be served chilled the way they are. I really like the concept of this place and want to keep going back but their dessert is always so underwhelming. Maybe it’s just me? Maybe it’s just dessert? The reviews on here seem to make me in the minority. I would definitely go back for an espresso martini, but at this point having gone here several times for dessert I just think there are much better places.

Unfortunately the experience I had at hedonist ice cream was so bad I feel the need to warn others. This was the first red flag but at this point we were already in the store so we decided to ordered two small scoops of ice cream. The employees were not friendly and seemed like they were being inconvenienced to take our order. The salted caramel ice cream was so soft / warm that the employee could barely scoop it into the cup. It looked like half melted soft serve. It tasted extremely salty and had little other flavor. The strawberry ice cream was at least the right frozen consistency but tasted like plain milk with barely a hint of sweetness or strawberry. We were extremely disappointed and threw our cups away after taking two bites. A waste of $13. I know running a small business is difficult especially right now but there really is no excuse for the experience we had at hedonist Ice cream. Save your money and go somewhere else.
